I moved to a new residence on December 7, 2013 and I found myself trapped on the dilema of choosing the right moving company and as many of the people on this page, I looked at the reviews for Burloak movers, met with the president when he came to do the estimate (Great Guy) brought me some cardboard boxes and promise me, everything will be fine, on December 7 the moving crew arrived right on time 9:00 A.M. as promised and got to work right away, the move went smoothly and done on time, Thank you again to Burloak Movers and the professional crew, If I were to move again, I will hire Burloak movers without hesitation again.

From the moment we were in contact with Burloak Movers, we have been blown away by their professionalism, integrity and value. Martin came to our house and offered an honest quote that was exceptional. The communication was open and honest, and Martin was quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The day of the move was a cold winter day with snow fall accumulated from the day before. The movers showed up on time, eager and ready to work. Sinan, Justin and the two other gentlemen, thank you. My family and I haven't had the best of luck when it comes to moving companies over the years however BURLOAK movers were absolutely impeccable! The 3 men were strong, cautious, careful and very considerate when it came to laying a roll mat in the home in hopes of keeping the floor as clean as possible. All in a VERY timely manner. Many heavy and awkward items around tight corners and narrow stairs and not one ding, dent or scratch. Honestly! They made a stop for me at a furniture store for a pick up and although I was slightly nervous because it was a very large and heavy floor mirror- it arrived pristine. No matter how organized, moving is stressful but having found Burloak, it's 3/4 of the battle! They are my movers for life! Thanks guys.

The estimate was quite honest - I knew what I was getting into. The price was not the cheapest but I decided to go with Burloak Movers based on many of the favorable reviews. On the day of the move, the movers were very prompt and worked very hard. That said, there were few dings and minor scratches (something I was prepared for and this may be a function of a typical move). What didn't expect was a the movers ripping my 1 year old king size mattress and hiding it. Once I discovered the damage, I made a picture and followed up with the owner and made a credit deal in-lieu Burloak Movers making repairs to the mattress. Thinking on this a bit more - I am not sure this was the best choice on my part. Anyhow, the move is done and outside of the rip incident - we were generally satisfied.

Really thoughtful guys who even put together our bed (nice surprise!), moved a piano for us and plugged in lights. I very highly recommend this company, hard workers and very thoughtful!

Great job, Burloak Movers (and more specifically John and Nick) I was a bit afraid at first when I saw two guys instead of 3 (from the estimation quote), but my fear just vanished quickly seeing their professionalism! John and Nick were nice to work with, very careful with our fragile antiques and were able to get our biggest furniture to pass through hard corners while still being very careful! The cost was as expected (they worked efficiently) and service was great. There is no doubt in our mind that we will hire them the next time (probably within 2 years) when we move again. Moving is so stressful, it is nice to have a good experience with movers, Thanks again, John and Nick!

These guys were GREAT. The price was much lower than others in the area. The movers were early, took care of all my furniture, and even showed respect by using my name when asking questions. Great guys! The manager is relatively quick on answering emails. Answers phone instantly. No issues on communication. The reason for -1 star: You pay for their time to depart from their depot to your house AND the time to return to their depot. Got charged an extra hour for that; I can expect to leave the depot, but returning too!!! I would use them again but negotiate that I shouldn't have to pay for the truck to return to the depot.

We consider ourselves very lucky working with Burloak Movers on our recent move early September. Brandon, Tom and Rob did great job and made the entire moving process easy and unstressful for us. We decided to go with Burloak Movers because their rate was lower than other moving companies around, but we were skeptical that the movers might not work efficiently and waste time to increase the cost. However, the three guys proved our thought was wrong. They were much quicker than we expected and did not waste any time. They also were very friendly and helpful on any additional wrapping or other works we asked them to do. I definitely recommend this company for anyone looking for a professional and easy moving.

We had a big move 5 bed house to another house and booked 2 trucks and 4 man crew. They finished in less time than quoted. The crew worked very hard but also very carefully carrying extremely heavy stuff up a curved staircase and no walls damaged. Impressive. There were a couple of issues, cosmetic stuff on a couple of items, and one very damaged item from the truck packing. This can happen in any move, but I was upset and vocalized it. One of the crew men told me not to worry, just talk to one of the owners (?) . I spoke with Elim (sp?) - he called me before I had a chance to call him! And then he rectified everything to my satisfaction without any hassle at all. I doubt other companies care about their customers satisfaction like Burloak Movers do. We will definitely use them in our next move!

Completely unimpressed by the attitude. Emailed for a estimate, arranged to have a rep to come by. I rush home. Shows up late! When I told him, you know your late? He high tailed it and walked away. No comment, no apology, nothing! If they can't keep an appointment, or explain themselves, best thing not to use them.

We recently moved from Oakville to Fergus. Burloak team were courteous, respectfull of both houses and did everyhting we requested and more. The whole project was professional done from estimate to final move. They went beyond what we exspected from a moving company. They moved a 5 bedroom house and the final bill was accurante almost to the dollar. We highly recommend their packing services. The staff never complained despite many challenges. We would definetly use them again. By far the most easy to deal with compared to other movers that we considered.

Our first experience of BurlOak Movers was meeting Emile when he came to give us a quote. He is a pleasant straight forward guy that made me feel comfortable from the start. We had bought a new home before ours was sold, and then subsequently sold our home six days after we had rented a temporary home. I hired Burloak movers after reading their good review. The agreement was they would charge me for 7 hours maximum. There would be no charge after 7 hours. Mover showed up on time. They wanted to make only one trip so they were trying to put as much item as possible in the truck. They asked me to use my VAN to help them out by taking some stuff in my VAN. I did help and put lots of stuff in my VAN but at the same time I told them that they have to make one more trip because there were lots of stuff still left in the house. One of the guy among them started to act so rude and clearly said that he didn't want to go over 7 hours. Although the destination was only 10 minutes of drive away. Anyway making long story short. They left lots of stuff in the house that I had to move at night and next day in the morning. They broke my daughter's dressing table. I called to complain next day; the owner said that he will come to have a look and will repair it. He never showed up.

BurlOak Movers had no hidden costs, and their prices were very reasonable. I have used Burloak Movers several times over the years for both personal and business moves. The staff (movers) are consistently polite, professional and always take the greatest of care with all of our belongings, personal or business. I have used them for short and long distance moves and their pricing continues to be extremely competitive. You hear horror stories of people being "scammed" or promises made and never kept in the moving business, its nice to know there is a place that you can call and continually get exactly what is promised and you will pay a fair price for superior service. They show up when they say they will with the right number of men and the right size of truck(s) for the job they have quoted on. Highly recommended for any move.

I googled and found Burloak movers over the Internet and I found the reviews on Burloak are good. After the onsite free quote and I decided go with Burloak. In the end I am very happy with my decision and service of Burloak mover. Three guys show up on time as promised, load and unload professionally. I love most is Burloak mover don't have minimum hours and have maximum hours. This mean it will not charge me more if it over the maximum hours. But if I willing to do some moving small items, it will go below the quoted price. You may trust Emil and his team. That is all I can share with people who is going to move.
