Hired Two Men and a Truck last weekend on very short notice for my mom's move. They were punctual and took great care of her stuff, wrapping everything. Excellent! I was wary of using a service (I had always moved myself before with friends helping), but it was so much better to just pay a reasonable price and get it done. Nobody hurts their back, nobody secretly hates you because they are obligated carry couches, etc :p Wish I had been using it years ago, hassle free!

Hard to get a hold off. Despite explaining that the job involves movie a 500 lb furnace into a basement the company sent 3 children who showed up almost three hours late and could not move the thing. I wasted a day off work and still have a furnace sitting in my yard.

Dealing with the head office CSR (Lucy) was also a pleasure. They are nice guys but incompetent movers - when they took my desk apart they damaged it so it could not be put back together again, plus they managed to lose one of my boxes. If you're going to hire them make sure you're watching over every step.

EVERYTHING WAS INCREDIBLE! Lucy was so friendly and informative when we needed to book our moving. She was quick and gave us a detailed estimate with all we asked for and no problems. On the move in day, we had three great guys (Ben, Brandon, and Craig!) They were the best! They were so funny and friendly. Working with them was as comfortable as asking your friends to help you but with all the professionalism of experts. Ben was amazing at packing our kitchen - NOT A SINGLE THING BROKE! The other two were careful and considerate moving all of our things. It took a bit longer with having to wait for the elevator and the long hallways but they really made the most of it! I have moved 4 times in the last 5 years and this has been by far the most fluid transition period I have had so far! My wife was actually present for the move and had nothing but great things to say about the movers themselves. There was only one piece of our stuff broken, which was a desk component, however, it seems like it was most likely broken by a resident of the apartment building we moved from, while it was waiting to be loaded on to the truck. Two Men and a Truck were more than willing to work towards a solution of getting the component replaced. I cannot be happier!

I’m definitely going to be following up with pictures so anyone reading this review can get a look at the absolutely phenomenal job these guys do. This was our first time hiring a packing company and we were somewhat wary as we’d read varying experiences with other companies in the city but I could not be happier with Two Men and a Truck. Their communication was excellent and they were flexible with booking dates and times. Even Lucy, the Admin. Assistant, was delightful to coordinate everything with. Upon arrival, they did a basic run-down of everything we’d want packed as well as what should be excluded, quoting how long the job would take. I then had to step out but had left my number just in case. I received one text with pictures regarding whether or not I’d wanted our dishes in the dishwasher packed which was appreciated as I hadn’t thought of this. When I returned, everything was very neatly boxed up and labelled and I don’t believe I’ve ever breathed a bigger sigh of relief. What would have taken days for us to accomplish while working around very busy schedules took them a total of four hours. Because of this incredibly professional company, the process couldn’t have been any easier and I will be recommending Two Men and a Truck to anyone who’s planning a move. 6/5 stars.

Great movers overall. Very responsive when calling for an appointment, price was exactly what was quoted (final price was less than quote because they used 1 less mover at the unload site so rates were exactly per quote) Only reason it is not 5 star rating is because there was one damaged item in the move. They did cover me for the damage, driver was very good and did paperwork however it took a couple months and me calling them a few times to resolve the claim. If the office had taken responsibility and resolved the claim in a timely manner this would be 5 star. In the end they did resolve it fairly.

Just to be clear, winning the coast award does not make the company who wins it any better than any other within the moving industry. The only companies who claim to win this paid for award is those companies that pay hundreds of dollars a month to buy an ad in the Coast magazine. You have to pay for an ad spending hundreds on an ad each month in the magazine to win Gold, Silver or Bronze. There are very few companies who advertise in the coast, so of course these companies will win a position every year. It absolutely has nothing to do with how good the particular company is, as you can clearly see by this company. Please do your research, not going by an award that is bought and oaid for.

In the past I always just found people through Kijiji but you get what you pay for. With Two Men & A Truck you get what you pay for in the best way possible. I felt useless as they did everything for me. The owner came to my house and did a free estimate. It was very close to my final bill and I had a big move. Quoted me approximately $650 for 3.5 hours - no big deal. Turns out there’s a $300 deposit for the truck and the move itself came out to around $1000. All in all, I moved a small apartment for double what they quoted - $1300. Take your money elsewhere or do it yourself. NOT WORTH IT.

Refused to move anything heavy on my apartment claiming I had bed bugs and only moved half of my stuff to my new apartment, then told the landlord we had bedbugs. I called ace pest control who did a full sweep of both places and found no trace of bedbugs. I had to live in a motel for the weekend and hire people from craglist to move the rest of my stuff because when I called and asked if they could move the rest after I had been cleared by a pest control company they REFUSED unless I paid them again! I asked if they cleaned their trucks and they said they didn't need to. So these guys lie to get out of work and take your money or they willing fill a truck with bedbugs and then not clean it. Don't ever call this scammers, they will take your money and laught at you when you try to get them to finish the job.

I was very pleased with their service. The booking process was professional, the billing was straightforward, the movers were pleasant and the price was reasonable. My mid-day move started 70 minutes later than scheduled (which probably is a common occurrence) however i was pleased to find out that the minimum move time for a mid-day move is 2.5 hours instead of the usual 3 which bumped the price down. I would use them again.

I left messages through Instagram and Facebook. I called and left messages with the operations manager and still noting. They left me hanging 2 days before I was set to move. Do not recommend.

I was ripped off years ago by you!!!! I was poor, so hired you to move from a women’s shelter to my 1st apt. You quoted one price before, then doubled it to get me out there!! All in cash. But, what I’ll never forget, is that my wedding dress never got to the other side. Nor did my leather cowboy hat! But, you drove off, with a leather cowboy hat on your front dash...that wasn’t there before! I’m still traumatized by what you did. It makes me sick to see you winning the Coast award, because that’s for people who have honesty & who care.

The moving crew might include some young people who are learning the ropes, but there is always an experienced person involved as well. My in-laws were also quite impressed with the guys on their end. I called Lucy on short notice needing the appliances moved due to a renovation and she was able to squeeze us in and couldn't of been happier with the service. The guys had no problem moving in the appliances although having tight quarters to work with and everything arrived in the same condition as when it left which was what I was concerned with.
