Like the fact that it is family owned. Professional contract with all costs outlined. Very professional and efficient movers, they were in and out in the timeframe quoted. Really liked the fact that you could rent boxes, saved lots of tim for me. Also liked the closet boxes, it made moving all clothing simple. I would use them again and highly recommend.

Mountaineer movers moved us from Mt Hope to Picton. They were fantastic. From the gentleman who came to estimate the job, to Wendy who saved the day with our appliances and finally the team with the truck. The piano moving team did a great job this week moving a piano that's very special to me. They were considerate to protect my floors and professional. They also honored the quote they gave me without issue. I definitely recommend them and will use them again if the occasion arises.

Once again did an excellent professional job moving my furniture. Movers were courteous and careful not to touch any walls or door frames. Used floor runners to protect hardwood floors & stairs. Had a very bad experience with this company. Driver AJ made my wife feel very uncomfortable. When my wife asked him to please not smoke beside the garage where our 3 year old would be walking he said whats the problem. He also tried to tell my wife that she needed to pay extra to have kids toys loaded on the truck. I would definitely look around for someone else. Paid 60cents a pound and definitely was very disappointed with service. Plus they picked up on July 17th originally drop off was suppose to be no more then a week our stuff ended up coming on August 4th. After they picked up our stuff they call us to tell us they cant deliver on the date that it was suppose to be.

I would not recommend or use these movers again. .the move itself was smooth until it came time to pay. They charged me an extra 1/2hour and then said it was for travelling time from their store to my house. .and this was even before they started loading any furniture. i can see paying for travelling time from one place to another after the truck has been loaded with furniture. .but not the other.. They never stated to me that the time started from the moment they left their store. .When i inquired about it.. they said they look into it and call me back. .of course that never happened. Poor customer service on their part.. Never again.. lesson learned...

They were the best overall, every person we dealt with was kind and very helpful. The movers Norm, Don & Greg, we so nice, professional and fast workers. If you're moving I highly recommend you use mountaineer movers. They have helped me out numerous times including a rather large move from Hamilton across the province and several pianos over the years. Everyone there is really nice, and very helpful. Sarah and Tom were great at getting everything set up for this last big move and the crew I had come in were fantastic, super friendly and very efficient. The price was great as well. Certainly much better than some other quotes I got. If you're not sure where to turn give them a call. I really appreciated the peace of mind this company afford me! Thanks again :)

Hired Moutaineer movers was pleased with the customer service and move went smoothly. Unfortunately, an item went missing and although the company said they would look into the matter nothing has been done and I have had no further contact from them, hence this review. Such a shame really. The company has since contacted me and paid restitution however I cannot in good faith recommend them as trustworthy movers.

Yesterday, Dave and John arrived within the specified time to help move some furniture from my Mother's home which has recently been sold, following her death in 2020. The move went very smoothly and both men were very polite and professional. Most of the furniture is over 50 years old and they took great care in protecting each piece. They did a wonderful job in setting up the vintage dining room furniture and sectional couch in my place of residence. They both showed compassion and empathy towards my emotions throughout our interaction, because the family home is being sold after 50+ years and there are so many wonderful memories attached to it. Thankfully, I have a little piece of Mom and Dad's furniture now, and it brings me much-needed comfort.
