We chose to work with Mountain Moving to move our family from Loretto, Ontario, to Moonstone, Ontario. The initial quote was very accurate, and there were no surprises on our bill. Their contract was very detailed and made it easy to know what to expect. The crew showed up when expected and remained polite, professional, and attentive for the duration of the move! I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking to lessen the stress that comes with moving. Thank you!

The guys did a good job with the actual move but scammed us for additional (fictional) interprovincial fees and refused to unload the truck until we paid up. Bad way to conduct business. Don't trust their quotes.

Terrible. We hired a mountain movers to move our house 45 minutes down the road. When they were unable to deliver our items (due to their what they say was poor weather), they tossed them into one of their (very) dirty, unheated, storage facilities (and charged us for it). In order to get our stuff back, they were going to charge us for another full move - with an 8 hour minimum. I tried to negotiate a lesser minimum, knowing it would be fewer hours, but they refused. Oh - and they actually wouldn't even try to deliver the items until they had a gap in their schedule. The one date they offered didn't work and we were out of luck. They also came in 50% higher than their quote. (and again, I still didn't have my belongings!)

Was moved seamlessly from one residence to another in June of 2017. They literally rolled out a red carpet to protect the flooring. Handled my furniture and items with great care. Wouldn't hesitate to refer Mountain Moving & Storage, they are professional, and reasonably priced.

The guys were great punctual it was pack it up and then unpack. One vase broken but it was my fault in the packing. They took furniture I did not want anymore and I was happy to pay it forward. Everyone has a story you just have to ask. Bit pricey but timely and organized. So that beat the price for me. I would use them again absolutely.

Worst moving company ever we’re extremely rude to My elderly parents which didn’t deserve the attitude from there lead hand caused Damage then when asked about it immediately denied it asked to speak to owner/ manager and we’re treated awfully. The lead hand called the office and was extremely offensive in what he had said . After speaking with the owner he agreed to have someone come out and look at the damage that was cause due to them Not using a dolly that was almost a month and a half ago and still haven’t sent anybody out to look at the damage but they sure weren’t long cashing there cheque! Would not recommend this company to anybody and especially any elderly people as that do not care !!!!!

Complete lack of integrity Quoted at $1800 got bill for $3000 once trucks were loaded Damaged hot tub on first move in November going into their storage didn't know about it until June the day we were moving into the new house. Spoke with owner, didn't listen to anything I had to say. He just kept trashing other moving companies and telling me how great they were. The actual moving guys were professional and efficient the owner needs to work on his customer service and quoting

They were very helpful on the phone when i called. Answered all my questions. I emailed them a list of what i had to move. They didca one day turn aroundcin getting me back the quote. The only thing i wished is that they suggested they come to see my home so there would be no hidden cost the day of the move. I dont do this for a living and i may have under estimated what i have.

They said they would be there at 8:00 AM. They arrived at 7:55 AM. They never stopped working without complaint. Really "can do" folks. Not the cheapest but very likely the best. I always look for value and these folks certainly provide that. Thank for an effortless move!

Beware of their M.O.! Will give you a grossly low estimate, then charge much more, claiming they needed more trucks, more movers, more time, etc. Happened to us recently, and to an acquaintance previously. In response to owners' reply to above: I take exception to your implication that I have taken a negative attitude during these pandemic times. I work in healthcare and have done MUCH MORE to support the community than YOU, as a moving company, have and will ever do! As far as your low-ball estimate, your form was filled out completely and accurately (including a piano and a treadmill). It is your responsibility to ensure that your form reflects reality. Perhaps you should consider an actual visit to the premises to do an estimate. To bring up responsibility during the pandemic as a reply to my review is a disingenuous attempt to avoid it. It misappropriates the pandemic's seriousness.
