Edgemont Moving and Storage have been wonderful for both my family and my friends. I had Edgemont come and pack my house as I was going to put down new floors throughout the entire main level. They sent a professional packer and she brought all the supplies to get the job done right. Then the movers came and move everything upstairs. Once all the floors were done the movers came back and move everything back into place. It was a big job but Edgemont staff were so helpful and friendly, they made it easy. We recently used Edgemont Moving and Storage to move from downtown Vancouver to West Vancouver. We haven't moved in years and the amount of work involved seemed overwhelming. Based on a stellar recommendation from a family friend we hired Edgemont. They were terrific from the outset and made packing and the actual move as seamless as possible. They were professional throughout as well as understanding and supportive. They offered great value in terms of cost. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

With so many moving parts to a move, Edgemont Moving took the stress right out of the equation. They provided us with great moving tips beforehand, arrived on time and finished ahead of schedule. In past moves with other companies, they either showed up 8 hours late, didn't show up at all, or were reckless with our belongings. The three movers were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and respectful. We were downsizing from a large house to a storage facility. They did not rush the storing portion of the move and were accommodating by providing us easy access to those boxes we may need access to in the interim. We are looking forward to working with them in 7 months time when we move into our new home. I would highly recommend Edgemont Moving and Storage to those wanting an efficient, stress-free move done right.

Wonderful move experience. Unqualified recommendation. Moving from a home of 32 years is never easy. Moving from one Island to another makes things more complex (ferries, timing) and Covid adds a whole new dimension. But Edgemont Movers made it painless. Ali and the rest of the office staff provided great support before my move. While my kids and I did a lot of the pre-pack ourselves, their advance crew did a great job packing up my kitchen and clothes closets and took extra-special care wrapping and preparing my treasures (furniture, art, antiques) for the journey. The next day their moving crew packed up and moved it all - including a specimen Jade, a 10 foot cactus and a Benji - safely to my new home. The final bill was just under their projection with no hidden costs nor extra time charges. Thank You Edgemont Movers. You have my unqualified endorsement! ❤️

Friendly, on time and enthusiastic. We felt sorry for the movers as they seemed elderly men, perhaps not too strong, we had heavy appliances going into a home both up and down a flight of stairs. They dropped and damaged a new fridge on outdoors stairs. I would expect a bit more professionalism but perhaps this is not important in this industry. Anyway, move happened. We'll shop around a bit more diligently next time.

Even though my move was extremely small, basement suite to basement suite just a few minutes a part, I was treated with the same hard work, dedication, and attention to detail as I would have been had this been a huge move. We have used Edgemont Movers a few times and have always been impressed with their professionalism. We have found Edgemont employees to be trustworthy, diligent and frankly, very likeable. They are caring too. We a had minor incident (one glass frame on a degree broke) and it was immediately noted, pointed out to me and voluntarily replaced, all at the company's expense. Mike has now retired and will be missed especially seeing as he supported me when I thought Edgemont had lost two of my degrees. (I felt horrible. They hadn't. I had stored them in the back of my closet!) Lydia, in Accounting, is a treasure too. Grant the owner, has owned the business for 33 years and knows what he is doing. All employees are heavily screened for background checks/sobriety, etc...which is very important to know when you are basically inviting strangers into your home and asking them to lift, take, move or store your own personal belongings. Book early!! My guess is Edgemont Movers is the most popular moving company in the North Shore. They are in demand for a reason. (And no, I am not related to any employee.)

I referred my parents to Edgemont when they had a movie use their house for part of the production. We needed the flexibility to bring the household goods back after painting the interior of the house. They helped safetly pack up the house took everything to their secure storage and then returned the goods when the time was right. Thank you for looking after my parent so well.

I've used Edgemont Moving a number of times - both for my business and personally. For my business, Edgemont Moving has come to the rescue on a couple of our projects where we needed to move large unruly objects either up some stairs or into a house. I usually give little notice and David has always come to the rescue with a professional hard working crew and all of the right equipment. He has also moved our office and we regularily recommend his services to our clients that may need to move out of their home while we work on it. Those clients have become repeat customers and always say what a great experience they had. Personally Edgemont has moved me out of my own home The packing crew were outstanding and a great service to have (never move without this service - saves a lot of headaches!) The movers were very experienced and took the utmost care to box and cover all of the fragile and/or big items. They were personable, kind and hard working. It wasn't until I recently used Go Truck Go that I realized just how bad an experience we had had with Edgemont. We had asked for 3 people to help make the move go faster. Two of the three guys worked well but the third felt like a placeholder. The quote was under estimated and cost nearly double compared to Go Truck Go. Some of our furniture was damaged during the move which we pointed out at the time and asked for it to be repaired. It was only because of our persistence that they agreed. Oh, and they lost a piece of furniture (side table) that had to be taken away for repair. Edgemont to their credit did pay for a new item, although again it too a lot of pushing. In summary, Edgemont provided a poor experience for us. We felt as though we over paid. The team on the day were rough around the edges and seemed to hate their job. We will not be using them again.
