From our first communication with AMJ Campbell through to the last handshake with the movers, our experience with this team has been nothing short of amazing! Having gotten to the time in our lives where paying our friends with beer and pizza to move our stuff just didn't make sense anymore, we reached out to a few companies to quote our in-town move. Kyle came out armed with knowledge and a smile, and was patient with all of our questions. He outlined how the move day would look, what we needed to put in cartons, and what could remain out, and set our expectations for timelines and cost perfectly. There were no surprises on move day, the guys showed up just when expected, and worked their tails off to completion (in the rain no less). There were multiple times during the day where my husband and I said to each other... 'worth every penny'. Can't thank AMJ Campbell's team enough for taking what could easily have been the most stressful day of the season, and turning it into the easiest home transition we've ever experienced.

Absolute worst movers/packers we have ever used. We have moved almost a dozen times as a diplomatic family and our furniture survived until Campbell got their hands on it. We have dozens of claims to file with them. They literally just dumped items into boxes. A glass antique lamp was tossed into a box of hangers. Chairs are broken. Dressers dented and damaged. They put our lawnmower on top of our couch!! This stained our couch with oil. ZERO STARS. Do not use this company. Photos only represent a tiny fraction of the damage they caused. No response when we called our "coordinator". Additionally the packers took 4 days to pack our home and left at lunch time each day!! Ridiculous. And still could not manage to care one bit about our belongings.

The rep was very nice. He promised me the moon. They were supposed to take my things straight from the house and straight into the truck and move them. They did not. been loaded and unloaded it multiple times including antiques they did not pack properly. The Antiques were seriously damaged. I took insurance. They tried to repair them when we got to Scottsdale but unfortunately would not compensate for the loss of value after the repair. They damaged almost one thing out of every box. The only boxes that did not have damage were the ones I packed personally. When I contacted the rep multiple times after he ignored me. They totally left it to the insurance company you did not compensate fully. I would never hire this company again. Amazingly BAD PACKERS and NOT HONORABLE TO INSURANCE . NOT ON SAD TIME.

The actual move took way less time than I was worried it would, thanks to the efficiency of the movers. The free boxes didn't suck either. I'll always go for the four-guy option from now on. Had to replace one item and repair another. According to the claim which was denied, they are not responsible because they did not pack or unpack the boxes. Let that sink in and think about that for a second. Think about what that implies. And it's not like I am trying to make $200 here after paying them like 3 grand. They know what they are doing. They get you to sign a waiver before you receive your product so that when they damage your house upon delivery, they can wash their hands and not be liable. Unfortunately for Bad Boys, I won't be getting product from them in the future since they use this carrier for deliveries. When all was said and done, I had a door handle ripped from my brand new barn door, the door stopper broke and all they could say was: "We have it on picture documented... bye". If ever you have to deal with this company, return your product or suffer the consequences.

Wonderful service! The packers came the day before at the appointed time. The next day the movers came a bit early and had the the three-bedroom house emptied in a little over an hour. Then they had my things moved into my new apartment within two hours. A few days later they removed all the boxes that had been used in the move. Excellent experience in every way!

Hello I'm writing to you on behalf of my mother. Bad Boys use this company for delivery. After 5 months of waiting for her couches because that's how long it takes Bad boys. She had a delivery for two couches upon delivery the movers told her that they thought it was going to be too small small of an elevator to have it moved up to her apartment they left the couches there for her one outside in the snow, one couches outside in front of her elevator in the lobby . The report you have will tell you that she didn't want to sign the for damages. The delivery person told her that he would take them back with him because she was refusing "delivery" my mother would no be lying when she told me that the man got in her face with a confrontational attitude .the building's janitor was there as well and he put the elevator in a locked position with a key to keep the doors open so they were able to do it still they refuse to do it. she pay for delivery service she didn't have that service done my husband and I were able to do it I'm a small women 4.8 and I broke my wrist this summer we had it done we got her sofas into her apartment without being movers without being professionals "who claimed to be able and paid for " There's no damage to the building she lives in no damage to the hall or elevator. I believe the delivery person's should have been be able aren't they professionals after all aren't they being paid to know that a door is this wide and a elevator is big for them to be able to move a sofa. That building's have services elevator's.. because he didn't know until my mother pointed out that this was a services elevator because they were trying to stuff it in the small one . I think they saw the building she lived in an assumed she was poor they assumed she was dirty or on welfare..she's not she works she pays her own bills how disrespectful.... she didn't deserve to be treated like that The anger I feel because she had to deal with such disrespectful man they need better training or a different job with no people interaction.

Movers were very good. Good comradery with the guys. Team lead had a good sense of humour and adjusted to circumstances quickly. No issues with the move. No major issues with the packers but got the sense they finished to early and didn’t quite finish the job. 3 car loads post move says something wasn’t right. Overall a great experience.

DO NOT USE THEM FOR YOUR MOVE! We went with AMJ because the salesman was very thorough and knowledgeable but when our move date came, they arrived 1 hour late and it went from bad to worse as the day progressed. I received an email from the Ops Manager the day before advising the team would arrive between 8:30 and 9am the next day and by 9:30 when they hadn’t arrived I sent an email to ask where they were only for him to respond that they were 10 minutes away. Some of the team arrived at 9:45, 2 came in their own vehicles, didn’t introduce themselves and proceeded to walk through the house with their snow-covered boots on surveying what needed to be done. Another 10 minutes later the truck arrived and the supervisor showed up and again, no intro, he just walked through the house with his boots on asking “what was included in the move”. They proceeded to put 1 runner down the hallway and 1 halfway through the kitchen, but nothing on the basement stairs, so by the end of the basement clearing the paint was worn off the stairs. No runner was put down on the floor in the basement, so that floor was water and salt stained to the point that it was white! There was no runner put down on the hardwood in the living room or family room floors, resulting in copious amounts of water and salt stains all over the floors – the same result occurred upstairs, they put a runner on the stairs but nothing in the bedroom on the hardwood so the floor was covered in salt stains and water. When it was time to leave, they rolled the runners up shaking the salt and water onto the floor and the walls instead of taking them outside. It took 5 hours to clean JUST the floors!! Upon arrival at our new home it was the same treatment, minimal runners were laid down the floors at our new home were just as bad as the other house – these men didn’t even care, they took no regard for anything being damaged. They broke the side off of my desk as well there was salt stains on my brand new headboard and bedroom furniture and the mattresses were dragged through the water and salt on the truck resulting in water all over the outside of the plastic wrap that ended up on the mattresses when they unwrapped them as well they leaned the wet plastic wrapped mattresses on the freshly painted walls and salt stained water marks were visible down the walls and needed to be repainted. There were salt stains on every piece of furniture as well as scratches on bookcases. They really didn’t care. At the time of the estimate it had been indicated on the work order that it was a bulky shipment, however they only sent 1 straight truck, where they had indicated 2 straight trucks or tractor trailer, they jammed everything into one truck and as a result things were not cared for!!! I chose AMJ Campbell because I was assured the team was professional. The quote wasn’t the cheapest and I trusted that our items would be cared for but this wasn’t the case. The men themselves were friendly but they really didn’t care for our items with no regard for quality. When it came time for them to leave, the supervisor Tom wasn’t interested in any issues that I tried to express, he just wanted to get paid. Completely unacceptable. The claim process was just as bad. They just wanted it over, there was no regard for the unprofessionalism we experienced or the effort it took us to clean everything. They were apologetic at first but then when it came time to take responsibility they didn't. It took them over 2 months to respond and in the end gave us a measly $525.00. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

My local move with AMJ Campbell went extremely well, just like the previous times I had used them. Syd, Harnold, and Corinna worked fast, hard, and kept things running ahead of schedule. I was particularly impressed by how they managed to move awkward furniture with having to disassemble anything. Great service both when booking and with the movers themselves. The movers took care with our items, protecting furniture and mattresses, and they put down carpets to not damage our floors. The move took exactly the same time as was quoted which was nice as you hear of companies charging extra. The price was lower than a few other local companies as was the time estimate. All the floors were protected no damage was done to the homes. I had a lot of loose stuff in my garage and they supplied me with boxes (for free) and helped me pack it all up. Aug 2021 Disappointed with my recent move. Foreman was rude and non-cooperative, cursed constantly and pretended not to hear requests. The crew seemed to take excessive breaks. Significant damage to areas of the home, pieces of furniture and household items. Items were left at incorrect locations. The crew left garbage behind. Definitely not worth the high cost. After tremendous effort, I was able to get a tiny partial refund.

Packed up my stuff fast and efficiently, loaded it up, and got told it would be delivered in "a couple days". I just released from the army, its been a week, and they still haven't called me to arrange a dropoff (I moved 2 hours away from where my stuff was packed). I was treated rudely on the phone when I asked for a time estimate as to when my stuff would be delivered, and was told to stop calling to ask. They said they don't deliver on weekends and that they call the day before they want to drop stuff off, but at this time (6:00PM Thursday) still no call, which means I probably won't have any of my things until some time next week. I need to go to job interviews and start working, I shouldn't have to be waiting by the phone a full week later hoping my stuff MIGHT arrive soon. Never going to use this moving company again.

AMJ Campbell has taken of my move in 2012 and I recently used them to move furniture in order to be able to begin renovations. Luc has been extremely helpful and courteous throughout all my moves. I even had the same movers this time as I did back in 2012 and they were great. In 2012, they packed up my house and everything has been in storage since. They will be moving my belongings from storage into my new home once the renovations have been completed. We intend calling them for our next renovation, changing the carpets out in the staircase and the upper floor to hardwood. But that's for another year! I would definitely recommend them.

It was necessary to have professional movers because furniture could not be dragged across the floor after it was finished. AMJ supplied the team of Serge and Simon who did an excellent job. I used AMJ for my local move last month. AMJ provided all the boxes I needed for the move at no charge. It was a little difficult getting the boxes as I had to meet someone at a side door at their warehouse but in the end it saved me a good chunk of change. They arrived late but brought at extra man to compensate for the delay. The driver actually told me he could have just said "Sorry" but thought I would rather have the move done quicker and cost less instead. He was right! The crew unloaded the old house remarkable quickly and didn't scratch a thing. We had a fully furnished 1800 sq ft town house which they loaded into the truck in a little over 2 hours. They also stopped at a storage facility to pickup a few things. Unloading the truck was done just as quickly and everything was placed in the rooms I asked or the boxes were labelled for.

Move appeared to go well. Most furniture in relatively good condition. But, legs snapped off antique sofa. After 3+ months, finally told how much it would cost to repair it - and that their repair person thinks he would be able to fix it. Devalued the set of furniture with such extensive work. Trying to get compensation as result is a very painful process. If you value your furniture and have old pieces DO NOT use this company as their after move service is horrible.

We are writing this now to let the mover beware. We hired them because they were a bigger company and thought their salesman seemed fine and helpful. The salesperson, and what we actually got were a lot different than we expected. They did a local move for us, 35 km, back in the Fall. We packed everything except the two clothes closets. It's hard to say where to start with this one because what should have been a stress-free simple move turned out to be very stressful. One worker was very surly and in my face. He didn't like when I asked him if they would put on masks when entering my home! They finally did. After that it went downhill for us. The guy was kind of intimidating and they kept telling us they were professional and to stay out of their way, which we did, but they were not professional. We felt too intimidated after the initial confrontation at the door and comments from that guy to say much to the workers. They damaged the front door trim by banging furniture into it. They did fix it before they left (thank God since the house was sold to someone else) but also told us it was because our house was old and that's why it broke. The truck was not clean. The guy was sweeping all the dirt and broken glass to the back of the truck just after they pulled up. We had been told that all the trucks were cleaned daily. The runners they put down on our floors were filthy and covered in hair and dust from other peoples' houses. The blankets they used to cover our clean furniture were filthy also and stained. We were told that all the blankets would be clean. We were told that wardrobe boxes would be included in the move. We thought, great, that will help. They insisted on packing those wardrobe boxes and didn't want us around while they did that. The boxes (2) were dirty and used!! When we went to unpack, they had labels on them from other peoples' moves (some guy in Montreal and someone else) and were obviously reused for our clean clothes! If we had known they were going to provide USED wardrobe boxes, we would have bought our own and packed them ourselves! Beware of that! In the age of bedbugs, fleas, and cockroaches, the last thing we wanted was our clean clothes thrown into a used box. My clothes were just dumped in the bottom of the box because the metal hanger was bent from use and didn't work. They forgot our large microwave so we had to move it ourselves. We didn't notice that until after they had left. At the other end, one of the couch legs was missing and they tried to tell us that we must have taken it off ourselves! It turned out it had been jammed up into the lining of the couch during the move! We had bought all new boxes for the move. They didn't handle our furniture very carefully and some of the boxes were beat up a bit and dirty with one or two with holes in them. There was no checking of whether all boxes were delivered or anything like that. They wouldn't even let us look in the truck to see. They seemed in a hurry to finish and, quite frankly, we were glad to see them leave. What could have been a good thing turned out to be really upsetting. We didn't expect perfect, but this was expensive and not at all what we expected from a company that has been in business so long. We contacted the company and basically they focussed on the face mask issue and nothing else. We did not feel that they really cared about anything else we mentioned. We would not recommend this company.

Moved from Ottawa to Toronto. Loading was terrible - luckily only a side table was broken, despite multiple crushed boxes, a mirror that was loaded without any packaging/covering at all, and an expensive piece of art that was just wrapped in a dirty blanket. The movers unpacking in Toronto were shocked and told me they had never seen such a poor, unprofessional job. I wrote an email to head of operations 2 weeks ago, and have yet to hear anything. If you care about your possessions, I would stay away from this company.

The easiest way I can say this is DON'T hire them. They broke my grandma's cabinet because they were too lazy to wrap it up or pack it. I tried begging them to be careful, and literally watched as they smashed it against the walls. Moreover, many others were broken as well. I bought the insurance package, and even though the move happened in August, it is now October and they still haven't followed up.

I was referred to AMJ Campbell by my realtor. They were excellent. I wasn't fully ready on moving day as my back went out. They couldn't have been nicer. I had a meltdown when they arrived. They took it in stride and showed compassion and a sense of humour. They provided extra boxes and took care with the paintings on the wall. At the other end, they told me just to stay put and direct where everything was to go. The assembled my lazy boy couch, chair and bedroom furniture quickly and efficiently. I would use them again if I ever have to move and have recommended them to others. They were very professional.

Arrive half hour early for appointment to deliver, takes 2 hours to back up at dock, and hours to unload. This place is disorganized and the yard and warehouse match. A complaint will be made to our customer and we should find another place to do business.

I moved from Alberta to Ontario and AMJ Ottawa unloaded my belongings to my new residence. My things were safely kept for almost 2 months in their warehouse. I received all my belongings back and nothing was damaged. The movers worked well with me to make sure I received all my belongings. They would tell me the tag number of every item so that we could make sure I received everything before they left. They arrived on time, unloaded everything within reasonable time and in a professional manner. I am very pleased with the service received!

Day 1. Unload, not only they are late for 6hrs they brought wrong customer's container box. 6hrs waiting without receiving any updates from the company is unacceptable in my opinion. Day 2. Unpack, Very unprofessional, workers are very rude can can't get them to do anything. I had to call head office to their boss several times I ordered for me get things going. Workers doesn't even know their areas of responsibilities. So I had show them the prof on my booklet for the service that I need to get.

The moving team arrived a little earlier than scheduled. They are very friendly and professional. Runners were placed on the carpet. It is amazing to see how quickly they moved the many boxes I have packed. Also I am so glad that they can fit into a one bedroom apartment. I was given an estimate by Kevin and at the end no surprises. Thanks to Syd's team and Kevin. My daughter recommends AMJ as she moved about 2 years ago.
