This tight team of upbeat & happy guys made our move SO much easier by treating our heavy & complicated furniture as if it was their own! Careful, experienced, fast...all I did was point to things, and it was done. I had to change the entire strategy since my meeting with the team leader...items & locations had changed on moving day - no worries, he gave me a very fair quote, and flowed easily with the changes. This family business does the job with care and gusto!

Wanted to charge $6500 to move a 4 Bdrm home then refused to refund the deposit when I cancelled more than 30 days in advance! Charging more double what other companies are! This is sad because I used them before and they're prices have gotten unaffordable.

I can't say enough good things about Aleks Moving. From arriving on time at 08:00 AM, being respectful of both, our property as well as us, they were nothing but fantastic. I am a stickler for getting things done right and usually get irritated easily and I must say I was cool as a cucumber all day through the move. Blendi (the driver) and his crew made everything seem easy for us. Didn't allow my wife or myself to move anything even at the destination and insisted on helping us position our furniture etc. It was a super hot day and they worked nonstop to get it done before 4pm even though they had to make a second trip. They took pretty much everything, including stuff other movers had refused to carry. I highly recommend Aleks movers. It was such a breath of fresh air to deal with them.

We had some serious issues with Alexs Moving. First the pro's they arrived on time and stayed to the qouted price. Now the Con's: I can't begin to tell you how disrespectful of our stuff they were. They bring blankets but not one was used in the moving of our things, they laid in a pile beside the truck. The communication between Alex and the crew was non-existant. I had to repeatedly tell them what wasn't being moved because it had been sold, even then some of it ended up moved anyway. We were informed they wouldn't move, clothes hanging in the closet, propane tanks or empty gasoline containers. We were not informed of this ahead of time, only on the day of move. Speed is of vital importance to this company. I can't tell you the amount of times I heard the words, faster, faster or hurry up. Unfortunately the downside to this is that your belongings are not well cared for in the process. When I asked how our big house was going to fit in that truck, I was told "We'll make it fit" and that they did! When the truck was jammed packed to the brim and the door wouldn't close, Alex took to physically kicking one of our 16 ft umbrellas to jam it under the back door of the truck. In the process he bent the umbrella and our other one. Our glass table and bookshelf are both chipped and scratched, and although they did disassemble some things, others they said they would were not done. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone, they have a slick salesman with some good promotional videos, but the product portrayed is not what you get on moving day. Since originally publishing this review, owners have come and rectified the situation to the best of their ability.

We are very grateful for the way they handled our situation and pleased at how hard working and professional they were. Their genuine concern for our well being is not something you see everyday anymore... it was and still is very much appreciated. We would definitely recommend this team of movers!

Terrible experience! I got a quote from Aleks ($600 for a small 1 bedroom) and was told they would show up at noon that weekend. 3 strange men whom I've never met showed up at 9am and I told them to come back at noon which they refused. While I was getting dressed 1 of the men walked in on me and just laughed. They emptied my apartment out within 30 minutes and in the process breaking quite a few items. When arriving at my new place they threw boxes into one room including heavy boxes on top of fragile boxes breaking more items. All of the sudden Aleks shows up and asks for money. I was almost in tears because of the amount of things that were broken and asked for him to reimburse for the broken glass table, etc. He shrugged it off and said that they were old and already broken (the table was 2 years old and my flat screen was only 3 years old) I was also missing a few items and when I asked about them he said they didn't exist. He then insisted I paid him $690 NOT $600 like he said. I didn't have a written agreement with him because when he came to my house for the quote we shook hands on it. I think I trusted him because when I told him that my husband serves in the military and he was currently away from home he said he respected military members. I just gave the greedy bastard the $690 because I wanted him out of my house. Since I saw you recently responded to me I'll address you in this comment. YES I did tell you all of these issues. You moved me in February of 2015 (Superbowl weekend), sound familiar? . I did tell you one of the movers walked in on me changing and you just laughed and said "yeah, that was my dad" I also told you about all the broken items and you dismissed it treated me like garbage. My friend contacted you by phone to discuss these issues and you were very condescending towards her. Completely disgraceful. You should be ashamed of yourself. The only reason I waited so long to write this review was because I wanted to wait until I moved from Windsor because I was so intimidated by you.

My wife and I used Aleks moving for a recent move in Toronto from a downtown condo into a 4 story townhouse. The move was challenging and the furniture very difficult to get up all the stairs. Aleks executed this perfectly - no damage, done timely, with a few jokes and a smile. There were no suprises with cost and they even brought in additional help to get the job done. I’ve moved across country and to the US on many occasions and never have I received the quality of service or attention to detail that this group brought to the table. A family run business only concerned with sharing value for the money you pay. I would recommend Aleks to any and all for your future moving needs. Overall they are excellent!

Omg I absolutely HATE moving! But, my husband and I just bought our first house so clearly it was a necessity, and there was no getting around it LOL. I contacted a few different companies and wasn't at ALL impressed with the initial impressions. The various people I spoke to were either rude or indifferent, and just pretty much couldn't be bothered...it was like they didn't even want the business. But then, when I called Aleks Moving company, I was greeted by THE most friendly person who was eager to help and even came out to do a FREE estimate!! So, we booked with them, and then on our closing day we had issues with ERCA that delayed said closing, and, in turn, our move. I was able to reschedule (twice actually) with no issues, no penalty, and (best of all) NO ATTITUDE!! Only friendliness and well wishes on getting our issue straightened out. Then the moving day came (Thursday, March 26th) and Aleks Moving made the entire process COMPLETELY pain free, and - might I say - enjoyable?? The people who moved me and my husband to our new home were super friendly, incredibly personable, and had me in stitches laughing the whole time. The process was quick, easy, everything was handled with extreme care, and...let me tell you...IT WAS WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY!! I will be recommending them to EVERYONE I know, and will never go with anyone else should I have to move again. THANKS ALEKS MOVING!!

They were very nice and professional. I needed them to move an elepticle from an office to a garage and They gave me a good price. They are in a good mood , very polite , quick and super friendly with my whinning toddler. They also helped with a bit more because I am pregnant and they didnt want me to force on anything. I will definitly call them again once our renos are done to help us again !!!
