I seriously cannot thank Two Small Men With Big Hearts Moving enough for doing our move. Andrew P., Jesse, Alex, and Matt were our guys. We had two movers for the loading and then three for the unloading. All told, it took them eleven hours. We had a LOT of boxes and some heavy furniture in awkward places so they had their work cut out for them! This was the first time my husband and I have ever used movers and we've heard so many horror stories about movers damaging things and price gouging. I was so nervous about how our move was going to play out. But it turns out that I didn't need to worry at all. The crew was super professional, punctual, and great with our stuff! They even said hello to our dog, Joanie, to help her feel more comfortable. My husband and I recommend them for any packing and moving you need to do!

Not sure why this company has such great reviews. Maybe good for local moves, but I had a bad experience with a long distance move within Canada. They used Collins Mehling Transfer as their shipper - just check out the Google Reviews for them. Seems like there are NO good moving companies to deal with. I did quite a bit of searching around before settling with Two Smell Men, and even still, despite these good Google Reviews, had a bad experience (late delivery, poor communication, etc.).

I can't say enough about how great this moving company is. From the start, Shawn was the most helpful, nicest coordinator answering all my questions quickly. The mover guys themselves (Dwayne, Ryan and Adeolu) were phenomenal as well. They took care of everything that I was worried about, even before I realized I was worried! From wrapping and protecting all the important furniture, working super fast and efficient to simply lowering my stress levels by being so cool and happy - honestly it was the best and easiest move I have ever made. This company was at my building the other day not wearing masks. You're supposed to be using masks in the common areas of buildings, I would think that knowing this would be part of the job, never mind the fact that this is a job that goes from place to place with a lot of contact and is in prime position to facilitate spread of a transmittable disease. Had Wilson, Sean and Will help move us from London to a small town about an hour away. They were incredibly professional, fast and followed covid guidelines. I can't recommend them enough. They helped take apart our sectional when they arrived which not all moving companies will do. They wrapped our furniture to protect them during the move as well. Organizing the move was easy as well with the online form and phone call follow ups leading up to moving day.

From booking the appointment to the final handshake after the move, everything was handled with the professionalism and polish that you would expect from this brand. The gentleman I dealt with over the phone, Joe, was friendly and courteous. This was the first move I have ever paid for. He was very good at explaining the policies and conditions of the move and making it feel more like a conversation instead of just exposition. Everything was handled and tailored to my needs. For instance, I could not start the move on the hour because I had to drop the kids to school in the morning, so they tailored this start time to suit my availability. Little things like that mean so much! If the booking was any indication of how the move was going to go, it was going to be a great experience -- and it was! Once it came to moving day, I met with Don and his team. Everyone was very personable and went to great lengths to make sure I was comfortable. Again, the little things mean a big deal in a move. They were polite and any personal problems or attitudes that you would associate with movers (as is the stigma) were not present here at all. Not only was everything handled with all the care and empathy that you would want, but they worked great together as a team, and that is truly hard to find. Now I sit and think about it, they treated me like family and that was truly beyond my expectations! No move is without its problems and challenges. Turns out the place I was moving to only had one elevator which the property owner was aggressively insisting to not put the elevator on service! This could have easily been used by the hired movers to increase the move time ergo increase their final pay. This was not the case at all. Don professionally communicated with the property owner, came to an mutual agreement for how the rest of the move will be completed and it was done in record time! They did not even take a break! There is no way any other company would have handled these challenges with the professionalism, care and teamwork that Two Small Men With Big Hearts did that day. I wanted to move again just to have that experience. They are highly recommended!

Great experience! We were moving out of a two bedroom apartment with lots of pine (ie softwood) furniture and a large TV, and nothing was damaged as they were wrapped with cloth and moved very carefully! We had packed everything into boxes beforehand to save time, and had family members helping with bringing boxes to the elevators. The two men helping us move were very hardworking and the move ended up being only 4 hours or so in total. We got some quotes from several companies beforehand and this one ended up being in a slightly higher range, but we wanted a company we could trust and we were very happy with the service!

I don't normally complain like this regarding companies however this needs be reported. I was given a quote for All my belongings in my home including all the outdoor items shed tools BBQ etc.. 30-50 boxes and all the furniture indoors which also needed to be disassembled. The quote was 5 hours.(I have multiple disabilities and didn't think I could would get help. As it turned out I had a few friends one who rented a van on his own from Sat until Wed that week every day he took things out to move to the new home.He made at least 20 trips.My other friend made 4 trips with her car and mine was loaded by friends to take over.Very many trips. Everything was disassembled and taken apart with exception of the dining room table. All electronics were taken every box the home was taken all outside taken and all the smaller things were taken then the home was fully made prepared for the two young men moving it so there was just LARGE furniture left. Not only were these men slow but they were sloppy and did not give regard for my belongings. As a result much of my furniture was heavily soiled and damaged. Each time a piece came in damaged I got more and more upset. The move was stressful enough. They took over the 5 hours and had they had everything quoted it would have taken them 2 days to move everything. At the end they wanted me to sign off and pay and I was not made aware that I was signing a damage wavier as he was RUSHING me and I was upset "Can you hurry I have my mothers birthday part to go to" He rushed me and I wanted to add some comments.I was NOT made aware I was signing a damage waiver you got me!! I feel I sign that waiver not realizing what it was further more they damaged my custom made leather couch and chair. Headboards were soiled and damaged dining room chairs damaged glass coffee table has several scratches in it.Night table. When Dan came he did a report and said he could give me $500 dollars that is what I heard and told my family. I was upset and said I wasn't taking the check and he left. He did say my insurance company would cover the damage which I was not aware of. He said he would do up the report and email it to me.The insurance was called. I did not even have an invoice or any record for days later and the paper work til weeks later stating I was getting 60 cents a pound for the damage. I will also say that they were not moving in a safe way they were asked to take their shoes off as all the carpets had been cleaned and when asked about mats they stated"They are in the back of the truck. When they retrieved them they just threw them down the stairs not placing them safely and they could have fallen."We have done this a few times" but even I had trouble walking on them and found it dangerous. They also had no tools for the dining tale when I asked Dan he stated"Why did they need tools if you took everything apart"? I said for the dining table By giving them a one star is too much. This was by far the worst move and the worst experience I have ever had and I have had other movers that did a much better job but went by the ratings which in my opinion are carefully selected to make this company look good. I would not recommend this company to any of my friends and I hope you don't either. People like this have to be accountable for the performance of their workers and take pride in the company. The worst moving experience ever, I would give zero stars, if that was an option. So here how my moving story goes. I contacted them a week in advance, telling them we are moving out of a 4 story town-house to a condo! We packed all our stuff in boxes (books, fragile) and garbage bags (clothing, bulky stuff and ...). I took a picture of everything and sent it to them. I told them that a bunch of big item (like our beds and an office desk) are not leaving the house, and just need to be moved to the den for later removal. They told us to book the freight elevator in the condo for 12-3. They came in the day of, and started nagging about how we packed and we might be late. 1 pm and they were still half way trough! They said they asked the company to send extra movers but in the mean time we should help as well if we want to make it! 3 of us started helping, and 2 pm they are still not done! I told them to just leave the rest so we can make it to the elevator and told them just grab the hanging cloths and go! They said, oops, the box ward robes are in the back of the truck and they cannot access it. the 2 other crews joined in the destination with only half an hour left of the booked elevator! They said "we don't mind if you help too!!!" and every single time expected us to move the bags from the elevator to our unit ourselves! They were extremely rude, constantly talking behind our back, right infront of us! "That is not how you pack", "Yeah I know, that is just common sense"! right into our face!!! Then it came 3:15 and the next tenants needed the elevator! They said, well we can't do anything else but we are on the clock! I told them in that case lets go back to my town house and grab the rest of the stuff! they said, we will lose our spot here, but nobody else was planned to come. They grudgingly agreed to come back on my car to move the rest of the stuff at least to the den so I can move it myself! They nagged every single step they took! They brought lots of stuff in but did not assemble! I had lots of arguments with the leader of the team! The next day, I contacted the company and complained. The lady on the phone told me that she will pass my concerns but cannot do more. I said I want to talk to the manager! Turns out, the manager was the same leader that did not move a finger and was nagging the whole time! The mother company said branches are independent so nothing they could do. I ended up asking a friend with a truck to come and help me move the remaining stuff the next day. This experience could not be anymore horrible and more stressful. Do not, do not use these guys! Even if they are the last crew available in town and you have to pay an extra month of rent, it is just not worth it!!!

The company sent a crew of 3 very friendly and hardworking men who completed the job in 8 hours flat (from one 3 bedroom townhome to another 15 minutes away). The movers were very considerate and notified us of boxes that we had packed unsafely and assisted us in making sure everything was packed to minimize damage. Nothing was damaged in the move, and the movers also disassembled and re-assembled our beds. I highly recommended this moving company!

HUGE SCAM!! My husband and I used this moving company to move out of our tiny one bedroom apartment. During the initial call, we gave them all the information they asked for in order to conduct their estimate (how many boxes, how much furniture, distance to new home). They quoted us $575. Then, on the day of the move, the two young gentleman helping did a fantastic job getting everything into the truck in a timely fashion (which they even said was an easy task as we didn’t have much stuff). Note, we did purchase 1 small couch (a bit bigger than a loveseat plus ottoman) the day before the move, so they did warn us that would be tacked onto the price. We thought, no big deal. After getting lost and arriving at the new house over an hour late (which we didn’t fault them for, we directed them over the phone and it is a new build home that was not on the map), the guys unloaded everything with ease. (Keep in mind, this truck was FAR FROM FULL and it did not take long to unload, not to mention my husband helped do half the work.) We were then given the bill; it was not the $575 we had been quoted -IT WAS OVER $980 in change!!!! When I asked the guys why it had increased in price so drastically, they said they didn’t know and that they were just following orders of the bill given by their boss. When I tried to call and dispute, I was given the runaround. “Two Small Men with Big Hearts???” NO, It should be called “Two Small Men with Big Pockets.” I’ve never been so scammed in my life. Simply disgusting. Don’t use this company. Severely disappointed at the money-grab here, and still in shock at how we were duped into paying almost double what we were quoted.

Worst experience ever. I was quoted a flat rate for the first four hours, then extra every hour after that. When the bill came it was almost $300 more than the quote. (The math was cleverly adjusted to make the bill more expensive.) The movers were an hour early and became irritated that i had trouble getting the elevator secured. It was the first of the month, after all. The two workers were useless (i moved more of my stuff than they did) They threw all my stuff into a pile on the truck (as of yet only a few things broke.) The truck used broke down and i was billed for the hour that these two idiots stood around taking pictures and making phone calls. And lastly i found out that one of the boxes of my possessions that they used to prop a door open at my old place was knowingly forgotten and left behind, with no intent on retrieving it or even letting me know it was left. The main guy, "Dave," was rude and ran my credit card without my permission, after it was origionally agreed that i was paying cash. They should change their name to "Two Useless Idiots and a Shady Company." Should have done the move myself and saved a grand. Stay far away from this scam of a company.

We hired Two Small Men With Big Hearts to move into our new home from our downtown condo. In fact, we managed to book them the day before they shut down for the Christmas holidays. Although we went several hours over the estimated time, they were dedicated to the job and worked as long as they needed until we were fully moved in. Bed Bug Alert Just used these guys for a second move. As with the first one, the movers themselves were excellent. Very efficient, courteous, and took great care with all of our belongings. The problem is with the owner. Let me backtrack: we moved from a brand new home (never lived in before us) to a fully gutted and renovated home. Two days after moving in, we found two different bed bugs crawling on the carpet in seperate rooms. We've never had bed bugs, in any capacity, ever. We phoned the moving company to let them know, and were informed that they don't in fact wash their moving blankets between every move, and they used a bunch of moving blankets on our things. We decided to leave it at that, having found no more bed bugs. Two weeks later, there are more. Upon calling the moving company again, and informing them of this problem, the owner, Dan, very cavalierly informed us that he was not covering the cost of fumigation, as it "couldn't be from his trucks or blankets." We argued, with no resolution. Dan then showed up on our doorstep, insisting we let him on the property to inspect the home, and when we refused, he began accusing us of extortion (lol, come on Dan). Suffice to say, we are now paying $1000 for fumigation, and Dan is refusing to even admit it MIGHT HAVE been from his blankets/truck (it clearly was). The pest control gentleman further confirmed this after inspection, because he could find no evidence of long term bed bug infestation in either the home or any of our belongings. Just a caution to anyone looking for movers. If you don't want bed bugs, and you want an owner who actually takes responsibility for issues that may arise involving his company, I would think twice before hiring Two Small Men With Big Hearts.

AWE INSPIRING! SO NICE AND SO EASY! Right from the early phone call this company made this an easy move. Dan and James were the men who did the actual move for me today. I am so grateful to them for the great job they did. It was a pig hot day and we were moving from a house with many stairs to another with many stairs. Plus my spouse had 46 boxes of books! The guys were nice although I would have expected face masks would have been worn and they were not. They came late, but maybe only fashionably so (15 minutes) but still late. Only about 5 things got damaged, 2 are fixable, one is permanently going to be noticable and one thing will cost about 600 to fix (180 year old dining table). The couple holes in the week old couch were probably going to happen sooner or later and now I dont have to be mad at the cat if she starts scratching it because I have already written it off as worth owning in my mind. Did get a $20 coupon for pizza hut. Signed a damage waiver before they started so just happy not everything got damaged and really glad I moved the TV and stereo equipment and all glass, mirrors and pictures/art ourselves.

Very disappointed in the service provided and moreso the professionalism (read: lack thereof). Used this company to move last month based on good reviews here. Overall the service was okay, except the damage created as they jammed a large couch through a doorway, damaging frame, wall, and floor. This was AFTER I stated "If the couch does not fit in that room it is fine, we will leave it out here (main area)." Afterwards, we submitted a damage form to the company and received no response after their 5-10 business days. My wife contacted the company and received a reply that "A cheque was in the mail." No explanation, notification, phone call, or information as to how they came to the decision. The cheque is for an amount not even sufficient to buy the paint needed for some of the repairs. The worst part is how they have handled things since then. I have sent multiple emails stating I wanted someone to contact me with an explanation and have received nothing. First response was "Cheque has been sent" - ignoring my concern; second response "manager not in this week"; third response "Oh okay, we'll have them call you on ___". Let it suffice to say, that day has passed and I received no phone call, email, or explanation. This has been the most unprofessional and inappropriate "service" I have ever received, and I hope that this review prevents others from making the mistake we made by hiring them in the first place.

Andrew P, Alex, and Chris were SUPERB. I was overtired and tense when they arrived, as I was not quite ready, and was very worried that the move would need to be deferred.. Andrew P. and Alex conferred with owner Dan, and quickly worked out a solution, adding third man Chris to the team. These are kind, strong, skilful, self-disciplined, and dedicated young men with a superb work ethic. Clearly they take pride in their work. They worked like Trojans, treated my furniture with kid gloves, carefully wrapped glass cabinets to prevent breakage, heaved heavy boxes of books up stairs as if they were feathers. They worked quickly and intelligently. I love trees and when their big truck had to back in close to my new house, one young man helped me hold a branch up to prevent damage to the tree. They consulted me at every step of this move to make sure they were taking only the right items (other family members were staying), and putting items where they should go in the new house. Owner Dan even came to be sure all was well after my initial upset (my fault entirely as I was not completely ready, despite my best efforts, and they could not defer my move date--they were booked solid) and worked with his general manager for an hour to make up for the delay in starting while they worked out a solution. I appreciated Dan''s flexibility and kindness in switching team afternoon assignments so that Andrew P., Alex, and Chris could keep working on my move from start to finish. This London Two Small Men with Big Hearts moving company is the very best in the business, from my experience.. Honest, trustworthy, skilled, fabulous team work, wonderful attitude to work. I recommend them highly. I will never use another London company. Thank you, gentlemen, for making a hard move much easier for me.

Of the two movers Peter the mover had one yr experience the other mover was new on the job. They arrived in an unmarked truck (no company name on the side). I had a 1 bdrm apt. I figured it would take 3-4 hrs. When Peter arrived he did not say approx how long it would take when I asked him he just said don't worry we will take care of everything. I was on the 3rd floor no elevator so I know that takes longer. I told Peter to let me know when they were at the 40 minute mark of finishing loading up so I could leave by transit ahead of them to be at the new location before they arrive. Peter told me when they were at the 40 minute mark and it looked accurate to me so I left. I called the office (spoke to Kayla) over an hour later asking where the movers were. They showed up 2.5 hours after the so called 40 minute mark. When the move was into the 6 hr mark I told Peter they had to speed things up as it was ridiculous that my move was taking that long. Peter did not put the shelves back on the bookcase (no reason to have taken them off), he did not remove the plastic from furniture, he left the diningroom table laying upside down because he knew he didn't have the legs on right. I called TSMWBH and told them I was not paying until they fix the mess they left me with. The male who responded to my call named Demetris said they would drop by to fix what was not done properly. Demetris and Peter arrived to fix the mess and Demetris did not offer me a reduced price. They charged me $930.00 so my experience with this company can be summed up as Two Small Men with Deep Pockets. Notice the owner does not explain the 2.5 hr waiting for them at new location when they were supposed to leave 40 min. after I left. I asked someone to stay with the truck at the new location that was after the the 2.5 hr wait for them. Owner makes excuses for such unprofessional movers because his only concern is give me the money. I would not recommend these movers. Unprofessional.

The first team that arrived at our house on a moving day declared right from the start that they have no tools and cannot take apart furniture to move it. They called for another guy who had the tools. They also did not want to move a baby's crib and dog's cage. They at first started moving smaller items while waiting for the guy with the tools. Unfortunately one of them then twisted his knee and we had to wait for 2 more hours for another team to come to help up moving. The second team was good and very professional. Overall it took a very long time and was very stressful. Quality of service seems to be inconsistent and was poor with the first team that arrived and very good with the second team.

Nothing prepares you for the stress of moving day…but Dave's team (Anthony, Raman & Boss) more than exceeded our expectations, they felt like family moving us into our new home. They were actually 20 minutes earlier than scheduled, with positive attitudes and were extremely hard working. Not once in the entire 9 hour process did they even complain once! I was blown away at their courtesy and professionalism. They were careful not to break/damage anything and worked quickly all day-- always smiling and laughing! Tip these movers well, they more than deserve it! I was shocked and impressed that Dave showed up himself to assess if another truck would be needed rather than having to make an additional trip. And he stayed on as a helping hand until that truck was entirely packed up. These are not bogus movers that quote low prices then hold your belongings hostage until you pay double the quote price, nor are they high end movers that charge an arm and leg based on each item you own…this is an affordable, hard working and professional moving team that treats its customers like family, only better!!! I've already recommended Dave's team to 3 people with upcoming moves. Thanks again for moving us into our home!

Yes this is rather old somewhat but been dragging all these years.. I moved with them 8 years ago. Some of the staff from the company are still there to this date. They had to store 3 items of mine. In over the three years, I have never been able to get them back. I went through the corporate, Retail council of Canada.. The items magically disappeared and never got delivered back after paying for storage to them for 6 months. The items were of value and Insured and yet.. nobody can answer for where or what happened to them. They just disappeared. One employee finally admitted that they are different franchises of the company and the one here went under about 3 times just shutting down until someone else takes over. Be careful and cautious is all I say.

I have to change my review after further consider. Most of these reviews are left with the movers watching over you so please keep that in mind. These are not all enthusiastic customers. The cost of my move became around 2.5K because we had to make 3 trips between the houses. I realized we had too much stuff as the move date approached and with 1 month to go, I called to ask for a larger truck but the company only has the 26 foot trucks. I was assured that a 3 bedroom house would fit in one trip so did not cancel my reservation. With a larger truck, perhaps only one trip would be required and the lost would have been GREATLY reduced as you are charged an hourly rate. Finally, one that last trip (this was around 10-11pm), I did not accompany the movers as there was much to do in the new house. Unfortunately, there were quite a few things left in the prior house which I had to pick up myself the next day. The gentlemen who came to move were polite and worked hard. I wished I had gone with a company who had larger trucks.

I searched for a moving company on Google Maps and chose Two Small Men based on reviews and gave them a call. I had a short time frame, 3 days from the time i called to move my house to an Apartment for a Renovation to my home and they were able to fit me in. The move was quick, the guys were great and everything went very well. I used Two Small Men again for my move back to my home, and again, the response and move was great, but we had a small issue with our dinning room table being damaged during the move. understanding these things happen, followed the process for a claim and found out that the weight based on a claim didn't cover the wavier, which was clearly pointed out in the liability waiver. Rather then that being the end, Dan provided an offer to make the situation right and it was more then generous. You can tell that Dan and his team have integrity and care of the people that choose to work with his company. One of the best experiences I've had working with a company directly. Highly recommend them and will use them again if i require a moving company.

First time to use this company, but I like the fact that Dan in the office was professional and returned phone calls, etc. promptly... did not keep me hanging for answers. Then I met Cody & Jake and these two guys were awesome. The move was strenuous and unpredictable with some major bumps along the way, but they came through, always polite and smiling, and their care in wrapping each item, was the best. Had great service. Excellent value for your money. I was thinking of moving on our own with the help of my two brothers. But.... with the twins, a newborn, two dogs and four cats, moving on our own was turning into a huge headache. So glad I went with Two Small Men with Big Hearts. The movers were on time, professional, and efficient. I was really worried moving my great grandmas curio cabinet, but they were very gentle and it arrived in perfect condition. I will definitely be using them again next month when I move my grandpa into his new condo.

I booked them to move my furniture to a storage late June this year. They Arrived 1 hour late saying truck battery died. 3 young guys just over 20. Worked hard during the hot summer day. However, I have to say they are not very professional. Scratches on the wall and railing. Hit the stones when they backed up the truck. No covering of the carpet made it very dirty. Damaged some furnitures I had to throw them away. Told me an hour lunch. Ended up 1.5 hours. When they put the furnitures in the storage I rent, one guy was pushing the leather couch against the concrete floor, I can just hope nothing damaged when I eventually move to the new house in August. Not recommended. Find someone else. I hired ninja movers two weeks ago to move my stuff from the storage to my new house. Found out two small men damaged my china cabinet. Called two small men. Refused to do anything even I have picture taken in the storage before ninja mover touched it. Stay far far away from two small men. They are small men with no hearts.

Today is our first time hiring any moving company for moving homes. Two Small Men with Big Hearts was recommended by our apartment building as they hire them for staging furniture moving all the time. We are extremely impressed and happy with the services that ANDREW P. and AMANDA have provided us. We were unfortunately informed that the building service elevator we booked in advanced was out of service for the whole day and the weekend, and we had to share the only remaining elevator with all the residents. For the first half hour the only remaining elevator was also broken! We were quite nervous and stressed with the unexpected situation. Andrew P. and Amanda were so professional and knowledgeable, and they MAGICALLY worked their way to get all our stuff loaded and unloaded with care within a very reasonable timeframe. They worked so hard and so well not only independently but also collaboratively. In addition, with the time restrictions and limited elevator services, they both helped us not only disassemble and assemble our bed frame but also helped us carefully wrapped quite a few last minute items ( large pieces of furniture and appliance) that were not wrapped and placed them to the desired location in our new apartment. Andrew P. And Amanda worked tirelessly to make sure our move was as smoothly as possible despite all the unexpected situations. BED BUG ALERT!!!! 2 SMALL MEN WITH BIG HEARTS GETS YOU BED BUGS AND A CAVALIER ATTITUDE FROM DAN THE MANAGER!!! ON Feb 25/19 I moved from a new home that had no previous people living in it to a fully gutted and renovated home using 2 Small Men with Big Hearts movers. 2 days later I found 2 bed bugs on the carpet. Being a Registered Nurse I was appalled! I called 2 Small Men with Big Hearts and spoke with the receptionist. She confirmed that this company does not clean the moving blankets between customer moves or provide new blankets between customer moves. I informed her of the situation stating if there was further evidence in the next week I would be back in touch expecting the company to pay for the pest control service. March 14/19 I had two bed bug bites. I contacted the company, told the receptionist and asked to speak with the manager, Dan. I told him what happened and my expectation. He denied this happened stating he placed a trap in the truck for a couple days and didn't get any bed bugs. The pest control bed bug specialist confirmed a trap needs to be in place for a minimum of 2 weeks. Manager, Dan of 2 Small Men with Big Hearts also confirmed he did not clean blankets between customers or provide new blankets for each move. He stated he would cover the cost for pest control. He then showed up at my home with intent to inspect my home stating he would not be paying for the pest control cost. He accused me of being an extortionist. The pest control company came and completed a thorough investigation of my home on March 24/19. The bed bug specialist confirmed that he could find no evidence of a chronic bed bug problem in any area of my home, my furniture or my personal belongings! If you use this company add an additional $1000 plus cost to their moving fee because that is what you will pay to have pest control erradicate 2 Small Men with Big Hearts BED BUGS from your home!

I had received a quote for my move to St.Thomas which was the best out of all the quotes I had received. I was informed there was an extra 1 hour attached to the flat rate due to the out of town move, which I had no issues with. The two movers showed up a little past the expected time,but not a big deal. The driver wore his sunglasses the complete time and wouldn't even take them off to acknowledge me ( matter of respect really ). The second mover was super nice and even engaged in idle chit chat. Honestly he busted his butt off and should be recognized as such. I did notice my extension ladder and the driver said I can't guarantee to get it on the truck.That's why we do a walk through. This was not mentioned previously. Said well we can't just throw things on top. The unloading of the truck was straight forward as they actually only had to move a couple of items into the house, the rest went into the garage. The time was exceeded by the quote by the time all was said and done. However when it came time to pay the final invoice, the numbers did not seem to add up to what I had calculated. The driver with the cool sunglasses that was afraid to show his eyes was giving me some major attitude and began to raise his voice to me. I mentioned that I did not like his tone, and he actually responded by saying that he didn't like my tone and kept repeating himself over and over again about the bill. I said never mind I will just speak to the office for clarification. My family members that were there were all standing in shock as to the way the driver had spoken to me. This driver knows the last thing about customer service and was extremely rude and disrespectful. I am appalled at this treatment. I received the invoice from the office and I e-mailed back asking for someone to contact me to help clarify the extra charges. To this day I still have not heard back from anyone. If you want attitude and LACK of customer service, then pick these guys. This driver needs to learn how to provide true customer service. APPALLING!!!

Alex, Will, and Jason were the ones who helped us move today and they were magnificent. They packed up our stuff with extra padding and even though our couch was massive they didn't even flinch when they saw it. My girlfriend and I were each moving from our own one bedroom apartments and the extra stop didn't cost us a thing. Each of the guys were also very personable and polite. Leading up to our move day I had great customer service from Dan including a check in a few days before hand to make sure nothing had changed. I went over everything we were moving and I was assured it would fit into their 26ft truck. Well it did not. Luckily we have a pickup truck and we made a few trips on our own. Upon arriving at the new house they opened up the trucks and items fell out onto the ground. The one mover shrugged and said "I knew that was going to happen". No apology, nothing. We moved at th me of November into a new build with no driveway or grass so it was muddy. They did not put runners or mats down in the house or remove their shoes. They brought one item in that was clearly damaged and said nothing. Then one mover informed me that an item "fell apart in my hands". When we brought up the other token item, again no apology. They just didn't care. After inspection SEVERAL of our items have scratches and dents in them. Two small guys with big hearts..I don't think so. I saw no compassion or care. After placing a damage claim and a complaint into the company I had to follow up with them after the timeframe elapsed in which I was told I would hear back. Dealing with Dan on the phone he apologized for my experience and said these were the most highly spoken of movers they had, so they must have had an off day. Then informed me that particle board furniture isn't covered for damage claims because it's not supposed to be moved and it should been taken apart before moving (I was never told this beforehand). Dealing with Dan was not unpleasant but he sounded worn out so I wonder if this was a one off experience as he said. Funnily enough I was speaking with family over the holidays that moved a few weeks after us and they as well experienced the EXACT same problems (moving van wasn't big enough, scratches on the furniture and no mats placed in house)!! I will not use the company again or recommended them.

We had Dave and his crew at TSM Toronto move our home and office from Toronto to Kitchener. Dave is a very knowledgeable mover and ours was a challenging move. The crew worked very hard and efficiently, not taking long breaks like other movers we have experienced. Dave also assisted but did not charge for his time! There were some unexpected costs due to needing a second truck, but they only charged for fuel. I highly recommend their services.

We used this company a second time for our most recent move and the experience couldn’t be more different, it started from the beginning with the crew not knowing their equipment and unable to park properly to be very rude and damaging items and leaving items behind.
