They made me pay or they would not take my stuff off the truck (against their own T&C's) and then as soon as I paid they dumped all my stuff on the road/sidewalk and took off. We were very pleased with the service provided by Tower Moving. Neil and Jadon helped us move from our condo in Toronto to a new house in Hamilton and were even able to accommodate an additional stop to pick up some extra items on the way. They arrived on time, were very careful with all our furniture and were polite and courteous throughout. They made sure to ask where we wanted everything placed and took great care with everything they did. These people are very dishonest and ruined my entire move. They showed up about 3 hours late and my condo had strict rules about booking the elevator. They said sorry but kinda shrugged like "what can ya do. We can start now though". You could only have that moving elevator for 4 hours and have to book in advance, but my booking was almost over by the time they showed up!! So they left me completely abandoned and the only chance I had left was to find another company for a couple days later and now I needed another moving elevator booking. Since they had a lot of other bookings, I had to beg somebody to cancel. The date was only the day before we had to be out, no time in between. This was all because of Tower Moving and their screwing up my original moving date. I believe the bad reviews, this company lacks professionalism and tries to grab as much money as it can by touting itself as a high end moving service which it couldn't be further from. AVOID TOWER MOVING!!!

Neil and Juan helped me with our big move 2 weeks ago. They came on time and were very professional from start to finish. They maximized the use of their time and moved a lot of heavy boxes with the fewest trips to the elevator as possible. They wrapped all our furniture with blankets or shrink wraps and took great care in transporting fragile items. It was amazing how much they were able to store in their truck in an organized fashion. We had some issues with the service elevator in our new building and they managed to finish the job despite all the obstacles and commotions we had to deal with in a highly stressful day. Ryan personally dropped off and picked up the green totes which helped me greatly to pack and organize our items. With the stresses of moving cities (Toronto to Niagara), Ryan and his teams came through for us to make our move any easy one. Working through the logistics we came across a problem in our last couple of weeks with another company who was storing some of our contents in two storage pods at their facility and did not mention they do not deliver outside of the GTA. Scrambling to find a solution, Ryan suggested we deliver the two pods to their yard warehouse location and they will have them unloaded for us and loaded on a Tower Moving truck then delivered to us in Niagara. We were so happy with the service and professionalism the two teams of movers, 1st load (Neil, Hamza, Ola, Andrew and Dan) and 2nd load (Andrew, Ola and Issac) who were all very quick and efficient. Moving day is always stressful but Tower Moving made it all a lot easier. They showed up on time and the four gentlemen had everything out and into the new place in about 5 hours. A lot shorter then I original figured. They were courteous and careful with my stuff and I even got them to make a stop along to way to drop a couple things off with no complaint. They were 2.5 hrs late, called me 30 min prior to arrival, apparently someone on their end didn't show up so they were looking for substitute. This has completely ruined my day and caused so much inconvenience and stress, at the end of the day, no word of apology, all they said was "Things happen." to my disbelief and the coordinator who answered my call started to preach me telling calls are recorded when I was simply complaining expressing my frustration like anyone in my situation would. I wasnt swearing or yelling, I was simply explaining and he started to preach me how these things can happen etc. No word of apology at all, I was completely speechless. I have used many different moving companys in the past, I booked with them as I had to move last minute and they were available. I saw other negative reviews so I was hesitant but I had no choice due to my time limit. Moving itself is stressful already, stay away from this company.!

We chose to hire Tower, not because they are the cheapest (they are not). We read reviews and call whoever we can before choosing to spend a lot of money on a moving company. Having made a number of moves in our lives we learned from the past that there are a lot of crooked, deceitful people in the moving industry (right AMJ?). After reading reviews and researching companies capabilities I was going to go for a cheaper mover but when I called them and inquired about the bad reviews on the net the response was "You can't please everyone". (Not the right response) TOWER was professional and hard working. They came in well over but we expected that because of the size of our move. They worked until late in the night placing everything where we asked. Of note the movers broke some crystals on one of our old chandeliers. The company stepped up and searched for replacements, found them and sent over professionals to install without causing us any issues or worries. I recommend TOWER movers for anyone's move. Dan

The owner(?)Ryan Thompson had the temerity, to ask for continued business and future referrals after his movers caused around $ 1200 damage to my custom made furniture. Last time I spoke with him in this regard on the phone, he had the shameless audacity to tell me that the $ 99 we paid to take out insurance, actually wasn’t insurance , but “protection”, thus they never paid for the restoration of the item. Yeah protection, should have protected me from him and his company, for ever making business with him What disappointment. RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: lies and more lIes. The technician you sent never fixed the credenza, they just tried to repair it, and after they failed they left in so much haste, that they left all their documentIon at my place. As for paying for the damage, you paid a fraction only of the cost.

This was by far the most unprofessional moving company my family has ever used. We had a very large move planned and we gathered several quotes from different companies. We went with Tower because we were guaranteed a cap for our quote. When we got the invoice, it was about $7,000 OVER the initial guaranteed quote. On top of that, we had extensive damage to my old house, new house and many of our belongings. The total was in the in the thousands. Many of the movers were very friendly but obviously inexperienced and very young. I don't think this company was equipped to handle a large move. If that wasn't enough, they forgot to move a few items from our old house, including my FREEZER (which we subsequently lost). We paid for assembly but a few items were never assembled so we had to hire someone from task rabbit to assemble them (more lost money). When we brought up all of these issues with the company, their idea of a compromise was to reduce the total invoice but it was STILL SUBSTANTIALLY OVER THE INITIAL QUOTE. So in summary, we ended up paying more than our "guaranteed cap", lost money in further moving/assemblying and replacing lost items, did not get our moving insurance cost back and had damage to our expensive furniture, walls and hardwood floors without compansation. We decided to pay the initial amount owed and demanded compensation for all the damages to our belongings. Instead, they charged our credit card WITHOUT OUR CONSENT for the remainder of their inflated invoice. Be very careful and always get all agreements in writing because this company is extremely unprofessional and will tell you anything to secure the job then bill you after the fact.

I am very happy with Tower Moving. They arrived on time (actually, arrived a few min early and knocked on my door at exactly 10 am). They wrapped all items that could otherwise be damaged. We disassembled most of our furniture in advance, but we had one shelf that we couldn't take apart. The Tower Moving guys did that very easily. All items arrived in good order. All was finished at 2.05 pm, they could bill us for 4.5 hours as per the contract, but only billed for 4 hours. Overall, very nice and efficient, thanks guys!

I've survive a number of moves in my life, more than ten. Sometimes movers are good, sometimes bad, and this time something out of this range - Tower Moving. I wouldn't call them bad, they are way beyond bad. I chose them based on the good reviews, and based on my experience with two teams of Tower Moving these reviews are most likely fake. I was moving one bedroom apartment within Toronto (about 20 km). The estimate (4 hours) was reasonable, although higher than most competitors. The movers arrived a little late, and the loading begun. I couldn’t believe my eyes. These guys were slow and didn't seem to have any experience or even common sense. Here is how leather sofa moving was performed: One guy put it on a dolly and try to go through a door. Of course it didn't. Then he tried to forcefully push it through a door. No go. Another guys comes and the have a little dispute, the after a couple of more attempts they finally figured out to put it vertically. One of the guys was spending a good half of the time on his cell phone, I guess he has very busy social life. His coworker was patiently waiting for him to finish conversations or chats. Another guy got in very heated argument with condo security who asked them not to lean things against a wall in a hallway. Tower Moving is advertising as condo movers, but they have no clue about the rules common for most condos. The security guard, very nice lady, was asking the guy to calm down as he was very agitated by this quite reasonable request. They also left some of my belongings in a corridor for more than an hour - another no-no in condo rules. Around 60-70% of time was wasted during the load on smart phone use, arguing with security and due to the absence of experience/common sense. At this point I was already pretty unhappy with my choice of movers, but this was just a beginning of the nightmare... The truck left before I did as I had to do elevator inspection with the security. Apologizing to the security lady for mover's behavior as well. I arrived to the new address in 25 minutes, the traffic was pretty light. The truck isn't there. Waited 10 minutes when called. They said they are 10 minutes away (stopped for lunch may be?). Ok. Waited another 15 minutes. No truck. Called again- they say truck is broken down and doesn't start, they are waiting are waiting for roadside assistance. At this point I understand that only 2 hours left for the elevator booking and the new condo is very strict on the timings. All my things are on the truck, bedding, clothes, everything. And it's Saturday, so next day delivery isn't allowed by condo rules. Trying to reach Ryan to discuss what to do - voicemail. At 3:30 PM elevator booking ran out and truck hasn't arrived. By that time I was finally able to talk to Ryan who notified me that they are all booked for Monday and that truck breaking down isn't there fault - truck break down all the time. They are sorry but can't help me. Tuesday may be? When condo management told me that the only opening for the elevator they have is for Monday and next one is Friday - I managed to persuade Ryan to rent another truck and get me my things on Monday - he decided to do me a favor. After two days with no clothes or beds I finally got my staff delivered on Monday. Boxes are smashed, furniture scratched, sofa and armchairs teared and ripped. The new guy dropped a box with plates because he was using one hand only - another hand was using cell phone. And the bill - higher than the original estimate. With some nice words - "We haven't made any money on your move and you got your stuff delivered- what are you unhappy about?" Bottom line - if you want your belongings handled by incompetent hostile movers, moved on a truck which is unable to go 20 km without breaking down, things smashed, scratched and damaged, being left for a few days without beds or clothes, and then you get ripped off - by all means - user Tower Moving. Update 2016-09-30 "we will be in touch ..." - yeah right, 3 weeks later no one bothered to contact me. Do not trust these liars.

Let me say I was not disappointed. They provided quick professional and personalized service. The movers arrived on time (a rarity in the moving world) handled all my stuff with care, and it was all placed in the appropriate places in my new house. I didn't even have to lift a finger. Be Advised before choosing this company. Their Terms and Conditions state that if they give you any payout for damaged goods, you are not allowed to post an online review. So the positive Reviews you are seeing on Google are one sided. Where are all the negative reviews? they are removed. If you post a negative review they will go after you with lawyers.

This was one of the worst experiences. I spoke directly with the owner to let him know that I had a piano and a 2 bedroom bungalow. The only things that had to be moved were large pieces - all boxes of small items, clothes etc. we had moved ourselves. They took so long to load the truck. They brought a truck too small. Said I had never mentioned a piano. My teenage daughter and myself (who has a pain disability) had to unload the truck with the movers, to save money. They had to bring another truck, as the original one was filled. They were very slow, actually 5 hours over what was estimated. The cost was several thousand over the original quote. Upon dispute with the owner, he denied any responsibility. Would not alter the bill AT ALL>I have many friends who are moving and have told them all NOT TO EVER USE THIS COMPANY. They are charlatans and have no customer service. Do not be drawn in by the lower price, it is a FRAUD. It is too bad for them, because, if they had even discounted the price by 2 hours, we would have been happy, but they wouldn't. So they lost about 10 jobs out of that. They suck. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!!

Ryan and his team were amazing from beginning to end! Ryan provided us with the best quote and was very professional with quick email turnaround answering any questions I had. The guys showed up on moving day, 15 min early, made sure all the hallways and door jams were protected. Took the time to wrap furniture in blankets, shrink wrap and even managed to get a large wardrobe out of our little apartment without us having to disassemble it. They were very friendly, fast and came in within the time/$$ that was quoted. I would definitely use them again.

We want to thank Ryan and Eddie for making our move as least stressful as possible. Ryan emailed back and forth with me to set everything up. He was professional and straight forward. Ryan and Eddie were our movers. They were fantastic. They showed up prepared and ready to go. They moved really quick and they were both super polite. They had everything we needed and it was all included in the price. They had tape, shrink wrap, wardrobe boxes, mattress covers, etc. They protected all of our stuff with clean moving blankets and were very careful with our belongings. Everything arrived at our new condo in the same condition as before the move. They put everything where it needed to go and when we changed our mind about where we wanted something they simply said no problem and just moved it to the new spot. They were great!
