The business end of the deal was OK.Talked to Gabriel she arranged everything was all good. The fellows that came to pick everything up were OK but a little rough. I knew they were going to take it to the warehouse and unload and reload when time came to deliver.Truck showed up late from what we arranged on but no big deal. The driver asked me to drive to Tim Hortons as he was hungry I did not want to go but after being badgered enough I went. I had the drivers debit card his pin and his and the swampers order. They wanted breakfast but by the time I got there they were serving lunch. I guessed on the order and of course bought the wrong thing. He made it sound like I screwed everything up. I said he should have done it himself before he came to unload. He also mentioned he hated his job and his work ethic revealed that. I feel our stuff was treated poorly throughout the move. They were bashing stuff coming into the house and I had to say something more than once. More than a dozen broken glass and mugs. My printer does not work at all. Opened the box and parts fell out. Every piece of furniture has a nick or dentin it and the kitchen table every corner has been bashed. If you value your possessions don't move with these guys you'll be sorry. We are

Stay far away from this company! I moved from AB to ON. They broke a bunch of my stuff, I filed an insurance claim with them. Now they are not returning emails or phone calls. They are a very shady company

Highly recommend this company. They moved our 3000 sq ft house from start to finish in 6 hours. We had some very large basement furniture that we were unsure would fit down the stairs in our new home and they took the furniture apart at our old house and reassembled them in our new basement with minimal wall damage in an incredibly tight space.

Did not handle my items with care at all. Although I clearly marked boxes they were every where. Kitchen boxes in the basement and heavy items no where near where I had them on the map. Scrapes on the floor and a broken couch. Upon bring this to my reps attention I was rudly spoken to and refered to claims where they told me I should have bought insurance. I was not in the understanding I has to insure against their mishandling. If i could rate 0 I would.

I am updating this and will continue to, to save others from the experience I had in 2017. This company is run by criminals. They quote you a low price for province to province moving and then when they arrive at your destination they hold your belongings hostage and demand double to take it off the truck. I was yelled at, swore at, threatened and bullied. I finally chose to let them keep my stuff and bought all new stuff. DO NOT USE THEM! Worst experience of my life. It was heartbreaking to lose all my things. I will forever wish this company the worst. You guys are scum. And if you'll notice, whomever responds to the bad reviews just says anyone complaining is not a real customer and works for the competitors instead of acknowledging they are ripping people off and trying to explain it away rationally. First time ever hiring a moving company. The price was definitely right, but some of the guys were quite rough I noticed. I had labelled all my boxes and made sure to make all glass and fragile boxes known and I saw one of the guys flip some of those boxes around a few times to get it right on his dolley. Well, I dont think a box labelled "ALCOHOL BOTTLES, FRAGILE GLASS" should be flipped around like that. They also broke a lamp, but I do understand that things can break during a move, hence why I decided to move my own TVs.

It was my first time moving and hiring a moving company. I was definitely naive with how much a company could mishandle their own business and how taken advantage of you could feel. I was 28 weeks pregnant moving from Edmonton To Cochrane. They arrived late which was honestly fine. The issues didn't arise until we received notification of a railing going down my stairs being broken and damaged from someone dropping some kind of large furniture down it. This was a new assessment and our condo had undergone 20 thousand of renos. That railing was brand new. Then the truck driver backed into a new electrical pole and destroyed it. I called them to figure out insurance and how that is handled. The person I spoke with was completely disrespectful, yelling at me. Then my partner called and automatically the owner started yelling, and informed us that our stuff would not be delivered and to pick it up for a thousand dollar charge at their warehouse. I was staying in Cochrane pregnant and my hubby was on Vancouver island. I also had a 2 year old daughter with no belongings in Cochrane. I had to call him back almost begging to deliver our belongings. Finally when they did deliver the men were incredibly rude, and rough with belongings. It was pouring rain and I actually had to ask them to take their shoes off as no one brought runners to go upstairs. They started what I believe was swearing under their breath in a different language. It was blatant disrespect and the worst experience of moving. Please don't hire this company!

I had booked with this company in April to do a move from Calgary to Edmonton on Saturday May 29th. Back when I booked with them, I had specified that I would have to work with my new landlord to set up an elevator time and for them to let me know what time would work to do the move. I had worked out a time between 2:00pm-6:00pm to have the elevator booked at the new place to have everything unloaded. THREE DAYS prior to the move, I called to confirm the timeline of the move (I had not received any update from them) and wanted to ensure that everything would go smoothly. I was advised that not only would they not be able to pick up my belongings until between 4:00pm-7:00pm, but they ALSO would NOT be able to drop off my belongings to my new place until the 31st! It’s important to note that the only reason I chose this company is that when I booked the move, I was emphatically assured a single day move and that they would be able to accommodate moving my belongings from Calgary to Edmonton without delay. Based on this brand new information, I would now have to not only pay for a hotel for the 2 nights (costing me even more money), but the 31st is a busy move in day and did not work with my new building manager. I now have to re-arrange my whole move three days out from moving to a completely different city because of what I can only chalk up to as utter and complete incompetency lined with deliberate dishonesty from staff members who clearly don’t give a DAM. The only competent thing that they managed to do through the whole process was refund me my deposit at the end of everything. **DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!**

At the estimate session Eric provided detailed information of what to expect before and at the time of moving. He fully explained the whole process and followed up with calls to make sure we're still keeping the date. The moving team, led by Leo, arrived on time and began to go to work. They moved everything we've packed, retapping some of them as needed. The team moved everything and unloaded them at our new home. Nothing was broken or damaged or lost and no damage to either house even though this move included a treadmill that's difficult to get in our new home because of the door size plus 2 exercise bikes. They finished on time as promised and the final price was very close to the quote. If you get free home estimation from them, this is the best idea before you move. They provide free estimation and they kept their promises.

I had a great experience moving with David and Gebar from Real Canada Wide Moving today! To start from the beginning, we also had great service and communication with the company before they showed up as well. Nicole was super helpful on the phone and gave us lots of useful information and confirmation calls to make sure that our time and date of pick up were correct. Then this morning David called me from the truck just to let me know that they were on their way so I knew when exactly to expect them. When they got to my place they were super friendly and got down to business quick. They asked questions about what should stay or go and made sure they documented things everything. For two guys they did the job pretty quick and then explained the paperwork for me to sign, then they were gone! I'd highly recommend using them to move, they were very careful and very friendly.

The move out was good. They were fast and professional and were able to work within my schedule. I am not as impressed with the move in. They did not really ask where to put things and even though boxes were labelled pretty much everything was left in living room. I paid extra because i have stairs and then had to move thing upstairs to the bedroom. Also my table, bed, and dresser were disassembled but them but left for me to put back together. I have a heavy table and no one to help put it up right once together. They left the bubble wrap on my heavy china cabinet that i now have to take off and move myself. Not impressed considering what i paid for the move. I have moved several times and while not my worst moving experience not the best either. Follow-up - it has been a week later and did not get an invoice for work done. My microwave was broken in the move. I tried calling them and have not heard back. I am not very impressed with the lack of customer service.

DONT USE THIS MOVERS THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!! I wish there was a 0 they do not deserve 1 star. I got a quote of $500-$700 to move items from Edmonton to Ontario, 26 boxes no beds or equipments. By the time my items arrived was charged $1337.50. A few items were destroyed sent a claim several weeks ago nothing. I tried to work with them their Cistomer service was horrible, advised they will get the manager to work a deal nothing happened. CSR was mostly rude and obnoxious. Stay away from them. Owner your response is a disgrace you should be out of business for the thrash service provided. You have no integrity and everyone should NOT use this SCAM movers.

The worst moving experience I could have had. For starters, they scratched the roof with a couch on the way out of the pickup location and tried to tell me it was not a problem (it was a newly painted ceiling). Then for drop off day they showed up 2.5 hours after the four hour dropoff window without so much as a phone call. I called at the end of the window and was told only then they were an hour late. Called after the next hour and it was still another hour and a half. They also were unimpressed when I asked them to move furniture to the proper orientation (I'm a single woman and couldn't do it alone). And they majorly scratched up a wall on the way in. I called to complain and was told it is not their job to put together any furniture and nothing can be done about them being late. The lady told me they didn't have time for a phone call so that is not their fault. They are in a car with 3 guys, one of them could call to say they would be several hours late and not to expect an on time delivery. Overall, the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time and I would definitely not recommend anyone use them.

Please avoid using this company by all means! They charged a lot of money for a very few furniture and all my furniture was broken and damaged. They didn't want to take responsibility at all. Gabriela O'cay was very rude to me. They said that my furniture was broken already but I have proof of purchase (almost brand new furniture). Lots of hidden costs and the list goes on. Please avoid yourself many troubles and pass the voice around!! :(

If I could give them zero, I def would!! They are crooks!! After receiving a quote from them, they picked our stuff up and then a few days later changed our invoice with WHITEOUT to charge us over double what they originally charged. Also added a packing fee to stuff that was already packed and when asked to show what they packed couldn't come up with anything. They will also quote you on when your stuff will arrive furing quote and then change that date on you once they have your stuff. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS!!!

Please do not use this company for moving !! I hire the services of this company and I can not rate them worse than 0, otherwise I would. I moved from Montreal to Edmonton, they were going to pick up my boxes on a date we set and I scheduled my trip for the next day. They not only did not arrive on the established day, they did not call or respond. The next day, hours before my trip, they finally answered and told me that I had to set another appointment for the pickup. I had to talk to the new inhabitants of the apartment and ask a friend to be there that day. Because of the inconveniences caused, they said that they were going to give me a discount. They finally collected everything 3 hours after the time they had said. They say that it takes between 10 to 15 working days to deliver things, after 20 business days and several mail and calls they came with my things. Not without first charging me for the service and when I reminded them of the discount they told me they did not know what I was talking about. After fighting them they gave me 25 dollars of discount for all the inconveniences. Obviously the boxes were battered and in poor condition. The people who are in charge of the clients are rude and have no education. As I said before, to avoid problems, better choose another company.

These are not professional movers. I would strongly discourage anyone from using this company. The initial customer service is excellent, however after that anything and everything was horrendous. Items were placed in the snow then into a filthy truck and damaged.

If I could post zero stars, I would. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever endured. And they greatly underestimate the weight of your move in order to get your business. Expect to pay at least double what they quoted you. Though the website says they will disassemble furniture, they won't. They don't even carry tools much less know how to use them. By the time the movers got to the furniture (literally one bed frame and one desk) they had already loaded our tools, way in the back of the moving truck. They said if we didn't take apart the furniture, it would be left there. I should also mention they changed our move date at the very last second, citing a provincial vehicle inspection FOR EVERY SINGLE MOVING TRUCK IN THE FLEET. They also said in advance of the move that the company would take care of finding a weigh scale between the origin and destination, but when the movers arrived, they said that was our responsibility, and in the middle of trying to direct the move, I was frantically making phone calls. Trying to communicate this with them was exceptionally difficult as none of them spoke English well. I have nothing but the most admiration for new Canadians, and I felt very badly for them as the company clearly puts them in these terrible positions all the time. On the way to our new house, we had made arrangements to stop at a storage unit, and $100 was charged for the stop, despite the fact that it was on the side of the highway and we would have passed it anyway, and despite the fact that adding items adds to the weight of the move, which increases their revenue already. Anyway, once we got there, they started gesturing wildly because guess what? There was not enough room for these additional items despite making arrangements way in advance. Before they had started loading our things, the truck was already one-third full with another delivery destined for the same area. The storage unit had to be cleaned out that night, so after the move from hell was completed, we had to make several trips back to the storage unit, working into the small hours of the night, shoving things in our car that didn't really fit. Once the movers arrived to our new house, they calculated the final moving cost, which was more than double the quote for a three bedroom home and GET THIS: we didn't move any appliances other than our new deep freeze. No fridge, stove, washer or dryer. We didn't move a kitchen table or chairs. We moved only one bed, and not even a couch! A real three bedroom house probably would have cost $10,000 to move. We paid more than $4400 for was equated to a one bedroom apartment and garage contents. But here comes the best part - I didn't have enough room on my credit card to pay the final amount and had to send $1200 by e-transfer. We use a small credit union, and it took 20 minutes for the transfer to show up and despite having paid $3200 already, they would not begin unloading and threatened to leave with all of our things indefinitely, because they had to deliver the other items at the very back of the truck to someone else! They said our stuff would be unloaded "somewhere" and that even if the transfer came through right after they left, we might not have our things delivered for weeks. Thankfully it came through before they left. I have never had such terrible customer service, and honestly, I would pay more money to contribute to a public awareness campaign against them. EDIT: Despite emailing and phoning the company several times - they never replied. Yet somehow, they managed the time to post a reply to my review.

Extremely not pleased with the lack of service, and total lack of communication. If your going to be late just tell us, if the truck breaks down just tell us, if your going to nickle and dime us on the final price just tell us. Unfortunately I expected to be held hostage for our belongings. Since you refuse to answer my email with a simple request, and you don't return phone messages, now that you have my money, I guess the chances of seeing our property in any reasonable time frame is out of the question. Is it really to much to ask to receive a simple update on the approximate arrival time of our belongings? Especially since the outside time forecast ed by you has come and gone. Today Thursday 09.2017 between the hours of 9 am and 2:00 Pm Whats happening with our delivery now?

We moved this summer from Edmonton to New Brunswick. When searching for a moving company we found that Real Canada Wide Movers had the best rate, but the customer service from the main office was quite poor once we had paid our money. The movers that collected our things in Edmonton were great, but once our things had been taken we didn't hear from the office for weeks, even though I tried to contact them a few times. We had arranged for delivery in NB in late August, and had told them specifically that we could NOT accept delivery on a particular date due to the fact we were closing a deal on a home. We were assured over and over by the office staff that our things wouldn't arrive on that day. The night before we were to close on the house we got a call from a moving company in NB saying that our things would be delivered at 8am the following day..the one day we had said we couldn't accept them. Long story short, we had an extremely stressful morning trying to juggle lawyers, very impatient movers, and the office staff at RCWM. When we finally got through to the staff member at RCWM who was the cause of the problem and explained the situation, her only statement was 'yeah..i thought that was going to happen'. Luckily we managed to gain access to the house and get our things delivered before the movers dumped them on the front lawn, as this blunder put them about 3 hours behind schedule. Most of our boxes were in a terrible state; many had obviously burst and had been poorly taped back together, many boxes marked FRAGILE were found squished and crushed, some boxes had obviously been opened so we were worried that items had been stolen. Thankfully we had been very careful whilst packing so we only found a few minor items damaged and nothing valuable was missing. We didn't receive any further communication from the office whatsoever. All in all we weren't impressed with the service from Real Canada Wide Movers and wouldn't recommend them.

The drivers were two hours late, they even damaged my hardwood floor and my piano (with huge scratches), they even threw my boxes on the floor like nothing is in there. I filed a complain, even with photos as evidence, they just tried to ignore you like nothing has happened!!! Please save your money and do not use this moving company!!

I never thought I'd be the type to hire movers, but 3 moves in 1 year puts a strain on your friends and relatives. I shopped around and Real Canada Wide Movers were the most affordable and were able to squeeze me into their schedule w/in just a few days. The two movers were amazing! They work quickly (which is important since they work by the hour), clean, and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone that asks!

My experience was awesome and to tell you the truth I was kind of nervous! This company is easily THE cheapest rate I've found and they delivered my stuff on time from Montreal to Edmonton. I had some large extremely heavy boxes and most moving companies would refuse to move them and these guys didn't mind. Understand this isn't some big company, and there are extra fees but TALK ABOUT THEM FIRST AND THEY WILL TELL YOU!! ITS NOT SOME BIG SECRET. Hidden fees, extra weight added to our load (900lbs) we said storage they tried to deliver with no address to deliver then for there mistake they charged us a redelivery fee. Then when back in storage thwy said end of march for delivery then called a week later and saod it would be delivered the next week and there was no more deliveries ever going to Nova Scotia so we have no choice to get it in a week.... Total scam artists STAY AWAY!!!

I have used Real Canada Wide Moving twice, and had a good experience both times. This past time, I moved a condo from Montreal to Edmonton. They charged me exactly what they quoted me (no hidden fees), which was fair in comparison to other moving companies. The movers were pleasant and went as far as putting on my new headboard in place of my old headboard I was throwing away after they dis-assembled it. I would recommend this company for sure.

All the bad reviews are true, they are trying to say people from their competitors are making up these reviews, not true! This business is horrible. They sound great when you book with them, but once they have your money they won't listen or help you. My 8yr old son is now without a bed because they showed up without his mattress and a contractors ladder of ours, I also have missing boxes and broken items that were packed in bins and bubble wrap! When you call to explain this you are told you must email them, never a sorry... but I have sent numerous emails and have only received one email saying they would drop the mattress and ladder off on a certain date yet no one ever called or showed up on that day. I was here the entire day and night. Horrible that after spending $5600 that's the way you are treated, ignored, and taken to the cleaners! FAIR WARNING DONT HIRE THESE MEN THEY ARE LIARS, SCAM ARTISTS! If they were good I was going to hire them to do my parents house as well but they lost that business now because I'm never coming back! Umm no you didn't send the rest of my shipment! We still have missing boxes! I've emailed you about everyday for almost a month now with no response! WHERE ARE THE BOXES???

If I could give a rating of zero I would. I highly advise you DON'T USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. I moved my belonging from Edmonton to Windsor Ontario. First off they took over 51day to deliver my belongings over to me which was a nightmare. They said that someone called me to deliver and I said that I wanted it put in storage until after the holidays which didn't happen. I was dealing with Gabriella and she knew I was calling constantly asking where my stuff was. My husband called to see where our belonging were and told them that we would write a google review and they person on the phone asked if he was threatening him. Then when they finally delivered they only sent half my stuff and told me the rest would be delivered at the end of the week which never happened. I had to call again and ask for my stuff and Gabriella said she thought was already delivered which it wasn't and they said they had to find my belongings and get back to me. I had to wait another 10 days until they found my belongings before it finally came. They lost my Dyson vacuum cleaner which was over $500.00 and my ironing board which wasn't a big deal. My fabric headboard and foot board was damaged and looked like they laid it in mud. My mattress was filthy because all the plastic was ripped from the move and they broke the bottom of my dresser. I waited for 3 weeks to hear back from the claims department and today hear back from Tony that they are refunding me back a total of $150.00. I called to speak to Tony and was told the claims department doesn't take calls. If you want to get your belonging delivered in one piece this is definitely not the company to use. I highly advice you look elsewhere for a reputable company. Worst company I have ever dealt with.

I really think people should keep exploring their options before they pick this company. In my experience they changed the delivery date 3 times and finally delivered our items a week after our move in date which was very inconvenient (we moved from Alberta to British Columbia).The moving truck was at least 50 feet long (it was humongous!) and they took it through tight residential areas with no regard for trees. We were shocked they would take such a truck into a tiny neighbourhood. They were missing a shelf unit and I was told to email a claim; I didn't hear anything for 2 weeks so I called the office and someone told me they'd look into it and call me back..it's been a week and still nothing. A lamp was broken upon delivery. Also the drivers of the truck were very rude to my roommate, she told me they yelled at her. And they weren't careful packing our items in the truck...some of my cardboard boxes had collapsed and were falling apart when I received them. Yes, they moved my stuff here (minus the shelf)..but I definitely would NOT use them again.

We used Real Canada Wide Moving for our recent local move and they were great. I would highly recommend them for local moves. The estimator was on time, very professional and accurate. He presented a few different options, was able to tell us how they'd impact our cost and timing and was helpful in guiding us on how to best prepare. Movers they showed up on time , they picked up everything and delivery to our new home in 5 hours total. Great service. Thank you.

I would be hesitant to use this company. We moved from Burlington to Edmonton. The movers were my biggest stress since we decided to move and when we had trouble I was not surprised. The movers in Burlington were great, very friendly and on time. In Edmonton they showed up two hours late, were friendly, however if we had anything to put together it would not have happened. We received everything, there is a few big chunks missing out of a dresser and my bed frame at this point it will not be worth it go back and complain. The main reason I would not choose this company again is the customer service. Our shipment showed up 8 days late, they had our stuff for 29 days. The only reason we came to Edmonton early was to unpack and be settled, we could not do that. Dealing with Nicole was awful she was never upfront about anything, it would take forever to hear from her. She was never the first to let us know about anything we had to contact her to find out what was going on. Even though our shipment was 8 days late we still paid full price. Considering we had to stay in a hotel a few extra days, couldn't cook and then bought an air mattress due to the inconvenience. Not once did we hear from her about what was being done for us. For this fact alone I would not choose this company again.

These people are a set of criminals and con artist. Misinformation, unprofessional movers, rude customer service and not mention lack of punctuality and organization. They were late in coming to pick up our stuff and even though they told us to book the elevator for a specific time, they were never ready, condo wanted to charge us for extra use. Gabriela and her manager were rude and disrespectful, they do not expect you to comment on their unprofessionalism. The movers just dumped our stuff into boxes, had no regard for our 2 year old as they swore repeatedly!!! Worst movers ever!!! Kept my refund!!! WISH I COULD DO ZERO STARS!!!!

Underestimated pickup and delivery times. Lack of care for our items (bouncing the dolly down the stairs, dropping boxes, several damages to furniture, many broken dishes). Very poor, aka non-existent customer service. Unsafe feeling dealing with the delivery drivers after we had a payment dispute when the company asked us to pay nearly double their estimate. Unreasonable, unhelpful, unapologetic. I terribly regret using this company.

They were mannerly, they listened and they did exactly what I asked them to do which I don't think was unreasonable, however, they were more than willing. Worst. Moving. Company. Ever. Listen to the reviews people! We paid them upfront like they demanded. We didn't get our things on time. AND WE DIDN'T EVEN GET ALL OF OUR THINGS!!!! Our bedroom set which was bought from 'Ambers furniture' in calgary (super pricey!) Now discontinued bedroom set. They brought everything (with chips, cracks and breaks!) Except the side boards for our bed frame. Claimed they couldn't find them. My husband read everything carefully. It said we did have insurance. They offered us $100 for our bed frame that we cant even get any more. (entire set over 6000). Also... that $100? Yeah we have yet to see that. One of our lamps were broken too! The worst part was that I wasnt a loud to look over all the paperwork when they picked up our items because the drivers didn't want to wait around. They were in a hurry and told me 'just to sign it!' So they could get out of there. AWFUL AWFUL MOVING COMPANY. HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES. THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE LIKELY FAKE FROM FAMILY AND FRIENDS TRYING TO BOOST THEIR IMAGE. IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME, MONEY AND BELONGINGS DO NOT MOVE WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!

The company has many issues : 1. They delivered my item so late . I had to call the customer service every day to follow up . Don’t relay on the 15 days they mention, it takes far more longer . I waited a month to receive my things. 2. Poor customer service. They didn’t inform me once my shipment arrived at the warehouse. 3. Some of my items were lost and many items were damaged . 4. The labour they hire were aggressive in handling the furniture so most of my items were scratched plus they were rude when I asked them to place my items to the requested rooms . They just want to throw it at the enterance and leave. Overall , I totally don’t recommend this company even though they may give cheaper price . It will cost you more to fix your stuff if damaged or lost .

The worst experience I had in my life. I have been scheduled and promised that they will deliver my household items on June 30th, also they promised to call me by June 29th to schedule the time for June 30th. I haven't received any call or information until June 30, 2018 noon and I called them on June 30th, seeking an update. The customer care lady (Gabriela C.) told that there truck has mechanical complaints and they can't deliver it until July 3rd; since it is raining, heavy trafic, long weekend, and none of there truckers are answering phone. I told the lady that I have a toddler and my wife is 5 months pregnant and I made all the arrangements based on their promise, also explained it is very difficult to make an alternative arrangement as I only have the money to pay them and I am in my new place already. Gabriela without any human consideration, rudely told that it is not there problem and they wont deliver the items until July 3rd. Gabriela also threatened that I can't even legally challenge them as they have great legal back-up. On July 2nd, I received a call from Dave introduced as despatch coordinator. When I tried to clarrify whether their truck is ok, he told that their trucks are in great condition. I told him that I have been told by Gabriela that their truck had complaints and that is why they couldn't deliver it on June 30th, he responded me rudely and told that it is none of my business and they didn't had any drivers on the day. Please don't trust them. They don't understand what someone faces and they are very inhumane. They even ask you to pay up in front without even allowing you to check whether your items were in good condition and will threten you that if you don't pay they will take it away and will charge for additional money and none of them in the office will answer your phone, if you have need to tslk to them or have a complaint. They behaved as we did it wrong and they are doing a charity. I tried to talk to the manager, who was in the office and they simply lied that no one was there. The biggest liers I met in my life, who operates their business on 'untrust'.. Worst experience.... Please don't trust them and please don't consider them specially if you have a family as they will not keep the promises and they are very inhuman. They will also explain the things with untrust rationals, which will help us to understand that it is a lie and they can't be trusted. Even when I asked them to rescale it, they will defent it. You can't trust them in anyways. You will loose your money and peace of your mind.

I wish it was possible to give less than one star to accurately represent the experience you'll receive from this company. I wouldn't wish the experience I just had on my worst enemy. To summarize: they'll make it seem like you're getting a great deal with their original quote, but its all downhill from there. You'll end up with extra hidden charges (For example: for stairs, plastic to cover your bed and couch, and a "tv box", that for me ended up being a regular box that was just opened up and wrapped around the tv... something I could have done for free, but instead had to pay $75 for), terrible customer service (the owner is the rudest human being you'll ever speak to), a bill that is at least double the original quote, late deliveries (mine was 3 days late... with no contact from the company until it was already 2 days late), lost items (I don't think I lost anything, but they gave me someone elses box... so someone lost something), and damaged items (most of my furniture was damaged or completely broken). They have no respect for you or your items. If you're currently planning a move, or ever are in the future, please consider other moving companies, and just stay away from these guys all together.

Hello, I moved with Real Canada Wide Moving Alberta to Alberta. First, they have very good estimator. He came to my home and did home estimation. And he gave me price based on 15000 lbs. I paid exactly same amount (actually $150.00 less) for my move. By the way their rates so far best rate I received. And they are very flexible for pick up delivery time. If you have limited budget and you are looking for good service for this price margin, this company so far best one. Gabriela, she is a great sales person, very polite, talks very nicely. you would be better off throwing all your stuff away rather then trust these thieves. they damaged and stole my stuff. They count on you not going through the trouble of taking them to small claims court to get away with it. they are as unprofessional as it comes. I was suffering from the Alberta downturn and they made my life so much worse. My first warning is when they do the list of items ( which is a joke because they don't even go over it when they throw it back at you, and chances are half of it won't be there!) you'll notice they mark everything as scratched or damaged. This just shows their intent to rip you off starts on day one. They promise to store your stuff for two months and then show up 1 month early without warning. They store it in an unheated heap somewhere where it will be damaged from the elements as well. they made me wait a whole day 24hrs when they finally did decide to deliver it, promising every couple of hours that they were only half an hour away. I had my stuff in storage so did not realize the extent of damage and missing item ( a 800 dollar wrought iron shelf from chintz being the most costly stolen item). when I did contact me they offered me $100 for the inconvenience because I did not take out the extra insurance ( I later found out this is what they do with all the customers they've ripped off). you're only other option is to take them to court, I wish I had to save others from this fraud but I was to busy trying to put my life back together to deal with this as well. There isn't any reason to look further for a moving company you can trust them to do the best job for you. The price is good,and as far as the charges per pound, mailing an envelope across Canada is way more expensive, lol. As far as the surcharges for anything else it isn't a big deal :) way more cheaper than going anywhere else. The customer service from both the office and the friendly and efficient. The time it took to pick it up from my place in Fort Murray, about to kitchener Ontario was fair. Not a thing missing and nothing else I can complain about lol. i had a very unprofessional experience with the company. not only was my furniture a day late, items were broken and the charge was more then double the quote. i have tried to discuss the charges with the company for several weeks and have had no response. the company quote was very misleading. the professionalism and quality of work and is very poor. i would not suggest this route for moving. the persons picking up my furniture did not explain anything to me, did not remove their shoes, did not tell me i would be charged for putting a blanket around my TV's. additional charges beyond the weight, added up to 500 plus dollars. the quote stated very clearly no hidden costs and packing of items included in cost. i had to call to find out where my furniture was, i was promised it was being delivered the day we discussed. if i didnt not pay on delivery i was told i would be charged more for storage, however the company promotes free storage for 5weeks....? not impressed, taken advantage of and mislead.

The movers came late, couldn't find the loading dock (basic research), were argumentative, and charged a surprise fee on the day they arrived because they "estimated" the distance was over 100 feet from their truck to the suite, before they even went up the elevators. If you don't pay the surprise fee RIGHT AWAY, they will literally hold your furniture hostage. It shows what kind of people are running this business. These are the kind of people that are used to cheating/scamming others so they expect the same behaviour out of their customers. Just look at the other bad reviews, and look at how the business responds. Always threatening, always defensive, always blaming the customer. It's pathetic. There are MUCH BETTER moving companies out there. Don't use this one.

The worst experience I have had. We moved from Fort Mac to Toronto. 5 boxes and a rug were missing, dresser was damaged. The staff was rude, they charged us additional fee because of the stairs on the porch, which was never agreed to or mentioned in advance. I also got someone else's stuff delivered in error and notified customer service. They assured me it will be picked up, which never happened. This would explain why my missing stuff had never been found. The value of lost and damaged items was in thousands but they "reimbursed" $200, which doesn't even cover the cost to ship the missing items.

Don’t use this company. They lie to your face and will break your items and act like you should expect this kind of behaviour. staff turn over is so bad people are hired and use an assumed identity. Don’t believe me? Ask to see their warehouse by Yellowhead trail in Edmonton. The office is a tiny room above the size of an average bedroom with 5 desks and a window slightly bigger than the size of a Mac book. Save yourself the headache, plan ahead and hire a better moving company, one that you can actually vet. Brian Johnson’s 1 star review is true and yes this company is owed by the same person as Canada us van lines. The response Brian received from the owner was the owners way of bullying people into staying silent as to not ruin his scam of a business. I will probably get the same response maybe even threatening me. I’m not surprised. Just please don’t move with them. If they call to give you a quote, just hang up.

The worst expirience with any moving company and would not recommend to anyone. Was quoted a price and ended up paying 400$ more, which I understand other things factor into play. But once everything was unloaded everything stayed boxed up as I was in the middle of a floor renovation. Fast forward 3-4 weeks and I start unpacking. First box I come across was labelled "keepsakes". This was not my box, everything was smashed in this box, there was also a rug that was not mine. Another customer is missing this keepsake box& rug. I get to my dishware and more than half are smashed & chipped. I was careful to pack them up. Also all my furniture has knicks, scratches etc. They had wrapped tape around some pieces and this strippered the paint! I go to call and they only have a two week window to report such items. So not only am I out dishware, wrecked furniture but another person is missing their smashed "keepsake" box!! Wreckless, careless and unprofessional.

But we never got the weight or how much it would cost to move after we were told we’d get it that day, after they finished packing the truck and left. We called two days later asking simple questions to know how much it was. Ended up being on the phone with the manager and was yelled at and told to find a new moving company cause they wouldn’t move it anymore. All we did was ask how much the weight was and how much it would cost. We were yelled at on the phone and told we were rude for asking calmly about these things. Very professional!! Initially spoke with them to set it up. The team that came in was equally professional and efficient. We had to get the sofa lifted from the car garage and put it through the terrace to our living space.They took care of it well. I really liked them because they were careful and quick. Real Canada Wide Moving management however followed up on the issues when we made them known to make our move go as smoothly as possible. By far the worst moving experience ever. Ive moved 5 times in 5 years, all of them between provinces either by myself, or with a shipping company, and I would encourage you to NEVER book with this company. It is worth the extra time and stress to do it yourself, because it ends up being LESS stress and less time consuming. They were a day late for pick up, added extra charges to my bill (which I didn't agree to), their driver threatened me, and physically intimidated me, had the police called on him by 3 separate people, had traffic enforcement called. He also wouldn't answer his phone well I called asking what time he planned on being at my residence. I saw one of the movers standing on a packed cardboard box of mine to reach something. Items were damaged and delivered a week late. The office is closed on weekends which no one told me, so when the driver was late, I had no one to troubleshoot with. No one has acknowledged my experience with them, and I've phoned SEVERAL times. The manager refuses to return my calls. The claims department says they take 2-6 weeks, but it's been over 8, and I've yet to hear back. DO NOT book with this company. I also find it interesting - why are all of the replies to the complaints threatening and accusatory of "being a competitor"? Why wouldn't the company try to right what was wrong, or contact the customer directly? Very similar to their service - rude and threatening.

Answer to the reply regarding my complaint regarding their service: You seriously think I am the one to blame!!!... I just hope you were professional enough to know that you are the one to check the clearance for the pick-up and destination locations, not me!!!....I called other moving companies afterwards and they ALL knew what to do WITHOUT asking and they sent a shuttle instead!!... For future reference, this is how it should work with most of condos and apartments!!.. You think being disorganized and unresponsive, is good customer service???!!Since when??!..... We waited for the pick-up crew for half a day until they showed up with a full truck....Do you understand that we relied on you and planned our move accordingly?!...You mentioned we talked over the phone many times... But who was the one calling and trying to talk to your manager several times after this situation?.. Have you called me the next day EVEN ONCE!! to make sure the service has been done or you could not care less!!... Yes, I called many times!! to talk to your manager and arrange another pick-up but never got any response, Not even a single apology, from him/her.. I am very glad I did not continue with your company and I found a certified mover on the Association of Canadian Movers!! I cannot lie to people about your service because it is very unprofessional and a lot of others are on the same page ... I am just taking the time to write this to warn other families looking for a moving service and I want to save them the headache, that is all.... Best of luck with your business!....

I would definitely use them again. I have moved from Abbotsford, BC to Fort McMurray for work ????yay! I've looked around for an estimate with pretty much all the national movers and opted for this company "Real Canada Wide Moving", why? First of all the woman (Ashley) I' ve talked to was very nice and polite to me, and more importantly the price was beyond fair compared to the other moving company. I did take into consideration the reviews that I have read, but its the same reviews with other companies though... This is the only company is the only one I've found that's closest to Fort Mac and that's within my budget. The move went pretty well, minor hiccups. Considering it was a long distance move and the final bill was close to my personalised estimate, well Im pretty happy with the final results. As far as my belongings arriving in fort mac it was as expected were minor dings that I didn't protect myself. All of the items that I didn't want damaged I wrapped up very well and securely. I've actually sold some of my things that I can buy over in Fort Mac like breakable items like dishes, glass, etc... My dad used to be a mover so I know that long distance moving can get rough during the travel and i also know how to pack my furniture and belongings properly????. ... So yeah,, definitely will use them again for the phenomenal price and staff????. Thank you guys!! ????????????

Their storage facility has MICE! My stuff came back with mouse poo all over it! This was the WORST moving experience I’ve ever had. I asked to speak to a manager at one point to have the schedule explained to me and he came on the phone and began yelling at me before I was even able to ask any questions. The manager of the Edmonton location was the rudest individual I have ever had to deal with in a service industry setting. I was doing a long distance move and when I agreed and signed the contract I was told I could call a week or two out to arrange my move date for drip off in Jasper from Edmonton. No one told me it would depend on when they had a truck going to Vancover so I had to wait for my things to be shipped from Edmonton to Vancouver and back before receiving them. Instead of receiving them on a day that worked for me- I had to wait over a week and take a day off work to receive the shipment when it was convenient for the company. Beware! The management is rude and difficult to deal with!

Both guys were amazing, they showed up with great attitudes and were extremely helpful offering to help me with absolutely everything! They called & said they were running early would that be ok we said fine. They came in wrapped the furniture very carefully & worked very hard getting us moved . Nothing was damaged they were very careful moving everything. I would use them again without even giving it a second thought Thanks Dawit &Gebar !!

Didn't show up. I flew with my wife to Montreal from Alberta to assist our daughter's packing and clean up of apartment. We had confirmed booking for move on Sept.29th between 8 - 11 am. At 8:11am that morning we received a call that truck had broken down day before and the soonest they could move our daughter's belongings was in 5 days. I asked if any solutions they could provide us and they recommended we hire a moving truck to pick-up and store until they could get there (ironic?). I then called the customer service specialist line, and left a message to call us back please. Without a vehicle, we finally securred a pick-up last minute in Montreal (not as easy as you may think...ha) and moved everything ourselves to a Uhaul facility that impressed us so much, we gave them the business to transfer the belongings to Alberta for us. Upon getting back to work this morning (Oct.1) in Alberta, i still hadn't heard back from Real Canada Wide Moving so i called to ask if i could speak to a manager about our crisis over the weekend. They indicated i would receive my deposit back, and sure enough a few hours later i received an email 'sorry about that, we refund your deposit. Your receipt is attachment. Have a good day!' As an owner of a few Alberta businesses, i would punish MYSELF if this was my best customer service. Wouldn't recommend

NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!! They changed the pickup date to make sure our stuff would arrive on time, never showed up on the day and did not call to tell us they were running late, changed the time 3 times then never showed up. After finally showing up 3 days later they said our stuff would arrive in Calgary by the 3rd when we would be there on the 1st. Had to call them every time we wanted an answer or the invoice. Multiple times there was no answer and no call back when they said they would. Also said they would refund us the deposit and never did. Now they are saying our stuff will not arrive until the 7th while we are living in an empty house. This is the third date that they have said our stuff will arrive. They have done nothing to help us and refuse to give any sort of discount or refund. Terrible customer service and absolutely NO help from the manager.

On December 17, 2016 I moved the contents of a 1 bedroom apartment from a garage in Beaumont to a fourth floor walk up apartment in Edmonton. I paid a four hour minimum with a one hour travel time at a rate of $110/hour. I tipped each of the delivery gentlemen $40 cash at the end of the job and they finished in around 4 hours including all travel time, one hour under the minimum time charged When my ex-husband had a heart attack that left him unable to care for himself or the children at the end of July, I was faced with packing and booking another move so I can be in Beaumont to assist in his care as well as being responsible for the kids. I decided to go with this company again and received the same quote as I paid in December so I booked it..WORST mistake ever. Late in the day yesterday, I was called and told to expect them between 10-2. Today they showed up, August 28th, at 3:35 - this after a call at 2:00 saying to expect them within an hour. I had called back at 3 wondering where they were and explained that the delivery time was starting to get late given the medical situation at the house in Beaumont. I was very calm and polite despite this being my only day off work this week and my kids having spent the day looking after their Dad on their own while I waited at an apartment for the movers. Upon them walking up the stairs to start the move my cell phone rang and it was the office telling me they were sorry to be the bearer of bad news but there would be an additional $300 charge on account of the four flights of stairs and asking if I'd like to proceed with the move. My response, "it's August 28th and I don't have much f----- choice but to pay this despite having a quote as well as an invoice from December when I wasn't charged this fee?" Upon getting off the phone, the lead guy said he'd explain it to me. Ha ha ha - "explain what? That you're trying to charge me almost double what I was charged in December for the exact same move and what I was quoted two weeks ago? Just start moving the stuff already" That led me to being accused of being harassing and rude to office staff and delivery drivers and for this they left, leaving me stranded August 28th with a walk out scheduled for August 31st. The lead guy accused me of treating them like slaves, at which point I started crying due to offensive nature of that comment and the frustration of being tired, irritated, and not understanding what the heck was going on. He told me not to bother crying, they were leaving, and I could find another mover. I agree I shouldn't have swore, however I don't agree with the way this company attempted to leave me no choice but to give them more money. There was nothing to explain - honour your quote and price I paid in December for the exact addresses, exact furniture. . Instead they chose to try to gouge me and when I fought back, made it my fault by accusing me of harassing their staff.

I wish there was an option to give this company 0 stars. Or negative stars would be even more fitting. Any positive review written here is by the manager of this "company", made blatantly obvious by his horrendous grammar and using a google account from his company (RCW schedule...really?), in an effort to boost his rating and continue to scam people of their time and money. If I was looking for scabby old boxes that came with a price tag of $100 and listed as a "TV box" I could have went to the recycling depot myself. This company is an embarrassment; at the very least move with a company accredited by the BBB.

I have very limited budget and I moved from Calgary to Montreal last month. They did very good job, they delivered my goods on time in Montreal. We had so much to move that the moving crew was very honest that we needed a second trip. The crew was upfront and very honest on time frame of our move. The move went very smooth. They worked through the heat of the day and 9 hours straight, best moving crew by far. Would hire them again. No damage and they even gave advice on how to protect our new hard wood floors from moving furniture around in the future! Very good moving company even in last minute crunch.

They were awesome. No scratches on my furniture, and they wrapped everything up. I have a large mirror and it doesn't have a single crack . Best service ever. I'm in the sales business so I move around quite a bit and have dealt with many different moving companies over the years, but these guys were definitely the best economy priced movers and I've ever ever seen. Their pricing was straightforward and they were very easy to work with.Will definitely be calling for future moves.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!!! Paid over $1700 for them to move some things from AB to BC. We had our landlord let the movers in as we weren't there yet, when we arrived we are missing a mattress and box spring, they have broken a lot of screws out of everything so nothing fits together anymore, the boxes labeled FRAGILE had been stacked below things ( breaking about 70% of our dishes -All dishes were wrapped individually in towels/paper and labeled in boxes as FRAGILE.) and the majority of our plastic moving bins have been absolutely DESTROYED, and they took OUR moving blankets, and to top it all off they won't answer our calls or return messages!!!! EDIT--- hilarious response, as if we don't have proof of everything you broke and all of missing items that were documented and numbered for the move out yet are somehow now in my house after delivery. After 4 months we finally got "compensation" in the form Of $300 dollars.. we spent over $1700 replacing the items that we paid the same amount to have them moved!!! Such a terrible company. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

This was the worst experience I ever had with a moving service like real Canada wide moving if I compare it with other countries as well.I had a move from Edmonton to Toronto recently completed on 1st November which I dread it as of now.Firstly just wanted to let you guys know their long distance charge is a big hoax.PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THEIR LONG DISTANCE CHARGES ESPECIALLY THE PEOPLE WHO STAY IN AN APARTMENT OR CONDO.Firstly this factor was never discussed at the time when you call them.Their movers came and parked on a no parking spot near my apartment/condo with clear signage of no parking being displayed there .Then they came to the house and told me that if we do not park there and park somewhere else we would charge you long distance .I was literally shocked to which I refuted as they cannot park in a no parking zone obviously otherwise the company would have got a ticket themselves.This small logic was very difficult for the movers to understand.Somehow I managed to move them and then they came closer just in front of the apartment .Still they replied if we bring out the stuff and walk 3 steps of out of the house the long distance would be charged .I felt like laughing at them I mean seriously to which I told them this is not going to happen what are the other options .The movers replied “Cancel your Move and book a different date”.I told them after all this is not a joke the moving date is related to a lot of other dates and pre and post plans when a person is moving from one province to another and you don’t change a moving date just like that.However it was my luck that day that after sometime they told me okay we will not charge u anything .This was over that very moment till I saw a final bill being given from Real Canada wide where they charged me 200$ for the long distance move.i called them discussed it with them wrote emails but they just told that we can do nothing about it .We discussed it over the phone to which they said they can do nothing then I wrote an email explaining the entire situation with screenshots attached of my home to the place where the truck was parked asking them to let me know how that is considered a long distance move but till date I have not got any reply .I mean how will I get a reply when the entire thing of robbing a customer of 200$ was preplanned .Guys there is no management or no hierarchy over there the entire team are either one family business or are a group of friends running the business so it doesn’t affect them a bit if the customer is angry due to some reason or if there are issues or concerns in your moves.they won’t even reply you on email after the moves are done if there is a problem.Suppose if they reply they will say there is nothing we can do at this point you cancel the move or go somewhere else that too on the day of the move they will tell you this when you are hooked up completely and nowhere to go.See their audacity in this they don’t care of the customer is having issues.They know this customer weakness and they very well know the customer would never back out at that point.This is no more than blackmailing and money extortion I would say. SO GUYS PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY

I would highly recommend Real Canada Wide Moving. I called several movers in which they all came out and did a survey of my house and what was to be moved. I chose Real Canada Moving based on their quote and reviews. On the day of my move, I got a phone call from a guy introducing himself as Abraham with Real Canada Wide and he said they would be at my house at 8:00 and he asked if that was okay. Sure enough at 8:00 they were at my door. It was four guys and they were all very polite and professional. I hadn’t quite finish packing when they arrived and they all jumped in and helped me finish packing. I thought this would cost my quoted price to go up but it didn’t. I paid the exact price that was quoted me when they came out to do the survey. I was very pleased with the service, the movers and the professionalism provided by the staff.

People try to scam them, by not paying or trying to find loopholes in the contract, and when they can't they write horrible reviews to hurt the company. They covered every piece of furniture--even the cheap Ikea stuff that I said not to worry about--with furniture blankets, and they covered the stair rails and door frames with protection as well. They even rolled out the "red carpet" to protect our wood floors. Leo, Tony, Kaisi, and Pierre worked so well as a team and they had the best energy--they spoke kindly and calmly to one another when maneuvering heavy pieces of furniture and joked around in a very uplifting and relaxing manner. It was such a relief to have them take care of us on moving day!!! They even rearranged our bedroom furniture for me several times until I was satisfied with the arrangement. So patient and so kind! Short story: they profit off of customers' misinformation. They don't inform you of their regulations and conditions and they screw something up, they try to cash in on those regulations and conditions they never mentioned to you. My best advice here is: stay away from this company. Whole story: I moved from Vancouver to Toronto and somewhere along the trip, they broke my TV. I emailed them on the date they delivered my things (June 2nd) with pictures of my TV, asking how we should proceed with the issue. Two days later (June 4th), Tony replies me stating that he will be processing my claim ASAP and asks me to note that processing claims may take up to 2 to 4 weeks (ASAP for sure). I waited two weeks before trying to get in touch with Real Canada Wide Moving again, and on Sunday, June 19th I emailed them asking for a follow up to my claim. No answer on Monday, June 20th. I proceeded to email them once again on Tuesday, June 21st. No answer on Wednesday, June 22nd. I emailed them once again on Wednesday, June 22nd, and, once again, no one replied me by Thursday June 23rd. On Thursday, June 23rd I called them. Nicole answered the phone and I requested to speak with Tony. She then told me that the “claims department” doesn't take phone calls (Tony signs his emails as being part of “Customer Services Department. What kind of customer service doesn't take phone calls?!). She told me that if it was about a claim I should send them an email, to which I told her “I've sent three emails over the last few days and no one replied me”, she told me she would talk to the “claims department” and that if no one gave me an answer by Friday, June 24th I should call them again. I forgot to call them on Friday, June 23rd and on Monday, June 27th, Tony replied me saying that they are not liable to pay me anything because: 1 – The TV was packed by me - This is not true. Their crew packed my TV. On their checklist, everything I had packed myself and was inside boxes, they would write solely “Box”. For the TV, they wrote on their checklist “TV”. 2 – Quote: “In the contract unfortunately you didn't buy the extra insurance when this is the case; the shipment then travels under standard liability(...) with a $350,00 deductible, to be paid by the customer”. - This is also not true. Said “contract” was never shown to me prior to this email, where Tony was answering my claim. The same goes for this “extra insurance”. Nobody inside Real Canada Wide Moving ever mentioned that purchasing extra insurance was an option, so I never had the opportunity to further protect my things. And, surprisingly, the same goes for $350,00 deductible of said “insurance”, which was never mentioned to me before Monday June 27th. Tony then proceeds to offer me $100,00 (even though, according to him, they owe me nothing), for my “satisfaction”, which I think is a poorly planned bad taste joke. The only sheet of paper with anything that resembles a contract only got to me on the day they delivered my things, (June 2nd), which was the sheet they needed signed as confirmation of delivery. My girlfriend signed that sheet and she was instructed by the moving crew, on the delivery day, to sign the pick up date (May 22nd) only after they delivered my items. And that's why I would never do business with Real Canada Wide Moving again nor I would recommend it to anyone. Stay away from them! I will update this review with a link to the Better Business Bureau complaint I will open. In there, anyone will be able to see all the documents along with the story.

I moved with them twice in 2 years. First time I moved from Edmonton,AB to Toronto,ON in 2016. Now I came back to Edmonton. Both my moves went very well and smooth. Nicole she helped me lot.Also I want say thanks to their delivery driver Davit. He was a very nice and very helpful guy, I asked him couple times change my sofa place. Please make sure you read the reviews before choosing this company. I regret i didn't. Their receptionists seemed to be professional and very responsive, which made me choose this company. It turned out to be a nightmare to me. The original quote was pretty cheap about $1700, but i ended up paying around $3000. i wouldn't complain about the price if they could provide a good service. But they gave me the worst moving experience ever. The moving out was okay. But the moving in was terrible. The driver was rude, unprofessional and very impatient. The worst part was so many damages were done to my furnitures even though I paid $100 extra for the packing. U shape workstation, computer desk, shoe rack were totally broken. Washer, dinning table, book case, bar chairs, patio chairs got damages. and 80% of the wood furnitures had scratches. I made a damage claim and got only $175 compensation from them because I didn't buy sort of extra insurance even though they didn't even mention that to me before. Their damage claim is totally a joke. I didn't even argue with them this time as I don't want to deal with this company any more.

I don't know how else to word this besides: Stay away from these scam artists. They do not honor their contract, and while causing extensive damage to almost all of our high end furniture they refused to even look at any of it for a repair. I would rather haul everything I own across the country with a herd of donkeys than hire these guys again. UPTDATE: And in response to the "fake" review comment that the owner left. This is not a fake review, you had no way of knowing my "order number". You moved me from Alberta to Windsor, which you would know if you actually had my order number like you claimed. Because you've tried to discredit my honest review, I feel the need to expound on my experience. Moving day: Truck shows up with several guys over 5 hours late. They proceed to throw everything into the truck with little regard for our furniture. I asked if they planned on using blankets between our pieces and they said they would, then proceeded to load the furniture without any blankets. When our furniture arrived our couch was completely broken, the wooden frame was broken in the middle. Our very expensive kitchen table and entertainment center were both splintered, and every single chair we owned had the paint rubbed off in numerous places. My wife was in tears when she saw our stuff. Most boxes were crumpled into half their original size from obviously being under heavy pieces of furniture. Interestingly they also left us with several pieces of furniture which were not mine, which they didn't bother to pick up when I informed them of this. I called customer service and proceeded to get the run-around for a month, only to be told at the end of the month that the time had passed for me to file a repair claim as it had passed 30 days. Please feel free to respond to my "fake review". I would be happy to include more details of the gross negligence this company showed towards our belongings.

Bad experience. cancelled the move at the very last minute. an hour before I was supposed to move. Re-scheduled it for next day and I had to take another day off. Then, I scheduled the delivery for Saturday next week and again they didn't have me on the schedule until the day before I called to confirm the delivery of my stuff. They arrived late for the delivery, Half of my stuff was scratched and broken. My whole moving experience wasn't smooth at all. They kept me stressed throughout the process.

This moving company is extremely unprofessional and the customer service was terrible. They delayed my move for 30 days with only a couple days notice and the lack of communication and poor customer service was appalling. They also damaged my lazy boy couch and I am missing a couple of boxes, which they have made zero attempt to fix. Please do not use this company, they are not an accredited moving company.

Two days ago we made our payment in full to them and still no sign of our belongings. I attempted to speak with management and they asked me to email a claim, which I have and have yet to hear anything back. Please if you are moving do not go with Canada wide movers. This on going experience has been nothing but a mess.

They were quick, efficient and very professional. They moved my troublesome furniture like it was a breeze. I cannot say enough how impressed I was with my movers. They were prepared and they even made sure they put my items in my storage so that it would be easy for me to get to it. So thoughtful because the only requirement I had was that my couches sit in the front so I can get to the easily because I may sell them before I completely move out of the storage. I have hired Real Canada Wide Moving twice now to move into two different homes. From start to finish, it was a good experience, from the office and on-site estimate to the crew on moving day. They have always been extremely professional, right on time and under their estimate. Their crews make one of the most miserable experiences you can have (moving) as pleasant as possible. NEVER AGAIN!!! (1)Driver got lost and I had to go find him.(2) They tried to charge me extra for blankets and a cardboard box ($15).(3)"Chuck" the driver tried picking up our 14 yr old dog by her collar after I told him to leave her alone (4) "Chuck" the driver grabbed a bottle of whiskey and drank it, thankfully it was only a couple ozs. (5)Very rough loading the truck,we told them to be careful cramming furniture against ceiling(6)They refused to let us use our lock on the truck instead leaving it unlocked from Sk to Edmonton for the weekend then out to our new residence in western Ab. (7) They kept phoning us after they left asking how to get to Edmonton (8) They got lost coming to our new place even though I had given them a map with detailed directions, We had to go find them and guide them .(9)Many pieces of furniture was broken,scratched and gouged right through their ID stickers. The crew explained it was because we had garbage furniture. Yelling at my wife that she was stupid.(10) The unloading crew refused to speak english (11) They tried to make me pay extra 3% because i used a Credit Card instead of certified cheque. They only give you 1hrs notice of bill for you to get a certified cheque and we live over 1/2 hr from town where we had no bank accounts set up. (12) They force you to sign paperwork stating your furniture arrived in perfect condition before they will start unloading or letting you see inside the truck....Very Very unsatisfied they undercut all the other movers quotes and you will pay for it in the end.. they offered us $250 for damages. when broken damaged furniture washing machine parts, badly scratched and dented fridge and antiques broken would easily cost several thousand to replace..

Where to start? My experience with Real Canada Wide Moving was awful! I hope this review will prevent others from being completely taken by this company. I was moving from BC to Alberta, was give a quote from 1000lbs at $680 to 2000lbs at $830. I booked them for Dec.1 2017. The driver called me a full week early asking to pick up my furniture. Of course not expecting this I was not ready and still working. Then on Nov.30/2017 I was supposed to receive a call to confirm pick up for the next day (Dec.1). I waited until the end of the day and gave them a call, they told me that because I wasn't ready the weekend before that my furniture was rescheduled for Dec.2 pick up. Ok, not the end of the world but a heads up would have been nice? They show up, everything goes well and they take all of my furniture and boxes. Then a few weeks later I get my final bill which was 1820lbs and the charge was for $1110! They charged me $100 to go up 5 stairs! I eventually got that charge removed but could not understand why my bill was $1000 for 1820lbs when my quote for 2000lbs was $830. I was told that is their pay structure?! Then I set up delievery for my belongings, they showed up looking as if my boxes were thrown down the stairs, dishes inside were broken (they were packed properly), they destroyed my dresser, kitchen table, one of the chairs for the kitchen table, a night stand, my stand-up fan and then I realized my summer tires for my truck never got delivered! They also delivered a few items that did not belong to me. It took me 2 weeks of asking them to pick up the items that did not belong to me when I finally drove them to their warehouse on my own time. Seeing inside their warehouse made me understand why so much of my furniture was ruined!! it looked as if they literally just shove and pile peoples things as tight as they can in there. I made a claim for all of the damage and my missing tires, this is about $3000 in loss for me and they paid me $150 and told me my tires can't be found. They told me that they calculated my loss at $300 and the deductible is $350, so i was basically owed -$50, but to "keep me happy" they sent $150. It has been nothing but a nightmare. I now have to replace so many things and go spend $600-$800 on a new set of tires which I had owned. Please choose another company to move your belongings. I would hate to see this happen to anyone else.

I’ve used Real Canada Movers a couple times and my last experience was the best one yet. They were very friendly, very good at what they do and pretty quick. They went above and beyond to get a large couch in to my basement which was a very difficult task given the doorway situation. By far best pricing as well. I moved from Lethbridge,AB to Sex Smith,AB. Abraham and Brahne are so kind and hard-working, they made the entire day more manageable. Their flexibility and positive attitudes helped tremendously. Other helper doesn't speak good English but hard worker. So far All the workers are very kind, respectful, nice and honest.

I really don't enjoy moving but Real Canada made it as painless as possible. I've never worked with a company that provides a free estimate and it was a great experience. I met with Eric who came out the week prior to my move. He was super nice and gave me the estimate later that day.I paid exactly what he gave me on estimation date.I really can't say enough about how impressed I am with his company's service.

Contracted this company to move my family from Vancouver Island to Central Alberta. Charged me more than twice what they quoted, Many of my belongings were broken, and many more missing. Water damage and mice living in my boxes. Tried to negotiate a more realistic price with them, got told if I wanted a better price, I would not be able to claim for damages. The worst experience I have ever had in my life. They delivered the furniture with 2 missing items. A brand new arm chair and a bed base( I had to buy a whole new living room because the missing arm chair). They refunded only 150$ although the arm chair alone worth more than 500$. In their email they didn’t even say we apologize or sorry. Don’t use this company just because they offer a good price- you will end up paying triple that when you lose your items or when you receive a broken stuff! Plus when you ask about your missing items they take a week or 2 to reply!

Horrible company , worst experience ever , have absolutely no professional ethics , I booked with them to move my items from Ontario to Alberta , 3 weeks earlier , paid the booking fees , my move was supposed to be on 24th June , I had to call the office one day earlier to arrange for the time for pick up , they told me between 3-5 pm , I waited that day no one came at all , with continuous calls to their offices in Ontario and Alberta , they are all liars , they told me the pick up will be 6 pm , and they are following with the driver , no one showed up , 8:30 pm I had a call from the driver , he said no one called him at all , and he can not pick up my items which were only boxes well packed , saying by tomorrow he will pick it up between 1-2 pm , next morning I called the driver he said he did not give any promises , and it has to be arranged with the office in Ont. ... If there is Zero star , they would have it ... Never to recommend this company

I hired these guys to relocate my parents to Missisauga Ontario. When I first contacted Real Canada Nicole was rather helpful and had all the answers I needed. I am the type of person to over think everything & stress over the littlest things. My parents have alot of old antiques from my great grandparents that were sentimental. The travel to Fort McMurray would have been to much for us to help them pack. Nicole suggested thier comprehensive full pack service which was well worth it. The truck arrived on September, 27th a day before the actual move simply just to prepare and pack the house so that everything would be ready for the guys the next day. By 7:00pm everything was boxed, wrapped and packed except for the mattress. The next day the truck that was actually shipping the stuff showed up with 6 guys and were in and out of the house within 2 hours. My parents called me, they were amazed a company could be that organized and efficent. My parents are now here with me and my husband in Missisauga. Her stuff arrived on the 9th of October. They only had 3 guys for the offload here but they were still fast and carefull with all of their stuff. The movers showed up two hours late, at the wrong address, broke my sectional couch, and then informed me that I would have to drive to Red Deer on top of everything, so that they could weigh the truck. The movers did not even have the decency to call to inform me that they were going to be late. I will definitely be boycotting this company and warning all of my friends and family not to choose Real Canada Wide Moving. I literally just fired my only movers on a long weekend because of their incompetence and my own utter dissatisfaction. WARNING: never choose Real Canada Wide Moving!!!!!

The company name Real Canada wide moving and canadaus vanlines are the same people they have too many fake reviews online and they are easy to spot. Check the peoples' google reviews online which they put within the last 2 weeks and each person has only two reviews and apparently each person moved with both of these companies within the two week period and gave them 5 stars. It is clearly scam and the owner is putting these reviews up. I believed those reviews and moved with them. I had a horrible experience. BBB and Local Police in EDMONTON AB. PLEASE FLAG THESE GUYS. I will keep putting these reviews online unless they stop doing operations. It happened to me and I do not want any other person to get hurt. I DID SCREENSHOT ALL THE FAKE REVIEWS AND SEND IT TO THE LOCAL POLICE AND MEDIA. THEY WILL BE COMING AFTER TO THESE PEOPLE. Absolutely HORRIBLE service. The guys that picked our stuff up were very nice. The guys dropping off our stuff were a nightmare, the middle eastern guy threatened my father in law to begin with. Our tv stand was DESTROYED. My father in law had to carry our mattess and all the furniture himself into the house from the curb of the road. I would never recommend this company to anyone, if I could give less than a 1 star I would.

Please do not use these movers. They brought the wrong sized truck, I had to leave multiple items at my old house and they ofeed no solution. They came at 5pm!! They were supposed to come in the morning. It ruined our whole move from mcmurray to edmonton. We had to stay an extra night and sleep on the floor. Items were kept in storage for 6 months and multiple items were broken. I should have known better than to trust their answer when they said I didn't really need the extra insurance, because I did. The included insurance is basically useless. Water damaged items. Broken items. Had to watch the movers every move as they were rough as hell bringing items in. Overall we spent big money and had very little return. We had lower and higher quotes and picked in the middle somewhere. Bad move. Don't trust. Just please go with anyone else.

A mattress, headboard, 2 dressers, a night stand, a mirror, small box and rails was to be Sunday picked up between Noon and 3pm in Calgary and delivery was to be same day. Sunday afternoon 3:30 pm my Grandfather still had not heard anything from the movers, finally they called me at 3:45 pm and said they were 45 minutes away. 6:30 pm the movers phoned and said they were in Airdrie, 9:40pm I get a phone call that they cannot find my house, after 15 minutes of being on the phone with them of instructing them to turn around and head North back down the road they finally found me. I requested to pay via e-transfer and this is where everything really started to go south. Upon one of the movers giving me a total, they tell me that the weight is actually 300lbs more than estimated and it will cost me another $120 on top of the quote. I don't argue this and I send the e-transfer right away this is at 10:08pm. The mover calls dispatch and dispatch says they will wait a little bit for the transfer ( we all know they can take some time to process). 15 minutes go by and I talk to the dispatcher again, only this time he's demeaning and very rude to me. He told me to pay by credit card then, I do not have credit card that is why I said I would pay via e-transfer, dispatcher said no money no delivery and I will have to pay extra fees, he then told me to cancel the transfer and send again and then hung up on me! I understand needing payment, but why the poor treatment? Why was I not informed ahead of time the total so money could be sent right away? How am I at fault with no notice of total until they get here? Dispatch knew before they got here the total. The movers left with my grandmothers things at 10:45 pm and I get an email from this Dispatcher saying I simply just did not pay after the movers being there for 65min - actually 35min from the time they told me the final total. Oh and get this, they'll redeliver on Tuesday and it'll cost me another $600!! I email back and tell him the proper times and also say that I will be discussing it with the office as I'm not happy about the way I was spoken to. To which he sent an email back "We came to your door and you did not pay it your balance. If you don’t have enough money for your balance, you have to tell us . This is not the way to keep movers over there and kept saying I sent e-transfer? Anyway good night." I responded and also sent the email to the office at 6:30 am.. Office opens at 8:30 am. 10 am I phone into the office and I'm told the lady will look into it and call me back. I call back again at 1:30 pm. I'm put on hold and a lady comes on the phone and says we'll be sending you a new invoice for re delivery. First of all I didn't say go ahead with re-delivery and secondly lets address last nights events. So there is NO accountability with this company for lack of communication, there was NO I'm sorry dispatch spoke to you in that manner it shouldn't have happened. They'll redeliver for $300, I say no thanks I'll make my own arrangements to have it picked up in Edmonton, at this point I'm hung up on again. The ONLY nice thing I have to say about this company is Garbiela is a very nice lady. She emailed me and I made the arrangements to have my things picked up at the warehouse on the Wednesday with her. Upon my friends arriving at the warehouse we discover that there is NO WAY this bedroom set weighed in at 800lbs! When asked to see the scale ticket they were told no they would not show the ticket. The furniture actually weights in at 450lbs total. This company has made what should have been an easy transition of getting my Grandmothers things out to me into a nightmare. Do not hire this company! I SHOWED THE MOVER MY BANK ACCOUNT SHOWING THAT I SENT THE TRANSFER. WE ALL KNOW TRANSFERS CAN TAKE TIME AND YOUR COMPANY HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO NOTIFY AHEAD OF TIME. ALL OF YOU SERIOUSLY LACK CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND SHOULD TAKE SOME COURSES!!! AGAIN I AM ASKING.... SHOW ME THE SCALE TICKET! Do your math! Time of total notice 10:08-10:45 is NOT 65 minutes

Excellent company, we moved from Calgary to Edmonton last week. They did great job. They have very good rate. They piked up my goods Tuesday and did delivery next day to Edmonton. I have a big shipment (6000 lbs) it cost to me less than $2500.00. I'm lucky I found this company.(Actually my friend recommended). I got many quotes from big companies, their quote way more expensive than this guys quote.

In 2018 I moved from Edmonton to Campbell River BC.After they dropped the stuff off I had to sign off big mistake.There was some items missing ,so I phoned the truck driver he found the items mixed up with the next delivery in Victoria.He wanted me to pick them up I said no He took them back to Edmonton which I later retrieved them when I was back in Edmonton.Got see the warehouse was a total mess . No wonder they couldn’t find things that we’re missing .

We used this company to move from Edmonton to Vancouver at the end of May 2016, the day of the moving 2 movers came to wrap and haul, unlike what is advertised, they don't do much of blanket wrapping, we have nicely packed and boxed most of things, only asked them to wrap blankets around one sofa and one couch, they said it is against policy!!!! for delivering, it took them 2 more weeks that what initially said, were calling them every day, one day they say it is on the way, the next they say it is not shipped yet, finally after 2 weeks,they called and said the truck is too big for delivery in Downtown Vancouver!!!!! what does that mean! they finally gave our stuff to 3rd party to deliver. At the end, when our furniture finally arrived, some of our items including the foot board for the bedframe were lost, the whole bed could not be assemble anymore(300$ bedframe), had to go to IKEA and get spare parts. Some side tables and TV bench were also damaged. We called, the guy said fill in a form and email it, we did that and nothing after that. They didn't even bother answering the phone or replying to our email after that! All in all,very unprofessional. I gathered that most moving companies are more or less like this , still, I don't recommend them at all!

First this is mid-class company, and they have really good rate. If you have tight budget, I tell you try this company. They are not like big van lines. this is a fact. But in this price margin they really did very good job for me. Before I find them I asked quote couple big van lines. Their price very very high, and they never give any free storage. Finally I moved with Real Canada Wide Moving and I got good and and honest service. I have 2000 lbs and it cost to me $1645 + tax. I ADVISE YOU NEVER TO USE THIS MOVING SERVICE! At first they said moving our furniture from Alberta to Ontario would be $1700. Then after 2 weeks of no invoice, that they said would provide as soon as possible, they came up with a price of $4000. UNBELIEVABLE! They then demanded this money in 30 minutes. Of course I didn't send it immediately, so they decided they weren't going to deliver my stuff anymore. This company is VERY unprofessional and rude, ESPECIALLY GABRIELLA. PLEASE don't use them.

Horrible experience. The price was double than what I was told, it took twice as long to get to my destination and my stuff was damaged. Not impressed at all. The drivers were extremely rude and the customer service was horrible. I had to call multiple times to know what was going on (when are you arriving, what time etc) and I never got clear answers. Would not recommend.

I had four dozen moving blanket for them to use and they didn't even use 5 of them. I have boxes missing and have been delivered other peoples things. The truck was so packed when it arrived, someone else large TV was thrown on the top of the load and was falling down. When they opened the back doors a bunch of things fell out onto the ground. They took no responsibility for any of it and have no shame in the way they do business. If you value any of your things do not use these movers. I'm so thankful that my photos and other memories that I cherish most made it. The other thousands of dollars worth of damage is something I'll have to bear. If you do decide to use them get extra insurance. They only paid me $250.00 on a claim that will cost me close to $7,000.00 to fix and replace what was damaged, lost and broken.

First off all, I have never taken the time to write a review of a company- either good or bad- This company though went beyond any expectations. I had, beyond what any other company has ever done. So I decided to let the people know how grateful and how highly I think of their commitment to service. A lot of other companies in a lot of other industries could learn valuable lessons from these guys. They conduct business at a level that is higher than I thought still existed. We had been planning our move from Red Deer, AB to Montreal, QC for over three months, and had scheduled our move with Eric a month in advance. Due to problems with closing on our home we had to re-schedule our move 2 times at the last minute. They accommodated this without any penalty even though we know it had to have cost them business. Then after loading our belonging on our day of the move we were informed we would not be allowed to move into our new home for another day. Again they accommodated us and held everything in their warehouse. Two other problems arose that they immediately took care of. Their employees made us feel that it was their privilege to be our movers and treated all of our belongings like it was their own. We were especially impressed with the care they took in handling our antiques. Our overall experience with them was A+. Because of that I have taken the time to write out this review of praise. Special thanks go out to Ashley, and Nicole. We will refer you to anyone/everyone in the future. Thanks again!

I have never taken the time to write a review for any company. This is the first time I have felt compelled to do so. First of all, do not trust the price they quote you. I specifically asked what were the "hidden charges" before I booked them. They listed 3 (stairs, tv, mattress cover). I was then hit with SEVERAL HUNDREDS of dollars in additional hidden charges when the men came to take my belongings (packing charges, disassembling charges, a delivery charge that had previously been quoted as "included", etc.). Meanwhile, I had to be out of my old place so all I could do was sign. I decided to take it up with their representative who booked my move (Nicole). Next, I walked down my hallway and found pieces of my furniture scattered around. I collected what I could but I am still missing pieces. When I spoke to Nicole, she did not take off any of the other surprise fees even though I had her original quote in writing. She did agree not to add her new surprise fee, a service fee for paying with visa. Meanwhile, they had my belongings, so what could I do??? Next, they delivered my furniture cracked, with large gashes, and incomplete (clearly, they'd lost things as early as my previous home). My boxes that I covered in "Fragile" tape are crushed at the bottom of heavy piles of other boxes. They leaned pieces of my desk up against the window, breaking the screen. And finally, the icing on the cake, the movers said they would be back to put my furniture back together because they had to get their tools. That was two days ago. I just got off the phone with Nicole who told me she would not do anything about it because she's already done me too many favours (i.e. waiving the additional visa charge). Choose someone else for your move!
