This was my second time I was using Palmerston Moving! I first found them as a recommendation from a friend, but they were so wonderful to work with that I've always coming back to them! To book the move, you call Evgeny or Andrei and explain how many rooms, stairs, etc and he will help you figure out how many people to send and give you a time and price quote. The movers are always prompt! I only have good things to say about them -- professional! careful with my belongings! and extremely helpful! They bring wardrobe boxes for you -- so all you have to do is move the clothes from your closet to the box and back to the closet again, without messing with the hangers! When I move again, I will absolutely be back for my 3rd round! :)

My move yesterday went without a hitch, almost! The guys worked hard throughout the day and packed the truck to the best of their ability. Everything was wrapped extremely well and absolutely no damages to any furniture or personal items. The only hiccup was that the truck was not big enough. The owner followed up with me after the truck left and I expressed my discontent with having to make a few additional runs with 2 cars to pick up the leftover items. He made a phone call and had a new truck over at the house in 45 minutes. While I still needed to spend time meeting the movers and coming back to our new home, it wasn't too much of an issue considering the owner went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Financials have been dealt with and everything was as discussed - no hidden costs or surprise charges and it actually worked out to be less time that originally quoted. Happy with Palmerston and their customer service. A+++

These guys were AMAZING! This was a 3-bdrm house move to a slightly smaller 3-bdrm house. They showed up a few mins early and was able to get their truck in to a perfect spot for a speedy load up of the truck (kuddos to the driver!) They moved everything swiftly and carefully and wrapped all the furniture so well that not even a scratch could have been made if they accidentally rubbed against anything, which they did not. Not one piece of furniture touched a wall, doorway or railing. The guys were friendly, social and professional. The unload went faster than the loading and they even had the time to discuss the layout of the back patio furniture! ha! Everyone was very professional from the customer service rep I spoke to a few times to the moving consultant I met with to determine our needs and the 3 guys that actually performed the move. The rate they quoted me was the best I'd seen when I compared to other moving companies and I was blown away by their service. I'll certainly be using them again when we move back in to our newly renovated home. Great Job Palmerston Moving!

Their quote (in the beginning) was a little higher but we felt more confident in their accuracy and felt the others in the end would be the same, if not higher. We had four men do an approximate 1000 square foot condo. They showed up on time, were personable, professional and took the utmost care with all of our belongings. They pointed out scratches on furniture from previous moves not associated with Palmerston to ensure we knew in advance of any previous damage prior to our move. Choosing Palmerston took a lot of stress off our move. We would highly recommend them if you want one less thing to worry about when you move.

A wonderful experience. We used Andre's team to move our entire home furnishings and 50 boxes of miscellaneous items in October 2018. His people showed up early and worked right through the day until the job was complete. They packaged and wrapped glass tables, crystals, and a variety of sensitive valuables. They came ready with thick wrapping materials, bubble wrap, tape and all the boxes we needed. Everything arrived in one piece! Wow! Not even a crack. Impressive. They even took the time to put the furniture in all spots requested. They we were available on short notice, and their pricing was excellent. I would recommend Palmerston to anyone looking for a a reliable, efficient and thoroughly professional moving company.

Vasilii and Alex, the movers, were personable and careful. Despite the move being more time consuming and costly than I had anticipated (it's not easy for anyone to navigate three flights of narrow stairs, let alone those carrying heavy furniture and boxes), I felt enormous relief at having these two capable movers handle my belongings and transport them to my new home. Palmerston was terrific! From the several pre-visits to drop off packing materials, to the multiple checks on elevator scheduling, delivery route and special instructions, I was never concerned for the 15 computers that I house in my residence for my server lab. Arkadi assured me that all would be fine, and he looked after everything personally. The crew chief was efficient and direct and when he showed with the large truck, he first went over absolutely everything about the move (we had the computers, tons of pictures and 2 home offices - we pre-packed as much as we could and then the crew took over and did everything else!) It took me a week to dismantle my server farm before moving, and after the move, I didn't have one issue with any of the boxes (they bubble-wrapped everything and put all the computers into a separate small van, to ensure they were secured and safe). We moved on a Friday afternoon and I was fully back up and running by Sunday, no issues with any of the equipment and not a scratch on any of the newly painted walls (after hauling 2 huge metal desks through some very tight corridors to my office). I won't use anyone else; they move your stuff like it's their own!

We recently moved from Toronto to Niagara Falls and used Palmerston for their full service (including packing and unpacking). They were very responsive with all my phone calls/emails etc. I was moving from an 850 sqft condo to a two story detached home. We also had quite a bit of stuff in a storage locker. I received an estimate for $6200 for the entire move. It was explained to me that they would pack on day 1, move on day 2 and unpack on day 3. I called them just 1 week before my move and they were able to accommodate me. They adjusted the plan to do the packing on day 1 and do the move and unpacking on day 2. I was nervous about them not being able to do it but they were very fast. They took good care of the furniture and packed everything quite well. They did not unpack everything but mostly because we were not sure where to place everything initially. While they got most of the job done it felt like they were in a rush to leave. There were 3 guys who spent 4.75 hours on day 1 and 4 guys who spent 8.85 hours on day 2. Thats about 50 hours of work. With a not very generous tip and tax I paid $6326. They later calculated that I had paid too much for the hours worked and refunded me $950. So why 4 starts? Because even with the discount the cost came out to ~108 bucks an hour per person to help us. I know it includes the truck and packing material but I still felt it was a bit too pricey for the service. I have used large international moving companies before who provided a much more "white glove" experience within a comparable price point. I also did not like receiving exactly 5 emails from them asking me to post a review. I would probably still recommend them to friends/family. They are a solid option if you are in the GTA.

Palmerston Moving provided services for packing and moving the contents of our home. We had four packers for the first day and six movers the second day. We had an outstanding experience both days. The teams were on time (early!) each day and were very professional. We had a meaningful amount of sophisticated exercise equipment that needed to be moved and the team used the manuals I provided to dismantle and reassemble it all in perfect working order. The packing was done with the utmost care and the moving was equally careful with zero damage to either home (no paint touch ups or anything required after the move) and all items moved were treated as if they were their own.
