Very nice experience with Pacific, they were not my primary choice, but I’m delighted that I chose them. The first company I spoke with, did not come across as being concerned with my assignment and the communication with them was not very clear, so I decided to look for an alternative. I called Max at Pacific Moving Canada and the first thing that dawned on me was the clarity of outlining how they work. They promised to get back to me within an hour they called. We agreed on terms of service, pricings and the moving date was agreed. They came on time and had all my stuff moved within a few hours. I won't go into too many details on how I ended up working with Pacific Moving Canada, but George has been pretty quick to give me an answer and a fairly reasonable estimate of how long it would take to get my delivery. I had a partial container delivery, twenty some boxes of furniture and clothes, that had to be moved from our parent’s house in Calgary to my brand new flat in Toronto. The delivery has been fairly accurate. The estimate on price and duration close enough and the company was responsive to inquiries. I’m glad that that I have chosen this company among the others.

Mike and his team were AMAZING! We had planned on our move in the summer and last minute things got delayed with the new home. In the end, our move was done in January and Pacific were flexible to accommodate our moving needs. They go above and beyond what you would expect from a moving company. Price was clear, competitive, no hidden fees/costs or extra charges. They were on time both times, happy, courteous and super efficient. They have different options of service, too if you need the whole package or just extra help for your move. Check them out and hire them! You will be pleased with Pacific moving! Thank you, guys!! I was putting off writing this review in order for the company to answer our calls/emails to rectify the situation. Never happened. We booked our move from Ontario to Alberta months in advance and were given a two day window to keep open for the movers to come. They didn't show up in those two days and finally came the next evening as we were leaving for our sons graduation. Our oldest son was not able to attend as someone had to stay for the movers. We were told on the contract that our belongings would arrive 8 to 10 days later so we rented an RV and booked our family vacation to travel across Canada. On the evening of the 5th day we received a call that we must be at our new address the next morning by 8am or we would have to pay for storage. We lost money on our reservations and had to drive 17 hours non stop and made it at 7am. The movers arrived early and were there before 8. Every piece of ikea furniture we had was disassembled and we were never given the pieces that were removed, so we have furniture that is still in pieces. Our bikes and all furniture were disassembled and never put back together. We were given $100 to compensate the loss of time for the movers showing up 3 days early which in no way covered the loss in reservations or the amount we need to pay for missing pieces and tools we need to purchase to reassemble our furniture and bikes. Not to mention the strain it put on our family to lose our vacation and miss a graduation. Worst moving experience ever.

We moved with Pacific Moving Canada and it was my first long distance move. Very fast and professional moving service. I was told that delivery takes from 8 to 11 days. After 9 days I received my belongings and was extremely satisfied! I would say they are extremely careful and excellent packers that I have ever seen. The final cost was based on the final weight and it was exactly what I paid. I'm completely happy with my choice. I do recommend Pacific Moving Canada.

I moved from Mississauga, ON to Cold Lake, AB at the end of March 2021 and it was a surprisingly pleasant experience. Very reasonable prices, no hidden fees and the delivery date was 2-weeks earlier than expected. The sales rep (Jack) and dispatcher (Alex) kept in constant communications and the movers were in and out in no time. I would recommend Pacific Moving Canada but, I think it'd be a good idea for them to disclose that they're affiliated with Centennial Moving (sub-contractor/contractor?) because the e-transfer deposit, moving truck and mover uniforms were Centennial branded and I was confused as to why that was as I had gotten different quotes from both moving companies. Regardless, it was a positive experience overall.

Everybody involved with Pacific moving was very professional. They did their job well and I was happy with everybody that I dealt with. I have heard many horror stories about moving companies that bring in labor that have no idea what they are doing or stand around smoking and swearing half the time. The reason I was willing to pay a little bit more with the company I chose was because they were using Pacific moving at our end and I can find almost no negative reviews at all. Although the move did cost a little bit more then anticipated I cannot make any complaints about anything but the price. John was extremely friendly and the driver who I believe was Eugene was fantastic. Thank you to all the staff i dealt with for making this very large move fairly painless.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a moving company. I booked them 3 months in advance. They said they would come between 3 and 5 in the afternoon and showed up at 6:30. At that time of the night the men did not want to do the move and made it very clear they were not going to move me that evening. They promised to return the next morning at 8:00 am. I then received an email from the manager who made up a story about the management of my building not allowing the movers to do the move that evening and said his men would never promise to come back the next day. He outright called me a liar. They didn't come back for 4 days and cost me another months rent. This manager was the rudest man I have ever dealt with. Then they doubled the cost quoted to me because they said the weight was double but they did not ever provide proof. I would run as far away from this company as possible. It was the most unprofessional movers I have ever used and was the worst experience I have ever had. The manager was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. Run, run far away from these people

I was quoted a nice price, the movers and the office were always in constant contact with me. The movers moved my things in and they were very kind. If you're moving long distance like me, I would trust this company to handle your relocation.

The good: We EVENTUALLY received all our items and very little was damaged or broken. The movers themselves were quick and efficient. The bad: It took more than DOUBLE the expected time to receive our stuff. We were told it would take 3 weeks (14 business days) to receive our things and in reality it took 7 weeks (35 business days) . The company told us that due to covid they had trouble coordinating our trip out West (which basically means they prioritized their profit over their customer service/ promise and would rather make their customer live without any furniture/items for 7 weeks than arrange for their things to be delivered at the time it was promised) The ugly: We were left in the dark about the mistake/"difficulty coordinating our trip" for the first 20 business days and we had to ask for an apology/ reconciliation. In the end we hardly received an apology and only got $50 off our amount for the "inconvenience." The customer service was absolutely awful and if you decide to go with this company expect to be left in the dark and to have their profits prioritized over your service.

This would have been a much higher rating except my mattress and headboard are missing! So now I get to sleep on my couch! Moving is expensive and after all the costs here I am sleeping on my couch, I'm also wondering what else didn't make it in the move than I haven't realized yet. So after they locate my mattress/headboard they tell me I will get it in a minimum of two weeks. You have to be kidding me. Worst thing to have missing from my move, moving is stressful this made it much worse.

Our move was somewhat complicated --- we sold a house in one province, and moved to a temporary location for a few months while a house we were purchasing in another province was being completed. Some of our things were moved to the temporary location, and some were moved and stored for awhile at the new location. At the end of it all --- everything was accounted for, nothing was lost. Everything was picked-up, transported & delivered in a timely fashion. Everyone we dealt with --- estimators, movers, drivers, customer service reps, etc. --- was friendly and professional. We are pleased with the service we received.

We used Pacific for a long distance move and the move went well. They were very organised in their quotation process, including all the insurances, packing and moving. The cost came in a less than a lot of other full service providers. We felt comfortable with the crew and the fact that they could deliver on time. Not one item was was damaged, scratched or marked. I moved from Ontario to BC and my overall experience was positive. The staff were very prompt in responding to emails; and the movers punctual. I got my belongings in good condition. Now comes the bitter part and hence the three stars!!! Pacific Moving charged me 350$ more (on top of the base price) for a mistake that they commited and are not taking any responsibility for it. I had clearly indicated that I would need storage and a delayed delivery and it was agreed upon that I don't need to pay any extra as the quote includes 4 weeks of free storage. But when the goods arrived in BC they mailed me to say that I have to take the delivery or pay $450 more for storage and delivery at a later date. After a few mails back and forth, they reduced the delta price to $350. I am still at loss for a mistake that they made. Pacific Moving - Please pay more attention to your customer's needs next time and own up to your mistakes.

My movers were incredibly fast and careful with all of my belongings. They put extra wrapping and tape on anything I didn't properly pack - Leave it to the professionals! 10/10 would absolutely recommend and I would use this moving company again.

The girl in the office was fantastic in organising everything, on the relocation day, the team arrived with a fully equipped truck and everything went without a hitch as they wrapped everything in the blankets for maximum protection. Great experience with these guys. Doing business with them was simple and quick: they showed up in the estimated window and knocked out the job efficiently. The movers we were assigned were Aleksii and Dimetry. Our move was fairly simple - elevators at both locations, we were mostly packed up when they arrived - so the job was pretty straight forward, but it still took awhile (7 hrs). They were gentle (didn't break anything nor scratch the walls too much) and had enough supplies to pack up my glassware. Thanks for the services!

If you want your things to be delivered safely to wherever you want to go in the country, just call the company that will get the job done the first time – Pacific moving. They did justice to my money. Their service was exactly what I needed – a mover who could do all the work for me within time and with reasonable rates. They did all this by being punctual when coming to my place to begin the move as well as delivering within schedule at the other end. Their care and skills meant that they didn’t damage any of my valuables, and they gave me a friendly quote such that I was able to pay without any difficulties.

I used Pacific for a move from Surrey, BC to Moncton. I was skeptical, as many of these long distance companies have very bad reviews, but I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did, as I saved a lot of money by not shipping via UHault boxes or renting a truck, which would have cost me much more. Plus this includes door to door delivery. The experience was very positive, as they are extremely responsive. I dealt with Alex and Sam, and they always responded to my inquries, and so there was never any anxiety. The move was confirmed by mail a few days before and the movers arrived on time. They were professional and friendly, and even disassmbled my furniture, and encased my mattress in plastic. All furntiture was wrapped up for me. I received everything in perfect condition. Nothing was damaged, and everything was there. The only thing to be aware of is that for a coast to coast move, expect a long wait. I wasn't prepared for such a long time (2 months), but I think that all moving companies such as these take this long for these types of moves. Also, the final cost was more than the initial estimate on the website, but I guess that is based on different assumptions. I would definitely reccomend Pacific, as the move was hassle and stress free.

These days companies are far too often, swamped by negativity online, even if the majority of the positive experiences go unnoticed. I just wanted to give these guys their dues for making my relocation a hit rather than a miss. We recently had Pacific Moving take our items from Vancouver, BC to Toronto and were very inspired with the entire process. The contacts at the head office, made what would usually make for a stressful situation painless and easy. Clear and instant communication despite my numerous emails etc. The men who picked up the items on the day gave me a time between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM. When they rang me at 9.20 AM into the proposed pick-up window, I was beyond euphoric. Basically nice men, professional and very fast. Finally, the quoted amount was honored and we knew exactly what to expect in terms of payment owed and expected delivery times. Would recommend their services. Remember this. Thank you again.

Pacific Movers was chosen based on the estimate they gave us, the fact that they had a team that could help pack, and how soon they were able to start the move. Many of the things we were shipping were software, computers, expensive items that needed to be handled with care. We are too old to pack everything up on our own and this company did it for us in a very professional manner. The movers displayed amazing packing skills. My furniture and electronics were put together meticulously and I was able to find any box I looked for. Afterwards, they packed all our stuffs with proper packing materials and then loaded them onto the truck. They moved us quickly and the driver was also very professional and helpful.

I have now relocated for work three times in three years around Canada. The first two relocation's were far from stress-free or satisfying. The third time using Pacific was the real deal. Representatives from Pacific worked around my availability schedule to set my expectations properly. They walked me through the process over email, phone and text. I gave them a target window for delivery and knew the window was 8-days wide, but they delivered within 48 hours of my primary target date, which was absolutely amazing! The movers did not damage anything. Their truck-crew for pick-up in Saskatoon and drop-off in Toronto were thoroughly professional and pleasant to work with. In short, it's not typical to want to write glowing reviews about your movers (at least in my experience). But this was such an exception to the rule that I felt absolutely compelled to purr about them publicly. I highly encourage anyone to check out Pacific!! I usually only leave 5-star reviews to support businesses, but my wife and I had such a terrible experience with Pacific Moving this time and I don't want anyone else to feel scammed like we did. I'll tell you the full story, but the gist of it is: DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEIR REVIEWS – This is not the same company it was two years ago. There are much better moving companies out there. We used Pacific for our move from Toronto to Edmonton in 2018. They took apart some of our furniture and reassembled them in Edmonton in like 20 minutes. A couple of items were damaged but not too bad. We were happy with it overall (it costed us $1,872 for a 1 bedroom+den condo). This year, we decided to use Pacific again for our move from Edmonton to Burnaby, BC. Everything seemed the same, even their email templates. They still had great reviews on Google. I sent them a list of our furniture (2 bedroom condo) and they quoted $2,031. We accepted it and paid them a $150 deposit on Aug 12th. Then 1 day before the pickup, on Aug 25th, 2 weeks after getting the deposit, they casually mentioned in an email that "they will try to take it apart but will not assemble it back at the destination, please confirm that will work for you?". At that point we had already paid a deposit and we had to empty the rental condo within 6 days and it'd be incredibly difficult to find another moving company to pick up the furniture with such a short notice. I tried to convince them otherwise but they didn't even reply to that email, so I realized we had to take it. Once they weighed the furniture, they raised the quote to $2,667, even though almost all of our furniture were the same items we brought from Toronto, so they couldn't weigh much more... 10 days later they drop things off at the destination. Several items are damaged. Mirror is cracked, a storage container's lid is missing, the bed drawers are missing some wheels, ... And we hear from the movers that it's not like they never reassemble the furniture, they do, but for some specific moves like this one, their manager tells them not to reassemble the furniture (so the rule doesn't apply to all customers...). I call Pacific support, no one is picking up. I asked the movers to ask their manager to call me. He (Eric I think) calls me and says they're not reassembling the furniture because they're IKEA and IKEA takes time to assemble and they have other bookings today, and "we told you before". I tell him I'd pay extra to send someone now or later to assemble the furniture, because I'm out of city for the next few weeks and my wife can't assemble everything by herself, to which he says we're booked up until mid-October. He clearly didn't care at all and sounded like I'm bothering him. I have friends who've moved 4-5 bedroom houses from Edmonton to Vancouver for what we paid Pacific. And the movers reassembled everything. How can we be responsible for reassembling the furniture when they were taken apart because the moving company wanted to fit more in their truck and make more money? It's not like we asked for it. Their pricing is not cheap either ($0.53 per lb + hidden fees like $50 scaling fee, $0.11 per lb shuttle service in Edmonton + 12% of labor total for "Fuel Surcharge"). DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEIR REVIEWS – This is not the same company it was two years ago. There are much better moving companies out there.

I went from West Kelowna to Thornhill. Pacific moving Canada always answered our questions and all the movers themselves were great, hard working and well trained. The movers had to deal with moving us into a high-rise condo with impossible people that were employed for the condo. They never lost their cool and worked thru it. There was no damage to anything they took great care wrapping and unwrapping everything. All office employees and all movers were great and took great care of us.

I had Pacific Moving move my large pieces of furniture (GYM stuff, books) and washer, and dryer from Ottawa to Richmond, in November. They were extremely careful with everything. The guys brought a huge and very heavy treadmill down from the second floor without a scratch. I would definitely hire them again. I would rather pay a little more than deal with repairs!! Also, the guys were nice, accommodating (they moved furniture around so i could decide where i wanted it) and polite. Besides that they took care of my BMW X2. So I guess you get what u pay for.

I did my research before booking in a moving company as we needed to make sure it was someone who knew what they were doing for a big move like this and Pacific Moving lived up to all the fantastic reviews we read. We made a good choice and I would recommend Pacific Moving to anyone. The manager Trey called the day before the move to confirm all the details that had been arranged and to see if we had any other questions or concerns. The guys arrived on time the day of the move and had ample equipment to ensure all our furniture and belongings were wrapped and protected from damage. The guys were reliable, friendly and professional and took the stress out of the day. Out furniture arrived in Regina on schedule and the guys unpacked the truck without any issues. Given the size of our move, we were worried about many of the complexities but Pacific Moving are truly professionals who do this all the time and know what they are doing. We would definitely use this company again.

When my move started I was really stressed out. I had to think out a way to move a family of 5, and to make everything by myself, since my wife had to deal with our small children. We had to be in Toronto on 3 of November, but on 25 of October nothing was ready at all! On Wednesday 26th I was still passing my job to another guy, had no time to pack, although we were to leave from our place on 28th of October! Fortunately I called Pacific Moving Canada, and this crew solved all of my moving problems. When I arrived home in evening I saw all our stuff packed in boxes and ready for moving. My wife told me that during the day two guys came to our home and took care of everything. The second day, and it was 27th of October the guys from Pacific were at our doors by 12.00 p.m. They loaded everything in the truck so we had time to check if we didn’t forget anything in our old home and could say good bye to it. I won’t go in too many details, but after we arrived our furniture followed, and it was delivered on 6th of November, in good time and great shape.) Thank you so much guys, you made everything easy for us and we wouldn’t have managed to do this move without you!

They wrapped everything well with blankets/tape and even a few items they wrapped with cardboard on top of the blankets for extra protection. This was my first experience with any kind of moving company. What a great company to work with! Their attention to detail is great. We had several boxes of very fragile antique china as well as some large cabinets that needed to be moved from B.C. to Ontario and everything arrived intact. They checked all the locations and accesses well beforehand. The only issue they had was getting their large trailer up the highway into rural Kootenay. However they rented a smaller truck for transfer and everything went great. The team even went to extra effort (and I do mean effort) to get a large cabinet located properly at my new home. Highly recommend the Pacific Moving team!

3-bedroom home move Toronto to Vancouver. Pick-up: A single small truck was sent that could not accommodate our load as they failed to review the updated items list. The move was delayed by hours as they had to send another crew with a different truck. Delivery: The items arrived 17 days late (over the maximum side of their estimate). The communication was poor with us having to constantly follow up and beg for information. A number of items came damaged including furniture, lamps, and projector screen but was not covered through insurance as I didn't purchase it for additional $895. Overall, I would not recommend this company.

We moved furniture from a 10 x 20 storage unit and also some items from an apartment from Toronto to Winnipeg. I called Max to schedule the dates to get a moving quote. The movers arrived at the scheduled time and were very helpful in explaining how the move would go and answered all my questions. They then followed me to the storage facility and loaded that. They took extra care when loading our furniture. After loading all the furniture on the truck, they left for storage. When they arrived at our destination, they unloaded everything carefully, moving items where we wanted them. I would highly recommend them.

I was recently call by Lucas from Pacific Moving Canada and he was looking for a highly rated movers in the company to help with a 53 foot semi trailer of his to unload. From start he was very professional. He said he was very careful who he was choosing to help. He had a game plan i guess. He wanted to make sure that Id have three professional movers and that we would be there at seven o'clock in the morning. When I showed up at a quarter till him and his other driver David all ready started getting things ready they had the doors open ramp out and they were already laying down the floor runners to protect the floor and door jam protectors. Every thing was shrink wrapped and blanketed the boxes were all clearly marked the load was packed beautifully! They knew where everything was going and we unloaded the trailer in about five hours and we even put all there stuff back together. Ive worked with lots of moving companies and Ive never seen a cleaner more professional company then Pacific Moving Canada. Victor is making the moving business better. It took five hours for everything to be packed on the truck. It took three weeks for delivery and three and a half hours to be unloaded. Everything went as expected. The moving team of two arrived on time. 10 minutes before the initial move I got a phone call from customer rep and was told that movers are on their way and will be on time. I chose Pacific because it has been in business for many years. Decent moving company. I moved from Edmonton to NS with a two bedroom apartment. Their price estimate was close, though our apartment was small. We had a lot of books though so perhaps it all evens out. This company contracts the loading and unloading to other small companies but it worked out fine. No losses or broken items. Took about 2 weeks. The only caveat is that one of the bicycles was handled harshly and the shifter was moved to non functional. I repositioned it and all was well but others might not know how to reset them. All in all good value.

Do NOT use this moving company. As a matter of fact, it is probably not the worst in Vancouver, but there is many reasons here for you to not use this company. We used Pacific moving with my boyfriend, and it’s been a terrible experience, generating a significant waste of money. The first trouble happened with the storage. One of the reason we choose Pacific Moving Company over any other companies because they offered 2 weeks of free storage. After we paid the deposit, our contact explained to us that even though the storage was free, they had to store our furnitures in Toronto (where the storages are), and loading/unloading the truck would cost an extra 150 $. Therefore, we had to cancel the storage and find another one on our own, less than 2 weeks before our moving. We finally found 1 month of storage for 100 $ in our destination city. Then, about a week before the moving date, we received a call asking to change the loading day. Everything was already set on our side around the moving date (flight tickets, check-out with the appartment agency, elevator booked, carpet cleaners, an hotel for the night before our flight) I tried to visit the Pacific Moving Company office in Davie street (the address I found on the website), but I couldn’t find any office at this address; only a retirement house, where the concierge said he never saw any moving company office here. Anyway, I finally managed to reach someone on the phone, and after an argument, we finally managed to stick to the initial moving date. Then, they charge you based on the weight. Since we found it a bit dodgy (they weight the truck in their own location, you can’t be there to see it), we weighted everything ourselves, and found about 1000lbs. The final weight they ask us to pay for was 1600lbs... Of course, there is absolutely no way to dispute this difference, but we know it and have to pay for it anyway. Then, we had to wait for about 2.5 months before getting our stuff back : it seems to be that they want to fully load the truck before moving, so if you're moving during a quiet period like winter, they can keep your stuff during an entire month somewhere in your last city before their truck get fully load and can leave. I totally understand the need for them to monetize the trip, I just find it very dishonnest, irresponsible and disrespectfull to lie and hide informations to their costumers. There is nothing about this story of moving period on their website, and they never talked to us about this on the many emails we shared about the move, whereas they had lots of opportunity to tell us about this fully loading truck story when we asked maybe three times how long would it take to get back our stuff in Montreal. But telling us could have make us choose another company, so of course they never mentionned that. Because of this massive delay, we had to pay 800 extra dollars in an airBnB, then to buy a new bed, kitchen supply, blankets, and any furnitures we needed to live in our new unfurnished appartment while we were waiting on their truck with everything we needed in it. Finally, once our furniture arrived, after we rented the storage ($100) for nothing, and after we bought pretty much everything, we complained (again) about the poor service we received. Pacific Moving generously offered a discount of $100. But a few hours later, they sent us another e-mail to explain that based on google street view, they saw the stairs of our house (first floor), and would have to charge an extra fee for that… guess how much… $100 ! We complained again about that, and they finally gave up on this one, so we did get our $100 discount, very much deserved. On the good side of things, almost nothing was damaged, the movers were kind and efficients, and again, almost nothing damaged, which is rare enough to be mentionned. To conclude, I really think that pacific moving are the least worst movers you can find in Vancouver, but really, what happened to us is really bad ! Try to avoid as much as possible.

Our two-bedroom apartment moving required navigating endless steps with large loads, however Val and Eugene were cheerful, uncomplaining and very professional. Val and Eugene arrived right on time, being efficient, very careful with our belongings and furniture and did an excellent job of packing and s ecuring into the tractor trailer. Most of the furniture and appliances were wrapped in extra blankets, without me even highlighting this point. All in all, really good moving service.

Used this company to move from Ontario to Alberta. Asked numerous questions before hiring company. They subcontracted to Centennial Moving, who had terrible service. Shipment was split up to accomodate their shipments. No communication as to what was even going on. Items were damaged, and others were missing. Shipment ID stickers were moved around, and additional ones were added after pickup. In the end, had to reschedule move-in help 3 times, and final shipment was over a month late (and most of the every day use items were, of course, in that shipment). Called after the final delivery to report damage and missing items (driver didn't have any paperwork), and was told I signed off on everything (again, driver didn't have any paperwork.)

My experience was largely positive. These movers were able to move my things half way across the country for much cheaper than alternatives. They were also efficient in their packing and very helpful during the drop-off process at the destination. The movers also missed packing some small items in the process (desk bolts and contents of a drawer). Moving is such a problem, but thanks to Pacific Moving, this problem disappeared. I moved from North Vancouver BC back to Markham ON with all my belongings. I didn’t have much stuff, but the truck was almost full with the boxes, some furniture and other stuff. I packed up everything tight, but movers took a good care and wrapped some of the furniture with additional layer to protect it from scratches. All my belongings were delivered in 10 days it was super fast! I received estimates from different moving companies, and most of the companies quoted me with a crazy price and 15 to 20 days delivery time. I do realize it is a long distance move, but it is ridiculous to offer move in 20 days. It was a good idea to go with Pacific Moving Canada. The truck came to Markham on 10th day. It was the same driver. I found all the items in the same position we left. No damages, no lost items. Everything went perfect. Thank you Pacific Moving Canada. I do recommend you to anyone I know.

Would never recommend this moving company to anyone. We have used them twice due to the reasonable pricing, but our second experience with them was nothing but issues. I had made more than one phone call to get info on booking/delivery dates and was told that our needs would be met no problem. But when it came down to it our belongings were delivered just about two weeks late. And on top of that they tried to charge us an extra $1000 for their error! Completely ridiculous. Management is not pleasant to work with. Even the employee who was packing our belongings told us that our delivery date would not be met so we need to tell management that we 'aren't able to pay' so we could get our stuff on time. When things did arrive every box and all of the furniture was covered in dust/dirt, including the mattresses that we had to request to be put into bags. Items damaged, screws missing to build furniture and walls scuffed from rough moving. The runners they used to place on the floor were disgusting and even with our request they refused to take off their shoes so we had to get our freshly cleaned carpet cleaned again after they left. I truly do not understand how people are giving 5 star reviews because I would not use this company again.

Beware!! These guys were over a week late, besides being late the day of delivery, so could not deliver to my then closed storage unit. The day of delivery, they asked/ demanded cash for payment only and would not deliver the next day. They said they would hold my items for a further month, at my cost, due to their lateness. Trying to resolve it, they tried to get me to meet them at a highway weigh station where they would offload my goods into a vehicle I had to hire, and to bring $1000 in cash. A while ago my neighbors were moving to their new home, it was an event for the whole neighborhood, since they were amazing people. When their truck arrived, I saw 2 movers, that seemed quite few to me, so I was curious how they shall manage to load everything on their own. Surprisingly, they did well and were fast enough. I booked Pacific Moving for my family’s move from BC to ON (2 bedroom condo) in early November after reading all these great reviews and somehow thinking they were a West Coast company. A different company later called, looking to reschedule our move just days before we were set to leave. We had no time to find another mover so we went ahead, despite this red flag. Pacific Moving referred to the new company as their ‘sister company’, however the movers on pickup and drop off didn’t know anything about that relationship and the inventory list was on the new company’s paper. The BC floods came the next week and our stuff still hadn’t left their BC warehouse. We knew at that point there was going to be a delay, but had no idea where our things were and Pacific Moving did a poor job of communicating updates, and they didn't have any information when we called. Then we got an update: due to the delay we were going to be charged an additional “fuel cost of 15%” (even after we’d received our Final Invoice which already included a 11% fuel surcharge). Our stuff has arrived late, over budget, and damaged - after poor communication from beginning to end. The actual movers on pickup and drop off were great though, I’ll say that. I would not use Pacific Moving again.

I want to thank to those guys who were so nice with us and it was the reason for choosing this moving company. We chose Pacific Moving Canada and didn’t regret about this! The movers came at 9 AM as it was established and immediately started working. The movers were very quick at packing the truck, and they did it a highest level of professionalism. All our things arrived safely at the destination. The price was a reasonable one and they finished their job in time. I would really advice these guys for any kind of move!
