Excellent company. Took a terrible situation and made it a breeze for our tenants who had to switch their move in dates due to construction. Tanya, in the office, worked with us all day to accommodate the tenants possessions. She is without a doubt a great help! Highly recommended!

This is a great moving company! I recently broke my wrist and was unable to move some personal items from Toronto to Cobourg. I called Tanya and she stepped up to the plate for me. The company was able to accomodate me on a rather last minute basis. The moving guys were terrific and fun to work with ..... very courteous and professional. Nothing was broken or scratched! And the company was able to schedule two drop-offs points. My move came in under the anticipated time. And I found the price to be reasonable. Well done!

I recently moved from Cobourg to Fenelon Falls. The owner of the company, Amy Davey, came to my home and went from room to room to evaluate the scope of the move. I received a very reasonable quote the same day. On moving day, the truck and the 3-man team arrived on time and set to work. I was amazed at how quickly, and efficiently they moved furniture, boxes and miscellaneous items from the garage onto the truck!! And all done with extreme care thus avoiding any damage. When we arrived in Fenelon Falls, the unloading & placement of furniture & boxes was just as efficient and careful. They also put the three beds together for me. The 3 fellows were very friendly & respectful. I would also like to mention Tanya Stanley, the Local Relocation Specialist/Administrator for the company. Several times, I called the office with questions and Tanya is knowledgeable, so very friendly and patient. The whole team at this moving company is just great!! If you're moving, I would highly recommend that you use Northumberland County Moving Company. You won't be disappointed! ????

Thanks to their efforts a d professionalism we ended up with a beautiful couch in our apartment. We will be repeat customers for sure!

Absolutely fantastic job by NCMC on our move in Oct., 2020. Tanya got us started by answering all our questions and giving us some great advice. The three gents doing the heavy lifting, Tyler, Ryan and Jake were professional, polite and personable. Not a scratch on the walls or a piece of nicked furniture. The experience was excellent, from the booking process with the office staff through to Tyler and his team conducting the physical move. This company is amazing! From quality to quantity service. We were supposed to get our key but it didn't come until the following day in the late afternoon and they managed to keep our things overnight and kept their cool through the whole ordeal! Amy really helped keep things bareable when I thought for sure there was no way to get it finished in time. We had one moving crew who were excellent from the start and when we couldn't get the key they had to go elsewhere and wait but it ended up we had another crew sent and the next time they were fast and efficient and they did the best job they could after coming from another job! All of them worked so hard and after such stress I couldn't have asked for a better moving team! They all deserve 5 stars and I highly recommend them every time! Thanks so much guys...❤️

We moved in September 2019 and I would highly recommend them!! Tanya and Amy in the office were fantastic to deal with from the start and the movers were polite and professional the whole day. Like most moves ours didn’t go exactly as planned and we had delays with lawyers and keys. The whole team was awesome and made the process easy, they took care of all of our things, nothing was broken, everything was moved quickly and cleanly with a ton of care. The guys worked hard! It couldn’t have been a better experience. They were very patient with unloading at the new house and us not marking the boxes as clearly as we thought....I don’t do many google reviews but the team stood out and deserves the recognition! If and when we move again down the road we’ll definitely be using Northumberland County Moving Company again!!!

They will give you an inaccurate quote to get your business but it ends up being hundreds of dollars more. They also give you smaller trucks than quoted and all your belongings won't fit but it's your problem. Many many items broken during the move and had to find family to finish the move. DO NOT RECOMMEND this company at all. NIGHTMARE MOVE at a very steep price.

Yesterday i moved using Northumberland movers. It was definitely the worst experience i have ever had moving. Previously i have used Stevenson’s in cobourg, 3 moves in fact since 2016. Each move was a great experience whereby the crew was very professional and competent. They were booked so i went to Northumberland movers. Initially things were pleasant until they realized the job would not be completed by 8 pm, a time reported to me by the team captain. Union rules stipulated that he need to clock out by 8 pm. It was 1 pm when he asked if the new owners of the house i was vacating would be okay with leaving the rest of the furniture the house. I was shocked. A very stressful day became a nightmare, i was faced with an incomplete move. I called another firm to see if they could help, they could not. I called the head office and explained my situation. It was quickly rectified but i had been traumatized with the news my move wouldnt be completed. The end result was a bill far in excess of the quoted amount, about double in fact. I have yet to hear from the owner about what their sol ution is. I have had to hire another firm to complete the job, they left many items in the house, another company is helping me tomorrow.tuned.

I hired Northumberland Moving Co for my move in Peterborough. They were by far the most affordable option and they did an amazing job. The three guys were all so polite and friendly. They were fast and efficient and we ended up with a bill much smaller than our quote because the guys were so fast. They arrived at 9:00 am to move my two bedroom apartment and were done by 11:30 am. They handled multiple flights of stairs with ease. The lady that helped me book was also very friendly.

Does not bother to return calls, does not respond to messages and apparently is not willing or refuses to provide estimates. One phone message claimed an excuse that due to a power outage the phone could not be answered yet power outage has no effect on land or mobile phone lines both with separate power sources. For a moving company this means that is impossible to trust your belongings to such an organization.

The work crews are also very courteous, caring, respectful and efficient. They run a smooth operation from start to finish.
