Provided us a cargo storage unit and delivered it onsite in our remote area and picked it up after the ice melted. They didn't charge us extra and they were top notch for us.

Our driver Jamie and the other movers did a great job loading and unloading, and nothing was damaged or lost. They had a positive attitude, and when our house closing was delayed a day (into our scheduled delivery day), they waited without complaint while we got the keys. Our cost was a little less than quoted as well, which was a nice bonus. I would recommend McMinniman's.

The movers did a great job, the furniture was in storage almost 2 months, before I got my apartment and they moved me in with out a hitch. Moving out of a slab house into a third floor walk up, with heavy furniture the men did a great job.

Truck arrived December 21st and we are still waiting for them to come back and finish the job (today is Jan. 3rd) as we were informed by the lead driver who picked up the empty trailer, that the dispatcher would be notified and that a crew of appropriate guys would be sent to complete the job. It was noted on our billing and load sheet that we had a very heavy cabinet which was located near the rear of the truck. Unfortunately the dispatcher must have missed that notation (and billing) and sent a crew of three (who worked their tails off on our move) who were not capable of lifting the cabinet into place (a two piece wall cabinet) which is now sitting in the middle of a room holding us up. This negative review is due to this and would have been considerably higher had the work been completed. UPDATED January 6th: Crew returned and lifted the top of the cabinet into place. Rating has been updated.

From the beggining of the quote to the final delivery of furniture from Fredericton NB to Nova Scotia, Perry was our driver who made loading a truck an art form, We can not say enough how great and fantastic they were and how smoothly everything went. I would totally recomend this company for moving. The price on the quote was what we paid , Thank you , you made a stressfull situation manageable.But if you take the insurance, you are not covered if you have packed the items yourself,FYI, we learnt the hard way when we tried to claim. Who ever was driving this truck in Ottawa has a total disrespect for fellow Canadians. Blatantly disregarded Ottawa municipal noise by-laws and harassed my family and neighbours with unacceptable honk honk honking. No one should help fuel this truck. Why don't you moooove on back to New Brunswick.

Do not under any circumstances use this company for your move. I was given false information on the pack day that caused problems on the load day (they don't break down patio furniture). The driver was rude, and when issues came up, he refused to help me find a solution: on three separate occasions, I had to call the moving company to have the issues resolved. He also missed tagging on about 20% of our stuff so we don't even know if everything is here. In transit between the load, the storage and the arrival, the legs of our 130-year-old dining room table went missing. We didn't want to eat on the floor so we bought a new dining room set. Two weeks later, the driver found the legs; they were lost due to his negligence by leaving them on blankets and the blankets being covered up. As a result, we weren't able to be reimbursed by claims. We now have two dining room tables and cannot get a refund on our new one.

When a different moving company kept dragging their feet about handling our request, McMinniman's stepped-up and took care of business! They were quick to respond and gave enough information about the details, while also being flexible and able to adapt to the various issues that came up during the whole process.We were never left hanging or jerked around, and always felt like things were being handled well, with competence and professionalism. We had a huge move, from New Brunswick to Montana, and McMinniman's worked as an affiliate of United Van Lines to get our stuff to us, even though we were already in Montana. Everything arrived in good timing, and the extra unloading details were handled by the driver, which made it even easier! McMinniman's is a great business and we recommend their service, hands down!

I WOULD NOT WANT THIS COMPANY TOUCHING MY STUFF! This company's driver was seen in crowd that has caused vandalism, terrorized residents, and spitted on passer-by'ers. Drivers have screamed at children. Please do not support this company and what they allow their employees to do to people.

Illegally parked a block from my home, blocking off traffic for several days, blaring horns and yelling at passing pedestrians. Won't stay quiet even during the night, where thousands of Canadian citizens were unable to sleep in their own homes due to the driver's selfishness and inability to think of anyone but himself. Shame on this company to allow an employee to use Company equipment to terrorize innocent Canadian citizens!

Driver was extremely disrespectful. They intentionally blocked traffic for hours, got into screaming matches with pedestrians and blasted their air horns at people walking by. Cannot recommend. Avoid!

Would have rated them 0 stars if I could. The movers did not send enough trucks and were unable to move all of our things. THANKFULLY our old neighbour allowed us to store some things there which we had to go and retrieve on our dollar as McMinima's said "too bad". I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company in my life. I was also horrified when I called there one day. The person who answers the phone was extremely rude and swore at me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Don’t recommend. Paid for 3 movers - 1 of them got annoyed with his co-worked and walked off job before finished. Charged me almost twice what they quoted and have not answered my communication asking for explanation.
