From.someone who will say is an experienced customer..over 20 moves or so, I can tell you these guys were super..on time, organized, tons of personality and just wanting to accommodate the customer...it was professional right from the start..Ryan, Marc and sorry cannot remember the other gentleman.. They were so awesome that we will be requesting these 3 when we move out of storage and into our new apartment...thanks guys and Amy (the super sales rep who gave us our quote) on making our downsizing a great experience. Thank you all.

Booked a move a month in advance, was told that the movers will call before arriving to confirm arrival time. Called to confirm details 4 days before the move, and was told that I do not have a scheduled move booked. DO NOT use this company! Unreliable, and you will never know if movers are going to show or not. Big risk.

At least 3 of the reviews on here are from office staff within this company! Jill Northcott is in charge of payroll, Amy Grady is a top sales rep. for Maritime moving and Thompson moving. THE TWO COMPANIES ARE THE SAME WITHIN THE SAME BUILDING USING THE SAME EMPLOYEES AND SAME OFFICE STAFF. Frankie Lowe is a top dispatcher. THIS IS AN EMBARRASSMENT AND VERY DECEITFUL. Moving in the middle of a pandemic is stressful enough. Add moving to a locked-down province in the middle of a pandemic, and the stress levels go off the charts! Maritime Movers - Thompsons Moving were top notch and looked after all our needs. The loading crew in Halifax were in and out without any issues and the crew in Moncton were so fun (professional - but great sports!). Service was excellent from the moving consultant Amy to the loaders and drivers. Everything was well taken care of. We even had them arrange for shipping our vehicles across country and the service was again excellent. Would recommend them to anyone looking to move. We checked with the other long distance movers and the were definitely cheaper. Our weight was 8400 lbs. when they did the quote they were at 8540. So Amy is an excellent estimator. All the other companies when you switch it to price for pound. Definitely check around before you commit. Allied was excellent to us.

I wish I could rate one star. My move was 6 days - I signed a contract for a moving spread and it was changed without my knowledge for 5 days later without telling me. Thus leaving me stranded without my items in another province. Then it was still late based on their own new moving time spread. Customer service stopped answering my emails and calls as soon as I paid. Plus on delivery, I was faced with an anti-vaxxer delivery person who even took his mask off. Moving is stressful and very expensive - this company made my experience terrible.
