amazing movers!!! we had Ray, Raphael, and Rattan moving us and they were all super kind , chatting with us the whole time being extremely friendly! my partner & I moved in together so they had to go to two units which was no problem at all! these guys were also VERY FAST! only about half an hour at each apartment! very quick unloading our place as well! would recommend over any other movers!

I found Let's get Moving through Google reviews, and I'm really glad I did. Customer service was great and patient with all my questions setting up my move. On move day Jordan, Michael and Prince were absolute rock stars from start to finish - taking good care to calmly, professionally and with good humour move my stuff. That included some ridiculously heavy/awkward furniture that I really care about and they were great about it, from wrapping it all securely to moving it up stairs. They actually helped calm me down on what could have been a really stressful move day, just by being so professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

The movers arrived at 8:15 AM (45 minutes late) dropped off three pieces at 9:15 AM and the job was finished at 9:45 AM. They charged me for 3h 30m 3.5h@$139.00 -Deposit $100 Cash: $386.50 then REFUSED to issue me my receipt and invoice for payment in full. It appears they want to evade paying HST to the Canada Revenue Agency. Poor customer service. And failure to complete the transaction by failing to issue an invoice.

They were on time and very friendly. The weather at the destination was quite bad, but they carried on without complaint and did a great job! I used Let's Get Moving to move out of Toronto to a location that was far enough is was deemed a long distance move, about 40 min drive. Totally understandable by me. The guys showed up on time and moved very fast. They were very professional, quickly wrapped things I hadn't and had the truck packed up and on the road in about 20 mins. For as quickly as they packed everything into the truck, they unloaded just as fast into my garage. Stellar service. Where things didn't add up for me was the price. What I was quoted was not what I was charged. I had to pay double what was quoted. I was extremely transparent when setting up the move with the services I required, the objects that needed to be moved and even sent them pictures to give context. I also wrapped all large items in plastic and had them ready to be moved at the front door when the movers arrived. It was a massive shock and a massive hit to the wallet. I do recommend this service but be extremely aware of the cost. The pricing model makes zero sense to me.

Professional service in setting up the move and arranging times etc. 2 movers & 1 truck. 1 mover was pro-active and hard working the other, seemed to need a lot of guidance, but I suppose that's normal. They took a lot of care with my furniture but I did find a scratch on my dining table afterwards that wasn't there before, that's always the chance you take. Cost was a little more than I expected. Even though there are no extra costs (Gas, etc), There's still the extra - travel to and from time that adds up. Overall I was pretty satisfied. Would recommend.

I was very happy with the three men that helped move everything for me great job they were quick. The only issue that I had was that they damaged baseboard. But it wasn’t too huge of damage that could not be fixed. It was not covered under my basic insurance. Another issue or feedback item is the fact that this is the only moving company That charges you when they leave their office and not when they arrive to the first destination. So that can be pricey. This was my first time using professional movers I was not disappointed it was a lot of money but I had peace of mind.

I decided to go with Let's Get Moving after researching a few options. They are the most professional mover who could provide a quick estimate (almost immediately) without you having to take photos of your place like other movers. They also offered the best rate and kept you informed along the way. On the moving day, the crew was not punctual, but in overall, they did a great job in wrapping up my stuffs, moving to the new place without damages, and disassembling / re-assembling my bed properly. Mahal Harpreet and Heiner were friendly, attentive to their jobs, and efficient, who helped me out of a moving hassle. I would definitely recommend Let's Get Moving's services, and will use them again next time I move.

Two starts because the movers were professional and did a good job taking care of our belongings. Customer service is also very attentive and they follow up on time with you. HOWEVER, be mindful that this company is VERY EXPENSIVE. I have never been charged for travelling distance prior and after the job is done (i.e. to the pick up location and from the drop off to their headquarters). They also wrap furniture with their own blankets which they unwrap after delivery, you might think this is nice touch but this adds a LOT to the billed hours (in my case only about 4-5 furniture items and it added 2 hours of work or $400!!!). In full transparency, I knew about the charges (not the amount, but that there were extra) but had to book with them because it was the only available company (called about 10 others… now I understand why this one was available!) I’ve used other good companies in the past with same quality service at a fraction of the price. Was going to use same company for my other upcoming move, but they took all my budget!! :’( There are WAY CHEAPER options out there, just book in advance. For that reason I would not recommend this company.

I chose them looking at their google reviews and low initial estimates. Moving company I had used last time ( which was and still is my first choice) was not available for my move days. The good part: Movers were friendly. They were careful while moving our stuff, No damages to our stuff or house. We had marked all our boxes, They followed labels and placed all items at their correct spots. They asked relevant questions where our box labels did not make sense to them and then acted accordingly. The bad part: Their sales staff was pretty bad with estimation. I used their storage service, I gave them list of all items we had and their estimate was 1 pod , in final move i was charged for 6 storage pods . ( 6 x the estimate ! And yo not this all stuff had still fit in 1 truck) They movers took insanely long for the move. For comparison - the last time we had moved ( around 2 years ago) with around 10% less stuff , 3 movers completed move in around 5 hours (similar distances ). For let's get moving- 3 movers took more than 10 hours from house to storage and then another 10 hours from storage to house! Movers took less time disassembling furniture and moving that to truck than just putting stuff in their storage. Some things simply didn't add up. The customer care though quick to pick up phone doesn't seem directed towards solving real issues or concerns like wrong estimates and movers taking insanely long. Summary : movers good but final charges are way too high!

Mike, Javier & Adul - Thank you for your help .This was my first move in GTA and heard very bad reviews from friends & family about the movers in GTA (Some of them very horrible). My wife did some online research and booked "Let's Get Moving". I was moving out of the condo and had very strict timings to follow for service elevator. Even after good reviews - I was bit skeptical. They were right on time and started wrapping/loading right away without wasting a minute. They were very professional and very polite. The entire move was very smooth. Thanks to these 3 gentlemen. I have another move coming up (this move was at temporary location). I have asked the admin team to provide me the same team for my next move. I highly recommend "Let's Get Moving" for your moving needs.

Our three movers were friendly and did their best. However, we were quoted 3-4 hours for our move (one that a different company did 3 years ago in 4 hours). Our move took 8 hours. The damage to our walls, front door frame and railings is worse than when I used to do my own moving as a student. I’m just glad it’s over. The three movers that were in our home were friendly and hard working, they just seemed very inexperienced. My husband had to help them with several heavy items, including a piano that we notified them about in advance, and were charged roughly $200 extra to move.

Highly recommended. The movers were professional, courteous, efficient and took great care in wrapping and taping items to protect during the move. Everything was strapped down and no damages reported. They even went to extra mile to put items where requested at the new residence, helped with a new TV delivery on arrival unasked and grabbed recycle bins off the lawn. I used them for my recent move and it was a good experience. The movers that helped us, Bryan Ponce and Hamid Zamani, were wonderful! They worked tirelessly and were extremely careful with our things. The booking service was also super easy, and very open about the conditions and costs. The only thing I would suggest for first-time users of moving companies, like ourselves, is to be mindful of the time and cost. We definitely underestimated how long it would take, and therefore budgeted way less than what it was. Be mindful of this when planning and budgeting for your move!

My girlfriends mother had a different mover goto her place to move her one room apartment, they moved her boxed stuff but said the furniture would take 6-10 hours more. ..I called let's get Let's Get Moving to do the rest of the move. Explained they only had the furniture left from third floor one bed room apartment, they said two man job. The sent the two men over , and as stated in our conversation it took them only 3 hrs. " they were actually done before 3 hrs" done quickly , professionally... and in quoted time. Thank you for your help , great job .....

I hired three movers for a relatively easy move (3 bedroom house to 3 bedroom house with one truck) and they did a great job. They were on time, carefully protected our furniture and disassembled and reassembled our furniture correctly. The only parts that could have been done better is one of the movers didn't wear a mask until he noticed everyone else was and the move was not cheap and it took longer than originally quoted and we had to cover all travel including the estimated time for the trip back to the warehouse.

A family member hired this company to move her one bedroom apartment across town. Cost 75% more than the quoted price. They were 4.5 hours late. They failed to complete the move in one day and had to complete it on the second day. This was an infuriating experience. The movers were extremely slow and inexperienced. It took ~15 hours to complete the move. This is pathetically slow and an obvious ploy to rack up more hours. I am sure the positive reviews on this site are fake given how horrible they managed this move.

I highly recommend Let's Get Moving. Three men the company sent on April 9 to my previous home in Mississauga worked equally very, very hard. They have arrived on time, they were organized with unnecessary conversation, they were mainly focused on the things that needed to be done with utmost care. They have worked without time wasted since I have left several times to run some errands. They have a system that one guy did all the wrappings, dismantling while the other 2 did the loading/unloading. When we finished loading and I saw the amount of boxes I got worried thinking that the public storage is too small to accommodate . But then, they have assured that they will store/package/organize in a manner that everything will fit right in. When all was done, I was relieved although I can see that the movers were all exhausted, but they still were able to put smile on their face. In addition, there were no surprises regarding the fees and all other extra costs. Happy that I have found this company from the flyers I have received from the mail. The company is efficient in calling for follow ups.

Overall, a positive experience. The movers were expedient and professional. Had to call the office multiple times as movers did not arrive when scheduled. A cushion was lost during the move, but was found post-move in the truck, but I had to contact the company and the mover multiple times for them to find it

I had Gagandeep and Karanbir move me on December 5th in Toronto. They were on time and thorough with the protection of my stuff which I appreciated. The moving company was very flexible and I appreciated that I was able to push the movers by a day to get organized. I would have been better off waiting another day. My only complaint was that the load out was a bit slow and not very systematic Karanbir at one point took only one or two items at a time to the truck when I’m sure it could have gone faster with a more systematic approach. The total cost was $800 which was about $250 higher than I had hoped for, but my stuff was all moved safely and so I’m sure the time and care Gagandeep took wrapping things for me was worth it. Would recommend (make sure you’re 100% ready to go when they arrive to save time)

The company was extremely communicative from the initial quote through to the end of the move. They carefully explained all costs and fees, itemizing a list and identifying any items that might require additional charges. The movers (Tony, Raymond and Shaq) were all very friendly and professional, arrived on time and began working immediately upon arrival. They were extremely careful with our belongings, wrapping what needed wrapped and being extra careful with the fragile items. They also adhered to any requests we had, such as not bothering wrapping things we didn't want wrapped and with the placement of items upon arrival at our new location. There were no hidden fees or charges and the cost was within our expected budget given their described fee structure (3 hour minimum, then 15 minute increments thereafter, etc. plus travel to and from their office). I would recommend using this company for a move and would use them again in future.

Divyank and Simratpal were incredible. Absolute magicians - we thought it would be impossible to fit everything into our Uhaul and they managed to tetris it together in a very secure way. Let's Get Moving took care of my move on September 5th and made the entire move the least stressful experience. Customer Service was great! Communication was clear. My movers Simratpal Sing, Divyank and Rattan were on time, courteous, professional, friendly and made the whole process worry-free. They not only moved my furniture but assembled furniture too. It was an insane job, and Let's Get Moving stunned me with their extraordinary above-and-beyond professionalism and service. From Katrina in the Sales department, to Amadou in Operations, to our 2 on-site movers Alex and Christian, I was knocked out by how every aspect of this move was handled with high attention to detail and absolute transparency. Extremely reasonable rates topped it all off. On the day of the move, Alex and Christian, 2 Mexican powerhouses with easy smiles and arms of steel, were 2 of the most professional, patient, hard-working, conscientious, FAST, easy-to-work-with people I've ever dealt with. Because of the nature of the move, there was a floor plan and a very specific order for how things needed to get on and off the truck -- and these guys took directions like a pro basketball team, eager to run plays and make suggestions based on their years of experience. These 2 in particular deserve to be acknowledged for a truly amazing job. I want to also mention how impressed I was about how hard everyone on the team works to make sure costs are transparent. What they quoted me was EXACTLY what I paid, and from Sales to Operations to On-Site crew, at every stage costs were verified and acknowledge by me. Professional, detail-oriented, efficient, effective, transparent, easy-to-work with, reasonably priced. What more could you ask for in a Moving Company? Thanks to Let's Get Moving for a fantastic Moving Experience -- my mother insanely tried to pack a 1-bedroom apartment with pretty much the entire contents of her 3-bedroom apartment, and these valiant movers actually accomplished it. The moving team was simply WoW. They did come an hour late but once they started they did a great job with moving all our belongings with care. The only drawback was when I was quoted I was told that the move would take four to five hours but in reality it took seven hours, that threw our budget off (I was warned by friends that this is the norm in the moving business! Expect to pay double of what is quoted). All in all the move went well and the team we had were great and did all they could to help set up our new home.

The guys that helped me move were helpful and efficient, and they continued to reassure me that they would take care of all my items. However, even though they wrapped my couch with blankets, after the move it was revealed that the corner of my couch was damaged. I assume they dropped it at some point without me knowing. As well, 4 dresser drawers were not secured properly and shifted in the truck and all of them broke. Although they were efficient, they weren't exactly as careful as I hoped them to be. I spent a lot of time researching which movers to use, and so I'm disappointed with the outcome. If you are going to hire these guys, my suggestion would be that you will have to watch them to ensure that they are careful with your items to avoid damage. Let's Get Moving called after this original post and we have worked out an arrangement to account for the damages.

Like many, I called around and landed with Let's Get Moving. I had a very positive experience with this company. My initial call with a million questions were answered professionally and directly by Shamika. After booking, whenever I had a question and I called, no long wait on the phone, directly able to speak to a representative. All very professional, friendly and willing to help. I had one mishap with box delivery prior to my moving day but it was quickly rectified and I appreciated Cedric's personal guarantee that it would be fixed. Payment options are easy and secure. The day of the move, the movers arrived on time. They were friendly, professional and moved quickly without 'dragging out the time'. They protected the flooring of both places, especially important in winter time (slushy and wet conditions outside). I had a very positive experience with my move (considering it can be a stressful experience) and would highly recommend Let's Get Moving.

The movers never showed up, and never called to inform us they will be delayed or cancel!!! I am so disappointed and upset with this company. At this point I would leave 0 stars if I could. A month ago we planned, booked and paid the deposit for our move today, June 1st. The arrival window was planned for 2pm-4pm, and the movers are supposed to inform us when they leave the facility. At 4pm nobody had called us so WE call them and ask where they are and how long they will be. The person we talked to at that time says that they're running late, we're their top priority and they will contact us as soon as they are on their way. An hour goes by (5pm) and we don't hear anything from anyone so we call again.(mind that by now we are just waiting around at the place we have to vacate by the evening, and we have to reschedule/cancel everything else related to our move) So the second person we talk to again says that they had some unexpected delays. He then asks us if we are flexible and are able to move some other day (?!?) and that they have some availability on Thursday (the 3rd of the month!!!!). How is this reasonable??? How are you expecting us to stay at a place we haven't paid rent for and that other people are supposed to be moving into??? And why does nobody contact us to let us know that they will be late, and expect us to call them to find out that they can't make our move today, the day we scheduled and paid for??? We took the day off work to move, we have packed every single thing even our bed and our working computers and this moving company won't even call us to let us know that they can't make the move today!! Needless to say that we still haven't heard back, and we're still waiting in the apartment we need to vacate, now it's almost 6pm!! This is unacceptable!!! Update: now their call center has closed and we can't even contact them tonight!!!! We're still waiting at the apartment we need to vacate!!! This is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous!

My husband had very recently passed away and I had to move. It was a sad and stressful time for me. I spoke to a very nice and very helpful lady named Brittany. She was very helpful and sympathetic and very knowledgeable. I was moving from Toronto to Kitchener Ontario from a large home into a one bedroom apartment. I was terrified. The movers had to pick up my things from the house and also from a storage unit close by. The gentlemen arrived on time they worked quickly and they secured my TVs and my few cabinets. Everything was loaded and secured very securely in the truck. We made our first stop in Kitchener at a storage unit then continued on to my apartment where they brought everything in. I’m am very upset because I had the names of the 2 gentlemen but I had a flood in my kitchen and lost it. My move was on Sunday July 4th from Scarborough to Kitchener so I hope management will look up their names and tell them that they represented your company to be first class. They were very pleasant and complete gentlemen..I have not one negative thing to say about my move, I was delighted. The price was more than fair. If I ever move again I will use Let’s Get Moving

If I could rate them 6 stars I would. We hired 4 movers for a 3 bedroom house with a garage. They arrived a little late but called prior to say they were delayed and would be there about 30 min late. No problem. They were entirely polite, professional and courteous. They were in a good mood throughout the entire move. They were fast fast fast and did the entire move, including 3 hours of driving time in 8 hours. Every single box and item of furniture was placed in the correct room with zero damage. We labeled the boxes with a letter on all 4 sides to denote the room and they picked up on that without even having to ask. I definitely recommend this company, 100% for a move within the GTA.

Best decision we made was to hire Let's Get Moving to help us with our move! The estimated arrival time was between 7:30-8:30am and they arrived right before 8. Our team of three consisted of Vijay, Jordan and William. All three were extremely polite and efficient. We didn't expect all of our furniture to be wrapped in blankets with extreme precision - but they made sure to treat our furniture and belongings as if it were all their own. Also, how they all managed to maneuver our large and bulky furniture around the tight corners of a condo was pure magic! If i could give these guys 10 stars I would! I came across Let's Get Moving in an article about the top moving companies in North York. Minutes after I requested a quote from them, Alex called me and explained all of the fees and how the process worked. We set a tentative date 2.5 weeks from that phone call and that was that. On actual moving day, the movers called me 2 hours ahead of schedule and asked if they could start right away. They were professional and friendly. I only wish I knew more Spanish so our conversations could have gone more smoothly. We made due. The two young men are exceptionally hard workers and lifted an incredible amount of weight carefully and efficiently. They gave 120% on moving day, and if their boss is reading this, I hope they give them 3 days paid vacation to compensate. My two recommendations are that the company ease up on customer communications and that they put more effort into evaluating how many movers are needed on jobs. Some people may like being bombarded with texts, emails and phone call reminders every other day, but I do not. Also, they sent two young men to do a multi-man job. Although I told the company I had a dining table made fully of glass, they still only sent 2 movers. The heroic young men carried an extremely heavy glass table top to the second storey of my townhouse by some miracle. I felt so guilty watching them, I started helping them bring in some of my smaller furniture. I would have given them a bottle of wine if I'd had one. I would feel safe using this company again, but I'm not sure if I will. ????‍♀️

We had a wonderful experience with "Lets get moving". Rafael and Teleki went above and beyond their call of duty. They were very patient, professional, courteous, polite and always had a smile on their face despite the long duration it took for the move. The movers were not just on time, but early, and friendly as well as fast. They wrapped my furniture with great care. I had a team of two and there was one very experienced mover and one rookie. The rookie unfortunately did bend a large poster that should have simply been wrapped together with other paintings. However, everything else was well done and my bed was dismantled and reassembled with shocking speed. I was very impressed with the whole service and because they were super transparent about their fees, the final amount was pretty much what I'd expected (about $20 less than I thought, actually). I will use Let's Get Moving again.

We had three movers, two of whom seemed to be doing the job for the first time. They were slow, sloppy, and extremely careless with our things. The supervising mover argued with them frequently (and with justification); he had to repack a lot of things because they did it so poorly, and was extremely critical of how slow they were. And he was right: The move which he’d initially projected at taking three hours ended up taking all day! I ended up having to join in and wrap and move several items myself. The movers were quite careless in regard to Covid protocols as well; while inside a few feet away from me, one mover said something to me which I couldn’t hear, then when he realized I couldn’t hear him he leaned close to me, pulled down his mask, and said it again! The movers did an equally poor job unloading. Numerous items were broken, including a door snapped off an antique dresser. We soon just gave up and told them to put everything in the garage for us to sort out later. One mover complained frequently “I don’t like this job.” Perhaps it was his first day? His performance certainly indicated it. The supervisor knew what he was doing but the two others seemed indifferent and incompetent. We called the next day to get some kind of explanation and received a form email with the company's insurance policies, which cover 60 cents per pound on broken items. Meanwhile, on the same day relatives of ours hired El Cheapo moving to bring some items to the same location. Those movers - booked at a far lower price - were fast, efficient, friendly, and professional. A pretty stark (and rather depressing) contrast. In all it was a terrible, terrible experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone

I had a great experience with Let's Get Moving. Setting up the move was surprisingly more convenient than I anticipated. Their customer service person was quite helpful and friendly and he had ready answers/options for all the questions/needs that I brought up during my call. On the day of the move, the moving "champs" Jermaine and Drew were very efficient. I just had to sit back and watch as they moved all my stuff to-and-from the truck to my new place. They were also pleasantly chatty and funny which made the whole moving experience less stressful for me. Lastly, I appreciated the simplicity of the service: they can do whatever preps I don't want to do myself (packing, disassembling/assembling furniture); I just pay for their time. I felt less worried near my moving day because I knew that if I didn't have tine to finish some preps, the movers can just do it for me on the day of the move.

My only concern was we were charged 2 hours travel time round trip from their warehouse to our home. I knew travel time would be part of the cost but only anticipated one hour round trip since we're a 25 min drive from their location. I feel like we were charged an extra hour. Would I hire them again? Yes. I would just note that the cost may be slightly higher than anticipated.

After hiring Let's Get Moving, I can proudly say something very few people can - "I had a perfect move". The pay rate is just for the time you use them (including their travel to and from your locations) so you don't need to worry about documenting every single item and task for them - which was great because I had no idea how much stuff we had till I started packing. They disassembled and reassembled our furniture so fast I was honestly shocked. Barely had to give any directions or instructions. These guys know what they're doing and they do it well. Really quick, professional. I am very very impressed. They are a bit expensive, considering it was $150 per hour for 2 movers and it took about 6 hrs to move apartments (1.5 hrs was just their travel time before/after the move) but it was worth it for how little effort we had to put in and how well everything was done. HIGHLY Recommend.

We recently moved an hour out of the city. The movers arrived as scheduled and handled the move of our contents with care to our destination. So friendly and helpful. I've moved a few times within the city and this was the most positive experience I've had.

Let’s Get Moving was great!! We had two men help us move from our condo to a house. They arrived right on time and did an amazing job. The whole day took about 13 hours to get the job done. Having three people move probably would have been better than two since it would have moved along faster. Regardless they were great and all of our furniture was handled with care and all of the valuable and breakable items were wrapped perfectly. Will definitely give them a call again when it’s time for our next move down the road!

EDIT: 1/14/2022. Owner of the company contacted me saying they “want to resolve the matter” and offered to refund my entire move. All seemed legitimate. Took my credit card number for the refund. He then emailed me the SAME release form threatening a lawsuit of $5000 if I don’t remove my review. This is how they try and remove negative reviews. Shame really when they could have resolved the issue more than 3 months ago by just refunding me for the 3hrs of “travel time” they admittedly overcharged. UPDATE 9/27/21: Still have not received a penny back for my $1000 owing and promised because I would not sign a waiver that forces me to remove my Google review if I get money owed to me. Absolute thieves. Run the other way and hire a professional and honest company! UPDATE 8/10/21 : after offering to refund me $1000, still no refund or response from higher management. AVOID THIS MOVER. They will charge you more than they should, acknowledge they did, but not give you a penny back unless you sign a release and remove your review!!! EDIT 7/20/21: Customer service called, offered me $450 refund if I sign a release AND REMOVE MY GOOGLE REVIEW…. Dissatisfied with their release, I refused to sign it, after which offered $750 refund, but again, they would not give me the money they ADMITTED THEY OWED ME without me signing the release that makes me remove my review! This is why they have mainly positive reviews, they make the dissatisfied clients remove them by reimbursing what should be owed back to the client regardless. I will be seeking legal actions from my lawyer next. I was billed for 7am-6:30pm. They got there at 8:30am (luckily I have everything documented by my Ring doorbell) and we’re done by 5:30pm. It does not take 1-1.5hrs to get from your office to my house (17 min on Google maps at the time- I checked). There were supposed to also be 3 movers but only got 2, one of which was slow as hell and it was his 1st day on the job. Very dissatisfied with the charges. Over $2300 to move a tiny townhouse (1400sqft).

I feel like this company clearly deserves the rating they have and that’s why I’m sad of giving you 4 stars instead of 5. The only thing I’d like to say, as a constructive criticism, is that one of the movers didn’t wear the mask properly most of the time and since we’re in the midst of a pandemic it’s something important that should be taken seriously. That said, the whole experience was great from the beginning, I was scheduled, told everything with transparency and we ended up paying approximately what we estimated beforehand. The movers were highly helpful, punctual and efficient! They moved everything we asked to and they also were extremely careful with every item. I’m so glad we hired you guys! It made our moving experience way better and easier! We even kind of felt bad of being so relaxed while they were moving all the stuff! Really hope that only detail is considered, just to be careful and kinder between us, now more than ever!

I posted this review about the 4 movers who actually moved us. They were fantastic and I give them 5 stars. Hard workers who looked after everything. They could not have been more professional. However the company lets Get Moving sent staff out to pack up everything for the movers to move the next day. This was a complete waste of time and money. They did basically nothing. When the movers arrived the following day they had to spend the first 5 hours wrapping and packing everything that was not done the day before. It was a complete waste of their time and ours. Instead of just being able to show up and start loading the truck they had to wrap and pack. We could have saved 5 hours and not been finished at 8pm. What should have been a 6-7 hour day instead took 12 hours. We were charged $1500 dollars for the packers who did basically nothing and cost us an extra 5-6 hours in moving time. I give the overall company 2 stars for this. Seriously not worth it. Again the actual movers I give 5 stars. Karin and Mike, Jose Alfredo Jose Munoz were all very professional and We would use them again. There was a different crew that came to pack our house up 1 day in advance. They were a total waste of time and money. I would not use them ever again.

Would give this experience 0 stars if I could and absolutely DO NOT recommend. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. They seem to treat their movers poorly and their customers even worse. Not only was Samir rude, condescending, and chauvinistic to my fiancée after knowing he would be dealing with a woman’s complaint over the phone. He called us to provide legitimately ZERO customer service and wanted to ensure us that we would be paying for 100% of the time they were going to be working despite the movers showing up late during our moving window between two condos. He was intent on not helping find any solution or make any assurances and left us dealing with the our old and new condo management with no answers. They couldn’t even bring all of our stuff because the movers weren’t given a big enough truck to fit all of our stuff. So, once the move was “finished” we spent an additional half day moving our own things despite already spending an exorbitant amount. The only thing they care about is how early that can start charging and how much they are going to charge you and surprisingly with that can’t provide you with something as simple as an invoice after the fact because apparently their accountant is only part time. Very surprising for one of the “Top Movers in Canada” and will never use them again. Maybe you’ll have luck with them if you require no standard of service, have big pockets and have an unlimited duration of time to move.

My family and I moved from a 2 bedroom condo in toronto to a house in the Niagara region. We booked a 24’ truck and three movers. Tony, Didier, and Heiner. All went well, although my building and their elevator policies almost threw a wrench in our plans. Fortunately, Tony, Heiner, and Didier were professional and able to work around the obstacles presented by our condo rules. We wrapped most of our furniture and boxed our personal belongings ourselves. But, we needed a few extra items to be wrapped when the movers arrived. Tony did an excellent job wrapping while Heiner and Didier seamlessly continued moving everything else to the truck. The whole process was a lot of work for these three and they did it with a smile the whole time! When we arrived at the new house, these three placed the items where they needed to go, didn’t cause any damage to the house or items while moving in, and worked vigorously to get things done in a timely fashion. We filled an entire 24’ truck packed to the brim, and unpacked at the new house. These three made it feel like a pretty straight forward process. Thank you Tony, Heiner, and Didier, and thank you “Let’s Get Moving!”

I had Simratpal, Utkarash and Karnabir for the move of my one bedroom basement apartment into an apartment building. The entire time the crew was responsive and hard working. They thoroughly wrapped all the delicate furniture in blankets and plastic wrap. They also asked a lot of good questions and did their best to save time to keep costs down. My roommate and I hired Lets Get Moving for our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom plus den apartment. We had packed the majority of our stuff, but there were a few loose ends when the movers arrived. NO problem for them! They thoroughly wrapped everything and were super careful with our fragile belongings. Such hard workers, we were very happy with the service they provided! Move was done within 4 hours, including driving to the new place.

I have had horrible experiences in the past using moving companies, so I had planned to call up a few friends and do my move ourselves. However with covid restrictions, we were forced to use a moving company. I found Let's Get Moving through Google reviews and although they had a high rating, I was still apprehensive. When we first called the company to set up the move, Sam got down all our details, was professional and courteous, and gave us some tips. The day of the move, two gentlemen, Amelio and Danny, came early and got to work right away. In the past we found other movers took their sweet time moving items because they knew they were getting paid by the hour. However these guys were so efficient and picked up all of our boxed items, wrapped our furniture and blanketed all fragile items within a matter of 2.5 hours. I had to make a stopover to pick up some furniture at another place and wasn't charged an extra fee for this. Once we got to the new house, they unloaded all items and placed the furniture/boxes in the appropriate rooms. Emilio and Danny were absolutely fantastic and I'd recommend the services of Let's Get Moving to anyone!

They were professional and courteous and took the time to protect the furniture etc. My only compliant is that they didn’t take care with boxes labelled fragile….so either move those items yourself or pack them extremely well. Reliable, flexible and affordable movers. The crew was very friendly and great to communicate with. Few lessons and tips learned: - We were quoted for a 4 person crew and only 3 movers came. They adjusted the estimate to reflect this with no problems but the move did take longer than anticipated. - Our move took 9 hours. It was hard to understand a more realistic cost and timing to the move just looking at the estimate which only states the hourly rate and the minimum of 3 hours. We moved a 3 bedroom home and it took 2 trips (one from a home and the other a storage unit) to complete the move. We also only had items moved to the main floor and basement and not put directly into the rooms nor did we have them setup any furniture. - Very speedy at moving boxes but larger furniture does take time. They wrapped the furniture and dismantled everything which takes longer than moving boxes. To have some larger pieces dismantled can help save time. - At least 1 home owner always present. There will be some questions during the move and to have a homeowner present all the time is helpful. Overall we were really happy with the decision to hire Les Get Moving - would recommend for in town moves.

Nazir, Edwin, and Siva from Let's Get Moving did our move from our townhouse to our house across the city. The move took a while but that's because our townhome had several sets of stairs. Do not use this company. I can not stress that enough. We used this company for a move in early July. The amount of damage is too long to list. And the company is offering a pitance as compensation. And they seem unable to give me a breakdown of how they arrived at such a low number. I added on the extra insurance the night before the move. Even though I have an email confirmation of that insurance coverage, they say that I don't have it because I did it after hours - ah, that's the point of on-line. And suddenly that insurance disappeared once they understood the magnitude of the damages. Movers damaged the old house and scratched the floor in EVERY room they were in in the new house. Easy to see why, while they 'wrap' all the furniture, they don't protect the feet, and they put the furniture down on the crushed gravel driveway, then on to the new hardwwood, and pushed furniture into place.

Called their customer service to get move quotes and the person was not patient and didnt know how to explain it. They said $129/hour max 3 hours and they charge for travel time to our location, then from that location to the moev location then back which makes zero sense. He also wouldn't tell me what the travel rate is, so for a 3 hour move it could cost hundreds and he couldn't tell me why. Makes zero sense.

If I had to move again I would re-hire Let's Get Moving Inc. in a heartbeat. Steven, Edwin & Heiner were on time, wrapped furniture properly, caused no damage whatsoever and handled big furniture pieces like a sofa bed and AC unit with ease. I was recommended a three man team & happy we went that route. When one person wrapped furniture the other two movers removed boxes in our home super quickly, getting the truck loaded and us out quickly. Efficient, super friendly and worth the money. If you are thinking "should I or shouldn't I hire movers", hire movers, less stress and your back will thank you!

If I could give the crew that moved us from Stoney creek to St Catharine’s this week a 10++++ review, I would. The only hiccup was that not all of our stuff fit on the truck. Not sure what happened there?... Perhaps a better way of estimating would have helped. Regardless, the 3 man crew were extremely courteous, personable and very helpful. They were very careful with our stuff and our home. It had to be the hottest day of the year 32 I think without the humidity and they just kept at it. So glad I used this company.

Ajax 1 day ago I am truly confused by the amazing reviews on this company. The service I received was not at all what I read in all the reviews before I decided to choose them as my moving company. The employees they sent did not appear to have much experience moving furniture, nor did they work efficiently in regards to using their time appropriately. On multiple occasions throughout the day (my max 6 hour move took 10 hours) we observed them standing around and one of the three always appeared to be doing nothing while the other two worked (this happened in a rotating fashion). My husband had to step in several times to encourage the movers to pick items up and actually put them in the moving truck. My husband even ended up fully coaching the workers through the entire move-in process (I.e. telling them to grab items and bring them in, teaching them how to move bulkier furniture, teaching them how to place items in way that would still allow space to continue working in). It was ridiculous and yet, there’s more. As they brought items inside I was to show them what rooms certain things went to; however, multiple items they just placed wherever they felt, leaving me to have to continue moving boxes and furniture to different places of the house after the fact. Let me not forget to mention how they packed the truck. Initially they were doing a good job of using the space wisely. But after half the truck was packed, then began to pack items loosely and in awkward places which left at least 15% of the packable space misused. This then lead to them telling us that there was no space for our few remaining items and they would need to make a second trip (the distance to the new house is 30 minutes, meaning an extra 1.5 hours of travel time for just a few items. On top of that, they took much longer to travel to and from, my husband went with them to pick up the second load and instead of staying with him on the highway they got off at a different exit taking even longer to get to the house. Not to mention they arrived at 9:15 am when schedule for 10am throwing off our time line. And when we addressed our concerns early on during the moving process the “manager” of the group informed us it was his “first day” and explained that he couldn’t give us much feedback/information due to this. Before leaving the old house, I did a check and noted a mirror and a tv they failed to take to the truck. Fast forward to the move being completed and I have items missing, even parts for my sons bunk bed that now leaves it unsafe for him to sleep in because it can’t be properly built. I did contact customer support after the fact and the lady was apologetic and reassuring and informed me she would speak with management and get back to me, but I’m still waiting to hear back. They wanted me to pay via etransfer, which I wasn’t informed of beforehand. When I did etransfer it the finance department was able to follow up with me instantly and called me back when it didn’t come through within less than ten minutes. They initially told me they didn’t think I could get a receipt but did end up sending me one in the end. I will be contacting them diligently to get some money back because I feel complete taken advantage of and mistreated. These full star reviews are unbelievable to me now. I will never use this company again and will never recommend them to anyone. I will be leaving my review on multiple sites to get the message out. It’s not fair to pay for a service and not receive adequate treatment.

I never leave reviews on anything, but after my move this weekend I knew I HAD to leave one. Let's Get Moving was phenomenal, great communication with me from the start, fair prices, and just a seamless and stress free move on the day of. I wish I could give 6 stars. I moved my one bedroom apartment and in total they finished the job at around three hours. Just a fantastic experience and I highly recommend this company.

They helped us move out of our condo, and they were so wonderful that we specifically requested the same crew to move us into our new home. We had our move booked in the morning and got a call 15 minutes before the movers were supposed to arrive saying that they had never shown up to work that morning and they were unable to find anyone else. We were unable to re-book the elevators in our buildings until a few days later so we had to coordinate an extended stay with our landlord and stay for three days with all of our stuff packed up. However due to the positive reviews we gave it another shot and rebooked for a few days later- the movers that did come were very careful and efficient. Overall the move itself was a good experience but the hiccup caused a lot of stress and hassle.

Do not use this company! Please look at all the negative reviews, that’s the exact kind of experience you’ll get. They simply didn’t show up for 2.5 hours after the window they gave me. I had moving elevators booked at my last condo and the new one and they knew this. Their tactic is to wait till you’re stressed out of your mind, when I called them to ask where they were they transferred me three times till I spoke to this awful, unprofessional man named Cedric, who said “so you want to cancel?”. EXCUSE ME WHAT?! So basically they give you two choices, lost your deposit, cancel and figure something else out, or pay them much more to get a third guy to get your move done on time. They’re total fraudsters! They make you pay before they’ve taken all your stuff out of the truck. I’ve never experienced such an inefficient, overpriced move. Save yourself money, stress and time and go with a company like El Cheapo, honestly my move with them a few years ago was blissful in comparison to this fraudulent company.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. We had hired Let's Get Moving back in April when we moved out of our condo into a temporary condo while our new house was getting renovated. We loved working with them the first time so figured we'd use them again. They were professional and both quick and efficient. Our move back in April took a total of 6 hours from point A to point B (loading and unloading the truck). This time it took them 6 HOURS just to move our stuff out of our condo. We had everything packed up are ready to go for them. We actually had less boxes and furniture than our last move when they moved everything into the condo. I had left the condo at 11 to run over to our house and most of the boxes and duffels were cleared out and already packed up in the truck, all that was left was our mattress, bedside tables, couch and coffee table. They didn’t show up to our house until almost 2:30pm. One of the movers was great the other one was missing half the time. My husband actually walked down to the truck and he was just sitting in it for 30 minutes doing nothing. When I called the company to tell them they said they would follow up with the movers and get back to me. I never heard back and actually had to call again when the movers demanded we pay them when the truck was still half full and told us they refuse to finish unloading the truck until we pay as its company policy. When we used them back in April, we didn’t pay a single cent until they completely finished unloading the truck and were leaving. All the company did was deducted a whole $80 after arguing back and forth which is completely unacceptable. I rarely ever write negative reviews (feel free to check my account) but felt it was necessary and its mind boggling to me how it takes 6 hours to load up a truck when it previously took 6 hours to load up and unload the truck when we last used them. The company did not apologize once or seem to have any care.

I usually like to say positive things about companies so I have to say it took a really bad experience for me to say, if you’re moving in the GTA please do NOT use Let’s Get Moving. I’ll start by saying we were moving from a 1 bedroom condo to a condo 15 min up the street. It was quoted as a 4 hour move (and has never taken more than that in the past for any move of a place that size). The total move took 9.5 hours. Condos have specific time slots you reserve elevators, and due to them taking so long, our reservations expired on both ends. They arrived at the second spot within 15 min of the elevator expiring despite them knowing the time slot we booked. This resulted in my husband, a paraplegic, needing to climb out of his wheelchair to help move things along, and me at 7 months pregnant needing to help unload things as well. At the end of the day (12:30am), a third of the contents of our original condo were left over and we had to take the next day to manually move the rest of it ourselves. Did I also mention they trashed my wedding dress? Threw it into a pile by a dumpster despite it clearly being in a bridal bag. So upsetting. It really was a crazy nightmare. Do not use Let’s Get Moving!!

My experience with Let's Get Moving was excellent overall. I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism of the two movers. They were kind, communicated with us, worked efficiently, and there was no damage to our furniture or the apartments. They also wore masks the entire time (as did we) which was very important to me. Another huge positive was the professionalism of all the customer service representatives I spoke to on the phone. I really liked that I was called the day before my move to confirm so that I didn't worry we had been forgotten! The only reason the experience was not perfect is that I was told the movers would arrive between 7:30 and 8:30 am in the morning to wrap the furniture before my moving elevator booking started at 9:00 am. The movers did not arrive until 9:05 am and because wrapping is one of the slower parts, the move ran later in the day than expected. I had to extend my elevator booking at the new apartment and it was a little stressful worrying we wouldn't be done unloading before another tenant started their move. My two movers worked extremely fast to get the move done before we lost the moving elevator and I am so grateful for that! Overall, I would absolutely use Let's Get Moving again!

I chose Let’s Get Moving because when I read the reviews they seemed pretty great so thought I’d give it a try. I moved from a one bedroom condo to a 3 bedroom house and figured the move shouldn’t take longer than 4-5 hrs and actually took 11 hrs - it was quite an exhausting day. One of the men (Jordan) was very outgoing, dedicated, and worked incredibly hard - he was very careful with all the items. The other mover worked at a much slower pace and spent most of the time texting and talking on the phone, which took away from the efficiency of the move that I think contributed to the much longer day. As the movers were packing things up to leave, I figured I would check the reassembled furniture and noticed half the bed wasn’t assembled. It’s a good thing I saw it because that could have caused an injury. I would caution the other mover to ensure furniture is assembled properly for the safety of customers. Once I brought it to the attention of both movers, Jordan ended up spending additional time to fix the bed - the other mover didn't seem concerned at all, which was disappointing. Thank you Jordan for fixing it. Update: July 8... I changed my review from 3 stars to 4 based on my experience after the move. I received a call from Cedric on June 27 to follow-up on my review. I've have a few conversations with Cedric since the move and I appreciate his customer centric approach in listening to my concerns, sympathizing, and working with me to compensate. I know there are customers who have had worse experiences with moving companies in general and at a time that is normally very stressful in general, I do appreciate the time Cedric has spent with me to resolve and advocate for the customer. I didn't expect to receive a call after the move to follow-up on my experience, which I think says a lot about how dedicated the company is to ensure the final outcome is positive.

Used let's get moving to move out of my house and put everything in a storage locker. They were very professional - thoroughly shrink wrapping everything, taping blankets around everything, and securing it within the truck. We were extremely confident nothing would be damaged at all throughout the process. They were also very effective at fitting everything into our storage locker. Very pleased with the service. Rate was $129/hr from their first call to their return to office time (using GPS time from location to office +30min), no other fees.

The movers Jordan and Paul were prompt, very professional and overall great fellows to oversee my move. They took great care ensuring that my furniture was protected and moved without any damage. I also liked that Let's Get Moving kept in contact with me prior to the move. Granted the job did take a little longer than I anticipated and maybe 3 movers may have been more appropriate because of the extra care taken in protecting my furniture. The experience moving between apartments with this company was seamless. Booking was done quickly and easily, they called the day before to confirm details, called the morning of to update us on progress to our place, and were on time. The movers, CJ Curtis and Paul were outstanding, careful, efficient and fast. The guys that did the packing were haphazard, they mislabeled nearly ever box, stacked several upside down (causing kitchen items to leak) and generally packed as one would if they wanted to throw out their housewares. I would hire these guys for a move but definitely not for packing. At nearly 1200 for 3 hours of packing, it was not money well spent.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.... READ BEFORE YOU BOOK!!!! A FURTHER UPDATE .... after i posted this, i was contacted FINALLY by the company as they saw my review and they over the telephone offered me $500.00 to take my review down, when i responded my child was crying they would have to call me back they got off the phone. I received an email an hour later asking me to sign a waiver and accept $500.00 to remove my review. I had not even agreed to this. I emailed back then expressing that further to my review i found that they HAD BROKEN MY MASSIVE TELEVISION in addition to the laundry list of all the other issues i had faced. ZERO RESPONSE. BOOK SOMEONE ELSE!!!! they do not care at all about what your actual problem is, they care only about their reputation and bandaids that are offered to fix it. HORRIBLE, in this day and age this is how customer service is handled. READ BELOW IN RESPONSE TO YOUR RESPONSE.... this IS NOT an isolated case as I have experienced issues FOUR times now.And I have called your customer service and they have not responded to me or rectified the issue whatsoever. Now that my bill is paid it is my issue. Please do not present yourself as willing to rectify a situation when you are certainly not I have used LEt's get moving four times in the last year. Their customer service when booking is EXCEPTIONAL but when it comes to the actual move and the customer service afterwards its a huge fail. They have not properly trained their staff to be movers, they are simply men who can move things. I had taken so much time to organize my items as they were being moved to different places, storage, and homes on different dates. After explaining and asking that things be kept to flow with my needs they really disregarded what I asked, and it was even more evident when I had to return to a storage unit for my last move (some items were kept in storage) and there were parts missing, pieces unorganized, and now i have to pay to have my items put together because of their mistake, and no one at customer service seemed to care now that I have paid the bill. They have not sent movers on two occasions, and i was short a truck on one occasion and one of the drivers decided to tell me off. I WOULD NOT AT ALL ADVISE ANYONE to use them as there are so many other movers on the market who OFFER MORE VALUE FOR WHAT THEY CHARGE. I will happily go with companies like AMJ CAMPBELL again because they take the time to hire people who are then trained to move items properly. IF i wanted strong people to lift things I could have found anyone. MOVING IS SO MUCH MORE THAN STRENGTH AND STAMINA . dont hire them, keep looking.

I used this company for moving and it was fantastic. Jean Marc and Jordan were the movers who were assigned my job and they were professional and efficient and incredibly considerate of time. They always had the answers to my questions and helped me with a few things that were completely out of their scope. They took the time to wrap every single piece of my furniture, they measured all the big pieces and the door frames to plan how to move them in/out with ease, JM even helped me water my plants. Highly recommend and will use them in the future.

Best Moving Experience! I hardly know where to start. From the very beginning, starting with our search for estimates, Let’s Get Moving was onboard and ready to help. Sam walked us through the booking process, made helpful suggestions, and answered all our questions clearly and patiently. Two days before the move date, we were contacted by Kat (email, text, and a phone call to cover all bases) to make sure everything was in order, and to see if we had any concerns or needed anything extra (mattress bags, protection for tv, etc). Such a proactive approach was very impressive. As for the move itself – everything that could possibly go wrong from our end, did. We were moving from a busy, inner city neighbourhood. Imagine a situation where parking is almost non-existent. We used our own car to ‘reserve’ a space for the movers, but a car is not a moving van. Not a problem for Siva. He navigated the van into a space that I can only compare to threading a needle – with ease! He and Heiner showed up on time (masked for our protection) with all the necessary materials to ensure that our property would be well protected and handled it with care. Oh, did I mention that one of the elevators in the building had broken down, and the other could therefore not be put on ‘service’? No cause for alarm. Siva and Heiner handled this with skillful efficiency, moving the contents of our fourth-floor apartment quickly and resourcefully without ever causing inconvenience to the other tenants in our building. They took on a challenging task in a thoroughly professional manner, remaining cheerful, friendly, and reassuring throughout the process. After that ordeal, the move in at the other end was a cakewalk. A pleasant surprise at the end of this adventure was the price. When our final bill was tallied, it was much lower than we had anticipated by several hundred dollars! All in all, we highly recommend Let’s Get Moving. We know that if the need to relocate arises in future, they will be the first company we call.

The two movers were nice, quick, and very capable. Moving in downtown Toronto is often a pain but they were able to get the job done faster than I had expected. I hired Let's Get Moving for my manager and she was hands down, very happy with the whole move, from start to finish. The movers (Akashdeep?) that we had assigned to us were very efficient and packed everything up with care. It was a long haul move from Toronto to Sudbury and never once complained about moving any one item (not even the heavy unit from the top floor through the very narrow staircase). Let's get moving has really good search optimization (one of the first results I got when looking for movers) but they also deliver the goods. We spent a mint to make our move as easy as possible and I have to say that it feels well worth it. Ali and his crew showed up on a Thursday to carefully pack up our many worldly possessions into boxes and then Andrew and his team showed up right on time to load up the trucks and roll out on Friday. Andrew specifically was absolutely fantastic, he was a really positive leader and set a whithering pace that the rest of the team matched all day. They were wonderful to work with and they started out at a sprint and didn't let up until the job was done. If you're looking for a great moving experience and see the value in paying for it (or are having it covered by an employer) you can't go wrong with this group. They are truly full service professionals and did a wonderful job. And also - if you're coming this far make sure you take care of the team. We grabbed lunch and made sure they had plenty of things available to drink. They hustle hard for you so be a good employer. We tipped as well on top because it was well earned. Only minor nag would be that in lead up to the move I feel like I got a whole lot of reminder emails but hey, that's fine. Five star five star

Healthy Schools Certification

We had a very challenging experience working with Let's Get Moving as we moved out of one house and into another from May - June 2021. We were really pleased with our initial consultation and they spoke of their high rating and service. Unfortunately, our experience from that point on (once they had secured the work) was really poor. As we moved out of our old house, the movers had to be reminded (and forgot) to remove their shoes/wear shoe covers so we had to scrub some of our carpets after they left. They also dropped weight plates on the ground (they charged us extra for this service which made this even more frustrating). More on that below. While our items were in storage, we filed a claim as the weights had damaged the flooring. After following up several times, we were bounced around and our initial contact suddenly 'couldn't do anything' to help us. It took months to resolve and likely wouldn't have resulted in anything had we not hounded them for weeks. When we moved into our new place, the movers were fine and we did not run into the same problems as when we moved out. But by this time, we were already so frustrated with how we were treated. In summary, they talk a good game about their rating and customer service but severely overcharge given how poorly they communicate/treat their customers. You can easily shop around and find another moving company to do your job for far less. You're really not paying for experienced movers as well as half of the movers themselves mentioned they had just started working for the company with no prior experience. As someone who generally does not post negative reviews - I felt compelled to not have someone else deal with the same nonsense.

Update: In discussing my experience with the company I stressed that I wanted to know how they planned to avoid these issues for customers. Instead of answering that question they raised to compensation offer. Every time I restated my questions I got no answer, just a higher compensation offer and a request to remove my negative review. So, they're more interested in their image than in actually doing a good job. That says a lot about the company, I won't be recommending them to anyone. We had a bad experience with Let's Get Moving, we were not informed when booking the move that we would have to prove our TV was working before the move. As we weren't informed of the need to prove it was functional we didn't have a power cable accessible to prove it. So, as we couldn't prove the TV was working it is excluded from damage claims. They also broke a carpet cleaner and damaged our dining room table and one of the chairs. If you use these movers make sure they tell you everything up front. They seem to like leaving out details that will put a customer at a disadvantage if anything is damaged.

My move took longer than expected and I had several items damaged. I eventually was contacted by the owner Cedric who took time to understand my situation and everything that went wrong, and offered fair compensation, but overall my experience was long and frustrating. II hired Let's Get Moving in late October 2021 to move a two-bedroom apartment that was already half empty. Was recommended two movers by the sales person. The move took 8.5 hours which is about twice as long as normally expected for a move with a recommended number of movers to take. Movers ended up breaking a glass plate of a display stand, snapped a branch off of a tree shaped lamp, and lost the screws to my couch they disassembled, so I ended up without a couch at the end of the move. When I filed my insurance claim with Let's Get Moving they first lost my submission because their tool cannot handle large numbers of photos; which seems like it would be common for a claim submission. When I did get my claim into the system my experience can be summarized as: - Was told my claim did not count but was offered $50 in "good faith". Even though under our basic insurance agreement I was legally entitled to $187.20. - The claims department insisted our hold harmless agreement meant my items were not covered, despite the hold harmless agreement only excluding items if I instructed the movers, which I did not, and Claims did not bother to look into. - I had to push through multiple emails and phone calls to get my claim actually considered. When the claims department did consider it, they used made-up weights of my items despite me offering to provide the true weights multiple times. - Throughout the whole process the claims department would not acknowledge my disassembled couch to be considered in my claim, which is nonsense as they lost all screws after disassembling it and leaving it as is. - Eventually I was going to accept a $125 settlement to just get past this whole ordeal, however the settlement agreement contains this clause: "As a result of the settlement the Customer agrees to hold the Moving Company Let's Get Moving harmless of any claims or damages and any negative review whether directly or indirectly related to the customer or any relatives of the customer. Let's Get Moving is authorized to take legal actions up to $5000 in cases of failure to abide by the terms and conditions of this settlement." - When I asked to remove this clause I was told not to worry about it. When I removed it myself, Let's Get Moving refused to accept the settlement agreement, so I declined the settlement agreement. Several weeks later I was contacted by the owner, Cedric, who apologized for my experience and offered $500 as compensation. Cedric seemed sincere. He acknowledged that my experience was unacceptable. The offer was in line with the unnecessary costs that I incurred. I felt that it was fair so I accepted it.

Such a horrible business EXTREMELY TERRIBLE High road Robbery They want the cash prior to the job being complete They work slowly & add services to increase final costs. It's extremely unbelievable. Left us almost with no beds in either house. We had to beg for them to stay and provide us with our bed. Like said previously. Worked EXTREMELY SLOW on day one, purposely so we would have to PAY for another night. Costing us an extreme amount of money. Held our stuff until we paid THOUSANDS of dollars. Have family with children and a puppy. We were freezing with no blankets. They REFUSED to unpack. It is said in the contracts, that we do NOT have to pay until COMPLETION OF JOB AT THE FINAL DESTINATION. This is going to have to lead to a situation involving legal action ASAP. All moves have gone so smooth for us. This, wow this was just so stupid and insane. Terrible service. Just terrible. Thanks a lot for making a stressful situation EVEN more stressful. Taking advantage of individuals and their money. I AM WARNING YOU DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS AND THIS COMPANY. hope it gets shut down.

The movers that came were very professional and did a great job, however, when the time came to pay the bill, I was blown away by the price. Don't be like me and choose the first movers on the list. Shop around. What I expected to be max $500 turned out to be over $900. This company is way too expensive. Edit: Changed to 1 star due to unethical practices. The company reached out to me to offer a refund of $50, but I had to sign a settlement agreement which stated that I could not negatively review them or they could take legal action of up to $5000. It also stated that I had to keep the details of the settlement confidential (NDA). Obviously, as I'm writing this, I declined to sign the form in order to warn others. I'm certain that the reason there are very few negative reviews of this company is because people don't read the settlement before they sign. Do yourself a favour and Look at some of the other negative reviews and you'll see the same thing mentioned.

I was a bit worried about the cost at first, but man! This is worth every penny. Nigel and another fella (I’m so sorry your name escapes me!) were our movers and they were great. Called before they left the office, and when they arrived hustled and moved things out so quickly! They wrapped all the furniture with plastic and coverings and moved things with care. Nothing was damaged or broken. I give these guys credit they moved our stuff on one of the hottest days of the year and did not complain (for others I would recommend having cold water on hand to give to your movers if needed). The only negitive I would say is the communication from the office is intense. For every call you get a text and an email and a voicemail. The week up to our move I received at least two emails a day with either a confirmation or “tips on moving”. I know some people would appreciate that but I found it a bit much. I would 100% use these guys again confidently!
