On Tues Feb 4th I moved from one location to another in keswick ont and utilized Hercules Moving company for the first time. If I could give more then 5 stars I would. First I set up all details with Anna from the office she was courteous and so very helpful and friendly. She set up the move and Thomas and his crew of three other men arrived a few minutes early on the big day. They were very punctual, friendly and extremely efficient and professional. These amazing men went above and beyond throughout the full move. Both locations had a great amount of stairs and they quickly and safely moved all of our precious possessions. And there was a great deal of heavy furniture which they moved with ease up and down many stairs, they were incredible. This moving crew was one of the best I have ever come across. They worked so hard and were so careful with all the furniture, they truly went above and beyond. I highly recommend this company to everyone I know. The quality and expertise and great price can not be beat. I will always be calling Hercules Moving company for all my future moves. Thank you again Thomas and your crew for such an amazing move experience you all deserve high praise and compliments for a job well done.

I contacted Hercules moving to do a cross country move to Kelowna. They lost the most valuable possesion in the whole move - which is a painting and gold frame. When my assistant contacted them they were too busy to work track it down as its been three weeks and we haven’t heard back. If I had to do it all over again I would have used one of those modular containers where we move the stuff ourselves and nothing can get “lost in transit”. These guys are a joke. I want my painting back Igor.

I've moved around quite a bit in the last while, and have used a couple of different moving companies. I also have experience with having furniture and other things broken. Hercules was very careful with my stuff, and wrapped all of my furniture with blankets. The movers were on time, and the move was done in the same time as estimated by George. A++++++++. Hercules Moving is the only company I would ever hire if I had to move again. The crew was amazingly fast, professional, and very careful with our stuff. They wrapped all the fueniture with pads and plastic wrap making it very difficult to scratch. Not only to mention the excellent customer service they provided all along. I had high hopes for Hercules Moving Company, based on the other reviews here. Unfortunately our experience was not nearly as good. The positives: They showed up on time, started working immediately and were polite. The negatives: Our most expensive piece of furniture was broken. Along with that, we also noticed that multiple other pieces of furniture have scuff marks/damage. The negatives continued: The experience dealing with the movers and the company via telephone after our furniture was damaged was not as pleasant as I had hoped. Igor initially offered us $50 (!) for our broken furniture, and was completely unapologetic. Overall: Not a good moving experience. The broken furniture is unpredictable and can happen with anyone. In the end, we were appropriately compensated for the damaged furniture, however the way it was dealt with initially was quite unpleasant.

This is my third time using them and overall a good experience, there were a few minor mishaps but nothing serious. i will be using them again.

They were right on time and very professional. Guys took every care: from floor to boxes to furniture. However, there was this case with the floor lamp which has a glass plate fixed on top by tiny nuts and bolts. The plate was removed and carefully bubble-wrapped, but after the move was completely and getting organized, I could not find the nuts and bolts. Maybe they missed or it got lost... Well, even with this, I'd still give them 5 *s as it was such a positive experience. $ well spent! Update: After writing my review, Walter contacted me to inform me, to my surprise, that they found the missing nuts/bolts a few days later and came to my place to deliver them in person. Pleasantly surprised!

The 3 guys who helped us move (John, Radim & Ari) worked very hard to get us moved quickly from one place to another, they were professional, courteous & had all the skills necessary to dismantle & put back together all the furniture we had to move. Compared to some of the quotes I got to move from Milton to Mississauga they came in at a very reasonable cost. Movers were professional and very efficient and above all on time. We used Hercules for a move from Toronto to an island near Kingston. They were extremely professional. They handled our furniture with great care. They loaded and unloaded very quickly. It was very hot and humid in Toronto, and they went up and down multiple flights of stairs without complaint. Crew showed up on time, took a quick assessment of what was coming and started working. They were all friendly, and worked very quickly. They were able to get my one bedroom apartment (with stair access - no elevator) fully loaded in about an hour. They went straight to my new property, and again were very efficient in unloading. I would recommend their services to anyone looking to move. For reference, my move from Toronto to Hamilton came in around $1,100 for a one bedroom.

After being scammed, robbed, and having half of my items being destroyed from separate three local moving companies, (two moving companies are well known locally and one was a scam operating illegally through U-haul's website); I was very hesitant about hiring Hercules Moving Company. But, needing movers to help me move ASAP, I hired this company. And... These movers aren't called Hercules for nothing! When it comes to professional movers, this company is the diamond in the rough! The staff: Adrianna, Jammilah, and Manager Igor (and the office staff) are so helpful, friendly, and informative. the movers: Daniel, Eugene, and Tim are the professionals! The crew was able to move a large three seat couch bed through a tight, narrow staircase. They made sure to pack and wrap everything. They helped me because of my health condition and my ongoing surgeries, I'm restricted from lifting anything. And the cost?? Unbelievably affordable! I couldn't believe it and I still can't believe it! There were no hidden cost, fees, and any additional money-grabbing tactics that other previous companies have done to me. This company is the real deal!!! My only regret is that I wish I knew about Hercules sooner, but I'm ecstatic and I will definitely be hiring Hercules again!

Our moving team, led by Vidas, included Valdas, Evgenii and Simon - all of whom were brilliant. Very friendly team, who arrived early at 9.00 am on the dot, and finished the job in 5 hours. They took extra care on fragile stuffs and electronic such as TV, etc. Nothing was damaged. I did a lot of research before booking them and am very happy with my choice. Hopefully won't be moving for a while, but when I do I will certainly look to use Hercules moving services.

Movers arrived on time. Their rapport was cheerful and respectful Work was done with care and with good energy throughout. They used stair/floor protector runners. Movers Simon and Abdour (or Abdil I can't remember) were excellent! They seemed to have a system between them alternating the distribution of box weight on each trip up the ramp to load the truck. I booked Hercules to move a full sized upright piano over 200kms from my Grandfather's house north of Minden, ON. down to Toronto. The movers were punctual and extremely professional. They took extra care to protect the flooring at both ends of the move and somehow made moving a 500+ lb piano look nearly effortless. I hope I never have to move this piano again, but if I do I will be calling up Hercules!

Booked my local move from a bungalow to another with Hercules Moving. A very nice pleasant lady asked me about the size of my move and specific items which I told her. She offered 4 movers at $175 plus plus. I did take her suggestion and sent her the requested deposit. They confirmed with me the day before which was nice and showed up in time in that day of moving. A very nice experience so far. I left them 30 minutes early when they were almost finished loading and went to the destination house to prepare. They followed me shortly and started unloading. When they were done and gave me the bill of almost $1700 I noticed my kids basketball net is there but the base is not. After asking they said oh we didn’t bring that since it was too heavy for the 4 of us. I ended up having to rent a truck again to finish my move. There were as much as a whole cargo van left in my garage. My problem is that they wouldn’t even mention it until I asked them. My wife and I did the rest in a cargo van, and that was what 4 movers didn’t think they could do. I guess I was unlucky with the group of movers that day since Hercules had good reviews when I read about them.

Called, got a call with someone called Herb quoting me for $1500 for a cross provincial move from Quebec to Ontario. I wasn't sure of and started to call around other moving companies but ended up getting desperate due to time constraints and called his cell number he gave me directly to accept the quote but no answer. Tried calling the main line and he picked up. He said that he'd have to get my information together and give me a call back but never called me ended up going with Smart Movers instead.

We had a short move from Leaside to Forest Hill, and everything went quite smoothly until the movers had left. I realized they had very severely damaged my mattress and a bed frame. I was able to DIY a fix for my bed frame in good faith, but when I put in a claim for my mattress I was simply ignored. Till date, still no response, and it was a VERY expensive mattress that costed several thousand dollars. I also paid for the additional "insurance" which apparently didn't cover anything in my case. I can't recommend this company in the slightest, as anything that goes wrong will just be ignored, and they take your money and move on.....

We called at 12 noon, they are renovating so no one is in office, so weasked if we could come by between 1-3pm no reply. Then finally they replied and said 4pm. We asked if we could do 430pm as we had our kids with us and wanted to take them to a park or something since we drive 3 hours to come here. They agreed. It's now 450pm and no one is there still. We left. We don't have the time or the patience to wait around or to play games.

Based on the reviews and a personal recommendation, I was totally prepared to go ahead with this company. I submitted a request for a quote well over a month ago for an overseas move from GTA to UK. After not hearing from them for a week, I phoned in and was told that the quote was in progress and that I should hear in a couple days. Almost two weeks went by without hearing back, so I called again and was told the quote was still in progress. At this point, I have moved onto another company, who contacted me the next day and had a quote ready in under a week. If they couldn't help with the move/didn't have capacity/etc., it would have been nice to be notified either by email or phone, rather than being strung along, waiting.

Don't usually bother to write reviews but the two guys from this company who moved in the couch I ordered from a retailer deserve a shout out for a job well done. The couch was excellently wrapped and protected (this was done by Hercules, not the retailer, and was beyond the typically once over plastic wrap) and they came prepared with enough flooring protection to easily get upstairs to the second floor without damaging the new hardwood. Getting the couch around the landing on the second floor was no easy feat and took almost a half hour of trying. Many movers would have given up (I've had this happen in the past) but these guys kept trying with different angles and we eventually got it done. Wish I remembered their names to give a personal thank you.

Igor is a great guy who worked really hard to deliver us a move within a short span of time. Hercules was able to be flexible to our changing dates at last minute, and did the work excellently. They packed and unpacked for us, their guys did a great job and did not break anything. The trucks were clean and well equipped, they brought and disposed all the packing materials properly too. There were some damages that we settled with repairs and refunds according to the contract. All in all it was a smooth operation with good work done, customer focus and responsiveness shown. They negotiated a good deal with us that was win-win too. I would definitely use them again!

We initially hire Hercules to move our piano, but after our bad experience with our previous mover we hire them for our 2nd move with our entire household content. They were efficient, helpful and most importantly stronger than over mover. They blanketed old furniture and disassembled and reassembled the furniture back in place. They were accommodating and had stair mats and cover on the floor so that we didn't have to do major clean up after the move. We really appreciated their patience in positioning our grand piano into the exact angle we needed in the room. I will recommend them. My elderly mother also hired them and they took care of her move as well. She really appreciated the hassle free experience.

They sent three guys and one massive truck. Movers were very warm, friendly and arrived 30 mins before time which made sure the actual move started right on time after all the necessary paper work and move related setup. And as soon as the move started these guys were on their toes until the move was completed taking just one small break after loading. I was thoroughly impressed with the speed and the care with which they packed each item with padding and shirk wrap. These guys made the entire move such a hassle free experience. From the first phone call I was extremely confident because they were very clear and thorough with explaining what was involved with the move. They quickly scheduled a date and arrived on time. They took great care with packaging and protecting our piano and didn't make or leave a mess. They even moved my carpets for me. We had the guys moving us today. We had two pickup locations and one drop off. They were on time and it was like someone shot a starter gun. Before I knew it our stuff was being wrapped and loaded on the truck. All of the guys were amazing and worked together like a fine tuned machine. We just had another succesful school move with Hercules Movers. These are massive moves, spanning many days. Each day went well, and we finished up ahead of schedule. Great experience with Hercules Moving. Igor was accommodating and flexible (it's not always easy to line up moving dates with condo management) when setting up my moving dates. Costs were clear up front, and there were no surprises. The movers were very impressive: fast, friendly, and took great care to wrap and count my items. On delivery, the team was just as fantastic. This experience was far superior to another moving company I've used. For reference, the move was across Canada, from Toronto to Halifax. On arrival, one of my items was missing. The mover in charge of the drop off noticed it before I did, and he took good care to ensure I would get it on the next shipment, which I did. He personally hand delivered this item (a large suitcase), and I am beyond satisfied with this move. The last company I used had lost a few of my items, and they couldn't care less to follow-up with me. In fact, some of my items were badly damaged. Not the case at all with Hercules. I give Hercules a strong recommendation, and I will gladly use them again.

We had a move from Toronto to Montreal. Hercules was a recommendation from an acquaintance. Positive: The team was polite and courteous. Negatives: They said they would arrive from 2-5pm. They came later than 8pm and had to work untill 11pm. The crew were exhausted. They said they had to work 16 hours the day before as well. I am not sure if the company is really abusing it's employees (probably contractors) with these conditions. They lost a furniture and our efforts to call back was totally unsuccessful. Multiple attempts was made, it appears they locate the caller ID and they refuse to pick up phone. They never gave back a call after messages left. Update: After couple of weeks, they did called us and delivered the missing pieces.

We chose Hercules Moving Company after finding them on the Canadian movers association (after our original movers cancelled on us). Hercules MC was efficient, friendly, well-organised and handled all our belongings with care. They came with 4 moving staff, a large truck and all the correct protective equipment (mats, mattress and floor protectors) and moved our 3-bedroom place in less than the quoted time. We would definitely use Hercules MC again, and can't thank them enough for moving us in such last-minute circumstances.

Hercules Moving Company double charged me by $8,000 for my move and twenty days later they have still not refunded my account. The company made an error by leaving another clients possessions in my fully filled 15' by 20" storage container. They threatened and attempted to intimidate myself by calling the police (who would not intervene). They did not follow through with their promises of repayment and indicated that they would only provide payment if I took the negative reviews that I had written down. I have charged the company with fraud with my credit card company, filed a petition with the court for interest for the period of the double charge, $225 they had agreed and promised to pay for my time, as well as damages for harassment. I am also filing a claim with the better business bureau, CRA, and GST for double filing of GST amounts. The company has never apologized for their error but has bullied, intimidated, threatened and harassed myself and my family. Please see Home Star for a full review of the incident.

Do not pay attention to these reviews. They were probably written by the company staff. This is mtpy experience, moving only 2 blocks away: 1) Two pieces of furniture arrived so broken they need to be thrown out. 2). My sofa got chipped 3). When I arrived at my new apartment, having seen them leave the old one, I was wondering why they still had not arrived after about 20 minutes. I went out of my apartment in order to go downstairs and see what was holding them up. Right outside my apartment I found one of the movers sitting on the hallway floor with only a few of my items with him. He was occupied with his cell phone. When I complained about the 20 minute obviously intentional delay costing me 1/3 of the hourly rate of $145, I was given these 3 varying reasons for their delay: 1). They could not find the number of my apartment. 2). They had forgotten to look up the correct number of my apartment in the paperwork before he came up (there were 2 men downstairs with the truck and he could have got the number from them). 3). The secretary at Hercules is new therefore she had not given them my apartment number. I LEARNED THE HARD WAY: It is better to spend a bit more and not have one’s furniture broken, needing to be completely replaced, or ruined by chipping.

Initial Post: Please can someone in this office pick the phone and tell us where our stuff is???? We have been waiting for more than a week! No feedback no calls no update nothing!!! We decided to use you guys because of the positive reviews but this is totally unacceptable. I have called dozen times and left voice-mails and still nothing. Just tell us where our stuff is!!!! Update: I am not sure how this company has wonderful reviews or if it is just our luck that is bad. They legit took our stuffs to another province and by passed us for reasons best known to them. Then the driver eventually comes and is all shades of rude. To add insults to injury, they added costs not included in our original contract/quote. I do not recommend this moving company at all! They were not the cheapest and we chose them based on the good reviews we saw and the fact that they promised there were no hidden fees and gave us a 7 day range within which we were going to get our stuffs. We got our stuffs two weeks later! No feedback, no calls, nothing! We were calling and leaving voicemails on a daily basis and all we kept hearing whenever they picked was "we will contact the driver and let you know where he is". They never called us back! They disassembled and assembled our bedroom sets and reading table. One of the bed's storage drawers was broken and two can't close anymore (picture of the final sign sheet attached- proof we indeed used Hercules!!!!!) the reading table also wasn't assembled properly and had to be tacked haphazardly. The best part is the company never even reached out to apologize for the delay (which cost us money) or for the damages done. Please do your research well and check well before using this company! We wished we never used them! Response to owner: We are not unreasonable people. Your moving contractor never advised us of any delay due to Covid. There is no way you will inform us of a delay due to covid and we will then keep calling to find out where our stuff is. There are numerous call logs and voicemail to this effect if you want to be honest. Plus if you were waiting for us to call you and send you pictures of damages when the final sign off sheet shows that there were damages then it shows you only care about your money.

We booked Hercules moving company for our move, they assessed that for our size move we will need 2 big trucks. On the day of the move both trucks arrived on time and that’s where the good part of our move ends. Half hour into the start time one of the trucks started to leak oil leaving a huge stain on our driveway. Despite knowing that the truck is not operating properly, the movers loaded 1 truck and then loaded half of the second truck. After an hour of just figuring out what to do with the second truck they decided to just take the first truck to the new home off load and then use the same truck to come back for the rest of the stuff. We called Igor the manager at the office an hour into the move informing him of this issue and asking about the option of sending another truck to the house and he said that there were no back up trucks available. Really? For a move our size there was NO contingency plan?!? So now what should have taken us 7-8 hours to move took us 12 hours!! Because of all the confusion of the truck the movers forgot to bring half the drop cloths to the new house and ended up dirtying all our floors and scuffing freshly painted risers on our stair cases. And here’s the best part – Igor gave us the final payment number and only account for 1.5 hours of “discounted time” for the truck breaking down. And it gets better, he told the movers to HOLD OUR PIANO AND TVs HOSTAGE in the truck until the payment was settled and the movers almost drove off with our stuff. Not only did Igor make our day hell he didn’t even show mercy for his own staff who were just waiting around for his orders. As far as the moving staff goes we were very happy with them till the end, they were courteous and didn’t lose their cool until the end despite all the confusion. It was Igor due his mismanagement made the best day of our lives (including our 7 week old baby) a living hell. SHAME ON YOU HERCULES MOVING!

This is our first time using Hercules’s movers. Igor and Lucas were available to address all of our concerns moving from 12,000 sf office to 6,000 sf. Hercules did an excellent job moving our items to our new office location. They were professional and courteous. Safes and heavy items as printers were successfully lifted and placed in their new location. The move took place at 9:00 AM in the morning and it was so exciting to see the teams all dressed up with the Hercules logos ready to work. After few hours of working Igor and Lucas provided in no time additional trucks and movers to make sure our office furniture and all of the equipment will be moved completely by the end of the day as promised. Blankets, shrink-wrapped were provided to wrap the fragile chattels which made everything so much easier. The staff was polite and so helpful with all questions raised. I strongly recommend choosing Hercules for your home or office move to make your move stress free!!!! We are so happy with this excellent company and will continue to use them in the future. They made this experience so inspiring and pro all along the way.

Hercules moving company was doing a move in front of my house on a one way street with a lane way Aug 7 2019. The movers decided to block the lane way with there truck and told me in a rude manner that the lane way was closed. If there attitude was like that towards me I cant Imagine how the movers are with transporting personal belongings. I called the police and they obviously had to move. These guys were amazing! I had to replace a 320 lb leaking hot water tank in my basement. Timing was important because the tank was part of my home heating system and it was cold outside. The move had to be coordinated with a plumber. I hired Hercules to move the new tank from the garage to the basement and take the old tank to the dump. Igor was a pleasure to deal with. He was always straightforward and consistent about his pricing. He tried on his own initiative to find me a way that I could avoid paying the city dump charge. The movers showed up on time. They obviously knew exactly what they were doing. The move was very professional. The movers were friendly and polite. They charged me exactly what Igor estimated. I used Hercules recently for my long-distance move from Toronto to Vancouver. Their quote was very reasonable and on the day of the move, the team arrived on time and ready for action. From beginning to end the services provided by movers were above expectations. We received our belongings within a few weeks and nothing got damaged. The unloading at the new house was unbelievably quick too! This was the smoothest move experience I've had. And this is my 5th and biggest move in 10 years.

UPDATE: Thank you for responding. As a customer service issue, it would have been the extra step to reach out to us personally. In response: I did my due diligence in asking Igor questions about the estimate. I was satisfied with his answers. The price was not the issue or we would not have proceeded. 1) The truck charge is common practice but because it was an internal move we did not require a full moving truck. Igor explained that all the blankets and the specialized dolly were needed. However, no equipment and only two blankets were used. 2) Travel time is understandable. 3) There is nothing in the contract nor was it ever discussed that the three hours would be a minimum charge. The estimate even stipulates that it is just that, an estimate. The first it was ever mentioned was AFTER the move and I was asked for payment. Please do not insult us that we should be looking for a cheaper company. Our regular moving team was unavailable with the short notice we were given. The issue is VALUE, NOT COST. It is the lack of service we received for what we were told we were getting. When you expect one thing and receive another, it becomes an issue. 4) Again, no minimum was ever discussed. 5) As part of the reason a truck was required was for the gear that I was told was needed and the gear was not used, I find this to be a frivolous charge. Also, what was the $200 specialty charge for the piano when no special equipment was needed and it was moved in the time frame and with two blankets? There is a minimum standard of service that should be adhered to in business. Your company did not stand by your word, bottom line and no excuses change that. In fact, because we do care about our clients, we voluntarily offered and happily decided to foot part of the bill on their behalf because we do not want them taken advantage of. So no, money was not the issue here, just so you know. I hope you do take seriously this review from one business owner to another. All the best to you. ORIGINAL: We hired Hercules Moving Company for a last minute internal move. Furniture had to be moved from a client's garage into different parts of the home, as well as a pool table which had to be moved a few feet in the same room where it was located. We received a quote. I asked why for a move that did not require a truck, were we being charged for a truck. I was told by Igor that special equipment and additional time was necessary to move the pool table as well as drop cloths etc to protect the leather sectionals. This was all stored on the moving truck. This sounded reasonable. I asked if this was just an estimate and was told yes. I should have been concerned when I received an email asking for the address even though I had filled out an extensive form which included the address. His professional estimate was as follows: - three hours at $120/hr was required - $105 for the truck - 1 hour to have the men travel to the house to do the move - an additional $200 for the pool table, as it also needed special equipment (a specific dolly) to keep it safe - Total $887.05 with taxes (estimate) The move took an hour and fifteen minutes, not three. NONE of the furniture was covered by the movers with anything at all at any point. It was all carried bare. For the pool table, two drop cloths were placed under the table and pulled. When the move was done, I was asked for the full amount. I told the gentleman that the estimate was for three hours but took less than half the time, of which ten minutes was them waiting for my client to run out and get them breakfast. He called and was told that this was a minimum charge. As I did not want to have to deal with the SIT situation if you did not pay, I paid it. Upon further examination, NO WHERE in the contract did it stipulate a minimum time and considering that no special equipment was used, they certainly made out with quite a payday for their 1.5 hours of work. The guys that came were very courteous and nice but this type of underhanded business dealing is unacceptable. I will not be using this company again.

Here is the description of our horrible moving experience with Hercules Moving: - Late arrival - Lack of care in moving materials: they broke one bookcase that costs $100 and didn’t even tell us about it. We had to discover it on our own the day after they left since we realized that one bookcase was missing and when I called the manager, Igor, he refused to refund us for the replacement cost - At the first old place, the movers stole an expensive piece of solid wood furniture that was stored there by another tenant in the moving room by the elevator. Two days after the move, we received a phone call from the building manager at the old place demanding the return of said item indicating they have video footage of the theft and saying that we were responsible. We had no knowledge of any of this and only after several phone calls to Hercules was the item returned - The hourly rate initially quoted through their online portal was $155. And it was confirmed before the moving by Igor, the Hercules manager by phone. Near the end of the move, while some of our items were still on the moving truck, ie. bed, boxes, etc., they presented for the first time the contract stating that the hourly rate is $185. At that point in time, because of the aggressiveness of the head mover we choose to pay the inflated rate without argument. We were also very tired as the move took 10 hours instead of 8 hours quoted initially and we just wanted the ordeal to end. - The company charged us for the hour the movers took for their meal break, which was not mention in the initial quote. We also did not realize this until we received a copy of the contract at the moment of payment Igor, the Hercules manager, refused to refund us based on the $155 hourly rate and did it based on a new hourly rate of $165. They were able to do this because they change the quote on their online portal. Keep in mind that the only quote provided was through the online portal and not an email - The movers refused to reassemble our furniture and lost few minor items necessary for the assembly of the furniture that they dissembled themselves - The moving company wanted also to charge us an additional half an hour stating that the movers did a lot of work for us that was not expected. What happened in reality is they took close to 45 minutes just to put the bed in the elevator claiming the the elevator at the new building wasn’t big enough!!!

We contacted Hercules to do our move. I specifically told them we had a lot of boxes and sent pictures of all rooms with the furniture and therefore we wanted the biggest truck they had. I double checked with Uju prior to the move to ensure all was on track and we were given assurances that they were. In the day of the move I was shocked to see a small truck pull up and voiced my concerns to the team lead who had the same concern and called his office to let them know another truck may be required. They proceeded to pack the truck but because it wasn’t big enough a lot of time was wasted packing and repacking. I called Uju and AGAIN told her we should have had a bigger truck as I originally requested. She assured me they would take care of that on the second part of our move as our items had to be stored for several days prior to taking possession of our house. When they arrived at our new house I couldn’t believe it when I saw the same small truck pull up. I can only assume that once again time was wasted packing and repacking this little truck. When I tried to discuss this with the team lead he didn’t seem to know anything about this. Ultimately our move ended up costing $1,000 more than the quote because of the hours spent packing and repacking the truck. Further attempts to contact Uju were in vain. She never responded to any of my emails. I will be registering a complaint with Better Business Bureau just so it goes on their record. This company will do anything to get more money out of their customers and despite me telling them several times that a larger truck was required they simply ignored my requests. I do not recommend using this company as their quote means nothing to them.

I was originally happy with Hercules because I had to move in a hurry to get out of a bad situation and they were available. The move went well, although took a very long time considering there were four people. It went downhill from there. My furniture went into storage until I could get a new residence sorted out. I paid an exorbitant amount of money every month for the storage. When I booked them to move my stuff out of storage it should have been an easy move since everything was already packed. However, it took the better part of the day to get done at a very high hourly rate. And when I went to unpack my things, I discovered the reason there was an unreasonable amount of boxes was because they had consistently packed one or two things in a huge box with the better part of a roll of packing paper. They wrapped Tupperware and other plastic items that would have been fine thrown into a box. They wrapped a fresh clove of garlic and you can imagine how that smelled after 6 months! Of course, I was paying per roll and paper and per box. It took three trips to the recycling center to dispose of the excessive amount of boxes and wrapping paper. Unfortunately, they took advantage of a vulnerable woman in a difficult situation. I feel very disappointed and ripped off.

We hired Hercules Moving Company for BIG move: 30 years worth of stuff out of a 3 story townhouse. We had a crew of 8 including John, Josh, Pierre and Zak and they were incredible. These guys could make shrink wrapping furniture an Olympic sport. We had never seen anything like it. They work so fast it was dizzying. The crew showed up on time, they were fast, efficient, polite and careful with our belongings. The company has a very clear, comprehensive and understandable contract - no hidden costs, everything is laid out in plain English (but you should still read all the terms and understand what is covered and what is not). They will go over the terms of the contract ahead of time and answer any questions, then again upon arrival they'll confirm the agreed terms and limitations. Very professional and very responsible. No funny business. I'm so glad we chose Hercules for this move. They weren't cheap, but absolutely worth every penny. You are paying foe excellence and top-notch work with this company. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

I hired Hercules Moving Company (HMC) to move me from my old condo to a new one in February 2020. The three movers (Igor, Remyga, and Vasilij) who arrived were very fast, efficient and well organized. Immediately setting down floor protection runners and very well protecting all the furniture with transport blankets and shrink wrap. They coordinated very well to move items down while the others worked on other items with disassembly, etc. There was a small snag at my new place where the drive-under-pass was too low for the HMC van, but the movers walked all the items up from the street with no problem. All reassembly was done and they worked with us very well to fit our items in the bedroom when I was worried about space constraints. Overall, I am extremely pleased with Hercules Moving Company. They offered excellent service, the most affordable prices after I had gotten 3 quotes where others were charging up to $200-250 more, and they handled moving of the items and transport very well. I would definitely hire them again and I highly recommend them for moving!

I would highly recommend Hercules Moving Company, they were extremely professional, punctual, and careful. The team worked very efficiently in terms of wrapping, and handling it with prudency and cautiousness. Although they were carrying my piano through a small and narrow hallwayed Victorian home, they were able to do their job with ease and care. They certainly made what i would have thought to be impossible seem easy. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the move, and will definitely use their services in the future.

I'd highly recommend The Hercules moving company if you're moving home. They arrived on time and immediately took control of the move. The moving team were efficient and experienced. Moving our fragile china cabinet was the trickiest part of the move, but they packed it with extra care making sure it won't get damaged. While the removal guys were amazing, I also had a very pleasant experience with the office taking our booking and organized our move. There were no changes on the estimate that they gave. Everything went as he promised. The movers were on time to pickup and they dropped off as promised. Two guys came and did a wonderful job. No much talk but very friendly and have good manners. They covered all the necessary items with blankets and moved very carefully. My daughter was very impressed about their work. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOVING company...They will charge you like crazy. I was given a total estimate of 10 hrs for my three bedroom flat(loading from my existing house and unloading to storage and then loading from storage and unloading to my new address).. for loading to storage they charged for 9 hrs not sure how much will they charge for unloading to my new address.They will double charged me for the storage cost..Initially they will give a quote for 3 people then they will persuade you to go for 4 people which will cost you more..I am feeling cheated now and when I called to complain them(Customer representative: Randy) he totally ignored my complain. Request you guys, if you value for money don't go with them. They are thieves/dacoits in plain clothes. I will I could have given them negative rating..

Today I had 5 guys from Hercules help move a custom 16x5 foot table weighing in at over 600lbs into a custom home today. The guys arrived on time (actually early). Dressed to impressed and everything went smoothly. I used them a few years back to bring in cast iron rads to two levels of a home after a renovation. They ranged from 400-800lbs and very awkward especially going up stairs. Again professional, helpful and no nonsense. Valdas from Hercules organized everything and the owner of the table couldn’t be happier. Thanks for making me look good Hercules!

After making a reservation for moving they stopped replying to my emails and answering calls and voicemails one week before moving. I even emailed them and asked them to let me know if they are overbooked so I can hire someone else but they didn't even reply to that. Very unreliable and unprofessional. After all the horror stories I've heard about hiring movers, I was a little timid going into this. But, I will say that I was pleasantly surprised by the delicate care each mover displayed with my personal belongings. Each item was blanket wrapped and then shrink wrapped. Even the heavy items were delicately picked up and placed onto the truck. Hercules Movers provided a complete service. Everything from disassembly to reassembly in my new home. High level of professionalism and sincerity in dealing with both the Ontario moving coordinator and the Vancouver mover. My belongings arrived in Vancouver within the time range quoted. My total cost was what was quoted and they also gave me the receipts for the scales so I can see that I am paying the correct weight. They wrapped up my furniture in cloth padding and plastic wrap; and my mattress in a thick plastic wrap. The entire process went smoothly from coming promptly to pack & move items into the truck to unloading & removing wrapping at my final destination. All smooth. Well done!
