With three workers they completed a huge move in one day—a job that another company was unable to get even near to completing in the same time with more workers. They worked hard, they were careful, they were respectful, and as far as I know nothing was broken. They also moved everything: plants, cleaning materials, food, open boxes, everything. My only small quibble was that they had a tendency to block off pathways and such when they were stacking boxes, but there were a ton of boxes, and it's hard to fault them when it was a significant challenge figuring out where to put everything.

I cannot say enough about how pleased I was using Geldart's services. We had them pack all of our belongings and move them and it definitely took a huge amount of the stress off of an already stressful time. And the drivers / movers were great. They went above and beyond when we arrived and the home we were moving into was not ready for us. They helped the occupants move their belongings out so we could get ours in. And all with a smile and great attitude doing it. I would highly recommend them!!

Inquired about a quote, had a move day set, so I took the day off work. So far things have great and time efficient from the point of contact and how soon they could meet for the quote. They cancelled last minute and moved the day for the quote to the passed Tuesday, so I took Tuesday afternoon off. I inquired about the time and have had no reply still to this day. Up until now they replied to every inquiring within a business day, but since then they completely stopped replying, leaving me questioning if they are going to bother with my business or if something came up again and forgot, or maybe im no longer a priority. Unfortunately this left a bad impression after taking unpaid time off for a service I haven't even paid for or received a quote for. From my knowledge nothings been cancelled but I have no idea where we stand for this passed week leaving me to wonder if I could have had this move done by now if only I went with someone else.

My experience with Geldart was nothing but amazing. They are fairly priced and the attention to detail and care that these 3 movers took with our things was a welcome change to the past moving companies I've used in the past. Nothing was damaged and they even took extra care on some items that I wouldn't even have thought about. We had a 5 bdr house with a full garage on top of all of the stuff from my business and they loaded their truck in less than 3 hours. I can't say enough about how great my experience was with Geldart. A+

I enquired about a quote and after several days nobody has responded. Within a day, a competitor in the city contacted me and addressed all my concerns. Geldart's Moving & Storage is either incredibly disorganized or incredibly discourteous. Don't waste your time and effort on this company. They clearly don't know what they're doing with their communications; how much could they possibly be trusted with your valuable possessions?

I will post the message I sent the president of geldarts who was the one that said these things to me. It was a lie pure and simple as or fur babies are all taken care on a daily basis, plus all the cages cleaned were cleaned and the cat box's changed the night before. This is the text to their president 'Marty' "I just wanted to message you and explain how insulted I was with what you said to me and how you reacted to my mother Hi to you and just just grunted at her and ignored her. First I did let you know the house has and is in the middle of Reno's and a move which will get people out from under foot so I can finished up those renovations. Second, all the blue and white bags are not garbage they either packed clothes for seasonal clothing that at the right time in season they will be switched with their current clothes that are in their dressers. The other bags of clothes which is actually the majority are for donation. Now everything upstairs is either boxed or in the process of being boxed same with the situations in the rooms it looks messed up but it is not. Lastly your comments about cat and rat barf, urin, feces being all over the floor is a complete and utter lie. I tried to explain to you that there are too many people in this house plus I have compleatly furnished upstairs and down. Then we brought 3 kids in with their stuff, plus there moms whole apartment and then her boyfriends whole apartment on top of everything so it is impressive just to get this house to fit 6 people. That was a miracle in and of itself but then ask 5 people to pack their whole room so they put it outside their room thinking the moving company would pack it up for them, something I quickly explained to them was not going to happen and they had to pack it them selves. I know you knew you were lieing to me as you refused 3 times to so me where any of this supposed cat and rat mess was. I just don't know why you felt you needed to lie as you could just as easily quoted a price way to high and I would have refused and no problem or just say for the time needed you would not have for 3 weeks or whatever. BTW I searched with 2 others the whole upstairs and downstairs and didn't find 1 NOT 1 sign anywhere of cat, rat or bunny barf, poop, urine nothing as they stay in their cages. So again I don't know why you would choose to have an insulted, angry, client over one that would have just been a little dissapointed. If you truly believe you saw something I would suggest getting your eyes checked. So have a good life. Goodbye. Kat

I just wanted to thank Ron Stables and his crew for executing a flawless and stress free move for us from Fergus, ON to Halifax, NS. Our move was booked through Mike The Mover in Guelph, ON and it was Ron who showed up from United (Geldart's) to load our furniture and deliver it to Halifax. He was very professional and meticulous, all of our furniture and effects were accounted for and in perfect condition on arrival. Thanks again!

Over the past two weeks I have had two phone calls and an in-home visit for a moving quote. I was clearly informed at least three times that because I had contacted them early enough, they would be available for our moving dates. I was surprised and disappointed when instead of providing a quote after our in-home visit I was told they were no longer available for this work. Contacting Geldarts was a waste of my time and I must now find an alternative company on relatively shorter notice.

I just wanted to say that this was the first time we hired movers and it was a complicated move in February- we rented a uhaul and half of our furniture was being loaded in the uhaul heading for Montreal and the other half to Dieppe and the 3 gentlemen were sooo efficient and they were all polite and did not waste any time and worked very diligently - so much that they charged us less than the quote provided considering being charged by the hour. Any furniture that needed to be disassembled, they reassembled quickly and were very careful to label any hardware so as not to be lost. Just some advice from our experience: Once thing that we did was that we tried to save money by doing trips with boxes in our car prior to the move and after this experience and their efficiency, we would have saved so much time and money in gas just giving Geldart the boxes and load them in their truck! We are so grateful for this experience and for these 3 men and we will be hiring Geldart in our next move!

Ive dealt with a few different moving companies over the years and this was by far the best moving experience I've ever had. They were very accommodating to making changes last minute and took delicate care of all of my items. Strongly recommend them to anyone Very friendly .

We hired Geldart's for our move from NB to NS and they were top notch from the start. Our situation put us in a position that we could not accept items at our new location right away and they had to be put into storage. Geldart's was able to assist with that and kept us informed every step of the way. Any questions we had were answered promptly by Roland! Our quote was quick, on time, and very competitive. Upon pick up day the guys were pleasant and certainly made the best of a tough job! They were always smiling and a pleasure to have in our home. Upon delivery day they arrived early and eager to get started. We were moving into a 3 story home and they earned every dollar that day. With what felt like a long line of boxes going to the attic we expected some grunts and groans. Instead we were greeted with jokes and laughter! They had an amazing attitude and made the move in process so much easier! It was a please to do business with Geldart's and their amazing crew!
