We had a 3 man team from Focus move our household from Ajax to North York. Team members were Jermaine, Aaron and Brian. We have moved many times and must say that this was probably the very best moving experince yet. These guys were simply the most effective moving men we have seen to date. Not only were they extremely polite, courteous and meticulous, but it showed that this wasn't their first rodeo. No matter how tired they could have possibly been, they never let it show because they did their job with a constant smile on their face. Having had a not so good experience with my previous move, yesterday's move was a breath of fresh air. Moving can be extremely stressful and tiring for some but this team made our stress disappear just by their attitude and their way of doing things. They totally impressed us with the different safely measures they practiced to avoid any type of injuries to themselves or damage to our personal items, not to mention their team work. It showed that they work extremely well together. Hopefully we don't need to move in the near future but if we do, we will definitely use Focus again without any hesitation, hoping to get the same team again. We totally recommend Focus moving!!!! One Word: Professionalism I relocated to Ottawa and needed a no hassle moving company that could fit to my tight schedule; to move exactly by the end of the month in a cost effective way! and they Delivered. I contacted around 30 companies, most of them were scammers that operate under different company names, but quotes were quite similar, incredible low prices I picked Focus as they actually visited my placed, made a quote and followed up without being pushy Mark, the sales person, also was helping out with two other staff members during the move; they came in (before 9:00 am, loaded my entire 3 story house in 3 hrs and they were gone!) Next day in Ottawa they arrived @ 8.30 am at my new place and they actually had to wait for us... sorry about that After 2 weeks I can tell that out of 55 boxes only 1 thing was broken, a fish bowl, and most likely because I packed it wrong (heavy stuff inside), so Thanks guys If I have to say something that could have been done better is that 4-5 boxes were not placed according to label, that's it.. In a nutshell, if you are moving look for a company that is a member of the Movers Association and also has a BBB affiliation, otherwise you are looking for trouble I totally recommend these guys, and btw I had no relationship of any kind with the company or any of their staff, just to be clear

One might be assured that now days we have the "Reviews" and we can have some certainty when purchasing an order or buying a service, we thought let's trust them however, my husband and me have learned from this moving experience that reviews can be FAKE, as it seem to be the case with Focus Moving Services. In the beginning, as always everything seems perfect and reliable, Mark respondent immediately to any of our questions or concerns until we did the payment (upfront). From than on the situation started to be fishy...Marc would always transfer us to his colleague Kasia, who NEVER responded on time, let alone respond at all. We send 10 emails (after 20 absent calls) and received 1 back if we were lucky! ...I can go on but I don't think it's worth it to spend any time or energy on this... after delays and not responses we have received ONLY A PARTIAL of our goods (from Toronto to Rotterdam) and with huge DISAPPOINTMENT, I'm writing this review today to maybe get an answer from the owner or the people responsible to where our staff is!? We are missing huge items like a big BBQ and big Mirror! This is the worst nightmare for anyone moving to a new country.

We didn't have any prior experience using a moving service, but Mark was very kind and reassuring. During the assessment visit, he broke down the exact details of what to expect from them and how everything would go. The actual moving day went really smoothly. Mark and Bryan took very good care of our possessions; there wasn't a single scratch or hint of damage anywhere, and they took the time needed to properly secure everything, shrink wrapping fragile items and padding items with sharp corners. They worked efficiently and were an absolute pleasure. We managed to get everything done by the 4 hour minimum requirement, so very fast (due partly to the fact that we were well prepared in advance). I would definitely recommend Focus Moving Services to anyone who is uncertain about whether their possessions will be taken care of. These guys work well and understand how stressful and worrying it is to move. They will take great care of your stuff like its their own. Plus, they're really fun guys, and very fast. I was not impressed with this service. Very poor communication; they would not answer my phone calls or reply to my emails. I was advised that my boxes would be stored at the warehouse for a week, free of charge on they arrived, however, Focus Moving did not provide sufficient notice that my boxes arrived (despite numerous contact attempts to their service) therefore I was left with only 3 days to collect my documentation, clear my boxes through customs and collect the boxes. I'd suggest seeking moving services elsewhere.

Mark was very professional and answered all my questions and provided the required details for the move including truck details, materials, etc. He was also responsive via email. On moving day, the team of Jermaine, Bryan and Tyrell arrived on time and got to work straight away. They were polite, respectful, efficient and experts in moving the furniture and boxes. There were no surprises when it came to the payment at the end of the move. Everything was handled as Mark had explained on the phone when I hired them. We were using this service for moving from Canada to Ukraine back in February 2020. The delivery took around 2,5 month which wasn't bad. The guys who packed and disassembled all our stuff in Canada did a great job and were very professional. Same goes to ppl who were carrying and meeting our stuff here in Ukraine, everything was great. They carried it very carefully and assembled all with no mistakes at all. The 1 star goes to management. All proccesses were going weel and we got quick responses to our messeges till you pay for relocation, after it they can answer with 1 week delay, after we got our stuff and some of them were damaged (1 of our big screens that cost more then 1000 CAD) they started to answer with delay of 2 weeks, then 1 month and they were ignoring us at all. They didn't help us get our money back from insurance that costed for us fortune. And we still waiting till today to get expenses, but looks like they just fade out. The person who was in contact with us Kasia Szpytka. Not answering around 3 month or so about reimbursement of the damaged goods. We also tried to contact by phone and email with their support lines - no answer either.

Were the destination agent on a move from the UK. At first, were very responsive and attentive, but when goods were finally released from Canada customs, were impatient to deliver them. Called me day after release to request delivery at my address in less than 24 business hours. I called them to say this wouldn't work, but they showed up anyways, greatly inconveniencing me. No apology until after I voiced my complaint to them. Tried to tell me that they never got my message refusing proposed delivery date and time. Many international moves in the past, so I'm pretty experienced at this. I'm sure that Focus will try to post some excuse about why my message wasn't heard, etc., etc., but bottom line is that they forced delivery on me after refusal. Unacceptable behaviour for a mover. Don't recommend.

We used Focus Moving Services to transport our personal belongings to Austria and back. In spite of a major setback beyound their control, Focus ensured that our shipment arrived in Canada on time. When we decided to relocate to B.C., Focus was the only firm we contacted. This move was permanent and more complicated involving furniture, personal belongings, a sailboatboat and a car. And it involved pick ups at two different locations, hundreds of kilometers apart, at two different times, several weeks apart. The crew from Focus handled the move smoothly and easily. We highly recommend Focus Moving Services for anyone’s moving needs.

This help came (after having checked several more companies) via FOCUS Moving Services Inc. The price was right, combined with plenty of useful advise and tips by it's first representative - from there on I (my case/my load) was passed from one representative to the next along the way and every one kept me up to date of the progress, collected the necessary documents (about which I had been informed ahead of time) - in short, they took me by the hand and guided me safe along the way. February 2020 I recently hired Focus Moving Services for two moves. First a move from the home I sold and into storage, then weeks later, from storage to the home I purchased. When Mark Heyd first came out to see me, he was professional, polite and took time and care in planning the move. Mark organized my moves and sent a team of three very capable movers both times. In all, Chris, Bryan, Evan and Tyrell. They were efficient and worked very hard all day long. I found myself telling them to slow down and take breaks. We have been extremely satisfied with the service we received from Focus Moving on both our international and our domestic move. Focus Moving carried out the local aspect of our international relocation from London UK to Toronto, and we were so impressed that we employed them again for a local move out of Toronto. From the initial consultation to the ongoing logistics and the move itself, the entire staff were friendly, attentive and used a 'customer first' philosophy. Moving can be hugely stressful (especially with small children) so we chose a full pack and unpack service - this saved our sanity! I would hugely recommend this option. I personally dealt with Kevin and Kasia at the office and Shane, Mark and Evan were our key movers. We spent a lot of time together over the 3 days and while they were very professional they were also hilarious. By the time they left it felt like we were saying goodbye to friends.

I hired this company in February to move from Toronto to San Diego. I was happy with the staff who wrapped my furniture and belongings. They were on time and efficient. However, the lady who was in charge of paper work was not cooperative. It would take her 5 days to respond to my emails. I had to call and email 5 times to get a hold of her. They promised March 1st but I waited till March 17th to receive everything as she delayed the process. I was not happy with the movers who unloaded my furniture. They were so careless and inexperienced. They guy who unwrapped my sofa pushed the cutter all they way in the sofa and cut the fabric. There were cracks and chips all of the my sofa and chairs. I had insured my belongings so I decided to make a claim. Again it took their staff a month to share the insurance company's information. The insurance company was not willing to replace the sofa and they offered a small amount to fix the fabric. They also mentioned the big crack that appeared during the move was due to a manufacturing issue and had nothing to do with the move. Overall, I did not have a great experience. I paid $6000 for the move and ended up with chipped and cracked furniture.

We especially loved the free boxes offered and the guaranteed (within 10%) quote that was provided - it made for a low stress move, as I know there are a lot of sketchy moving services that exist.
