What a great experience! From the time that we first contacted Firemen Movers, to the time we waived farewell to the moving crew, this was a wonderful experience. Flawless execution all the way through. We know from experience how stressful moves can be. This move was as stress free as it could be. Lorne was great when he came to estimate our two day move. Gave us great confidence that we had made the right choice. Dealing with Paisley and Melissa was a pleasure. Very responsive. Day 1 was disposal of surplus down sizing furniture. Thanks to Brendan and Andrew for taking on the challenge of the sectional sofa removal from the basement. You succeeded with an impossible task. Day 2 went amazingly well. The team of Jamie, Josh, Nahum and Rodney went into action like a well oiled machine. Very professional, quick and efficient. No damage. Everyone at Firemen Movers were so professional, but also friendly and great to deal with. The best experience with a company that I can remember for a long time. And the final cost came in significantly lower than the quote! We would have Firemen Movers do our next move without a second thought.

The moving guys were fantastic. One con was that setting up the move felt a bit more difficult then it should have with some back and forth, but the details and contract was hammered out so we knew exactly the price, number of people coming and time slot needed for the move. Having said that, the moving crew and truck showed up on time. They took a tour of the place and furniture before starting. They treated our stuff carefully and wrapped up anything they thought needed protection. They were quick, took directions and had a lead guy to address any concerns who was friendly and responsive. They also have strong guys who had no problem picking up and putting heavy stuff down nicely. Would recommend to anyone.

These guys were awesome. A couple of days ago we had a team from Firemen Movers relocate my family. They were top notch. Each guy introduced himself and shook my hand. I don't remember their names, but they were all awesome. One of the movers, a NY Giants fan, was a beast. He was hustling like their was an actual emergency. It was incredibly humid and this guy was doing a 3 box back carry while almost sprinting. Little Maurice was a firecracker. Punk Rawk Nick Cannon was super friendly and professional. The team leader Caleb(??) was very calm and organized, walked me thru the paperwork, kept me informed, etc. All of them were strong and professional. And their hustle was out of this world. Again, the conditions were horrible, insane humidity, torrential rain, and these guys worked for me and my family as if it was their own family. They took great care of my belongings. I wish i could give more stars. I 100% recommend. Prices were fair and reasonable.

Adam and his crew moved our family from a bungalow to a 5 story town house on May 29 /20 . What an amazing bunch of guys with unprecedented team work not mention fantastic work ethic . No damage to anything and also rescued our sleep that night with our box spring not fitting through the staircase they managed to host it up two balconies to our master bedroom . From the moment I contacted Firemen Movers to the moment the move was finished, I am extremely impressed by their professionalism and reliability. Kailen, Joe and Ryan H. were our movers and they were amazingly professional, kind, hardworking and careful throughout the entire move! They came prepared with blankets and wrapping, ensuring that all furniture that could be easily damaged was protected. I loved that they provided the wardrobe boxes for an easy transfer of my closet, it was definitely an appreciated touch. I must say that I was most impressed by their preparedness, care, and creativity... When we moved in, the couch had to be hoisted over the 2nd floor balcony, because our stacked townhouse had a narrow clearance/doorway/stairwell. These extremely talented fellows cam prepared with the right tools, took the door off and were able to remove it via the door with no damage to the couch. I was immensely impressed. The pricing was surprisingly extremely fair for the level of service (approximately $1,600 for a 1 bed + den) and they even gave us a housewarming gift including fire safety tips and special hot sauce made just for the firemen movers! It was truly above and beyond. I highly recommend Firemen Movers and would definitely use them again! Thanks guys!!!

This was our second time using Firemen movers, and if we ever decide to move again we will be booking with them no questions asked! Crew showed up on time, ready to go! They were in great spirits all day, laughing and joking and keeping the energy levels high. They were so polite and respectful of our possessions, everything from fragile glass to heavy boxes of books were treated like prized items. We had them move an over sized dresser that was left to us, we honestly didn't think it would make it down the stairs but they got it moved without a scratch in no time. They set up rooms as they go along, for example setting up the bed frame, side tables and dresser so that when it was time to unpack that's all we had to do. Yes you do pay a little bit more, but it's worth every single penny to have a stress free moving day experience.

I would give this business 10 stars if I could. We called them to help pack and move my mother into her new apartment. They made this process, which would have been impossible for her, as easy as could be. Melissa was very responsive and helped answer all our questions in advance of the move. The staff who arrived to pack and move were punctual, well groomed, and VERY POLITE. They helped reassure my mother and took EXTREMELY good care of her items when handling them. They wrapped the delicate items with such good care so absolutely nothing was damaged or broken, and even used a rolled up carpet at her new place so they didn't damage the floors. At the end of the day, Carter reviewed and explained the charges and even gave my mom a really lovely housewarming gift. I was beyond impressed. They may cost a bit more than their competitors but the service was OUTSTANDING. Worth every penny. Thank you a million times!

Best move evah. I hired them based on my cousin's recommendations after he used them a year ago. Mine was a move from Toronto to Stratford. Showed up on the dot. Shortly after giving them the lay of the land I turned them loose and just stayed out of their way. Had no qualms in doing so. The only things broken were a coffee mug and a pyrex cup. And I did that, not them. Final bill came in under original estimate. Well done guys. Pleasant, disciplined and efficient.

Please send big thank you's to the 3 gentlemen that helped me move on Saturday April 14th - Moses, David and Landon. It was a challenging day for weather (ice storm) but they were able to get the truck really close to the awning at their first stop (My old building). They were methodical in their packing of the truck and very careful with all of my belongings. Every piece of furniture was wrapped and they used larger boxes to put multiple items in, to reduce trips back and forth. We got lucky at the new house and the rain/ice held off for a little while. I colour coded my boxes and they were so accommodating to make sure the boxes were taken to the floors that the colour indicated. I was also impressed by how they wrapped everything or used blankets to protect my belongings. Four Van loads later over the following two weeks I was finally moved out :O. And because they had been paid by a third party they had no interest in resolving. :| Don't be fooled by name not all if any are actually Firemen. Firemen Movers helped myself, my brother and our senior parents move from Toronto to Mississauga. They packed all our furniture in blankets, moved everything from the third, second, first floors and basement to the truck. They were very professional and patient with all our questions during a stressful time for us (we had been in our home for 42 years!). They made it super easy for us! At the new house, they unloaded all our furniture and put it back together, unloaded our many, many boxes and were very nice and professional throughout. Highly recommend.

The guys at firemen movers are true professionals - I have moved a lot in my life and have found this move to be the most efficient and least stressful I have ever had. First from the initial visit and onsite quote which the pricing was extremely competitive and ended up being within the quoted amount (we got a packing and moving service) The guys who packed the entire house packed really well and organized each room. They were extremely polite and careful with our stuff. There was only 1 small desk shelf that had a mis-hap, but they were honest, advised and also fixed it and returned it back to us!!! For the recent move into our new home, we chose Firemen Movers purely on the excellent past reviews. Well, they did not disappoint. They worked hard, were very careful with the furniture and completed the move close to the estimated costs. Some of the furniture was very heavy and difficult to maneuver, but these guys handled it all very nicely. None of the furniture was damaged and we only has a small nick on a wall from the entire move. I should add that I am talking about 2 moves, mine and my girlfriend's, into our new home!

I requested a quote from them and received a quote at 3:59 on Friday. Unfortunately I did not pick up the message until after 5pm ( office now closed and office closed Sat & Sun). I sent an email stating I would call on Monday to confirm. I called Monday at aprox. 9:05am only to be told that the date was booked over the weekend. One has to wonder how something gets booked when the offices are closed. Now I am stuck with no mover 4 days before my move. This is not good customer service at all.

This review has been a long time coming and now that I am home with time on my hands, here it is. Back in April of 2019, my parents were moving from a 3 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom condo in Toronto. Personally, I have moved 2x , helped others move, as well as relocated and set up 2 distribution warehouses in my business life as I am a shipper. My parents move was the EASIEST by far. 4 young fit men showed up as scheduled, in their very distinguishable red 5 ton truck. I knew for SURE that this would only take one trip. Prior to them arriving, we packed & boxed my parents items and loaded the 5 rooms on the main floor for them so the movers did not have to traverse the stairs to the 2nd floor. They appreciated that because in 45 minutes the house was empty and the truck was packed. WOW!! We left the movers in Southwest Etobicoke, to meet them at Bathurst & Steeles (my parents new location) .I felt bad because we left them to maneuver that huge truck on a tiny street with construction all around them. We went straight to my parents new location, to our surprise, the movers were just pulling IN , and WE left first and went directly there. Unloading the truck was a breeze for them.They were equipped with dollies and carts and luckily, my parents were on the main floor of the building. They handled the big ticket items like the sofa, bed and dressers with ease. Nothing damaged, quick move and the guys were courteous ,friendly and professional. The move took about 2 1/2 hours. I believe there was a 3hr minimum. They were WELL WORTH it. I recommended them to ALL of my friends & family. As a thank you/ parting gift, while my parents were squaring up the bill, my Mum was handed a little gift bag with a bottle of hot sauce in it. when asked how was it, my Mum replied " It was hot". The pricing was straight forward and pretty much on par with other companies. I told my parents to go with Firemen Movers as they had rave reviews and they lived up to all of them with our move.

The summer is the worst time to move to a new apartment and house. With the help of Kalian, Matt and Nomeer, they got me through the move. They were professional and was a one Team Machine. Wrapping up furiture, carrying 103 mixed sized boxes, filling up the truck as fast as they could. Then unload it to two seperate address. My daughter was please with how they safely moved her 3 1/2 year old's school bus. Both my daughter were empressed and pleased of a job well done. Fireman Movers completed my move last week and they did an excellent job. Very well coordinated, fast, efficient and able to make adjustments on the fly. We weren't sure if there was room to take my daughters playground set because of the size so originally I didn't say to pack it, but when they mentioned there would be some space on the 2nd truck I asked them if it was possible and was happy to hear them say "no problem!". Besides that, a bunch of high quality solid wood furniture was moved without a scratch. They also coordinated effectively with another company to disassemble/reassemble a weight machine, which also went smoothly. They will be getting the recommendation from us for my parent's upcoming move without a doubt.

Ours was a complicated move, lots of logistics given that our belongings were going to two different places, segregated storage for the two delivery sites (one rural one city), a staggered schedule for each site, etc. We are very happy with Firemen Movers - from the initial assessment visit by the owner Lorne Babiuk to great staff such as Carter, Owen, Brendan, Andrew, Kevin, Dom etc. , all responsible and responsive, careful, very professional. We used these movers for my grandmother, and I would NOT recommend if you want your things to make it one piece! We had MULTIPLE boxes that were ENTIRELY broken…including antiques. I myself have moved 6 times in 2 1/2 years. My mom always packs my stuff, just as she did my grandmothers, and my dad usually packs and drives the truck. My stuff always makes it one piece..I have never had this issue, so it was not to do with the way we packed it, because if it was I would have nothing left..the movers were rough and careless and were more worried about joking around and having fun on the job. Very slow as well…considering there were 4 of them! It took HOURS!! Very poor service.

This was my second time trying to get a hold of the team to help me with a move. The only email I had in my inbox was to let me know that my request for a quote was received and the staff blamed me for not receiving their reply. I checked my inbox and spam folder and did not see any emails from them. Their time to book is limited but the reviews about the actual movers seems great. Be patient with their staff and if you have flexible dates you might be able to get movers!

We made the decision to hire the Firemen Movers after a recommendation and we are extremely happy with our decision. We lived on a second story walkup with no elevator to a townhouse in the same city. The service provided all along was outstanding, from the initial quote, to booking, packing tips and finally move day we were impressed the whole time. They showed up early, with all the supplies needed and got to work right away, they worked quickly and carefully, happy to report not a single item was damaged at all. Every piece of IKEA furniture was wrapped and blanketed, and was treated like it was high quality pieces. Upon arrival to the new place they were meticulous to understand how we had labeled the rooms, everything went in the right place. They set up the bed for us, and helped arrange furniture into the right places. They worked tirelessly, barely stopping for breaks but with great attitudes the whole time. Would recommend them to anyone for a move big or small.

We could not have been happier with Firemen; they provided outstanding service in every way. They delivered boxes ahead of time, exactly as promised, so we could do as much packing as possible ourselves. We packed over 100 boxes, so in the end they only had a few hours of packing to do (all the breakables), but they spent the rest of the time (their minimum work day is 4 hours) wrapping the furniture and staging the boxes to facilitate the actual move. The crew was polite, cheerful, and professional even at the end of the 10-hour moving day. Nothing was broken or damaged. The furniture that was dismantled (a bed, a pricey leather recliner) was expertly put back together. In addition, the final cost was much less than we feared. It's much better when the estimate is higher than the final cost, rather than the other way around. There were no hidden charges, and our crew never slacked off; they even ate lunch quickly at the old apartment rather than take a real lunch break (my husband was in the house with them the whole time). We highly recommend Firemen to anyone who is planning a move in Toronto!

From the minute the men arrived in their gleaming red truck we felt at ease. They were courteous, very respectful of our belongings and worked so hard we had to beg them to stop for lunch! No task was too much and they even had to hoist a mattress up the side of the building to a difficult bedroom location! This is an excellent company to have us move. Arrived on time, wrapped all of the furniture to protect it. Nothing was damaged in the move. The furniture was stored at their facility for the weekend and the arrived for our out of town move on time again. Called us ahead of time to tell us when they were arriving.
