This company and all it's employees were great to work with. We had things moved from Vancouver to PEI and everyone we dealt with was efficient, timely, reliable, friendly and communicative. I googled the company and they had the best reviews and rightfully so! The quote was good, there were no surprises, and everything arrived in great shape. I highly recommend them to anyone! Thanks Centennial Moving. Awesome job!

I cannot speak about their moving services but if their agents are any representation of what the move would be like, then I would suggest avoiding this company. Seeing the amazing reviews, they were first on my list to contact for my move. Agent 1: I booked a moving date over the phone and asked the agent if they required any payment right away, and his specific words were "payment upon delivery". I found this a bit odd and found the agent to be quite lazy as he did not ask for my address nor my phone number. He emailed me an agreement. Upon reviewing the agreement I saw that a deposit was required. So I called back. Agent 2 (over email): I emailed them noting that none of my details were filled in and the agent blamed me for not filling this out. Agent 3: I had a question about the payment process and the agent did not know the answer so he said he would call back after speaking to his supervisor. I did not receive a call back. Since it was a Friday, I was going to contact them on Monday to follow-up. Agent 4(over e-mail): Before I got a chance to pick up the phone and call them, I got an email saying my reserved dates were going as I did not pay the security deposit. I am waiting to hear back from them and seeing how they'll blame me about this. But I've communicated multiple different agents at this point and all of them seemed pretty lazy or they didn't know what they were doing - I would avoid using this company just based on my communication with them. You'd think that the least they could do was follow-up about my deposit but nope - they just cancelled. EDIT: Instead of accepting that a couple of agents failed 1) I did respond to the email on April 5th thus acknowledging receipt of said email 2) Centennial failed to acknowledge that multiple agents failed to fulfill their duties adequately. 3) I even sent an email on April 9 in regards to my disappoint. 4) All in all, the simplest thing that could've been done was to acknowledge that my questions were not answered adequately instead of shifting blame on to me.

This is one of the best moving companies I have used. I have moved a number of times, internationally and provincially. In the run up to my move I found them attentive to my needs, always polite and answered my questions promptly. Communication throughout the move was excellent. When the movers arrived they were courteous and respectful. I felt confident that my possessions were being handled well. I had to put my items into storage but they were able to accommodate my needs. My items arrived promptly. I would definitely use this company again.

Moving with an infant can be exceedingly challenging and we had a gap between the exit date for our old home and possession of our new home so that added to our problems. Our saving grace was Alex and Phillip and the team from Centennial. They were flexible, accommodating and understanding. Working with them was one of the best decisions I’ve made recently and I highly recommend them! Their team was professional, did a great job helping us with some last minute packing and made the whole process of moving as easy for us as they could.

Do not use this company. We chose them because of their excellent reviews on their website, but after further investigating, I question whether these are real reviews. They gave us very misleading quotes (quoted $1500 to move from Ontario to Vancouver, ended up being over $4000), we received zero communication throughout the whole process, had our stuff arrive 3 weeks late so we slept on an air mattress in an empty apartment for that time. They also offered no compensation or any sort of customer service on their end. By the end of the ordeal, my bar was so low that I was happy when it even showed up and only a few things were broken. Do yourself a favour and rent a u-haul!

Helped us move to Vancouver from Toronto. Absolutely no complaints. They were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and very reasonable pricing.

I moved from Ontario to Alberta I did alot of research before choosing Centennial Moving. I reviewed the reviews reading thru good and bad, and decided I would take the risk with them. I'm glad I did my experience was EXCELLENT. From Start to finish I feel that they were honest and took care with my things. Wrapping them, labeling them, moving efficiently. I'm almost unpacked and nothing is missing. Even if it was I can honestly say, I think they did their best. There will always be human error, no matter how you try. I would recommend CENTENNIAL MOVING 100%. I do hope they continue to keep organized, take care with customers items, and be transparent. 5/5 for me.

Moved my mother from Brantford Ontario to Saint John NB. All went perfectly smooth and coincide with the house closing dates. Arrangements were all made in advance and they arrived within given timelines. The guys in Saint John assembled a few items that were taken apart. They guys were very quick. We will definitely recommend you for future. Laurie

WOW where do I start. Well I am 69 years old and I moved from Paradise NL to Langley BC. I drove all the way by myself and brought along enough things to keep me going for approximately 3 weeks until my furniture arrives. Few dishes, few pots, few clothes (summer) and one TV. I left NL August 10th got into my apartment early so took possession August 15th which was good. Arrived in BC August 17th right into my new place. And then it began........The nightmare of trying to get my furniture. So it didn't arrive in time so I had been emailing my contact constantly (kept all emails as I have moved before and know what to do and what not to do) asking where my stuff was. It was picked up on August 30th (my daughter was there for the pickup) and everything went well. Driver told her should be there within 3 weeks time. Each time I talked to my contact it was another week, then another week and this is still going on. They told me that they didn't have any drivers to move my stuff (so I presumed it was sitting in a warehouse somewhere and this was one question I asked him BEFORE agreeing to use them) and they were working on it. I may be old but I'm not stupid by any means. Today is October 2nd and I still don't have my furniture and they are now saying IF things go as planned it will be another two weeks. At my age sleeping on the floor is not an option, but that's what I have been doing. I had to go buy a dining room table so I had someplace to eat and had to buy a comfortable chair for the living room. Now it's getting cold all my winter clothing is in the truck or warehouse wherever it is and now I have to go out and buy some clothes. I have moved a lot in my lifetime and this has been the worst yet. I would run as fast as you can and NOT use this company. At this point I don't know what to do all I want is my stuff and I am not even sure they have it anymore. I can't seem to get direct questions answered except next week, next week, next week. I am sick of hearing that....how about NOW!!!! Sleeping on the floor in Langley......................waiting

I am very thankful to Centennial Moving. It was my first time to hire them to move from Vancouver to London Ontario. It took slightly over a month to get mine in London. If you want to use your items earlier, it would be better to take them with you. Other than that, their service was really good, and their price was reasonable. Before the move, I emailed to ask questions over 20 times and then got quick answers each time. The guys that picked up in Vancouver and delivered home in London did their job professionally. I want to recommend this mover if you want to move long distances. I really thank you Centennial guys.

Scott Bell

4.9 out of five. Excellent choice for movers. The only reason that this is not a full five out five is due to a couple of damaged chairs that were part of an old, hard to replace set, and some miscommunication with one of the dispatchers; however, the staff overall were excellent and proactive with requests and updates. Very prompt!

Trevor Robinson

I have previously used your competition but I chose you because you had some really positive online reviews. If I ever need to move again (God forbid) I will definitely use you guys. I was really impressed with the three gentlemen who moved my stuff. They were pleasant to deal with and fast and efficient. They were much more careful than previous movers. I hope that they might be available when the other stuff that is in storage is moved later in September? I was also impressed with the admin side of things. Minimal fuss and nothing too much trouble. Thanks!

Daniel Morris

I looked at several options for our move from Fredericton, including moving some of our more fragile possessions ourselves with a rental. It turned out that for just a very little more cost, we could save the effort and hassle and have Centennial do it all and a lot faster than we would have done. They use their own people and trucks. The pricing was more than fair, the workers on both ends were exceptional! They were considerate of our things, polite and friendly. And they worked as hard as could be imagined, in humid conditions. So, overall, I would say if you are planning a long distance move, these are your guys for sure...

Ariel C Samdahl

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They steal, and refuse to respond to their clients whom they have stolen/lost valuable possessions from. I have not used them myself, but you know what you did to Rini #findrinifreysbox. You would be better of chosing a company that actually care about your belongings.

Michaell Grin

Wow! Finally, a company that not only does what they say they’re going to do, they go above and beyond! We have moved several times from as far as Cross Border to Detroit. Out of all of the moving companies I have dealt with, These were by far the very best. Their workers are friendly and professional. We moved from Montreal to Maple ON and these guys finished loading and unloading in super quick time. ALSO, THE FINAL PRICE WAS AS THEY QUOTED!!! No items were damaged and they treated everything with care. In my past moves, other companies always sent clueless dim-witted youngsters, but these guys were switched on and they all worked really hard. I will highly recommend this moving company to anyone that ever asks. Take it from someone that has used 7 different moving companies, they are the best!

Recently used Centennial Moving for a long distance move from Toronto to Vancouver. They are very efficient, reliable and accommodative. Highly responsive and kept me posted of pick-up and delivery updates all along. They have no hidden charges. I would highly recommend Centennial and I will definitely use them for my future moves.

Elton Lo

Moved from Vancouver BC to Montreal QC for work. I only had 3 weeks to pack and move my life across the country. The move was simple and easy. They give clear instructions on how everything should be documented and packed to make the move as seamless as possible. My belongings all arrived full accounted for and everything was in perfect condition. Great long distance movers and I would definitely use them again.

Carolyn Nichol

Kevin was extremely helpful. Highly recommend. Thank you for all your support.

I recently moved from Vancouver to Niagara, and it was my first time using movers to move cross-country. I was super nervous about the whole thing! Centennial Moving answered all of my questions very promptly (and there were many), showed up on time both for pickup and delivery, and the move itself took less time than I had originally planned for, which was fantastic. Pricing was also fair! Would definitely recommend Centennial Moving.

Sabrine Williams

The two movers were very friendly, efficient and careful at the pick-up and at the delivery. They worked quickly but treated all of our stuff with care. There was zero damage to property or our stuff, which I’ve never experienced before on a long distance move, even though I’ve moved a lot because we’re former military.

Erica Floreani

I recently used Centennial Moving for my move from Toronto to Calgary and was very pleased and impressed with them. I only had small apartment’s worth of furniture/boxes and they were able to provide me with affordable, efficient and reliable service. They had great customer service and were very organized at each step of the process. I would definitely recommend!

Michelle Borek

I recently moved from Toronto to Vancouver. The movers showed up on time and had my entire townhouse loaded up in less than an hour. Everything arrived in time and none of my fragile items were broken. The cost was great. The service was outstanding. I can’t say enough!

Thomas Torres

I moved from a studio to a 2 bedroom between Toronto and Calgary. Price was exactly as they said it would be, no hidden costs or misleading information. They provided all moving materials and were very polite in on both days. The moving crew carefully wrapped all of the items in blankets, so that everything would arrive flawless condition. They were on time for both pick up and delivery. Probably the most easiest move I've done. Which is interesting because it's also one of the most long distance moves I've had. Good work.

We chose Centennial Moving because of the great reviews they received but unfortunately our families experience was horrific. From Customer Service accusing my wife of not knowing how to count to the movers being 8 business days late we were far from impressed. We received an email with a highlighted section stating it's the customer's responsibility to ensure all items are delivered before signing the driver's documents. This is the exact sentence from the email that was highlighted: "It is the customers' responsibility, before confirming the delivery with a signature, to make sure all items are delivered according to the inventory list." When they arrived they attempted to have me sign 3 times before the delivery was even completed. One time they were pressuring me we only had part of our bed and my daughter had a bean bag chair full of stuffies that hadn't been brought in and they were pressuring me to sign. I showed all 3 movers the above section that was sent to us in writing and one told me it's wrong and we have 3 days while another told me we had 7 days. If you like 3 guys coming into your home and attempting to strong arm you Centennial is the way to go. We told the movers where to place boxes and they placed them elsewhere. Mistakes happen but when you are standing in front of someone telling them not to put boxes in front of your kitchen sink and they do it without a word and walk off you can understand my one star review. We had been told up to 21 business days and when my wife called she was told she doesn't know how to count. We only counted M-F and we did not count Good Friday nor the following Monday and it took them 29 business days. We had items broken and I fully understand it happens in a move but when we are talking about end tables being broken in half that's a bit different than a mug or glass cup. Really a terrible experience. I'm sure the movers had other jobs to complete that day and they felt pressured to go fast but watching them drop our shelves outside and having them attempt to strong arm me into signing documents after spending thousands on the move led me to this one star review. It's a big company and I'm sure others have had better experiences and I'm glad for that but for this young family Centennial treated us terribly. I will say everything was delivered so even though it came late and broken it was delivered so Centennial has that going for them. What bothers me most is how hard it is to set boundaries and though I can pat myself on my back for sticking up for my family I just think about how other families may struggle to set a boundary and signed documents because they are being pressured too. Really a terrible experience. As God is my witness never again.

Sasha Sawyer

Thanks for a job well done. Our family couldn't be happier with the results. The movers are clean polite and really a hoot to be around. they showed up on time and loaded up very efficiently. Delivery was made within my desired date. No scratches, No damages of any kind. They didn't even touch a wall. These guys are energetic, safe, trustworthy and professional. great job.

Hello Centennial Moving Team, I want to express my Deepest Heartfelt Thank You to all of you guys who did my moving... My family didnt lift a single thing and while delivery i didnt lift a single thing as well.. everything went to seamlessly with no problem.. and you guys adjusted according to my schedule which was another advantage bcos i didnt miss my work on delivery day... Overall very satisfied with your communication, the way you guys adjusted to my schedule, the way pickup and delivery was done, the personal touch from every person in your team... Everything!!!!! I am happy that i made a right choice by choosing Centennial Moving.. Thank you Xavier, Yuri, Trey, Alex, Warren and the Delivery and Pickup guys who did the needful... Have a nice day... Stay away from this company!!!! I did my research, they had excellent reviews on their website and on other sites on the internet so I thought, ok, let's go with them. BAD IDEA!! I have moved A LOT in the last year and my provincial movers weren't able to move me from Ontario to Nova Scotia. So, I chose Centennial Moving. It all started out well, my sales person was very helpful and explained that they charge by weight. I was also informed that Centennial Moving only comes to the East Coast once a month which meant that they would have to pick up my belongings on September 15 to have it out in Halifax between September 25-30. This would have worked out perfectly because we would've been able to unpack over the 2 weeks we were in quarantine. I spoke to my other movers, as I had things in storage at their company, and they said that each storage locker weighs approximately 2000 lbs. I had one and a half storage units so their and my guesstimate was 3000 for the storage lockers and another 1000 lbs for the boxes I had at my apartment as I had little to no furniture (no bedframe, no couch, no chairs, no dining set) I was thinking worst case scenario it would all weigh 4500 lbs for 130 items. Here is where it starts heading downhill....On September 15, it was confirmed that the movers would be at my storage place between noon and 4pm. I have never had a moving window...the movers arrived at 4:30. I waited in my car for 4 1/2 hours because my storage was an hour away from where I lived. I had to call dispatch twice to find out where they were. Such bad communication!!! With the second phone call I was told that they stopped to get food. I understand that you have to eat BUT YOU WERE ALREADY LATE and absolutely ZERO communication with the customer that was waiting!!!!!!!! The following day I asked for the weight ticket because I had heard stories about people's belongings "weighing more" so the company can make more money than what they quoted their customers. The weight ticket ended up being a form that the company sent. Where is the real ticket? You can't tell me that COVID is the problem as the weigh station can provide you with a printed copy through the window, or you could take a picture of it and send that. According to my weight ticket, all my things weighed 5650 lbs. Are you kidding me? I had almost NO FURNITURE!!! To make matters worse, a few days later I get an email five minutes before the sales person left for the day to say that my things were too heavy to go on the September truck to Nova Scotia and would be arriving a month later. What could I do? They had my belongings. A month goes by, I had to email the company on October 26 to ask the ETA. The original dates I was given were between October 23-27 with 24-48 hours notice. I was told that it will be arriving between October 31 and November 2. UGH!! The dispatch department sent me an email on October 29 to confirm that my delivery would be on October 31 anytime between 9am and 12pm. FINALLY! I sent them back the email confirmation with excitement because the day was finally here!! And this is what I got back: "Thank you for the confirmation, Sara. We would like to ask you, is there is any possibility you could pay the final balance with cash or at least a part of it? The reason for such a request is that our driver's card was temporarily blocked for some reason and he will need cash for regular trip expenses. Regardless of the payment method, an official receipt will be provided accordingly. We would be grateful if that will possible on your end, kindly let us know." What kind of company does that?????!!!! What kind of company asks that from their customers? The movers in Nova Scotia were AMAZING and arrived at 9am, were very helpful and probably the best part of this whole experience. Most of my belongings arrived unscathed which is a blessing in my eyes. FYI-written on the side and back of their truck that they are BBB accreditated but according to the BBB site they have an F rating. This is false advertising Centennial Moving

I used Centennial Moving to move from Ontario to British Columbia this fall. Their employees were friendly and professional throughout the whole moving process. For pickup and delivery, they gave plenty of notice of their arrival, and when giving us quotes they outlined the costs clearly. I recommend everyone to use Centennial, as their prices are affordable and their service is great!

Cameron Fournier

Centennial Moving relocation experience was great, no surprises, the price that was explained/quoted was what I paid. The movers themselves at both locations were very nice and courteous and the company went out of their way to keep us up to date during the move. We got completely done in a reasonable amount of time for what we had asked for. Cooperative and quick response and services on short notice. They are very professional and very punctual. Use them and you will have a good long distance move. I know I will again!!

Andrey Kozz

I have had a perfect experience with Centennial Moving company. The Customer Service provide the perfect way to communicate with and driver guys and movers was very pleasant. The stuff moved without any damage though more than 4.5k miles move. The very comfortable point that you do not care how many stuff you have to move, all will be calculated after packaging and loaded. Per my research before moving, the price in the lower range by comparing with the other companies. Thank you, Centennial Moving team!

AccNet Accounting

It was first time for me to move to another city in Canada, they performed very professional from packing and wrapping all items to unwrapping and installing everything at the destination, (same as moving my car) everyone who was working in this process was very professional, I'm very happy with their work and recommend them to anyone who need to be taken care of during the stressful moving, their pricing is fair as well.

Just a note of sincere thanks and appreciation for an absolutely perfect move from Yorkton SK to Markham! The truck arrived with our belongings on Saturday. Just as with the loading process in Yorkton, the guys who unloaded our belongings in Markham were careful, courteous, friendly and professional. Everything arrived in excellent condition. So again, thanks to you and your outstanding team at Centennial for a superb move. We appreciate all you and your team have done for us in the two moves we've worked with you on. THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Dr. Ali Sabah Abdulhussein

Very good service. Professional and fast .pick up and delivery on time . Thanks again

NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE COMPLETELY DISHONEST! Terrible company, first they tried to charge CAD 500 by adding extra 500 pounds in the invoice without any reason, I complained and involved BBB and they mentioned they could not scale the truck again in front of me to prove the extra 500. I had all the weight written in each box. Then, they measured my volumes and realized I was right in the amount to paid but because they are a complete dishonest company, they sent the volumes to the wrong address to change a "redelivery fee" of CAD 100 and they also mentioned they big truck could park in front of the building downtown Montreal and they need to rent a small truck and charge extra CAD 100. Basically, they used a lot of tricks to made me paid more 50% and played dirty games. I am 99,99% all the 5 star reviews are fake. NEVER NEVER!! DISHONEST COMPANY!!!!!! PLAY DIRTY GAMES WITH EXTRA FEES and EXTRA POUNDS WITHOUT ANY REASON

Alex Woodley

The service of Centennial Moving was wonderful. They are fast to respond to questions and concerns and have great customer service.

Luc Bergeron

Excellent service from Eric in sales and Alex in operation. The movers were on time and very professional.

Mica Stiles

Centennial moving was one of the first companies I reached out to when it came to my move from Calgary AB to Vancouver BC. Michael was very helpful and followed up a lot with me when I was unsure of what day I would be moving. I booked my move, they told me it would happen within two weeks of the pick-up date and all was dandy. They picked up October 19th and told me I would get my delivery in 1-2 weeks in Vancouver. All of my possessions sat in Calgary for over a week without any information for me. I called and asked and they couldn't give me any information on dates, only that their driver had gotten sick with COVID so that's why the shipment was being delayed. After I called them almost everyday for a week and got no information they finally told me that my items would arrive at the November 6th, which was almost 3 weeks after the initial pick-up date. At this point I asked for a discount because of the long wait and they were unable to give me any sort of discount or subsidized price. The next day after hearing the November 6th information I received an email saying that the delivery would be happening on November 3rd (hallelujah). The morning of, the delivery people were right on time, and brought all of my stuff into the apartment, it was all nicely wrapped and only a few things were damaged (lots of my bin lids but nothing vitally important). The only concerning thing was that none of the movers were wearing masks (it wasn't mandatory in BC at this point) so it unnerved me, but I wore my mask to keep myself protected (I also understand that moving things is hard work and a mask can make it difficult to breath). Overall, my experience with this moving company had a lot of ups and downs. If you are wanting accurate, on-time information, I would not recommend Centennial Moving. But I would recommend for the price, the customer service was great initially but deteriorated the longer my shipment was taking.

Sergey Lukiyan

Tank you Centennial for moving my stuff across the country. First, when I got the quote, I was a bit concern about their competitive price and high rating. I've read some reviews saying that their rating is fake and they pay people for writing good reviews. I've moved from Toronto to Halifax in August 2020 and it went smoothly from the wary beginning. I was communicating with John over the phone and via email before I made my decision. He is very responsive and knowledgable, answered all my questions and walked me through the whole process step-by-step. Alex picked up our stuff from Toronto, he and his coworkers were friendly and professional. They arrived on time as per schedule, wrapped all the furniture in blankets, labeled all our belongings and moved out 2 bedroom apartment in less than one hour. My furniture arrived one week later than it was expected but it did not bothered me a lot. What was important to me to get my stuff safe. Delivery was done by Vasiliy. I could tell that he's an experienced and professional driver. It was quite challenging to get to our driveway because of a limited access but he solved that problem in no time and got his truck parked by the entrance with ease. All the furniture was moved in the apartment by professional movers. From all of my stuff, just one picture frame was broken, other then that, everything was in the same condition as when I had packed it. Thank you Centennial for your service. I will definitely recommend your company and will use your service if needed.

Mira Marhaba

The shipping itself was pretty good and smooth. No major issues except that their estimated dates and time frames were way off. They told us it would be shipped for sure within 21 business days, but they didn't specify that this 21-day count starts only when their truck decides to leave, and not when they first pick up your belongings. This basically means that the 21 business day maximum doesn't really apply, since they could pick up your stuff and then only leave many days later (which is what happened with us). Other than that, they were easy to deal with and the customer service was very responsive when we needed to talk to them.

Patrice Ferdinand

I would like to thank Centennial for helping move my family in a very complicated period for us. I was cancelled in the last minute by another company and luckily Centennial had one of their trucks in my area and managed to arrange a very fast pick up.

Jess Townsend

This company does not follow through on ANY of their website's information, or employee's promises. If you speak with them they will tell you 8 to 14 business days and it will take 29 business days... And get to there damaged. They transported our items unnecessarily to a warehouse, without explaining this would happen and Without our knowledge. Do not use this moving service. If I could rate it less than 1 star I would.. ***** the fact that Centennial believes they offered me the service they promised is disgusting. It took WELL over the stated business days they claim the delivery took, (NOT WITHIN) the $200 discount barely covered the damages discovered once I finally received my items.. Over a month and a half I had to battle to receive said items therefore the grave amount of misinformation and stress and disrespect gained through this awful service was not worth any of the money and TIME spent. Very poor service skills and by saying they gave 'booking information' that should have meant all of this was up to the 'expectations' of the client is a further blow and straight up LIE. Their communications were based on getting the job and money not about helping the customer. Worst company to allow to move your belongings.

Christopher Da Costa

For a cross province move, I having nothing to complain about, everything went smoothly for me. Moving coordinators are pretty responsive by email/calls throughout the whole process. If you live in a condo, booking the elevator can be a challenge as you will only know when the movers are arriving a couple days in advance.

Mike Lenz

I've used Centennial twice now for cross-Canada moves. They are the most affordable movers I could find and they always did an efficient job. They do all the work, you don't have to lift a finger when they're picking up or dropping off your things. In my last move, a few storage bins came back damaged but if that's the worst that happened then I can't be too upset.

Kira Koka

My move was better than I could have expected. The driver and loading crews were incredibly professional and put great detail and care into packing my home. As soon as they arrived at my house they instantly asked me about and concerns and explained the process of packing and inventory. My carpet was protected by floor runners and boxes were placed and taped to the title for protection and cleanliness. At delivery of my items at my new house the reversal process occurred. The driver and packers also assisted me in assembling some of my household goods (sectional couch, bed, TV stand) along with any items they disassembled to load on the truck. I am still amazed by the high level of respect and care my belongings and I felt during this experience. Very highly recommended!!

Pickle Rick

On-time and no damage after a cross-country move. Particularly impressed with the communication/customer service. Was an overall great experience dealing with this company.

Camiel Pell

Happy with my service. Customer service was impeccable. The delivery pick up and drop off people were courteous and friendly. One item was damaged, my toolbox had a massive dent in it rendering it unusable, but my antiques survived, so I call that a win! Thanks Centennial!

Danielle Walsh

I am shocked by how poorly I was served this time. Long waiting times, sketchy last-minute cash flow problems, and all my stuff in terrible shape. I used this company with no problems two years ago which is why I picked them for my move from Calgary to Halifax. I got the same great customer service right up until they had 95% of my worldly possessions on their truck. I had asked when our stuff would arrive and had been told that a truck leaves Toronto headed east each month on the 15th. I had also seen the "long" estimate of 21 business days. It took 6 WEEKS to get our stuff! That's 32 business days! Finally I was notified we would be getting our stuff on the 29th. Just a few days before, suddenly they emailed me to ask if I could pay a portion in cash. As a 5'2" 125lbs woman, I'm not always comfortable carrying large amounts of cash. I asked why and they said to cover travel expenses. I asked if they needed a few hundred or up to a thousand and they asked for nearly $2400 in cash! After I protested this, they walked it back saying "no one was forcing me" (Who hasn't heard that line before? Not forcing, only holding on to all my stuff for the last 6 weeks...Hello power dynamic...) and they would accept an e-transfer. They chose exactly this moment to kindly remind me that they could also charge me even more if it's a long enough walk from the parking lot to my apartment. A fact that was really clearly spelled out in our contract but which was now coming off as a thinly veiled threat. The leader of the movers who brought my stuff told me they actually needed the cash to pay their guys and only had enough on them to pay them up until the end of tomorrow (Super sketchy). He also lost my paperwork so I had nothing to sign and no final bill of lading. Which I then needed-- to file a claim because they broke my $3500 elliptical and our 55" TV. See how smashed up my boxes and bins were? Those totes were the same ones I used to move before and they somehow arrived intact last time. This time, they're all trashed. It's like they threw all my boxes down the stairs. Larger items arrived rewrapped with their identifying tags missing. Boxes had half the tape pulled up, and had big gaps from being squashed. A lot of things had to be washed because the squashed boxes were also strangely filled with dust and grime. I have included only a few pictures as examples of what things looked like. The only reason more of my things weren't smashed to pieces is because most things were well wrapped inside their boxes and bins in bubble wrap and butcher paper. I emailed them to let them know how upset I was and all I got back was a copy paste message directing me to go through the claims process. I am not optimistic about the results of that. We'll recover our things, we have private insurance as well, but I'm still completely disgusted by the total disregard they have shown here. What a gong show. Update: They've let me know I'm not entitled to any compensation because I had basic protection. So because I didn't pay the extra "protection fee" they are free and clear to smash up 500lbs of stuff before they owe me a nickle. That's right folks-- I'll admit it here and now. Centennial Movers fully met their contractual obligations. This is what I signed up for and it's on me. This is what you sign up for.

Simply the best! Not only were they beyond kind and wonderful to deal with, but they are so speedy and efficient. They went above and beyond to make me the happiest customer possible! A seamless dreamy long distance move indeed! High!!! I live in Barrie which isn't always easy to move and they made it truly incredible. Cannot thank them enough!

Centennial Moving offered the best movers of any moving company of the several I have used over the years. Thank goodness we chose them to move our parents to their next residence in Calgary. I believe it was the first move I have ever been part of with nothing damaged in the process...even a Grandfather clock. They were quiet, careful, and efficient. We highly recommend Centennial Moving - we will always call there movers .

Watching your team operate was nothing short of extraordinary. We were hesitant to go with movers but your team executed beautifully. I have been telling everyone I encounter that they need to go with Centennial. Your team was friendly, efficient, took incredible care of our belongings and were literally RUNNING up the stairs to get back to lifting more items. It was incredible. We are huge fans & will continue to sing your praises. I have so many friends who have had horrible experiences with other companies- our move felt like a total breeze. We felt relaxed enough to start unpacking while they were finishing the job. Please let me know how else I can promote your business. Happy to be a raving fan on your behalf!

Nugwa Haruna

Excellent service. I had had a previous terrible experience with a different mover whose quote was nothing like how much I ended up being charged. That was not the case with Centennial. They were recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed!

Andres Lujan

They did an amazing job. They did follow up all the time , very professional people and responsible.

Centennial moving are probably one of the best I got so far in terms of Long Distance Moving. We deal with them twice and there is nothing to complain about them. My first moving was from Winnipeg to Guelph, ON and they did amazing. The second one was from Winnipeg to Windsor, ON and they did even better job. Their prices were fairly reasonable and they had really good staff. Max, Long Distance Senior Coordinator is very amazing person, he made our moving simply amazing. They are very good, reliable and fast too. In future if I ever need I wouldn't think twice for hiring these people again. Thanks a lot and CENTENNIAL MOVING IS VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This was a truly ridiculous experience. I've moved several times from country to country, and I've never had a more inept moving service. I contracted Centennial Moving to move a small amount of furniture and personal items from Vancouver BC to Montreal QC. They, at the time of deposit, told me that the move should take 8-14 days typically. I wasn't looking forward to spend the time in my new empty condo, but I understand that they can't simply teleport my items there. So, I paid the deposit, and on began my nightmare experience. The team sent to pick up my items in Vancouver were professional, friendly, and quick. They both remarked at how little that I had for them to move, and said it would take about 90 minutes to load the truck properly, and they were basically correct. They wrapped all my unboxed items in moving blankets, and secured them with packing tape. Each item was labeled and numbered. It was impressive. I took a little vacation (to avoid an unnecessary empty week in my condo), and then arrived in Montreal seven days after the pick up, so I would be available when they arrived. I hadn't heard from the company since they've picked up my items, but once again, I understand that they're not exactly going to give me daily updates. So, my wait begins. Around day 15, I send them an email. I get back a, "It'll get there when it gets there, and we'll let you know". Curt, and unapologetic, but it's only a day late. Around day 20, I send another email. It's ignored. Around day 24, I call. I'm told that they're going to talk to dispatch and call me right back. They don't. Around day 28, I call again. I ask why I wasn't called back about my delivery window, and they again suggest that they're going to talk to dispatch and call me back. I insist that they need to call me back this time. They tell me I will get my stuff next month, at the end of the first week, or during the second week. Six weeks after pickup. I'm understandably angry, and I ask how I'll be compensated. He says that he will talk to the manager and will call me back. He does not call me back. Around day 30, I call again, and ask again about compensation. I get the same reply, and I insist that he actually call me back. He calls back about 10 minutes later, and says they're willing to discount my move by $50 dollars, and not a penny more. I have some back and forth about how that's insulting and inadequate. He isn't apologetic, and basically says thems the breaks. Around day 40, I still haven't heard from them, I call again. I'm starting to think my items are never going to arrive. I go through the "talk to the dispatch" routine, and basically tell them I'll wait on the line, and they call back and tell me that they're going to deliver my items later than expected (Surprise surprise), but it will be before the weekend. Day 43, I get my bill. They've vastly inflated the weight of my items. They suggest that I have just under 2000lbs, but it's actually impossible. I have 3 large boxes (mostly light), 3 medium boxes, TV, printer, soundbar, sofa, coffee table, side table, nightstand, queen bed/frame, two suitcases, a light ikea chair, a small desk, computer chair, two wire/cloth drawers, and a bookshelf. A generous 1300lbs or so, but I would believe up to around 1600lbs. I'd be skeptical at 1800lbs, and completely in disbelief at 2000lbs. There is no method of really arguing anything, and they don't send any sort of proof/documentation to show your items (ONLY) being weighed. However, your items are being held hostage. They also tell me that their large truck will not be able to make the delivery, so I will have to pay $150 for a 'shuttle team' to move my items into my condo. After some arguing, and bringing up the 45 days it took it deliver, they finally, begrudgingly agree to waive the shuttle fee. Day 45, the contracted crew to drop my stuff off was great. They did it quickly, without any fuss. Be very wary if you choose to do business with this company.

It was awesome dealing with Centennial Moving. They were ontime very professional and great quality. I would definetly recommend them for your moving. They took extra care for fragile and brought floor sheets with them and placed everything where we have requested them.

Lori Pelletier

Toronto to Surrey move would have cost $1510 for 1 bedroom apartment, but the office manager Warren gave me $100 off and an apology for Xavier the sales rep misleading me and blaming the additional weeks of delay on me. I also received an additional $72 off for paying cash and agreeing to no receipt. When my property finally arrived after 5 weeks from date of pickup, a large mirror was broken, a box is missing, items that were sealed for security purposes had been opened and they put a desk drawer into a dresser drawer and I had to break down the desk drawer while it was stuck inside the dresser drawer to get it out.. I do not recommend Centennial unless you do not care about your belongings or the time at which they arrive.

Hikaru Miyanaga

Friendly, professional, helpful, responsive and flexible. I had to move to another city during COVID 19 time, to coordinate everything was a nightmare. Gladly Centennial Moving was very responsive and flexible, was a great help through this COVID 19. Every box and furniture arrived on time, and in flawless shape. Would recommend.

Much like all the other people here, My advice is DO NOT use this company. Our story started off great, promised me a moving date 2 days before the closing date of my home.13 days before their arrival date they e-mailed me to tell me they couldn't make the date that they promised. I had to rent a storage unit and move all my items into it. (that's right I hired movers so that I could move all my items by myself anyway) They could not give me a straight answer on the actual date of their arrival. Because of the sale of my house i had to rent a hotel room for 9 days until they finally showed up to collect my items. We were moving and sold 90% of the belongings to our home, so we could travel light. or so we thought all our items fit into a 10x10 storage unit, not much at all. we were quoted 3500 lbs and a just under $4000 for movement of 109 items the bill that arrived after pick up was not. they weighed us in at 6400 lbs and double the quoted amount of the move $7800. I tried to contact the company about this, and they said it was because they tagged 160 items not 160 that there was such a increase in the final amount and that usually 160 items weighed 6000 lbs . To them it made sense that the first 109 items weighed 3000 lbs and the extra 50 pieces of weighed 3000 lbs. I explained that they had opened some items we had pack together and tagged them individually for instance jack one tag, jack handle, one tag even though they were attached broom one tag, dustpan 1 tag. even though they were attached they didn't care about any of this explanation and told me i would have to pay 400 dollars out of my pocket to have the truck reweighed. I asked for proof of weight and the "proof of a scale ticket" they sent me was a word document that they wrote up in their office. I already paid $200 extra for a storage unit needed to use this company, I already paid $1000 for a hotel for my family to stay in waiting for them to come. I was not ready to pay another $400 for a re weigh of the truck. they refused to give me the information from the weight station entering the province that trucks must go to, they refused to give me the information from the weigh station after they offloaded in the province. Then they tell me like all the other people it would be 21 days for arrival, only to get a e-mail saying it would be late by approximately a week. After calling the office and complaining about the delayed delivery date, they called me back and magically the truck would be here 2 days early as it was now ahead of schedule. offload team was amazing. offloaded the truck in 45 minutes that's how little we had to move. Every single box is crushed on arrival and every tote is damaged. I have never seen a rubber mate tote destroyed like these ones are, there is no point in trying to claim it because of the 300 dollar deductible. i have pictures of tubs smashed in. my kids bikes arrived bent (another cost that i have to pay out for using this company) as i'm going through the items i trying to make sure there is nothing missing (which i'm fully expecting to find things missing) i find 3 items that don't belong to me. i contact the office only to be asked "are you sure they aren't yours?" Yes, junior, i'm positive I don't own this suitcase with someone else's clothes in it. Warning! you only have until the truck leaves to report if a box is missing, and only 7 days to unpack and find out if they broke anything. on the bottom of their paperwork it says you can pay by bank draft. yet another lie, only by e-transfer, cash or visa(which if you want to use they charge you extra fees) your daily e-transfer amount is 2000 dollars. so you have to pay cash for the rest. (most banks won't give you 5000 dollars cash unless you order it 2 days in advance) I asked for 400 dollars compensation for all these issues, they offered me 100 dollars saying they couldn't afford to give me anymore. which they told me would be in my bank today guess what, still waiting. Must be delayed like their truck. Buyer beware everyone. move with them at your own risk.

Professional service and quick replies. Answered all of our questions and were available when needed. We moved items from Toronto to Vancouver. It took a little longer than they originally quoted, which they let me know in advance but all in all very satisfied. No items lost/damaged.

Omar Abed

I have moved my 2 bedroom house furniture from London Ontario to Vancouver. Overall they are legit and delivered within the promised delivery date range. The final quote was slightly higher (circa 8%) than what I expected and there was some minor damages in 3 out of 84 items - but nothing worth mentioning especially that my furniture is mostly Ikea. Overall, I would definitely use centennial again and refer them to friends and family.

This company earned every star above and beyond. From start to finish, every employee was amazing that we dealt with. John-our first contact to get pricing was extremely knowledgeable, the office staff were so kind, helpful and patient. The guys did a great job packing our antique table and it arrived at our new home without a single scratch! We are very happy that we chose this company for our move!

sherry woods

The guys were great they answered all my questions kept in contact all the way and delivery was even sooner than expected .. very happy to get my things in one piece :) definitely would use them again in the future ! Thanks guys !!

Nancy Will

From beginning to end, you guys took such good care of our stuff and of us. We want to give a big shout-out to my loaders/unloaders on both ends and my relocation specialist Eric. They were all phenomenal, but this last leg with Alex and Ruslan was smooth as butter and couldn’t have better if you tried! We are thrilled to be here and so appreciative of a seamless transition all the way around. Thanks so much, Centennial for your amazing crews, and I hope that all will continue to use you in the future. We certainly will!

Centennial Moving is a class act and you won't find better value for your dollar. They moved us from Toronto to Edmonton. Even with some mixups at the end, they were responsive and understanding. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Andrew Schellenberg

We have used Centennial Moving twice now in the last couple years. Our first move went well with only minor damage to a dresser. However, on our second cross Canada move, the company lost our very expensive King mattress. Upon making a claim, they repeatedly ignored us or tried to deny our loss. Their actions have been very sneaky as they clearly do not want to accept the cost of replacing the mattress or trying to find where the mattress is located now. I would neither recommend this company or ever use them again.

I communicated with Xavier over the phone and email. He was very nice and quite responsive and also answered to all my questions very politely. I booked their company to move from PA and the price was the most competitive after obtaining couple of quotes. the team arrived on time to pick up and finished the job in about 1hr time. And the way things were packed and shifted were quite very well and delivered the items on time as committed. Very happy with the service and also thank you for giving me some discount. I am yet to check my items and I hope there wont be any damage :)

Relocated all our furniture from Montreal to Vancouver. We spent over a week reviewing all quotes and comparing different companies, and finally settled on Centennial because of their competitive price, but mainly because of the positive reviews that others have left and the companies willingness to proactively respond to them. It's honestly hard to find fault in their service. The pick up team and drop off team were both fantastic. Really easy to deal with, very professional, and for the amount of furniture we had, very quick. Both arrived within the timeframe that was sent out 4-5 days in advance so it was easy to reserve space for the truck. Having read reviews for a lot of moving companies, we were worried about damaged furniture so we packed it with surplus bubble/shrink wrap and storage blankets, and the team who collected the items also brought extra blankets for when they placed the items into the truck. Upon delivery, nothing was damaged or scratched. Moving cities can be stressful, and we had some anxiety about our stuff, but glad we went with Centennial and would recommend others to do so.

Patric Rogers

We chose Centennial to be our movers for our very first move from Calgary to Toronto and I'm so very thankful I picked them! Xavier, my contact at Centennial, was very attentive and took time to explain everything in detail regarding my move and what to expect. Their prices were below that of their competitors, but their quality of service could not be beat!! he left no stone unturned with regard to exceptional customer service and was always available for any questions. She called at regular intervals to make sure things were running smoothly and I didn't have any questions. There were no added costs and no surprises--everything was exactly as promised. My movers were Andrew and Ron and I can't say enough about the fantastic job they did! They were very timely and professional and, although they worked quickly, they were careful to pack everything for extra protection and treated my belongings as carefully as I would have---which I really appreciated! Not only did I have them transport all of my household belongings, but they also hauled my car too for me! My move was completely worry-free thanks to this awesome team and I plan to use them again for my next move. If you want a great moving company, you need not look any further---you found it. They are really good at what they do!!!

I am so thankful to be able to write a positive review about our experience with Centennial. We moved in September from Calgary to PEI, they picked up our belongings on Sept.15 and we received them on Oct. 24th. Nothing was missing or broken, including our 49" flat screen, framed vintage vinyls and many other breakable, sentimental and delicate items. I chose this company based on their good reviews on Google and the quote they gave us and I told myself I would leave an honest review of our experience weather it was good or bad and im so happy to only have positive things to say. If you're looking for a long distance moving company, look no further. I highly recommend Centennial to anyone, including my friends and family. They were professional, answered a million emails to me before I chose to book with them and every one I sent them after. Their price was much better then many other quotes I received and although our scaled weight was much higher then we thought it would be (because we had more stuff then we initially thought) our final price was obviously higher then the quote we got but it was still MUCH less then it would have been with another company, at that weight. Its extremely difficult to give all of your worldly belongings to strangers and watch them drive off and not know for sure you will see them all again in one piece and I had many sleepless nights worrying about it but it was all worth it in the end and we are so grateful and so very thankful!

I have never moved across the country before. Centennial moved mine, and my sons belongings from Toronto to Nanaimo, BC. Between the pick up, and the delivery, the employees worked quickly, efficiently, were very friendly and professional. Everything arrived undamaged, and they even wrapped up my sons bike so it wouldn't be damaged. I absolutely recommend Centennial!! I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, I will use this company. Fair prices, excellent service.

Josh Sandaers

I have just relocated my father’s furnishings from Toronto to Moncton. Andrew, Vlad, and Ilya did a great job of taking good care of my father's possessions. They were all very professional and very attentive to detail. They showed concern for my father, and put his mind at ease. We just finally finished unpacking everything. All items brought to us in the same condition as they left – great job by the guys. Thank You for the service you provide.

Kelsie D

This company did an amazing job moving us from Calgary to Winnipeg. All of our things arrived safe and secure in a timely manner. They also worked with us by doing an early pick up and a late drop off. Super friendly staff as well. Would definitely recommend 100%!

Aman Ali

Good service, everything was moved without a scratch from Toronto to Vancouver. Pricing was the lowest I found over a month of getting quotes. Definitely recommend using centennial, they are professional and care for your valuables. As long as you are flexible on delivery time (took approx. 4 weeks from Toronto to Vancouver), you will find working with them a rewarding and stress free experience.

We were making a move from St. John's to Aurora. We were not optimistic at all about a long distance move. Every other online review was a tragic story or people way overpaid amounts or hidden extras. Perhaps for this reason, we did a loads of research. I received a variety of quotes from a lot of sales people at other moving companies, was told about all these extras!!, insurance to ensure your stuff shows up undamaged (I thought that should be standard!?), extraordinary time frames for delivery So we get our quote, which was by far the best out of all the companies that we contacted. I was skeptical still - assuming there would be a hidden fee later. The movers showed up in St. John's. Were crazy quick - moved out the boxes, wrapped up big furniture (nicely protected!!). I was convinced it would not arrive for a weeks or so - even though they said 4-7 days was the max. Our stuff arrived within 5 days. We were kept updated by the mover driving the truck (we asked because we needed to arrange the elevator) he called us to keep us posted on his exact arrival time. Then they showed up. We did need to pay for the elevator fee, but we knew that would probably be initially. We were stoked that we didn't need to pay a shuttle fee (the truck was able to drive right into our street to our surprise). I am recommending these guys to everyone. Do your homework, read the fine print but ultimately decide on Centennial because they alleviate the stress that moving can cause!

We just finished what has turned out to be the best move we have EVER had (8th move by professionals)! Phillip and his crews were courteous and very good at the load, unload and unpack stages. Each step of the process was well communicated and executed, as described. They went way beyond our expectations, and took his time to ensure we had all of our questions answered and concerns alleviated before moving to the next step. This was our first time using the unpack service, and Phillip seemed to go above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the pace of work and the quality of the work completed. We were very pleased with the care of our belongings and our home, at every stage of the process, most especially the unpack process. When we move again, we will certainly request you for the full-service treatment. Many thanks for a job very well done!

Chris T

I had never done a big move to a different city before. I googled some moving companies and saw that this one had the best reviews I could find. They truly lived up to it - they were thorough, communicative, reliable, very friendly, and their price estimate was also the most accurate one that I encountered. If I ever move again I guarantee I will use Centennial, and I’m recommending them to all my friends who are doing cross-country moves. Amazing work, thank you Centennial.

During the booking process: Answered all our questions and concerns (and we had numerous, as this was our first time using movers). All important contract details were solidified with the email communications. They followed up with timely reminders and were flexible accommodating our changes requested during booking/estimation process. Very professional communication! Made it much more bearable. Moving days: Arrived on time, prepared and facilitated a careful move of all our furniture and boxes from a Toronto apartment (with strict parameters of timing!) to a house in Local Calgary. Hard-working, dedicated, helpful and responsible movers in both cities. Even assisted with assembling/disassembling the furniture over and above the planned work. Thank you to you all! Best of luck in the future, you are a great asset to have found!

Made my cross country move from Montreal to Vancouver much easier by offering a professional transport & storage service. Would use this company if you want to make sure your things get to where they need to be.

I was quite weary when choosing a business to facilitate my cross country move, as I've heard all the horror stories about what can go wrong. From the very beginning Centennial was professional, responsive, and made me feel like my move was important to them. Transparent and willing to answer all of my questions, I found their rates to be fair and competitive. What shifted this experience from 4 star to 5 star was their great moving teams. Upon pick up they showed up 5 minutes early, were very respectful of my belongings and worked incredibly efficiently. Taking care to account for, and appropriately secure all of my items. Very friendly as well. Drop off was scheduled within the 14 day estimated window (despite transport disruptions across Canada). They gave 72 hours notice of the delivery window. Again, they arrived 5 minutes early and quickly adapted to an overly complicated delivery pathway because of construction in our building. All the while remaining very friendly, efficient, and respectful of our property. If I were to move long distance again I would 100% use Centennial's services, and highly recommend you do as well. Thank you for making this an easy and stress-free experience.

I used this moving service from Edmonton to Montreal in summer 2020. My stuff weighed about 4000lb, they claimed it weighed more than 6500 lb. We requested and arranged for rescaling, turned out we are right and they were wrong. They didn't even apologize, their agent was rude and miscalculated the fees. I'm glad my husband didn't trust them and preferred we do the rescaling and calculation ourselves. My advice: don't trust them, have your stuff weighed yourself and don't be shy to verify and rescale of needed. They seem to have no internal quality control process. In addition, many of my bags were soaked in dirty water and the clothes enclosed in these bags (most of them were brand new with tags) were rotten and I had to throw in the garbage. COMMENTING ON THEIR REPLY: More details that I didn't include in the original review, but documented in the email thread with them: they claimed that they weighed our stuff in an Alberta government-affiliated scale which is at least 20 minutes away from my place. When I asked for a proof of scaling, they claimed this place doesn't provide paper tickets because of the covid (which didn't make any sense!!). We called the place and confirmed they are wrong as the scaling place does provide tickets regardless covid. In addition, they printed some useless paper with the wrong weight to convince us their claimed extra weight is correct, documenting the time of scaling as 13.15, while the movers moved away from my place at 13.00 (documented by a phone call made with the driver before he drove away from my place). Again, that didn't make sense because the scale is at least 20 minutes away. The sequence of events was just extremely not logical and they never apologized. On the day of rescaling, their agent who was on the phone (had a polish name and different from John who was responding to the emails), was indeed extremely rude, and miscalculated the fees for the second time, adding a few hundreds to the correct fees. All in all, I'm glad we didn't trust their word and weren't discouraged by the fact that they wanted us to pay hundreds of dollars if rescaling wasn't within 10% of the correct weight (which they have no right to force the clients to do). Again, this company has absolutely no internal quality control process. If you have to use them, be extra cautious and don't trust them.

I used Centennial Moving to move from Vancouver to Ottawa in September. It was an overall terrible experience. We were told we'd receive our items in three weeks. It took over 1.5 months to get our things with constant delays and no updates. I realize they are delays given COVID-19 ... however when I asked for an update and expressed concern I was met with rudeness and dismissal by the staff. It was extremely challenging to move to a new city under these circumstances. The movers themselves were quick and efficient... however it was the mismanagement and poor customer service that left be frustrated. Additionally, they delivered an additional large box that wasn't ours, and misplaced one of our boxes. Now we are barely getting compensated a fraction of a the value of our missing things. I wouldn't recommend this company if you're trying to plan an efficient, long distance move.

Jaclyn Boyd

Long story short - I had an amazing experience with Centennial and would 100% recommend them to anyone. Whoever I spoke with on the phone was super helpful, informative and nice. The movers showed up on the day and time they said they would and were also really nice and helpful. Moving from Toronto to Vancouver over Christmas and New Years holidays I totally expected it to take much longer than the estimated time but no, everything was delivered in the expected time frame AND it was MUCH cheaper than I expected (which was awesome since I moved for work but had to cover my own moving expenses). Don't let the old negative reviews get you down, I got over them and ended up having a great moving experience. It can be so overwhelming to find and choose a moving company that is reliable and affordable and it's good to know there's one out there that exists. I was apprehensive at first because there were some bad reviews online, but they were all from over a year ago so were probably from another time.

Luana Morendi

I’d like to give this reasonably cheap moving company a great review, because of the way they handled my stuff. All movers that came to do the job for me were top notch. They were very attentive and listened to even my most absurd demands. The team was amazingly skilled as they were fast and yet did their job with extreme care. To top it all, they have an excellent customer service ensuring that the demands and concerns of the clients are met at all costs. Really, really pleased with the service I received

Hien H

The movers were extremely professional, quick and friendly. Alex and Thomas took my 1 bedroom full of stuff apartment in Brampton with extra care wrapping everything with moving blankets. When delivering to Calgary the other crew with Roman and Bogdan showed the same level of professionalism offloading my stuff. Everything arrived in perfect condition and Centennial showed excellent attitude and excellent customer service from the start and till the end. Paid $1400 and it was worth every penny. I will be using the company for my next move. Thanks, Hien H

Tamara Bender

They were on time, they did a great job, they wrapped everything with extra blankets and did an amazing job when they arrived at the destination. Can't say enough about their customer service! Great job and thank you!

Gita Roshni Narayan

My experience was good. I had a relatively small move (small 1 bedroom) but it was across the country. The rate quoted was what I paid. The communication was good and the movers were efficient in and out and all my items arrived in good condition. My wait was long 27 working days (I was told up to 21) but for a long distance move, delivery was done within a reasonable time frame.

Had good experience when moving the household's stuff from BC to ON. Thomas and his colleague are awesome. Would recommend their services.

This is the 2nd time I've used Centennial for a move and they do an incredibly professional job every single time. They are fast, safe and take great care of my furniture & belongings. They are great at packing small delicate items and also move heavy furniture with ease. Came with a crew of 3 men. I can't begin to explain how easy they made it for me. I was so stressed & they had everything under control. They came on time, worked swiftly, had a great attitude and helped me problem solve. I can't thank them enough for their work and professionalism. I trust them with my stuff and will absolutely hire them again! Thank you!

Everyone did an awesome job from Dave to Alex to the moving crew. Everything arrived on time and no issues. If I'm moving across the country I'll definitely use them again. Kudos !!!

I hired Centennial Moving for a move from Ottawa to Calgary last month. The company provided excellent customer service, the co-ordinator guided me through the entire process, he made sure I was well informed and updated on the status of my contract and very clear on all the charges and estimated quote. I am very impressed and super happy with all the detailed attentions and correspondence from the staff (co-ordinator, dispatcher, and movers). Highly recommend this company to anyone who is in need to move and would be happy to hire them again for my next long-distance move.

Daniel Marra

Toronto to Calgary Centennial Moving was terrific. Accuracy of picking up and delivering, punctuality, great response time. Weight/item rate is fair.

I depend heavily on reviews when making decisions, so when I write my own reviews rest assured I say it exactly how it is to assist others in making their decisions. I was tasked with assisting a physically disabled person to move from Toronto to Nova Scotia. I felt quite a bit of pressure to source out a proper moving company as I would not be available in person on both ends of the move, and my friend with her disability would be unable to navigate the matter on her own. I read the positive reviews on Centennial Moving so I decided to give them a call. Although the representative I spoke to sounded busy, he was excellent, informative and in the end illustrated to me that they actually care about doing a good job. Thank you Max, Alex and everyone at Centennial Moving for keeping your word, delivering great service in a timely manner, and ultimately doing exactly as promised. Moving is a stressful time for many, and this particular case was especially stressful for my friend and for me. Thanks for taking care of us. Top notch, keep up the good work. I will reach out to you again for any future move.

I had moved from Alberta to Toronto, it was cheap and no hidden charges. It was on time.

Yellow Letter

We moved with these guys in April, at the beginning of the pandemic. It was a pretty stressful time, as I'm sure you can imagine. We were going from Calgary to London, ON. 1. Quote - We found the quote extremely reasonable for a cross-country move. As they will communicate, the final price may change at the end, depending on the actual weight of everything (I think.) Anyways! The final cost was very close to what they quoted us. I was preparing to pay more, after reading countless reviews when we were researching companies. It wasn't though, so we were very pleased about that! 2. Care of items - The guys came in, and quickly and carefully wrapped all of our items. I didn't see or hear any crash, boom, or banging around and everything came back to us in one piece. Nothing was dirty, even this standing mirror we had, which I didn't hold a lot of hope for, came back in one shiny piece. It was my first time moving so far away, and first time using a moving service so it beyond exceeded my expectations. 3. Professionalism - the ONLY concern we had was the guys didn't want to wear a mask, they had masks, but they didn't wear them (though we didn't ask them to.) That said, it was in the beginning of the pandemic plus we know how the great mask debate goes. We kept our distance, and all was fine. They were highly communicative, polite, and kept a strict record of our belongings which we all went through together. The guys worked fast both in loading and unloading. When we got our stuff dropped off in London, they even worked hard to get all of our stuff up and down stairs, so it was minimal effort moving for us which was amazing. Overall we were totally thrilled. We also stored our items with them for a month in their facility in Toronto before having it all delivered in London. Overall, these guys made moving across country in 2020 so phenomenally smooth. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts. Sorry this review took us so long!

Moved from Calgary to Barrie. Very customer-minded folks. Sales team texts you a notice they've emailed you important documents which is great if you have multiple emails to sift through. Their replies to email was also damn quick, too; no more than 48 hrs, in my case. Their itemized quote estimation form was tedious, but accurate; very helpful for budget planning. Moving teams were different but both seemed to have a strategy where one guy fielded my questions and asked questions in return as the whole team never stopped (un)packing in the 2-ish hours it took, start to finish. The moving teams double checked my kitchen breakables were properly padded, removed all table legs & tv stands, and put it all back together on delivery. Overall, a bit more expensive per pound than some other companies, but I definitely got my money's worth with their communication, preparedness, and focus on meeting the customer's needs.

Rick Call

The scheduler was informative, cheerful and efficient to work with. They sent follow up reminders and helpful hints. When moving days arrived, the crews dove in and worked hard. They were patient, helped with last minute items and did the job very well. They arrived at the destination on time and doubt I’ve seen a crew work any harder. They held to their quoted amount, no up charges or changes as with so many other movers in past experience. This is my 2nd time using them and I’d do it again. Absolutely a good solid company to work with.

We moved from Quebec to Toronto. In all aspects this relocation service went over and above in its assistance. The logistics of that move were difficult, including the fact that the road to our new home had restrictions, due to construction works. There was a considerable extra effort made by Centennial folks at the offices to make the delivery. So our hats are off to the movers and the really great staff at Centennial They really came through in the finest way possible! Thank you!!!

Bob Ross

From the first call I felt at ease with Centennial. I spoke to Max and he explained how everything would go and believe it or not that is exactly how things went on the moving days. When the movers showed up they were on time and wrapped my furniture so it was protected. The movers took extreme care with my items and I really appreciate that. The movers worked fast and efficient. Thank you Centennial.

Nikki Berreth

I think this company is the best moving company in Canada. Great things: - There was some confusion over pickup location and delivery dates, but it was worked out very quickly. And, things were actually delivered earlier than expected (which was a blessing.) - It was lightning fast and they took a lot of care in wrapping things up. I wasn't concerned about my stuff being damaged. - They were the only moving company that responded within 24 hours of every message. - They have a very thorough "packing advice" page on their website. Super helpful! Not so great things: - They are really difficult to get a hold of over the phone, but if you just email them and ask them to phone, it works. - As single woman, one of the moving guys was a tad creepy... "He kept saying he had my number and would call me, until I lied and told him I was married." - I had everything I owned weighed (out of curiosity) and the weight I was quoted at was nearly 900 pounds over. I hear this is often the case with movers. Despite this... I've heard horror stories about moving companies so I was prepared for the worst possible scenario. This was not the case with Centennial Moving! Thanks!

Daniel Mckenzie

Super service Our moving experience with Centennial Moving was very well coordinated and carried out. Without being able to be at the pickup place, we had to trust that our belongings would be prepared for shipping and packed efficiently. We were very impressed with the management of quoting and handling our move. The dispatcher kept us up-to-date and the moving men worked tirelessly to package our belongings at the storage building and then move them into our house. We would use Centennial Moving again without a second thought!

Christian Mason Turner

Every person I dealt with went above & beyond. Started with the person on the phone who scheduled my move. The movers were very organized & efficient. I moved across the country from Edmonton to Toronto. My belongings were in storage for several months. When the time came for my move in to my new home the truck arrived the day following my settlement, just as I had wanted!! Every item arrived intact and they arranged all my furniture to my request. This was the first time I used a moving company and I highly recommend them!! Could not be more pleased!!

Matt Seraph

Extremely responsive and clear service. Reasonable price, broke little to nothing on a 4k kilometer move. Shipment was delayed a week due to covid, but that was clearly communicated before and during the delay. Strongly recommended.

Bev LeDrew-Hood

We used Centennial Moving to go from Chilliwack, BC to Nova Scotia. Their rep told us "it could take up to 21 business days" to receive our belongings. After approximately 1 month, we emailed Centennial Moving to know the ETA of our furniture. No response for 3 days. We called, only to be told they didn't know where our furniture was! What??? I demanded to speak to a supervisor and was passed on to a Warren. He told us that our truck didn't make the cutoff date of the 15th of the following month for Toronto, so now our belongings sit in a Toronto warehouse! He told me that the extreme heat and their issue of finding workers added to the situation we find ourselves in. Seriously? This is what Centennial Moving does! What excuse next? Too much rain? Too cold? My husband and I are seniors, and we desperately needed our furniture! He said he would check to see what they could do, and emailed me the next day to say nothing could be done. All of our furniture would have to wait ANOTHER MONTH before being delivered, as they only have 1 truck going from Toronto to the east coast truck per month! I remember very clearly saying to Luke (who by the way no longer works for Centennial Moving) before we signed up with this company "our goods will have more than enough time to get to Toronto on time" and he NEVER said otherwise. Had he said not likely, we'd have gone with a much more reputable company than Centennial Moving! We are utterly disgusted... I wish I had done even more research into Centennial Moving that we did, and honestly, I did do alot of research! To leave 2 seniors without any of their furniture for TWO months instead of their own words "up to 21 business days" is a travesty... They turned what should have been an extremely exciting move to Nova Scotia into a terribly stressful, uncomfortable and costly one. When Centennial Moving does get a negative review (and trust me, I have read just about each and every review now!) their generic copy/paste reply goes like this --- "We are terribly sorry for the unpleasant experience you had with us. Whilst an apology will regrettably not alter the outcome of your experience on this case, we do extend it with sincerity" Such crock! I wish Warren had stepped up to the bar and made an exceptional effort to get us our belongings to us on time. Instead, he suggested that WE find a way to get out belongings from the Toronto warehouse to Nova Scotia and told us Centennial Moving "would adjust their invoice accordingly." Instead, he has insulted us further by 1st offering us $200, then $300 and finally $400 off our invoice. We simply need our furniture! While all this fiasco is ongoing, Centennial Moving is offering 5% rebates to new customers who are seniors, military, students and for those moving during a holiday. To an existing customer, NOTHING... People, please do your homework, and avoid a disaster like ours. :(

Calgary to Bancroft ON - great communication - difficult for driver to find location due to Google giving inaccurate location for Uhaul in Bancroft where I met the truck to transfer belongings. Driver sorted this out with Centennial office and still arrived on time and was very professional and upbeat despite the -20 temps we had to work in. I had left in a hurry throwing my belongings into a storage bin. Centennial took care and repacked things properly where needed. Everything arrived unbroken and intact. Thanks, would highly recommend

I am so thankful to centennial for bringing my stuff from Vancouver to Maple ON. made my life so much easier. Truthfully i did not have a clue on how to hire movers. But you were on top of everything. Great back up team who had excellent communication skills. Delivery was on time and all the items arrived in one piece. Thank you so much for your help and care with this move.

Cheryl L'Hirondelle

Thank you Centennial Moving. You made a cross-country move painless and economical. Your guys were extremely helpful, courteous and fast on both ends and your admin team and dispatch were always very quick to answer my queries and communicate timelines . I'll highly recommend you to others!

Rahim Manji

We used them because of offering storage! Customer service was ok compared to other companies we have dealt with. Everything arrived safely and without damage. Don’t expect any understanding or breaks in price if circumstances change or you come across some unexpected situations . They quote their policy wordings religiously and are completely inflexible. we were very disappointed in their lack of reasonableness and understanding. We would not use again.

Jamie Balogun

My experience with Centennial Moving was hit and miss. Xavier in sales gave me a very detailed estimate and he informed me that pick up would between June 17th-20th (I had a preference for the 20th) and drop off would be up to 10 business days from pick up, so it would coordinate with my move in date of July 1st. They picked up my stuff on the 17th, and the movers did an excellent job of taking apart my furniture (bed frame, TV stand, tables), wrapping my couches, and all the items were tagged and placed on a checklist. I get an email the next day saying that my stuff would be delivered on the 20th!! I called right away and asked and why would I want my stuff delivered on the day I originally wanted it be picked up? I informed them that I won't be in the province until the 30th and I don't have access to my apartment by then. They told me because of Covid, people canceled their move and asked if I could get early access and have someone be there in my place to let the movers in. I informed them that my landlord would give me early access, but I'd have to pay a prorated rate for the 10 days. Centennial said they don't have any responsibility because there's a disclaimer in the booking saying: "due to Covid 19, delays in the delivery time frame may occur." And they came earlier due to the rescheduling of customers due to the pandemic. I even asked if they would pay half or something, but the answer was no, so I had to pay it myself. When I arrived at my new apartment, the movers did a great job getting everything into the unit, with the exception of them not reassembling all the pieces of furniture that they took apart. Once I started unpacking, I noticed that 2 of the legs on my love seat were broken, I was missing a box that contained a deep fryer and a magic bullet, and the shelves for a storage unit were missing. On July 3rd, I sent in a claims form, and they said it would take up to 21 business days to get back to me. After the 21 days passed, I didn't receive any confirmation, so I called them and they said they'd get back to me. Xavier contacted me on the 31st and informed me they would like to deliver my shelves to me (on August 1st) and they would send compensation for the broken chair legs and continue looking for my missing box. I told Xavier that I would be out of town Aug 1st - 4th, so I wouldn't be there to receive it, so they would deliver between Aug 10th-12th. I contacted Xavier on August 6th and asked him for the status of the location of my box, when they'd send the money to fix my chair legs and to confirm the date of dropping off my shelves. Xavier told me I have to contact the claims department for that information, despite him contacting me on the 31st and having heard nothing from the claims department since I sent in my claim on July 3rd, but I sent an email to them. Rex from the claims department emailed me on Aug 6th saying they are still looking for my box, and they will deliver my shelves in the beginning of the following week and will inform me 2 days in advance to confirm. I emailed him back on Aug 11th saying I will be out town from Aug 13-23rd, and I didn't receive any notification about the delivery of my shelves, and asked if they could just mail them to me instead. No response. I called them on Aug 24th and they said they would email me the next day. Rex emailed me on the 25th and apologized for not responding earlier because they were still looking for my stuff and couldn't find it, and my shelves were delivered to someone else and haven't been able to get a hold of them. They offered me $60 for my missing box, shelves and the broken chair legs. I told them I would rather have my shelves, but at this point, it had been almost 2 months, and very little communication, so I accepted it. Overall, I would say the movers did a really good job, but my main issue is with the lack of communication. I felt like I had to initiate the majority of conversations to get resolutions to my issues and that my value as a customer wasn't taken in consideration multiple times.

I used their service for about three month ago. They supposed to deliver my items from Saskatoon to Saint John. When I received, one of my items was missed. Whenever I contacted their claim department, they promissed me to send my item soon. But after three months, I haven't received that. I do not recommend this company, unfortunately. .

Happy Deal Awesome service, punctual and friendly! I had Mike and Martins teams; they were awesome! Great prices too! I called at least five places and they were the most competitive. You can trust them with your stuff! Loved dealing with Centennial Moving.

Learned my lesson! I wish I checked the Better Business Bureau about this company. Please check BBB before you choose your moving company.

Let this be a warning to all prospective customers. Centennial is terrible with communication, won’t provide the services that you pay for, and will lose your belongings. Will never use this company again for the way I’ve been treated.

Earl Abramson

I now know of a relocation company that did not disappoint me. A mover that will be there for me in my times of need. It is Centennial. I first came across this relocation company fifteen months ago, thanks to my childhood friend. She told me about it when we were chatting late one evening. She was so positive about them and gave me a challenge of hiring it out just in case I was in need of relocation service. True to her words, I did so just over a year later and what ensued was beyond my expectation, Tremendous relocation services.

Jackie Hughes

As I have recently settled in and am getting adjusted to my new home, I just wanted to follow up on my relocation and the moving services I received from Centennial Moving. Due to the fact that it was a long distance move, from Ottawa to Vancouver, it’s impossible to say that it was an easy relocation. However, the delivery went smooth and the driver and his helpers were quick, efficient and I am glad to say, nothing was broken or ruined. Centennial Moving guys maneuvered it perfectly, like professionals and didn't leave a scratch. They were quick, efficient, and very aware that they were moving valuables. I'm so appreciative of this excellent service and recommend them highly.

We used Centennial Moving for our long-distance move (Edmonton to Toronto), and couldn't be happier with the pricing and service. I had myself wrapped everything pretty well, and thus, we did not need their wrapping services. They did a great job of moving our stuff though, and there was no damage to our belongings. They responded very fast via email, and sent reminders and follow-ups. Their weight measurement was very closed to my own estimation, which was a relief. I was really stressed when choosing a moving company, but am very happy with my choice now.

Jek Kalki

You came highly recommended and after using your services I fully understand why!! The teams that assisted with my move were wonderful. what an amazing job they did. I cannot sing their praises high enough. They truly were the full package. Worked tirelessly. Strategically arranged all my items to my desired location. All in all pleasure to work with. I have been raving about your company ever since and will continue to do so! Thank you for the pleasant moving experience.

Sergii Kozak

Recently moved a 1 bed apartment from Toronto to Vancouver and we were very satisfied with the whole process. The instructions were clear, the pricing was transparent and met our expectations and all our stuff arrived in perfect condition. Highly recommend this company!

I did a lot of research before deciding to go with Centennial for my move from Ottawa to Calgary. I chose them based on the reviews here. After a couple emails that were promptly replied, we set up a time frame: movers would come between Oct 19th and 24th. Based on those dates, I schedules EVERYTHING else: hotel, car shipping, airbnb in Calgary, flights, car rental, vacation at work, our dog's flight, dog hotel, etc. After confirmation, they sent me a spreadsheet for a more accurate estimate and requested photo of big items (like treadmill, etc). I don't know why, but I ended up taking pics of everything in my house and sent to them so they had a better idea. 3 or 4 days later, Michael sent me the message below: "Our dispatch took a look at the pictures and it looks like we will not be able to load your items between the 19th to the 24th, We are forced to reschedule your move to 19th and 24th of November" I could not believe what I was reading. That was 2 weeks before my move and I already had half of my house packed. I called and basically bagged them to come, but the final answer was no. They kept saying that my stuff would not fit the truck, but I strongly believe that it was actually the opposite. I don't have a lot of things and they simply denied to provide the service because it was probably not a good deal for them, I guess. I sent an email highlighting everything that I had booked based on their dates and most of it was non-refundable. I ended up finding another company that did a great job with an excellent customer service: Midwest Moving & Storage Services. They provided a specific date for picking up our stuff instead of a time frame, they were professional and everything was delivered without one single damage. Anyway, I was super disappointed with Centennial and I hope that I was an exception. It's important to say that Michael always treated me with courtesy and was quick to answer. If you decide to go with them, keep in mind they can cancel without much information and you'll be left with a big problem that they simply don't care to fix.

Katrina Tang

Professional, careful, friendly. Moved us from Calgary to Toronto. Eugene and his team are the people you want in your home making your move as easy as possible. From packing family heirlooms to delivering the wedding china – Centennial Moving did it right. Eugene led the team energetically, precisely, and reassuringly. Centennials rates are more than fair for the service he provides.

AJ Dizon

Don’t do business with this company. Terrible customer service, won’t even admit to their own wrong doings and just the worst company ever.

Coley

Good and smooth experience with Centennial! Nothing lost or broken. I did a long haul move recently. Max and the long distance team were easy to work with and had great communication with me throughout the process. Their prices are very fair in my opinion. The movers loaded and unloaded my items with care and super quickly. One thing I will say is to make sure to pack your belongings properly and with great care when working with a moving company. Yes, the movers will blanket wrap and label everything, but at the end of the day you should make sure your items are packed, bubble wrapped, and organized in a thorough manner beforehand of you are doing it yourself. This will just lessen the stress on your end the day of pick-up. Overall I would recommend them!

Regan Meloche

Centennial was great to work with. Very responsive support staff, movers were friendly and efficient. We moved from the prairies out East and received our stuff sooner than we expected, and everything was intact and in order. No surprises on any of the bills and they were great at communication. Would definitely use them again.

Xylia Fraser

Centennial Moving was recommended to me by a good friend who had used their services for a cross-country move. I did a move from Toronto to rural Nova Scotia. They provided me with a student discount and even accommodated a small change to the drop off location mid-move. Everyone that I interacted with from the company was very pleasant and accommodating. John in sales was great at answering the thousand questions I had. The movers in charge of pick-up came on an extraordinarily hot day. They did a really quick and efficient job despite the heat. The drop-off driver was great too. Both the pick-up and drop-off drivers arrived on time, which was greatly appreciated! The price was very reasonable. I've done 4 cross-country moves, and this was the most affordable option for what we were moving. Everything also arrived in the same condition as when it was picked up. Dealing with Centennial was a pretty stress-free experience. Highly recommend!

My review is the similar to Jamie Balogun's review below. I'm giving this company 2nd star only because perfect loading / unloading and no damage at the end. The story is: I requested this service to move my stuff from Toronto to Calgary 40 days before pick up day that gave this company plenty of time to prepare. Btw, they designated the pick up day which was September, 27 (Sunday) in the first time. Then, 4 days before pick up they called me and asked to shift it to September, 26 (Saturday). Like that, 4 days before! And told me if I can't go with the new date then they have to return me my deposit and say farewell. Could you believe? It felt like a direct spit in my face. I asked for discount apology and they gave me like $50 which is nothing compare to my day off that I had to take to do packing on Friday. And then the fanny part started. On their website says delivery time is 14 days (max). They told me that truck is going to depart the next week when we booked the pick up time. But after pick up when I asked what's the approximate estimate they told me the end of October! What? 1 month? I packed all my winter closes and boots because I counted on 14 days and here we have 5 weeks instead of 2-3. And it's not the end of the story. Here I was in Calgary, end of October, -12 degree, asking for my stuff and guess what? They told me that the truck is in transit and they can't say when to expect it. It's like they aren't connected to their drivers. The next week, approximately November, 5 they told me that they HOPE the delivery will occur at the end of the NEXT WEEK. I lost my nerves and hope by that time. Long story short I received my stuff on November, 14. When I asked drivers what was the problem that delivery took 1.5 months, it appears that there were regular transits but my stuff wasn't good enough to fit in, to little volume. So they continued to bump me to next week before the right truck with the right space appeared. My advice: DO NOT HAVE A DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. There is no customer respect (especially if you have a small volume) and they are not reliable at all. Every day a new estimate either for pick up or delivery. To management: I don't need your apology, it worth nothing. You gave it to Jamie Balogun 3m ago and here we have the same situation which means you don't care about your customers.

My Girlfriend and I made the move from Calgary, Alberta to Toronto, Ontario and decided to choose Centennial Moving since they received great reviews from most people. We booked the pick up date and paid the deposit fee, since we were in an apartment we needed to book the elevator and gave them a 3 hr time slot(12pm-3pm) for when they could arrive. They told us thanks for the confirmation and they would be there from 1pm-2pm. They asked me if a 72ft foot truck could fit on the street and I said maybe because there is an alley behind the building. I read other online review and noticed there would be an extra fee if the truck couldn't fit which is ridiculous considering downtown Calgary has a lot of tight spaces that aren't transport friendly.... Fast forward to the move date, I get a call saying that they have arrived. I go downstairs to let them in and realize that it is a totally different size truck/company "Miracle Movers". I've heard horror stories of people picking up your items and never seeing them again so I called Centennial to make sure what they told me was true. He told me that they couldn't fit a 72ft truck so they rented one from another company. I said it would have been nice to know since these are my belongings. It seemed like they did not care to inform me of what was actually going on, but we needed to be out that day so we continued to go ahead. Our belongings were all loaded and we made a list for ourselves as well as labelled each item multiple times since the scribbles on the form they fill out are barely legible. Fast forward to the delivery date...They show up to our condo 2 hrs early and ask if they are able to unload. Stating there would be a fee when I clearly told them not to come before 2pm since that was when the elevator was booked. I checked with concierge and no one was using the elevator at that time so I was able to use it, luckily. We get our items unloaded into the condo and noticed that they are beginning to unload another persons items; furniture that isn't ours. We tell them that the furniture isn't ours and his response was "haha oh, well I guess we forgot to deliver it to the person before you." and took it back to the truck. Before we sign the papers we notice that they forgot to deliver some of my expensive personal items(collector shoes)$600+ which were plastic wrapped together wit my name written on it in permanent marker. I tell them this and they said to write it on the contract and file a claim with the office which I do. The response from the office is less than helpful since they state they have no idea where my items went and maybe it was delivered to someone else. Of course at this point I know they weren't delivered to someone else and one of their employees took them because my girlfriend and I labelled every item thoroughly with our names on it to prevent this from happening. At the end of the day my items are never to be found again and they are ignoring my emails. I paid a lot of money for this service and am hurt by how I was treated. My advice to you is that if you value your possessions do not use this company. The reviews may be good, but they are no different from any other moving company out there. I wish I would have picked up on their disregard for my personal items earlier. I guess you live and learn. Thanks for reading and good luck with the move. I am only putting down a 1 since all my items didn't vanish into thin air.

centennial moving did a great job moving my stuff from Gimli Manitoba to Kelowna British Columbia, on time and within the estimate they provided. I like the two guys Vasseliy and Roman, and they would then pick up local people to help with what was needed. I would strongly recommend them for anyone planning a move.

Frankie Ruta

I booked a move from Toronto to Vancouver. The date was all set and I had friends and family schedule their day to assist us. Late in the arrival window I received a call advising that due to an event in Toronto, the truck would not come. They insisted that roads were closed from Vaughn which was strange as that's where my parents drove in from. Anyway they rescheduled for the next day. Although I requested them to accommodate my work schedule, they called in the morning with a 2-5pm window to arrive. At about 5:30 I received a call informing that the movers wouldn't be coming because their earlier move went late. My partner had to take the day off work to accommodate. When asked to make things right they offered the equivalent of $15 off. TLDR; Terrible dispatch - I don't think they've head of Google or Google Maps. Terrible communication. Insulting remediation

Just recently my spouse and I found out that we had to relocate for work ( we work for the same company). I googled moving companies within Canada and started to receive quotes- Centennial being one of them. I started reading reviews from all of the companies that supplied us with a quote and found that Centennial not only provided us with the most affordable quote- their reviews seemed to be 50/50, so we chose them. I was starting to get nervous as I had read some reviews about them cancelling last minute. My sales rep had also given me a possible pick up date then left for holidays but failed to mention this to me. Fortunately Trey started responding to my emails and was able to assist with the rest of our move. The movers showed up right on time, the driver and local worker in Saskatchewan did a fantastic job and were super easy to talk to. Our belongings arrived in Kemptville, ON just a few days later and the 2 men plus driver did a fantastic job making sure that everything was stacked and stored properly so that it all fit in my storage unit. Their quote wasn't too far off from what my weight really was and very affordable. This was our second time moving across the country and first time using Centennial. I would %100 recommend Centennial to anyone looking. Thanks to Warren, Trey and the men moving our furniture, for making our move so easy.

behnam salek

Never trust these scammers! They cancelled my appointment 2 hours before the pick up date. I had to pay twice to another company to move my belongings last minute. Please think twice before selecting this so called “moving company”. Not reliable service.

This was one of the most stressful experiences I have had. I decided to use them for my move from Ontario to Alberta. The whole process started off well, but as soon as it came time for the delivery to occur in the window of time they told me, the the process turned bad quickly. They would not tell me a specific day they were delivering between the window of time they told me and when the last day came they told me they didn't know when my things would be delivered. They were TWO WEEKS late delivering my things which meant I had to sleep on my apartment floor, pay for a hotel and eat out constantly. I said I didn't want to pay until I knew all my things were there, but they refused to move my stuff in until I paid. They lost one of my boxes which had a $300 pots and pans set in it and all I was given back in compensation was $30 and that took FOUR WEEKS after delivery to receive. The only positive thing I have to say about this company is that they respond quickly to their emails. I will not be using this company again if I decide to make a big move again.

I highly recommended Centennial Moving. This was our first time to move home in Canada. I spent few days comparing different companies and finally I chose Centennial Moving. The most important reason that I chose this company is their professionalism. Sales provided easy used form to help you estimate the weight of your furniture and items before you decided, after that sales give you an estimate price. At the same time, sales clearly answered my all of questions one by one. I was moved by enthusiasm of sales and reasonable price. This is a long distance moving. My family moved from Ontario to BC. I’ve worried about our item were broken for long distance moving. What surprised me was that our all of furniture were wrapped up by soft mat that moving company provided after they moved out. All my items were protected well. Although we waited for a month to receive the furniture. I can understand that the bad weather in the middle of Canada in winter wastes a lot of time. This moving was still a good experience. Thanks again!

Moved from Ontario to Alberta and Centennial Moving made everything smooth. From beginning to end, the process was easy and the movers arrived on-time. They even included free 5 week storage for our things before we had an address in Alberta. Definitely recommend to anyone with moving needs!

I highly recommend the services of Centennial Moving. Due to COVID-19, I’ve had to move out of my Toronto apartment and put everything in storage (whilst being in the US). Organizing a move from another province and not being there to oversee the process is a little nerve racking, but Centennial put my mind at ease every step of the way. From the first phone call, to the packing and then to ensuring all my furniture and boxes were safely in the storage facility, I felt assured everything was being taken care of with the greatest professionalism. Paying a bit extra is definitely worth the peace of mind. Would definitely use Centennials services again.

We hired Centennial Moving in January 2020 to move our tiny 1 bedroom basement from Toronto to Kelowna BC in Feb. 2020. The customer services team was always very responsive and attentive since the beginning, and provided a somewhat accurate estimate of the total weight and price of our move. They were flexible to accommodate a last minute urgent change in the pick-up date, and were punctual and fast loading our stuff in their truck. Our stuff arrived in Kelowna much earlier than we had expected and everything was properly delivered, with no item missing or damaged. I believe Centennial has the best cost benefit in the market, providing high quality service with reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend Centennial for anyone looking for relocating within Canada.

Centennial took all the stress out of moving a house full, halfway across Canada. Our representative assured us that everything would be handled with the upmost care, with responsibility and they did not disappoint. The driver and crew were outstanding and reliable at what they do. We without hesitation recommend them for long distance moves.

We just made an accross Canada move with this guys from Vancouver,BC to Moncton,NB and I have to say THANK YOU, amazing service all around the movers were kind, professional and punctual, super recommended!

Even though I am going through the unfortunate event of splitting up with my long-term partner, I am happy that I came upon these wonderful people with warm and kind hearts. They have been more than professional, I could feel their kindness and support while they were moving all my belongings into my new apartment. It was a complicated move since both me and my partner, moved the same day, but the movers managed their way through, and did everything even better than it was expected! Thank you from the heart, Centennial Moving!

We went with centennial cause they were the cheapest option we had that didn’t seem outright sketchy, and we had friends who used them previously. We were doing a move from a city center in Alberta, to a rural community in BC. Their communication was good before we approached the window for pickup. My emails would get responded to pretty quickly. There was a student rate which was very helpful. There was also a lot that happened that was kinda frustrating though. -We were given a delivery window a week before the date we asked, or into the next month, which we didn’t have access to our apartment anymore. We had to go with the earlier week so our delivery window was originally set to be the 9th to the 13th. -Friday before our delivery window I emailed asking if perhaps I could get a better estimate on when the truck would show up within the 5-day window. I emailed on Friday and didn’t hear anything back until the Monday, saying now that they wouldn’t be picking up until Saturday the 15th due to truck maintenance. They had told us that they didn’t hear anything about this until that day also. While I understand that sometimes things out of your control happens, it was really frustrating to hear days after the issue occurred. Dispatch has our contact information and if something was going wrong, we really should have been alerted as soon as possible. We originally had plans to be away for the weekend and had to scramble to change our plans. -It would have been nice to have a heads up when they were on their way. We were told they would show up between 9-11am. At 8:30 I got a call, assuming they were saying they were on their way. Turns out they were already outside and I had to scramble to get my dog put away and get dressed. -The movers who arrived to pick up our stuff was pretty good. They seemed to take care in wrapping up the furniture. They did scuff up the floor in the bedroom a bit, which took some work to get out. -They were very firm in the fact that we had to reserve parking for their 70 foot truck at both locations. Turns out this wasn’t the case in either scenario. They just boxed in cars while loading up the truck on pickup. When they showed up at drop off they had a smaller truck. -The people who dropped off didn’t seem to take as much care as the team who picked up. Boxes that were clearly labeled were carried in and placed upside down. A foot of our TV was completely torn off. There was a giant scratch in our antique dresser. The other antique dresser was all scuffed up on the bottom. -The drop off team also didn’t put together any furniture that was taken apart. Legs were taken off of our large 9 drawer dresser and never put back on. Being able to lay down the dresser to put the legs back on and lift it back up is not a one man job, and not something I can do on my own. -We have someone else’s else bedframe -When we contacted them, they simply told us to put in a claim. You only have 7 days to claim something as damaged or missing, so it was a mad dash to go over the rest of our stuff to make sure nothing else was damaged or missing -We put in our claim a week ago, and still haven’t heard anything back. I have a feeling most of the damage occurred between transferring from their large truck, to the small truck they contracted out. If I was to need a mover in the future again, I would be hesitant to use them due to the amount of damage that has occurred to our furniture. I think if you are moving from large center to large center it would be alright, but wouldn’t suggest them for a more rural move.

Stop looking for another moving company, because you just found the right one! Alex, Eugene and their crews did an outstanding job handling our move from Quebec City to our new place in Toronto. Xavier handled the planning and logistics and was very accommodating; even supplying us with a last minute request for an extra worker. The crew of three showed up on time. They were polite, fast and efficient and handled our property with care. The price was fair and reasonable. The cheapest we found. The move went smoothly and the stress that comes along with moving was greatly alleviated thanks to them. I will definitely hire this company if a need arises and will recommend them to anyone looking for a professional moving company that's on point. Thank you again to all and especially the crews involved.

Claire Gao

I moved from Regina SK to Surrey BC, and they guys really really sent my furniture very quickly than I think. Just one problem, if you have storage in BC, that will be better!! It was too quick to find a place to settle my furniture. lol! Good service and good communication!! Mike, Mark and Alex, Good job!!

Arti Deonarine

Thank you for the wonderful service we received. Moving is never easy but the team who wrapped & packed our items did it with such care and respect. The team who off loaded the items, took equal care and they were also fast and efficient. The team coordinating the move, Alex, Matt, Trey and the others whom I spoke with and emailed, we just wonderful! Thank you everyone for your time and service!

Alvin Mclaughlin

I used Centennial Moving last year for my long-distance move to Saint John,NB. And now, it was the second time I have hired them for moving my parents to my city. The both moves went exceptionally well. They have always been careful with our valuables especially as we have antiques. I don’t like too much writing, I would just say that I had two great moves with them. So, highly recommend this company.

Valeriy Shevchuk

Simply put , superb!! Thanks so much for moving my mother's apartment to Toronto last Friday. I now have a total piece of mind she is safe and sound!! Big thanks!!

John Lionberg

Centennial did a great job moving our stuff from Penticton, BC to Toronto, Ontario. The movers were very quick. They explained the whole process from A to Z and were friendly and super efficient and put my furniture in each room and assemble back my queen bed. The entire moving process was professional to me and I wouldn’t hesitate contacting them again for future moves if any.

Trying to book with centennial was the longest run around of my life. I received a quote and it states on the quote you simply need to email them to book your position. I emailed them about it, asked what I could expect, etc, was happy with the dates and thought they were providing a good service. Turns out that all of it was just lip service, as the emails were only 'informational' - I had not booked at all despite agreeing to the dates and asking what I needed to do. By the time they asked me about it, the booking date was already full and I would have to wait another month. Waiting another month just to get the turn around again? No thank you.

Steve Olofinlade

Right from filling out a mere web enquiry form till point of delivery, Centennial came through for me in a very professional manner and delivered on all of my expectations. Some of the qualities that stood out for me includes: Professionalism, attention to detail, clear communication, prompt/on-time. I would definitely recommend their services to any would-be mover.

Beth Peiris

Guys were courteous and prompt. It's a long, not easy move from Kamloops to Midtown Toronto but they kept a good attitude and got the job done. My furniture and fragile items were all handled with care and I really appreciated them taking things apart and putting them back together. It took them less than 2 hours to move everything from my 1BR apartment, and I was amazed at how fast and efficient the whole process was! My sincerest thanks to the team. I will be referring you guys and using you guys in the future if needed.

Sean Brown

I'd like to thank Centennial Moving for helping me with my move from Toronto ON to Calgary AB. The loading went really fast.I didn’t expect that it will be that fast. The movers worked professionally. I have a lot of fragile and expensive items and they delivered them to Calgary sooner than I expected and all in one piece. That’s good. Also, I want to say thank you for the person that was coordinating and helping me by phone and email. He gave all the information about every thing so no surprises would happed during the move. And for the record, the price was more than just good. The price was cheap and high-quality service was provided all the way.

shima haghdoust

We have recently moved from Montreal to Vancouver. The promised delivery date was 3-6 weeks and they deliveres our stuffs on the 3rd week. I was a little bit stressed on the day of delivery since they couldn’t give a precise time and I live in a tower, which made it difficult to book an elevator on time. But, putting that aside, everything arrived safe. Please pack your stuffs carefully and be sure about packing your furniture too. We had friends who used cheaper companies and have broken chairs but We are super happy! Again be sure to pack everything carefully. Thanks Centennial!

Dawn Smith

My family got the fastest move so far; within 8 business days we got a full move of our household from Etobiocoke to Saskatchewan, Regina. We are thankful and happy with the move and we’re glad that we picked Centennial Moving. The moving price was smartly tailored and it worked pretty well for us.

My experienceswith Centennial moving was very positive and pleasant. I used them twice. I moved from London Ontario to Winnipeg Manitoba two years ago, and I just moved back from Winnipeg to London Ontario a week ago. Each time I enjoyed their service very much. They are very professional movers and disembled and and wrapped my furniture and treadmill during pickup and set up upon delivery. They communicated well and updated their estimated arrival time while they were on the way so that I had an idea when they would arrive. Their rate was also the best and reasonable. I definitely will recommend centennial moving to my friends.

Shahar Yusupov

We were very impressed with the efficiency and courtesy (of your crew.) They went out of their way to accommodate all of our moving needs in a very stressful situation for us. They were superb in terms of assisting us with last minute packing and disassembling of furniture for the move and packing them safely to minimize damage in the most efficient and rapid manner and reassembling them at our destination while being patient with our most capricious requests. They operated like a cohesive team selflessly helping each other while having fun in the process.

Tommie Gilbert

Remarkable crew and service! We moved from Winnipeg, Manitoba to Albany, New York. This was our first time using Centennial Moving and we would highly recommend them. Our first experience was great, they went way over and above anything we could have expected. Josh and Ben, the movers, took such great care to protect our furniture, it was just phenomenal. And knowing our furniture is safely stored in a climate-controlled storage really gave us tremendous peace of mind. On time, everything you could want in terms of efficiency and productivity, obviously experienced and very professional. Very pleased with our moving experience.

Mona Zakkak

Centennial moving company was amazing. I was so skeptical with finding the right moving company, after reading reviews I decided to go with centennial moving. They assisted my move from Toronto to Thunder Bay. Customer service reps worked well with me, they answered to all of my needs, pick up date for my items and arrival date for my items were as told from the reps with timing etc. Items arrived in one piece and they came on time to pick up my items and also at drop off location. The movers work really hard to help satisfy their customers. I will definitely use them for the future move I have. ????

Anita Kay

Centennial has moved me from Charlottetown to Vancouver and I cannot say enough how happy I am for choosing Centennial to arrange my move as I had some of the horrible experiences in moving across the country, Centennial did the move with orchestrated way and an effortless to me, they have packed everything, load them into the truck and drove all the way to Vancouver, reached on time, paid them the balance and got my goods in perfect shape, as easy as it sounds, Thank you Centennial, will surely recommend you!

Sahra Mengel

We moved from Edmonton to Saskatoon with Centennial Moving and would like to share our experience with this company. We can say that the movers were very professional, prompt, and hard working. The moving crew arrived on time, worked quickly and diligently while all our belongings were treated with care. We denoted that everyone was very open about charges and were constantly advising us on how we could save money. We're very happy to have selected this company for our relocation.

Elliot Mayhew

Had a great experience moving transcontinental. Everything arrived on time and in one piece. Nothing was lost or broken. Loading was done in an efficient manner and the movers took the extra step to properly wrap furniture and seal fragile boxers prior to shipping. Highly recommend!

Centennial helped me with a cross country move (Ontario to British Columbia). Representatives from the company constantly reached out with updates, and new information as it arose. They were extremely friendly, and responsive to all inquiries that I placed. They were also extremely flexible with the timelines required for my specific move. I stored some items in their warehouse to ensure the delivery lined up with my arrival in BC. When the movers arrived they spent a good deal of time tagging, and wrapping all items to be moved. They were extremely careful with all the goods, including a large flatscreen TV. The items arrived at my new apartment in an extremely timely manner, and the second round of movers were even nicer than the first. All items arrived in the exact condition they left in aside from a few plates that were broken due to poor packing on my part. I will definitely be using Centennial again, if I decide to do another long distance move.

Joanne StOnge

Centennial Moving was of the best companies I used over the years. Once they received my request, I was contacted and the communication was excellent throughout the move. They were on time both picking up and delivering. The driver was courtesy and even though he was alone, he did an excellent job. Thank you for a stress free move.

Nina Chernova

Centennial Moving is the company of real professionals. Thank you VERY MUCH for your J0B.

Mark Antonio

Maks Orlov

Great service!! Very professional and punctual service. Jon gave us an estimate price which was right on the dot. On the first moving day Mike showed up with his crew whom were very quick and efficient. The delivery was done within my expected time. It's important to make sure to choose the correct moving company because at the end of the day it's your personal items that are in their hands and I will be comfortable now to use their services in future.

Samantha Neil

Couldn’t have asked for a BETTER moving experience. Centennial moving brought my entire apartment to Toronto ON from Fredericton NB. I can confidently say they handled all of my things with care. I used plastic furniture wrap on all of my large items for extra protection but believe it may have not been needed but that’s just in my nature to go over board. The movers were very kind and the team was incredibly great to work with. Highly recommend for any small moves OR across country. Im so glad that Centennial moving made a stressful move, a lot easier on me. Affordable and great service.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We moved from London, Ontario to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan with Centennial Moving. The staff are friendly and very responsive online. The move is relative easy and smooth, the delivery at the destination is on time. Everything arrived in good condition. I am happy with their service and would recommend them to people who need help for cross-country move.

Maurice Thompson

I was looking online and saw they had positive ratings on Homestars so I gave them a try. Moving to New Brunswick was challenging but on the day of moving I realized that I hired the best movers I have ever worked with. Getting my furniture into the unit was a tricky task, but they worked it out professionally by taking great care of my things and packing them nicely. Centennial Moving was worth every penny we paid, I usually try to find the best deal financially but when it comes to these movers the best deal you can have is a deal with a company that delivers their promises.

Harpreet Kaur

Hi, i hired this company for moving from brampton to Calgary. The experience was excellent. Movers packed everything very nicely and goods were delivered in 3 weeks. Goods were in excellent condition nothing broken. I got all my stuff, nothing was missing. Movers were very friendly. I will definitely recommend this company. They are little expensive than others but if you are satisfied with the service, every peny is worth to pay.

Jacqueline Dunham

Moved from Guelph On to Victoria BC, excellent. Guelph pick up on time quick and well organized, delivery to Victoria given the horrible roads in Bc given the floods, received in record time. Over all delivery perfect, quick friendly, and efficient. Excellent move, for a long distance. Jackie. Victoria BC

Leslie Moynihan

Centennial Moving conducted our move from Winnipeg to Calgary and it went very smoothly. The credit really goes to the movers. The company has a customer service that did seem quite effective to me. And the quote was good enough. The movers were great all together. They displayed amazing skills while packing my valuables. The movers were respectful, friendly and full of enthusiasm. They delivered all my stuff in great condition to Calgary and I just couldn’t be happier.

Melanie Willie

I had to move from Vancouver to Edmonton, this was my second move across provinces. My first experience with a different mover was a nightmare. Thankfully, Centennial Moving was not! The customer service was amazing, and the movers in each city were on time (early even!), careful and very fast and organized getting my belongings to and from their trucks. I would definitely recommend Centennial to anyone who needs a local or long distance move! 5 Stars!

Nicole Campbell

I had a really great experience with this company. They were very efficient and wrapped my furniture well. The truck driver was able to manipulate a very large trailer into a tight compound. All of the staff were very courteous and professional. It was a very smooth moving experience!

(Translated) From Montreal to Vancouver. We are very happy to have chosen Centennial Moving. The removal and delivery dates have been respected. All our furniture has been packaged with care, and at no extra cost. Customer service is responsive, I always had an answer during the day. You just have to remember that this is a company that groups together several removals in order to be able to offer good prices, so you have to have some flexibility in terms of delivery dates and times. But this allows to have a really very good quality of service / price ratio. I highly recommend !!

Debbie Ward

They made my move effortlessly. The packers took great care in making sure i got everything i wanted. Nothing broke and most of my items were quite fragile. They also packed my storage container perfectly. Great Company I would highly recommend them.

Brian Johnson

Trey led my team of movers last week. Great team of Centennial Moving! Friendly, organized and efficient movers! I moved from a three floor walk up so it was not an easy job. The movers were fantastic with my dog, too. This is not a glamorous job but these guys got it done with integrity. I'm not sure how this happened, but I paid for two movers and three showed up! Also, the sales rep Ksena in the office was very helpful when I had questions.

Tim Groves

Well I can start with Alex and Michael were awesome to deal with and the centennial guy that tagged and loaded our stuff was fantastic. Now for the bad. They hire people from city to city that are not employed by centennial moving. I moved from Saskatoon to Ontario and I had 11000 dollars under my dresser I was saving for moving expenses and with the moving stress and everything else going on I forgot to grab it before they got to my dresser. I went in and the kid they hired stole it. I don’t care what there response is to this I have no reason to lie. I phoned centennial and reported it and spoke with the general manager who thought it would be a good idea to threaten me with throwing my stuff in storage was his only response. Very unprofessional and I was very upset. I am extremely upset about this theft and it has affected my life immensely. So I would be careful and watch there helpers. The move was seamless and arrived with minimal damage and it arrived ahead of schedule. I would not ever use them again I would use somebody that has a good bbb rating. Do some Research and investigate thoroughly before hiring. Also there final price was less than originally quoted. So as far as centennial goes they did great the thief of a kid they hired to help not so much

Alan Pickens

I moved from Vancouver to Toronto a 2 bedroom house. I want to say thank you for the people that organized the move. The coordinator was very kind, told me all the information that I needed for my move. The movers came right on time. They worked fast and they are real professionals. It was very exciting to see how they work. My goods came in Toronto even earlier then I thought, because I asked if they can bring them in Toronto a little bit earlier. Thank you very much for good service.

Sandra Leonard

We booked Centennial Moving as they had absolutely high ratings. We read the reviews and were happy with our decision. In December 2020, we moved from Saint John, NB to Ottawa, Ontario. We were unable to be in Saint John, NB when they arrived, but our landlady helped guide them. And with COVID-19, everything had to be safe. For us, we had been there a few weeks before to pack and wrap everything ourselves, because we chose to do so, but Centennial will do that for you. They labelled every item that we had as we were not able to do so. Everything arrived in perfect condition. They were easy to contact, we communicated by telephone and email. Cost of the move was very reasonable. We would recommend them and we would use them again.

Jo Anne Vidito

Initially we were pleased with the quote we received and hired Centennial for our cross Canada move. We decided to bring more with us than originally intended not realizing it would end up making this company an absolute nightmare to deal with! The pickup on September 7 went fine but we got a bit of a rude email the next day advising that they were going to levy a $300 fine on top of the $12000 fee because we had more than originally thought. We had no issue with that and were told if our belongings were in Toronto by September 15 we could expect a 3 week or so delivery. After getting no response to several emails requesting updates, I started commenting on their Facebook posts asking for updates. A day or so later I would get a generic response: “I apologize for the late reply. I asked my dispatch team to keep me posted about the estimated time of arrival of your items. So, I will keep you posted, and if I will have any updates, I will let you know. Michael Long-distance Senior Coordinator” After several of these back and forth over a 2 week period I was finally able to receive this gem today - 23 days after pick up - “Your goods are is safe in the Toronto warehouse waiting for the next truck going to East Coast. As per our dispatch team, the expected delivery date is closer to the end of October. I will keep you posted about any updates. Thank you for your understanding. Wish you a wonderful day! Michael Long-distance Senior Coordinator” There’s a heavy duty mechanic’s tool chest that is needed for employment but it doesn’t seem to matter! Guess it’s true… you get what you pay for! Hire a nationally known company! Stay far away from this company!

Martin Sterling

Centennial Moving were able to help me out with a long distance move, with less than a week's notice. I needed to move the contents of a first floor, two bed flat from Calgary to a house in Toronto and only had a couple of days off work to do it. After filling in the online form on Centennial Moving website I received a call back promptly and arranged a very competitive quote there and then, with no obligation. They even gave me 24 hours to wait and hear back from other removals services before confirming. The two removal men turned up on time and were friendly, professional and efficient throughout when loading the lorry. As the distance was quite far it was recommended that the job be done over two days, with the delivery happening the following day. It is worth noting that I was charged for the job itself, and not by the hour, so the fact that it took two days did not cost me any more money. I thought this was very reasonable and honest. On delivery day I was given regular updates by text as to when they would be arriving. On arrival the guys put all the items in whichever rooms they were asked and even helped to put the big fridge-freezer doors back on (they had to be removed to get it out of the flat). In conclusion, I couldn't recommend this company more!

Robert Lee

Thanks for not making any mistakes during my relocations. I trusted you not to let me down and it was so. The relocation services were so different from what I had expected before. Instead of the usual average relocation services that most companies offer, my experience with Centennial Moving was unique. You did well by moving me in such a great way. I am certain of involving you in other relocations.

vasile susuc

Great stuff Great company

Rose Amini

I've done 4 cross-country movings with Centennial moving and I am very satisfied. They rate is fair, and they deliver on time. I will definitely use their service again for any future moving!

Marie White

I hired Centennial Moving without really knowing much about them. They gave me quite a low quote and I was pleased. They were very efficient and organized. The movers seemed very experienced with handling heavy pieces of furniture. They were particularly good at packing glassware. All my glassware survived the journey which is remarkable. A table suffered some scratches but I’m not really concerned about that. They stuck to the original quote at the end of the move and there were no hidden costs. I sincerely thank them for making my move so easy.

Donald Coates

For the most part the move went well with the furniture etc being well packed and the movers being efficient and amicable. The cost estimate was adhered to and Centennial did try to keep costs to a minimum. Overall the time estimates were accurate as well; other than for the actual days of the pickup and delivery where they we later than estimated on both days. They were late for pickup due to mechanical problems and late for delivery due to road construction. Both of which are understandable, but we would of appreciated better communication from Centennial notifying us of the delays without us having to prompt them.

Carroll Potter

This was our first experience using a moving company but there was no option since it was a long-distance move. Our experience was overwhelmingly positive. After I filled out the moving form on their website, I received an immediate estimate. When arrived, we denoted their attitude and professionalism that is very important to us. I can't recommend this company enough, very satisfied with their level of moving services. Thank you, guys.

Abu Ringel

It is really hard to find efficient moving companies, even though there is about a zillion companies out there!!. Last month I hired Centennial to move my belongings. They were just fantastic. The movers were very hard working and efficient. They wasted no time in packing and loading my belongings. They were very precise with the packing. They made sure all my breakables were safely packed. They just made my life a whole lot easier. As I said there are many moving companies out there but this company is the right choice to hire for moving purposes.

Martin Ng

Company needs better management. Expect hidden charges added to your final bill. Needs a lot more transparency in their operating procedures.

Pat Coletta

These are extraordinary times and I'm just grateful we found someone who could move our goods from Ontario to Nova Scotia. I used them again 3 months later when a local mover balked at moving our antiques from PEI to Cape Breton. A few things were broken but that's mostly attributed by my packing skills. For the most part, everything arrived just fine and the local guy they hired was really good. The most astounding thing was they delivered our antiques using an 18 wheeler. The skill of that driver to back into a residential driveway was astounding - and he was a really nice guy. Say what you want, but in these times I'm glad I found friendly service from people who answer your emails and take your calls.

Anna Mc

Had a great experience with Centennial Moving. The people there were helpful and friendly and the move was completed in a professional way. My things arrived promptly and in perfect condition.

naomi monaster

Lost 2 boxes. Late, upcharged from initial fee.

Kelsey Fagan

Worst company ever. Marked my furniture down as damaged and when I contacted main company and informed them my furniture was in excellent condition the manger cancelled my move and had them take my stuff off the truck and refused to refund my deposit. Very rude and unprofessional company!!! Don’t use them!

Stuart Gilham

Hello Centennial Moving, Thanks for moving my stuff from Calgary to Scarborough. The rates were terrific, I expected that it would be much higher. But no the price was much cheaper. Also, the movers were very polite and they took good care of my stuff. I was very surprised that the delivery was provided much earlier than I thought, and that was very good. Thank you again for helping me to move, I would be glad to work with you in the future if needed.

Music Man

The worst experience ever.Do not use this company that's all I'm saying on this.Do your research!!

laura summer

Outstanding service and will recommend to friends.

Every single member of the crew was careful, quick, kind, efficient and professional. It was interesting, watching how these guys swiftly wrap and whisk our stuff into the truck, then out. Not a single item was damaged. They were early and ended up charging considerably less than the estimate. Excellent experience all around!!!

I moved from Ontario to Alberta using Centennial mostly for their price and good ratings. I had difficulty contacting them as for the initial portion of the move they would several days to a week to respond to emails and voicemails. The loading of my furniture onto their truck was fast professional and well done. However, they had threatened to cancel the move as they had not seen an email I had sent the day before and they threatened to cancel again for the exact same reason when unloading into my new residence. Delivering my furniture took over a month which made some things difficult and frustrating. Then when my furniture did finally arrive, all of the boxes had been ruined: all of them horribly squashed and smashed with many having puncture holes, especially the ones labelled fragile. Additionally they gave me two items that were not mine. Unpacking the boxes I found that a single item had fallen out due to the holes in the smashed boxes, although I was lucky it was only a single item it cost me $300 to replace. I suppose the only good thing about this company is I doubt they stole anything and the movers themselves were professional and friendly.

Robert Willis

I had an amazing experience moving from a condo on Vancouver island to another condo in downtown Toronto. I had two guys come in right scheduled time and helped to disassemble my queen bed. I had a lot of u-haul boxes and they were both efficient with moving all the boxes and my furniture and some appliances. We have a new condo building in Toronto and there were many other residential moves at the same time but this never stopped the movers to complete the job in just 3 elevator trips and everything was moved in and assembled and every piece of furniture was placed where we had asked them to. This was certainly the best experience I've had with movers and will definitely call them again if I decide to move back to BC.

Amy

Highly recommend to anyone doing a cross country move. Incredible customer service and communication to book the move. The movers were efficient but careful and very respectful and kind.

Centennial Moving moved my contents from Edmonton, AB to Kensington, PE. Quote was excellent and accurate. Movers were prompt upon pick up and arrival and moved quickly. Furniture was handled with extreme care and packed excellently. There was a bit of an issue scheduling times for pick up of contents (changes were made last minute by Centennial and at short notice) and they were not overly accommodating. Thankfully, we were able to work something out. Otherwise, no issues or concerns and I would recommend them!

Great service! Good communication, accurate delivery, pickup/drop off times. Excellent value if you are willing to wait 2-3 weeks for your items 5/5 for me

Travis Fowler

Centennial Moving is one of the few moving companies that I can definitely recommend to anyone. Fast, reliable and stressless. Will absolutely use their services in future if needed.

John Reyes

I have moved 3 times in the last 2 years for work and I have used Centennial Moving for all my moves and they've always been the best choice for me without even looking for other options. In fact, this last move I just completed with them was the best moving experience I've ever had. It was completely seamless with no stress. Their estimate was accurate, they packed and picked up the shipment on the exact days as promised. They even stored my goods for two months while I found a new home and then they delivered on the exact day that I requested. The moving teams were friendly and professional. I would absolutely recommend Centennial Moving to anyone doing a long distance move.

Sabrina LL

Hired them for a move for my Grandmother from Ontario to Vancouver Island Sept. - Oct. 2020. Although it took longer than expected, during these times I realize even new furniture and other goods and services are taking longer than usual. My Grandmother was at pick up and delivery and said the men were kind, courteous and efficient. The cost was better than competitors and everything arrived undamaged. I would definitely recommend for a long distance move

Neal White

I was extremely satisfied With my experience. I had my household contents picked up in Ontario and dropped off in Nova Scotia. The coordinators were professional and kept me up-to-date with times and dates. I would definitely use them again

Joann Nuxoll

We moved from Kitchener On. To Okotoks Alberta. Centennial was very professional wrapping our furniture. They were on time and done in no time at all. Our Centennial movers were ready to move us in at exactly 3 weeks later. Again the move into our new home was also very professionally done. After unpacking all our crystal and China, and all belongings I was soo pleased that nothing was broken or missing. Price was acceptable to us. Our regards to Centennial east and west movers.

Dan Margaret

Terrible. Absolutely crap. Dont believe their 5 star rating as they are all made up by their friends. I moved from BC to NS and they lost a huge bin in the process. By the way, they brought a bin from other house to our house.

Douglas Stavale

The service provided was very good. The Long-distance Senior Coordinator who was responsible for our change has always kept the communication open and clear. The operational team was also great and the agreed deadlines were met. I recommend.

This was a great experience. I moved 300 miles from Quebec to the Toronto. I was quoted a price and when I called before the move and removed a few boxes and items the price was adjusted down. They were easy to get in touch with also. Trey, who was in charge the day of the move, was great. They came on time and everything was packed so carefully. I was impressed. Even though they got great reviews I was nervous because of all the horror stories you hear about movers. I had nothing to fear. It was so easy. I requested Trey to deliver my belongings also. They let me know the day before the delivery and Trey called a couple of hours before to let me know his arrival time. I could not have imagined a better move. You cannot go wrong with these guys. Great!

Big thanks to Centennial Moving through the entire moving process. My goods arrived safe and I was the happiest person on earth to see that!! Good luck to Centennial Moving for the future as I will surely recommend them to all my friends and family!

Michelle Plach

The organization and effort in packing could certainly be improved. Items were simply thrown in a box piled on top of each other. Open bag and chips and bread was packed along with other food. We received our items 4 weeks after they were packed so these items were completely moldy. Wedding dress crumpled into the bottom of a box with everything else thrown on top. They packed our entire bar and all the wine bottles burst. Luckily they were frozen solid. They used the lawn mower grass bag and packed our Christmas decorations inside of the bag, so the Christmas deco's were covered in old grass cuttings. None of our TV's were put in boxes after we asked them to be. Everything including the TV's arrived completely frozen and covered in frost. It would have been great if the trailer/storage had some sort of temp control to prevent freezing of everything. If you are moving across the country there is no set date they will arrive. They simply tell you that they travel across twice a month but they don't tell you when they plan to leave and the dates are not set in a contract. At first they told us it would only be a couple weeks but then it ended up being closer to 4 weeks to move our house from GTA to Edmonton. Nothing was broker and the employees were very nice. They dispatch team are responsive to calls and emails.

Tricia Hernes

These guys were fantastic! Excellent communication right out of the gate with quoting and organizing. The team that came to pick up and wrap all our items were amazing, efficient, polite and considerate. The delivery across the country took less time than I thought it would, and everything was delivered in perfect condition. They also had to arrange a second stop for some of our items to go to another location, and it was done professionally and promptly. I highly recommend this moving company, especially if you are entrusting them with a cross country move. Thanks Max and the Centennial team!

Lin

wrap blanket on all of furniture and every moving stuff are good condition, excellent.

Kristen Arche

Very pleased with my long distance relocation. Gave me an excellent service of wrapping all my furniture. All my stuff was delivered within the quoted time-frame. Great value for money and I thank you for carrying out my challenging move in a fast, safe and friendly manner. I have already hired Centennial Moving last year, and I do recommend you to all my friends.

Kim Sova

We had a great experience with this company. Our items were picked up when expected and communication was great, very organized. Delivery time was within the expected timeframe and items were delivered into our house carefully free of damage.

Jason Guice

We had a long distance move from Winnipeg to Calgary. Centennial crew was on time, thoughtful, courteous and super professional. They helped us disassemble and reassemble some furniture (I did give them a notice ahead of time while booking) and it really helped the process. They were also really thoughtful about putting boxes in the right place when they arrived at my new apartment. Would absolutely recommend.

Jennifer McEwen

Super fast and nothing broke in our move from BC to Alberta

nina Baku

I'm delighted with the result of our long distance move to Montreal. From the estimate phase and pre move briefing to final final delivery. Every step was friendly and properly executed. I had complete confidence that all my stuff would be in safe hands and in perfect condition for the duration. I would recommend your services to friends and relatives.

Matthew Gohn

Fantastic people!! It was my first time using a moving company and I was very nervous to say the least. Centennial helped me every step of the way. Office staff and everyone on the team were great to deal with. Driver and movers showed up punctually. Movers were professional with all of our belongings. No damage to any items. Wouldn't hesitate to call them again!! Keep up the great work!!!

Stig Juell

Big Thanks to Centennial Moving team for accommodating my move. The service was very prompt, safe and economical. Movers were a joy to watch and customer service people were always friendly and very responsive. I recommend Centennial Moving to all people who will be moving!

Brian M

Worst service I’ve ever seen

Elana Marlen

Such a positive and nice experience (when moving is typically an awful thing). The moving service itself shined from the initial estimating call to the completion of the service. The crew came exactly when they said they would, and did their best. I want to thank Centennial Moving for helping me with my move, thanks a lot to the movers Andrew and Martin and to the office guy Warren. Everything I own arrived safe and sound, and the moving team on the delivery end made sure to hang out to help me verify that everything was safe and undamaged. I can recommend Centennial Moving without reservations.

Interstate move from British Columbia to Quebec Myself and my fiancee moved from Vancouver BC to Montreal QC in on February 27th. We contacted Centennial Moving in January to schedule our move and agreed to have our things picked up on Monday the 26th of February. On Friday the 23rd I received an email informing me that they were changing our pick up date to either Wednesday February 28th (which was two days after our originally agreed pick up date and clearly would not work for us), or Sunday February 25th. I sent an email stating that Sunday the 25th would work for me, despite that being a day earlier than we had originally agreed upon. I then received an email from Centennial stating that Sunday would not work and it would have to be Wednesday, since this was not working for us and I was clearly massively concerned at that point, I decided to call one of Centennial’s employees, Warren. The only option given by Warren was to have our things picked up on Saturday at 9am to which we had to agree as we had NO other option. This call was made at approximately 2pm on Friday the 23rd, so 19 hours before the new pick time they were imposing on us. Myself and my Fiancee both took a half day off work and went home to pack up our entire apartment. Cancelling all plans we had for that evening and packing late into the night. We weighed and marked every box and item we were shipping and we had a total of around 1300 lbs. We woke up Saturday in time to be ready for the Centennial drivers to come pick up our stuff at 9am. At 9:15, we received a voicemail saying it wasn't going to work that day due to the weather, and that our collection would be rescheduled for Monday the 26th. The original date we had agreed upon. At this point we had both taken a half day off work in order to pack and thus had missed out on a half days pay each as a result of Centennials mistake. Furthermore, as we had packed everything up on the Friday, ready to be picked up on the Saturday morning, we had no means of cooking or even eating food in our apartment so we had to eat out for breakfast, lunch and dinner on the Saturday and the Sunday. All this combined had left us with around $350 less in our pockets, as a result of Centennials mix up. Not to mention the stress and hassle we had gone through at having to pack everything up last minute. On Monday, the drivers came and took our stuff. We called Centennial and enquired about how they were planning on compensating us for their mistake. We were told the best they could offer was $50. We of course declined and informed them that they needed to come up with a better offer. We then received an email asking what we would consider “fair compensation” for their mistake. We informed them that due to us both taking a half day off work in order to pack had cost us $200 and that would be least amount they could offer. $200 barely covered the amount we had actually lost out on, so couldn’t even really be considered compensation, it was more of a reimbursement. They replied and offered $100, the “best” they could do according to them. At this point we had had enough of dealing with this company so were forced to accept. Later, we had to contact them to ask for our bill (after the scaling of our stuff) so we could see the total, this should have been sent to us as soon as they had it. We received an email stating that our total weight was 1860 lbs. No bill or breakdown or official document. Just an email saying that was our weight and how much money we owed. I asked for a copy of the official weigh ticket and i received back an email attachment of a photocopy of piece of paper with a Centennial watermark. Not exactly an official weigh station ticket. They completely made up the weight and the weigh ticket is made by them stating our things had been weighed by an official operation manager of Centennial. They refused to provide a real scale station ticket. A real scam. In the end we just paid our bill as we were sick of dealing with them. Avoid Centennial at all costs.

Your excellent customer service was much appreciated, we were more than happy with Gregory and Alex. They really took notice of our requirements and were pleasant. A very organised move was carried out in an efficient manner. From my experience Centennial Moving are a highly rated company.

M Kerr

They are cheaper than the competition and have their internal system dialled, but you do pay for it with conflicting information from staff who have varying levels of knowledge, and last-minute urgent communications that could easily be avoided.

Benjamin Keller

I've moved twice with this company now over long distances in Canada. The customer service team is very fast with their responses. The movers are professional, fast and careful. I've never had anything damaged or broken in either move. I'd use them again in a heartbeat and I fully recommend them.

Tony Cain

Moves are very stressful, especially when you move from a city where not that many companies travel to. I moved from Grande Prairie, AB to Toronto, ON and made lots of research and there very few companies were able to make the move and Centennial was one of them and had the best price among those others. The move was so easy that I didn't even notice it how it passed. Movers were very polite, customer service was great and very accurate with the details and their estimates. Delivery was done in about 6 days from the pickup. Very happy with the service and recommended Centennial Moving already to everyone I know! Thanks guys!

Roland Loon

Centennial is a great Company, has Great workers, very professional and very experienced agents, very informative and being able to update me the status of my move. Workers were very strong and smart, they had a great strategy and technque in loading and packing which made me so happy when I saw my king size bed and large wardrobe getting onto the truck in an amazing (safe) way. Their prices are fairly good and reflect the services they provide, will surely let the people know about this great experience. Again Great Company, Roland.

Zaid karkhi

Excellent service, door to door professional team

Martin St-Pierre

Do not recommend. If use weigh your stuff because they will over charge.

Jeremy Pick

I’m very grateful to everybody at Centennial Moving for their care, honesty, and top notch quality work during my family’s relocation. The movers were punctual on either end, and they didn’t damage my things, save for the one glass that broke as they helped me put my new house in order. Thanks once again.

Kris Klimoni

My moving experience with Centennial Moving was very good. Customer service was always very responsive and the movers were very professional and polite. I would recommend them to all people who are looking to have a smooth move!

Denis Tierbey

If you have nerves about moving with companies after hearing all the online and typical horror stories, use these guys. This is my second time using them and they are quick, honest and reliable. Especially good regarding their scheduling – stick to the agreed time for both pickup and delivery. The movers completed both the loading and unloading at decent rate of speed. They are a good solid choice of mover with competitive prices. Thank you for making that part of my life easier and I will repay you by recommending to all I know!

Kyle Richardson

First Class, essentially flawless long distance move. I moved from Toronto to Regina this year, but I needed to store my furniture for an indeterminate amount of time during the transition. I reviewed about 8 other cross country moving services – both enterprise-sized and small companies. Centennial Moving, and specifically Max(my moving coordinator) were the most courteous, hardest working, most concerned and honest moving company that I’ve worked with over the years. I’ve moved 5 times in the last 7 years.

Steve Dimon

I would like to really thank Centennial for the amazing job they have done, professional movers, informative employees, clean trucks, all the process went very well, pick up and delivery was on time and this was my major concern but they managed to get my furniture on time, got really amazing experience and definitely will come back to Centennial for any of my moves or even in my network.

Barbara Reimer

I was pleasant surprised by this moving experience. It was efficient, timely, and affordable. I was half expecting additional charges at the end of my move, particularly after receiving more costly quotes from other companies. Thank you Centennial for your curtousy and care throughout my cross-country move. Barb R

We were very stressed about being able to fit all our stuff + a motorbike for a cross country move. Tomas really came through for us, without him it would have been a disaster. He went above & beyond for us, working late to get the items organized safely in the truck. This company is lucky to have him, he is able to direct staff with superb leadership. Consider moving him into management or something higher up, he definitely has the right skills.

Kate Rabinovich

Other than the fact that they don't give you a specific date of pick up and delivery the service was ok. The movers packed everything effectively and delivered it with no problem (despite the fact that there was no flexibility with arrival date). Also, they let you know on the day before if there will be additional charge of $350 because the truck can't access the location, eventhough they have your address well in advance. I would recommend they include this information in the initial price estimate. I don't see a reason to determine this on the day before the move when the customer don't have much choice. Also, they gave me half an hour notice before drop off in my storage unite, which was pretty tight.

Thomas Pang

Thank you so much for all the help and guidance with my move. John was very prompt to answer all my questions and even instructions on how to pack some of my items. The crew arrived on time, the driver was very courteous and again they were very informative thru the whole processes. I'm happy to give them five stars from pick up to delivery, I arrived in Montreal two weeks after they loaded my items. Moving out of province it was not easy and choose a moving company took me a long time specially with dozens of moving companies calling me. I'm glad I picked this guys. Congratulations for the well performed service and thanks again for helping me out!

Daniel Nort

Centennial moved me from Calgary to Toronto and that was an awesome experience. When I first called them, the customer service rep was extremely responsive and super helpful in arranging for the move. The price I got was extremely reasonable. When movers came at the date of pick up they were excellent at communicating with us and completed our move super-fast and safe. They even were able to ssemble/disassemble my queen bed and so quick. It was my first experience with movers and I would definitely use them again if I move in future. They are trustworthy and have great customer service.

Roxanne Smith-Thompson

Great price and service. They did an excellent job wrapping my furniture, breaking down the ones that were too big and putting them back up quickly. They were always in touch, sending reminders and following up and were on time with their service. They made this move so less stressful for me. I recommend them any day and will use them again if needed.

Peep This

Moved a studio apartment (no couch) from Calgary AB to New Westminster BC. Things to consider : -No specific delivery date can be provided at pickup. They'll let you know 24-72hrs before... - If there's a delay they won't notify you. You have to contact them -No storage available on the West Coast. -Took 3 weeks and costed $1300 (cant imagine what it would've cost to have them pack my stuff) -Proof of weight is not an original scaling ticket, but a typed number with the company letterhead. 1 star for moving my stuff and minimal damage 1 star for the mover guys who were fast and efficient on both ends. I wouldnt use them again or recommend to others

BVN

Pick up crew was stellar. They were true gentlemen working in an area with lots of people and traffic and a slow elevator. Amazing job by my coordinator Mickey as well. Explained everything well and communicated with me at all times. It was always available to me when I had any questions and reassured me at every phase. My delivery was made in a timely fashion and everything was placed and assembled as ordered. All in all, it went like a first-class machine!!!

Arash Kiayee

Great experience! Highly recommended. Arrangements ran smoothly. On time pick up and delivery. From Toronto to Winnipeg.

Leon Jader

Thanks once for the smooth move you've organized for us. I appreciate your effort in providing excellent customer service. We really loved the moving team we had for our move last Friday! They were professional and efficient! They did a great job of getting everything organized for us and it made moving much easier to have such a hard working team do the literal heavy lifting. Sem's Moving, thank you again!

T J

If you are reading my review, then you really need not look further. The staff; Xavier, Eric, the dispatch team, moving personnel are all wonderful and knowledgeable. Whom ever you get when you call will know everything about your move. Their response via email and phone is like no other I have experienced. Why can't all service be this way? My items were moved from Ontario to BC and were stored in Toronto before my expected arrival date. I had to change my destination mid way and some details around the move and they all made me feel comfortable with all my changes; assuring me that everything would be ok. It was!!! They did everything they said they would do. They kept in touch every step of the way. They came to my home and itemized every item and provided me with a copy. They were amazing! . I was so nervous about this big move and Eric and Xavier at no time made me feel anything but comfort. A huge thank you to all of you!!

Stehanie Crewler

Centennial Moving guys moved us from Vancouver to Calgary. George and Sam were very helpful and hard-working movers. The delivery of our belongings was little delayed but the office always made sure all the things are fine and kept us updated with the news. When our stuff arrived to Calgary, we were happy to denote that all the things arrived safe and sound. In the end, we are satisfied with the service we got from them.

This afternoon Centennial Moving Company delivered items to my home. Upon arrival, they were asked to wear a mask, as it is currently the law in New Brunswick to do so. We had a box of masks available to them. They refused to wear a mask, and proceeded to enter my home, after driving items from Alberta, to New Brunswick. I contacted the manager of Centennial Moving Company - Moncton Location, about how upset I was with the fact that their movers did not listen to our request, and put us and our family at risk by entering my home without a mask on, while in Orange-Phase. This manager told me it is TOO DIFFICULT (I’m still laughing about this) to walk up and down stairs while wearing a mask. He agreed with his movers, and stated that they shouldn’t wear one. After stating multiple times that it is, in fact, the LAW to wear a mask in any public place, or entering someone else’s home, he told me he doesn’t care, and that I am wrong. After repeating multiple times that this is not ok, he told me he doesn’t care, and that he doesn’t want me to contact him, or the office ever again about today’s issue. I am absolutely disgusted with the way he chose to deal with customer service complaints. Not sure how this man, or his employees think they can pick and choose which laws they follow. However, he was very adamant that the law to wear masks in public and other people’s homes does not pertain to his delivery drivers.

Good job! Moved Niagara Falls to Saint John And we are very happy with their professionalism

Brianna Hill

First off, there are copious numbers of long distance moving companies to choose from; therefore, it was personally challenging for me to decide on who I wanted to essentially trust "my home" to. After some research and recommendations from friends, I had the pleasure to be connected with Centennial. The team truly eased my moving out of process. They were more than reliable, efficient, and kind!

Krista Simmons

I moved several times and have not had a good experience until moving with Centennial. I moved my furniture and SUV from Regina to Vancouver. All my furniture was wrapped in heavy blankets. When it was delivered it was put exactly where I asked the mover to place it. They took extra care with my car loading it in the same truck. My move was stress free all went good from the pickup of my items till the delivery of ALL my items and the car at the same time. I was well informed step by step of all the process. Everyone made me feel very safe and very well taken care of. Thanks guys!

David Jeji

I would like to give a note and thank Centennial for giving us the best experience for moving our 2 bedroom house from Winnipeg to Toronto ON. Movers were extremely polite, professional and very efficient. They have disassembled my bedroom set, wrapped it tightly, and loaded on the truck. Delivery was very smooth, they placed all my furniture were they suppose to be and reassembled my bedroom set. Prior the booking and mover arrival, Centennial's agents were very knowledgeable and had my complete move arranged very smoothly. Keep up the great work and professionalism Centennial! Thank you

SPH Equip

I had a mixed experience with Centennial Moving. They moved the contents on my one-bedroom apartment across the country. Everything arrived safe and sounds and delivery was on-time. They always responded quickly to emails and answer all of my questions. It was a bit of pulling-teeth to get an accurate quote for the move as I had to keep asking if there would be other added fees (there were). It would have been a lot easier and more reassuring if they could have provided a list of all "extra" fees up front (e.g. storage, unloading/reloading, shuttle, extra stairs, etc). The movers were 4-5 hours late arriving to pack up my apartment. They did not call to tell me they would be late. They didn't answer their phone. I honestly thought that they had just taken my deposit and ghosted. When the movers did eventually show up, they were brusk, didn't introduce themselves, and were quite intimidating. They did collect my belongings carefully and well wrapped the furniture and belongings. There was a lot of huffing/grumbling; I felt I had to keep apologizing, even though I hadn't done anything wrong (everything was packed and ready to go). On delivery, they were on-time and were careful with unloading. They were again quite intimidating; but nicer than the pick-up crew. The total came to about 1,000 more than had been estimated based on weight; but I sort of expected this with the various additional fees. Overall, they took good care of my belongings, it was just more stressful than it needed to be.

Lindsay Corhe

Reviews are not usually top of my list of things to do, but I just had to reach out to recommend Bestmoves.ca A website where you enter the details of your relocation and they come up with a list of companies to suit your needs. The movers I chose had very competitive rates and great service.

Mandy Mae

Awesome movers and would 100 percent use again! Great experience from booking and throughout the entire moving experience. Accurate estimate with no surprises and the move was on time and everything arrived in perfect condition. Friendly customer service who answered all my questions and very friendly efficent movers on both ends of the long distance move. You won't regret booking with this company!

Shannon Kennelly

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! THEY WILL RUIN YOUR MOVE AND MAY NOT EVEN SHOW UP! Extremely disappointed in this company and the horrible experience they put us through. Picked this company to move all our house items from BC to Ontario. We booked 5 months in advance. We were told we would be notified 24-48 hours BEFORE our moving window opened, and they did not contact us. I called them the day AFTER our moving window opened and was told that they FORGOT to call us and tell us THEY ARE NOT COMING!! Reason was their truck broke down and they have NO BACK UP OPTIONS. They told us to contact our landlords and ask if we could stay at the rental for an extra 5 days after August 1st (the day the new tenants move in). When we asked why we were not notified they let us know that they FORGOT and offered us the deposit back. Spoke to the head of the company and told him we would be homeless in less than 48 hours time because they forgot to call us and have given us no notice to find a new company. He said he has no assistance to offer and basically told us "that's the way this business works", and was unprofessional. We ended up having to rent a uHAUL, paying premiums for short notice and drive it ourselves across Canada. We were told they would take care of everything and they completely messed everything up. We ended up having to pay twice as much to move because of this companies mis-management and TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

You guys done a awesome job with the move! It was a long move from Newfoundland to B.C.... the movers done a great job moving everything and also so patient due to a fire alarm going off in our apartment building the day of delivery! If we ever have to move again we will certainly use your service! Thanks again!

Lawrence Fulton

The moving team at Centennial Moving is the most professional I have ever worked with. I got the full packing services and I watched my entire house get packed up around me, organized and moved to a new location. I never realized just how difficult the process of packing up a home could be until I didn’t have to do it. The crew came with lots of great packing supplies and made short work of all of my belongings before moving them across the country. I would call these guys if I have to move again.

Thomas Evans

More than impressed with Centennial Services!!!!! From initial Contact with Max to Phillip and his crew - we were treated royally . We were met with nothing but professional and courteous staff. Without hesitation we would highly recommend your company to others in need of such services. Made one of the worstest experiences in life bearable; no one loves the idea of having to move. We have already passed on your number to a friend!

Liudmila Semenets

We are privileged to share our recent experience with Centennial in the relocation of our family from Vancouver to Quebec city. they were able to schedule a pick up for within 10 days. The dispatcher gave us a call to let me know when our possessions would be arriving. They were very efficient and communicated well during the process. They unloaded well and complete all the various set up tasks. the whole process went off much easier than I had expected. i would have no problem at all with using your company again or recommending to others.

Tyler Johnson

They were several hours late and missed the service elevator that was booked (6 hours window). After having to call 10+ times to the line and waiting to the late evening, they still couldn't figure out where the driver was. They DO NOT provide you a true weight of your belongings, they make up a random file and send it to you only after you request it. This was NOT what I was told in the emails and on the phone. They were abit late delivering my stuff but that wasn't a concern for me. Both the pickup crew and delivery crew were very nice throughout it though. They ended up losing a package of mine and couldn't find it anywhere (6+ months after even. Once contacting the company, they sent me this message. "We would definitely inform you if the box was located and truly apologize for that again. To consider the current claim as closed, I would kindly ask you to acknowledge that this letter will serve as a confirmation and our mutual agreement of the solution taken and opt from posting online reviews related to Centennial Moving that will negatively affect the company's reputation, pursuing further with legal complaints or claims. On the other hand, Centennial Moving will waive $300 claim deductible and reimburse you with $30. " So thanks for losing my valuables and rounding up to 30$. Don't use them. EDIT: As I can't reply to their comment. They are blatantly lying about all of this information and have written proof of all of it. The company is a scam.

UPDATE It has been over a week since my initial response. I do appreciate the response from the company, however I am still not hearing back or getting a response to my emails.... as the customer service mentioned, claims would get back to me ASAP, but it has been now over 10 days and still nothing or no solution. Avoid if possible! I had a move set up from Vancouver to Calgary. On the moving date, the movers arrived 8 hours late. I had called and requested updates throughout the day and all I was told is "they are on their way". 8 hours later they showed up and rushed through my packing and moving. The movers were friendly but not very professional. I was told it would take 4-7 days for the items to get to Calgary. It took 10 days for everything to arrive and when it did they unpacked and items were missing, things were damaged and the movers moving me in were different and were asking me how to put things together. They told me they could not do anything and left (I had to pay before they unloaded). I contacted the head office and filed a claim, this was on July 9th. It is now September 3 and I still have not received any sort of compensation for the mess. I keep emailing the claims department and they either do not email me or say they are still working on it. This is almost 2 months later. They told me the investigation would take a max of 21 days per their claims terms. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited patiently but still nothing, which is why I am now writing this review to warn off any future movers. I am not sure how this company works in the rest of Canada but for any BC or Alberta residents looking for a company, look somewhere else.

I was complicated to find a mover considering the fact that I received around 15 estimated from different companies. Most of them had good reviews however my choice fell on Centennial Moving. I decided to use them just because the sales agent was on top of all my questions. I was very happy that I made this choice because the movers that helped me were amazing. Nice guys that worked very hard and took care of my things. I can definitely recommend Centennial to other people that are looking to move!

I'm so happy that I have hired centennial .again great job guys

I moved 4 times between Toronto, Saskatoon and Vancouver with this company and have always been satisfied with their moving services. I never used them for car moving though!

Having moved across the country a few times now, it's always hit and miss hiring a moving company as you can see reading reviews for just about any mover out there. Throw a pandemic into the mix and you have a bit more of a stressful situation, not only for you, but for these guys as well. We used Centennial twice over the past year as we moved from the Prairies to the Maritimes. We had a lot of stuff to move, and with the circumstance we were in, needed Centennial to pack and ship the remainder of our items a few months after our initial move. These guys all did a wonderful job packing our things (lots of breakables) and everything arrived to our destination safe and sound both times. Everyone from the back office to the guys doing the heavy lifting were very friendly and professional; I definitely have a lot of respect for what these guys do every day. I had a good experience with Centennial and would use their services again if I ever needed to. Thanks again guys!

First The rescale took place after a long and brutal battle with the help of the Better Buisness Bureau and the Ontario York Police department 2 months after pick up when contracted stated maximum of 21 days and having threats of my shipment being disposed of if i wouldnt pay them in full prior to seeing my items or the rescale. Let’s start off with the claim and why this entire brutal struggle for my shipment occurred. After having my shipment picked up by Centennial Moving they quoted that my shipment was “The final weight of your load is 1885 lbs.” Pick up was October 23rd with a guarantee of the items arriving “It takes approximately 8-14 business days in transit from the scheduled departure date. For moves from West coast to East Coast or East coast to West Coast, it may take up to 21 business days.” This implies earliest arrival November 02 and absolute latest arrival November 20. Arrival of items finally occurred December 22nd at the rescale facility. After rescaling was complete the total weight of my shipment (including their moving blankets they chose to add to the already very well packed material, I’m not sure why I have to pay for this weight) the final weight was 1480. 1885-1480= 405lbs difference. This is an incredible 28% over charge on something charged by the lbs. Even with the absolute ludacris condition of a +/- 10% margin of error on weight that they 100% guaranteed…… they were shown to be incorrect and well I don’t need to call a spade a spade here. Refer to Better Business Bureau for full account and other complaints for an accurate view of this company. Do not use them!!!!! note the complaints from people who weighed prior to handing over items.

TERRIBLE. We have moved six times in the last 10 years between different provinces and internationally. This was our worst experience. DO NOT USE THEM

Out of all the moves we have done this company were the most professional movers. We liked the way they covered every piece of furniture before taking it out to the truck. That means a lot because they are being very careful to eliminate any damage to the furniture. We will use them again in the future for our next move. Another plus was that they are very friendly which is great. Thank you for your hard work.

Easy to deal with and took exceptional care of my belongings that moved from Ontario to Saskatchewan! Thank you

My experience with Centennial Moving was excellent - for the price it cannot be beat. They moved my studio apartment from Vancouver to Toronto, and offered the best price by far of all other companies that I called. My coordinators Xavier and Alex were extremely responsive and helpful. The movers in both Vancouver and Toronto were very professional, respectful, and efficient - it only took about 1-2 hours on each end. Although there was a bit of a confusion with the delivery date, once I contacted Xavier and explained the need to have my stuff delivered on the specified date, they made every accommodation possible and came through on the delivery date. Overall I highly recommend this company and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for a future move!

Outstanding service, good value and careful on moving day. It was a move for my mom who had quite a lot of delicate ornaments. They really showed a positive attitude to go that extra mile with their service.

Carly Hamdon

Communicated a fairly clear time line and arrived within it. Took time to carefully wrap all my furniture and tag each piece (even individual couch cushions) so nothing would be lost. Costumer support team was fairly responsive and helpful. Excellent value for money. Would use them again.

I'm very glad that I have chosen your company. I had a hard time trying to make an educated decision. The reviews of Centennial were great, that's why I've given you a chance, and I do not regret that I'd chosen you. I moved from London, ON to Richmond, BC and it took them only 8 days to ship my items. Fast, efficient and reliable. Definitely will use your services again.

Hi Centennial Moving, I want to thank you moving my belongings from Red Deer AB to Toronto. The goods came to Toronto without any damages, every thing was wrapped in front of me properly and secured in to the truck. I was fascinated on how the mover was working, really fast and good service from the mover. The costumer support was polite and kind. the goods arrived sooner than I expected, and that was really good, because I needed them to be in Toronto as soon as possible, they took full responsibility for moving my items an time and they did it. Thank you very much again Centennial Moving.

This is the second time I book Centennial Moving. Professional and efficient service providers. This time the move was not easy at all. But the agents and movers did their best. Almost two years ago I had different moving crews, but I should say they were both efficient and professional, very quick. This time I moved from 2 br house in QC to 3 br house in Toronto. They gave me a good rates since it was my second time using the same company. Thank you my friends! I will recommend you again and again.

Great Job! I've received lots of quotes all over the companies in Canada. I have chosen Centennial based on their reviews that show the good quality and also their agents who were fantastic, with answering all my questions to follow ups, being with me from the pick up until the delivery. So happy with Centennial, Great job, the process was just great! The rates were very affordable! Very glad that my furniture came all in one piece with perfect condition, I will absolutely recommend you guys!

No stress at all because the movers and the customer service staff had it all covered and had answers to all my thousand of questions. The move went better than I though it would as last time I moved wasn't that good. Thanks Centennial Moving and I'll use you again guys although hope this would be my last time lol.

I had a seamless experience shipping my condo (2 bedroom) with Centennial from Barrie, ON to Surrey, BC. The movers were extremely professional, telling me exactly what I needed to know to make everything as easy as possible. The sales guys were incredibly nice and responsive when it came to obtaining quotes, inventory, scheduling, etc. Their prices are fair and definitely worth the excellent service you get, and you're aware of all potential extra fees and budget accordingly. The whole experience was stress-free.

Maybe its because my moving was local (I moved form Etobicoke to Toronto) but my experience with Centennial Moving was exceptional. I didn’t really had time to be stressed or worried, I called them, they took care of everything, and here I am, in a brand new home, nice and cozy. Maybe I should move again, in order to make my final opinion why everything went so smooth). Thank you guys, you’re the best.

Moving from SK to ON, guy I was dealing with was Eric. From the beginning until the end of the transaction, there was not a single thing Eric wouldnt have taken care of. Prompt replies with detailed answers to make sure I understand everything. Perfect pricing, services and efficient fast service. Would highly recommend. Thanks Eric for such a wonderful and worry free experience.

After reading so many horror stories about moving companies I got on Centennial's website and found out that out of million of companies I've made my research on before booking, Centennial had the best reviews from all of those. I moved from Fredericton,NB to Toronto,ON and this was my best experience ever and have no regrets of choosing Centennial for my move. Guys were awesome! Especially the movers and the cute driver:) Everything was smoothly packed and loaded and delivered in couple of days in the same condition as I gave my stuff out to them. Thanks Centennial! Say hi to Serge the driver from me!
