I would give no stars if it was an option. My husband called 3 times to try to get a quote from them and at the last second they called him to cancel on him. VERY UNRELIABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

The three guys that showed up, John, George and Collin were all clean, polite, fast and accommodating. One of the best moves ever! Thanks for helping us out, it was a complicated move!

The movers, a friendly and professional team of 3, was on time and took extra are of my belongings. The movers carefully wrapped and transported items and furniture unharmed. They assisted in the placement of items throughout the house. I will definitely recommend as well as use Hinton the Mover's services again in the future. Well worth the price.

I contacted them to get a quote and was told 110$ an hour and they would email me the quote. The quote included 150$ for gas (its a 1.3km move in total as well as from the place of business to my residence is less then 10km) and 160$ an hour quoting 1600$. Every other quote I received was between 600 and 800$ less given the volume, and distance. Contact hinton if you would like to pay double what anybody else local is charging.

We have used Hinton The Mover on more then one occasion have have never been disappointed. Our last move at the end of March was no different. The team was right on time and fast. They were knowledgeable and friendly and had our well being and protection of our furniture as their primary concern. I cannot praise them highly enough. And the office staff and manager were just as helpful. We would consider no other moving company in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality experience in moving at a fair price.

Staff all very nice and efficient BUT they don't seem to be aware of higher-end clothing items. They did a great job with dishes and art but very expensive boots and coats were just thrown in the bottom of large boxes and crushed and scratched under weight of 2 feet of running shoes etc. Be VERY clear with these guys what is of value!!

Wow!! $6858,00 to move 1 partial living room of items 2 hours away??? WOW!! We Called Allied Van Movers, and they put us in touch with these overly expensive movers. We just got an absolutely outrageous $6858.00 quote to move my 90 yr old mothers living room items, wall units, 12 boxes of figurines and books plus a dining room table and chairs..These mover's quoted us outrageously - $6858.00.. for 1 room of furnishings.NO appliances! The items are not even worth that much and they are expecting an 90 yr old senior pensioner to pay close to $7000 to move these items 2 hours away ??!!?? The quote claims the pictures I sent to them were estimated at 6000 lbs of weight.. Surely that's not correct . At these prices we might as well sell items and purchase all brand new.. and we would still save money, instead of paying close to seven thousand dollars to move 2 hours away. RIP OFF !! We wont be using Hinton the Mover or Allied Van Movers at these prices.. OUTRAGEOUS ... Considering we've already packed and boxed up everything when we put items in a 10 x 15 storage locker until Covid ended...so they just had to transport items and drop them off 2 hours away from pick up location.,

I had high hopes for this company, however the day of my move, one of the movers was extremely slow (moving one item at a time in the truck) and I witnessed he had to be re-directed many times to get moving ( they charge per hour). Also, I noticed the time started from when they left the facility to my home was 45 min and originally was quoted it would only take approx. 15 min to get there (again, everything is timed). I was also told that the $2000 I paid covered everything, but then 2 weeks later I find a charge of $406.80 and apparently that's the storage cost for 1 month! When I brought this to their attention, I was told it was explained...it was not. If I had known this earlier, I def would have went with another company. Almost $3000 to move....def not worth the price. Will update once I get my items delivered to my new home. *NOTE* Just wanted to update that once I got my items delivered, I was charged another $1400 and I did reach out as I got a response to my original review, however no one got back to me. Please for your own sanity, go with another company! Not one that provides you a quote and then almost doubles it when everything is said and done.

Team showed up on time and got right at it. They worked well together and, despite February cold/wind, etc worked carefully through the day and to the greatest extent handled everything, including the walls (!) very well. As I has a relocation services background I was able to help out with coordination/packing and support for them. Overall I'd use them again.

This moving company was phenomenal. They sent us three very hard working crew guys. Their names were George, Kevin and Ron. They moved a two bedroom apartment in exactly three hours. After adding the driving time, we were charged for three and a half hours. Not bad! I would recommend Hinton the Mover to anyone. These guys wasted no time during the move. They didn't stand around talking. Nor did they waste any time by working slowly. They were also very friendly and sociable. I would request this crew do make your next move. They work well together. They were also a very friendly and sociable crew.

Administration and scheduling was very good. Damage claim handled in an expeditious manner. There was one mover who wasn't the lead who did a fantastic job leading the group, unfortunately i don't recall his name. BIG RED FLAG was end of move billing process, they overcharged on time and didn't want to do the right thing. Hope this helps.

Beware of this company, I got quoted for a certain price and paid more than double once complete. When asked why so much, they replied by saying that every customer says the same thing at the end of the job . I will not mention the price I paid but let's put it this way; I could have rented a truck hired 6 guys at $15 an hour at half the cost I paid this company. (4ppl) They take advantage of the fact that your tired of the moving process and come up with reasons why your paying so much more (double). Don't pay the day of moving wait till your rested and able to look into the extra charges We were told a certain price by the hour and then end of day they start mentioning amount of boxes or wieght of a certain item. Get it in writing if you have to use this company or any other moving company.

Amazing! Fast, efficient and very professional. We scheduled our move for January 4th, the movers showed up right on time at 830am, like they said they would and wasted no time getting down to business. We had 2 armours, 2 large dressers, 2 couches, a HEAVY rocking chair, an upright piano and large full wall sized painting moved. The movers removed all drawers, wrapped and protected EVERYTHING! Very respectful of our home and items being moved. The movers rolled out rubber tread mats, used dollies, ramps, straps and pads. Their truck had 2 side doors, one on each side and the back. Making it easy to load and unload, depending on wait side of the street you live on. All of our items were delivered with great care and nothing was damaged in arrival. I would and will be using this company again when we move again in the future. Thank you Hinton the Mover!! You guys rock!

This is a very professional moving company. The Consultant arrived on time. He was dressed like a businessman. He was courteous and very respectful.He was thorough and made some good suggestions since I was doing my own packing. I felt assured and at ease in making my decision to go with HINTON. Everything has been done in a timely manner. They were able to accommodate my move out of town for the end of August in an extremely short time frame. Thank you HINTON. I am a long time senior and must say the stress level of moving subsided when I signed up with HINTON.

This moving company was phenomenal! My fiancé and I moved last weekend and had Ron, Adam and Tyler sent from the company as our movers and they were great! They were all very friendly, efficient with packing up the truck as well as disassembling and reassembling our furniture, and went above and beyond to bring in our new fridge when the delivery guys were ever so quick to judge that they didn’t think they had enough clearance! Thanks to our movers we have our new and functioning fridge inside our house instead of waiting for a new/smaller one to be delivered to us! If ever we do move again in the future, the Hinton Movers are the way to go! Worth every dollar! Thanks again guys!

I would never use this company again, and will certainly not get any referrals. Very unprofessional, and most of my furniture was damaged. The movers had no respect for our property. 8 months to try and get them to pay to have my furniture repaired. They paid for some of it. Would have been nice if they just did the right thing, but that never happened. No referrals from me!

Best move ever!!!! I used hinton end of September 2017. I forget the name of the young men that did my move but they were FANTASTIC!!! Very polite and harworking. The same men did the same move for my daughter from windsor to amherstburg and of course she had the same exceptional service. Thx guys!!!! A big thx to Mark as well. He was very nice and spot on with his quotes. He even took time on my moving day to stop by to make sure I was happy with service! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
