ian at Canada Moving was a pleasure to deal with and the quote provided was very reasonable. The movers, Frank and Walter were fantastic. They treated my furniture with care, ensuring everything was protected during the move. On arrival they used carpet runners to protect the flooring and were quite consciences to ensure that no damage was done to any walls or floors even as they moved the heaviest of pieces. I can't say enough good things about them. I am looking to move in the next year or so, and will definitely be using them again.

I was moving from Toronto to Ottawa. I originally called Westmount Moving in Montreal who referred me to this incompetent company. I produced a list of all items, boxes and furnitures plus the logistics challenges such as stairs vs elevators etc... to the sale team. The salesperson told me that I should know the ETA in Ottawa on the day of the move. The movers showed up in Toronto at the apartment door knocking on the day scheduled. I did not get a phone call saying they are coming. They were not informed that I was on second floor and that there are no elevators. The movers did a good job considering the challenges. I even showed them the numerous emails I sent and thry agreed I did everything right. They were patient and courteous. They were the only competent people of all the company or companies. That day I called the salesperson sharing my concern about lack of communication and he told me he has no idea what is happening. I emailed Friday night repeating my request for an ETA so that I can book the elevator in Ottawa. He replied I dont know but when I do I let you know. No news from the movers until Wednesday. They called me at 4:50pm saying they have scheduled a delivery at 1:00pm. I obviously flipped out. They said it is within the window and if they cant deliver I will be responsible for storage. I have rejected. They have no sense of customer care. All they want is money and holding people hostage. I have requested by email on three occasions that I need advance notice. They said that is how things are done etc... Basically, they are company that steels your money without information. They have customer care but no customer service. Customer care is talking down to irrate customers without service. The moving company in Ottawa were arrogant as per the building manager. He told me that I did everything right.The movers were arrogant and said we are only here to move but any issues take to front office. The head driver has no sympathy but wanted to finish off as if I am a number. I felt like wanting to kick him out. I asked movers to open the wardrobe box because the movers in Toronto put all loose pieces in them. He told me that they are not supposed to. All this company or group of companies have no idea what is going on. Somebody is calling the shots but no one is accountable. There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe their behaviour. They dont reflect well what Canada has to offer. They should get their license revoked. Anything campbell or any related companied dont communicate with each other. They have created so many companies in order mislead the public. I am sure a lot of people want to give more than a thumb down to this company along with other relevant hand gestures. Not worth a one star.

Friendly staff! They really simplified the craziness that is moving. Went from an apartment to a townhouse (only about 2 km from eachother) and it was definitely the quickest move I've been a part of. ...Would give them 5 stars, but it seems weird to be that excited about cardboard boxes and packing tape! Definitely recommend them though.

Service was awful. Given an estimate without in-house assessment, and driver assured me that I was well below weight, only to find out that I was apparently well above. Changed my move date as a favour and still received shoddy treatment. On arrival, belongings were damaged and full of bugs. Individual movers and drivers involved were wonderful, but that scarcely makes up for the worst customer service I have encountered in a long time, combined with overpaying for the delivery of damaged goods.

The most professional and caring movers ever! Arrived at our home on time to the minute even though we are at a remote location. They completely packed all our belongs into proper boxes and containers and loaded all on the truck - a 3 bedroom house with lots of stuff (after 15 years at this address) was packed and ready to go in 5 hours! We could not have done this without this great team - thank you so much to Claude, Uamar and Marnie! You are the BEST and we highly recommend this company to anyone making a move - long distance or local!

The whole experience right from first engagement with Campbell right through to the physical move and unpack was excellent. Moving is such a stressful experience and the movers were very pleasant, explained the process clearly and were patient and positive all the way, even at -25 degree windchill! This is our second experience with this company and we highly recommend.

They practically doubled their “quote”, didn’t give me the 3% discount promised for booking online, showed up an hour early and then it was a fight to get my money back for that hour that they sat on their hands doing nothing. Damaged some of my property. And it was a hassle getting ahold of the right person to discuss the hour early charges. The person who made the “mistake” never called me back despite leaving a voicemail requesting that they do so. They said they would call me back to discuss the charges before charging my credit card, they did not. Just took some off for the hour early and charged without discussion. Super unprofessional. I’ve heard good things about el cheapo... I’ll probably go there next time. Sure as hell won’t book with them again.

This was a business move. The moving crew were very professional. Very friendly. It was a 2 day move and the prep from the supervisor before the move was very helpful. They provided labels, bins and advised staff on how to pack and prepare for the moving date. I would use Campbell Moving for all our future moves. Definitely a great moving company ! My wife and I have moved 19 times including overseas assignments so we have seen it all. Most recently Campbell Bros moved us to Australia and back - AND stored precious goods for us while we were overseas for 3.5 years. I would highly recommend them - and if you can, ask for the team of Uhmar Stewart, Claude and Mike Northover and Tryston Mansfield to move you in ...professional and great at what they do !

If I could I would give this company negative stars. Never in my life have I experienced such horrendous service. While I could write multiple paragraphs about all the disappointments and things that went wrong while using this company I will simply leave it at this: they damaged more than they left in tact. Couch severely stained, wine rack severely chipped, coffee table arrived disassembled and was missing pieces to then be able to put back together, dinning room table iron fixture missing, metal bed frame scratched and dented, legs missing from sofas and the list goes on. They also left major stains on our carpet. After filling out the damage claim we were offered $30 dollars compensation. We ended up spending more replacing/fixing items then we spent on the movers, which for point of reference was $2059. If you’re going to use this company you may as well call the police to report a robbery.

Not only did they show up on time (they were actually early), they were very patient as we ran behind yet were still incredibly kind and professional. Requested a quote for an international move and came back with a huge amount. I mentioned you where above market for what i got and the person just said well the price i guessed as is still a year away from travel. I am aware prices can change but a move to the other side of the planet takes time to organize and having quotes and estimate real price nt guessed so we can prepare. Just disregarding someone saying you guessed a number is not professional and rude to the customer who has to spend this amount.

10/10 moving experience. Our movers were professional, extremely hard working, efficient and adaptable. Despite some issues with our condo building (elevators not set up, having to park truck across the street), our movers worked quickly to get our condo emptied and packed up. They were friendly, communication was excellent and they did not stop all morning. Currently storing our belongings until our new house is ready but we’ve already requested the same team to move us into our new house. Highly recommend!
