Absolutely careless company. I wish I could give these guys a 0 star. I'll give you the brief run down. 2 Failed delivery attempts Delivery attempt 1 Our coffee table was chipped during assembly and our dining room table was cracked. We sent both back and waited another month and a half for a replacement. Delivery attempt 2 Half of the team did not show up. One entered my home without a mask during a pandemic / lockdown. They dropped the replacement table on my floor and scratched it. They then refused to move the dining table in as it was to heavy? These people knew the weight of the table because they already tried to deliver it once? I spoke to upper management about this and they assured me they will bring the right people to do the job. What a nightmare.. do not hire these people unless you want a complete disaster.

AMJ Campbell delivered a couch to my condo. The delivery people dropped the piece of furniture, damaging a floor board in my living room. I immediately contacted the company and sent photos of the damage requesting a resolution. Their response is that the delivery people denied dropping any furniture and therefore they will not be liable for any damage. Shows a tremendous lack of integrity and dishonesty on their part. I personally witnessed the damage and even overheard an employee commenting on it. Lesson learned, next time someone delivers anything to your home make sure you record the entire process for proof. Shame on this company for such dishonest practice. I will never use their services again. Edit: Krystal from AMG Campbell was kind enough to reach out and discuss the issue. Unfortunately the end result was the same, stating there was nothing they could offer. I can only conclude that this effort was in vain and merely to portray a semblance of concern through her response on my Google review.

It was a seamless two day move with a stop in route to a storage facility. They were absolutely top notch! Worth every penny. I am late with this review but when i think back at my experience with this company I can't not give them a review. Our move was May 2019. Right when the movers arrived they told me were were quoted incorrectly. They decided before they started it would take longer than the quote. They were slow and kept stopping. One was wearing headphones and dropped something of ours and broke it. Out team was 3 movers. One asked my husband if we could order pizza and wings. Another i caught getting a bear out of the fridge and drinking it. They are very unprofessional. There should be a flat rate because when they quote you so many hours they are always over the hours and its on purpose.

My wife and I hired AMJ Campbell to move our stuff on Wednesday May 15 2019 from Mississauga to Georgetown. I just wanted to say a great big thank you to everyone for such a positive and pleasant moving experience. From the initial assessment with Roger to the final piece of furniture moved in by Kyle and his crew, you were all professional and personable. We have heard so many horror stories when it comes to movers. That’s why it is so important to get the word out there that AMJ Campbell is a reliable and trustworthy company with good people who want to provide the best moving experience possible to their customers. Kyle and his crew were so fast and efficient! Our old house was all packed up in the truck in record time. They put runners down to protect the carpets and floors. They wrapped our furniture and were careful not to mark the walls on their way out. When unpacking everything in the new house, my wife and I were amazed as they slowed down just long enough for us to tell them where in the house that particular piece of furniture was going. We have spent the last few days unpacking which has been a lot easier not having to search the whole house for boxes put in the wrong room. Our friends were glad to hear that we hired AMJ Campbell to move our house, but mostly because they were worried we were going to rent a truck and ask them to help us move! This was our first time using a professional moving company to move house and we will never do it ourselves ever again. We are calling AMJ Campbell for our next move for sure! For those who just want to skim: When considering using this company for your moving needs, ask yourself: Would you trust them to help your grandmother? If the answer isn't a resolute "yes" (and it shouldn't be), go elsewhere. Terrible experience with AMJ for my grandmother. Movers barely completed their job, and not in the way she asked for/expected/was told to expect. She tried to remedy the situation by giving this location a call and was met only with incredibly poor and aggressive attitude. I took it upon myself to call the head office in Canada (this location, Mississauga), and they promised they'd remedy the situation. They gave her back a tiny bit of money and promised movers would come at a certain time - they didn't. They left my 79 year old Grandmother to move big amounts of furniture around her house, and left plenty of boxes just lying around. I read the customer book left by the company and what they advertise as their service was as far as possible from what actually happened as possible. Unacceptable. I understand not everyone will experience this poor service, but it could happen, and therefore it's worth mentioning. When considering using this company for your moving needs, ask yourself: Would you trust them to help your grandmother? If the answer isn't a resolute "yes" (and it shouldn't be), go elsewhere.

Do not trust the ETA. If it says 2:30 it will show up 4 hours late. Idk where these drivers are driving but my time has been extremely wasted. Tried calling customer service and they said it would arrive at a certain time... It didn't.

Bad company. Moved in mid-February before the Covid lockdown. Three guys instead of the agreed four showed up a half hour late. They disappeared several times for a half hour at a time. My wife went looking for them and they were in the truck discussing their social life. We pay for that time. Very long move. They damaged a file cabinet. It was fixed. We were promised a special crate for our tv. They did not have it and wrapped it in a blanket. When the the tv was next turned on we saw that there were broken pixels. The tv was permanently damaged. The claim was rejected (it took two months) because they said it was our risk to move it and they did not charge us for the special crate they promised and did not deliver. So they said it was our fault that they broke our tv. Negligent, lack of responsibility, careless, uncaring, liars are words I use to describe AMJ Campbell Movers. I do not recommend them.

It was amazing to meet 3 gentleman 1 woman who came packed up and moved quickly. When they got there I had packed everything in my own bins not boxes cause I didn’t have any. It was set with Roger that people would come over January 3rd to pack and on the 4th the guys would simply come and move everything out. Roger called me a few days before and said “ you don’t have a lot of stuff so the guys can do it all on the 4th”. They were disappointed and didn’t have boxes due to an expectation that everything would already be packed. They called someone that was close to the area she had all the boxes and packed all my stuff in 40 minutes. ( from my bins to the boxes)The guys called her the machine and she was. This put a lot of pressure to have everything done in a timely fashion. They were very professional and did the up most to complete the job at hand. I am sorry for not knowing the names of the 4 of them. There should be better communications between the quoted ( Roger) and the packers and movers. They were great about everything and felt bad for me, in turn I felt bad they were put in that position. If someone else was moving in or out and they booked the elevator from 12 noon to 3pm it would of been a huge problem. All in all Roger with me was wonderful and looked after my needs but the info should of been shared with the guys. I am sure they would of asked the question is everything packed in boxes because we don’t carry many or not at all. Overall great job, professional, kind, friendly and I felt cared for furniture and all. Everyone did a great job and should be given the praise and recognition they so deserved.

We used AMJ Campbell for our last leg of our travel banned, suez canal stuck material. It was their responsibility to clear customs and deliver the materials to us. it was absolutely painless. They even waived warehouse fees when things got delayed for a further 2 days because of some technical issues. They came here 15 mins early, and were done with all the work in 30 mins. The movers followed safety protocal, and were extremely well mannered and proactive. Will definitely contact them again if we have to make a move - which i hope wont be for some time!!

Absolutely the worst service ever!! I’m in the middle of a divorce and sold my matrimonial home and they did not move stuff they were supposed to!! For example they moved the mattress for one of the beds but not the frame itself and they lost hardware for my $2500 treadmill!!! This is making the breakdown in my marriage that much harder and they have not responded to my concerns I’m thinking of disputing the charges with my credit card company or taking them to small claims if they do not resolve this soon!!!!!

We had an order from pottery barn delivered by AMJ, the original delivery date went ok, they were missing a kitchen chair and a leather chair, when they went back to look in the truck they found the leather chair but not the 4th kitchen chair. My complaint is with the people scheduling me to get the 4th chair that their “packer” did not load. At first the woman was apologetic, however they wanted to deliver the 4th chair on a Saturday at a time that would not work for us. Instead of trying to get it to us that same day we now can’t get it until Tuesday, the original delivery was Thursday. The mess up was on the company so the company needs to do everything they can to get us that 4th chair not try and have us sit around all day more than once and act like it’s not an inconvenience. I did not have a choice in using this company for the delivery, but given a choice I would not use them.

Forget these lot if you are doing an international move. Once you move past the nice folk that do the quote and you sign up, its a disaster. Do a proper condition survey before moving out. When the items are delivered, insist that hey are brought into your new home individually and checked off one by one. Have a camera ready to photograph and damage to the boxes. Also if you are moving a car. Take a photographic record / agree the mileage at point of handover.

Thanks to AMJ Campbell. I lost thousands of dollars and faith in humanity. If you do not want your move to be a complete disaster, run away from this company. We moved from Winnipeg to Toronto in July, full service for packing and moving 4 BD house. After a negotiations, the company reduced the price a bit, it ended with $6406. The packing day was long. Only 3 people worked although I requested 4. The delivery was late in 1 day, the company offered a discount of $300. The day of receiving was a complete disaster. I put all my family gold, diamonds and my jewelry in home in a jewelry boxes. I was wearing some of the gold day before I received the shipment. The day of the receiving was very long and stressful, all the jewelry were in the boxes in the house. The movers had an access to everywhere in the house and I couldn't possibly watch every step, next morning I couldn't find 2 jewelry boxes with most precious and priceless items, inherited gold and diamond jewelry from my mother, my Mother-in-law RIP and Grandmother RIP, wedding and engagement rings. I filed complain to the police. Total lost is appraised above 27000. The company takes no responsibility and is not willing to conduct any type of investigation. They just answered my question, that all the movers have clean criminal record, and refused to provide any supportive documentation. I had also a painter in the house at the same time, he started to work before the moving day and continued to work after moving day. The jewelry went missing on the moving day. I am heartbroken,I don't know how to talk to my mom, I am ashamed to look into my husband face. Everything precious from 3 generations of my family disappeared on the moving day.My family pain is endless. The team of the movers who came with the furniture were unprofessional. They didn't wrap wooden stairs in the house and didn't put runners, didn't care if they cause any damage . Only after me pointing out the scratch they just made on hardwood floor, they wrapped the stairs and placed the runners. The movers refused to re-assemble the furniture. The furniture was only partially wrapped. After my call to the office, they reassembled only part of the beds. The team lead, was extremely rude, he yelled at me in my house in front of my kids. Just to be clear, re-assemble was part of the contract. I found out that my expensive furniture were moved 3 times from trailer to trailer, and the last small trailer was too small. Only after few mails and phone calls, 3 days later, another team cam to assemble the furniture. Part of the furniture and other stuff such as iron or paintings came broken and damaged. Box, rugs, desk and some few items are missing. Most of the furniture is scratched, damaged and chipped. There is a lot of damage to my king bed and king mattress, some damage to the kids beds and desks. I am upset, because all the furniture was purchase a year and half before the moving day, We purchased a new house in Winnipeg less then 2 years before the moving day, and we invested a lot in new expensive furniture and decorations. Some of the unbreakable items such as books were wrapped in a lot of paper, but other breakable items such as glasses were jammed inside small box with a lot of the paper on the top and the bottom. I guess different packers use different system to pack, or the packers were tired by the end of the long packing day and just didn't care anymore. Any ways, most of the boxes were just filled with the papers, 2 months later I'm still throwing the papers away. This was the worst service experience of my life. I filed claim for all the missing and damaged items, except the jewelry. The police investigation is open, I am waiting to receive the results and considering to go to the court against the company and against the movers personally for the missing jewelry.

AMJ Campbell were on time. Both pakers and movers. They moved so fast it was hard for me to keep up to them. They did and great job. The only draw back with a move like mine was that part of the move was going to a residence and another was going to storage. I am finding as we unpack at the residence that a lot of things that should have come here ended up being taken to storage although they were cleared marked for the residence and were not located at the old house in the same area as the thing going to the new house. However, they made the move seamless and much less stressful.

The moving crew were the highlight of the company and the best group of guys. Every piece that was not in a box was covered in blankets and plastic without exception and the guys made a very stressful time feel safe and reassured. I have moved before with other companies who were less expensive than AMJ by only a couple of thousand, who ran out of boxes during the packing and miss-assessed my entire move by a couple of days making the stress levels from high to extreme. Horrible experience with this moving company Movers did not show up at all during the time they said they would and zero communication from company. Had a move planned with AMJ Cambelle and the movers were supposed to come at 8:30 am and finish by 11am. They never showed up and didn't even call or notify me. I had to call and email several times to get in touch with someone and when I finally did they said they made a mistake and movers would not be available till later in the afternoon. I had to cancel the move and make alternative arrangements to get another moving company and storage. They still charged my credit card the deposit amount and held a pre authorization for a much larger amount then originally quoted even though they did nothing. I have moved often , many times across borders and this is the worst experience I have ever had. I chose them thinking they would be more professional even though I had quotes much less than theirs. In any event their quote means nothing as the costs come in way over the amounts quoted and they charge your credit card with increased amounts without your permission. When they arrived to pick up my furnishings, it took them an hour to just park the truck/trailer as it seems that the driver was incapable of negotiating the rig into the loading dock for my condominium building. The crew ate on my time and then the driver spent over 40 minutes to fill out a simple bill. When presented with the bill I made a note on it that I did not agree with the hours because of the time spent in negotiating the rig into the loading dock and would like to take the matter up with a Management officer.The bill showed approx 15% over the original quote. It seems that the customer is asked to sign whatever the driver (person in charge) places before him after your goods are loaded on their truck. My questioning the bill was met with the utmost discourtesy and the driver subsequently left without providing me with any papers evidencing the pick up of my goods. I subsequently spoke to the representative who did the original quote and he promised that the bill would be adjusted and I would get a revised invoice for my pick up option. I have to date not received such an invoice. My overall move entailed three parts; a pick up, storage and then delivery. On the delivery, my wife signed an invoice on completion of the delivery in an amount that was the exact quote given originally. Lo and behold, my credit card was charged with an amount in excess of this by approx 16%. I have not had explanations on these differing amounts. Quite apart from the amount was the fact that at pick up they dismounted a glass dining table which was missing a chrome bolt when delivered, as well the leather on my bed was scratched. Because there is deductibles on their insurance and given my experience with this Company, I chose not to have any further contact with them. I should have checked online for reviews of this company before contracting with them, a fact I very much regret.

My recent move with AMJ Campbell was a disaster. What sold me on the company initially was the professionalism and knowledge of the salesperson/estimator. In the end the final amount was almost spot on to the estimate. Although their estimate was higher than any of the others I assumed that I would receive top-notch service( wrong assumption!!). I used their packing services and the ladies who did the work were adept and efficient. Things went downhill within 5 minutes of the moving crew’s arrival. One of the crew members worked at break neck speed and within a few minutes broke the leg of my vintage rosewood coffee table. I became extremely upset and began to watch him closely as he worked, fearful that he would break more things. He became angry and resentful and maintained this antagonistic attitude through the next 2 days of the move. I contacted the head office requesting that he be kept doing work in the truck and that other crew members be sent to work in my house. This happened for a short while and then the aggressive worker came back to work in my house. At the delivery end this worker refused to put boxes where he was asked and placed them so that labelling was not visible, despite directions to do otherwise. On the other hand several of the other crew members were wonderful- hard-working, careful and accommodating. In the end a number of items were broken aside from the table leg. A pane of glass was broken in cabinet door; the metal base of a small statue had a huge chunk broken off plus more. The response from the company throughout the move was” We’re sorry and you have 30 days to file a claim”. What started off as a positive experience turned into a fiasco. THE COST OF THIS MOVE WAS IN EXCESS OF $16,000.00 which proves that the most expensive is not necessarily the best.

Worst move ever !! First time I used the company it was great but the 2nd move was unbelievably incompetently done from start to finish. The estimate I received was $6000 to move out and they billed me $12,500!!! To move my items into their storage !! Who does that?!!! Ruined our holidays with no $$$ left to spend . It was so obvious how badly they messed up and the accounting was all wrong. Unbelievable !!! I waited more than 4 months to get my money back !!! Back and forth with the owner of the Co, accounting , sales rep . Totally unacceptable and horrific experience and nothing extra to make things right . Scarred for life . Send movers home right away if you see them moving extremely extremely slow!! Also if you still have to things to pack and they send you one person , reschedule your move . Take things into your own hands as this company didn’t look after me at all. I hired another Co to move my things from their storage to my new place and they never notified me that they moved my things to another storage location lol They’re unbelievable !! Lucky the other Co moved me in record time and way cheaper than AMC’s quote . I would never want to experience what AMC would charged me . They overestimated the time and docking fee when I moved things out of storage. That should be an easy estimate !NEVER AGAIN!!

We moved last week from the Brampton area to the Waterloo Region. From beginning to end, no issues. No damage to the home we moved from nor any damage to the new home we moved into. And just as important, there was no damage to any of our furniture or belongings. Alda, the relocation consultant was professional and offered a number of suggestions that would make our move easier. The quote was reasonable as well. No surprises on the final bill. The four movers we had were great guys. Professional, hard working and didn't stop moving until the work was completed. We selected AMJ Campbell to pack , store and deliver our belongings. Two trucks delivered our belongings and it was noted that quite a few pieces were damaged coming off their truck. Upon unpacking we were very disappointed that many more items were broken or were missing. We were instructed to take pictures of these items and submitted them as requested. Almost a year later they did repair some of the items but AMJ are refusing to replace or pay for the balance . We received initially an insultingly low value for these items and went back and forth, then they stated that these were considered "Owner's Risk" which we did not sign an acknowledgement now they are still refusing to settle with us citing that the balance of the items were "Packed by Owner" which we had confirmed these items were packed, stored and delivered by AMJ. I would t recommend that you NOT trust this company with your household/ personal belongings, you will get corporate rhetoric and excuses if you attempt to solve a claim.

I had four moves done in the last 7 months with them, it all went pretty smoothly. The first three times and which also involved with move into and out of storage were all excellent. All the crews were wonderful to work with. The last move, however, was not as good. The crew was still fantastic, but it seems that there were some scheduling or assignment error, where a side loading truck was assigned to my Job. That means there is no way to utilize a ramp. That means everything has to be raised by hand to the loading level, the crew tried their best to fit in the time arrangements. But I would say if I have not booked a 6 hour move in elevator reservation, we wouldn't be able to finish.

Our family used AMJ to move in March, the estimator quoted roughly 9 hours after viewing the items and distance. The final bill was 4 hours more than estimated. This was accomplished by the crew slowly disappearing when the items were to be delivered into our new home. During the move out of the old home the crew was everywhere and accomplished the task quickly, at the new home they slowed the pace and some members were nowhere to be found. I understand that they are looking for the extra dollar but they also damaged our floors, walls and most importantly we had a crib for our son (never been used) that they damaged. All these deficiencies were brought to the attention of the team lead and he took extensive photos and assured that all would be fixed. After the move a claims agent for AMJ contacted us and we said that we would let all the rest of the damage go but the crib needed to be repaired. The agent assured it would be taken care of… weeks later a repair person arrived and took the parts to refinish… he did an excellent job… after the repair the AMJ agent called and indicated that the repair cost was $550 and however we had a deductible of $250…. Nowhere during the process did they mention this! Beware of the hidden costs with these movers they are not honest and will milk the hours! If there is damage they will hide behind deductibles and charge your credit card without authorization even after you say that you do not agree with the charges. Not worth it!

I almost had a very stressful day, but thanks to the patience of the two AMJ Campbell movers, that didn't happen! They were delivering a couch that didn't fit through the hallway due to a tight turn. It was especially stressful because I had measured all aspects of the path from the door to the living room prior to purchasing the couch (which was custom and could not be returned). I went over the dimensions (with video!) with one of the store's agents before going ahead with the purchase. But alas, I suppose some things you can't really be 100% sure of without hiring an architect. Luckily, one of the AMJ movers was thinking through all possible solutions. He spotted a closet in the entrance way that could offer more space if the doors could be removed. The problem was the maintenance guys in my building were completely tied up that day with the annual HVAC servicing and couldn't come right away to take the doors off. The AMJ movers waited over 20 minutes for the maintenance guy, who finally arrived and took the doors off. I moved everything out of the closet and HALLELUJAH the couch fit!! If anyone is still reading, you have NO IDEA how worried and stressed I was. I am so appreciative of the movers waiting. I don't even want to let my mind go to what would have happened otherwise!

I take pride in my things and I was very happy to purchase these very expensive items from restoration hardware totalling 1420.00 EACH. As advised I reached out to their adjuster team with my receipt of the items and all the necessary information, the next day I received an email for a settlement of 57.00 IS THIS A JOKE ??? if you take pride in your items I suggest NEVER using this company , they will ruin, destroy, scratch your personal belongings and will take no liability.

The entire AMJ team was professional, responsible and great to work with! Our moving team consisted of Mike, Calvin, Ruben and Marcus. These gentlemen were absolutely fantastic. They were courteous, efficient and focused. They took care of every detail from protecting our floors and railings, helping to pack up items we hadn't gotten to, dismantling and reassembling furniture, putting everything exactly where we wanted and most of all, reassuring us along the way that they would take care of everything (and they did!). This company is GREEDY and out of control ..Got a quote last week that is more than 2 times the quote of another reliable mover...I will go one step further..When I went to my local PUBLIC storage today, an AMJ Truck appeared on the scene and decided to drive toward INCOMING TRAFFIC? What kind of crazy company is this does not value safety of cars and other trucks? When I beeped my horn I saw someone coming out laughing and immediately called the head office of AMJ Campbell who frank appear to bored , obnoxious and low IQ individuals who did not take my concerns seriously..The dispatcher and another employer had no idea where Mississauga Road and HWY 401 are located yet their office is located in MISSISSAUGA? I gave them the license plate number and yet they have no contact with their trucks? I would not trust this company with my prized possessions. I will go with my very reliable mover who just laughed and said to me that he is glad that he is not dealing with a stupid customer but a fair customer who believes in reliability, safety and fair pricing..I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY..I am a CARP member and I do not care or Trust who CARP recommends after this situation with this greedy company that does not value safety and does not believe IN FAIR PRICING!!

If I could put a zero rating, I would have. I have to say that the only reason that I used their services is because I was told at work that we have good rates with them. So I did put my trust in them despite the high rates they were quoting because I did expect a minimum level of professionalism. The move was from Toronto to Ottawa. I do not recommend their services and would never use them again. First of all, they did damage the unit in Toronto and were being careless. They caused a few prominent scratches on the floor, they hit and broke a portion of the wall in the process also. They did not pay attention to ensure that the floor was being protected. I also have pictures that show that they crammed some boxes in the vault (boxes were bent/folded) so if there were any items of that could break they would have broken. When the items arrived in Ottawa, our table top was broken (see pictures) and the claims department is refusing to reimburse us for this claiming that marble is not covered. I am in agreement that marble is not an item that is covered so at least we are clear on that but the fact of the matter is, the table top is not marble. The mover in Toronto did label the item as a marble table top and when I submitted my claim I did refer to the number and description on the manifest int he same way it was written. The person never asked me what it was but did write it as a round marble top. Note that because marble is not insured, it was a very convenient way for them to remove any liability without getting any further details from me (someone please tell me how professional this is?). I have to say that right from the beginning I did provide the sales person with a list of the items to be moved and pictures and never once was I asked for any additional details. Now the person in the claims department (Miranda Coffie) is refusing to entertain this claim or even answering any further questions that I have on the grounds that I listed the item as marble because their mover did that so they can wash their hands from that liability. I did ask for an expert to come and check the item in person to validate that it is NOT marble but they have stopped answering my email. The table top seems to have been dropped otherwise the break would not look like it did. So either get movers that can actually deliver and do the job or take responsibility when accidents occur and own up to it. If this is not pure theft from a company that portrays itself as being professional, I don't know what that is. I am yet to understand the reason of this refusal. I just want answers and I can accept that there is a policy that we should abide by so I am not even debating the fact that marble is not covered. I am not unreasonable and I can understand that but all I was told is that because I wrote marble on the form (i.e. because their mover wrote marble and I was just putting the description that they listed on the manifest to ensure that they can refer to it easily and them refusing to check it in person), then the case is closed. I even asked for clarifications as to what I am paying insurance for in the first place and have not had an answer. Honestly, if you want to feel robbed and have your rights stolen from a company that claims to be professional and conduct business with integrity then look no further. Bottom line is, I am left with the destruction of my physical property (residence and furniture) and no one to take an ounce of responsibility for it. At a time when organizations should raise their level of support, I feel like they have taken advantage of the COVID situation to avoid dealing with the issue hands on, and send someone to examine the item before reaching a premature conclusion. Shame on you. UPDATE June 23, 2021: On May 31, I get a call from some representative that promised that someone will get back to be within 24 hours to discuss this matter in more detail. We are now June 23, and I am yet to hear from anyone about this. They pretend to care online yet they ignore you, don’t answer you and run away with your money

Not recommended! Quoted 4 men 16 hours. Showed up with 3 well 2.5 really cause one guy was useless. Final bill 27 hrs!! Crew was lazy and surly. No care with antique furniture. Was pushed dragged and tipped on edge in stead of lifted. Boxes clearly marked this way up, packed sideways and upside down. No care was taken. The damage claim process is set up to be difficult if not impossible. Your claim has to be filed in one online session. and customer gives you the usual run around DO NOT USE THE MISSISSAUGA OFFICE !

Hired AMJ for residential move in Jan 2020. Unfortunately, had a terrible experience from the move to customer service. Movers didn't bring enough runners, scratched hard floors, left marks on walls, broke pieces of furniture, left several items at the old house, etc. To top it all, it took over a month and 4 reminder emails to get a response from customer service. We foolishly signed off the papers as the movers showed tired and sorry face (a blunder, we committed). Now, AMJ not willing to take any moral or ethical responsibility for all the damage their movers caused, despite the fact that their movers were witness to all this and we had also told their office on the day of move that things were not going well. I believe the movers are now denying all this...........our learnings......never hire or recommend AMJ for residential moves (as they are too big to care care about small moves (though big for us as we spent nearly $5,000). Hope, others learn from our mistake and protect themselves legally when dealing with AMJ.........although our strong recommendation would be to never hire them...........unfortunately, Google review doesn't allow for zero star rating, so forced to give one.
