You won't regret working with Pro Service Moving! My husband and I booked them to move from our 2 bedroom apartment to a house, and the move was complete within 3 hours! They arrived on time (even a little early), and wasted no time at all—they moved us start to finish without a break (despite offering), and they were friendly and professional :) As for cost, we were charged exactly what Dan had described when we booked, with no hidden fees, and it was *significantly* less than any quote we had received from other companies!

I employed Pro Service Moving to move me from my two bedroom apartment to my new home in Sherwood Park. I initially chose them because the website seemed very well thought out with lots of good tips to make moving easier and cheaper. I then noticed that the owner, Dan, had a place on his website for reviews which specifically stated that he DID NOT host reviews on his site and directed people to Yelp or Google to leave reviews. His reasoning for this makes sense: as he is the webmaster, he can control the content on his own site and cherry-pick good reviews and silence the bad ones… So, I had a pretty good feeling that I was dealing with an honest company. The day of my move, which was scheduled in the late afternoon, they contacted me to advise that they would be late because an earlier client had given them the wrong unit number, and they had moved 75% of the stuff into the wrong place! Then they got caught in rush hour coming out of downtown. Totally not their fault. Anyway, poop happens, and they were in constant contact advising me of when they would be there. When Dan and Matt got to my apartment, they had everything out, tied down and ready to go in 45 minutes flat. Some of that speed came from the fact that I had learned some tricks from the website and I was organized. I did help loading a bit, but these boys are fast, strong and competent, just what you want when you’re paying by the hour. All the equipment they were using was high-quality, no cheap dollies or tie downs here. They had lots of furniture blankets and huge cardboard wardrobes for the loose stuff! When we got to the house, they got my stuff in and put it where I wanted it. Again, it was VERY fast. Dan and Matt are very polite and helpful, they listen to your concerns and can make intelligent suggestions when problems arise. I would not hesitate to recommend Pro-Service Moving to anyone, they are consummate professionals and excellent value. UPDATE: - I had previously employed Pro Service Moving to move me from my two bedroom apartment to my new home in Sherwood Park. I was so impressed with their service I had them move my mother from a single bedroom apartment into my house. The move was scheduled for 9am, and they rolled up 5 minutes early. I had organised the furniture and boxes pretty well, but again I was impressed with the speed that things got done at. It was a senior’s apartment, so we were unable to take over the only elevator, which slowed things down a bit waiting. My mom has much nicer, antique furniture and Dan and Matt were very careful with it. UPDATE: I am getting Pro Service Moving to move me to Okotoks in a week!

Dan helped me move from Edmonton to Beaumont last spring, and it was the easiest part of what is an otherwise super busy and stressful time. What would have been at least an entire weekend of truck rentals and calling in family and friend favours, Dan ripped off in a day. Nothing at all was damaged, he was spot on with his estimate, and I didn’t spend the next week tired and sore. Hiring movers, and especially these guys, is the best money you’ll spend. I don’t want to move again any time soon, but if I do, at least I know who to call for the lifting part!

I'm happy to write my review for his past work today for his new google listing: --- We hired Pro Service for our move within Edmonton on a weekday in mid-July 2019. We moved from a rental bungalow to our first home. We packed 90%, and left disassembling bed frames / mattresses/ big stuff to Dan. Dan and his colleague showed up on time, and got straight to work. It's the little things they did that made me certain their experience reduced the amount of effort spent in getting the work done; such as how quickly they removed doors, how well they laid out floor mats, how efficiently they packed the truck, and showing care in planning how they'd get bigger pieces out. When they gave me their bill at the end of the day, it accurately reflected time worked, minus time they took for their lunch break. They had a flat hourly rate, no extra fees. I accidentally paid them too much (my mistake, not theirs), an extra hour's worth, and they immediately paid me back upon realizing what happened. They saved my *full* (apartment sized) deep freeze for last, and carried it upstairs, into the truck, and unloaded it immediately to the new basement in no time at all. Pretty impressive. -- He was really quick to communicate, and was able to quickly give a quote since my request was fairly detailed (I listed square footage, how many rooms ground floor, rooms downstairs, boxes and all furniture (from upstairs/downstairs to upstairs/downstairs), he gave me his rate and estimate, to which he was very close. I'm hoping to never need to move again, but if I did, or if any friends needed recommendations, I'd hire him again in a heartbeat. Fair price for honest, quality work.

We had a recent 2 bdrm apt move from a three story walk up and all we had to do was watch these 2 guys move us professionally and efficiently. Their estimated cost was exactly what we ended up paying and they showed up exactly when they said they would. I was most impressed by how hard they worked in a very coordinated manner and basically all we had to do was stay out of their way. They arrived a few minutes early and did all they promised. I was very pleased with the results. I did recommend them to a friend who used them and was pleased as well.
