I used this company about 7 years ago and if I could give more stars I would! They were absolutely wonderful and I've passed their name and number along many, many times. Unfortunately, my daughter didn't take my advice for her move this weekend and hired a different company (and I use that term loosely). It has been an absolute nightmare! There are 2 lessons to be learned here. 1. Call Halbro when you need a moving company. 2. Listen to your mom when she tells you to call Halbro!! ...just sayin'

I just moved to Lethbridge and used Halbro as my movers. Being a young female I was nervous but the staff made me feel super comfortable. They were all super kind and respectful. The price was also very reasonable. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

This lady feels the need to keep emailing me about my review and harnessing me. I'm completely disgusted with this action. I wish she just leave me alone. I never said I should be priority I just asked for a timely response. I only told her I was pregnant and that's why I can't move the fridge myself I never once asked for special treatment because I was pregnant and now she won't stop emailing me to complain about my post. She never emailed me over the weekend only this morning As well I'm not sure why she feels the need to lie. As a mother to be I can see how a wedding this weekend is important but I don't see how harassing a very pregnant lady through email is needed .

This company moved us from our two bedroom condo in Summerland, BC to Red Deer, AB in mid November 2021. We were given a very competitive estimate from Halbro Movers, after we had got a number of estimates from movers in the Okanagan Valley where our belongings would not reach our intended destination for 2-3 weeks. Halbro movers said they would drive out, load up, drive back and unload the following day making it a 2 night lay over for a 28.5 hour travel and loading/unloading feat. They were brilliant. The employees Travis and Corey were professional, polite and efficient. They dealt with fragile items well and wrapped carefully the leather and wooden furniture. This company took the risk of coming through the mountains after 'dodgy weather' and getting us to our new home before the next storm. We highly recommend Halbro movers for large and small moves.

Not sure where to begin... Hands down the BEST moving company you could possibly get anywhere!! On time, ready to work, fastest, most meticulous and hardest working crew ever! Moved us in -33 weather, moved 11 appliances (to and from old house & new) plus contents of 3 bedroom house and a 20 x 12 storage unit. These guys (& gals) are the BEST! They know what they are doing and actually seem to enjoy their work! Amazing crew!! Would & Will recommend VERY HIGHLY to everyone! Fairly priced, exceptional service and just plain WOW! My experience with this moving company was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful from the first contact when I requested a quote and information. On moving day the staff were courteous, efficient, and very respectful of my belongings and the property. And when the invoice was what I had expected from the quote, I was really pleased. To start on a positive note, the guys worked very hard and fast. Now, that being said, they showed up with a small cube van instead of a 5 ton. I was told not all my stuff was going to fit and they could get another truck, but would have to charge me!!! Really! Then I had to ask them to put down a runner for their wheeler, as the building is well maintained. Heard the one tell the other that the management is "anal"! Again, Really? As I was trying to help, I took my bed apart, which my prior mover did. Upon arriving at new destination and setting up, they put the box spring and mattress on the frame with not ONE screw put in...Really? They left all the screws on the window ledge behind the armoire. The kitchen table was put together incorrectly even though they took apart. The coffee table legs were put on the end table and vise versa. The bed was chipped at the headboard. Noticed all these things AFTER I paid and they had left. Would highly NOT recommend.

I have moved every year in the past few years and I have been very disappointed with how slow and expensive the other movers are in town. I would recommend Halbro everytime. I have to admit I was not very happy with this company. The rates were really good, and I had a personal recommendation for them. The two guys that showed up were a bit sketchy, one wouldn't even speak to me or make eye contact. They damaged two pieces of furniture. I watched them ram a dresser hard into the corner and dent the wall trying to take a dresser down the hall. They dismantled the bed and left all screws in the old house 50 km away. But the most shocking part was how rude the woman was when I called in to make a payment. When booking, she had told me what the hourly rate was, but had mentioned nothing else about payment. She never told me that they were going to charge me a fee for using my credit card until I called in on the day of the move. Then the attitude I got when I questioned that was shocking. If she had have told me I could pay by check without an additional charge, I would have had one ready. I will not be using this company again. I guess you get what you pay for.

I have had some bad experiences with movers in the past. I gave Halbro a try a few years ago and loved them! Since then I have used them repeatedly. This is the only company I will use. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants professional and reliable movers. Don't waste your time with any one else!

I had them do a residential move for me last year and they were so friendly and professional. They took great care of my furniture and ensured everything got to the new place in the same condition. They even went above and beyond and helped me set up my washer and dryer even though they didn't have too. Great company I will definitely use them again and will not hesitate to refer them to friends and family.
