A beautiful theatre from the 1920s, with murals on the Pelissier Street side, the Capitol is home to the Windsor Symphony Orchestra and numerous travelling and local community theatre performances.

Windsor institution. Great people. Very difficult if you aren't good at stairs. Someone needs to help on a bit of masterwork restoration. Acoustics were good. Help the Youth earn money for their trip to Montreal. Nice gift store. Comfortable seats.

As you walk into this theatre you are immediately struck by the awe inspiring architecture and décor, which leads you into what is wholly a superb venue for various cultural experiences. The staff are remarkably amicable and willing to do whatever they can to meet the needs of the patron. I fully recommend seeking out show information on the Capitol's website or Facebook page and finding something that suits your taste!

At almost 100 years old, the Capital Theatre is an amazing venue to see the excellent Windsor Symphony Orchestra or a play. The new audience chairs and new flooring nicely accent the classic theatre atmosphere. Well worth the visit!

Saw Greatest Hits Live perform here while travelling for Thanksgiving, on top of the awesome performance the Capitol Theatre itself was gorgeous! Awesome accustics, gorgeous walls and ceilings and friendly staff. Lived in Windsor for 4 years without knowing about this gem!

WIFF and The Russian Five were our first Capitol experience. Very nice venue with good views, acoustics even in the back rows.

This is the home of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra and the Windsor International Film Festival. It is a great place to see a musical performance. As for films, it depends a lot on the room, the main theater is great and has nice comfortable seats, but some of the smaller rooms where they show films for the film fest have pretty uncomfortable stacking chairs.

Beautiful facility. Great for musicals concerts, and shows of different kinds. Home to the Windsor International Film Festival each fall and hosts many shows throughout the year. A great building that's long been around in Windsor's history.

I was there for a WIFF film. It is a great renovated venue, a classic old style movie theater repurposed for numerous local cultural events. It is spacious and comfortable.

The theater has been chopped up into a couple of screens the decore and ambiance is nice. The seats were too cramped and not enough leg room for anyone over 5'3". I loved that we got to see The Irishmen on the big screen. It was the only theater allowed to play it
