This place is good but your kids will be disappointed to find that they can't get a popcorn refill but otherwise its a very good place to see a movie oh and if you stand by the entrance at night and look down at the cement you will get a glittery surprise

I've come here a few times but in my opinion they should have a better system for checking people's tickets.. saw people go straight between the ticketing boths up to the food concessions then into the theater without even being asked for their tickets.. god knows how many sneak in like that. Also the seats would benefits from an upgrade but overall good experience.

Nice and neat movie theater, variety of movie selections. Usually not crowded in the weekdays. Tickets are a little overpriced in the weekends. Large screen and good sound quality. Seats are okay. Only thing holding back from 5 stars is that the seats aren’t as fancy as some other places, still have the traditional seats. Good customer service, friendly and welcoming staff. Overall, my experience at this place was ok ????

We visited Christmas evening. Disgusting! Trash in hallways. Floors were sticky, and carpets were filthy. Women's bathroom smelled terrible. Cinema seats were broken down & sticky, and the room smelled like body odor.

This is my second time at this dirty, disgusting place! Clearly there are no Covid 19 precautions in place as the entrance doors were filthy and full of fingerprints. The floors of the lobby were nasty and the restroom reaked of urine. The concession and fountain area was sticky. Also run over trash greeted you outside the door.

I had gone to this theater as a child and remember it being a beautiful, exciting, and fun place. I am sorry to say but this movie theater has become a dump. Walking in everything seemed normal, yet after passing the ticket booth the trip down memory lane ended. I went to grab food before my movie, and everything seemed greasy or dusty. The staff was overwhelmed, and well of course they would be since there was only one person there. After my pizza was dropped and had to be remade I went into the theater for my movie. I noticed when looking for a seat that all of them were either stained, had food/trash still on them, or broken (theater 5,) I felt bad sitting down. The movie I saw (upgrade) was good and my mind left the dirty seat for the duration, but something needs to change if I am to ever come back and the couple who sat behind me agree.

Not very busy. The staff was very limited but they were doing their job well. We ended up having a whole theater room to ourselves. It felt a little strange, but still had the theater vibe we went for.

Mediocre movie w/o good screen. Private security guards inside. Staff is very friendly. Update: I went to the last movie last week, and at the end (almost 1 am) all trash containers were overflowed. Trash on the floor. Bathroom very dirty and the kitchen for hot food at 930 was already closed. I lowered one star after this

This theater hasn't had any renovations in a while. The seats dont recline but they are comfortable enough. The drink and popcorn areas are not kept very clean. I enjoyed my movie experience but they could step it up in a few other areas. Thats why i gave them a three. I took my son here for his birthday on a Saturday night and there was barely any movie goers. We had the whole theater to ourselves. Im afraid this theater might not be here for much longer.

The popcorn was stale. The manager offered to make a new batch or a consession refund...I opted for a new batch and OMgosh, the new batch was also stale. The manager gave me a complimentary movie ticket as a courtesy since I missed 20 minutes of the movie. This "returning" to the movie theatre experience was horrible. 2 stars because the manager tried...I can appreciate that.

Number one I am A list and the movie we saw was good but there was problem with the movie it was canceled and the manager told me she couldn't refund no money back because I brought my tickets on Atom. There bathrooms were very dirty and nasty.

It's a typical AMC, a bit overpriced but that's normal. There was an ample supply of coke and popcorn, the usual and of course other menu items such as pizzas, I would return again. The seats are all reclining and the screen is large enough that it looks good wherever you are standing.

The Lil lady at the counter was GREAT. I caught the 5pm show . My theater room was empty and filthy, as if no one cleaned up since the last showing. I enjoyed the movie and the restrooms where clean.

An aging theater getting pretty dirty. Picture and sound were good in auditorium 6. I do like that you can raise the armrests to sit more comfortably next to someone. And like most booster seats, the ones here are pretty gross, but it's nice that they have them.

Its okay, they have the new movies and stuff but its a bit too abandoned at night when it should be booming at night because its the ideal time to watch a movie with friends or family. Also, most of the snacks I wanted were unavailable even though it was written in the menu.

I took my time to make sure that I was being fair about the fairlane 21. But this was with no doubt the worse movie experience I have had all my life, and that is including going to movie theaters on 3rd world countries. We were trilled that AMC still had tickets for the opening night of the Avengers Endgame, a little pricey but OK, we wanted to watch the movie Thursday night. From the start it was not a good night, we arrived to the theater an hour earlier than our showtime. We walk in expecting the delicious familiar smell of fresh popcorn, only to be greeted by a moldy smell. It is an older building, maybe it is just the way it smells. We get our very expensive concessions, 40 bucks for 3 drinks, popcorn and "pizza" more like hard bread with cheese wiz on top. The pop corn tasted stale, the soda tasted flat, even after using a different machine. My wife did not let me go back to the box-office and complain of the sub-par food. We still had an hour to wait for the movie, and we were not allowed into the theater until 15 minutes prior to our movie. only one bench for hundreds of people on their lobby. After standing there and waiting, we walk into a theater, number 4, and the smell was worse than the lobby. The seats themselves reminded me of school bus benches, hard and very uncomfortable.. It was also as hot as it can be, probably over 80 degrees in there. We soon realized that once seated we would not be able to leave, since the aisles were very narrow, and I mean I had to drag my feet together to be able to scoot to my seat. With the narrow seats and the lack of enough arm rests, we spent most of the movie trying not to drop anything on our neighbors laps. We soon realized that the projector window is low enough that the heads of the people on the last row actually casted a shade on the movie screen. The movie screen quality was fuzzy and hard to see as well as you could hear static on the speakers. It was the first and the last time we visit this theater. Couldn't even request a refund for the horrible concessions because they refused to give me a receipt because the printer had ran out of paper. We re-watched the movie on Saturday on the Cinemark on Taylor much more comfortable and enjoyable theater.

The theater is under staffed, concession prices are too steep, and there is no seasoning for the popcorn. I was told that there hadn't been any for over a year. It was a challenge theater finding my seat. Not visible enough. Best part about it was plenty of available seating.

Nastiest theater ever! My husband and I went on a Sunday afternoon in November. Not a lot of traffic there but the place was still very out of order. There was food and trash all over the place. The concession stands looked nasty. There was food on the floor before we went in for our movie and food on the floor when we came out. Appeared as if the place hadn't been cleaned all week. Inside the theater was riddled with filth as well. Wasn't comfortable enough to venture to the restrooms. I hadn't been here in ten years or so and I never plan on returning again. This place struggles with staffing issues coming out of Covid. It is cleaner than before Covid but it still could use a good professional cleaning on a regular basis. There are still conflicts in line with the A-list program which can get a bit agressive and there is never a manager around to help sort it out.

Kids bought tickets online for $25 just to be told they can't enter building because they're under 18 and movie was after 4pm. Non of this was stated on website.. So kids asked for refund and they gave them a AMC GIFT card FOR $12. Manager didn't give you eye contact and refuse to give corporate phone number. AFTER GETTING MAD THAT I REQUESTED NUMBER, HE WROTE A NUMBER DOWN THAT WAS UNREADABLE. There is no person to speak to for customer service,. Online nor in person, nor over the phone. They need to be shut down... Trying to call BBB TO REPORT THEM . THIS IS THEFT.. CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ARE STEALING FROM KIDS!

The chairs are old and not clean. The carpet is old and not clean. The popcorn is way too expensive and sometimes stale (depends on your luck). The lines are way too long. Needs more capable staff. The drink machines oftentimes don't have the most popular drinks and your drink may taste like bad sink water. This theater, to be blunt, is old. It needs renovations.

This theatre need to be professionally cleaned! This place is most disgusting from the front entrance to the back! The bathrooms were repulsive! I almost went to my car to get a blanket to sit on. The seats were terrible. There was caked on dry pop on seats and cup holders. The floors were sticky and almost unbearable to walk on. There was no pleasent smell, not even near where food was being served. The counters were disgusting and had not been wiped down! I couldn't enjoy movie because it felt like something was crawling on me. I did not sit back unto seat at all! ???? let me know when refurbished and maybe I'll return!

The theaters are supposed to be classy and clean. this place is a total dump. the lines are ridiculously long, the popcorn is stale, the floors are sticky, seats are uncomfortable, and you can smell the urine from the bathrooms yards away. I had to hold my breath and only breathe through my mouth through the entirety of the movie from the stench. i felt itchy when the movie was over, i am convinced the seats have bedbugs. they'd have to pay me to go back there.

The entire theater is filthy. The concession area was absolutely disgusting. It would only take a moment to wipe down the counters. The staff was pleasant (especially the ticket sales ladies) with the exception of the food handler whose demeanor was off putting and borderline disrespectful. It's very sad as I have frequented this theater since its opening...I wrote off Southfield AMC many years ago and I'll be adding Fairlane AMC to my Do Not Return list!!????

This movie theater is not up to date, they had 1 person at the ticket counter to service 30-40 people in line. That was ridiculous, I asked for a manager to come out to help. The manager sent another person to help, she came out walking slow and her customer service was unprofessional. They're excuse was normally on a Friday it's slow, but instead of looking at the line they were basing it on a typical Friday night. This theater need to improve on their customer service skills and put the customer first. After all without customers they wouldn't have a job. Also, the kiosk is always broken, I could have paid on the kiosk but it was broken. This AMC location doesn't care about their customers

They really need to update this theater. The seats are not the recliners so if you're a voluptuous or big and tall person sits it won't be comfortable for them. The restrooms are dirty looking due to the lighting. They have good customer service so that helps a lot. Thank you staff for doing such a great job.

The movie theater is decently priced for movie theaters these days but I will his theater is always dirty and gross. The bathrooms were disgusting and the theater itself was covered in popcorn when we got there. It doesn't have fancy reclining seats like many of the other area theaters.

Filthy. The bathrooms were not clean. My shoes stuck to the floor of the theater. Seriously, it took effort to pry them loose. The concession service was apathetic. I paid cash and the cashier just held my change barely within inside my reach. I had to rake it from them. No one even scanned our tickets. The security guards just waved us through.

I love the nostalgia of this place. I have been coming here since I was a kid and it has changed, but too much and I like that. It still has the center concession stand with the big food on top and d school flip down seating. I like the recliners that other theaters have now, but I adore the flip-down ones because they're old school. I am a premier member, and I love that they offer that for only $12 a year. There aren't always a lot of people in the theaters if a movie has been out for awhile, and I've always loved that, because it's like having a whole theater to myself. I also love the large popcorn portion.

It's cheaper to go in the weekdays, weekends aren't also terrible. For most of the movies, it won't be that crowded although it can be tough to get tickets for first releases. Just a regular AMC. Look for movies ahead of time and reach a little early if you want a proper seating.

I have to say, I'm a little disappointed because of the seating. When I pre booked my ticket, I specifically chose a time with less seats booked (20 minutes prior to showing). Terrible service! My date bought tickets online and went in ahead of time to print them. When we walked in, he showed the host the tickets and the host told us to stand in line still. We stood in line for no reason. Also, the bathrooms are very nasty, so are the concessions. They need better communication and a round the clock cleaning crew.

Probably the worst theater experience I've ever had showed up early 30 min early for movie pre paid for movie n snacks walked into movie 15 min late. Some staff were incredibly rude and just didn't care abt providing quality service or service at all. I will never go back to this theater again

I went to see Transformers the Movie today. This is a 35 year Anniversary presentation of the movie. As a huge fan, I was sooo looking forward to this. The first 10 mins of the movie had no sound, they didn't turn down the lights, and when we finally got audio (after myself, and another guy complained), it was low as hell. Not sure if you're familiar with this movie, but any movie in the theater should be somewhat loud (especially this one). Seeing it on the big screen was a treat, but I felt like the staff didn't care at all about the experience. This is the worst AMC I've ever been to.

Located outside the mall near the food court. Hence the phrase dinner and a movie. It is a very big movie theatre. Several pay options available, pay when you get there or before. You can even pay with gift cards but that has to done upon arriving. $8 adult tickets is not bad, clean. Nice size bathroom. You can host a party here and still not use all the space. There's space for accessible use. Refill being free makes the kids want to leave the movie just for more. The staff doesn't badger the customer, they are helpful. Or maybe because I had children with me. My experience was great and we have returned a few tickets since. I'm not a movie person. But the experience was awesome each time with children.

The audio for the IMAX is far too loud! Was excited to see Dune there but the audio was far to loud and the musical score was unbearable. The popcorn was good and the staff was nice.

The floors are super sticky, the seats are smelly, its filthy. The whole building needs to be sanitized with bleach and lysol. The employee's hate there job! No one smiles, or even greets you. This place needs a thorough cleaning. I arrived at 6pm for a movie. The restrooms were disgusting. As soon as I walked in the restroom, the smell of urine pierced my nostrils. There was a clogged sink and someone had turned on the water until it overflowed onto the floor, creating a slipping hazard. The concession area had dirty counters and litter on it, especially the counter with self serve butter. The carpet looked as if it had not been vacuumed that day. I was there almost three hours and nothing was cleaned in that time frame. I been to numerous movie theaters in different cities, it's sad that this particular one is the worse. The movie did start on time and I enjoyed it.

My son had his 11th birthday party here on November 7th. We rented out a movie theater for 20 guests. The theater was empty I felt safe & I would do again. Our pre-ordered snacks were ready once we arrived and everything went smoothly

So we couldn't find any tickets to the end game except for here and that's what we did. The movie was fabulous but the theater was dirty my feet was sticking to the floor and during the movie the people who were sitting in the back row got up and walk past the projector which interrupted the movie. The only reason why I'm giving this movie two stars is because of the availability of the movie I wanted to see and the manners of the staff who were very friendly and informative.

Went here to see the My Hero Academia movie at 5:30. Couldn't get into the theaters because there's a curfew and I don't have an ID proving I'm 18. Literally the most ghetto place I've been to. What kind of theater has a curfew before the sun even goes down? And to go to a PG-13 movie I need an ID? The staff didn't even bother explaining the rule to us, and when my twin brother tried showing his ID, we still got denied. Staff literally mocked me to my face, and then we walked out. I suggest anyone looking to see a movie in a theater go to LITERALLY any other theater. Streaming a movie on your phone illegally would be a better experience than going here. it's a 3 star theater for a reason. Think about it before you bother wasting your time driving here.

I don't normally write reviews but this place was so disgusting that I had to. The only reason we came here was because we had free movie tickets. We walk in the front door and it seemed dark and dirty but just kind of blew that off until we walked thru the next door way to get snacks. There was 3 employees total in the theater working and the snack stand was dirty and disgusting. The prices for snacks and pop are way more than any where else I've been. But we got popcorn and pop anyway and went to our show. We walked into the room and it smelled, was dirty and just plain disgusting. It doesn't even deserve one star but I can't rate it anything less. This wasn't worth the free movie ticket I got. Absolutely disgusting! I'd never come back here again!!!

Garbage everywhere. The workers care more to conversate than to keep the theater clean. Our theater was a mess, when the staff were alerted they didn't care. Do NOT GO HERE. It is ghetto, dirty with staff that are left to poor managment that have no idea what they are doing or how to run a business. Me and my boyfriend love going to see movies and we usually go to MJR that’s closer to us but he got a gift card for AMC so we thought why not use it. We saw a thing on their website that said something really cool that they have bigger screens and a better experience watching a movie and it’s called IMAX. We were super excited but kind of upset that we had to drive pretty far to get there but we thought it would be worth the drive. We got there and we ordered the tickets online and the food online but when we got there they did not have it made and they had a lot of time to make it. They seemed pretty unorganized and jumbled up too. Finally after we got our popcorn and drinks which actually did cost $50 altogether for the movie and drinks which I thought was just a little bit too much money for one movie, we were inside the theater. It was really cool because it did have a really really big movie screen but our seats were so close up it was really hard to see everything and it was way too loud for me. I had to cover my ears for a lot of it because it was just too loud for me. We did go see an action movie so there was more like louder events but it was still really loud. The seats were also very uncomfortable because they were super super close to the row in front of us and behind us so I accidentally kicked the guys chair in front of me because he was so close to me and I was just trying to put my leg on my other leg. Overall I’m really disappointed about this place I was really excited about it.

The theater was dingy and hot. The concession stand was priced higher than nearby theaters (Cinemark and MJR). The seats are older style that are cramped and don't recline. The movie played for about 10 minutes before the lights were turned down and we could actually see the screen. we had to go ask for the lights to be turned off. horrible experience. won't ever be back.

The movie theatre is nice and huge but the popcorn wasn’t tasty and they didn’t even have seasoning, the drink option machine sucked with its few choices and the seats were very uncomfortable. Also I think I heard a buzzing noise as well, wasn’t sure if that was part of the movie or theatre sound.

Perhaps the worst movie theater I’ve ever been to. It’s a shame considering when this theater opened it was the best movie experience around. It has been a good 10 years since I last visited and it looks like those 10 years were rough. The staff was rude or indifferent. The theater is desperately in need of a renovation. It’s absolutely filthy! The cleaning crew seemingly did nothing because the floor was covered with popcorn and it was extremely sticky. I didn’t even want to look at the seat. Also, the crowd seemed to think that talking during the movie was ok? The sound was so loud I could barely focus (probably to combat talkers), but I could still hear people chatting behind me. This isn’t directly the theater’s fault, but it’s still part of the reason why I will NEVER EVER step foot in that theater again.

I like this place. Their price tickets aren't too expensive, they're reasonably priced. It previews the latest movies, and have a variety of different movie selections. Their snack bar is also reasonably priced, and they provide a wide selection of snacks, which includes; candy, popcorn, pop/soda, etc. They're clean, and their customer service is great! I recommend this place!

I was their with my husband for our Anniversary on October 20, 2018. It was a very bad experience. The theater was not clean, went the movie before our finish we waited for someone to come and clean the room it never happen. We started to watch the movie and a bunch of young kids came and started talking and beening lought and adults talking about their problems. I have never seen nothing like that in any movie Theater. I will never visit this theater again that’s for sure. I hope that they really make a change. Because that was my favor theater went my kids was litter.

The crowd and the cleanliness of the theater are my two biggest complaints. The movie watchers don’t know how to be quiet when watching a movie. You can’t go five minutes without someone blurting something out or laughing at serious moments throughout the movie. As far as the upkeep of the theater, most of the time I walk into the theater and there’s wrappers or cups in the cup holders and the seats are always sticky. All in all only go here if you have no other choice...

Omg I was disappointed that children were allowed in a R rated film. My fiancé and I went to see Suicide Squad (it was a good movie). Usually kids are supposed to have an adult, I didn't see one. SMH. The kids were loud, cursing and on their phones ????. I thought by going to the late show no kids would be there, I guess next time I'll go early.

This theatre has not changed over the years other than its name. The seats are worn and depending on where you sit it has a really bad scent. I hope in the future they get some update like new chairs or update the minimal items in their concession stand

What used to be a great theater is now quite run down. Little effort is put into cleaning, with bathrooms and theaters visibly dirty. There are multiple broken seats within theaters (older styles stadium seats), and the staff always seems bored to be there, like they'd rather be doing anything else. Disappointing since this is the closest theater to our house. We usually end up driving further for a better experience.

The cleaning here for the bathroom was a concern. There was no toilet tissue in the stall that I used for there to be bathrooms closed and have a few open there shouldn't have been anything for me to say.

It's a decent movie place if you just wanna catch a quick show. The service is friendly enough and the lines are not that long if you get in early enough. Would not recommend coming during opening night if you want timely service, but it gets the job done. The only thing that could make this place better is if they renovate their theaters, that's probably the worst part of the place. The seats are often old, sticky, and just dirty. I'm sure if they put in new seats or even recliners it would spruce up the place a bit.

I was there with my friend, our children and their friends. We had thevkids get in line and then went up to purchase tickets. The security officer for no reason decided to single out my daughter and two of their friends. When I addressed him about speaking to them when I was standing right there he got an attitude. I quickly told him that if he wanted to know something there were two adults he could talk to. He then stated they looked like some kids he through out earlier. Which was bs because they were wearing masks. Fairlane has become a place that I now try to avoid because of the profiling that takes place so often there.

Updated drink machine, but still old seats, no recliners or leather even in the Imax theater. They finally put the butter in squeezable containers at the counter instead of 50 ft away where you used to have butter on the top, but not in the middle or bottom.

My daughter took me for my birthday. She ordered tickets online but realized we wouldn't get there on time. She tried to get her money back online this was 2 minutes after purchasing and had trouble getting her money back. When we got to the theater my daughter explained that she wanted to exchange the tickets for a different time. The lady told her time expired and she would need to purchase new tickets. AMC what type of policy is this? We won't be back.

Real3D is pretty good. Old standard seats seem very uncomfortable since I've gotten used to the premium seats at other theaters. Volume was always TOO LOUD and I like gut thumping bass!

I’ve been going here for over 10 years, taking my kids and whatnot. So it’s hard to understand why this place is still so dirty on the weekend. I understand kids are usually there on those days but that should mean increased staffing or changes to protocol to handle this issue. I’m able to watch my movie so other than that i really don’t care about much else, i just hate stepping in old popcorn and drinks that haven’t been cleaned up

I went to this theater last week, after more that a year and half. It was not a pleasant visit at all. The walkway smelled very unpleasant. Inside the theater, the floor was sticky.

The movie was fine. Everything dealing with playing the movie was fine. The only problem is the amount of staff. There was a low count. The timing was really slow getting snacks before the movie. I missed a small part of the beginning because I had to wait a long time in a slow line because of a few staff.

The most disgusting theater I've been in. The dollar show theater is better maintained. Food was disgusting. The drink dispensers were dirty,The bathrooms stunk and had trash and overflowing toilets. I rather have peed my pants than used their bathroom. The theater itself was disgusting. The most uncomfortable chairs. This location use to be desirable and a "treat" to go to. I am truly amazed they're still open and havent been condemned. My daughter is still trying to figure out why mommy and daddy said this was the nicest theater when they were kids.

Bought Tix online, v so VERY easy in. Clean and great service at concession. We saw Star Wars in IMAX 3D. Sound and picture were great, but the seat rows were really close together for a tall person, and they do not recline.

Hands down the most digusting theater I've ever been to in my life. This place is a joke, and whoever manages this theatre needs to be fired. You will not be in business for very long. We walked in slushy was spilled all over our aisle. There was nacho cheese on the floor I stepped in, trash EVERYWHERE. Empty boxes, containers and, lids. This place is absolutely disgusting. I tried calling management but to no surprise nobody answered. This is the closest theater to my house. But, believe me I'll be driving the extra 5-10 miles to go elsewhere. Super unprofessional to not answer all these horrible reviews by the way. Not a good way to keep your business running and customers returning. What a joke.

The sound quality in the theater was terrible. There was a buzzing sound each time the characters spoke. It sounded like the speakers went bad a long time ago. The theater also smelled like sweat and body odor. The only reason I'm rating 2 stars instead of 1 is because the staff was very nice and the food was good and was ready in just a couple of minutes. I was very disappointed about the sound quality and smell in the theater because clearly these were things that should have been noticed and corrected a while ago.

I understand that there is a staff shortage right now, so I understand waiting a bit to get served, however, this theater was dirty and disgusting in many areas. The mats in front of the pop machines were sticking to my feet. The bathroom and fixtures were filthy. The floors in the theatre were also sticky. If I was the owner of this theater, I would come in and clean it myself to help out the staff during a shortage.

A multi screen theatre with stalls for snacks and soda....Ticke prices are reasonable, varying from7$ to 13$ if u book at the theatre. Overall good experience and is not crowded at all so you can watch movie in peace.

One of the employees was such an angel. I don’t know her name but one of her arms was tattooed and she had blonde hair. She helped my friend who had fainted at the line to get snacks and constantly checked up on her to make sure she was alright. She gave her ice and everything, and it was really helpful because my other friend and I didn’t know what to do and we were really scared. She’s so modest too—I offered her $20 for helping us and she gave it back to me saying she knew how it felt and she just wanted to help and that was it. That nice lady needs a raise or something because she really deserves it.

This almost ruined Spiderman for me. Only one selection for drinks that day. It was filthy. The seats were uncomfortable. I went for the 3d, but I should have went to any Emagine available. I could have at least had a beer with my movie. I grew up with movies at fairlane, hate to say I'll never go back. Chances are I won't though.

The pop and slush machines didn't work. It smells like urine in the theatre. The chairs were filthy, front and back; some were ripped. At least the movie was good. The movie theatre is Horrible!!!

I'm giving this review 5 stars because I'm happy theatres are back in Michigan. Its been almost two months since AMC announced their reopening so it feels good to return to the big screen. All the standard safety precautions are in place. My only gripe is the slimmed down concessions - no hot foods at the moment which killed my buzz cause i love my cheese sticks. Oh and no refills on pops or popcorn so thats also an issue but just eat good beforehand and you'll be fine.

Left the movie 15 min after it started. The first red flag..."security" didn't even look at the tickets to on our phone, just waved us in. The concession line was wrapped around the lobby, ehh we just went without snacks. Then we get to the theatre... There was a group of about 10-15 teenagers just running around LITERALLY running around hopping over seats, in and out of the theatre, up and down the stairs, charging their phones right next to us on the stairs. It was ridiculous, so we left. I'm sure more people walked out after we did. We tried to go to "guest services" for a refund and ended up just leaving without ever getting to speak with any manager. Avoid this place at all costs and unless this is the type of experience you're looking for. We ended up driving 40 min to royal oak to see the movie and had a much better experience. I honestly can't believe anyone rating this place over 2 stars, maybe it's nicer during the day but I highly doubt it.

This theater went to s*** ! This entire theater is dirty! Nothing works!The floors are sticky and we paid $16 to get 1 large popcorn and a coke... popcorn was old and I got a Coke that tasted like Sprite and water. I overheard an upset customer complaining that someone was smoking in the Theater! Really! Anyways, trying to find a seat was difficult since each one was dirty. Terrible experience

I haven't been to this theater in 20 years. But a group of us wanted to see the new James Bond movie and it was playing near where we had dinner. Will never visit that theater again until they do a major clean up or remodeling. It was filthy and outdated. If it wasn't for the fact we had already purchased tickets on line, we would have turned around and left. AMC really needs to shut it down or invest some money and fix it up.

This is by far the grossest movie theater I have ever stepped in. It was never the nicest theater, but it was manageable. I went there recently and did not even want to sit down because the seats were so nasty. There were spiders dropping from the ceiling and landing on the patrons heads during the movie (no exaggeration). On top of it the employees are some of the rudest people I've ever had to deal with. If I could give zero stars I would.

Went to the 2:45pm slot to see the incredibles. The theatre was beyond filthy!! There was spilled cheese on the chairs. There was a yellow cone in front of another seat. Trash was all over the floor. I thought they swept between shows. I complained to management. I used to bring my children here every week. I will not return. Who in the heck wants to sit around filth. I felt bad each time a group came to sit and then realized the seats were dirty. FILTHY!

I had a great time, I got great seats and went with my family to see Frozen 2. The theater was clean and comfortable, and this theater is always showing the newest movies at a fair price. I didn't give it 5 stars because we tried to get regular coke from the pop machine and 3 out of 4 didn't have it, so it was a little bit of an inconvenience. Also, the pop corn is super expensive. But I still would reccomend this theater.

Seems like they're trying to improve their cleanliness, but this place can be nasty and disgusting a lot of the times, with sticky floors. The architect is nice, but it's dated, so I think it's time for an overhaul and if you guys are gonna hold popcorn the way you do , under a heated lamp would be nice. I think warm popcorn would get y'all more brownie points.
