Filthy, unprepared and overpriced. We waited 3 weeks for tickets for our family of 6 to see this movie and on New Year's day, a Saturday afternoon (4:30 pm) to be OUT OF TWIZZLERS?!?! Do better Island 16. My family and I will be waiting to stream the next blockbuster and watch from the clean and affordable convenience of home where the recliners aren't broken, the bathroom has soap, and the there's plenty of our favorite movie candy.

First time here and when you enter your eyes open up on the large space. I actually gasped when I saw the bar to my right " A drink while I watch a movie? AWESOME" I Think I also did a happy dance. We went to see Shang Chi and the legend of 10 rings in 4D and it was awesome, pricey but awesome. The only down side were the rest rooms, they were dirty and my husband said the same of the Men's room. Parking is great and staff very friendly. I will definitely come back.

Good food and even has a bar (if youre into that before a movie). seats and stuff were comfortable but i didn't like the arm rests they have for reclining seats. otherwise a great experience. FINAL VERDICT: would go again

One of the nicest theaters I've ever been to. I'm from out of town and was so excited to find a theater that had very nice, comfortable, reclining seats. It was also extremely clean and the staff was very nice. Food is exactly what you would expect for a movie theater so it tasted great to me.

Very clean and comfortable atmosphere. Great sound, great picture in roomy seats. Friendly staff and service at the snack bar. Good place to go out with the family.

Excellent theater. The seats were reclining chairs that were so comfortable and spacious. We saw a long movie and we're not uncomfortable for even a minute. The prices for tickets aren't too bad. The food prices are high but what theater isn't.

Been going to this theater for years now without issues, though I've got to start questioning how sanitary the environment is as of late, particularly where they're serving food/drinks. Still had some leftover popcorn and soda after the film, so I figured I'd take it with me. On the drive home, I noticed something at the bottom of my cup while I was finishing the drink. Turns out, there was a penny just casually sitting at the bottom of the cup. The penny was on heads so hey, must be my lucky day! All jokes aside, how does this even happen? Was the penny in there while this cup was stacked with the others? What was it doing there? Better yet, what if this coin was floating in the soda fountain? Can you imagine what else might be in there? I'm sure I'll be going back to this theater, but I'll just have to remember to sneak in my own snacks and drinks from now on.

Always a good time at Island 16. Clean and big. Staff is great, the movies are comfortable and not crowded. No worries with COVID-19. I wore a mask anyway. Go out to the movies, it's still a great time!

Monday night's aren't as crowded at this theater as it is from Thursday on into the weekend. Even with certain COVID restrictions you can reserve seating/tickets in advance (I use Fandango) and pick a seat off the cinema chart for the movie you're going to see. Concession stand is open for popcorn/candy/sodas etc. Be sure to get the Starpass card for points/discounts off movies/concession items/special viewings too.

Went tonight, woman at the bar wasn't enthused to serve me. Got into theater 12. NO AIR. We were dying inside. Absolutely zero air flow. It ruined the entire movie. It smells like old wet carpet and the lack of air doesn't help. Not going back. This place fell off hard!

3 stars because the theater smelt like a basement (mold) and was dirty. Sad sight to see since I've had a lot of memories at this theater growing up. The past two years definitely had a lasting impact on them.

The staff was helpful at the help desk. The bathrooms were messy ( clutter, water (?) On the floors under toilets and urinals ) general appearance of lobby was untidy. Lights were left on during the showing of the movie. Considering how light the crowd was I was a bit surprised Even more surprised when I came out of the theater and there were 4 employees just sitting in the hallway texting on their phones. All and all, my first time back to a theater after the pandemic was quite underwhelming.

As of March 2018 I am rating this movie theater a 4 (wish I could give it 4.5) because it is really one o the better theaters out on the Island. You have several other options when in Suffolk but Island 16 definitely is in the top 3. They have a huge waiting area/lobby, with video games and arcades, they also have an eating area/bar, and of coarse your confectionary stand which sells popcorn, hotdogs, nachos, slushies, soft drinks and even has a Starbucks and a Ben & Jerry's. Prices are regular compared to competitors and theater is in a centralized location right off of the LIE 495 exit 62. Last but not least they also have upgraded their seats to the reclining chairs which is super comfy and feels like your in your own private living room. It took them a while to upgrade their seats but I'm glad they did, otherwise I would have kept going to Ronkonkoma Regal Cinemas. Overall experience was excellent but the wait times were a bit excessive. First you wait 20 mins for tickets and then another 20 mins for popcorn I missed the previews and the first 6 mins of my movie. This place is fantastic ????.

This theater is worth spending more if you want a better cinematic experience. I really like their leather reclining seats and the sound systems are phenomenal. Guests are more spaced out, and the place is spotless. The walkways to access the seats are nice and spacious too. It's an at least 30 minutes drive on a good day without traffic, and yes you do spend more compared to your local theater but it's worth it. One thing I didn't like was if you Google the tickets for a screening, the prices were not accurate. We went to see Shang-Chi thinking it'd be the matinee price (~$12) but we found out it was for the X-Room which is a bigger screen with better quality making it more expensive. So call them in advance so you don't run into any surprises with the pricing, we had to wait for another hour to watch the next screening but it was still worth it.

My husband took my sons and their friends to see a movie and was racial profile by two employees that was working at the time. Movie time was 635pm fast and furious on 7/10/2021, they was told only front row seats was available and when ask about all the other movies that was playing, they told him only front row seat is available he should’ve ordered online to get better seats. It was other customers that was there that stated seats was available. This is unacceptable and something has to be done. You mean to tell me everything movie that was playing they only had front row seats available. Impossible.

Favorite movie theatre to go to in the area. Usually can get a decent discount from atom tickets and/or T-Mobile Tuesdays. Theatre is a bit outdated but for the most part it’s clean and staff is usually friendly.

It's always nice here. Great parking and tons of food options. The stadium seating is great and there's a small arcade. Use a gps to get here if you are unfamiliar with the odd entrences.

Used to love this place. I’ve seen a lot of movies here, and have a lot of memories. Now, they are supporting segregation based on medical choice. Will be taking my business elsewhere. Maybe one day I’ll be able to visit again. Only gave 1 star because it wouldn’t let me leave a review with 0 stars.

Sound quality isn't the best, a few lights kept flickering the entire movie. We were in row f and it felt like the volume could be turned up a few notches. It was very quiet tbh.

The place is dead, I wasn't sure if they were actually open or not. Went to the restaurant area twice to get service and no one came to see if I needed help. Also, I remember they use to bring the trolley into the movie theater to see if you want to buy something from there, but we didn't get that service either. It really felt like a ghost town. I went there for the service I didn't receive which is very disappointing because I took a few people I wanted to show them what Island 26 is known for. But I guess they don't have those commodity anymore. So sad and disappointing.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Saturday night 7pm a total of 3 employees working 2 concession stands. The management is either cheap stupid or both . Never wasting my money here again update: been on line 20 minutes am missing only movie I've wanted to see in years because of the poor management. I hope you go under island 16. Update 2: 30 minutes on line called to speak with manager employees said they're doing their best and the management didn't care to speak with me.finally a ticket checker saw me and asked what was wrong ,got a manager who helped me only 45 minutes to get 1 popcorn and reeses pieces

They advised food but not till after 5pm . Seats dont recline F1 , drinks r flat, popcorn top is good but bottom is old n gross. Ill go to other theaters NOT Island 16,

First movie since the pandemic started. I saw 007 No time to die. Best Bond movie ever. Theatre clean and comfortable. Love the whole experience.

Haven't been here in a bit. Last time, there was no subwoofers and they told me that's how it was... Demanded my money back and reluctantly they gave it back. Been goin to regal since ... This time I was in the 4d for spiderman and was like half way through the movie before I realized they never turned off the high hat lighting down both sides. Whole move w the glasses on I'm like dam this screens dark... Back to regal or at home

So let me tell everyone about the experience my daughter and her boyfriend had at island 16 last night...they went to see the Halloween movie which let out around midnight. When walking to the car her boyfriend realized his keys must have dropped out of his pocket into the seat in the theater. They walked back to find the doors locked and they could see the security guards chatting inside. They ignored them knocking on the doors for a while, finally one of them cracked the door open. They explained about the problem. At first the guard wouldn't let them in. He told my daughters boyfriend that he should call an Uber! My daughters boyfriend replied that he'd rather just check the theater seat since his car was right outside. Then this ridiculous situation gets dangerous. They only let the boyfriend in and locked my daughter outside alone! I attempted to call the manager to advise of this and couldn't even find a telephone number to call the theater directly. Parents beware of the incompetent, inconsiderate, terrible security this theater employs.

Bought movie tkts on line. Didn't have to wait on the ticket line. Went straight to the guy that checks the tkts. Quick and easy. Seats reclined and were big and comfy.

The 4D experience for spider man was terrible - lights on for the entire movie even after complaining and sound quality was garbage, no bass and hard to hear at points... not worth the price, wait for it to come out on streaming.

no wonder movie theaters are on the way out. went to see Spiderman opening weekend, theater was not cleaned, spilled soda, popcorn everywhere. the screen was dirty and ripped. garbage was overfilling before the showing started.

It is really great to see theaters back in motion. This theater has everything, food and drinks, even alcohol! Definitely recommend it.
