I contacted End of the Roll to have the first floor wood flooring and second floor carpeting replaced. It was not a cheap job. I worked with Bob as our consultant. Very professional and knowledgeable. He personally came to measure all the flooring. We received the quotes as promised and the cost was in line with what we expected. Well, actually it was significantly lower than the quote from Home Depot. But same quality material. I indicated that quality was a major point with me as we have a very nice house and I wanted to ensure that the value was enhanced by the work that we did. Bob scheduled Jeremy to do the installation with his team. I was called away just prior to the installation by a family emergency. Jeremy and his team really too good care of my wife and mother-in-law. They were exceptional. Went above the call of duty and I am immensely grateful to them. They also did a fantastic job. We are very happy with the work done by End of the Roll and are fans. Permanent. We happily recommend EOTR to anyone that want to do a project like this.

I find the price is reasonable than in any other store that I checked around and their salesman are helpful and friendly but their installer who installed has not done it satisfactory. It is squeaking when you walk on it and did not clean carpet debris before he left. He also installed the baseboard very poorly.

They don’t know what they are doing. I wasted my money and time. I got new floor for my livingroom. Pretty much ruined my floor of the house. It is worse than previous floor that have been used for many years. I shouldn’t have paid the full amount of money. They didn’t work propertly and never come back to fix it becasue they got the money. And they didn’t care. I have to find other company to get new floor again. I wasted $5,000. Please don’t let them work. You will waste your money. And the worker is really rude. Ignore customers because customers don’t know how to do the work that they know. Don’t regret by choosing them. About a week ago I went into look at AstroTurf and outdoor carpeting and the store clerk found me a 12' x 13' piece rolled and taped up with no price on it. It was a foot longer than I wanted but he said I could have it for $150, he even said he could fold it in half and put it in my truck. I said I would be back later. I pressure washed my deck last weekend and went in today to purchase it and was pleased it was still there. I didn't see the male clerk that had given me the quote but when I told the gentleman I was dealing with I was quoted $150 he doubted me and asked me who gave me the price. I said he wasn't there but it may have been the guy on the end. So he comes over and says no it's $209. Then he says who was it and I said he's not here now. He said well if he quoted that then he has to pay the difference. Really?? They both made me feel like I was trying to swindle them. I was being 100% honest with them and I felt horrible and just turned around and walked out the door for the last time. I will never enter that store again.

The guy never told us had to be paid in full before installation. On bill it says materials must be paid for. Told us 3 days b4 and say pay it or its cancelled. Carpet was supposed to match but is blue not green which isnt horrible but would have appreciated being told b4. Installer showed up just after 8am when he was told 9am because i dont live there. Was told he could start at 8 the following day but he showed up before 7am. He did do a good job installing it!

My order took 3 weeks longer than Iwas told at the sale. There were no apologies, no one seemed to care that we were inconvenienced. As a result, we had to lay the flooring after our new kitchen was installed, because it was so late. It was a royal pain in the butt and took much longer to do the job. We bought some nice plank looking flooring and they cut it so the planks were cut horizontal, we thought that was so strange. We wont shop here again as the customer service wasnt great and we were really inconvenienced by all of the above.

I purchased carpet and underlay for a recarpetting project at home. The selection was great, and we absolutely love the quality of the carpet. The price was not amazing, but on par with competitors. We went with end of the roll because they had product in stock and could help us on short notice. I had a wonderful salesperson help me with product selection and ordering. As my experiences with the team at End of the Roll so far had been excellent, I was chipper and upbeat going in to pick up my order. When I got there I also asked for the tack strips that the salesman had promised me with my order, and the man getting my carpet immediately insulted his own coworker (the salesman), saying he didn't know what he was talking about - they are all out of tack strips (... They weren't). That was uncomfortable... He then proceeded to be very short and rude with me, which was unpleasant, but whatever... I figured he was having a bad day... Then as he and I loaded the carpet and tack strips that he reluctantly provided into my vehicle, I politely noted that he had not provided enough for my job. This clearly disgruntled employee then had the nerve to mock me (verbally and making a face at me!). I was appalled and insulted, but more annoyingly, also left with insufficient tack strips for me job... The guy literally held back 3$ for of product on my $650 order, which made me have to drive across town and buy more from Home Depot! I tried to complain to the manager but they were unavailable, so here I am. I hope the disgruntled man gets some help, so he can stop chasing customers away. I wish I could say the awesome sales experience outweighed the nasty experience during pickup, but the guy providing my order was horrible to me for no reason at all, and was so petty about the tack strips which was a HUGE inconvenience and added cost to me. I personally will not shop there again if I don't have to.

Went into the store to buy carpet and install. Found the carpet and underpayment. Overall great till now. Quote was given, about ready to pay. 35% down payment was a bit steep. The sales person then demanded two days PRIOR to the install the entire amount be paid. I requested within 2 days after to ensure quality of install. They refused. I expressed concern given previous experience I have had with some contractors not fulfilling contracts. A hard no was provided. Unwilling to negotiate, said their “reputation” wouldn’t allow anything other. I asked if so then what would be the problem to 2 days prior. No response. Asked him to speak to the manager he said he would for a 10% only hold. Ie, $5000 total bill, $500 hold until complete. I expressed concern this wouldn’t even be enough to bring another contractor in to fix any perspective problems. Refused. Wouldn’t negotiate a reasonable situation to support both parties. Wouldn’t even bring this up with the manager to ensure it was accurate. Overall they lost out on money and now I’m stuck at sq 1 finding another company I can trust. I would be VERY cautious of this company. From my experience anyone demanding payment up front is not a company that is trust worthy and you will get screwed over.

While I didn't see anything like what I was looking for, the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had an excellent tour of the wood, laminate, and vinyl flooring. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. The space is not too large and easy to navigate, even with a stroller. They also have carpet and area rugs. The entrance has a ramp it is wheelchair accessible and good for strollers.

After some not-so-pleasant experiences at two other flooring stores, I went into End of the Roll slightly frustrated and completely unsure of what I wanted. Jim greated me at the door and was so incredibly helpful, I was blown away. After taking some samples home at Jim's recommendation, I finally decided on a product and Jim was able to order what I needed from another store. I am so pleased with the customer service I've received from End of the Roll and am excited to pick up my flooring this week :) Update: We have now gone back to End of the Roll and have purchased the flooring for our entire house over the years - from carpet to vinyl plank flooring. I had a longer than expected experience at End of the Roll...2 stars are lost to the fact that the tile I ordered is not what it looked like on the sample board...at all...as in I hated it....So why not 3 stars? Because the return and reorder of another tile was exceptional, the fourth star is warranted. The issue with the first tile is I was expected all white as that’s what was on the board and the tile received was gradient in colour, but not in a good way....the method used made the tile look cheap as..........it looked as though the shading was done with an old school dot matrix printer and not subtle in the least....I am very happy with the tile I have finally received and the overall service.

Bad outcome. Sometimes jobs go badly and this did just that. Ordered a loose lay vinyl floor and professional installation. Mark asked to delay install by a few days to enable him to get a 3 person team on the job to handle the 34 foot rerolled flooring he said would be the way to handle the job we assumed. Agreed to the delay. Mark had done the install estimate. Only 2 showed and installed differently than what Mark had described, when finished we had bubbles and creases plus large gaps between the flooring and the walls in some places. Told that the bubbles would flatten and disappear in a month or so. 3 months later still had bubbles and in desperation we agreed to allow installer to glue down the area as no other fix was offered after several call backs trying to fix the problem. No help on the poor cutting. Best answer would have been to recognize that the flooring had been damaged during install and start over but that did not happen. Staff has been pleasant to deal with but we did not get what we paid for at the end of this.

This is my third time dealing with End of The Roll and although some of the staff has changed my experience then and now was excellent. I found all the staff friendly but Dan, was great. He was extremely helpful within my budget and we came up with a beautiful laminate floor that I have to touch to believe it is not wood! It is durable which I needed as was going through the kitchen into the living room. Sokol, the installer did an incredible job and my stairs look amazing. They were not a straight forward easy install but you'd never know it! I am extremely satisfied and will definitely use them again.

A bad tenant caused excessive damage to the carpet in our rental and we needed to arrange replacement fast so we didn't have too much down time. I called around to a few different carpet companies, none or which could help me within the time frame I needed. But End of the Roll could make it happen. Bob was professional, helpful, and eased my stress during the entire process. He was extremely helpful with picking out an appropriate carpet. He was mindful of my price range and was able to answer all of my questions. The communication was exceptional from both Bob and the installer Wade. End of the Roll also made the payment process super easy with online payment options. And the in stock selection was more than ample to allow choices. In the end, I had new carpet selected, measured, AND installed in 2 weeks!!! I will definitely use then again for my next carpet needs.

Installation from them went great and was told during the sales process that I would be able to return an unused full box. Went back a couple weeks later with it and was told by a different sales person it had to be unopened and aggressively told me it had to be unopened. I forgot about it. Now there’s a small hole left where they worked around this cord in the middle of my new hallway cupboard. So be sure to be on top of such things, as my installers did not ask, just assumed I’d want that cord sticking out of the middle of my floor. We had a great experience with Santiago as our salesman, who was responsive, efficient and helpful. The selection was good and well presented so we could decide quickly. The installers were, as Santiago described, artists. Both rooms were completed in one day, as promised, their work refinishing the hatch was precise and clean, and the flooring tradesmen had positive feedback from the other trades on the site, citing professionalism and pleasantness. We were glad to give them direction at the start of the day, went away and had no worries when we saw their results by the end of the day. It would have been nice if the old carpet had been removed, as the flooring guys said, and they were not equipped with a router, which might have come in handy for the hatch.

I had a wonderful experience. I wanted my stairs carpeted in a jazzy colorful pattern like a movie theatre and EOTR was the only flooring store that had a book of such carpet. Sales person went the extra mile, made a house visit to double check measurements (as I wanted the pattern to line up over 2 landings and 2 sets of stairs), ordered carpet and set up installation. Installer was amazing. Turns out the carpet wasn't really made for stairs but he and his partner worked very hard and made it happen. My heart was set on it and it turned out exactly as I'd hoped. Had a great experience there. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Details: I have been working on floor installation, provided by a different store. I was told that it is their best selling product, and they will not have shortages of them. So I purchased smaller amounts at a time , enough to finish one room at a time. When I only had 1 room left, the manufacturer stopped production, and I was left in a jam. All other stores were not helpful in locating the same product, nor anything with similar colour. Bob from end of the roll contacted all other branches in search for the same product. When that didn't work, he recommended a different product that was very close to the product I was using. Now I can finish my project.

Everything was good until there was a problem. I paid extra to get the 10-year warranty with the floor. A few months after the floor was installed, I found some wear & tear. After I called, the salesman did come back to assess the floor. He said that he would ask his boss for options to fix them but I never heard back from him since then.

Everything was going great until 2 days after installation. Asked and paid for a medium range berber carpet that would stand up to our young kids. In 2 days there were two snags that ripped up 1 inch long patches on the carpet. Also the seam was installed directly in the most high traffic place in the room rather than against the back wall behind the couches where it was agreed it would be placed. The carpet along the seam was starting to pull up within a week. The salesman did come back promptly to assess the issues but stated it wasn't really their problem or the manufacturers. The salesman did say he would ask his boss if they could fix it but we never heard back from them. Paid around $5 sq ft. which isn't a lot but isn't the cheapest either and should probably be more durable than this.

The salesman was helping me but left in the middle of our completing the sale to talk to another customer that was buying more carpet and obviously was going to spend more money than I was. Then I had to ask another salesperson to help and he was hesitant and did not want to help me and referred me to another guy. I found out later they work on commission, so that explains why I had trouble getting a basic level of customer service. It took a very long time to simply pay for my carpet as I was “small potatoes”. When we were leaving the original guy promised to phone me when the carpet was ready the following week. As it turned out, he called me AFTER we had already picked up the carpet to take home. I paid almost $150 for a leftover scrap to use as a runner, which was way too expensive. Never again.

I bought Mannington vinyl floor from this store in July. This store's price was a little bit higher than other stores, but I was promised to get it sooner while other stores didn't make such a promise. It was delivered later than promised, it was delivered to the wrong address and it was defective. It had dark stains and lines in several places. I tried to clean it but the stains won't go away. I took photos and sent them to the store. Then they said the factory needs more photos. I took more photos and sent. Since I have a deadline for the renovation and my worker could not wait for another week for me to re order it, I asked the store if they can give me a discount and my worker can try to avoid the bad part of the sheet since I ordered more than I need. The store said I have to wait until the factory response. It has been 2 months, no one has got back to me. Nothing. I paid End of The Roll for a good quality product and I don't understand why I have to deal with the factory. Very disappointing! Both Mannington and End of The Roll are not trustworthy businesses.
