Was here last night seeing Aquaman. Service at both counter to get ticket and snacks were great. I personally don't like the self serve as this is putting someone out of a job. I would rather have the one on one as a machine can't answer my questions. Washrooms could of been better.

Not busy in the daytime around the first movie of the day. Staff is super nice and friendly. Tickets are encouraged to be purchased online/app, however they can still be purchased at the consession stand. That's how i purchased my tickets that day. The young lady was super helpful and patient. I noticed cleaning after I left for the movie and afterwards while we played at the arcade. There are many games at the arcade for all ages and sizes. Didn't see any cleaning for the hour we were playing though. Overall, really pleasant experience.

One of the most busiest Ceneplex theatre in town. Super hero fans like this place for its amazing interior and architectural design. There is a nice arcade section for kids to play games and hangout. Big place to spend some quality time with family or loved ones. Parking availability is really tight in weekends! Tuesday is a better option to watch movies in discounted price.

An excellent place to watch Hollywood, Bollywood and Filipino movies in Tagalog with subtitles in English! One might even get lucky trying to pick up a SEXY PINAY! The popcorn for the matinee show may NOT always be fresh! Beware! Lots of stores with lots of good deals! Go as early as possible, or else parking on weekends may be very scarce! Very crowded everyday! Excellent Food Court with varied cuisine and service. A pleasant experience! Enjoy your visit here! The seats are very comfortable. Cheers Mates! Great VFM! (Value For Money). Amazing theatre, amazing staff, all screen types available except for IMAX. Lots of parking, can enter theatre from the mall itself. Theatre does play foreign language films; all except for Tamil films due to prior incidents. Mega coke fountain drinks available with a multitude of flavors. Theatre does play movies between 11 and 12 pm. This theatre has been around for over 27 years and has been modernized with the times. This location also has video games, Pizza Pizza, and other food varities.

I like the STC mall however the cineplex feels old and run down. Came here with my wife and some friends, bought a movie ticket and the theater seats are stained and dirty. The floors have this weird stickiness to it as you walk on it. Honestly, it gives me the creeps. But it's not totally bad. Popcorn lines aren't super long and the washrooms are clean.

Many people don't go to this theatre to actually watch the movie. They go to sit in a dark room and make running commentaries about what's on screen or play with their phones. The layout is nice, the seating is typical Cineplex, and the Coca Cola Freestyle machine is a bonus, but I do everything I can to avoid going to this theatre.

My kids love this place. Playing the arcade games and looking at the stuff hanging from the ceiling. Kids parties are pretty cool here too. Many theaters yo choose from...regular viewing as well as AVX and 3D theatres. On opening nights of movies can get super packed inside so pack patience too. Black Panther was crazy opening night and we had to wait a week till it was less packed. Avengers Infinity War should be the same so we will wait patiently lol...

We had two free movie passes, and we wanted to see the new Beauty and the Beast movie. The passes only entitled us to regular admission, no 3D or ultra or any of those other frivolous extras they offer at marked up price. We just wanted to see a regular showing, but of course they only had two of those playing at times that didn't work for us and about 14 premium price showings. I feel cheated when they forcefully up-sell you these special features by limiting the amount of regular showings. We ended up paying about $5 extra to see the movie in their "ultra DVX" theatre which boasted reserve seating, a slightly larger screen, and louder speakers. It seemed like just a regular theatre with an ultra expensive price to me. In every other theatre I've been to that had reserve seating, it all was covered under general admission. If there are other movie theatres near you, I'd encourage you to try them first.

My favourite place to watch a movie with friends or family. Been coming here since I was a child and although to some old decor may bring a bad taste to their mouth, for me it brings back memories. To be quite honest the decors don’t look outdated and bring a fun atmosphere vibe. Love the updated arcade, looks amazing.

Compared to most theatres, this location's always a fave! Best part is definitely the drink machine! Not sure why all Cineplex's don't have one yet but it's always fun to mix the different types and try new drinks! Another perk is the auditorium layout! The rows are spread apart well so you never have the problem of a tall person sitting in front of you and blocking your view. Other than that, it's a pretty standard theatre and a worthwhile location to go to.

Great cinema. It's pretty big and connected to the mall. Food/lounge area is spacious and you can also find an arcade there. Prices aren't too bad. Most of the big blockbuster movies are shown here. Home to Ultra AVX, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Surround Sound and D-Box theatres.

Can't really complain much about theatres. It's already given that food will be overpriced but you could always eat elsewhere such as the food court. Only thing that doesn't make much sense is the no refills for soft drinks policy. Other than that, Tuesdays is great here.

I found this Cineplex location to be over crowded, since it is located inside Scarborough Town Centre. A lot of foot traffic at this mall but extremely convenient. Rain or shine it is easily accessible. Plenty of parking space outside. The TTC Station (RT/Buses) and Go Bus Station has connecting tunnels to the mall. Food prices as to all locations I find overpriced. Quality of food and customer experience is not always first. My first hand interactions at the concession stand differ on the day and differ on the time of the day. Understandable that I found when I came in during peek hours quality of service is poor. When it is slow, I found staff are more customer service oriented.

I have been going to this Cineplex for quite a long time now, and I must say there’s a lot of improvements. Used to be a dirty, outdated place, now with the renovations and the addition of AVX they’ve come a long way. They’ve also increased their service speed so the wait times are not as long. The ticket machines also helps tremendously with saving time. Not quite like VIP theatres, but I would recommend for a good movie :)

I've been to this cinema several times and i didn't like it very much because the salon was overcrowded and it was hot, stuffed and they dont give break during the movie , today the movie lasted almost 3 hours and i wanted to go to the washroom felt so uncomfortable couldn't wait when the movie finish . They should give 5 minutes break at least because people want to relieve themselves .

Movie theatre located in Scarborough town centre. There's a lot of parking and food option available although you aren't allowed to take outside food in the theatre. It can be very busy during the weekend. All the latest movies are always up and sometimes they even offer Indian and south Indian movies. Get tickets ahead because there's not a lot of people at the ticket counter so if you don't want to miss the trailers or timeplay I suggest buy your tickets on the phone.

A great place to watch movies. It's very important to go here Monday to Thursday between 9am to 3pm so you can avoid annoying/loud children. Especially if you're watching a horror movie.

I watched Spiderman nwh and it was fantastic. The avx theatre does bring movies to life with the amazing audio and visuals. However what bothered me is the loud as hell crunching of popcorn. I know that this is out of the cinemas control but I thought that it was prohibited to eat to prevent covid or something.

Well yesterday I went to watch Annabelle. I always liked this place but yesterday one incident happened. There were couple teenagers were sitting behind my row and they were annoying. I asked them to be quiet so people can watch the movie then they started making fun of me and being more annoying. Then I went down and made a complain. Security came and warned but they kept on doing so other people complain too but security came and looked but didn't revoke them from there. That was disrespectful and disappointing. I understand they are teenagers but they needed to learn lesson so they don't repeat it.

I hadn't been to this movie location in years and I didn't realize they don't have the lazy boy style reclining seats. The seats were REALLY uncomfortable. They kind of rocked back and forth and leaned back just far enough for it to hurt your back. I couldn't get comfortable the entire movie. I wouldn't return for that reason. Recliner seats is where it's at now! Lol

Sad, sad, sad. In front of the cash station is just dirty, while the managers walk around not paying attention. The beverage dispenser and condiment station had been neglected for most of the day. Just dirty. Luckily, we were served by the one cheerful cashier whom was quick.

It is a good place to have a movie and experience inside thus also great. The experience in the UMAX 3D cinema is very great because of its quality and the audios system. But there is no servies for the Indian movies that was the flaw of this place. If you want see a movie of punjabi cinema or bollywood you didn't get at there but there is servies for the hollywood movies that you can enjoy a lot there.

Seen many movies here over the last 17 years. They have large theatres for the new releases as well as smaller ones for the month old movies. Attached to Scarborough Town Centre so it's very convenient to go shopping/dining before or after a movie. Lots of stores to choose from. Large newly renovated food court.

Nothing fancy here really compared to other Cineplex. They have quite a bit of self serve ticket kiosks. There is an entrance outside and from the mall too. There was a really nice and high energy ticket guy who took my ticket and he seemed to know patrons who which was really refreshing.

With covid, you choose on the lil kiosk pc screen where to sit, excellent idea. Was really good to feel normal again going to the movies . Tip : ask for fresh pop corn with butter threshing threwout , was soooo good. ????

Shout-out to Jerimiah Clarke who had to deal with two of the most awful customers yesterday. Not only did they create a bit of a line up at the Outtakes - they were constantly changing their order and making sure that they were annoying the rest of the customers in line. This guy handled them like a champ and with a smile. Kuddos to you for having that level of patience and professionalism!

Seats aren't as comfortable as the seats at the VIP, but alright if you don't want resevered seats. We had our chairs all the way back and some kids came behind us and kicked the back of our seats the entire way through the movie.

My friends and I went to see crazy rich Asians at 10:15pm. We were the last ones in the theatre and after talking in the parking lot for 20 minutes I realized I had left my wallet in the cup holder beside me. When I tried to go back in the doors were locked so I waited until the next morning to call. When I called I was surprised by the lack of customer service from the gentleman on the phone. He told me that my wallet was not in the lost and found. Which means the employees that cleaned the room after the movie failed to report it and do their jobs. For such a large company I am very unimpressed about the way this was handled and will not be returning to this location. #ScarboroughAtIt’sFinest

Convenient and had several theatres. We saw the Star Wars movie in 3D in comfy seats that tilted. The person who collected our tickets was a hoot...he greeted us in an amusing way coming in and when we went out for refreshments!

Twice in a row I have gone and not been able to see the movie without some type of interruption, when we went to see Avengers Infinity war the last 20 minutes the picture cut out and they had to rewind the movie and we were given a free voucher which I used at the same theatre to see Deadpool 2 and this time halfway through the audio cut out and the picture kept going and after 25 minutes of waiting because ALL the other movies had the same problem they rewound the film and at about 30 minutes left the audio cut out AGAIN and they said they couldn’t rewind it again so they would fix the audio (which they did after most of the epic scene) and we could get a refund or watch the rest and we would get a voucher, some guy got so mad he punched his girlfriend (idk why he did it, they even gave him 3 vouchers, but he was PISSED) so i would say until this theatre buys a BACK UP GENERATOR and starts using UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SOURCE I wouldn’t recommend comming here if you are going to see a movie you REALLY want to enjoy, only go if you are just going to see something that is on and you don’t really care, I mean free vouchers are cool but I go to the movies to see the movie I payed for I should get the service I bought

Went to see a movie late evening. Outdoor Temperature was plus 30C. When I got in the Aud3 noticed it was even warmer. No AC on during entire stay. It was a very bad experience.

Though they need to sort out their availability of cotton candy. they are always out of it every time I go! Their 4DX seats are very nice as well. My only complaint is that I wish they offered reclining seats!

I’ve always loved how they keep the older decor from many years ago. The staff are pretty chill, and the arcade has a decent selection of games. There has been quite a few changes since it first opened, but I feel like it still maintains that classic feel.

Decent layout and concession centre design. The seats in screen 2, and presumably other screens, are spring-loaded recliners which are a challenge to get comfortable in. You can't just push them into one position and enjoy moving around a little on it. Every little movement makes the seat move, too... So it doesn't really support you, it just sort of bounces around.

I have been coming to Scarborough Town Centre since I was a kid and I have seen this theatre go downhill very slowly in terms of its clientele. The theatre itself is great and I do not have any complaints about the cinemas or the food or the customer service. However, the last time I came back to watch a movie here the quality of viewer has more than diminished. I take my movie-watching seriously and do not like having it spoiled just like most other people who are paying to sit in a theatre. My complaints are generally with the level of rudeness, noise and un-ruly behaviour that the STC cinema attracts from some customers. My advice to those who want to act up while a movie in playing: leave. Do not come to a theatre in the first place if you want to act up and make noise while people pay money to watch a movie in peace. I know that these are my complaints and I know that nothing can be done given the fact that it's STC and there is no real way to mitigate this but this is an open forum and just like anyone else, I am entitled to my opinion. Besides all that, The Scarborough Town Cineplex is a great cinema but I think it is about time that they upgrade their seating.

We had a wonderful experience there. Nice service and properly organized. I love their buttered popcorn. We had a nice time there. We watched "Wreck it Ralph" today and it's half priced in Tuesdays. We'll surely go there more and more times. Only drawback I saw that was there was no seat number allocations, so everyone was rushing to grab a seat.. they have to let the patrons choose the seats. Otherwise it's a great place to watch movies.

Enjoy going to the movies here. The arcade is massive with more games than any other cineplex in the GTA. I enjoyed my first movie beer here and have been here multiple times. The washroom is clean, staff are professionals, and theatre area is clean. Great place to take a date!

Anyone who wants to enjoy a soothing and decent movie experience should choose this theatre.It's a great location because I pretty much live near this place. The staff are nice and I think the service is really great. I like that they have reserved seating as well.The building is clean and the infrastructure is modern. This theater usually get most of the popular movies as well as some foreign films. They recently upgraded their system to accept mobile tickets, so you can walk in the theater directly without printing or pickup any paper tickets.

They have a huge parking space, Customer service is great, clean washrooms and they have all the regular movie munchies ;) To make things better the play arena got some good games to play with you want to kill some time before getting into the movies.

Brought my daughter to see the Lego movie for family day. Insane line ups didn't need to be insane. It was like they weren't prepared for a holiday crowd. She wanted to play games after. 80% of what she wanted to play was out of service.

The theatre is ran well. Staff are well trained, polite and courteous. They have a good amount of options on food and video entertainment if you have time to waste before your movie. Prices are pretty much like every other theater. My only thing was how dirty the washroom was. Normally that wouldn't bother me so much because it's the customers who aren't respecting the place enough. However, as I was drying my hands I noticed a sheet that employees have to mark that they checked and cleaned the washroom periodically. Funny enough, someone had just checked and marked clean 5 minutes before I got there... Really... You were better off not having that sheet so I wouldn't know that someone didn't take their job seriously.

Twice now I went to an ultra AVX auditorium and the speakers just didn't kick into ultra AVX mode. The sound was the same as a standard theater. What are we paying extra for? The first time the manager was aware of the problem and I was given a voucher that I could use on any movie as compensation, but the second time they didn't seem to understand the speakers weren't working and said it was working normally.

Be prepared to empty your bank account when going to the movies The food is really terrible and over priced plus even the water is costly. Not really sure how people can afford to go as often as they do The theatres are cramped and the main lobby is dark not really a place to spend time at before or after the movie

Well this sucks 20 minutes into the movie. Lights go on in the theatre. No film. Just sound track. I mean this sucks more than 10 minutes I have been listening to the most expensive audio book. Now they say they'll restart the movie. Like our lives and our schedules revolve around them. This sucks. They better make it right. Don't go to STC. Save your money.

This theatre location is very close to home, so we come here time to time. For what it is its a very nice theatre If we were living in 2008. Every time we come here they seem to never have the food that is offered, for the last 10 visits weve come here, you guys have never had cotton candy but you guys have a big sign advertising it? As well for the pretzels, advertised but its never available. Just infuriating because we always are looking forward to getting cotton candy and the staff will say with ease you guys have none. None of them do anything about it. Customer service should be number one priority, not the last. This theatre is way past due for an upgrade, its 2019 hope this place starts living like it.

Large theatre, and friendly staff. I didn't like the layout though, theatre rooms are on an upper level while the concession stand is on the crowded main level. It's not the biggest issue, but it would be nice if they had a small stand even upstairs between the theatre rooms.

First movie since COVID started so I thought I'd write about the COVID precautions during my movie experience. When you book tickets, you have to pick your seats as they have to keep social distance. These rules are ever changing though because when I first booked, they said people could only sit diagonally from one another so I ended up with seats I didn't hate but I didn't love them either. And then at the theatre, there were people in front and behind me. I did NOT appreciate the double standards in booking because I had a conversation with a staff employee and apparently the rules changed one day after I had booked my tickets. Onto the positive, Cineplex employees are readily available and willing to help answer any questions I had. Everything seemed very clean and there was definitely not that many people around the concessions area despite so many movies being screened meaning they probably timed it well and limited the amount of people. For any movie goers, you can eat in the theatre mask-off but if you need to go out for any reason, they will remind you mask-on. Also, any expired movie passes still work (at least the ones I had gotten from Costco still did).

This place always has all the new movies. Fast service. I usually get tickets online or at the automated kiosks. Tons of options for popcorn, nachos and other movie food. It also has a great little arcade area. It has air hockey and basketball among other games. There are also games for younger children.

Great place for movies.... One of the best multiplex cinema theatres in Toronto. This multiplex is equipped with multiple kiosks for great convenience. Apart from this, it has two food outlets and fun game station.

Came here 2 months ago and they were practicing proper covid social distancing...now today despite omicron spreading, they have guests sitting elbow to elbow in the theater. They've packed everyone at the back and left the front completely empty. The staff we interacted with were friendly, and it's your regular Cineplex experience. Insanely overpriced food, pre-show commercials, 10 minutes of commercials once the lights dim down + 10 minutes of trailers, then a movie. Chairs aren't comfortable and legroom is cramped when people sitting in front lean all the way back (I myself have to lean back, because of the way the chairs flop around with my height being in my legs). Someone was on their phone down in the front row for most of the movie and no employee went to stop them.

Today, I feel the luckiest person. Big thanks to Cineplex staff and the employee named Jean for returning my iPhone7. I lost it last Friday, Feb. 15th, after I left the theatre in a rush because my daughter wasn't feeling well. I've had the impression that I left my phone in the car when I couldn't find it the next day, Saturday, Feb.16th. Good thing, I didn't change my apple ID with the same set up to my daughter's iPad. The feature find my iPhone works as it gave me a notification email this morning, Sunday, Feb.17th that it was found at cineplex theatre. When I came in this evening to pick it up, the Manager came down and handed me the phone. I've ended up hugging her as this kind of situation is really impossible but I believe that if you do good for people, there's always a good karma. I'm blessed to stumble a wonderful staff here at Cineplex Cinemas Scarborough location. Loved the movie "Glass." And that was in part due to the ticketer - or whoever rips that extra piece of paper off the ticket. My day wasn't bad, but I was a little upset and anxious just before the movie. But the guy checking the tickets was so cherry and nice that I couldn't help smile and be happy. You get what's expected of any Cineplex franchise: movies, snacks , etc. However, in order to use the bathroom once inside, you have to go back outside past the ticket inspector, across the food counters and make your way back hopping the person at the ticket booth still remembers you.

STC Cineplex close tonight, no one inform their customer. We waste our time travel there and back. Call customer service for refund. Worse customer service ever. Do not explain why is close and say they only do refund . We need an explanation why all this is happening. Not refund can solve all the problem. Refund also takes about 10 day to work. Bring people so much trouble and customer survive still showing attitude. Really disappointed.

The theater was kinda confusing, we walked in a little early like 20 minutes early for spider-verse which was on the second floor. They told us to wait somewhere but there were no seats. We walked around the mall a bit and we came back when the movie was supposed to show but they still told us to wait. Thankfully we got in and the movie started like 20 minutes later it was worth it tho since the movie was amazing.

Cineplex’s Theatre rooms are wired! The sound the lighting system, it doesn’t make sense. I did not feel like i was sitting in a cinema hall. The sound only comes from the screen side of speakers, while in theatres the best experience of watching a movie is when u get a spatial audio. The seats are not comfortable at all! As a whole I believe these theatres are boring and uncomfortable.

I finally decided to see Terminator: Dark Fate after reading the reviews and watching the trailers. This cinema is very large and has several large theatres. Ticket purchases are done through several self-service machines or on-line in advance so don’t expect any attendant to aid you if you’re not used to following prompts on a screen. You can sense annoyed people behind you if you mess up! The easiest fallback method is to line up and buy a ticket(s) from the service counter. There is a large sitting area to consume food while waiting for your movie to begin or to pick up family members after a flick. Concession food prices are higher than if you went to an actual food place. Heck, just enjoy the time out!

I think my experience so far with the ciniplex at the stc location has been going down. My main peeve is when the picture or audio goes out during the movie, and it feel like it takes roughly 20min to get anyone to fix it. There no one in the room monitoring it during the screen time?

The concession stand is a hot mess. The floor and counters are always sticky with pylons in random places. I get that this can be a result of guests spilling and moving things, but a better staff routine can help at least a little bit. The theatre seats are old and ripped... I had marks on my legs for a day because of the ripped portion on the seat pinching. The chairs tilt back so far and uncontrollably that I had no room to move during the movie due to the man reclining in front of me, and I'm a very small person as it is. Were I any bigger, he would have hit my legs for sure. Overall not a great experience and I'll try to avoid this theatre from now on.

Great theater if it were 10 years ago. I mean its not bad and its not great but its a good nice place nothing was a major turn off but... Every other theater that I've gone to in Durham Region has recliner seats once you go recliner you can't go back to regular seating. Yet Scarborough Town and Ajax Cineplex can't get it right. Call it nitpicking if you want but if you tried those soft warm recliners then you'd be nitpicking too. The other plus was the place was really clean. Not busy during the afternoon and staff were fine.

One of the best theatres in Scarborough. The theatres are grande, the area has an arcade, mini food vendors and posters other figures that you can take pictures of lol. 1/2 price Tuesdays for tickets, and use a Scene card whenever and whatever you buy here, so you can build up points to get free movies. The Timeplay app that you can participate in, prior to the movie starting is also fun. Despite how busy it is, the washroom and theatre are always kept clean and tidy. Employees there are nice and informative. I’d visit here again.

A decent array of snacks, drinks and other meals at the concessions. Popular, in my opinion, for being among the first local cinemas in implementing newer innovations for movie going experiences, such as AVX Theatres. Always a pleasure to watch the latest blockbuster films.

An oldie but a goodie. I’ve been coming to this theatre since the mid-90s. Even though it doesn’t look much different than it did back then, it’s still a great place for a night out. I like the Coke Freestyle machines they have set up, but really, no refills? That’s kinda cheap. We all know how much it costs to make fountain pop.

Not too impressed. Theatres were closed due to Covid. Now they are open, but are garbage. There seemed to be a problem with the picture in my theatre; is that why movie started about 15-20 minutes late? Staff did not inform patrons of situation, just let us guess. My seat could have used some "maintenance" from wear and tear. Men's washroom on second floor was filthy. Not a welcoming environment from such an absence. Need to do more for our business than relying on us "missing movies" and returning in droves...

Been coming here for years the decor hasn't changed much and is getting dusty up above. Sadly the prices have changed exponentially over the years causing my to be more selective of when I see in theaters. The washrooms are cleaned and maintained but can sometimes be a little on the dirty side. The employees are always friends and are very informative when it comes to questions and knowledgeable of the movies. Other than that it's your typical movie theater experience attached to a mall. So sometimes it can be had to find parking close due to mall patrons.

It was a great experience here! The staff helped us with our check-in and the auditorium was easily accessible. The play zone is always busy yet well-maintained. The food counters are well organized as well. The staff at the counters are not at their best behaviour though. Understandably, it is a busy location but a smile wouldn't hurt anyone! Overall, this location is well managed in spite of being busy almost all the time.

This has always been my favourite Cineplex location to go to. The inside is really big and beautiful, and they are always screening a multitude of movies. It also has an entrance to the mall as well as a main entrance outside, accompanied by a parking lot for patrons. There's even an arcade for the kids! It can get a bit hectic here on discount Tuesdays, but the environment is very lively and the associates are extremely kind. It's true that the snacks are very overpriced but that's an issue wth the company itself, not so much the location. If you are willing to spend the buck though, all the food is great! Overall this is a wonderful theatre and would recommend it 100x over.

The only issue I have with this theatre is... at this theatre, more than any other theatre I've been to, people often take out their phone in the middle of the movie. It's super distracting! Today I actually heard someone answer their phone. If you don't mind this and like to use your phone in the middle of a movie experience, go to this theatre. If not, try going to another theatre when you can.

I love this theatre, the best in Scarborough. The have a very diverse and nice staff working for them. Being a Cineplex theatre, whenever something goes wrong, like a cancelled show, they will give you two free courtesy tickets. The seats are very nice and most of the theatres inside have very big screens. My only problem with the place is the soda stand. I went to fill my soda and one of the workers there immediately comes and accuses me of refilling, despite me having an empty cup that I just got from the cashier after paying. They should honestly just make the cashiers serve your soda, the serve yourself "idea" is ideal, but not when employees are on the prowl falsely accusing people of refilling.

Took my wife to see the Terminator last night (10pm show, Aud 12, 4/11/2019) at Cineplex Cinema Scarborough. Bought pop corn and drinks to enjoy the show. However, we had lights on during the first 15 minutes of the movie. I had to go out and find a staff, which took a while since it was the last show of the day, to come and shut off the lights. Pretty much ruined the entire intro part of the movie. After complaining to Cineplex customer service the following day, Cineplex claimed that this incident never happened and that we were lying, despite us showing photo of the screen, lights, and glare on the screen. Extremely poor customer service and post-incident handling.

The drink machines have been moved to the outside and are now a self service. Noticed the other day they've got a cheapass paper sign laminated with what appears to be masking tape, that says no refills.. I can understand if that's the policy but I don't understand how a cheapass paper sign is up to corporate standard or even the motivation behind creating a self service system which does not allow for refills, it's not like they overcharge at 5 dollars a drink or something. Pretty comical.

Cineplex Scarborough is my go to Theatre. About 12 screens. Which is great compared to some other cinemas. AVX is a plus for me. Lots of foods and games to pass the time while you wait for a movie. And it's attached to the mall. So you can roam around and just chill.

Box office person off socializing...had to get her to do her job. High prices at concessions especially considering popcorn flavor shaker no longer included and topping and pop are self serve. I came here a few nights ago with some friends. We went to the outtakes location and ordered a few drinks off the menu. The servers took over 20 minutes and were only making 3/4 drinks. I took the last one as a refund because I already missed the beginning of my film. The drinks tasted like warm milk with no coffee. I understand the equipment isn't top notch for the employees to work with, maybe its better to not serve the Starbucks options until the equipment is fixed!

Good movie theater, I usually go to Cineplex Yonge-Dundas before moving to Scarborough. Unlike dundas, this location does not have VIP but still pretty decent. This place can get busy during weekends and on Tuesdays when the tickets are discounted but other than that it's alright. Also I do think the concessions need more work, I ordered a popcorn/drink combo and it took almost 10 minutes to get my order.

I usually go to this location and I've never had an issue, but today was awful, I went with my husband and my sister to go watch Annabelle today, and everything seemed fine , it was hot at first and we thought maybe they would turn the ac on later , but throughout the movie it just kept hotter and hotter.it was already hot outside and inside the theater it was even more hot. It was my husband's first time watching a movie in Canada and he was very disappointed. I always go and watch movies here it's just this time it was so hot that I felt like I was going to pass out.

Easy ticket sales, no line up's surfing weekday shows. Good food except a little peeved they no longer have burgers. Their California chicken burgers are a hit or miss. Good on veggies but have had both moist and dry chicken so watch out for that. Good soft pretzels

This theatre is run very well. Concession lines are always short, staff is always friendly and despite it being a very busy theatre it never feels like it is. Theatres and washrooms are generally very clean as well. This place has an Outtakes in it where you can buy food and there's also a small arcade. For new movies showing I recommend buying your tickets as early as possible as this is a busy theatre and they do sell out quickly at times.

This is the second time in a row that I went to the movies and I PAID for layered pop corn and it was extremely dry! Like barely any butter on it what so ever .it cost an arm and a leg to go to the movies and hit up the concession stand .I called them the 1st time it happened and the customer service lady was extremely rude and told me theres nothing she can do about it that I should have complain to the staff while I was there , I explained to her that i didn't want to miss any of the movie that I paid roughly $100 to see which is including my ticket price and my popcorn and drinks.its not right that they charge over 20 dollars for pop corn and a drink and an additional 2$ for butter and give people dry pop corn .

This is the Cinema I always went to as a kid. I still do today, but my little brother is 3 and me and my older brothers were like 12 I think. But he had to 10.00$ as well? I dont agree with the pricing cuz he prob wont even remember the movie soo. In total we all paid the same amount 70 bucks? There wasnt much people there soo its still over all my favourite Cinema

Me and my freinds went today for annabelle (auditorium 3). We went inside in the auditorium. It was very hot. There was no air conditioning in the auditorium. We were told that the ac is controlled by stc, but how it could be possible because other auditoriums are working fine. Had a bad experience today. There was no real reasons told by the management. In the whole movie i was not able to concentrate on the movie because of the temperature. Management should do something about it.

Went to see Venom and the theatre seats were not comfortable. The games arcade is a little tucked away bit did manage to get some games in after the show. The food stand was sub par. Order some over priced pop corn and they were soft. Had to return it and wait for another 10 minutes and still did not get a batch that was hot and firm. Disappointed with the whole experience.

Always been to this location to watch and play in the arcade, but today July 14, the on duty manager named Mariah cannot even helped us to our issues regarding purchasing play card. Does not even apologize for the inconvenience. How can she be the on duty manager if she cannot solve or helps with the issues. Doing a refund and purchasing again a play card is hard for her, she said that it's not possible. Hope the management will look how their people work and read all the comments here.

The chairs are nice, the food they sell is the same as usual (burgers, pizza, hot dogs, sweets) as well as expensive as everywhere else. The parking is terrible though, really hard to find a parking spot most times.

Staff are rude and often flippant. The washrooms are filthy and when staff told about it are "I'll get someone to check on that" but an hour later nothing has been done. Don't have easy pay with Scene points like other Cineplex. I'm handicapped and was almost tripped by a staff member who was pushing a dust pan along the floor no looking where he was going. I'm all for a friendly work environment, but it was a Friday evening in July and getting crowded, there was a lot of talking to each other and not paying attention to customers, paying customers, who are right in front of you being served and asking questions. A little sensitivity training would go a long way. There was a vague wave of the hand as I was directed to my theatre, and he looked passed me at nothing until I was able to get his attention again for a better explanation of where exactly there was with an escalator to one level and stairs to another level in the very vague direction of there. If I wasn't from out of town and this the most convenient place to kill a few hours while I waited for someone, I would have gone anywhere else. Only one handicapped stall in washrooms and it was out of order. Six years ago, I used to come here a few times a year, now I'll only come again if it's for a special film that I can't see anywhere more convenient.

Sat 1 row behind DBOX seats and felt the obnoxious effects still. The seats weren't designed very well as I could feel people in the row behind me kicking my seat. The guy in the row in front leaned back and unintentionally hit my legs. There's not enough space for these chairs to leaning back as much as they do. The movie was great but let's just get back to the simplicity of good seats with space and no artificial earthquake rumbling please.

Probably the best theatre in Scarborough. They have most options available, the AVX, 3D and regular screen. Also have a few different food options and arcade games if you have to wait. Staff are usually helpful and friendly.

Place is fine, staff is pleasant albeit not overly well trained. Ordering snacks took 2 people 4 tries to ring up. Also, avoid the pulled pork sandwich - you will find more pork at a kosher deli than they serve in between the buns. My first one has a smear of sauce and about 1/2 an ounce of meat. When I brought it up they apologized and got me another. Lots more sauce. Maybe more meat? It was piled higher in the middle to be sure. Stick with the hot dogs if you need a hearty snack.

Sadly, many of the XScape arcade games here aren't working properly, but you don't find out until you've already spent your money. The line ups for buying movie tickets are not separated between the automated system and the in-person system, which made wait times for buying tickets longer. Otherwise, this venue does not differ from most other Cineplex cinemas.

Probably worst movie theatre experience I've ever had. There were staff/security walking up and down the stairs to vacate squatters at an assigned seating movie. After at least 6 attempts no one was escorted out.

This theater has become so dated. The prices on the concessions have sky rocketed. Seats were not as comfortable as the newer theaters (our new choice is Landmark Whitby or Pickering Cineplex but they didn't have ticket availability). Some other guests had occupied our assigned seats and even aftet they vacated some of them, we did not want to sit there, as they weren't sanitized anymore. In this time, expect an usher in every theater to ensure guests get to their rightful seat. Otherwise you get massively inconvenienced like our party of 7 did and 10 mjn into the show... ruining the experience of other folks in the theater too!! You can do better Cineplex!!!

Modern cineplex very nice screen size and sound. They need to add VIP seating for different customers. mid to higher ticket prices. Cons = bad customer service and not sl friendly staff. Front desk staff has attitude and not very helpful. No smiles. Don't see anyone cleaning or maintaining the property and washrooms are dirty especially by the arcades.

I went there to watch a DBox movie. And I it's setting. It is better than Markham VIP's DBox theater. Because of its box setting is like of at middle form a square near back of theater, and Markham VIP's one is just at the very back of the theater. The customer experience are not that great.

Embarrassing customer service, I waited 15 minutes with my 6 year old to load my arcade card but the guy was busy impressing a female with a toy she had gotten her kid. So I asked to speak to the manager and he was even worse as all he could say is oh well and as I noticed I didn't have his attention I looked back and what do you know he was looking at the same lady and after I finished talking to him he runs to her with smiles

Nice location with lots of extras games where kids can spend time with their family before and after the movie ????. Clean location, especially at the entrance and the main food store. The entrance area is so nice decorated. Popcorn ???? and drinks are overpriced and oversized, so you need to add $10-15 Cad per person on top of movie theatres tickets ????. Overall a good movie experience.

Today's show was not a great experience. We bought our tickets online to avoid disappointment and ridiculous line ups when we got to the theatre... The lines at the concession stand WERE ridiculous and then we were forced to join a LONG line to have our tickets scanned by the one associate who had a scanner. Another associate was standing beside him, but I'm not sure what he was doing. There were at least 200 people waiting to have their tickets scanned... WTH! Then when we got into the theatre and people were sitting in seats that weren't assigned to them, so an usher had to come and redirect the culprits. I missed the first 10 minutes of the movie because of this distraction! After that I wasn't even interested in watching the movie... I spent $200+ to bring my kids, along with their cousins (8 of us) to see a movie and all they seem to remember is the long unbearable line and the inconsiderate clowns who tried to sit in seats they weren't supposed to. Needless to say (but I'll say it anyway), this was a terrible experience. I may just drive a little further next time and give my hard earned movie dollars to another movie theatre that isn't Cineplex. This was not the experience I paid for.

I have been going to this theatre for years and the service is pretty reliable. The electronic method of paying is really efficient and I have never had problems with it. The theatres are clean for the most part and the decorations are always nice to look at.

Saw the movie in the ultra AVX d box seating for those that don't know D-Block seating it's extra costing but it's motion synced with the movie so if you're in a plane or a flight if the plane Bank left to right the seat moves left and right the movie Ed Astra was fantastic definitely five-star experience

Great place to watch movies,game area inside for the kids and adults who love to play games. I enjoyed going there,I gave four stars because the ticket machine is always going off line and I would have preferred touch less sanitizing dispenser. I still enjoyed going there though.
