REVIEWS OF Cineplex Cinemas IN Saskatoon

Sean P

It's decent. Much better than downtown. Would be nice if the seats with obstructed views came with a warning before you purchase them.

Kat Cloutier

Decent parking, uncomfortable seats compared to Landmark, and you can literally hear the other theatres through the wall. At least I got to see The Matrix and hear Spider-Man, so it was 2 movies for the price of 1.

Michele Agren

The chairs were everything. Very enjoyable film as well m

jason

Great service and we had the theater to ourselves. The new Eastwood movie is good and apparently if you go Saturday morning at 11 am you get the place to yourself, bonus!!!

Sydney Welcher

My feet were sticking to the ground through the entire film (from which I'm assuming was old, spilled pop?). Contrary to the other reviews, I actually like the seats but I agree that the screens in this theatre are far too small to enjoy the movie!

Kai C

Good theatre overall. Nice and new. Simple layout, and easy access to the mall. The employees are quick and friendly and the movie quality is about average compared to most other theaters. It’s a lot less quiet than downtown, which is great, and there’s free parking too. Like all other theaters, the snacks are super pricey, but it’s not up to the theater; it’s up to the people up top making the decisions, so I get it. It’s a decently good theater overall, and I prefer this one over downtown, for sure.

Britney Duncan

Nice stars and strollers program so you can take your baby without judgement but it lacked the bottle warmers and changing tables it advertised.

Kent Pollard

Clean and roomy. Accessible seating is far superior to the fancy new theatre downtown, with wheelchair users not confined to looking up at a sharp angle. Slightly older theatre is well maintained.

Rheanne Haines

Very good C-protocols. Staff are friendly and kind

Danny Lewis

Great theatre and decent prices. If you're looking to be served a 5 course meal and have a foot massage during the movie, then of course this might not be the place for you.

Phil sev

A nice movie theater. Though everything is old and rundown. Would use a makeover, but the seating is great and the place is super open. Rarely will you ever see a theater fully packed of people which makes it really nice to watch a movie with a loved one or with family. I always enjoy coming here for a casual movie with my family.

-Byron Hnatuk-

This location is far superior to the one downtown. Cleaner, nicer and obviously newer. The staff are incredibly nice and knowledgeable which makes for efficiency. I would like more offerings at the concession for food but with limited space it's understandable. We will be back!

Night Vibes Studio

The chairs are amazing, well.. I never went to the movies since I'm 13 but nice place!

Melissa Jensen

The price for a movie here is great. It's a small theatre with one persona usually helping you with movie tickets and concession so it can take a little bit. Expect to pay as much for popcorn as you do for your movie ticket. The seats and experience isn't as fancy as the new theatres but it is an affordable.way to see a movie with the whole family.

Vaughn Pitzel

Great theatre, clean facility, comfy seats, good rival to the landmark cinema. Way nicer than the Scotiabank theatre

Marie K.

Brand new. Loved the foot rests. Wish people would stay off their cells. It's irritating and lights up theatre. Bring back ushers in movies

Graham Wisser

Full reclining seats are standard for all regular theatres. Children's screen I have not visited yet, but pictures show a fun time for the young and young at heart

Sonni Peters

One of Saskatoons best theaters. Free parking really helps.

Syed Umair Aziz

Very helpful and friendly staff. Proper social distancing measures are being followed at the ticket counter and inside the movie theater, which is overwhelming.

Egshina Byambatseren

The theatre is great for shorter movies (as the seats are not very comfortable). Although it is on the smaller side, compared to other theatres like Scotia Bank or Landmark, it works well for its location in the mall. The concession prices are like any other movie theatre, and you get what you pay for. Overall, a regular movie theatre with not much special or different from others.

Normal Bear

I enjoyed the movie but if course there had 2 b people that couldn't let others enjoy the movie

Thomas Coe

Ample free parking makes it more convenient to visit than the ScotiaBank theatre downtown, but the place is a bit rundown. Worn out seating and only a shallow rise in the level of the seats from one row to the next. Fine for most instances, but beware sitting behind a tall patron.

Malum Vixen

It's a bit pricey, but a generally nice experience. Staff is friendly, and normally the movie quality is good too.

Strong Potato

Comfortable seats, friendly staff, respected policy, and quality of the films are excellent.

Queen M.

Located within Centermall. All the latest movies are available and flexible movie timings. Unless its a hot release, the cinemas arnt very crowded. Pleasant Staff. Highly recommend.

Sosav 1

I love this location but wish there were more food options, similar to the one downtown.

fullmetalscars1

Lobby is a little small but it has the most comfy theater seats in Saskatoon cinema.

Carma Daria Companiona

We come here for movies quite often when the movies are showing at the Rainbow Theatre yet we find the prices to be quite reasonable that is the prices for the tickets for food and drinks Etc are still fairly highly priced and they don't give refills for popcorn which they used to do that is what in part I only gave this place a score of 3 also the screens are fairly small but that could be a reflection of their space limitations they will be moving to a new location which is being built especially for them and I think that will greatly improve the size of the screens and the number of shows that they can offer hopefully they will change to a free refill format for the popcorn

369ultimategamer

Nice Quality of theatres but the prices for the food was high and you're not allowed to bring outside food so that was a little problem but otherwise okay.

Cricket Reynoldson

Very expensive...popcorn and pop 44.00 .plus you have to pay for movie...

spider king

Lots of space and great seats

Scott Challis

Had a great time. Their D-Box seats recline which is awesome.

Haiku Dave

I was really looking forward to going to this theater & it didn’t disappoint! As soon as you get in the doors, it looks like you’ll have a fun time! Ticket booths on the right, concession ahead, an arcade & theaters on the left. A great place for the family, a date, or just going to the movies with friends or alone. The seating. Better than VIP at Galaxy. I had heard that the seats were more like Landmark’s and that’s true.. though if I remember correctly, Landmark’s seats recline fully (the legs & the back), whereas the seats here are mainly just the legs. That being said, there still seemed to be some give in the back & I never got uncomfortable during my 2h 18m movie. Sound quality was really good! Mostly surround if not fully.. it would be fun to see a movie there that took advantage of that. I didn’t go to concession, but it looked standard to Cineplex options & quality. The washrooms were nice, clean, and big! Friendly & helpful staff. Overall I would say Landmark still has the best seating, but this is a close second. Will I come here over Galaxy? Probably.. depending on showtimes or what’s playing. The movie I saw wasn’t at Galaxy, so if the opposite were true.. but if the same movie was at both, it would depend on what time worked best. If times were identical, I’d come here. I also choose Cineplex over Landmark because of the Scene points.

scott martens

It's great being able to see what seats are available for you before going into the theater.

Zack MacGregor

Nice place to take the kids. Reasonable prices and now with assigned seating it's so much easier.

anar kissed

Not my favorite theatre but it's handy. I like the underground parking and oftenwash my car nearby at Golfs then take in a matinee either at this theatre or the rainbow.

Stephen Molaro

This is a good theatre. The screens aren't as big and the sound isn't as loud as some theatres are, which is great. I have seen a few movies here since moving here a year ago. In the words or Arnold, I'll be back.

Justin Anderson

The full recliner theatre is excellent. Very clean theatre.

Rokai

Good ticket price. Worth it if you don't really care about your movie experience... lots of loud kids...

Ryan Verboom

Price is good but wish the seats were more comfortable like some of the other theatres in Saskatoon

Carlos Trejo

The theater is awesome; however, no social distancing inside. Regardless of only admitting vaccinated people, distancing should be encouraged

Norbert Senger

We had a very good time! The seats, sights and sounds were all excellent. The service was amazing and I am looking forward to enjoying many more movies there in the future!

Blite 33v2

Absolutely Lovely! Reclining seats are nice, and coca cola freestyle is amazing. Be careful not to get the seats closest to the screen though, as it is hard to look at.

Chris Martell

My mom got us wrong tickets wrong location the manage refined us and got us new tickets no questions asked and apologized then we played arcade games for 30 min and one of the games ate my credits and tge manager returned our missing credits great customer service and great manager please give him props for awesome customer service thank you Benjiman ????

Bhavesh Chand

One of the worst cinema experiences ever. No rugs on the floor, no proper cleaning, bad picture and sound quality.

Craig LaPointe

Good other than my home theater sound is better than the Cineplex experience. No rear sound reduced its special effects.

Parth Jethi

Best customer service, i called a couple of times no one picked up coz I had some refund issues so i left a voicemail. Patrick Called refunded and gave me some passes for the inconvenience Best team

Brecker Canfield

Comfortable recliner seats and a good audio visual experience. The rain was pretty noticable during the quiet parts of "The invisible man" which is a horror movie that uses those quite moments to build tension which the rain pulled away from. They don't accept cash when it isn't an issue for anywhere else in the city.

Stacy Runns

I go to the movies basically for the popcorn. Both times I went here the popcorn was way to salty. Both times I went to ask for new popcorn I was told “ oh it’s probably because you got butter “ I always get butter, not once have I had this problem at the Scotia theatre down town Saskatoon!!

G D

Oh I haven't been here in ages, its changed. This is going to be my go to place for movies. Love the comfortable spacious seating.

Jared Rusch

Was awesome having theatre to ourselves. But seats were super uncomfortable.

Zachary Bishop

Very quick service for food and snacks. Good overall experience

Howard Runningaround

Great Covid movie. Noone comes out lots of seating. Beautiful. Pop watered down

Brock Turner

Small cozy theaters. But could use a bit elevation between rows for the shorter folk who get much taller people in front of them. Easy in, easy out.

Kelsie Pratt

Very dated! The sound quality was very poor. The fight scenes were nice and loud but most of the dialogue was way too quiet and sometimes almost inaudible.

colin Kolosky

We got tickets as a Christmas gift. We hadn't been to a movie since Covid. Thought we should go before any more restrictions. Had an awesome time and it is a great gift for a family. Chairs were very comfortable even for a big fella.

Tracy Allenspach

Great management. Movie didn't work and they were very apologetic. Gave us free passes

Walker J

We had an issue with one member of the group not being double Vax( only had one)the staff handle the situation well and respectful. I only wish they were set up at the front entrance so that we didn't buy all our snacks then ask for proof of vaccination with snacks in hand. The website should mention that full vaccinated is defined as 2 weeks removed from the dosage of the second shot.

danpaul

I sat at Row E Seat 1 and I must say, the view is best. I have a little bit of stage fright so knowing I'm at farthest back row eased my mind. I watched Dune: Part 1. I thought "Dune" was 1 part movie and I was just waiting for more and more action to happen. I guess that's my mistake. The seat of the chair feels really uncomfortable because the "head rest" was too high up so it just started from the back of my head. Otherwise, this experience, in my opinion, was decent. People actually respected others while watching the movie. Quiet and they made sure to duck their heads as they go to get drink refills and such.

Vanessa Gerard

I went to the theater to take my daughters to Frozen 2 with a gift card that I was gifted. I went to pay for our admission only to find out the gift card that was purchased had no amount on it. I asked for a manager to see if they could resolve the problem. The manager was easy to talk to but she was very cold and distant. She basically told me that the card was not their problem and there was nothing they could do. The gift was bought and paid for and should have been automatically activated when it was swiped and rung up at the store but she did not seem to care. In fact, she spoke very loudly in front a very busy line up by the concession and kept saying very loudly for everyone to hear "ma'am, this card is not activated. There is no money on it. Theres nothing we can do. Do you have the receipt?" She made me feel as though I was a thief and that I had no right to having it properly activated. Well, first of all, it was a GIFT. HENCE, I had no receipt. She embarrassed my daughters and I and was looking at me as though I was lying about it being a gift. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and almost discriminatory. The fact that the gift card did not activate (as it should when paid for) is not the customers fault but yet she made it my problem and did nothing to help make it right. Only good thing was that the theatre seats were comfy.

David Greaves

This Cineplex is in a great location with free heated underground parking. Score! The screens are smaller than any other Cineplex I've been to, but that's offset by the lower admission cost. Overall this is a great place to go (1) in the winter, or (2) if you're looking for a less expensive way to see the latest and greatest films. 4 stars just because people are so used to the larger screens of most theatres that I think it would be misleading to call this a 5-star theatre.

Ben Stolz

It's fine. Seats are a little uncomfortable, theatres are small, but lacking crowd is nice (and free parking!)

Nikki Bugler

Apparently in 12 hours I will be more fully vaccinated than I already am at this moment ???? I got 2 doses of pfizer but I have to wait 14 days until I am fully "fully vaccinated" which according to them is in 11 and a half more hours ahhah.. maybe they should consider asking for proof of vaccination before you buy tickets & before you buy snacks so you don't have to look like a jackass getting a refund ????

Clint D

So expensive compared to Landmark, recliners suck compared Landmark. Popcorn was meh, no Ac in theatre ( +24 day). Thanks Cineplex for making my choice to go to Landmark every single time.

Darcy P

The staff are great However the bathroom was pretty gross. I know they are renovating in the future - Yay! This theatre needs it and it's a great location. I plan on more movies here after the reno's.

adam reimer

Movie was good. Popcorn was not good. Do they ever make fresh popcorn? It always tastes stale!

Quin Suitor

The projector was having problems and the movie was delayed for about 20 minutes while a manager tried to fix it but after the show they made up for it by handing out free tickets to everyone.

Brigie Carrier

We got asked to leave the theatre because we sat at the wrong seats by mistake. I rather go to the scotia bank theatre better service and better attitudes.

Sebastian Leakos

Good theater. Better ticket prices and parking options than the downtown one. But last time i tried they wouldn't let you in with your own popcorn or other movie theater popcorn. So thats too bad. Maybe if you sneak in a disassembled microwave, assemble it under cover of darkness, and make your own popcorn while in the theater...

Ivan Cutchon

More parking than downtown theatre

Brndo

Not the best seats or popcorn but the movie and drink is good

James Wirth

Short wait for tickets and food. Staff was nice to us. Theater was clean and the movie experience was good. As to be expected, the food and drink were very expensive otherwise I would give 5 stars.

Parker Nilson

It's was bad because I'm 14 and I tried to get in but they said i needed an I.D so I gave them one and they stilled wouldon't let me. Rainbow is better

Everett Gamble

there is this new epic idea for parents who want to bring children to a movie, its called the clubhouse, its a indoor jungle gym, with multiple levels, slides, with a rock climbing wall, kids had so much fun, only $3 more for, and the staff lock up play place before movie starts so makes it easy for parents to get kids settled for movie, very nice Cineplex, way to step up your movie watching game, im still waiting for VR headsets instead of 3d glasses

Jonathan Lafond

Been to this place like 10 times Recommend it

Fazlul Halim

This place has improved facility. Sitting arrangement is awesome. They don't allow outside food and drink (as usual).

Leanne Godwin

Recliners are terrible! AA seats are painful to sit in. Even my kids stood on the wall to watch the movie because they could not see from their seats. Recliners don’t recline anywhere near the landmark chairs. We will not be coming back our first experience is terrible.

Ameline Saanvi Johar

I like this Cineplex theatre better than the one downtown as its not as crowded and the service seems more nicer. The place is well kept. I'm a clean freak so I hate going to dirty places and I never had issued with this place. Not as many snack options as the one downtown but still good variety. The popcorn is really nice, unlike the one downtown which is always burnt tasting and crumb like. STaff very nice.

Kristy Suik

This theatre went through an extensive renovation before covid. The results are definitely an upgrade. There are brand new seats in all theatres, bigger screens and select ahead seating when purchasing tickets in advance. They follow covid protocols and the movie experience is excellent. Always consistent service.

sydneyvolk1

I usually go to landmark because I love the comfortable seats, but as their shows were sold out we tried this theatre instead. The seats were not nearly as comfortable because they do not fully recline, but my biggest issue is that the theatre was incredibly hot and muggy during our show. I am usually always cold and tend to bring a blanket to the theatre with me, but even though I was wearing only a t-shirt and leggings I found myself sweating profusely throughout. My friend and I had a hard time enjoying our movie because it was hard not to focus on overheating. Apart from this, after purchasing our drink cups we found that the drink machines had almost no flavours available, and none which appealed to us. The options were limited to 5 categories out of the usual 30+. Not a huge deal as I’m assuming this is due to covid, but due to the high cost of the drinks it would have been nice to be aware of this prior to spending the money.

Jennifer Pilon

No night staff if you need something. We did finally get the manager after waiting for 10 minutes. He gave us a reimbursement admit one courtesy ticket to replace ours, however this doesn't fix the lack of staff. We saw the usher once, when he jogged down the aisle. 10:15pm movie and the majority of what we were distracted with was a crying upset and tired toddler.

Blue Sonikku

This place is dated. I had been there about three years ago and the floor was sticky, the seats worn and it was very dated. I went back on July the 9th to see a movie thinking it must have improved. I was wrong. The floor is still worn, sticky, painted cement, the seat I had was dirty, the arm rests sticky and the seat part was torn across the middle. I felt dirty just sitting in it. The screen is also far smaller then the Scotiabank Theater. If you are a shorter person, you will also be looking into the back of someones head as the seating is close together. No reclining. I will not be back here and will be returning to my old haunt, the Scotiabank up on 1st street.

Brad J.

A decent theater in the mall! Never had a bad experience here, it's a little older and not as luxiorious as others but gets the job done!

Sourav Gangopadhyay

Same movie cheaper tickets. Of course its dated. But still half price for any new movie. Thats a great thing. And managers and team members r really helpful and nice people

Nathan Sanchez

The new renovations to this theatre was a great idea! The new seats and recliners in the theatre is a nice touch! We'll kept and hopefully it's maintained well. Parking is free and convenient. I believe the 8th street location is better then the Scotia centre on 2nd avenue. Would definately come back to this location.

Rex Gee

This cinema is a bit old but is still a good place to relax for movies. Free parking as it is located inside the Centre Mall in saskatoon. They have cheaper prices compare to other cinemas in the city. Snacks are available at their kiosk. Discounted tuesdays are my favorite!

Doug Anderson

It's not as comfy as the downtown theatre, but the smaller rooms (still a good view) and lower price make up for it.

Jonathan “JTfromSaskatoon” Toderian

Great little theatre with good service from the excellent staff. Seats are okay, but then I'm a little spoiled from going to the VIP Tickets so much. ????????

Muhammad Waqas

I visited this cinema twice, in different halls, both halls didn't match with the reputation of Cineplex. I've been to Cineplex in my home country, and those are way better than they have on 8th street.

Kari Olfert

Covid times have been the best time to see a movie. The theaters are empty right now.

Chris Carson

The old cineplex is closed and they built a new one next door still in the mall, it is a lot nicer with all the new features modern theatres have. I have only watched one movie there so far,a good experience will go back in the future

Michael Roy

This place does have reclining chairs so they get 5 stars

Izzy Grace

Good experience, reclining seats, very high prices. Above average movie theater overall

Katherine C

Okay theater, poor seats (not on an angle) with no support, the sound from other theatres could be heard through the walls, but the customer service was awesome and the bathrooms were very clean.

Harlen Crier (Sonias shopper)

Great seats and relaxing environment. Recommend to return to the imagination here...

the voyager

It is really nice to watch a movie there,,especially seating on the luxurious seats.

Carla Brass

We went to watch Wonder Woman yesterday at the 8th st cinema at the 630 showing my mother went earlier to purchase tickets while there she asked if they accept cash bc I wanted to pay for the snacks she was told they do and that was all she was told (I lost my bank card and banks arent open bc of new years) when I got to the concession counter I IMMEDIATELY noticed how unfriendly the concession staff was when I tried to pay I was met with the staff repeating over and over to me that they arent allowed to touch cash which is 100% ok but when I asked what I was supposed to do they would not answer me at one point she pointed to the counter I thought she wanted me to put my cash there finally the employee helping said she had get her manager thats all she said and left while none of the other staff explained anything to me in fact they simply ignored me finally she came and told me I have to take my money to the other end to exchange for a gift card with the manager which was completely fine I am more than willing and happy to comply with covid policies I just need to know what they are maybe when asked if they accept cash their cash exchanged for gift card policy can be explained I can see that it is on the website but I did not look on their website bc my mother had asked beforehand and that is my fault I should have checked it out but the rudeness of the staff at the concession stand is not my fault this is only the second time we have been to a movie since the pandemic started and to be honest we have been dealing with cut work hours in our household so how we spend our money is a concern but we decided to treat our family for new years day and I am so disapointed with the service we recieved at the concession they were so rude I worked customer service for 15 years I go out of my way to be friendly and follow the rules especially with everything customer service people deal with during this pandemic I let a lot slide that I would not pre pandemic customer service wise because I get it this covid reality sucks for everyone but thats how insanely rude they were that this is the very first google review I have ever done I will say the employee working the front door was so friendly and polite we were more than happy to write down our info for covid tracing the manager was also very friendly the cinema was clean and we felt their covid measures were more than adequate but I have to agree with other reviews please dont waste your money go to the landmark.

Ervhil E-pilef

A good place to watch movies. My friend found a unique pig coin bank here. She was so very happy cause she collect more items that she can't find somewhere else.

Philip Taylor

great reclining seats and a special theater for families. really the best theater in town

Shaharin Hoque

I prefer going to this Cineplex than the one in downtown. The price is couple dollars less and the seatings are 10 times more comfortable.

Duncan (EAGLEEYES911)

Much better than other cineplex theatres but falls short in almost every way to landmark theatre

Mackenzie Lecuyer

Need more staff or better schedule management. 1:15pm on a Sunday, 4 differently moves starting at the same time and they only have one concessions till open. Line is out the door to buy popcorn. Mssing the start of my movie as I type this because of the the slow service.

Shaw cui

Very nice place to watch movie. And just noticed that we can get 5per off at mr. Sub cross the street with the movie ticket anytime as long as at the same day. Good neighborhood.

Lois Riley

The SCENE website, even tho I was helped by Ciniplex personnel, was impossible to complete. At home the site was frustrating : .phoned SCENE and they told me it shouldn't be a problem. How helpful ! Went back to theatre and this time the manager offered to help me. On our 2nd try, We succeeded ! The card is very worthwhile, the points add up. They can result in a Free movie , or 5$ off popcorn. Some restaurants offer points too. Personable employees of varying ages. The moment a movie is over, out come the brooms New Cineplex is being erected outside as part of the $40 million project that is aimed for next year Futuristic photos are posted in the hallways , arty posters. Some display cases are still promoting high school artists .

Greg Hamm

Every seat is a good seat, lots of space to stretch out your legs, the food is pricey but great theater

Brandon Pollock

Movies are always great and I'm so happy we found a way to keep them running during this tough time of the Covid pandemic.

Tyson Off

I watched the movie "Signs" here when it came out 17 years ago. Mel Gibson was still sane and M. Night Shyamalan was still riding the wave of the sixth sense. SPOILERS It really never made sense that water is what ended up killing the aliens. The percentage of water vapor in surface air can be as high as 4.24%. So basically the aliens would have got out their flying saucers and proceeded to die because it would have been the equivilant of me stepping into a bathtub with a toaster.

krp5

Ridiculously expensive! Afternoon matinee with my little guy cost $65 with popcorn and drinks!!! They should also be checking peoples vaccinations BEFORE buying tickets and snacks! Have someone set up at the door! ????‍♀️

T A

Took my 5 year old to go see Frozen 2 today ( Jan 1) bought tickets in the theater at 12:51pm for the 12:55pm showing. Was told it's an extra $3 per ticket for the clubhouse. Didn't know what that was but ok fine. We find our seats, take off our coats and my child wanted to go play, she takes one step inside the playground thing and is told to get out the movie is starting and they have to lock it up. My issue with this was that I shouldn't have been charged for the clubhouse that close to the playtime in the first place. I asked to speak to a manager after the show and raised my concerns, the manager apologized and gave us 2 free tickets for next time. I am super appreciative and was not expecting that, I would've been happy for my $6 back. He went above and beyond to resolve the matter and I am very thankful. Fair warning to everyone who pays for this feature ensure you give yourself ample time to find parking, wait in line at concession, wait in line AGAIN for ticket stub rippers, walk down the hall to the cinema, find your seats, and take your stuff off.

Google Girl

The only thing I wish they had that was better is if they had the recliners that landmark does. The ones where you can lift the middle armrest and cuddle with your partner. Otherwise, it was clean and it was a typical movie theater.

Clint Urbanoski

You are now able to pick your own seats. Not 5 stars only because the seats are close to the ones in front of you. Just how they built them back then.

simona cell

Pros: Wide seats, good view of screen throughout theater. Cons: Too loud (needed earplugs), popcorn was gross.

Kerri Ross

Every time I go and try to use my points to see a movie they give me a hard time about it! Employees need to be more knowledgeable about the scene points!

LINDA SPUZAK

It would of been nice if we could of heared the trailers at the start of the evening no volume for the first half and when the show come on you just about got blasted out of the theatre

saskTOSCZAKoff

Very nice theater overall. If I had to complain it would be that the seats are slightly too small.

Emily Morabito

We ordered pizza and it took a long time. Also, they didn't realize they needed to make more chips until after they gave us our food. Movie theater was nice, but chairs don't recline all the way like they do at landmark

Vernon Hunt

Ok but nothing great, changed the toppings for the popcorn and the new ones are horrible with inaccurate taste if any taste, 180 change from the old toppings for the popcorn

Samantha Dennis

Relaxing & Comfortable Atmosphere !

Shelby Emro

I bounce back and forth between this location and the Cineplex downtown. This one has recliners but no Outtakes. Downtown has Outtakes but no recliners. You win some, you lose some. I'm just happy they're open again!

Nickolas Williams

Simple theatre experience. Midday showing had understaffed concession. Great seats, lots of room.

Randy E

Mostly ok one bathroom stall completely out of tp another ran out while I was in there.

Kevin Wall

Really nice theater!

Sara Watson

Good theatre overall based on everything. Washroom are very clean as well. Recommended.

Holly

Prices are high. Won't be going as much as I used to.

Anna Robert

Came to watch the dunes and our seats were all full of garbage and popcorn. Nice lol

James Paulii

Comfy theater, good staff.

Ashley U

Thank you for the fun delivery on May 4! Definitely wasn’t expecting this when I submitted the order on Skip. This artist brightened our day :)

Crystal Buckoski

The clubhouse play theater is awesome!

Kimberley P

Saw the Joker on Tuesday night for $5.75 admission. Pretty good. However, got a small popcorn and 2 drinks and it was $21. Needed that popcorn tho...

doug MEDERNACH

Best prices in town for 1st run movies. No lineups. Free parking. Plenty to do nearby in the mall. And scene points

Army's Jams

We go to this place to sell our recycles. Staff are are nice and helpful

Mitch Webber

I thoroughly enjoy my movies. I know they are a tad pricey, but still a fantastic place to watch a movie.

Q Ball

Was bazaar, daughter and I went to the late show on Sunday night and we're the only two people in the theater. Service was good at the snack counter and Lady who took our tickets was friendly. Seemed relatively clean.

Mike Downing

Best price for new movies, minus concession. Decent screen sizes and usually pretty slow during the week. Floors aren't that sticky.

Wayne

Go to the theater to relax, only to find it hot. Noticing that more than a few people are waving their hands trying to cool down. Staff said a/c works, just not that well. :/

Dion Gray

Excellent theatre but of course I helped build the place LOL

J O

Current movies for cheaper than galaxy, but not as nice of a theatre. Free, abundant parking is a bonus though

Mme D

Great! Good security measures. Expensive concession.

I used to love going to this theatre due to the ease of getting there from my house. However, in the last 2 months or so they have stopped bringing in new movies and keep insisting on playing old movies or low-profile movies. It is very frustrating and has caused me to stop going there

Comfortable seats and amazing 7.1 Dolby surround sound. The sound in the ultra AVX theater is hands down better than the landmark though the landmark's pricing is a bit better. I also found the screen to be better quality. If you are seeing a high end sound and visual movie this is the better theater. If you are seeing anything else then cost would say landmark is the better choice. Both have comfortable seats. We sat in the DBOX just to see how comfortable they are and we did not want to get up and go to our actual seats. No idea yet how they would be during the movie but if they work like the ones down town then we will be in for a treat.

Staff were so unprofessional. The guy working till stood there complaining about his co workers, his minimum wage, Starbucks not fixing their coffee machine, very unprofessinal. There was no coffee no popcorn. Missed the beginning of the movie waiting for my order. It wouldn't have been so bad if the guy just explained everything and wasn't so busy complaining with the manager while ignoring customers.

Thought we'd try this new Cineplex after hearing how good it was. We were not disappointed, better parking was a big plus. Comfy reclining seats, and helpful staff

I would not recommend this place at all seats are extremely uncomfortable the arm fell off the seat as well, theater stunk real bad, poor sound quality it's like they haven't upgraded anything since they put the theaters in.It still cost $9 to get in the movie I would spend the extra $3 and go to landmark cinemas with their seats are really comfortable the sound is great the picture quality is awesome in the theater doesn't stink.

Movie was fun. Assigned seats were not being followed. Smelled like weed infusing the air every 15 minutes????

Looks like a nice theatre but there is not enough parking and the lot is too cramped. The worst thing was that the seats are so uncomfortable, as they don’t recline far enough and my neck and back were cramped the entire time. Even moving my seat straight up and down didn’t help. Nothing I did helped me get comfortable. Sorry, I won’t be back. I will stick with Landmark, as their seats recline further and are far more comfortable. Marla G

The new theater is great, the movie was good. But there was 20 minutes of commercials before the movie started. And I'm not talking about previews. Commercials for grocery stores and cars and whatever else. I thought i paid to see a movie. With that many commercials it should have been free.

My family went to see the transformers tonigjt and i have to say that we were all extremely uncomfortable. There was no air circulation no fans running.... nothing. I heard many people complaining about how hot it was in there when we were exiting. Staff should really be checking on that. It would have made the movie more enjoyable.

Clubhouse review First time taking our kiddo to the clubhouse theatre and she enjoyed the play structure prior to the movie. The only downside to this theatre is that the seats don't fully recline and our 4 year old needed a booster seat whereas she hasn't at other theatres (Landmark). Another con of our experience was that we bought a kids coupon at Costco and were informed that they had ran out of the kids snack combo so we were unable to use our voucher and had to pay for alternate. Otherwise everything was great, we loved Sing 2 and the popcorn was tasty!

The seats are big and comfy. The Clubhouse was great for the kids to play on before the movie! It's a 3 story play structure, and let's the kids burn off some energy so they can settle in and enjoy the show.

Cindy Braaten

Was ok, but you could hear the other movie from the next theater!
