note to everyone, MJR theaters do not charge a seat reservation fee they are on 23 and gratiot! unttil amc theaters drop there reservation fees I will not patronize them! same goes for kraft 8. Do you theaters realize I can stream movies at home and dvds at red box much less than the theaters! you must be doing great buisness to be able to loose customers!

This happens to be my favorite theater. They have the best popcorn in town, probably why we get the popcorn bucket every year. Plus there is a great assortment of food for the entire family. The actual theaters are a decent size and you can see over the people in front of you(comes in handy for us short people). Reclining seats are so comfy, and there are cup holders for everyone. The bathrooms are always stocked and clean. Covid has ruined many plans of mine, but I’m looking forward to returning to this place.

I'll give it five because pretty decent place. Staff is excellent and friendly. Pro tip if you get one of those giant oversized popcorns that cost as much as a mortgage payment and have multiple family members with you ask for a "share box" then I can split up the popcorn. Then again this was my first time in a theater in around 10 years. Sorry if I sound like some old dino.

It's not a bad theater by any stretch but it isn't a great theater either. It's really a tough call because it's probably the nicest one in the area but on a scale of all theaters it doesn't rank that high, hence the 3 Star review. As far as the services that this theater provides, its got what you'd expect. There's popcorn, drinks, candy, and pretzels. The movie selection is fairly on par with other theaters but doesn't have the variety of show times since there are only 10 screens. The seats are padded and the armrests have cupholders which is again what you'd expect. Its not a Lowes Theater but it gets the job done.

If you can watch your movie somewhere else, do so. Screens are so close to each other that you can hear the bass from the next one over during your whole movie. Posted start times are inaccurate. Have to sit through 45 min of commercials before your movie actually starts. Won't be going back.

I haven’t been to these theaters since I was little and I understand why now, you are better off sneaking your own food into the theater if you want to eat. Tonight after standing at the counter watching the employees ignore me, passing me several of times with no other customers around to help, I got the hint and just left to go back to the movie. (I’m not the type of person to yell or be rude to employees so id rather just walk away) I don’t know if these employees aren’t being treated right or just need more consistency from authority to make sure guests are getting a good experience but instead of making nicer seats, you should’ve invested in your employees. And if by chance it’s the employees fault then shame on them and I hope the proper disciplinary action is taken. Either way the incident was unprofessional.

They did a good job when they remodeled the theatres and I enjoy the comfy reclining chairs, I feel a little like I'm at home. I do have one thing I wish was more appealing and that would be the pricing. I get that many people prefer to watch Netflix or one of the many other online movie services which has cut into the profit margins but lets cut a little fat and lower the prices. Other than that I would recommend AMC if your looking to see the latest movies.

10 auditoriums. Super friendly staff. Clean. Chairs are comfortable. They recline, and they have foot rests that you can put up. Ticket prices are reasonable and as in most theaters concessions are pricy. $38 got us 2 large popcorns and 4 regular sodas. Overall a good experience!

AMC Birchwood 10 (located at Birchwood Mall in Fort Gratiot, MI) is my favorite place to go to for new movies. From every aspect of the experience, from the outside posters that promote what's currently playing, the inside where the concession stands are, the bathrooms, as well as the area where the screens are themselves are all so very clean. I went from not going to the movies at all, to looking forward to each visit to this great location. Everything just feels fresh and revived ever since they put in reclining chairs, custom drink machines (that seem to have endless combinations) to the more vibrant theatre screens that pop with more detail. The sound is top notch as well. Even when you recline in the chairs fully, you do not hit anybody behind you, or block anybody that may want to go in front of you to get in/out of a seat. I could go on forever, bit suffice to say, I highly recommend this theater, and hope that people reading this give it a go. I just know you'll have a great time.

I typical enjoy going to the theater and the movie was good. But it would've been better if the seats were clean. There was pop spilled on most of the seat arms. I had to go out and get some towels to clean them. I looked around at other seats and many were the same. Also, $10 for a small bag of popcorn??? No thank you!

I'm a frequent movie goer and this theater is the best in Port Huron. The staff is helpful and willing to make suggestions. That being said, the theater is in desperate need of an upgrade. Compared to theaters toward the metropolitan area, this one is lacking in seating and screen size. Sound isn't an issue for me but 2 of the 3 most important factors of a movie theater are lacking here.

The theatre I was in had dirty saets and the floor wasn't looking the best either. Also the screen for the movie was flickering a bit meaning the bulb for the light needs replacing. Krafft or sperry's would be a much better choice.

Cheap tickets and comfy seats. HOWEVER ... not set up for paperless tickets ... seriously noisy ventilation ducts in some theatres ... and today, a seizure-class flickering screen in theatre 1 (indicating a worn projector bulb that according to an employee had been a problem for the last 3-4 days). The manager was not prepared to change it, so I politely requested a refund -- not possible I was told, because I had purchased through Atom -- he could only offer a credit. I said "No thanks", called Atom, and got an instant refund. That's my last visit to this theatre, there are much better options available.

I don't visit often, due to a serious Netflix addiction. It's been renovated, so is probably a lot more comfortable now with reclining seats. Usually has a great selection of movies, it is attached to the Birchwood Mall (daycare) so if you're going, go during the matinee to avoid un-parented teens.

I got all this food at AMC (they have a grocery store behind that counter) so I got stuck on stupid ????. Had my card swiped, got my movie ticket, and finally found a seat. There's so much room to walk, to sit, to put a drink and to put food omg. And people In the theatre keep to themselves. I loved that part. The screen is as big as the sky. the walls ...I think that's the speakers and maybe the ceiling. It's so cool. The chairs were soft and bent back. I called and told my friends now they wanna go. I love that.

Employees are helpful and polite. Theaters are clean with large seats that recline back. Ticket orders go by seat number so it's assigned seating. This theater is also located within birchwood mall so you must enter thru the mall so for any late night shows make sure you park at the eastern back entrance because the mall closes earlier than the theater.

The prices of everything are extremely high. I understand a renovation costs money, but 8-12$ for beer/Long Island ice tea is quite out of this world. Also they don't do assigned seating since I've went which has been on two different occasions and I've had to sit in a totally different area from my wife/friends because they don't do assigned seating like the 23 mile Emagine theater so you can at least sit next to your friends/family, instead you must sit next to annoying kids....

As someone who is disabled, accessing this theater today was a struggle. The carpet is a nightmare for someone using a wheelchair, the ADA seating is limited with the two wheelchair spots separated from the regular seats by a metal barrier, and the bathroom is barely accessible. I won’t start in on how filthy the bathroom was because I am hoping that it was just between cleanings the three hours I was there. I tolerated the family in front of me talking during much of the movie because I did not want to fight to get out to the concession stand to find someone to quiet them and get back again. The nearby Krafft 8 movie theater is much more accessible for someone using a wheelchair or needing ADA accommodations.

My experience was very, very, very poor. We spent a lot of money to attend the movie showing. The theater seats still had pop corn in them from previous showings. The floors were sticky from spilled drinks. The person preparing the food touched their hair/face multiple times without gloves then proceeded to touch the food. The bathrooms were disgusting with toilet paper and paper towel all over the floor. Both bathrooms reeked of urine so bad it was unbearable to use them. More importantly I contacted the theater to inform them of the issues and no there has been no response. I will not be returning to this establishment and I recommend others to not go either. Don't waste your money on this place.

Very disappointed... Decent movie. Ford vs. Farrari. But screen kept going dark and we could not see parts of the movie. They said for some reason, the projector was burning out bulbs... But they made it right with a free pass to another movie...

My favorite movie theater both locally and abroad. You won't find wider aisles anywhere - so much so that if someone walks in front of your seat you can stay reclined without moving. Clean, comfy, and pleasant service. Delicious popcorn, too - probably due to great management. Five stars really doesn't do it justice.

We would have rated this theater higher but they consistently start movies 20-22 minutes past the advertised start time, and their concessions are expensive. Other than that it is a nice theater with cushy reclining seats.

This is a great theater. Offers an array of genre movies for your viewing pleasure. Seating has all the amenities of home. Rock or recline in comfort seating for a relaxing view of your favorite movie. Lots of movie snacking fare, offered on the menu, for your movie munching discerning palette. All handicapped/wheelchair parking and seating.

Cozy theater, very nice seats. Walking room within rows, even with legs extended. Tickets are a bit pricey, but they offer a rewards program. Theater audio is a bit too much, seemed to bleed from one theater to the next, that, or the base is off balance...

Only place in town where u can relax watch a movie and have a beer or drink, loved it. They said it was sold out but it was only half full. The kids couldnt sit with us but those teenagers dont need supervision. Made making out with the wife easier.

Love the space in between the rows of seats. Also the staff are top shelf. Very polite and legitimately interested in creating a positive expirence for their guests. I hope the management treats them well. This level of customer service isnt easy to come by these days.
