The ticket purchases are a long tedious process. You can easily spend 10 minutes in line if there are a couple of people ahead of you! Also , I can't remember the last time all the esculators were running. Always broken! Talking years... nothing new! Recently replaced half, now they are out of order again! Bring a book if you have to take the elevator, its that slow!

I really like this theatre. I'm able to purchase my seats ahead of time, casually walk in, grab a drink, and watch the movie. They have an IMAX and IMAX 4D. I highly recommend going if you haven't already.

Love this movie theater! I typically catch a late Thursday night or Friday night opener. The reclining chairs are great. However on two occasions at two different theaters, theater 10 and 12 both were downstairs. The F row, seat 1 did no recline. I would recommend taking in a movie at this location, just stay away from the F rows.

I am so upset right now. Tonight was my 6th time in a row that I visited this theater and the movie was interrupted the whole time by rude, disrespectful, ignorant people. EVERY time I visit, the theater has people that ruin the movie by talking loud and being disruptive. It doesn't matter what day or time I visit, it's ALWAYS the same thing. What ever happened to the days when a theater employee randomly checked in? I don't mind paying the ridiculous prices for tickets or food, but after I've spent $50 on admission and snacks for me and my son, I'd like to be able to watch the movie without a bunch of obnoxious people walking up and down the rows of seats or yelling from one end of the theater to the other. I'd rather drive to Braintree to AMC. I never have this issue when I go there. Showcase needs to take some responsibility and monitor what is going on inside the theaters. I will not be back, but I suggest you take note of the reviews and fix the issues that consumers are bringing to your attention or else you won't have enough business to keep your doors open.

I hadn't been to the Showcase Cinemas at Randolph in years. They really made over the place and it turned out nice. The bright colors gave me a warm clean feeling compared to the AMC Theatre in Downtown Boston which has muted earth tone colors. The reclining seats are nicer than the ones at Braintree's movie theatre. I wish that all movie theatres had reclining seats.

In theater 14 last row rear seats. It must be 90 degrees in here. Audio is very muffled not sure if its seat location or problem with audio. Not enjoying movie at all, can't hear.

The facility is pretty amazing. Multi-level for more screens.i still dknt k ow how to work the scan features on the kiosks but you can skip the line and get your tickets if you figure it out.

This theater has three floors plenty of parking a ball you can drink from on each floor they have tables you can sit and eat at. A small popcorn is $6 that's expensive to me. They have cards that you can purchase and you can add points to them by how many times you go to the movie and then allow you to get a free bag of popcorn when you earn enough free points. It's definitely a nice place to hang out. I like the lounging seats how you can press a button and they go all the way back.

The theater has been nicely upgraded with the recycling leather seats and the lines seem to be a lot better with the whole reserved seating, but the tickets are expensive. The only savings is the starpass where you earn points. This theater has improved a lot and has pizza, fried dough, ice cream to name a few, a bar and a lux level. Oh and another important thing is the theater seats and bathrooms are always clean!

Very disappointed In the service in the poor state of condition it was on first & second level. Food was mediocre prices ridiculously too high for the quality perparation & presentations of it. Condiments empty area messy &dirty not kept up with. Mind you this was at 9pm on a Tuesday. No one was upkeeping with the food area nor bathrooms. Workers seemed with no care or effort. I guess this mightne a reason why i dont go to this cinema in yrs though it was "remodeled" a few yrs back. Ill keep going to Dedhams showcase

Went to see it. Movie was great but lots of kids in movie talking loud laughing out loud. No consideration for everyone else. Complained to front desk. Was told " well alot of kids in that movie " yeah. And ? Wont even go into theater to investigate or tell them to please keep quiet or they be asked to leave. Nothing. Management didnt care. Wont be going back. I go to braintree from now on

I have been coming to the Randolph Cinema every Friday night for the last 10 years. I have always found the theater to be clean and the management to be extremely helpful with any problems such as the theater being too loud. I am a Club member and receive free movies and popcorn after going 2-3 times to the show. Now I am taking my grandchildren even during these COVID times and feel very safe.

Victim of it's own size, parking is a mess and too many people. Popular movies arn't worth seeing on opening weekend cause you can never get good seats unless you wanna sit bored for an hour before the movie.

Unbelievably rude, loud, and inconsiderate audiences on multiple occasions, zero ushers in sight every time I’ve been here. People sneaking into movies on the 3rd floor down all the time being as loud as they feel like because “who cares, I didn’t pay for it.” Spend your money elsewhere.

Apparently they will not accept out of state IDs in order to ented the lux section. Talk about ruining a night and having no customer service skills; they really asked if I had anything besides my valid drivers license from another state. Amazingly I hadn't brought my passport. I would avoid this place on principal as who wants to have their night ruined because they brought a friend from New Hampshire?

Food is horrid popcorn is old and stale, the seating does recline but the seats are narrow and the arm rest don't go up, you can't get close to your significant other. Please check your seat before you sit down this theater does not clean in between shows and if they do it's a piss poor job. This theater doesn't support veterans, most theatres have discounts for veterans and senior citizens, when I asked do you have military discount they said yes but you have to be active. Being a veteran I found that to be very disrespectful. It's as if you're forgotten about because you're no longer active I guess they never heard one a marine always a marine. Because of this I'll never go to this theater they don't support veterans and the seating as cleanliness is disgustingly horrible....SF

The movie theatre is great but only get reserved seats. I don't know why they sell the non reserved seats, which are at the front of the theatre, and are standard movie theatre seats. It isn't clear online that the seats are at the screen making it impossible to view the film.

Love it here! I come here every time we go to see a movie. Great snacks, seating and staff. My only complaint is the elevator is not the best quality. Though I feel safe when I have to take it, I ALWAYS have to block my nose and breathe through my mouth. If someone could get in there and clean it/dust it, that would be awesome! Other than that, I don't have any complaints.

I love coming here. I've been coming here since I was a little kid, and it's only gotten better 10 years later. I like using the Atom app because I dont have to stand in line like the other plebians lol. I can just walk in, order their overly expensive food, and then go watch my movie. I saw the Spider verse movie recently here, and it was so good I ended up seeing it twice, which I never do.

If you go to an afternoon show be prepared for some sort of technical difficulty. Maybe the lights won't dim, maybe the screen will go black until someone speaks to a manager. It's always something in the afternoon.

This is a wonderful theater with comfy seats. The concessions are a bit pricey, but overall worth it. Just be sure to sit in your assigned seats, else you will be in a world of confusion. My friend decided to sit wherever he wanted and did not heed my advice about assigned seating. We were about to watch Endgame and almost had her own Infinity War with the people who purchased the seats we were sitting in. SIT IN YOUR ASSIGNED SEAT! They have beer and wine on tap. One of my favorite theaters hands down!

I have been going to Randolph theater since the early 2000s, While I never get more than an Icee due to insane concessions prices, the seats are comfy, the sound quality is fantastic, and the place is very well maintained.

The snacks are more expensiver their then any other theater iv been to and they rip you off with butter most other theaters pop the popcorn with butter so it has a big flavor! this one they only spray it on the top so only the the top layer has butter no were else so it is very bland

This is a great theatre. I love how you can select the seats before hand. If I want to purchase two whole rows of seats so that not a single mom or her obnoxious animal kids are near me, then by God I can do it. Great theatre.

I go here whenever I watch a movie. Comfy seats, reserved seating, and an IMAX theater are the pluses. The one problem is the tickets don't scan properly if you print them at home and you need to have employees reprint them. Overall a good cinema, would recommend!

A lot of cinemas means a lot of showtimes. Reclining chairs are inferior to Randolph's. Multiple snack sections with a decent selection of hot food and snacks and one more sells alcohol. Be careful buying a ticket online Make sure you can choose your ticket then or else you're paying a lot of money to sit in the very front, in standard non-reclining, on a first come first serve basis.

Clean, nice reclining seats that you reserve when purchasing your tickets. Sound and picture quality is great. The only negative is the prices at the concession counters. Almost $7 for a large drink. AMC in braintree has better prices and refills on their popcorn.

This is a nice theater and all of the seats are reservable and recline. The Foxboro theater is closer to my home but because it is a general admission theater, I always make the drive to Randolph.

I like that the theaters have recliners, which are very comfortable and give you more than enough space. It's great that people don't have to squish by you when using the bathroom too. My only problem with this theater is the concession stand. 3 workers there, 2/3 were friendly. But only one was serving during a pretty busy time. It took a long time to get out food and get into the theater. Other than that, good experience during the daytime hours.

As I was placing my order, the young lady seemed to be more concerned about her co worker taken his break before gets. She ignored my request for butter on my popcorn and told me to go around the corner and it would be there. My friend before me for butter put on my the young lady with no issue. Not actually first class customer service.

First off, the main concession stand was booked up so we went to the lower level since our movie was playing on the bottom level. Apparently they ran out of chicken tenders and my sister had to go back up stairs to the mob scene to get them. Then we were allowed into the theatre before it was even cleaned, we waited about ten and walked in again not knowing if it was cleaned or since no one said anything. The commercials that were playing before the start of the movie were of a black screen and sound. When I asked a staff member about this apparently this happens sometimes and this is normal. Such a waste of advertisement for those companies who pay for that. My topper was in the middle of the movie, the lights came on and no one turned them back off during the rest of the movie play. Now I know why I hardly come to this movie theater. I found the place unprofessional and completely out of order as to how they run the place, hopefully they get it together sometime soon.

Good enough movie experience. I only took a star off because there was popcorn all over the ground in multiple areas and it didn't look like anyone was in much of a hurry to clean it up. Trash cans were also overflowing with no sign of any employees.

They have you choose your seats only to walk in and have it occupied by others. Everyone was doing this. Maybe staff should be in the theater as folks walk in to find seats. That way if there are confusion as to where to sit the staff worker can step in to direct. Less chance of seat stealing.

The renovations made in the last few years has made this a beautiful movie theater to go to. The Lux level is not up to par with Legacy Place or Patriots Place as it's probably the oldest and hasn't seen as much renovation. You feel more like a VIP at Patriot Place or Legacy. The food is great and the waitresses in the Lux level are excellent It's Only The Experience before and after the movie that you see the difference between this theater and others. Everyone that works at the theater is Pleasant courteous and seems to have your best interest at heart. The great place to see a movie with family and friends I will suggest the other theaters mentioned 4 a first date.

It's a nice theater but nobody that works there is very friendly or seems to care about their job. There's no customer service, long lines at concession, and a lot of times the movies will start with lights still on or picture not showing. Also, there's nothing being done about the rude people who are on their phones or talking during the movie. This would be a great theater but definitely needs new employees and new management.

The screen was black throug out all the previews at the black panther. Black panther is the number one movie in america right now. I had to tell them about the screen three times. Do these people not realize I paid over $18 for each ticket. Also paid another $34 for snacks. Not worth it. I was very disappointed

MxDx4x whatever x it is... So over rated. Chairs are uncomfortable and the movement, pokes, air, etc, an inexpensive and distracting gimmick. Plus there was no air-conditioning. The theater was hot and uncomfortable. My movie experience was so unsatisfying that I left in the middle of Bond! Who does that? Those $20 seats made me do it.

Been there twice since coming to MA. Nice comfortable seats that recline at the touch of a button. Plenty of walking room between rows so your not stepping on people and out is very clean no sticky substances on the floors, a big plus for me.

It's big with lots of theatre option, food selection (of the fast food variety). It also sells Starbuck options and has a bar. The parking lot is accommodating for large crowds. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because 1, they do not sell food as late as movies run and 2, the cook food quality and/or quantity is not consistent. All in all, it's still a really good theatre.

My favorite theater, partly because it's close, partly because it's got iMax, and partly because of the reclining seats. Pretty much all screens have the great reclining seats, except for the iMax and 4D screens. Those seats are comfy too though. I hate the 4D because it moves you around and blows air at you and is generally very distracting, not immersive as intended. But that's true of any theater with 4D. This theater is clean, the various screens have been updated, and it has pretty much what you'd expect in terms of films. It's a solid choice for a movie theater.

I mean talk about the worst experience if you want to call for info about movies. Thinkin this was gonna be easy here i am driving. Dial what i thought was a specific number to the randolph mobie theater and no. Your greeted with a machine which i had to tell over and over im in Boston Massachusetts. Comes up with ohio, then after trying and trying they hang up on you. So i call back for round 2 ohh yes this is where it gets good. I call back i tell em what movie i want info on (Dragon Ball Super Broly) after repeating the title about 10 times on the 15th time i throw my phone on my dashboard, it hits and cracks my windsheild in my car. So now i got a recording asking me to name what movie i would like to see. I have no clue what the number is to talk to a human worker in randolph. And now i have to pay over 300$ just to get info on a movie. Thanks showcase Cimema. For being so unhelpful, thank you for being so cheap you don't even have real people waiting on lines. Thank you for giving me 0 info. I will cirtenly not be ordering movies from you anymore. Im going back to AMC where theres cuddle seats that recline and it doesnt smell like stale pee while watching a movie

Always something weird when we go here. There is always something that takes away from a great experience. Last time someone hit my car in the parking lot...asked security about viewing the parking lot cameras and was told with a chuckle they have not worked in a long time. This past time no one at the concession stand on lower level...one guy on his phone behind the counter "pizza maker?" said oh it's not his job as he played on his phone...he stopped playing and searched for whoever was supposed to work the counter but no one ever showed. okay so no pizza for us. So back up two flights of stairs to the top floor. At least the girl at the first floor concession was nice when she told us she wouldn't sell us the pretzel bites cause they were kinda "stale". So ended up with nachos...not my favorite but not really any other options. This place should not be your first choice in movie theaters. It's a shame because the seats and screens are nice.

Don't have any real complaints. Drinks at the bar, anything edible is expensive because movie theatre prices. Not all the seats lean back all the way, depends on the showing room you get.

If there was actually an option to give it 3 1/2 stars, I would. This theater is ok, but not the best Showcase in Randolph. Used to be good from before, but all we have now are long lines during busy times, expensive candy, etc. The staff are not that friendly, and are sometimes rude and careless at times. The recliners are great, although I much prefer Regal's recliners in Taunton. Still haven't tried the MX4D experience ever since the whole theater got renovated due to higher prices. IMAX is awesome with comfy non-reclining seats. I'll still go back to this Showcase cinema, but only once on occasion from now on. Will stick with Regal. Note to self: Bring your own candy from somewhere else to save money. Simple as that.

Easily the best theater I have ever been to, and living five minutes up the road makes that pretty great! Super comfy, leather, reclining, RESERVED seats mean you can show up right as the movie starts and lean back and relax. Price is very fair, staff is polite and friendly, and the food is decent side of typical theater options. Only suggestion to the establishment is that perhaps they could offer something other than water & diet soda for sugar-free drinks (seltzers, for example). This is clearly an establishment who has realized that they needed to make movie theaters an 'experience' again, and succeeded! *Edit* They have since begun serving seltzers. :)

This is my theater of choice for any occasion when I want to take in the latest major motion picture. 4D, 3D, IMAX, reclining seats, they offer it all plus have a special Lux Level where you're pampered with service and a special menu featuring items outside of what's offered at the concession stand. A full bar is also available. One of the managers at the customer service desk is such a charming woman, you will be tempted to say hello to her anytime you go there. She's too cool. Plenty of free parking. Going here makes a trip to the movies a real treat.

Went last night to see the Lion King in IMAX!!!! and it was neat and clean BUT in the middle of the movie the fire alarm goes off for about 6-8 seconds and then stops, the movie shuts off and as we get up to leave they only told us to go back Inside if we left the theater. (so you had to get up and walk out for them to tell you to go back and sit down)plus it took them another 5-10 mins to put back on the movie and find the correct spot we were at, i’m sorry but it was me and one other person my tickets cost 39.50....there was NO reimbursement or another offer for free movie tickets...NO apologies....I was BS it ruined my experience and that’s not the first time at this movie theater...go to Braintree for now on!!

Nice movie theater. Its very big. You have to pick your seat. Very busy every time I go which is usually a weekend or holiday. Popcorn is good but I feel it is expensive. I sighned up for the star plan & popcorn plan so I get a free ticket and a free popcorn once in awhile. I love their big comfortable seats. I tend to recline more & less all throughout the movie because of my arthritis , so the seats really help

been going here since i was a kid, good theatre. like the seating better than amc braintree only downside is the prices of conccessions is crazy, at braintree you can get a huge cup for 6 dollars and its unlimited refills, here a cup is 10 bucks and you have to buy a new one when its empty

Great comfy seats and huge selection of movies, it can get really really crowded during peak times though. Sometimes it seems like the food stations are understaffed, the lines seemed really long on more than one occasion.

I came to see the biggest/longest movie of the year, Endgame at 11:30 PM in deluxe seating!!! 2 and a half hours through the movie.... it's getting really intense... you can tell a huge scene is coming... and then........ the fire alarm goes off.... I understand you have to evacuate for our safety, but the way they handled it after was awful. We were giving a normal admission ticket that had to be specifically for theater 12 because that was the theater we were watching it in. I paid 28 dollars for deluxe tickets! And the fact that it has to be theater 12??? That's absurd. This is the first week Endgame released, it was a struggle getting these tickets as is, the whole next week is sold out, and they expect me to be able to find tickets for Endgame in theater 12? I wont be able to watch the last 30 minutes of the what is supposed to be the greatest movie in at least another 2 weeks, I am beyond frustrated. I need management to contact me, let's see if they do...

The worst experience in any restaurant/movie/customer service type place in my life. Their excuse was that 1 server called out. Then call someone else? A manager could assist? This is a Saturday night come on now, and it wasn't even that busy considering. We weren't even approached by a server until 45 minutes into the movie. Drinks, just soda and water mind you arrived after the food, with just 30 minutes left of the film. We won't be going to this theater or the lux level ever again, absolutely horrendous.

Facilities are ok. They crank the volume and the walls are thin so you can hear rumbling and bass from other theaters around you. Not cool. I once pre-ordered some snacks from the kiosk and was instructed by the machine to go to the "express pickup line". When I approached the snack stand and asked where to pick up the snacks, they all looked at me like I was crazy. I asked several other workers and nobody knew. Eventually one of the senior staff knew what I was trying to do and helped me out. I should have just said no to the kiosk and stood in line. I would have had my stuff faster.

Friendly staff and clean seats. Just be sure to tell them if you don't want to go to the Imax theater if you don't want to spend the money they charge. Also in the Imax theater the seats are way to close and you can't recline in the seats.

I think I'm being generous with 3 stars... The Good: Came here to see Star Wars and went to Lux with a friend of mine. Great drinks, free popcorn, good Cap'n Crunch chicken tenders, awesome reclinable seats and excellent wait staff... Great experience so far. The Bad: Then about 10-20 minutes into the movie I can see in my peripheral something running by the floors since there are blue lights that illuminate the stairs and I was sitting by them. I dismissed it. However it kept happening to the point that I stopped watching the movie and focused on the stairs and saw it was a mouse! ( or mice, can't be sure how many) This happened for the rest of the movie. I already lost my appetite at this point. Then towards the end of the movie I saw two mice slowly crawl up the wall that divides the chairs in front of me and I was completely grossed out since on the other side are people leaning back up to the wall!! The Ugly: (I assume she is ugly by her tone lol) When I called the next day, the woman who answered was completely rude to me and implied that i was lying since I didn't bring it to someone's attention at 1:30 in the morning on a work night. She didn't want to connect me However the manager she connected me to was very understanding and he arranged some accommodations. Nice gesture, however I will not be going back to this place for a while. If the mice are that bold when the place is packed, I can only imagine what it looks like after hours...

I'm normally never in this area. But I took my grand to see Teen titans. The upper level looked good but there was no escalator going down to the lowest level. Wasn't to thrilled about that. The lower level concession stand was closed. I'll stick to the theater in my area.

I am very upset about how we were treated at this Cinema tonight. We arrived at 6:05 for a 6:25 showing of Inertellar. After spending money on ticket and concessions we found our way to our seats and waiting until 6:50 before we were told that due to technical difficulty they would not be showing the movies. We were told to go to see another movie. Of course most movies had already stated. In addition, there we no movies showing appropriate for my 11 year old son. We were told to go to customer service and wait in a long line. When I reached the front of the line I was told that I needed to see someone else who was handing out tickets to come to a show at a future date. I asked were else I might find the movie playing tonight and was met with a very rude response from the older woman working in customer service. I am now home at 7:30 after spending 1 1/2 hours driving to and from theater. Very frustrating and would not go back to this theater again.

Went to see star wars in 3D imax and it was the same as the theater at the Cape Cod Mall with the exception of sound quality. Way overpriced a month after the movie came out ($17.75), dirty, and lacking in a choice at the concession stand. Just a huge disappointment.

Both sides of the concession area should be open. The lines are ridiculous. So unless you are at least 30 minutes or more early, you will miss some of your movie. 4D was excellent!!!!!

This was our first time going to see a movie in the theater since COVID started in March 2020 and we were worried about it a little but our worries were gone very quickly because all the staff from the ticket cashier, the ticket collector, the server of the popcorn, everyone, they were all very careful in practicing their protocol and other than 2 of the 8 people carrying on a conversation during the movie(until another viewer asked them to be quiet) it was very reassuring and we felt safe to be there. Oh and the movie was a 5 star too. It is okay to watch movies at home but the experience of being in a HUGH theater with surrounding sounds can't be replaced.

I love the recliner seats. We go to the Lux Level nostly.So we have lunch served and drinks etc. We pay at our seat just before the end of the movie. it's great if you push a button a waitress comes over and takes your order. Even in the reg theaters, all seats are recliners. No one is ever in your way. Heads are no longer an issue. And there is like 3 ft between you and the row in front of yo, if someone needs to pass. It is a great experience, especially if you've never been.

I find this practice of picking seats useless ,plus holds up ticket line significantly. Waste of time. People reserve & no show. Had to pick 3 seats in last row- hard for me to walk up- plus my recliner seat broken! And most of seats remained empty.Do away with this . This is genuinely my favorite movie theater. I’ve been going since I was a kid, and they have made great renovations in the past handful of years. Compared to AMC, Showcase Cinema is so much better in my opinion. The staff is friendly, the theaters are clean and the seats recline and are so comfortable! Overall, a very good movie experience

Been going to this theater since I was thirteen. It'll always be my favorite. Its mad big considering they have three levels. The employees are pretty friendly and theres lots of concessions, the design is nice and you have lots of space to wait until your movie starts. Also the reclining seats are great. Better than the braintree theater where they have reclining seats where you feel closterphobic and that one smells, here its very clean.

I'very visited a few times in the last 6 months, and it seems they'very been renovating the whole time. This not only affects the appearance of the place, but the last time I visited there was so much construction noise it was impossible to watch the film. It took several trips up two floors to customer service (those customer service phones are also out of service...) before I was offered a refund and complimentary tickets. What happened after the first time I complained is anyone's guess... They tried to make it right, but an inadequate theatre combined with a lack of customer service leaves A LOT to be desired.

They do a great job making sure they are the premier Cinema in Massachusetts. Another thing they're still doing very well is keeping ahead of the game in being the most expensive theater in Massachusetts. I'll only go here if I have to with friends, but I do like coming here.

This showcase is pretty good. They have huge selection of movies and are located right off the highway. Being next to some local eaters makes it a great date spot. Lots of parking and pretty clean facility. The staff is so so. I think customer service is valued by public but not as much by young individuals. Sometimes theu are slow and not very engaging. That's something I expect though. Get there a few min early cause it is an adventure to go downstairs if your movie is down there.

Seats are smaller and harder for effects but not comfortable at all. They serve alcoholic beverages there that you can bring to your seat which is nice. Food options is like every other theater. My friend and I came here to see Solo (the movie was ok at best). The theater itself, though...I had a wonderful experience. The employees were all friendly and helpful. The seats are tied for first place, along with the seats at the Cinemark in Orlando, for most comfortable. The bathroom was incredibly clean, and even had flowers! I purchased our tickets through Fandango, so I'm not sure if it's an ongoing promotion via that sales channel, or if it's included with all ticket purchases, but we both got a free regular sized popcorn! If I lived in the Boston area, I'd make this my go-to theater.

I’ve been going to this movie theater since I was a child. It’s nostalgic now when bringing my daughter. It’s nice to see the new upgrades the theater has done. They now provide 3D, iMax, and Lux. They’ve also placed a bar right in the center of the theater so even if you are not entering a lux film you can still enjoy a drink. An employee by the name of Jemimah was very helpful and her customer service was awesome!

How do i talk to anyone from this location? Their phone number is an automated system with terrible voice recognition. The AI ran me in circles for 30 minutes until i decided to take my business elsewhere. Reclining seats with separation! It's like Trump himself built a wall between you and the row in front of you. Plenty of room for people to cross in front of you so they don't bump your feet while you're reclining. If you're in Lux Level, the food is excellent and the drinks rock.

Edge of the seat experience We went for Spiderman far from home MX4D. Within seconds of start we got some thrilling shakes and punches. It was real fun and edge of the seat experience. My son said it's good we don't have popcorn or anything. The kind of thrilling feel you will get is more than what you get in a typical 4D ride. Moreso, it is going on for entire movie length. Every action scenes, thunder strikes, whooshing sound of air, water sprinkle and what not. Punches and shakes are sometimes sudden and make you laugh out loud while shaken as well. Every penny worth and more.

Bought tickets online. Arrived to broken kiosks and general confusion. Took 20 minutes to get my tickets. Then it turned out they're whole payment system was down so refreshments were cash only. I had to walk to the gas station to get cash for the standard mediocre, carnie level, snack food (which I still adore because I'm a trash person that loves cheese fries). Staff seemed generally indifferent and pissed off about the payment situation. Management did nothing to help and seemed pretty lackadaisical. Actual theater was nice. Clean, comfy seats, good screen quality. Sounds rattled a bit, tough to tell if that was specifically that movie though. Plenty of parking? Upsides I guess.

Went to see solo in 4d. The girl at the concession stand was kind of stand offish, the kid who ripped the tickets didn't tell us which theatre or give us our glasses. The 4d experience was alright minus the seemingly random spraying of mist in your face. It is more distracting than immersive.

Nothing you want is ever available. Icee's are always crappy and drinks are watered down. The 4D theater was the biggest waste ever. Seats were EXTREMELY uncomfortable and they made a ton of squeaky noises that completely took away from the movie. Also went two times for the LUX and the staff took forever to serve. One hour for them to bring stuff out and another time the food turned out burnt. Not to mention the quality of food in general is very poor overall and choices are very basic. This theater has severely gone downhill!

The reserved seating options is wonderful, especially for movies that haven't been out very long. I didn't need to get to the theater early to get a spot or worry about finding enough spots together. I bought them online so I just had to pick them up when we got there, no waiting in line. The seats recline, plenty of arm room, and plenty of space to comfortably pass by to use the restroom for those like me who can't wait 2.5 hours. Recently my 4.5 year old son was diagnosed with a peanut and tree nut allergy. Needless to say I was very nervous going to our first movie as I didn't know if the food was safe to eat or if I had to worry about peanut MMS floating around out seats if the theater wasn't cleaned well. I've heard some horror stories about moms taking their kids to movies and having issues with cross contamination. Thankfully I found the staff to be wonderful. The manager looked through the ingredient book for the concession stand with us with the only concern being the ice cream and nuts that were open food. They found a staff member who had not touched the ice cream and he was very nice and quick to wash his hands and put new clothes on before getting us popcorn. After grabbing the popcorn we walked into a very clean theater, enjoyed a great movie as a family, and walked out knowing we'll come back for the next movie we want to see.

Above all it offers 4D seating which in my believe is the best way to watch a movie. 4D movies theaters are extremely hard to find and to have one that always have a movie in 4D is a plus. Pretty good theater but not great. Here's a quick guide to your viewing experience here. -there are a few different theater options including IMAX 2D, 3D, and "Lux". Lux offers electric recliners, food and bottle service. -there are food counters upstairs and downstairs. The service is very slow but I don't blame the kids working there. I'm sure they're getting min wage and if I were them I'd probably show up high af too. -food options include spring rolls (not good), chicken fingers (best option), fries, burgers, hot dogs, and pizza that looks dry and burnt. -you can't order more than one drink at a time, even if you have the ID for the person you're buying a drink for. That's just annoying. This place would be improved with better food options and better service. Unfortunately it's the best option in the area.

Some seats are recliner seats. This I love. Screen is Hugh and audio is sufficient. Tables to sit at on each floor to enjoy a snack or drink with a friend, family member, wide or husband etc. Fervor is great. Three floors. Escalators. Bathrooms are Hugh. They habe a membership club. On Tuesday I believe is senior citizen day. 5.00. I believe on Wednesdays show is 7.50 all day. Please check to verify.

Attended a movie here on 12/22/19. Star Wars - the Sunday night of opening weekend. Will never go back. It took 20 mins to get popcorn and a bottle of water. They were closing up one side of the concessions with a line a mile long on the other side of it. At 15 for a ticket and roughly 20 for popcorn and a bottle of water, you would think that there would be at least enough staff there to make it happen at a reasonable time. Also, while waiting there were French fries spilled in front of the entrance to the customer service booth. I watched managers step over them and never pick them up. Disgusting. Finally, the recliners are ok. Not as wide as other theatre’s. Also they don’t don’t go back as far as other places. There are too many better run and more comfortable theatre’s in the area to rush back here.

Went to Randolph to watch Lion King in 4D and the entire time all I could hear was cars racing... I couldnt understand what it was..... come to fine out! It was Fast & Furious playing in the theater room next to where I was watching the Lion King. That made the entire experience terrible! Back to braintree AMC I go. This theater has to do better. Also! Every time I go someone is getting arrested. A guy was removed from the theater one time and his child was left in the seat next to mine... offered the child to call his mom.... another time someone was being locked up in the parking lot!...crazy!

Some of the reviews I am reading on here are borderline comical. People have their panties in a bunch because, the theater was cold or, my popcorn did not have enough butter. I guess you can't please everyone. Half the reviews were littered with grammar errors and spelling mistakes. Uneducated people looking for free handouts if you ask me. I thought the theater was great. Comfortable seats, courteous staff, and my popcorn had pleanty of butter, you know why? Because I asked for it, like a normal person.

It’s still a fantastic theater! My girlfriend and I went and saw Wrath Of Man in IMAX and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Comfortable seats, astounding picture and seat shaking sound. You could hear the shell casings hitting the floor with impeccable clarity. We can’t wait to go back!

This place is bad!! I waited an hour in line and the seats were dirty. Also next to me was 4 kids and one of them was playing a duck noise during the movie. I told them to stop and they didn’t. They were distracting the whole movie theater. When they got up it was so loud.

I've been here only once so far, and the experience was... interesting. Good: There are lots of food options. In addition to the regular movie theater concessions, this one also has an extensive Ben & Jerry's selection, along with delicious B&J milkshakes! They also have a Famous Famiglia's and a Nathan's. The staff are super friendly and efficient. Bad: The theater we saw the movie in smelled like urine. Okay... not the whole theater, but the entranceway did, and that's disgusting. Yuck. Weird: The front entrance is not an entrance. You have to drive to the back and then go in through the back entrance. Then there are three floors to the theater, and the second and third floors are BELOW the first floor. You may have to descend two flights of escalators to get to your theater.

I having been coming to this Theatre since it open. It is a good Theatre. They do need to hire more help for the refreshment stand. I love the Senior Citizens perks. Popcorn and a drink for a discount. Discount days for Senior Citizens. I'd like to see more African American movies featured and stay for longer periods of times.

I will never return to the Randolph movie theater after the rude service we encountered. I purchased 3 tickets to see Superman and the agent at the desk was very rude. I am with my son and uncle downstairs waiting to get into the theater to see Superman vs Batman and another agent asked me what I was doing waiting. Mind you there were other customers waiting around like I was and he didn't ask them for their tickets like he had asked us. We then enter the theater and sit down to find out that we were kicked out of our seats. Confused I go to ask another agent and she was very rude and said well you have to go upstairs and figure that out. I then go upstairs and the agent that sold me the tickets said to her co worker "Oh you about to have a complaint and started laughing". At this point I am very very upset. I told the agent I wanted my money and left. Never again will I go to this theater. My son was so upset and sad that we were treated with such disrespect. TRAIN YOUR AGENTS TO HAVE BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

Very nice cinema with a decent variety of films. The Lux Level is the best, it spoils you to other movie viewing experiences. Good amount of parking, on-site ticketing is available, you can also purchase tickets online but then you have to print them out when you get to the theater, which can be a bit of a hassle (broken printers, no paper in printer, etc.). Lots of junk food and candy. They serve alcohol. The bathrooms are okay. It's not perfect but it's pretty clean for a movie theater. The people working there are pretty friendly and in the Lux Level just great!

This place needs help. 9 dollars for popcorn? The mezzanine is shut down most of the time and has limited options. This place was just renovated pre covid. You can pre order tickets and food on the app. This place just needs a BIG BOOST.

A little pricey but the seating is very comfortable. If I have one true gripe it's about the concessions. The price is average for a movie theater I suppose but when you get a popcorn you have to butter and salt it yourself. I don't like that because, if you go to the older theaters, they put half the popcorn in first add a little salt and little butter in it, top it off then put a little more salt and butter on it. Doing it yourself it's just all salted butter on the top and nothing in the middle or on the bottom. I know that sounds petty but when one is spending $22 for a popcorn, candy and a soda it kind of isn't.

Love this place! I ordered my tickets online and there is a area where you can swipe the card that you use (there are also other methods) and get your tickets. The seats are sooooo comfortable! And I like the prices.

great theater! super comfortable seating. clean. they serve alcoholic beverages although extremely pricey of course. it's near local restaurants too so it's a great area for a date night or a family movie night. Very spacious I believe three levels. This is definitely my favorite theater in the Boston area. I also like that it's never over crowded or packed

I would rate five for the place, it's wonderful and as far as I concern the best seats on south shore. But this time I'll leave four for the general staff; Most of ticket sellers and people at Nathan's don't treat customers respectfully, specially at Nathan's. I hope something can be done because I'm not the only one unsatisfied by the service down there. I'll definitely leave five once issue is addressed!

On October 22, 2016 at 9:30 my boyfriend and I went to the randolph movie theater to was the new Madea Halloween movie, we purchased our tickets online and went we went to go watch our movie we where given horrible service. First the ticket lady yelled at us because we didn't know where our theater was and second they didn't give us a choice on where to sit we had to sit way in the front on uncomfortable seats and when we said to watch I was simply turning of my phone and one of the managers started yelling at me saying I'm rude and I'm disturbing everyone when in reality I was simply trying to turn off my cell phone. Never I have ever been treated this way at a movie theater. That's why Braintree AMC is way better and know how to treat people

This movie theatre is one of the better movie going experiences in the Boston area. It is completely worth the drive and a place where they have several viewing experiences for different movie showings. The place is 3 floors. It's a great experience especially if you are simply going to watch a movie.

Very comfortable chairs and the sound was great. I just couldn't believe there were no lights on before the trailers started. I and everyone else had to use cell phone lights to find our assigned seats. If I didn't have one it would have been impossible to find my seat.

Normally this is my go to theater but tonight it was horrible! Buying the tickets the girl was nice and efficient. Getting snacks was a bit of a nightmare. It was the guys first night (which I worked retail and have sympathy for him, so in my book it wasn't his fault.) He had no idea how to work the computer, ring in rewards cards or even what the product was (had to redirect him to the proper drink three times) why would you leave him alone? Management should at the very Least have someone with a person on their first shift. At least long enough to learn the computer. Thank goodness I'm an honest person because the guy was convinced that I already paid for my stuff. His first night was going so rough I really didn't want to make it worse. Then my movie was supposed to start at 11:50...... well it's 12:25 and still hasn't started. Hmm wonder if it's the projectors first night also.

The decibel level was so high in the IMAX cinema (Saturday's 4:30 pm 7/29 showing of Dunkirk) that my seat was actually vibrating. Even with earplugs in my ears (which I happen to keep in my purse for emergencies like this), I heard all of the dialogue perfectly well. I am pretty sure the hearing of everyone who sat in this theater was damaged.

Was watching Avengers: Endgame. Pretty much the biggest movie of the year. A fire alarm goes off and they evacuate. Ok, it happens. That's not in their control. How they handle it is however and that was terrible. Staff told us before we left that we would be allowed back in to pick up the movie where it left off. After leaving us out in the cold for close to half an hour, our only contact some poor low level employee with no info, the manager finally comes waddling up only to tell us that they had no intention of letting us back in, and tried to tell us that the appropriate remedy was passes only good in one specific theater that cannot be used on another avengers showing (which is all that is showing in that theater) because it does not accept passes until several weeks have passed. Oh and they can't be used on any online booking either so it's impossible to get good seats.

The theater has large seats, stadium seating and lots of parking, but none of these good qualities are what highlights an experience there. About 90% of the time that I visit this theater, the lights will stay on throughout the movie, unless someone gets up, asks a custodian to shut them and then is lucky enough to have found a competent worker. Today, I had a similar experience, one that was the straw that broke the camel's back. I went to see "Let's Be Cops" and 10 minutes before the film started i specifically sought out the manager to ask that there be a vigilant effort to ensure that the lights will be off during the movie. After his acknowledgement, i proceeded to find a comfortable seat, watch previews, and then wait in hope. Ten minutes after the film had started, the lights were still on, so I went outside and asked one of the theater attendants to turn off the lights. Another 10 minutes passes with no change to the ceiling lights. At this point, I went to the customer service desk to demand a refund. The manager was quite apologetic and insisted that the lights are normally on an automated routine, yet I asked, "So, if that is the case why does this happen ninety percent of the time?" Which he the responded by upgrading my refund to a Lux level purchase. I suppose the summation of this wall of text is that despite the comforts a large theater like this is able to afford, the shear incompetence of the staff makes this venue an average experience.

The atmosphere here is just lovely. It reminds you of a night out with someone you enjoy! I live going to this theatre, especially at night. The sounds enchant you, and the giantic screens ensure fire a great movie-watching experience. The service is great as well. I will recommend sneaking in your snacks, for the price is very inflated at the door.

Atmosphere is awesome, seating comfortable & movies always shown in digital HD clear quality. Place is clean & staff very helpful & friendly. Reason for only 3 stars???? Prices reflect all provisions & extras & then some. I think cost of food could come down slightly (I do understand that this is a huge part of profit) if not significantly. Price of tickets should be lowered for certain days & times (I think there's some off peak specials but not enough to be known or accommodating to most people. Would love to see a couple days that lux service is offered too under 21 patrons.

Updated, spacious and plenty of refreshments to choose from. Their lines run slow at the refreshment stand and the back of the seats are a bit stiff and don't recline all the way, but still a vast improvement.

Friendly staff decent service comfortable seats but the theater always gets way too hot. With their leather seats I always find myself covered in sweat by the time the movie is over. On a couple of occasions I actually left the theater when seated in the farther back seats that were higher in the theater because the heat was too much.

Got StarPass because of this place, and I intend to use it a lot. Also, try one of their special drinks at the bar. Very tasty

Most amazing theater, goes down 3 stories underground, by far the most comfortable reclining seats I've sat in so far! The movie theater I grew up going to was a showcase cinemas which was replaced by a cinemark years ago, which I'm perfectly happy with but this theater was easily 10x better and the nostalgia factor makes it 100x better. I really enjoyed the movie I say there tonight (Mile 22) but I truly loved the theater experience it's self. The self service ticket machines were super easy to use and don't freeze up like some other brands do. And especially important to note. There was a bathroom every where I turned my head to look, no more sprinting across the building to use the restroom to avoid missing too much of your movie.

Great cinema to watch a movie. Employees have always been friendly and helpful. Reserve your seat on-line and arrive at the exact start time. No more battling for seats or getting there 45 minutes early so your not stuck in the first row looking straight up. Recently the seats and isles have been dirty (left over popcorn, cups, sticky floor, etc). Was never this bad in the past. They have a full food menu and alcohol bar in the lobby but I just stick with the basics, popcorn and candy.

If you are excited about a new movie, go to this theatre and see it in the 4D IMAX theater. There's no better viewing experience. Only thing I would add is a Lux Level with servers... At which point, I would just start investing in the building on a weekly basis.

Crying babies in an adult movie, people sneaking in the theater 1/3rd of the way through the film to sit down and sit on their phone the entire movie. Place smelled like a homeless person, and they didn't turn the AC on. This used to be a great movie theater, now it sucks, and the people who attend have zero respect for other patrons

I arrived late for my IMAX movie showing and customer service had no problem exchanging my tickets for the next non-IMAX showing of our choice and refunding the difference. The seats were quite comfortable and the audio quality in our theater was quite good. Plenty of snacking and dining selections.

I am not a fan of this theater. I have gone many times over the years and each time I'm reminded why I choose other theatres over this one. This place needs a bath. Some of the screens are blurry. The IMAX seats are super awkward and uncomfortable. You cant adjust them, and they lean back too much. I hate ordering tickets here because the seating is odd in some of the rooms so you think you are ordering good seats until you sit down and realize your viewing angle is bad.

This is one of the best theatres around it's greater area. We used to travel from Boston to Randolph for movies more than 15 yrs ago. The new upgraded theatre seats with the power recliners are very comfortable and the theatre serves alcohol and has an expanded menu. Join Star pass for free movie tickets, free drinks and popcorn and free refills on popcorn. (as of 11/8/2016)The theatre does need to get the Now Showing billboard back up and get rid of the advertisement for the upgrades though.

Horrible experience.....the audience constantly talks whether it's a matinee or a regular show, young and old!. And the staff only shows up when they want to collect money for a charity. It's a horrible movie going experience that is always ruined. I'm off to greener, more respectable pastures!!

They completely renovated the theater. All new carpet, all new seats that are very comfy, and a new 4d theater that adds a new experience to the movie. Great upgrade to the place.

Went to see the movie 10 rings the movie was great the 4d experience was ok my only thing about that is the chairs skweeked so loud it distracted me from movie. The concession stand was horrible only two people and one of them couldn't figure out the payment process and then they ran out of supplies so one person was taking orders and the line backed up and I missed some of the movie and in the mens room one of the sinks was out of soap during a pandemic not good. when you pay 24 dollars a ticket it should be on point and it was not sorry but I did not think that it was worth that much to be worried about washing my hands this is my first time and just thought it would of been better plus people were yelling during movie .But more importantly there should be soap in bathrooms understaffed seems to be the problem there

My husband & I went here for our anniversary this past Friday 10/20/17 to see Madea's Boo2. The MOVIE WAS EXCELLENT. But the door person who collects the tickets was MOODY & RUDE! I had asked her a question about how long before the movie started she we allowed to go in & find our seats? she rolled her eyes and was snappy when responding to my question. If you don't like your job you shouldn't work there .people come out to enjoy themselves not get treated poorly by employees.

I went on a Tuesday, and it wasn't busy at all. The lady at the desk was very pleasant and helpful, even saved me a few bucks. I was a little nervous about the movies because of the whole covid thing, but it turned out great and no one sat close to us. I will definitely come back again soon.

Visits can be a hit or miss. Cashiers are pleasant. Concession can be slow when it's really busy so it's good to show up early. Reclining seats are amazing! I have fallen asleep a time or two (oops!). There are often large posters in the lobby that can be used for photos. Truly enjoy watching my movies here! It is my go-to movie theatre.

It's vast. It has alcohol. But it also is operating on the theme park nanny model. I couldn't get a drink for my wife. She had to come out of the movie. They needed ID. Which is beyond reasonable. Understaffed. Next step is limiting popcorn butter intake for fear of health-based lawsuits. But it's a modern megaplex. You can get lost in it.

Great place, very clean, plenty of parking and right off the highway. They have a LUX level that serves food and alcohol; a lobby bar so you can bring a drink to your seat and a lot of movie options since they have more than 10 theaters.
