I go to the Lowell Showcase on average about 50X per year so, yeah, I like it. Starting this summer are $6.50 Wednesdays for Seniors & that includes 3-Ds! Tuesdays have a special rate for everyone of $8. Plenty of bathrooms. Huge parking lot. With my free-to-enroll Starpass, I accumulate points, occasionally ending up with free tickets.

It's very clean, and it's not very busy the service is amazing the only time I hade a mix up with my tickets was when I went out to see "how to be a Latin lover" but instead I got "the circle" but that's the only time I got the mix up but other than that it's a great place

My granddaughter and I went to see Wonder Woman 84 last Sunday. I bought tickets online along with popcorn and a drink. We wore our masks and the employees all wore masks and gloves. The seats around us were blocked. They gave a little speal about how they clean. We love the recliner heated seats. All and all a great experience. We also enjoyed the movie.

Great facility, always clean. Stadium seating in most of their auditoriums makes for a pleasant viewing experience, especially since they installed plush recliner seats. Concession workers get a bit flustered during peak exhibition hours, and the food is what you would expect from a theater. My advice is sticking to the popcorn.

Watched the new star wars couth staff and nice seats that recline. Small popcorn and some skittles with a pop will set you back 20$ but i enjoy this theatre and would reccomend it to friends its something like 13$ a ticket so if your having a date expect almost a 100$ tab with beer and alcohol if you like to facilitate your girlfriend or boyfriend. 5 out of 5 forks from the beast happy viewing.

I only went twice to this location, once for a kids movie and once for a regular movie and I had a good experience both times. The seats are super comfortable and that makes the experience even better. I didn't purchase any food as I went there after dinner. I like that they have a bar and it could be a potential hang out place before the movie starts. Plenty of parking.

HORRIBLE, I WILL NEVER GO BACK! My car was broken into last night at this movie theater, i watched the movie which was enjoyable but then came out to my window smashed glass everywhere and missing items. I called the police and when they came they had told me there was another break in a couple days ago and that the security there hadn't been doing their job.... i didn't see the security drive around once.

Lovely place. Plenty of space to roam around in the main lobby, food counter in the easiest place to see with a bar on the side and an arcade. The food is great and has a wide variety so you won't get bored of the old and simple popcorn w/ soda. But like all movie theater food, its quite pricy. As for the actual theaters: Plenty of distance from others Reclining, comfy, leather (I think) chairs And cup holders :) You won't have a bad experience unless you are in a peculiar situation.

I went to this theater with my GF this past labor day because I had a couple free passes to use up. I was expecting the usual slacker/mouthbreather service that I've become accustomed to at most retail & service businesses. You know how a lot of young people working jobs like this seem to HATE being there? Happy to say my experience with the staff here far exceeded my expectations. I couldn't prebuy my tickets because I had a paper free pass. The gentleman at the ticket counter was fast and efficient and actually seemed glad we were there. Next, the man that takes the tickets was equally cheery. "Did everyone just get a raise?" I wondered. Finally, we went to the bar to order two beers. The bartender this day was outstanding. Genuine cheerful banter and wonderful sense of humor without being annoying or awkward or fake like most bar tenders. A couple hours later I went back for a another beer to share and the same bartender remembered me from earlier. More cheerful banter about me having to share my beer with my GF etc. The theater was super clean inside and out and the seats were better than my couch at home. It was a long move but I wanted to stay longer. Well done Showcase Lowell. Well done. I'm deducting one star because the medium popcorn was crazy expensive. I thought there was some mistake.

Stadium sitting is great, but I do not find the seats as comfortable as other theaters -- my feet do reach the ground (i am 5'4") and my neck is not in a good position.

Had I reviewed the Showcase Cinemas in Lowell, MA years ago it would have easily received a 4 out of 5, but boy has it changed. They have taken a page out of Chunky's book and have revamped the theater from top to bottom. Lounge style seats, a bar on site, a VR station, newer arcade games, and a fresher look really makes this a standout location. My only complaint, fewer seats per screen because of the reclining lounge-style seats, not enough of an issue if you book your tickets ahead of time. Worth the visit. P.S. On busier days give yourself an additional 10+min on top of what you had planned if you are planning on getting popcorn and other nibbles. Those lines are known to move slowly.

Very nice state-of-the-art theater with recliner seating and high quality sound and visual quality. They serve alcohol which is a plus for some people, I don't drink but I imagine it's very expensive which is expected. I love their frequent special event screenings of classic films and anime. Not a fan of reserved seating but that's just me.

The XPlus theater is awesome, although pricey. It has large leather recliners, reserved seating, a very large screen, and an awesome sound system. The theater overall is very clean. The renovations made last year are a big improvement

Pros: good selection of entrees, snacks, and drinks. Arcade games. Wide selection of movies shown. Fair prices. Cons: Very, very dirty. Without fail there is always popcorn, food, and trash in the seats. Often people seem to stuff their wrappers and trash into the sides of the chairs, so you can’t see it when they are sitting upright, but then you are sitting in trash when the seat is reclined.

I was buying popcorn and snacks from a guy named Shaun he was a pleasure to work with me. I was taking too long with my group of friends to decide what we want and when I felt a little bad for it when I came to a decision he told me to take my time and it didnt bother him at all. Overall he made me feel better, more relaxed and made the experience great for me when I was out trying to have a good time. I've always been to this theater I'll go out of my way to keep coming to showcase, the employees are always happy and it's always the funniest experience thanks!

This vintage movieplex is one of my local favorites. The theaters are spacious. The screens are large. The sound is excellent. There are many options reflecting a range of tastes. I was there recently and they even had a Bollywood film playing. It is right off the Bruce Freeman Trail so one might bike there. (It would be nice if there were places to lock up bikes.) They have a spectacular discount on Tuesdays.

Ticket pirices online show "standard" show times. When you arrive some of those showtimes turn out to be "xplus" only shows. $52.50 for 3 tickets. Ouch, was not expecting that. I could have got the standard price show but would of had to wait an hour for the next showtime. Kind of felt duped. Everything is very overpriced.

Catching a film early on a weekday can be very enjoyable. No crowds and the place is still clean. It has been updated since I went a long time ago. Large seats, leg room, and power recliners almost seem luxurious compared to the old chairs used. Domestic beer and snacks with insane markups (no stars removed, just expected).

Loved the seats. Reclining and nice but if you buy tickets from the kiosk they print out seat numbers and everyone just kind of sits where they want so when we went in a little late for the movie we just sat in 2 open seats because our seats were taken. Four senior citizens came in about 10 minutes late for the movie and created a huge deal about people being in their seats and interrupted the movie for everyone. So they would shut up we gave up our seats to them and we ended up sitting on the floor. Case in point DONT ASSIGN SEAT NUMBERS

I really like the xplus movies. The reclining seats are very comfortable and there are no obstructions (i.e. someone's head). I enjoyed it over imax and it is my second choice for watching a movie (first choice being at home on my couch in my pajamas).

I was able to watch the movie I payed for but it stopped in the middle and the screen turned off. Eventually after ten mins. or so it came back on. On a better note I was satisfied with the size of the large popcorn, it was a bang for my buck!

We live in lawrence and rather go the movie theatres in lowell. The seats are way more comfortable and there are more rest rooms near your show case room.

Fine theater, but when they trplaced the standard seats with recliners, there are 1/2 the seats. So, now you have to reserve seats ahead of time, but the website is horrible! Website needs to allow logon with individual account, store CC and starpass number. I want to input the show I want to see and how many people are going, then website recommends good times to go and instantly shows me the available seats. I pick the seats, and get a QR symbols to show to the ticket taker. They whole process needs to take less than 1 minute, because buying tickets at the box office never took longer than that.

They always have a variety of movies but other then that, this place is slightly below average. It probably only deserves 2 stars but I gave it 3 out of the convenience in location. The misbehavior of teenagers always seems to be a problem during most viewings. I usually never go during an opening weekend of a movie because I know the movie will most likely be ruined by them. Also the food is way over priced and not fresh especially the popcorn. I've had 4 free movie tickets for this theatre for well over 2 years now, and have only been once due to primarily teenage behavior issues. Hopefully they could put something into place to Crack down on all the thugs and hood rats while the movie is running.

Recent (within the last couple of years) upgrades like full bar and much bigger seats, etc are nice but in terms of the actual impact on the customer experience it's a mixed bag. For example the new seats are way more comfortable, but there are way fewer of them, so movies I want to see are more frequently sold out before I even get there. The alternative is to buy online (and reserve seats) before going to the theater but there's an added fee for that, and the prices are already too high so the added fee feels like a real slap in the face.

This place is so ghetto. Don't bother buying a movie ticket because no one checks. Soda was awful because employees can't be bothered to change CO2 tanks. To top it off there was trash in my seat since no one cleaned the theater. The only good part was the chicks next to me had a 12 pack of beer & shared. Go anywhere else to watch a movie. Especially if your bringing kids.

ventilation is a requirement of human comfort, these jokers seem to be saving money on that comfort, I cannot abide such expensive entertainment that does not encompass the minimum legal requirement for fresh air as a matter of health and human safety, it smelled like urine in cinema 14 for the avengers, and it was so humid I was sticking to the seat, turn on the AC showcase!

Great family movie experience, with comfortable seats, average quality audio, expected snack and drink selection, bar options, and an arcade. Since it has been renovated, this movie theater offers what is expected from a modern cinema, and delivers it well. I have three complaints, the cleanliness of the theater rooms, bathrooms, and snack bar can be sub par. Although the seats recline and are comfortable, the arm rests can not go up to form a love seat like at AMC, which is disappointing for many people on a date. Also, the service at the snack bar can be very slow and unorganized. Overall, it is a good movie experience for the family. If you are looking for the perfect theater for a date, go to most AMC's, if you are looking for the best film experience, visit an IMAX for superior audio and visual quality.

Very comfortable seating, excellent views from those seats, and nice atmosphere. Only issue is, with the excellent seating there are much fewer seats and you have to reserve tickets for popular movies, especially for decent seating.

Went on a Saturday afternoon to see Lego Batman movie. Ticket line was quick, assigned seating. Concession stand line were long, we stood in a line that didn't move for 5+ minutes, finally gave up and went to our seats. Seats are recliners with cup holders. We had seats in the top row, there is a half wall between rows. The wall was high enough that my son (9) couldn't see the whole screen if he reclined in his seat. I headed back to the concession stand 15 minutes into the movie and no one was there, it was perfect.

A lot of the seats that were reported to be reserved were completely empty in the theater, which was frustrating. Also, the fact that they even have those nosebleed "general admission" seats in the front is a crime against cinema. Nonetheless, everything else was great, and I give their sound system major props.

I went to the theater today with my family at about 3pm, not busy at all. As I went to purchase my popcorn and slushy drink I realized the Cambodian teenager forgot to give me one. No problem! I politely asked her for one! After I asked her for a straw her response was "It's over there". The container was less than six inches from her. There was a person to the left of me purchasing food so it would be rude to reach over her and grab the straws. I expressed this to her and she angrily grabbed the straws and said here! I just smiled and said Thank you! This generation of kids needs customer service!

Left my phone behind and had to go back after seeing a movie here. When we got back to the theater we went directly to guest services, where there were several staff members standing around eating cake in the open. 2 employees on the left asked if we needed help and we explained I had left my phone behind, then the two on the right of the counter one of them dressed like a manager asked if she could help us. Clearly she hadn't been listening to what I had just explained to the two employees standing right next to her! We were very polite the whole time, there was no reason for them to act so unprofessional. One of the kid employees stopped eating his cake for a moment and told us we could just go look so we did. Obviously they don't sweep the theater after movies because it was sitting right on the seat, this was an hour after the movie ended. I will not be returning to such rudeness!

Showcase Cinema Lowell is your standard multi screen theater. Just what you would expect and nothing more. They do have a bar so you can sip a beer or glass of wine while you wait to meet your friends or while you watch your movie. All the theaters are reserved seating with faux leather electric recliners that can comfortably fit a large American butt. The concession stand has all the stock items. Soda popcorn nachos with glowing orange cheese flowing over the top etcetera. They do have gelato (ice cream) which is nice but I haven't tried it so I can't comment on the quality. They have a Starpass program that they recently fixed so it is not completely confusing anymore. They got a whole new ticketing system just a few weeks ago. The whole building got redone starting about 2 years ago and they are still putting on some finishing touches so it is all still bright and Shiney. Nothing is beat up yet. The only issues I have are that once in a while the volume levels are insanely loud during the previews and sometimes the center channel is not loud enough during the movie so it can be challenging to hear quiet parts of the dialog. Especially after the deafening previews. I do still come here most all the time for my non art house movies because I live crazy close to it.

Your movie-going experience will be very hit or miss, depending on how many rude, noisy, and obnoxious people are in the theater with you. Unfortunately the city of the Lowell has a lot of these people so its risky to see a movie here. You might want to go to the new theater in Littleton instead.

Fri 4/27 trash was overflowing when we arrived and was even worse when we left after a 2.5 hour movie. No excuse for this. Otherwise, it's a great theater with comfortable assigned seating leather chairs.

I've always felt that AMC was a better cinema than showcase and would wish there was an AMC closer to where I live. Than the showcase near me started to upgrade it's theater and added nice reclining seats. Today I was close to the showcase in Lowell so we went there. This cinema looks great, has several arcades to play if you go early before your movie, a full bar for alcoholic drinks and the staff were so patient with us when we had to test the soda to make sure they were diet. I would recommend this place and will definitely go back.

Great reclining seats. They are open during covid. It is very quite due to the pandemic. We went there on a Saturday night and paid $13 per person. You need to wear masks unless you are enjoying food and drink in your seats. They still sell food and drinks. In the middle of the movie, one staff came and checked the customers -I think- if we obey the rules. Clean restrooms. I only deducted 1 star because the movie's sound was a bit off. The characters voice level was too low compared to background music. I think that is related to the sound system of the theatre. We weren't able to hear the character's voices well because background music was too dominant. We asked if they can fix it, but nothing changed... enough parking space for an army...

Bar inside in the cinema is a nice touch. We got tickets for seats in the "x plus" theater, pretty comfy with recliner option. Screen and sound were great, guy at the ticket counter was super friendly, but bathrooms were gross. Some stalls were clean-ish, but the bathrooms smelled strongly of urine.

My brand new micheal kors wallet fell out of my bag last night while at this thearter. I realized the next day it was missing. Trying to get someone on the phone to see if it had been found took a while but once I reached a human being I was assured they had found my wallet and to come get at my earliest convenience. Pretty standard big chain movie theater with the pros and cons of that. Nothing to differentiate it from an AMC or similar. Popcorn is usually ok, but occasionally you'll be picking burnt bits out of it. It's got a full bar if you're in to that for your movies.

This place needs a clean up ! I was in theater 6 today and saw that there were cobwebs! I mean is it not a public place and didn’t people pay for a clean and comfortable experience then who gave them the right to leave it unhealthy to sit around. Also they have poor management who can’t notice that the number of registers need to have associates as well. It gets crowded with 2 people serving 50people in two registers when there are six of them. Overall I rate the place below average for the price.

Real Nice face lift the I MAX Theatre is real nice , the prices are fair for the actual movie the only down fall is how high the prices are on the concessions, like popcorn, drinks , no wonder why people sneak food and drinks in..Popcorn is 7 bucks .Water is 5 bucks , Pepsi is 5 bucks, Candy is 4 bucks so 14 bucks per person X 4 kids 52 bucks so instead we go to Walmart buy these same things for 4 bucks each X 4 is 16 bucks go figure 52 or 16 pretty easy decision there.

This movie theater is really nice and newly renovated. My husband I used to go to this theater before it was renovated and even then the seating and theaters were very spacious and comfortable. After the renovations there is assigned seating in all the theaters and the seats all recline. Also the Food Services are better now and I believe you can also go to their bar before the movie begins. Pricing wise their prices are cheaper than AMC movie theaters. Also if you are a director Starr Pass number you can get free refills on your popcorn no matter what size you buy and there are other perks I believe. They also have a point system so that you can get free popcorn and drinks and food items when you get enough points. The staff is very accommodating and they keep the theaters clean.

I am very unhappy with this Movie Theater, We went to the 12:30 show. Total of us 7. We went to get popcorn and guess what? The popcorn was STALE. So I said to the Gentleman waiting on us, I do not want this one do you have any fresh popcorn ? He said sorry we don't they are all the same, We pop all the popcorn the night before so it is not fresh. Okay so you want us to pay good money for popcorn that is not fresh? The sad part about it is your own employee tells the customer that the popcorn is Stale and your trying to sell it to customers as fresh popcorn. I will not be going back that is for sure and I will be making sure, I tell all My Family and Friends not to go there because it is false advertising. You need to make sure you put on the sign the popcorn is not fresh it is popped the night before,

Raining Sunday afternoon, over 20 people waiting to purchase popcorn and drinks and there were only two cashiers. Slow service. On top of that, I grab a box of candies which are on the candy stand in the middle of the hallway, and I had to wait on line for about 10 minutes because neither the bar or customer services could ring a box of candies. We wanted to see Sky Fall on a Friday night. Not that many people were there for the 9:40 show, however, we got there a bit early since we finished up dinner quicker than expected. We saw people were going in to theater 1 for Ski Fall, so we followed, and were allowed to get in at the ticket collection podium. We soon found out that the previous movie just finished in that theater and the cleaning crew were still working to clean up the place. We were told to stay away, so we moved to the entrance hall. Few minutes later, a woman came and ordered out out, which we didn't know she meant all the way out of the theater area all together. We moved outside of theater 1, and she started to allow other people to enter, while standing in front of us, blocking us from re-entering. We were then told that we had to go stand in line, and re-enter the theater area. She was very rude and cold. We told her that it was unfair for us to go through the line again, since we were the first ones allowed to enter. She wouldn't listen, and when we insisted on our right to enter, she called the police to order us out... We were just out to have a relaxing evening, after a long day of work, but never expected to be treated so poorly, and be insulted by someone who suppose to provide good customer service. After what we went through, it totally killed our mood, so we got our refund, and never bothered to see the movie. I seriously think that there was a racial factor in this. I am a petite Asian woman. I did not confront them with that, which I wish I did. The managers were protective of their employee. They only said sorry that the employee had poor judgement, but never offered any compensation in return. No wonder people don't want to go to the theater for movies anymore. After this extremely unpleasant experience, I will never go back to this theater again. If you want to have a pleasant movie experience, go somewhere else where people actually welcome you and treat you with respect.

I saw Labyrinth 35th anniversary showing here. The place is huge and amazing. You have quite a food selection and there is even a bar. What? Yes Really. The food of course was way over priced as at any theater. But there was only about 12 ppl watching the movie and it was a great experience. Oh let's not forget those chairs OMG those chairs almost made me pass out due to how super comfy they are. You can be leaned back footrest up and there is still room for ppl to walk by without you having to rearrange yourself. I would def go to another movie at this theater. The staff was non talkative but got the job done. Oh and make sure if you are getting food you have time before your movie, I waited 10 min for a pretzel.

This theater is nice and clean. The only thing that I found different from other theaters is you don't smell popcorn when you enter. I also asked one of the theaters employees about the popcorn and he stated that they pop their popcorn a day early. And I did notice that many people didn't purchase popcorn.

The seats here have been majorly updated. I am not sure why everyone keeps going to the loop in methuen. These seats are comfier in my opinon. Popcorn and snacks are perfectly overpriced like every theatre. The people working look bored but are friendly. Everything you can expect from a movie theatre.

My family had to leave theater because we lost our seats due to sales clerk mistake. She sold us our tickets, our kids played games for an hour and then we proceeded in, the ticket kid took our tickets and gave us the stub and we went to find our seats. The previews were almost over when another family came in saying we were in their seats. They went to the manger and we lost our seats because we were sold tickets for the next night!!!!! So my kids didn't get to see the movie. I will NOT go to that incompetent place again!

Went to see Venom: Let there be Carnage with my daughter. The theater is clean and well maintained. The ticket price is on average for a movie nowadays. Concession stand prices are high but that's not going to change it seems. The staff was friendly and pleasant as well and I think the seats at this theater are the most comfortable around. Only problem was there was a group of 20-30 year old guys in the back that talked during the movie. Fortunately we weren't close to them so we didn't hear them that much but I wish people would stay home if they want to provide their own soundtrack. No one paid money to hear you during the movie so please be considerate of those around you.

This is a nice extra service newer cinema. There might even be "real food" choices for fairly normal prices. The sound for Toy Story 4 was really good. The new recliners are nice. In theater 7 row g even the edge isle seats have good viewing angles. They took AAA discount tickets.

Oh and by the way I have to take the seats way in the back because they were full and then halfway through the movie I went to the restroom and a lot of those seats weren't even taken what's up with that.

Its been awhile since I've been here and now they have a bar. The only thing I can complain about is that whoever was sitting in the back of the theater was smoking weed yes actually smoking weed inside of the theater.

Better since the seats were improved. Not a bad choice if there isn't any theater closer, although the AMC in Tyngsboro has nicer seats, is in a better location, and is generally cleaner. The Showcase building has plenty of parking and is right near the Cross Point tower. It has the typical terrible garbage food that most theaters have at the standard ridiculous markup.

A decent large scale cinema. They have made a lot of updates recently, including reclining seats in the auditoriums and a large, well stocked bar in the lobby. It is well maintained and clean. Although you can't reserve tickets via Fandango, you can through the theatre itself, and either print at home or pick them up at a kiosk when you arrive.

The seats and Isles are waaay more spacious than the AMC Theater in Methuen, MA. You can be reclined in your seat and anyone could exit isle without having to adjust the seats. No old warm beer smell yet like the AMC in Methuen. A small arcade area where you can waste an easy thirty minutes waiting for your movie to start. Also has a bar area where the twenty one plus can enjoy a couple drinks. There is your typically expensive theater type food here.

I'm pretty sure this was the worse run theatre I've ever been in. Opening weekend for Last Jedi. Many people like us purchased tickets online. Staff very hard to find, and the ones who were there seemed rude when we asked what we needed to do to see the movie. Plenty of movie-goers in the same boat, wandering around unsure what to do. But there was no question that the staff was really eager to sell the over priced popcorn and sodas. Other than that, largely unhelpful. Management should be sacked

Great place to see a movie! They have cozy, comfortable, electric recliner seats with plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy the movie. They have a full bar, and also serve a full menu of Starbucks coffees and cappuccinos as well as the usual movie snacks and drinks. If you get there early, you can kill time playing some of the many arcade games in the lobby while you wait for friends or for your movie to start. It's also close to several close by restaurants for an easy dinner and a movie.

Went there to see a movie last night, there were panhandlers inside the theater just before the movie started asking for money for some charity or another and I couldn't tell if they were legit or scammers. Just really, really weird and uncomfortable to be solicited like that after paying to see a movie. And, they hadn't turned on the air conditioning yet, and it was about 80 degrees inside the theater. Good thing I was wearing shorts, t-shirt and sandals.

Whatever you do, don't sit in the back row. There is a divider for the row in front of it that blocks the view from the bottom of the screen if you sit back in your seat even a little bit. It was a little frustrating and we just had to deal with it. Otherwise, it was a great experience. The seats were comfortable and the movie looked and sounded great. Wasn't unbearably hot like last time. Still recommend AMC more, though.

The movies were great especially when my popcorn mutated into a super popcorn hero called the incredible popcorn to fight off the yogurt cover raisin mad scientist. The battle was so epic that once the dust settled the only thing that was left was the fantasitc Captain Slushie man. But then the thing I expected the least happened. Captain Slushie had all the Infinity Nachos and brought back the incredible popcorn to stop the asteroid that was about to crash into the earth by kicking it and making it turn into skittles. I was a very happy man that day.

Good theater. Clean. They have the reclining arm-chair seating now so you have to get your tickets in advance. It wasn't freezing in the theater. My mum didn't wear the coat she brought. I commented that ot weirdly delt perfectly room temperature. We went on a Friday afternoon and the place was pretty empty. There's a bar now, but I don't know if you can sit with an alcoholic drink in the theater. I would have to find that out.

Paid for watching Wonder Woman, they gave me tickets to Transformers, and due to the movie name's not being listed outside of the theater, I was unable to discover this until the movie began. Now, I'm perfectly happy to watch Transformers, or would be, if it didn't prevent me from watching Wonder Woman due to me going away for a month when Wonder Woman had already been out for a while. Very unhappy.

They wouldn't let me have those seats when I was going to order it on the second try. They blocked those seats so I chose the first level past the handicapped seating. Thus the 4 stars rating.

Went here with about 15 people as a part of a staff outing. I've been to probably a hundred different theaters in my life (what can I say, I love the cinema) and this one definitely falls towards the bottom of the list. When we went (saw Zootopia), there were several young adults smoking weed in the lobby, but no one seemed to care who worked there. It was pretty late at night (after 10PM), so I guess maybe the theater is more laid back the later it gets. I found the prices to be outrageous, but most movie theaters are. Overall, nothing special and I did not feel comfortable while watching the movie.

Always a great place to see a show. It's close to home and has great seats. The theaters have regular and 3D movies. We always buy our tickets online before going to make sure we have a seat and it's a seat we want. Gone are the days of just showing up and picking your own seat in the theater. You can buy through the theater or with one of the apps which is the easiest.

It's a beautiful theater with extremely comfortable seats. However, I went with a friend to a 1:35 pm show. Granted, there were only 3 other people in the theater at that time. However, I still think it should be a comfortable environment. It was so hot in the theater that I had sweat running down my face. Even my friend who likes the heat, was miserable. And you still charge $8.50 for a matinee? With no air conditioning? No senior person discount? I guess it's back to AMC.

The place was very clean and nice looking. I ordered the tickets online, so I just used the kiosk tablet to get the tickets which was very easy and quick. The theater I was in was great. The chairs are awesome and comfortable. There shouldn't be an issue for some people who are a bit large, since I myself am. The sound system was good, maybe a bit loud, but I think most people expect that now. I guess the one thing I wish was the popcorn was truly just popped and nothing added. Let customers add seasoning if we want. Popcorn is actually pretty good for you without all the additives. Maybe they should try providing a healthy option with various seasonings along with the usual butter and salt if desired. Prices weren't bad in my opinion. What you would expect I guess.

This theater was remodeled in the past couple of years and the good news is that the seats and other amenities are very nice. The bad news is that since the seats are now so much larger, there are many fewer of them so movies sell out much more frequently. Plan to purchase seats on-line (and pay an extra couple of dollars), or show up a couple of hours early to buy tickets, or prepare to be disappointed because the movie you wanted to see is sold out.

I love the new seats. I do not like the way the managers treat the employees. On a few occassions I have seen a boss or manager speak rudely or talk down to an employee in front of customers. I do not think anyone should be spoken to in such a degrading manner. In fact it was not so much speaking more like barking "go here now" "move there damnit" "cant you get anything right" I am apalled at how someone so rude could get hired for such a high position. GET NICER STAFF LOWELL CINEMA.
