You will see all the feddbacks of people who purchased the services of Blackstone Valley 14 Cinema de Lux (Movie Theater) around Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré territory (Canada).
Currently the business gets a rating of 4.4 stars out of 5 and that rating has been based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is quite high, and it is founded on a large number of reviews, so we may say that the score is quite accurate. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they are satisfied, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to set opinions when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Movie Theater belongs to the category of Movie theater.
Went to see snake eyes ???? ???? spent 40 bucks had an okay time but going to the movies is clearly a dead past time that will never be as good as I remember it... sadly Also worth a complaint don't see an item if it is incomplete... if someone is buying the most expensive item then it best be worth it... 14 dollar popcorn ???? is outrageous enough...
Great place with leg room for tall people, except you need to take a mortgage for the popcorn .. Chatters, the little restaurant there is as good as Red Robin the burgers and fries are excellent and the waitress we had was also excellent each time we went. You cant beat the $3. mixed drink specials they have. $3.99 for a coke is rather steep and you cant take it with you into the theater :-(
Always Chaos... but quality seats for most part. Always got respect for movie theater staff. People are ignorant slobs. You guys do better then good amount of other theaters at up-keep. There's people who appreciate it.
Not as comfortable as IMAX but not as expensive either, need to have more than one person behind the snack counter at any time but other than that def worth the trip.
It's so pretty and everyone is so nice had a blast seeing the new movie F9
Excellent theater but...if you sit in the Real D (theater 7) be aware that in the top row, the seats are affixed to a platform. In the dark, you may not see well and you may fall because you missed the platform. (Platform does not have any safety lights like the stairs on the way up.) I fell and nearly toppled into the row of seats below me and was bruised on my arm and hand. Just be careful. Otherwise, this is a good theater with comfortable seats.
Pretty busy theater. Great options for drinks and eating. Typical outrageous prices for them. But the public audience is awful. Ruin the movie for everyone.
Clean theater. I’m always pleased when the cleaning crew waits until after the end credits to start cleaning. Try the salted pretzel bites and the Berry Berry smoothie, they’re very good.
They are not enforcing distancing in the theater, so you end with someone right behind you coughing. EDIT: Management reached out to me about our bad experience and made it better, we will be back and I'm changing my review to 4 stars, can't wait to see Bond.
Price hike again...employees said hike due to raise of minimum wage. That increase was meant for living expenses, not to go to the movies!!! Once again the big corporations somehow make the end consumer pay!!!
Been going to this theater for years now! Love showcase, VERY VERY clean place, the employees are very nice all of the rooms are big with comfy seats. They also have x plus show rooms with recliners. Honestly a great place to enjoy family time or just to grab a movie by your self.
Great theatre, very accessible from both the Blackstone shopping center and Rt. 146. Always have the most current movies and is rarely overcrowded. Prices for tickets are a bit much ($13) but I understand that's how most theatres are these days.
Very large theater that is well kept. Went here for a popular opening weekend release and was impressed that they handled the crowds so well. Would love to see them add leather seating to more of the auditoriums but otherwise I have no complaints.
Decent theater, friendly staff, some small screens are a bit blurred. One complaint though: ordered a venti Chocolate from Starbucks in the hall, came about 1/3 full. Went with girl so didn't confront the African American waitress/brewer.
Very clean inside, Staff was very friendly but, I have never spent so much on a bottle of water! $5.50 is a little too much for a water.
Great cinema, variety of different theaters. Love that it has entrances from the Shoppes as well as down the hill in the bigger parking lot. Only wish the Ben & Jerry's inside actually carried Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavors.
I have not been to the movie theater is over 2 years but I enjoy going to Blackstone and I also enjoy being able to purchase seats ahead of time (may not be a new concept, but it is to me) especially where my family is concerned.
The theatre is great place to hangout with friends whether it's watching a comedy, horror, or romance. Yes, the food is a bit over priced but that's routine with theatres and you can just go the Target there and sneak some snacks in.
ridiculously priced with barely any discount or deal offers.
I go weekly sometimes because of how fun it is ! It's clean and location is great, lots of food and shops. Highly recommend
Very nice service. Very clean theater. They offer sensory sensitive Saturdays once a month. This is great for anyone with special needs or just young children who may not like to sit quietly for too long.
Had an almost private showing of Carmen here with the folks, yall should try it
Loved the facility, movie was great! Employees were very thoughtful and helpful!!!
We go to the movies a lot and now, they are opened with more Covid flexibilities ! If you love movies, like I do, sign up for the rewards for points! You can buy two $6 tickets on Tuesdays. Tonight we paid an additional $2 for the recliner luxury seats, definitely worth it!! Very nice! You can use your showcase app to buy tickets and order food! NO LINES!
Great movie theater $6 on Tuesdays
Very well maintained movie theater for the most part. However the popcorn vending area need to be clean. Us customers can see all the trash and popcorn lying on the floor. You wouldn't order you food from McDonald's or Chick-fil-A if you saw burger buns lying on the floor behind the counter.
Love this theatre. There's a bar and grill - we've gotten a meal and gone to eat it while reclining in a seat in the X-Plus theater (HIGHLY recommend the X-Plus experience for big blockbuster movies!). The whole atmosphere is night-out-at-the-movies.
For 20 something dollars a ticket, there’s an expectation of a clean movie theatre. Stuff in the cup holders stuff on some seats. Seats are comfortable. Food mediocre at best including the popcorn. For the same price, I kinda feel like Framingham “dinner and a movie” is a significantly better option. A little disappointed to be honest.
Comfortable theaters, lots of food/snack/drink options, very clean and very friendly staff.
First time at the movies in awhile. Liked how they had devices customers could purchase tickets on, without having to wait in line. Place seemed clean & there was actually police officers inside which was nice, since some people don't know how to act when they're out in public.
Blackstone Valley Cinema is such an amazing center with a lot of fun enhancing facilities around. It's so nice when you can plan to see a movie, get some nice food and at right after the movie take a little to do all kinds of shopping around. I usually go to Blackstone Valley because it keeps my movement together.
The movie experience is too expensive over all. Although online ticket purchasing is convenient, it will come with a higher tax fee per ticket. Popcorn, soda and other concessions are more expensive than other theaters. While the seating is comfortable and spacious, all seats have a large separator - not allowing couples to get close during a scary movie or be able to hold hands. Side note- DON'T go on a Friday night unless you are prepared for a massive crowd. This is where the middle/high school kids of Millbury gather on Friday nights , the theater is always overly crowded with unsupervised adolescents.
Had a nice walk but couldn't believe how much trash there was
So, this movie theater is way overpriced for the quality inside. The entry way looks expensive and luxurious, but when you sit down to watch the movie beware or the seats as they do not recline or give in any way to make watching the movie comfortable. Also when you sit the seat drops quick, so be cautious. I'm glad I was only visiting Worcester because I would hate for this to be the only movie theater close by. Snacks and popcorn is really expensive too. Quality of picture was not great either. Dont waste your money here.
Not much to say. It's a cinema. Expensive but clean and spacious.
The theater is well kept and clean. My only complaint is the prices at snack bar and for tickets, which is all theaters today. I guess they have to charge them to pay the bills. When I do go I enjoy it just not as often.
Good theatre. The seating could be more comfortable in the regular theatre rooms but overall, a nice place.
Best theater in the Worcester area. Try the Xplus screens, they're amazing!
I am a regular here and enjoy coming besides the food being pricy. I have been to the Showcase in Providence and their normal seats are better looking and more comfortable than the ones here at Blackstone imo. It wouldn't kill to upgrade the seats but it's not mandatory either.
One of the most expensive theaters around for tickets and snacks. The place is always busy and amazingly always clean. Employees are friendly. Chairs are comfortable, screen sizes a great, sounds is getting beat up a bit as the theater ages.
Nice theater. Over the last few months since reopening, it hasn't had too many people but today there were many people attending. Social distancing was practiced.
It's a pretty big theatre and has all the American movies you want. Nice seats As I've been here a few times. Wish they had Indian movies as I don't want to drive to westboro or Worcester all the time.
The seated is updated and good. Too crowded for me at nights or on the weekend. Same goes for the parking situation. The concession stand is over priced just like anywhere else you would go. I tend to go on off hours or just pay the extra for the xplus.
They theaters are packed beyond belief. The concession line took over 45 mins to just order. Part of our party was not able to get in the theater and they made a child wait isolated, scared and alone eventhough she asked for her parents! She was not allowed entry into the theater area. Crazy!
Great dinner and a movie spot. Not sure if it's still a thing, but a couple of the restaurants in Blackstone valley would give free or discounted movie tickets with dinner. Anyone else done this before?
I never imagined it would cost $135 to take my family of four to see a movie, sure did????. Polite staff, plenty of movie snacks and food for children and adults and most importantly, its very clean! My feet didnt stick to the floor under the seat, I didn't have clean pop corn off my seat and the one bathroom I was in, was very clean and had toilet paper!!
My experience was all around amazing! My cousin has ADHD and one of the clerks was very sweet about it and very understanding letting her take her time. Also this experience had more to do with one of the people that was at the movies so not everyone would experience this but there was a woman that sat behind me and my friends and she was commenting during the movie and it all around made my day and the whole movie room was alive with everyone else commenting and it was so funny! Great experience!
Great Theatre. Only the attendants make it a bad experience (ie bringing your child in a horror film or no public manners). Price is a little step for X-Plus but worth it for midnight premieres with reserved seating no lines and no fuse. Recommend getting the StarPass card to earn stuff for future goings (free tix and snacks) the more you go the more you earn quickly.
Went on a Monday afternoon. No crowds. $11.25 senior rate and the seats are like sitting in your living room. Saw Knives Out. Murder mystery was entertaining.
It's not the best theater experience. AMC in Framingham has better seats, other cinemas may have better priced concessions, but you do get consistency here. You get a staff that seemingly hates working here, you get a semi-clean cinema experience, and you get something not even peopleofwalmart can compete with in the ridiculous outfits people wear to go to dark rooms to watch movies. In all seriousness though the rewards card doesn't always work and you can't get credit after the fact which sucks, but overall one of the better cinemas.
One of my favorite places to go. I always try to go when the places empty so I can get it all to myself. And Tuesdays are good days to go half price. Can't bring food in right now though thanks Miss Rona
Great place to see movies, they get you through the line quickly and are not pushy with their loyalty card. Theater is always clean as well.
This movie theater is amazing. Close to home. Great service. The employees are always kind. I've not had any negative experiences here
This isn't for customers I just want to tell the person who runs the place that the people in the Xplus room on level L would like to not go deff for the volume so please turn it down so that way the young people that would like their ears to have gold hearing so if you don't want a YELP problem put the volume to what people would like.
Nice theater for Worcester. Good popcorn, nice staff. Seats were a bit worn and creaky. No reserved seating yet. With going to though.
Best movie theatre around! The snack prices are ungodly but if you avoid that you will find a very clean place and ultimate comfort. A night out that you can't complain about. Show prices are slightly over that of any other places around but totally worth it for what you get.
I appreciate the theater taking the proper precautionary measures during Covid. The staff was extremely polite. Would suggest to others.
Unfortunately the quality of the cinema came down through the years. This place is very dirty between functions in both the function room and the lobby. For the price we pay this should be neat. It use to be clean before, not anymore.
Place is really good. It's part of a big plaza so there are plenty of food choices. There is also a bar so if you want to get there early and have a beer while you wait for your movie that's an option. There are only two things that prevented me from giving it 5 stars. 1. They need better quality popcorn. Seriously how much more can it cost to get better popcorn. 2. They have a mini Starburcks and advertise some of their most popular offerings (like the mocha, latte, etc). However the only thing you can really order is a coffee. they either lack the training to make the coffee drinks correctly or they don't have the equipment that they need to make it right.
Very pricey to view a movie these days. The price of the ticket was understandable. The cost of popcorn ????!!!!! Really people. And they have fewer staff. Tickets are purchased at a kiosk and them you have long lines if you want a soda (also overpriced).
A very nice and decent cinema to go to. I think XPlus is really worth the money.
Never seen theatre that filled...hurray to spiderman fans
Nice chairs. You select your seat at the ticket booth. Kinda pricey thou if you are not member. Good sound.
Super comfy, great sound and comfy seats.
The place was a ghost town. only 2 people in the theater . We Loved have the place to ourselves.
So aside fm the comfort of being able to push up the arm rest there is no upside to this theater. Concessions are insanely overpriced and there's always an abundance of trash, not just on the floor but the jungle bunnies from Worcester tend to frequent the establishment as well. So if you can deal with the overpriced everything and the Worcester trash then it is a great place to go see a movie ????????????
More people should wear masks in crowds. Person at concession seemed high and couldn't remember an order 10 seconds later.
Great movie ..SOLO on IMAX. but...got to my car and found this..
The theater was clean and the sound and picture quality were great!
overall this is a great theater with good seats the newest movies and short lines. that said the food is very expensive, $5 for a pack of candy, $20 for a pizza. ticket prices range from 10 dollars for a regular showing to 13 for 3D. usually service is great but once I bought a pizza asking for 16 slices and the person who made it didn't put wax paper on the pan. the pizza stuck to the pan and was in bad shape after she ripped it off and cut it. she was a new employee I think but she should have know have to make a pizza and should have tried a second time or given me a refund. in short they should train their employees better or keep them supervised when they're new.
Could be cleaner, and the staff seems more interested in their surroundings than the customers with one caveat. The woman working the concessions was great, despite working alone and having to do cleaning, serving, and cash/time management almost simultaneously.
Clean, comfortable seats, decent customer service. Look forward to going back.
Very clean and the staff was very polite and cordial.
I think the theatre needs to turn on some air because its stuffy and the seats are not comfortable. also the consessions are way over priced how much is popcorn 5 cents I was a little disappointed that the concession stand did not have Perri-Air......(Spaceballs reference). They are so cheap with the AC I thought I would die from hypo oxya
I went on a Saturday in the afternoon and it surprisingly wasn't busy. I had preordered my tickets the day before so I went up the to computer screens and just swiped my card to verify my purchase and out came my tickets. I decided to get a cheeseburger, fries and a drink from the right side (Nathan's, ice cream and I'm not sure what the other name was.) I ordered from Nathan's. I went to order and the guy was just dull. I was polite and friendly but to no avail was he interested in showing any enthusiasm at all. I mean, it wasn't busy and I was the only customer there. At least smile and try to seem a bit cheery instead of making it seem you're there as a hostage. It is your job after all, you applied for this job, I didn't force you to. He then placed my order whoch came to about $20. In my opinion is wasn't worth it. I was expecting it to taste delicious. Not just an okay burger. But I guess it's just movie theater food perhaps? So I'll never buy food from that theater again. The movie theater itself was good. The movie quality was good and the soind was great. No technical issues or anything. Just the occasional couple teens who wouldn't stop talking throughout the entire movie. The bathrooms were clean enough... Although there was a few smudges on the bathroom stall.... I'm hoping it was chocolate. Overall it was fine. The employees weren't really cheerful or welcoming. But I guess maybe it's just the movie theater atmosphere? The lady who took my stub. The guy who took my order. And a couple other employees. Maybe it was just a dreary day? I would of course go again bevause it's a large theater and the movie selection is wide. So why not? I went to see Bring the soul BTS. This was one of the very few theaters that was showing this movie.
Tom and Scott run this place very well keeping up a great theater in these troubled times
Really not sure what I should review, I mean the whole "movies" atmosphere of the thing is just gone with everything going on, its not as homey as it used to be, but on a good note you usually have free range of isle seats lol. Service was bit confusing and all over but still satisfactory
Very clean - surfaces are disinfected every hour. Socal distance seating, every third row, empty seats between parties. Enjoy popcorn and drinks while seated in your auditorium.
Clean, semi-reclining seats with plenty of room, convenient location
Unable to get ahold of them tried calling and get hung up on immediately
Went there to watch unholy and i have to say I would have enjoyed the movie more if jabber jaws behind would have shut her trap for five minutes thru out the whole movie.
It's pricy, but the theater needs to make $, obviously. They do have comfy seats for a premium. The last time we wanted to buy a whole pizza, which is cheaper than individual slices, the pizza person was on break.
It's a movie theater great movies...expect expensive food. Usually get a 1-2-3 go box where you get a drink or slush, popcorn, and a snack for 10 bucks. Basically a kids meal; while a slice of pizza is the same price.
Good place to see a movie especially in the Dolby Atmos theater room. Parking can be difficult during prime viewing times. Also the lines for food and drinks can be very long. They have updated their ticket system so e-tickets are easily scanned so you don't have to wait to buy tickets.
This movie theater is located off of route 146 in Millbury Massachusetts it has replaced the Worcester North movie theater and has become a powerhouse to go see a movie at if you buy the tub of popcorn and the large soda cup you get free refills they offer also Pizza burgers fries they also offer a various selection of candies and if you go on Tuesday the movie price is only $8 with your Star pass reward they have two theaters that are leather seats they also have an x Plus theater which offers a superior environmental movie going experience their first major movie with Spider-Man 3 with Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man. They are a great movie going destination.
The movie seats are great but the volume is WAY TOO LOUD!!!!! I asked for it to be turned down but they didn’t do it ☹️. I used tissues in my ears because it was that loud and that still didn’t help. I ended up with a headache. If you are hard of hearing this place is great but otherwise it’s going to ruin your hearing!!!!
Nice theatre. 4 star only due to machine when paying took 4 times to get it right. Employee said his machine had trouble. It wasn't a big deal since I was early to movie. The cost of food really bothers me...so high when I can get a McDonald's drink for $1 and have to pay $4 at a theatre.
Google reviewers must be idiots or compensated by the theater to leave such glowing reviews. First the cost of admission is ridiculous, for myself and 2 kids at a matinee over $30, bag of popcorn that costs them <.50 to make is $8, a drink is another $3-5 depending on what you get. And dont get me started on convenience fees if you buy online what a F'n rip off, its no convenience for the consumer thats for sure. I can see why pirating is such a big business and I would never convict or otherwise think ill of anyone who does it, the movie companies deserve what they get for being such greedy SOBs. Save your money and wait until it comes on NF or AP, I much prefer watching movies in my home or going to the drive in than being molested by big business. Avoid this place and go do something else, like going to park, skating, mini golf, anything but sitting in your fat rump and eating overpriced popcorn and sugary drinks.
This is one of the only theaters I have been to in the last 5 years that hasn’t been redone. You can’t pick your own seats which would be fine, but the seats are VERY worn out and uncomfortable.
Ton of screens. Buy tickets using a terminal or going to the service desk. Very well kept. Plenty of parking.
Love this theater, nice an clean, modern, last movie i saw was pretty full, glad people are going out again, life starting to feel a little more normal.
Low key Monday morning movies is the best. All is clean, everyone's nice and the theater is all for myself. I really like this place because is both modern and classic. Prices could be better for popcorn but I still enjoy the experience. Matrix 4 shouldn't have been made.
Great place could've been a little cleaner with covid and all . Seating was pretty tight no social distancing done by facility just tried to fill theater to make money
bought tickets to the Xplus theater, plush seats that recline so even if you are in the front you have a good view. Plenty of elbow room. However biggest thing is parking, get there early or park in the upper lot. It fills up quick Thur - Sat nights, there is not much to do in the area so this is the place to be.
Great theater with great movies playing at all times, highly recommend. Although the food and drink is slightly over priced, every is good overall.
Not bad, kind of dirty and smells like a locker room which I thought was a little odd but besides that it was good. Nice picture and movie sound, seats were roomy and comfortable and snacks were expensive but good. Not bad for an older theater.
An absolutely beautiful place. If your looking to find out about pricing well it's like any other. All movie theaters are pricey these days. But it's big beautiful and comfortable.
Very nice movie theater, nice seats, friendly service. Prices have climbed over the years and the food is expensive. The evening out however is nice and the chairs are comfortable, even for short people like me and visibility is great! Just don't use the bathrooms. Toilet paper hangs low to the ground which makes it difficult to reach and also not clean the closer you get to the floor. Also when I used it I could smell old urine.
First time back since 2019. Clean, not too crowded. Had to choose our seats which I didn't realize had to be done. No biggie though.
It's been a year since I've been to the theater. It was as good as I remembered. It was clean and safe. Thanks.
by far the best cinema in Millbury, and the chairs are so comfortable. The place is also very clean. I would rate 6 stars if i could tbh
This Cinema is the best one around here. Xplus says it has dolby atmos sound and dolby vision. Watched couple of movies with the X ticket. I didn’t experience a good dolby atmos sound here. Not even close to DTS. I’m not sure if they have to enable something to experience that. Tried couple of movies for that surround sound experience, and the movies that were made to be experience the sound effects, no luck.
Great experience. I went for a showing of “Shazam!” with my girlfriend at around 4:10pm, so an evening show, and everything went well. The line to purchase our tickets was quick and efficient, waiting in line at the concession stand was also quick despite there being a number of people there. We enjoyed a regular sized popcorn, an Icey, a hotdog, and salted pretzel bites. The seating in the theater itself was good, the other individuals in the movie were respectful and quiet throughout the viewing. Seating was well spaced, and very clean too!
Ok I don't usually give 5 stars to anything and generally a 4 star for me is like giving 5. But I'm a movie nut and this place since it opened has been a staple. Yes I've known/know people who work here but it is a nice place to watch a movie. Also you can get a good meal at several decent places in the complex before going!!!!!!!
Clean and you can choose your seats
No Ac too hot inside the theater
Way over priced for food. Tickets as well but the perks are better to get discounts. Theater carpet smells and the seats are old, stained and uncomfortable unless you purchase the Xplus seats. Theater needs renovating and new management as majority of employees are not courteous. Will probably return as there aren't many theaters nearby.
We saw The Suicide Squad in the X-Plus theater. Awesome sound, crisp picture and recliners for seats!!
Nicest theater I have ever seen. 1st time there and was very impressed. Automated check in. 2 lounges. Escalators for those coming in on 3rd floor.
Always a fun place to go and watch a movie
XPlus is a fantastic way to view a movie. Seats recline and are very comfortable. The sound is great, at a few points during the previews I thought it was turned up too high but during the movie it was just right.
Very clean, felt new. Great picture and sound quality, comfortable seats
Really enjoyed getting out to the Movies again. Great social distancing happening here.
Would not say it’s kid friendly. My family and I went for the first time all together to see a movie and my daughter was fussy. Some woman behind us guess had a problem with it and reported us. Well, guess if she ever has kids karma will get the best of her. Rated it 1 star as manager at least had the decency to refund our over priced tickets. Was a decent movie theater but get better quality in Burlington or Woburn cinemas than this one. Just my experience though. If you plan to bring your kids here just be aware if they are fussy you may not make it the whole movie.
First movie at a theater in well over a year, it was great.
I was expecting something akin to AMCs new theaters. If you're not actually seeing the movie in the de Lux theater, the rest of the rooms are just regular movie theaters. Good sound and picture quality though, clean too.
Great place. Clean and friendly staff. Comfy seats. Only complaint and why im giving 4/5 stars is for the price of food and candy. 7$ for Skittles, you know the small 1$ box everywhere else.
Good movie theater, lots of good movies, but the really good thing is the food. There's tons of food, including ice cream. Would recommend.
Blackstone Valley Cinema is a very nice and clean theater. I have been going for years and I enjoy it. Their employees are always friendly, the place is always in good conditions and it's inviting. I enjoy going there!
It was great I went there to watch the movie Eternals and I sat at the top row
Nice cinema with good concessions. Add to it, on Chistmas eve, there were terrific employees, from the helpful folks in ticket purchasing, to an amazingly gleeful ticket taker, to the accommodating and professional concession stand personnel! An experience I'd like to repeat!
Modern cinema with lots of high end touches (stadium seating, variety of food choices). Unfortunately, not meticulously maintained as my reserved seat in my latest visit had slits in the upholstery that have not been addressed
good time for the family, rewards program looks interesting but we were never offered a sign up to start saving immediately.the movie itself was better without the glasses
Great cinema always clean and nice.
Employees need to be shown the proper way to stock a cooler without everything falling out when a customer opens it.
I went with a few friends, one of which I met there and she had already bought her ticket for the Xplus theater. I asked what seat she picked and she said "oh it doesn't matter". The employee at the ticket stand rudely snapped "no, it DOES matter". So I chose my seat and while paying, (I was being rung out by HER MANAGER, mind you) the employee keeps going on and on about how my friend should come on a Tuesday night if she doesn't want to have to pick a seat etc. Just wouldn't shut up about it, having to have the last word. All while the manager stood there not saying a word. I said "jeez it's not a big deal" and went to my movie. I spend A LOT of money at this theater, but with all the mouthiness from the staff lately, I'm not going to come back. I'd rather spend my money at a place that I'll be treated with respect.
There are just tons of teens making out, blocking stairs, and being generally obnoxious all over the place. No one is getting rid of loiterers or stoping the loud talking during movies. The seats are not that nice. $11 for a movie should come with larger seats. I am a size 6 and I filled up the seat cushion, I don’t know how anyone larger could sit here. There is also a massive gap between seats where things can fall. Lastly, it looked liked they had never cleaned the theater. There was so much popcorn and trash all over the place.
Very clean, nice theartre. Employees work hard at being quick atbthe concession stands. The screens are huge and seats are comfy. This is my usual spot for a good movie
I love the 2D/3D theater. The seats are worth the extra few bucks. Completely comfortable and no one blocks your view. The 4/5 stats is because they replaced the pizza company and now pizza is only ok
Nice atmosphere, plenty of room. Good refreshments.
We always love this theater and just recently realized they have special hard seats you put on top of the stadium seats for little ones to sit on so the chair doesn't fold up on them! It's always clean here and the popcorn is delicious!
everything about this place is weirdly huge and empty and there are extra snack bar setups that are completely unused. rarely pick up movies outside of big releases and AAA titles. theaters themselves are nice.
The reserved seating theater is very comfortable, recline and are spacious. The audio system is also loud but not overwhelmingly so.
Awesome experience I missed going to movie theater ???? so clean ????
Great location and easy access from two separate lots at an outdoor mall with plenty of parking and shops and dining options very close by. Special prices offered on certain days. Starpass program has some great benefits.
Excellent! High prices for food and snacks but it's okay as a once in a while family treat ????????????????????????????????
Nice local theater, with plenty of screen times to fit everyone's viewing. They have 1 xplus screen where I personally like. The seats are wide and recline and you pick your seat when purchasing tickets. The price is high at 15.50 at this time for this screen. Other shows are in the 12 dollar range. Wide variety of snack, candy, food and drink at as you can imagine high$$$ prices. But that's part of the experience, shell shock you'll get over while escaping with a good film. They also have an adult bar and grill which I have not experienced.
Although the theater is always busy, their customer service is very efficient. I like the fact that they have Starbucks coffee but service is lacking sometimes. Theater seats are comfortable even though they are not premium and theater is clean. Sound system is great. They have great hang out areas that you can sit while you wait for friends or a meal.
Only one in the theater best time ever
With the addition of the soda machines the concession area is no longer a slow mess of pain and agony as we wait to see if we get our raisinettes before the coming attractions. Fair prices, a good variety, and a clean facility makes this our theater of choice
Always busy, but the theaters are clean. Pricy for tickets, food and drinks, but it is a movie thearter. They have a lot of choices for foods and drink and the staff is always friendly. They are also accommodated for people who have disabilities whether it be hearing impaired, wheel chair bound and other ailments.
Great theater. Clean, great large screens. They have Atmos theater options for select movies as well.
The theater is nice and all, but they gotta chill with the pricing. Like a bottle of water is $4.75, and a bag of skittles is, $4.50, like that's beyond crazy.
Really nice experience. Those easy chair seats to watch a movie are fun. Be prepared for long lines to get popcorn and such when popular movies are playing.
Just 6 years ago this used to the best central ma cinema. Now the can properly staff the bar. It was closed for an hour do to a staff break. No relief staff was available to help us spend money.
Love this place. Restaurants and other department stores just a short walk from here after you see your movie, which you can take from a amusing carpeted hallway path on the second floor to the other movie theater entrance, enjoying art …
This theater is newer than any others in the area. What's odd is the prices are high but they don't offer assigned seating in most of the theaters. I feel like this is a staple now in most premium theaters. Xplus is nice if its a movie you really want the full effect of.
I've gone to this movie theater a hand full of times. I like it a lot! Never had a problem
BLACKSTONE VALLEY 14: CINEMA DE LUX treated my wife and I inappropriately today, 08 July. The admitting usher took away my coffee and demanded to search my wife's and my handbag. The manager did provide a replacement coffee (although it took far too much effort on my part to secure it), but overall I felt we were just treated wrongly. We are both seniors. Yet the cost of admission to see Spider-Man Homecoming on a Saturday at 9:30 AM was $31.50! I estimate that on average my wife and I and family spend about $500 at this theatre a year. Next 12 months: $0.00. I'd like an apology from the mothership.
With new soda and icee fountains the lines move much quicker now.
The movies are great, and X-plus seats are very comfortable, but are a bit expensive. If you see a movie in theaters 1-7 there is a very friendly older man who wears a watch. He will always tell you where your theater is, whether you see it or not. Please be nice to him!
The theater has sensible requirements to keep patrons safe - masks required, safe distance reminders, assigned seats. I felt comfortable visiting to enjoy some movies.
Great experience. So nice to be AT a theater. Online ticket and concession purchase was super convenient and quick to get us to our seats.
Good place for a movie and some relaxing time with friends.
Awful customer service we asked the lady at the snack counter where we order she points somewhere off in the distance.and they had a cleaning lady that just kept staring at us.the guy at Ben and Jerry’s was awesome.
Lines are usually pretty short, movies run on time. Good thearter.
Really comfy seating. Prices are the same as others. This is a showcasee theater so if you have a starpass use it. Concessions are insanely priced. Parking lot is large but always full.
I love going to the movies here! Everyone from the clerk you buy your tickets from, to the people who clean up the theatres after a show, everyone is super nice. I can't ever remember having a bad experience going here at all. I am a member of their loyalty program as well and highly recommend it! All in all, wonderful place to go!
Very clean theater and clerks are very helpful, we booked 6 tickets online for a movie but 2 of us could not make it that day, when we explained that to front desk clerk he gave us open tickets for any time use. I was so happy
The seating is good and place is nice. That being said their prices for concessions are ridiculous. To over priced and in reality theres no real upside for it. I'm sorry when I have to dish out $50 to take my 11yr old to see a movie....rather let him know we can have movie night at home for the next 4 months with NETFLIX every other night and we dont have to worry about running out of popcorn or a drink....
Theater was very nice. Clean and the prices were not bad
XPlus theater is worth the price. I saw Avengers: Endgame opening night there, and I didn't have to stand in line because my seats were reserved. The leather recliners are great, too!
I love the XPlus Theater here. The screen is enormous!! Great to see a good action movie on this screen or a thrilling horror movie. The only drawback is that even in this comfortable high-end theater with rocking seats, you still sometimes end out sitting next to oblivious and obnoxious people who want to talk to each other all throughout a movie. And that's simply not acceptable especially when you're paying almost $20 per seat. If you want to talk, go to a restaurant and stop ruining the movie theater going experience for the people that go to enjoy movies!
The place offer Active Military discount ????. One of the places that support our Veterans. The pace is clean good for family outing.
Pretzels are the best when they are fresh!
If I could give this Cinema a zero I absolutely would. I’ve had nothing but bad experiences here, the staff is absolutely horrendous and rude. I do not recommend this theater to anyone, if you are looking to watch a movie I would definitely find another theater. I have never felt so degraded and disrespected in public the way that this place disrespects their costumers. DO NOT GO HERE SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE.
Quality theater, and I would say best in the central mass area. Prices aren't as insane as in Boston, per say, but not cheap by any means. Let's face it, most worthwhile movie theaters aren't. Military discount is significant for ticket prices. So thanks for honoring our military members Blackstone Valley Cinemas! They have a points program, which over the years has yielded free drinks, popcorn, and tickets. How great is that? The inside of the theaters is cleaned out well before each showing. No one loves that sticky soda on the floor feeling when they walk right? As neat as 3D is for the movies, the very comfortable seating featured in the XPLUS is the bee's knees. Sounds great too! I would say, as a personal preference, stay away from opening weekend showings if you can. The sheer amount of people that attend will up your odds of having rude/loud/annoying people distract from your experience. Tl;dr - Mil. Discount, cool rewards program, clean, XPLUS comfy seating.
Nice theater that is pretty decent in size when you enter. They have a bar which is pretty nice and swanky but tiny in size. Line for tickets wasn't too bad considering the time we went in. I really do prefer to buy tickets on advanced though. While buying tickets, our clerk was complaining about never having pens around. Popcorn lane wasn't really long but they hardly had enough clerks and seemed a bit hectic. Typical size theater. Average chairs under a sticky floor with some popcorn kernels here and there. Good time with a good movie but overall it really was an average theater.
Good. Except masks required. Seems pointless because everyone takes them off in theater, and then breathe the same air.. lol crazy new world
I love going here always nice people place is clean
The employees are always extremely nice. The seats inside the theaters are very comfortable. Food is good. Movies are extremely high quality. I usually always come to this theatre.
The cinema is a new facility with 14 screens offering first run movies. The seat are comfortable and sound exceptional. In addition to the typical movie snacks there is a small pizzeria on sight. Plenty of parking and conveniently located near 20, 146 and the mass pike add to the appeal.
One would think with the price of movies concessions the upkeep would be at least decent. Tiles in bathrooms broken neither escalator in service
I love going here! It reminds me of being somewhere in California.
Very pleasant movie theater. The lobby is huge and features super nice architecture and designs. The screening rooms are quite large with tons of seating. There are a few different options for food such as Starbucks, a pizza place, and a whole restaurant inside the theater itself. Only complaint is that prices are ridiculously expensive, but that’s with just about everywhere right?
This movie theatre is conveniently located within a shopping plaza that has ample parking including handicapped permit spaces. The theatre building and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. The inside appearance of the cinema is in good condition and clean. The seating is rather comfortable and the acoustics are good. They show a variety of movies at different times. They offer matinee pricing and discounts for senior citizens. The concession stand has some food and drinks but can be considerably pricey.
Horrible!! The bartender. Was so rude. Never had such bad service from a bartender. They should never force the employees to be at work. The only reason that I liked this cenema was because of the bar before the movie. I do not plan to come back. I wish I knew her name but she didn't introduce to the table.
Very pricey tickets and or food. I get out of work at 10pm and my buddy from Leominster would pick me up and go for a 1030 showing. Spent almost 30$ for two tickets and almost 30$ for a large drink and a couple of candy sides each. Other then the price the quality of the place is superb.
Treated my aunt to see "RESPECT " Excellent movie no complaints at all. We loved ???? the San - Francisco Bridge wallpaper in theater #14 . I've Never been in theater 14 that was so cool seeing it on both sides very comfortable seats.
All employees super friendly. Place was clean. Did go to afternoon show, which probably helped. We would go back.
Very nice, large Cinema. Seats are comfortable and leg room is generous! Theater is relatively clean but the restrooms, at the time of my visit, had 50% of the soap dispensers empty which is ridiculous to start the day. Staff seems slightly undertrained but polite enough.
I like everything except the consetion stand prices are too high popcorn and soda almost 20 dollars so what the movie ticket is discounted for they charge you more for food it should be the other way around more for the ticket and the food inexpensive. Also the bathrooms were dirty and smelled like urine ugh ????
Moive was good seats was ok but the main lobby floor area was very sticky. All stations from drinks to food and butter was dirty and half was functional or not in use. I understand covid and not alot of staff. But for a week Night moive empty seats its on Mangnment to keep it in gear and see what I see.
This is a very nice movie theater. Plenty of screens and comfortable seating. My son was very excited that the freestyle machines were added. Prices are high but that is at many movie theaters now (14.25 per each adult ticket at night). Adding in snacks or drinks it ran us about $50 for my son and I to go.
At Christmas I bought a $200 gift card because they were advertising a $10 bonus concession gift card for each $50 spent. So we got four bonus cards. We just used one for the first time and our order was only $7.26. To our shock the balance of $2.74 was erased from the card because you have to use it all at once, a fact that was not disclosed when we got them. The cashier, a very nice young lady, was also confused about this and called a manager, Chris Begley, to see if he could help us. He came over and bluntly told us that we had lost the rest of our balance since we did not use it all at once. When I asked if he thought that was fair, he agreed that is was not fair or just. I asked him to give us a box of candy to make up the difference, he refused. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he smugly told me I could write the home office. Never have I had someone admit their company was wrong and then refuse to make it right. I can’t imagine that this is actually the company policy. Surely it is just Mr. Begley’s power trip. What a shame for him to be ruining his company’s good name. I would like to have my gift card restored. I don’t think that is too much to ask.
My favorite theater and during the pandemic probably safest place to go because of their covid rules and set up. If going to the movies is too expensive think about signing up for showcase subscribe where you can sign up to go to more movies. Whenever possible do xplus which is theater 7 best experience.
It has good selection, but needs updating. Seats are so uncomfortable compared to all other theaters.
Went there to watch Godzilla vs. Kong and the experience and movie was great. This is from now on my go to movie theater.
great seats, we're always happy to go see movies here and we bring blankets and pillows for the kids are they are in eyeball overload bliss. Never had a crowded theater yet but apparantly it was last time and we didn't even notice as the seats are so large no one's even in your FOV.
Nice local cinema plaques with current releases good sound and comfy seats. I enjoyed being able to order my snacks at the same time as my ticket and pick them up at the counter.
Blackstone Valley Cinema is my favorite place to see a movie. It's easy to park and I appreciate the variety of restaurants and shops in the same area. The theater has many options beyond the standard candy and popcorn for food too- I can get ice cream for one kid and french fries and chicken for another. Seats are comfortable and roomy and include cupholders. The theater is clean and I have never experienced sticky floors here. The only reason I didn't give five stars is the high price of food and drinks.
By far the Best Cinema around. Love going there!
Good movie theater, and the employees are pretty efficient. It can get really crowded and busy, especially for bigger movies when they first come out. Proximity to the Shoppes up the escalator really comes in handy too. Just be wary of sell-outs or limited seat selection for new releases. Sad that Showcase North closed, as it was so much better than this one. I would always go out of my way to go there. I will honestly go out of my way now to not go to a showcase theater, out of spite.
Love that we get reserved seats.
This is my go to theatre. The XPlus Theatre is huge, awesome leather reclining seats. Best surround sound and screen. They have a small restaurant with some beers on tap. Lots of food choices. Only complaint is I wish there were more than one XPlus Theatre in there.
Great theater! I won't pay $15 bucks for popcorn...
How fabulous to be able to go to the movies again???????? it's different because of Covid rules and totally safe and doable ???? get out and enjoy life by seeing a new flick! I saw Honest Thief with Liam Neeson and Kate Walsh, filmed in Worcester, and it was great!! I do suggest getting to the theater about 15 to 30 minutes before start time to get your concessions and pick your seats when you buy your tickets???? Enjoy!!
The movie was amazing and self service was fast
This location has stadium seating and it's easy to get to (near 146 and the Pike). The interior is clean and well maintained and the staff has been generally helpful.
Theater 1 had very comfortable seats! They look brand new and leather.
My go to for the nice theatre because it has better layout and seating than Showcase North. Always go here for my #1 MUST SEE movies even though it is not convenient. Never been disappointed.
Great location a lot of parking available in front or at top with many restaurants and stores near to cater to all needs and wants. The movie theater is clean and well taken care of customer service has always been excellent its a great time with friends and family and even to have some alone time.
Has everything one would expect from a cinema. Would have gotten 5 stars if the food was better. The pizza place near the entrance is particularly bad.
Very nice theaters, great sound for the movie, bathrooms were clean too. Seats were comfortable too. Price is $12.00 for the afternoon, that seems high too me.
The tickets are way too expensive. They charge you extra to sit in the reclining chairs. They shut the air off so then you feel sleepy. It's not bad all the time, but this last time was horrible and so was the movie. The Nun is not worth the price of a movie ticket .
I enjoy this theater, but I try to avoid going on the weekends because of crowds. The facilities are always clean and the staff is generally friendly. Lots of choice at the concession, too!
Great. Love it. Kinds and wife love it too. Nice enviroment. Lo recomiendo.
Nice and clean empty 15 min before show 5 dollar Tuesday deal with star pass would be nice if it was Tuesday..lol popcorn good alot people getting chkn fingers and Fry's probably a better deal
Good theatre had so access to but ticket and for agreed of time. Clean theaters as much as can be expected. Tuesday prices are a big plus
Friendly staff. Clean theatre. Comfy seats. Pricey but all cinema's are now. 3 kids 1 adult with snacks and drinks $80+.
I haven't been in this theater but I have been in the parking lot a few times and it is right off the highway and if I had to go to the movies I would have no problem going there.
Theater #7 has big, soft, reclinable leather seats. A HUGE curved screen and SUPER loud surround sound speakers!!!! A must see for yourself night out with a special someone. Tuesday night $5 movie night, extra for screen 7 though.
This is my all-time favourite movie theatre! The seating is comfortable, the food is abundant, and the films are excellent. They have optional X-Plus seating, which is essentially a leatherette recliner with two cupholders per chair. I have never had an issue with the staff, and everything seemed to be in tip-top shape. Of course, with the luxury of the theatre, the prices are high. But that is to be expected. I would recommend Worcester North for a cheaper movie option. However, Blackstone is my standby for all blockbusters that I wish to see. And there are not-too-bad shops (or as they say it, shoppes) on the upper level. Enjoy your movie!
Watched the new Matrix movie! Excellent! Really cool! I always enjoy catching a movie here!
Worth it to go on a Bargain Tuesday, and also you don't lose anything to register for the Star pass for extra rewards. On a regular day it can it very pricey and on a busy day the food lines tend to move really slow.
Very clean and comfortable theater, I love movie nights here. They also have a Ben and Jerry's so I mean, how can you not get excited for that!
If you ever wanna go Deaf" keep coming to this there. The volumes on the movies are beyond normal. Studies have shown that high intensity volume causes long term and permanent ear damage that is irreversible as you get older. I also like how they took away the rewards program you used to be able to get a free movie" and now all they give you is points to get a popcorn or a drink, and that's it! so my review is below 1 *
Had a great time. Not too crowded. Deluxe theater great as usual!!! Had a great day out.
Took the lady out for an impromptu movie date, place was empty whuch was great! Only issue i had was the bathroom coulda been cleaner.. also it would be nice to be able to take the beer into the movie and drink while you watch...
