Aggressively upset staff almost had an aneurysm when I didn't have a mask on waiting on line for my $20 popcorn and water. Please instruct staff to keep their personal political views personal. Nobody is wearing a mask in a movie theater.

You probably want to call first to make sure seating is available. Nothing like showing up and you find out there’s no seats available to the movie you want to see. The Green-line T-station is directly across the street, which makes this place simple to find.

The bathroom is somehow always trashed lol. They don’t have a lot of staff so I understand but it’s always really messy. Everything else is okay. That one lady asking everyone to put their masks on is awesome. She is single handedly battling Covid.

The Dolby Cinema experience is good for a big movie like West Side Story. But the 20 minutes of trailers before the showing are MUCH TOO LOUD. Bring earplugs, this can permanently damage your hearing!

A quick walk from the Red Line. Big theaters and lots of movie options. Theaters have seemed fairly clean, for the most part. It's an AMC. Not sure what other kind of details to put in this review. Oh, they have a bar next to the food options upstairs with what looks like a lot of alcoholic drinks. I've never gotten drinks from there before (I imagine they cost twice as much as the $8 minimum popcorn), but if you're looking for a drink with your movie apparently that's an option.

Now that movie houses have gone the way of airlines by “tiering” and nickel / dime you from where you sit to watch in Dolby ( use to not charge you extra) sound, it’s no wonder why I will no longer go to the movies but watch it from the comfort of my own home with friends and family.

This movie theater Provides discount for students even though I’m the student from California. There are many rooms so it’s easy to get seat even when the hot movie like Captain Marvel coming out. Glad I watched this movie here rather than at California

We enjoyed dropping in and seeing a movie short notice. Lobby is well setup with a lot of available screens to see movies on. Ours had closed captioning on for some reason but wasn't the end of the world. They turned off the soda machines around 9:30pm which kind of sucked, and we didn't get our size upgrade for our stubs membership. The seats in the theater we were in weren't the newer ones, but, it was a comfortable experience.

I don't really much to the cinema, but the movie I watched was great and the seats were comfortable, the only bad things I have to say is that in order for you to get your food and popcorn you need to go upstairs first and then go down again if your movie is in the first floor. (That's my unique problem so instead of 4 it could be maybe like 4.5)

Very elegant and big theater. Seats aren’t super comfortable and if someone needs to pass you for seats you won’t be able to see anything. Good location though!

The theater is in a good location but the seats are pretty old and compared to the new theaters it looks very antiquated and needs a renovation

My go-to theater in Boston area. The seats are comfortable (unlike Assembly Row that makes my back hurt after an hour) and the spacing is ideal for viewing (better than Fenway). The unique, glamorous ceiling decor always makes it feel special to go to this theater. I’ve had issues from time to time, like overhead lights not going off when the movie starts, but the manager has made up for mistakes and it is still my preferred venue.

Dolby theaters are sick just wish this theater would finally update to more comfy seating like reclining couches. Theater isn't spacious at all and it's easy for average height people to block your view.

Loved going to the movies on a rainy day at 1pm. Staff was friendly and the seats were awesome. I loved we got to put our own butter on our popcorn. Would definitely go back again if I was ever in Boston. Theater was clean and the popcorn was hot.

Ridiculously expensive, especially for the tiny uncomfortable bucket seats you get. Getting to the theater is an expensive time waster that makes the theater experience you get even more of a ripoff. All in all, we spent around $100. The IMAX screens are nice but your ears will be all you’re thinking about because the volume is turned up to 11. Just a cling of cups or some basic action in the movie is deafening… just imagine those Marvel action scenes. The only good thing I can say is that the place is fairly clean.

My husband and I saw Flag Day starring Sean Penn. We had a great time. We got popcorn and soda & it was very comfortable there, very clean & a helpful staff.

Amazing blast the past date night experience. Living on a small island the chance to go to a real cinema cannot be missed. AMC's are such an amazing experience is almost like going to the opera. The massive screen, amazing bone chilling sound, the movie memorabilia and traditional AMC architecture and decor. Wish I could go all the time. We humans are so lazy in nature bit don't forget the AMC movie experience, Netflix at home just isn't the same.

If you’re in Boston and you don’t want go to your automobile to drive ???? this is what we’ve got. It’s filthy, dank and smells. Seats are pathetic — a water is $6.07 including tax. Bringing the total price for James Bond to $50 US American dollars.

The place is small and the seats are thigh and uncomfortable. I was elbow to elbow with my seat neighbors. Really kind of uncomfortable. I gave a three because the place was overally clean and the staff nice.

Massive theater with old school glam and new school tech. You can choose your experience (and the ticket price reflects that) from normal theater to advanced sound to Imax. Bit disappointing that the concessions are just standards like fake nachos and frozen pizza.

I've only been to the Dolby theatre and that's excellent for a movie experience. Nothing great about the popcorn but the hall is awesome. Comfortable recliner seats in a very spacious setting such that you feel like you're watching the movie at home.

Okay theater. Staff was nice and helpful and the food was good. The two biggest downsides were that the concession area floor was littered with food and spilled drinks. Also, the seats are old-fashioned. I mean, they make the walls and decorations look rustic, but they can't afford reclining leather chairs like less authentic theaters like Framingham or Burlington? Maybe they need to do some upgrades.

AMC Loew's aren't peppered across the concrete jungle I call New York City but there are enough that I have been to more than my fair share. Most of the time I feel that this specific franchise love to make a Heather that is overly dramatic design. This Loews is no different. This theatre is several floors tall, has several 3d theatre screens.

High capacity large theater to see Hollywood's latest releases. Nice atmosphere. Excellent view of the Common from the upstairs picture window. Very good access from the T.

Went for the Black Widow private screening and it was awesome! The theater was clean and moving smoothly. They should have free Parking or validate parking since the movies are super expensive. And i was kinda mad the $10 popcorn was stale like an hour into the 2 1/4 hour long movie

IT was beautiful..BUT. the gauging of the prices was completely ignorant, just blatant disrespectful not to mention they're going to need a new popcorn machine because I could eat it popcorn ???? was overcooked and saltier than the sea had one bite and sat it on the floor and felt discusted my wife thought we should've gone elsewhere...sad very sad

Like seeing movies but it should be clean especially in the food area its always dirty & gross when i go. More people should complain if they experience the same thing. MAYBE THEY WILL CLEAN IT.

Classy. On Xmas day a young Asian man that was working helped me swap out some tickets. They were accidently booked for the 22nd instead of 25th (and ineligible for a refund). He went the extra mile to help me out. It was a sweet and memorable gesture.

AMC food tends to run more expensive, but it's actually quite delicious, especially the curly fries and flatbread pizza. Theaters were super big and spacious. Overall an enjoyable movie theater experience!

Just saw Dune Part 1, in IMAX I could see individual pixels, in addition to the screen itself being dirty. The seats left my legs incredibly uncomfortable. Further more the sound actually was a bit too loud like people say. What a trashy experience for $22. Oh and get ready for $5 bottled water

3/5 because I didn't enjoy the "traditional" setting in a large room with dozens of uncomfortable seats. I think that attending a movie theater should be a comfortable and welcoming experience, but I don't receive that from a crowded room and sitting in a tiny chair with people in the back kicking the back of my seat because there's no where to comfortably put your feet for a long period of time. I think this business needs an upgrade to be a more desirable experience.

Their online ticket system is very easy to use. I have not tried to get tickets in person yet however. Food prices are acceptable for your typical concession prices. Host up-to-date movies while showcasing some older ones often. Location is very convenient by Park St. which I use the MBTA to get towards.

This theater is nice but the corridor to theaters 10-19 or something like that smells like urine. The paper towel dispensers in the women's restroom are broken.

I love AMC theaters, but haven't been to this location before, only suburban locations to the north. It was pretty trashed. There was food and other stuff all over the floor. The seats where we sat were not recliner-style. They could lean back, but then they would crush the knees of the person behind you. As a taller person, I also found my own knees getting smashed. There is no connected parking. Boston Common parking is very convenient to this location.

This is our second time coming here. Last time we watched the chipmonks movie (many years ago!) and last week we came here to watch Ip Man 4. This is a huge movie threatre that has many screen rooms, and they show indie movies and foreign movies that are showing at limited theatres, such as Ip Man 4 which is a Hong Kong movie. My one criticism is the attendants aren't very helpful when it comes to military discount. They claim military discount applies for movies after 4:00pm and you can use the touch screen to get the discount, but that's not true! You must go to the second floor and line up to see an attendant face to face to get the military discount.

Saw Spiderman in the IMAX. Why the 3 stars? 1. Seats were dirty (on the cushion you sit on) 2. Seats were dirty (the back of the seat that's on front of you) 3. Arm rest screw must have come off because the arm rest kept swinging between me and the person sitting next to me. Sound was awesome. Visual was awesome.

Great location, easily accessible by the T (local metro bus or train transportation). It has a sit down bar to enjoy becore or after a show depending on time you attend a show. Its very easy to see from the street (in front of the building only). It is large with plenty viewing time option. It is one of my favorite Boston theatre locations. However, it is disappointing the the cost of admission is reflective of its location; significantly higher than other theatre locations.

The seats are amazing everything's amazing the staff were so nice that she's recline everything is literally just amazing about it I hope this movie theater survives for a none at 100 years this movie theater is literally the best and every single thing about it is just good and it's literally everything about it is just good like no other movie theater can top this the pizza was high it didn't look like cardboard like most other restaurants and it was actually good gooey and cheesy the popcorn it was really nice

The low rating is for the amount of trailers shown before the actual movie. It’s E-N-D-L-E-S-S!!!!!! I’ve been seating here for over half an hour and they must have shown over 15 trailers in o we 20 minutes. It is truly ridiculous!!!! Absurd!!! Everyone is complaining!!! I’ll never walk into a AMC theater again. Too torturous!!!!

Too expensive for what It is, I got the ticket popcorn and a drink package, $40.00 each, the popcorn was cold, the sinks in the bathroom didn't work, the place was dirty, lots and I mean a lot of trash left from the screening before ours, the movie was great the kids had fun, but I won't be back, I do not mind paying but at least clean the place!

No reclining seats yet. Find parking around Boston commons or China town and walk to the theater. Parking past 8 is free monday-saturday, otherwise it's 2 hour minimum. Sundays are free. Make sure you look at the signs when you park.

Watched my first movie in US. Quite an average experience. Very disappointed to know that IMAX is not 3D. But that's a personal preference. Went to watch Black Widow, first day. The show was housefull but the concession stands were understaffed. Also, the area around is dull and untidy. The auditorium is good. Screen and audio quality is good but you can feel that the auditorium is quite old with the quality of seats. The restrooms can barely accommodate 6-7 folks. So, as soon as any show leaves, there is a long queue outside the restrooms. Probably not worth the cost of ticket. Everything is functional post covid. Masks are recommended but not mandatory if you are fully vaccinated.
