We went Tuesday night for half price but found the rainbow uses some tricks by not being half price the night every other theatre does including itself... disappointed me and assures I will never go to studio 7 again... The only place where I can watch Hindi movies in Regina. Other multiplexes do have shows of Hindi movies, but only few of it. I like the popcorns and nachos here too. And we get free popcorn refill, if went for refill before 10 pm or so.

Usually a very good experience until our last visit with my 5 year old daughter and her friend. I accidentally kept my phone on after the commercials (got absorbed in news headlines about Trump and didn't notice when the movie started! Oops.) I am otherwise aware of and very respectful of the cel phone policy. A few minutes into the movie I was scared suddenly when I felt a hard tap on my shoulder and an employee said "Phone off!" He could have alerted me without touching me - it was an inappropriate action. It was even more upsetting when the owner/manager dismissed my concern without even talking to the employee. Otherwise all of the other staff have been great. Best popcorn in the city. Best movie prices.

Overall the experience is good, seats are old like others have said but the price is something else. It extremely cheap with around 5-7$ for a movie. Drinks and food are pricey but on the large stuff you get free refills. Some of the tech there is out of date but it works.

This is the best cheap theater I have been to. They still honor the classic toonie Tuesday deal, making it the perfect place for a cheap date mid week. Even on weekends it is only $5 bucks a ticket, and concession is still cheap in comparison to the Galaxy. Would recommend to anyone who couldnt justify box office priced tickets at release because the rainbow usually gets bog movies 3-4 weeks after they come out at the galaxies.

The cinema is great. The staff is great. Excellent value. The patrons however were terrible. They didn't seem to know movie etiquette or even have common decency. They talked through the movie, kept checking their phones during the show, threw a flashing toy down the aisle, and brought a baby who cried through the entire movie without anyone even trying to pacify her. I get it. Babies cry. I have kids. But, wow, this was next level, I-don't-give-a-crap parenting. And, to top the night off, after the show there was a guy in the washroom using the urinal with his pants and underwear around his ankles.

I would recommend Rainbow Cinemas two people that can't afford top prices and other movie theaters. So if you are willing to wait for the movies you want to see you come to the second-best then this is the place for you so you can feel that you've seen the best on the big screen at a great price that isn't blow hole in your pocket to a degree and they're Tuesday showings our only $2. Plus you can still enjoy that great theater popcorn and if you pick one of their specials you may get a treat along with your popcorn. So don't delay to enjoy one of the movies on the big screen at the one of the best cost-efficient movie theaters still in Regina!

The movie was supposed to start at 6:45pm. At about 7:35, they apologized and said the issues are resolved and movie will start in 15 minutes. After waiting for another 40 minutes, we decided to leave. My admiration for Canadian viewers' patience is as high as the disgust for the management of this place.

Great price. Older style cinema. Went for late movie with two 12 yrs olds. Entrance fee was $15 in total. Large popcorn and 2 medium drinks plus small candy was $20 with free refill on popcorn and drinks before 9.45! Cheap night and kids enjoyed it. Was busy, lots of families l. Staff very friendly.

In the past 20ish years of going for movies here I can't think of one time I was left unsatisfied with a film here. This theater does not have the greatest facilities as it hasn't really been renovated since, well I dont know when. BUT this being the case it always fills me with a sense of nostalgia when I see the flashing light bulbs at the entrance, the neon at the concession, the glass bricks at the arcade, and the carpet. Sometimes I forget that I'm at a theater because of how empty the viewing rooms can be on weeknights and I begin to think I'm sitting at home with my friends. Overall the theater is well kept, the staff is friendly, and you cant beat the price.

Went to the theatre to enjoy a movie, but a woman with her 2 kids a couple rows ahead of me decided she needed to be on her phone throughout the movie. BUT, luckily the staff came and told her where she could put her phone. She became indignant, as such a self-centered person would. Rude and ignorant female staff. Went for my kids birthday and staff gave the kids heck for sliding in their socks on the floor. The one staff gave the kids heck for standing by tbe bowling lane 5 minutes before the start time. Oh, this was a Sunday and only 5 people were bowling before we showed up. For the price you pay for a birthday party and what you get (including the ignorant red head with tattoos for a staff member), go somewhere else. Never go back again!

When it comes to movie theatres I prefer this place. On a Friday night for a top box office movie with 2 large bags of popcorn and 2 large drinks that you can get refills on the popcorn with butter and drinks it came to $37. At Cineplex 1 bag of popcorn, 2 drinks and a candy bag is $37 then you still pay $16 or so for the movie per person. The movie at rainbow is $5 per person and the food is $20. Plus they are going green and are using paper straws. So kudos to rainbow for trying to save the environment even if it's just with straws. Every bit helps. Also they keep the place at a good temperature. Not too cold and not too hot so I don't feel the need to bring a blanket. Cineplex is always cold.

You get a free refill on any large popcorn and drink. They put the buttery topping on in the middle and the top of the bag so it's buttery all the way through. Popcorn is always fresh.

Had my daughter's birthday party there. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was set up and decorated for the kids. Each kid had a little kiddie combo for the movie. All the kids really enjoyed themselves. Very decent price for everything we got! Extremely happy with our afternoon!

Have gone multiple times, they run movies a bit later than Cineplex and the screens are smaller. But the prices more than reflect that and the place feels high class, and the chairs are comfortable. Would definitely recommend toonie Tuesday or going for any cult films.

Go here to watch a movie on a big screen for a good price. It's a nice way to enjoy an evening with popcorn for a good price. Less expensive than going to a restaurant and if you pick the right movie, you'll have a great evening. If you pick a poor movie at least you know you didn't spend too much.
