Prices for food are way too high. Also, it's the most uncomfortable theatre I've ever been in. Any movie over 1.5 hours is worth the drive and price at galaxy. Arm rests are also way too short. If you have a drink in the cup holder, there's not much room for your arm anymore. The staff is also not very personable. Customer service skills could use some toning up.

Awesome and friendly service, clean and well maintained facilities, and the latest movies to entertain you. Landmark cinemas Sylvan Lake has three screens, great sound, and a small arcade in the lobby to entertain before and after your show. They also rent out their auditoriums for private showings and events.

I liked the small town feel. I went and saw the last Jedi on a Sunday afternoon. I prefer this theater to the Cinaplex in Red Deer.

Prices have gone thru the roof over the last couple years.. miss the days of 4 dollar Tuesdays, was a good reason to get out. I do enjoy how most of the time its quiet and not over crowded as red deer always is.

Nice little cinema stationed in Sylvan. Due to the size of the building, they can only have select films which typically are the blockbusters of the time. Really chill staff.

Theatre changed the show time of Captain Marvel from 9:50 (on the net) to 9:30 (showtime displayed at theatre digital billboard) . Story short, i ended up disappointed and unable to watch the movie.

It would be much nicer if head office would give them the money to add up to date, comfier seating. The sound isn't as loud as galaxy-- not that it's detrimental. Overall the staff and cozy atmosphere make this place what it is.

Had technical problems, and the movie wouldn't play. That on its own isn't so bad, but the situation was very poorly handled by the staff, making for a bad experience. I have seen shows here before that were very enjoyable, and the sound and picture quality are very good usually.

It is so much cheaper to watch movies here. The popcorn is a bit lower quality but other than that it's the best theatre around

I went here recently to watch a movie in 3d with not much high expectations as I would have in Toronto or Calgary. But to my surprise it turned out to be a wonderful experience. They had all the facilities along with good seating arrangements and a really big screen. Thank you for the great experience. I am sure I am coming back soon.

A great small town movie theater; the comfiest seats by far. And the best part is their prices. Unlike a typical theatre in Calgary or Red Deer the cost is only $9.99 compared to at least around $13.99 in Calgary. The staff are also quite friendly and are always pleasant. This theater is the perfect place to go on a poor weather weekend

Lovely cinematic experience in a large town setting. The popcorn is always fresh. The staff are friendly. The sound and picture are clear. It's exciting to watch a story on a big screen with a live audience. Before or after the show, there are a variety of arcade games to play. Independent films are shown in partnership with the library and the Sylvan Lake Film Society once a month! Let's go to the movies at Silver Lake Cinemas, Landmark Sylvan Lake!

Was shocked at how this place was run. We didn't even have our tickets checked, when we went into take our seats, I was so grossed out at the mess. It was disgusting and a bit scary....I will take the drive to Red Deer next time. Even the garbage's were overflowing.

What a lovely surprise! Three screens, multiple showings and even 3D! This tourist getting in out of a stormy afternoon at the campground was pleasantly impressed. Happy and helpful staff too!

not the best experience! when I buy popcorn I want fresh and hot not the left over afternoon popcorn for the price I'm paying I want fresh. An older lady(in to her late 60's) was coming in after the light were turned down and to see her fall up the stairs spilling her cold popcorn made me think the two young men working out front selling cold popcorn visiting , one could have walked her in what ever happened to ushers at the movie theaters? oh well will not be going back there anytime soon

Just watched A Quiet Place 2 tonight. First time back at the theater in over a year. They had people socially distancing in the theater and in the concession line. It was clean and I felt safe being there. I can't wait to go again!

Disaapointed that the theatre was so dirty, messy and covered in what looked like days of mess. We attended the first showing of the day. It was not clean. The boosters for the children look like a health hazard. Normally I don’t give bad reviews. But... My daughter dropped her 3D glasses and didn’t want to sift through whatever was on the floor beneath her chair. Pretty disgusting. The staff was incredibly unfriendly. Good thing the movie was good.

Nice theater. Clean. Nice seats. Not too busy. The only issue I have is that there are 3 movies playing and all 3 movies are always children movies. It would be nice if at night they would play at least one adult movie. Switch it up a bit so we don't have to drive to Red Deer all the time.

We also got Rancid butter here last night. They changed it out for a new popcorn with margarine but I never seen them so much as give the rancid butter a smell or check. Pretty gross!

I like going to here. They keep the place clean, it's never crazy busy which is nice. People are nice and good service and there are pretty decent deals throughout the week. I'll be honest......they could keep that popcorn a little fresher. Overall though a good night out

Such a nice little place. It is amazing they can stay open. There were only 5 of us in the entire theater. Great way to watch a show. Durring these covid times support your local small businesses like this. They were careful, well prepared and limiting numbers. Though it wasn't needed this time, they were prepared.
