This is our neighbourhood theater and we have spend hundreds of hours here. A recent facelift (still under construction at time of this writing) has brought in reclining chairs throughout and staff is always friendly.

Closest theater to me so it's been my go-to theater for a while now. Seating is extremely comfortable and after the recent renovation the place is better than ever. Screens are big and the sound makes you rumble in your seat.

This theater can be either a hit or a miss. Sometimes there is a scheduling problem where newer movies are played less frequently than older movies. Multiple ownership transitions makes it difficult to become part of rewards program where loyal customers aren't benefiting from returning. Pricing has also skyrocketed within the past years when everything else remains the same. Other than that, it is pretty clean and the staff are alright.

My go-to film viewing location. The theater entrance is user friendly. Each employee I interacted with today was so very helpful, relaxed, looked me in the eye, very professional. Ticket sellers were so very patient managing questions from ticket buyers in front of me. I applaud Landmark's training/hiring program. The theater seats are comfy, sound volume is just right. I so enjoy the film viewing experience at Landmark Kanata. Thank you.

A massive improvement from the god-awful Empire Theatres brand, but still unsure when compared to the original AMC. One of the benefits Landmark brings is full drink customization. No longer are you limited to Coke, Sprite, and the boring drinks you see everywhere; you can take a Cherry Coke, Vanilla Coke, all sorts of Fanta styles, and even mix it up to your liking. The prices are inflated, but every theater is like that now, sadly. The auditoriums are, of course, satisfactory, and the service is perfectly fine.

The theatre was small and I had a light just above me that was on the whole time and the popcorn was awfull. I love popcorn and this is a few different landmarks I visit and the popcorn does not taste fresh then you pay extra for butter and 1 out 15 times you will get the bitter. It's frustrating

Go to Coliseum! It's great to get sub-par popcorn refill, but that doesn't outweigh the ridiculous heat and the uncomfortable chairs. When we were watching a 2 hour movie, there was an incessant beeping in the background. When I brought this up with a manager, she told me it was a truck backing up. For 2 hours? She offered no valid reasoning for the noise or the abnormal heat setting. Very disappointed in her customer service and the overall experience. There was a reason why all the other theaters were sold out except Landmark.

Excellent recliner seating and the safety bar does not obstruct your view of the screen. Sound system is also very good, expect to be surrounded by sound like your in the movie.

Brand new cafeteria was a little overwhelming but it makes sense and works quite well. I wish the food selection was larger though. IMAX theater 13 isn’t labeled properly, and was confusing.

They have started to upgrade the theaters with these awesome reclining chairs and also do assigned seating so you don't have to race to the good seats every time you go to the movies. So long as they don't Jack the prices up...I might start seeing more movies again.

Even though it's been mentioned a billion times in the other reviews, the coke freestyle machines ARE awesome and it's worth going just for that. You haven't lived if you haven't tried Cherry Vanilla Coke. They've got a great air hockey table and a couple of other standard movie video game things including a basketball hoop. The Orville Redenbacher popcorn is awesome and they sell some of the flavoured seasoning powder stuff to go on it like cheese, salt & vinegar, and ketchup.The theatre is clean & the sound quality is good. If you go for a 3D movie, you can pop the lenses out of the glasses and keep them if for whatever reason you needed fake nerd glasses. For some reason when I was in grade 6, everybody did this & though it was the coolest thing in existence. Sometimes the lines at the front are long, but there are touchscreen self-ticket-purchasing machines for debit & credit. Admittedly the food is overpriced, but that's the same pretty much everywhere you go. I reccomend you go late because when the theatre's empty it's just really cool. Five stars.

This is probably my "go to" location for watching movies. The service is usually pretty fast and friendly. The theatres themselves are what you would expect from a chain of this size - large screens, comfy seats and as clean as you could expect. Ticket prices are pretty well standard plus there are multiple options to watch new releases in such as 3D or IMAX 3D. My biggest gripe, and this goes for all theatres, is the cost of concessions. This is expected however, as selling food and drink is where most theatres make their money.

Since the renovations were completed, this theater went from one I would reluctantly go to and became one I very much enjoy. The new seats are large and incredibly comfortable, to the point where you may be tempted to nod off during the movie, even if it's one you're enjoying. The new cafeteria/self-serve concession area is also a welcome change that makes things much more efficient and casual. The audio visual experience is also quite good. While I haven't been to an IMAX show here, the standard ones are very solid. They're not too loud and while they used to have a lot of speaker rattle, that seems to have been dealt with in the upgrades as well. It's still expensive to go to the movies and honestly, most of the time, I will just rent stuff digitally at home unless it's something I really want to see. When I do want to see something in the theatre though, I'm glad a place this good is so near to me.

I used to love coming here because of great movie experience, great quality popcorn and free refills on drinks. But now when I visited on March 22nd, I found out that they dont do free refills anymore. I dont get it.. I pay $5.49 + tax for a drink and they dont even have refills? This sort of ruined my experience as I had to buy a drink and be very conservative while drinking it when watching the movie as I didnt wanna spend another $5.49 + tax. This isnt the movie experience I was looking forward to. I will probably not come back again.

I love it here. The seats are SO comfortable. You can recline them and the middle arm rest can be raised up and tucked away. Even when reclined, there is enough space for adults of all sizes to walk in front of you on their way to their seats. I love reserving ahead of time so that I don't have to worry about leaving time to buy tickets right before the show or not getting my favourite seats. The food is average for theatres. Expensive and nothing special. I usually have dinner at the Ox Head Restaurant just steps from the theatre because their food is amazing and cheap, so then I'm too full to waste money on theatre junk food!

The lobby set up is great. I like how you basically shop for your concession foods the go pay at the central cash. It's so much faster that waiting to be served in a concession line. The new seats are the most comfortable in the city and you can still lift the arm rest between seats to cuddle with your spouse. I highly recommend Landmark.

This sprawling theatre is the only place to see popular movies on the big screen in Kanata. The seats are being swapped out with extremely comfortable recliners in most theatre rooms. The staff are friendly and super helpful. My only beef is that the consession stand often runs out of anything more complex than bagged treats and popcorn. Eat dinner before you go as even at it's best they only offer snack foods. Other than that the place is well maintained, with good sound and projection quality.

Very comfortable and pretty accessible. Parking can be a challenge but you can often find something at the very back of the building. It seems all the cinemas have now been converted to recliner seats. So nice! I wish there were a way to know online which pairs of seats have the single armrest that can be raised between them. That'd be perfect for a date. Right now the lobby, ticket purchase and concession areas are undergoing renovations, with the concession area temporarily divided up into two smaller counters, one in each wing of the theatre. But that a sense to translate into shorter lines.

Something I never thought of I noticed is every movie room is on the same floor. Great for when you're injured but still want to go to the movies. Yes, your hub is the concession stand but given current renovations you don't get the washroom indicators on the floor like before. Place is otherwise clean.

There are so many theaters it is great! Often movies will last longer because they can move them into smaller theaters, this means you can see some movies that are out of theaters most places. They are currently renovating to update the seats and interior which is needed pretty badly, the old seats are torn and sad looking.

The new seats are amazing and provide a lot of leg room. They can be adjusted so you’re tilted back but not all the way flat. The cinema is located near a variety of restaurants and shopping. Parking is free but might be further then usual for someone who has trouble walking far. I would definitely recommend this theatre to any movie buffs.

This was a memorable experience! I thought it was worthwhile to drive from downtown to this theatre, the cinemas are not too big, and quite luxurious. Loved the reclining armchair seats. The price was better than in cineplex. Overall, quite a luxuriously self-indulgent cinema experience

It is a nice cinema complex. We frequently go to the movies at Landmark. However, I personally do not care for the new walk-through snack bar. The fountain drink stations are dirty with sticky floors and messy counters. We often have to wait to pay for our snacks because there are not enough cashiers to serve customers. The wait is so bad that we now arrive 20-30 minutes early to ensure we can get our snacks before the movie starts. Management could certainly rectify the situation with more cashiers or perhaps introduce an automated cashier system much like they have now at grocery stores.

Good fast service. The concession stand offers drink machines now where you choose you own pop from about 30 different variaties. The sound quality is amazing and the seat size is perfect. The screens are huge.

Reclining seats are great, popcorn is good. This theatre is good. The only beef I have is with the manager. I asked for a clear cup at the concession stand so I could fill it up with water, which I did at the drink machine. I then noticed that this weird guy from behind the counter was eyeing me down. He clicked on his little radio, and sure enough an usher stopped me and said “ the manager wants me to confirm that your water is not carbonated “. Not even a sorry after this big fact: the manager was wrong, it was just water.

Great place. I love the movies and me and my boyfriend come here constantly. (2+ times a month when allowed) the food section is great because i can just choose what I want and get in line. I would suggest maybe drink trays or a bag or something people can put snacks and candies in so they are easier to carry around. Trust me, if I could carry more I would get more. ( I do use the little cardboard trays and they are nice but I’m scared to drop some things)

I watched Star Wars here and it was amazing huge couches! Expensive popcorn and drinks! There are multiple auditoriums, some are small some are big! The cinema looks old from the outside although it is really modern from inside! You can check in through self-check in machines or by going to the window!

The line for the concession stand was extremely long, I missed the beginning of the movie. Other than that, it was great. We chose our seats. Wish they could recline a bit further because it stop at an awkward position. The washroom was pretty clean. Parking is a bit of a hassle at times as the theatre is located within a shopping outlet mall.

Some of the seating and screens are terrific!!! Unfortunately, the snack prices are way too high so I bring my own. They have an amazingly easy online ticket purchase system which allows you to reserve your seat in advance, without the need to create an account. Nice, clean cinema with an oddly quiet clientele compared to other neighbourhoods I've gone to watch movies. Apart from snack prices, I don't see how a movie theater experience could get any better.

Renovations look great, but the new layout seems to be geared toward creating less of a reliance on staff to assist with food/drink and more on a self-service model. Huge thumbs down on leaving popcorn sit under a heat lamp instead of making it fresh in front of you. One of the competitive advantages I thought Landmark had over Cineplex was their free refills on large popcorn and drink. With the recent renovations this theatre has eliminated free refills & layered butter on popcorn, and has increased pricing on some concession items. Incredibly disappointed with this direction as I feel it is geared more towards creating leaner operations instead of enhancing customer experience.

So big! I went again to check out an Imax 3d movie. The screen didn't seem quite as big as I thought it would be but the reclining chairs were amazing. It was full reclining. They have a great consession area. Overall a great theatre experience.

I love this theatre! I went there once with some friends and it had great service. It's a quite pleasant theatre. They also have like 100 different drink options lol. I love how their arms on the chairs can fold up and down.

This theatre is great. The Atom app makes buying your tickets a cinch. And you can cancel 20 minutes before the movie starts, no problem. And as for the theatre, the do it yourself soda machine is awesome, and the seats are HUGE. Bigger than Cineplex VIP. This is my theatre of choice.

A very average place unfortunately with no competition in the area. A few selected theatres have nice reclining seats however the vast majority of the seats are just your usual squeaky stinky one. The food is subpar as well. What can you do, not buy the popcorn?! Meh.

Recliner seats are the best. Best to get a Costco deal as concession food is just unjustifiedly too expensive. Their popcorn is good and the coke machines gives you plenty of options for soft drinks. They also have an alcohol bar and you can watch a movie sipping wine or beer. ;-)

Pretty spiffy upgrades recently done to this place. You grab your own popcorn and snacks and line up to pay. Come to think of it it's a bit like herding sheep but its clean and new and it was all around enjoyable. The seats were amazing recliners that make it much more worth the cost of a movie these days.

Best cinema in ottawa. Big comfy chairs with lots of room, and a very cool renovated concession area - you grab all your own popcorn and candy and go to the counter. Also they have the coke machines where you can customize your drinks!

Favorite theatre in Ottawa/Kanata. All of their theatres are equipped with recliner seats. The staff are very friendly. The establishment and especially the washrooms are always clean, a good sign that it is well managed. The line-up for food goes by quick as they always have plenty of people to man the counters.

The new seats are amazing! They are almost more comfortable then my living room. I love the leg room I’m six feet and I never have to worry about people passing by me. I went to an older standard theatre last week and realized how much superior this theatre is over the old form. I would only go to the old style if I had to because the movie I wanted to see was not playing here. I really like the drink Machine because you can make wacky choices like raspberry Coke Zero. With 24 theatres few movies sell out completely. You can order your seats ahead of time and know where your sitting when you buy!

Absolutely amazing layout. Much better than Cineplex cinemas. The theaters themselves have seats that recline and large arm rests for maximum comfort. The soda machine has a wide variety of drinks to choose from and there is also an option for alcohol.

I can't say anything bad about this theater! I drive 30 minutes just to come here because of the seats and just consideration to your personal space. Not possible for anyone to kick your seats.. prices are reasonable ($17 for two people on Tuesdays).. prices for food and drinks arent much different than cineplex and you have so many more choices here! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Favorite place to watch a summer movie or Star Wars. Love the fact that even the NON 3D theatres are nice with big recliners. Not too sure i like self serve snack bar as the popcorn is not as warm sitting in the big self serve glass warmer... Lots of selection for snacks and even cans of beer. I guess the reasoning behind the self serve snack bar is so you don't have to wait in line for a family with 3 kids to decide on their candy and sodas... We buy our tickets from Costco and get the snack packs for kids and snacks for adults. But love the recliners! Movie wasn't too loud either just right for Star Wars Rise of Skywalker. Plus the outlet malls and plenty of food options are around the theatre .

The theater renovation is really nice, but the popcorn is really hit or miss unfortunately. Has been for a long time. I frequently get bags with lots of seeds or broken kernels. They really scrape up the dregs that other places would put in the trash. I'll probably stop buying popcorn there altogether and/or try other places that sell a better product.

The one in kanata is beibg renovated, but still very accessible and clean. My first time in a Landmark theatre and i was suprise with their showroom with incline seat. Room was big and seat very comfortable even at regular price (better seats than Cineplex VIP for a more reasonable price). Great experience overall.

This is my favorite theatre in Ottawa! The location is huge! It is extremely well kept and tidy. There is a huge selection of foods and treats at the concession stand so it can cater to all. The theatre itself is big and the seats are comfy, especially the recliners! The screen was big but not as big as I pictured. There are lots of arcade games for kids to enjoy. I highly recommend if you're in the area!

Great place, sub-optimal IMAX experience. The staff are very friendly, the seats are comfortable, the screens are good, and the IMAX theatre is pretty good for all except one annoying thing: the sound has always been too loud for me, AND sound leaks in from other theatres - that's a big no-no for me. For that reason alone (leaking sound) those IMAX theatres would never get THX certification.

All the theaters now have reclining seats which are pretty awesome. The seats are very spacious too with lots and of arm room, I would however avoid sitting in rows e and f as it's too high up and restricts some part of the screen if you fully recline. The concession stand is fairly pricy for the quantity, specially the nachos. Would rather do a meal in centrum before the movie!

First time there in a long time. And almost didn't get to see the movie we wanted and the manager on gave me a seat for my daughter and I so my seven yrs old wouldn't have a melt down about not seeing the movie. We shared one seat and I only had to pay for myself.

There's a human you can buy your tickets from if you're not into the machines. Massive candy store. They sell beer!! Including Heineken but there was at least 5 brands. Comfortable chairs in the theater. IMAX is wheelchair accessible. 3 adults 1 kid $70 before food and drinks.

Wow! It’s been a few years since I last saw a movie here. The recent upgrades / facelift are impressive. The concession stand, or should I say, ‘marketplace’ will explode your sweet-tooth. The self-serve popcorn, the variety of sweets and other treats is impressive. You can grab yourself a coffee, cappuccino, pretzel, hotdog and the ubiquitous nachos and cheese - so there’s all the salty and all the sweet you need. The drink fountain - offers over 100 drinks! So - everything for every taste. There’s a push to those reclining chairs and I am a big fan! It truly is a great way to watch a movie.

The two stars are nothing against the theater itself. They serve refillable popcorn which cineplex stopped, and that's amazing service to have. HOWEVER, you cannot cancel your booking through the phone or online. You have to physically go to the theater to refund it. So, think twice before you book any movies here.

The place was SO dirty tonight, garbage cans overflowing, no straws in any of the drink areas, half of the drink machines were down and the ones that worked didn't taste right at all. Food and garbage all over the floors. So sad to see such a nice place not taken care of!

I'll make the trek from Nepean to Kanata for this theater. Smart setup and flow for scanning your ticket as soon as you walk through the doors, then snacks and drinks, then to the theater. Clean. Good size and definition of screen, great sound, comfy seats.

NOPE. Not again. Such a weird experience. The "market style" a la carte shopping experience for food was poor. Not a big fan of everyone having access to the open food containers (popcorn) Floors were dirty and the bathrooms worse.

Landmark recently replaced the seats, and the new seating is good. Extra cup holders are provided between each pair of seats. We saw a movie in IMAX, big screen and big sound. The sound levels were about 80 dB; lots of intense low frequencies especially in the previews. The popcorn was good, very fresh. The drink machines are the Coke Freestyle, with about a hundred options. We bought tickets online, so didn't deal with lobby staff much. Cleanliness of theatre and washrooms was pretty good.

Great place to see a show but the canteen has been pretty sticky and neglected lately. It seems they are not keeping enough staff on hand to keep up with spills and restocking napkins, straws etc. It has been notable lately.

This used to be the best multiplex in town (especially when it was owned by AMC), but the cinematic experience they offer has declined significantly since the renovations. The tawdriness of the self-serve concessions has been duly noted in other comments, but the new seating layouts in each cinema were also horribly conceived. Each row of recliner seats is elevated so high that every time someone walks across to get to their seat or leave the room, their body obstructs the film projection and casts a shadow on the screen! Additionally, the individual seating rows are not carpeted, just solid wood. So you can hear everyone's footsteps, LOUDLY, as they walk in and out of the room. This is profoundly distracting and it cheapens the moviegoing experience. The only reason I still come here is because it remains the largest multiplex in town and therefore provides the most options. They play stuff here that won't necessarily show up at other theatres. But I now make a conscious effort to avoid Landmark Kanata whenever possible.

All I can say is WOW! They have done an amazing job on the recent renovations. I usually prefer Landmark than other theaters, but these recent renovations makes my decision even easier when considering a movie. They have redone the concession area along with most of the theaters. The leather reclining chairs are amazing and provide the best experience possible. I found it really strange that you had to open doors to select your popcorn that multiple other people have just touched. Also you pour your own drink and have to lift a lid to select a lid and touch a screen multiple other people have just touched. I don't think it's very safe but the social distancing in the theater itself was good.

The food's a bit expensive, but they have loads of choices. The Coca-Cola Freestyle machine is worth the high price. Most of the seats recline and they are made of really comfy leather. It's really worth it to see a film here in IMAX if you can, the screen is giant and the sound quality is amazing. Normally the area is really clean, and there are never any loud people. Sometimes it can get very busy on Friday and Saturday evenings, so it's best to get to the cinema early so you don't have to stand in the queue for hours.

I love this place, the reclining seats, the online purchasing and seat selection but since they remodelled, me, my family and most my friends really do not like or enjoy the self serve option for the concession. The popcorn is generally messy, which makes me think dirty and the popcorn is always at the very best room temperature. If I am paying an outlandish amount for popcorn, I want is fresh and HOT. Then once you get your popcorn you stand in line and still have to go to pay, so everything semi warm, is ice cold by the time you get to the theatre. Either make it truly self serve and you scan and pay or go back to the way it was before. It was never overly busy even on the most crazy days. Also, if you want people to come to the movies, prices do need to drop at the concessions. The last time I was a the Landmark on a cheap Tuesday, it was like a ghost town.

Wow. The new renovations to this theatre are awful! The self-service concessions eliminated combo deals and free refills on the $8 large popcorn. I have been going to this cinema since I was a teenager. I'm still impressed every time I go, even after the transition in ownership. Directional signage is great and I like the layout of the place, which it very easy to find your theatre. The bathrooms have been clean any time I have needed to use them.

Great location for Dinner and a Show, lots of great restaurants just out front. Makes use of the Atom movies app, which is the best of its kind I've seen and strongly recommend. Has an IMAX screen, which is generally worth the extra few bucks for the sound alone. Generally clean and well maintained. Theatre seating is nothing fancy, but not an issue. Some theatres currently being reno'd for what looks to be better sound insulation - work doesn't seem to affect experience, completed theatres look good. Doesn't use SCENE, but still generally prefer this theatre to others in the area.

I'm not sure who designed the new snack area, but there definitely was no user testing involved. Self service should be easier for the user to complete a task, however, customers are forced into two huge lineups instead of one. Additionally, the number of pop machines has been decreased, and popular beverages were not be restocked. It seemed that the cinema suffered a staffing shortage over the holidays, and perhaps things would've run smoother if there was enough staff to help people navigate the new system.

This theatre location has changed businesses multiple times, but Landmark is the best. The building is always super clean, the concession options has been improved. The best part about this theatre is every single theatre has reclining seats at no extra charge. My partner is an avid moviegoer and we wouldn’t pick another place in Ottawa.

The reclining theatre seats are amazing, but the lobby and food service area of this place feels like it survived Chernobyl. The tiles are falling off or missing from the counters, the food selection is stuck in the 1980s, and I felt like I was waiting for a train at rush hour during the 20-minute line-up for food. The VIP cinemas in Lansdowne are head and shoulders above this place, so avoid until they do a major reno.

Love the new renovations, the recliners in the theaters remain as great as ever. Can't give Landmark a perfect score though for two reasons. First is that their concessions are way overpriced, $5+ for a small drink makes absolutely no sense. Second is that Landmark used to offer free refills for popcorn and drinks(and that really set them apart from their competition), but this particular Landmark Cinemas has ended free refills for anything. As it is right now, I won't be buying any food or drinks at this location.

Dissaponted again since last update, the new lobby Reno looks nice but the self serve concessions stand is a disaster. It just takes too long to get through and the place looks like a popcorn huricane tore through . The problem is there is not enough staff and half the cash registers are empty. Would be better with some kind of phone pay system. Still one of the better overall theaters in town but they just can't figure out how to do concessions properly. Original review. This went from least favourite cinema to most favorite after recent renovations. Main lobby still under construction, but all theaters have comfy reclining seats and they figured out how to get concessions out quickly. Looking forward to more services including beer and wine, and hopefully real food options soon. Also best value cinema for first run movies. Tickets and concessions are both "reasonable" compared to the other chain in town.

Having reserved seating at this location makes it a lot easier to order your tickets and not have to worry about getting in the theater 15 minutes early. The Atom app that they use allows you to even skip the concession line, which is a huge time saver. Layout is fairly nice, lots room in the lobby, however lines can get very long and service isn't always the fastest. Inside the movie room, it can get pretty dirty. The seats are comfortable, and overall is a nice theater.

The recliner seats are nice, however the new self-serve concession stand is a complete disaster. Unfortunately you can expect your popcorn to be cold, and not filled to the top. When we asked about topping it off the staff member we were speaking with said that they could not help us, and that free refills were no longer offered. With the rewards program at Cineplex, it is with the extra 10 minute drive for better service.

The theatre is located in Kanata Centrum. There's a lot of parking; however, it does tend to fill up on the weekend nights. The parking serves a lot of restaurants and stores in the area. I recently went to a 3D movie with my family. The theatre is nice and clean. Prices were reasonable, pretty consistent with other theatres. The $3 extra cost for 3D movies isn't really worth it, in my opinion. For the Christmas season, they offer nice discount booklets when you spend thirty dollars or more. Coupons include free popcorn, buy one pass get one free, etc.

The theatres themselves are very nice, especially with the recliner chairs. The main thing I dislike is the rediculously overpriced concessions. The cost of a fountain drink and popcorn is the price for a meal in a restaurant. I understand the idea of having everything self serve for the concessions does speed things up as everyone is only lining up to pay, however it's probably not best idea for their bottom line as a lot of people walkout when they see the prices. $8 for a fountain drink or a bag of chips is a bit much.

My only complaint would be that the IMAX theater actually hurt my ears it was so loud at one point, and I listen to music very loud so it's pretty intense.

Great movie theater with relaxing recliner seating. The recent Reno's have resulted in an innovative user experience as you "shop" for your movie snacks in a "market" type setting. Although I was hesitant with this type of model when I first walked in, once you have everything you want in and (popcorn, drinks, hot dogs, or an assortment of chips and sweets) the cash is quite efficient since you are just needing to pay and not way for food prep. This makes waiting in line much more efficient. I will continue to visit this location for movies not playing locally. Worth the short trip to Kanata.

Decent place, with a bit pricey tickets, though it feels like a oversize theater (24 screens - the largest in Ottawa). Occasionally on some of the movies on Friday nights, there were only about a dozen or so people in the room while they have three or even four screens showing the same movie on the same night.

They have found a way to streamline movie goers and reduce human interactions. Not a terrible thing, but a much less personal experience and it's obvious that the company is more concerned with getting people in the doors and buying things than providing good customer service. Employees were difficult to find and if you did find one, they were being pulled in so many directions it was nearly impossible for them to focus. But I do like being able to purchase mobile tickets and the seating is incredible. I also like the assigned seating.

Our go to place with kids. The reclining seats are a winner but the concessions are extremely expensive. Every time we end up paying more than the tick price for food. Recently installed big comfy reclining seats in a bunch of the theatres makes for an excellent movie going experience. Add to that top notch popcorn and one of those coke freestyle machines and you have a great night at the movies!

It's an OK theatre, nothing special. New lazyboy style chairs have been installed making for a more comfortable viewing experience than what it used to be at this location. Concession lines are quite long and beverages and snacks are overpriced (like all other movie theatres); food quality and portion size is quite poor too.

Went for a movie with the family during March break and the movie wreaked of toxic chemicals...so disappointed as all the movies were already booked and we couldn’t switch theatres. Another theatre was not offered when we complained about the toxic chemical smell...we asked but were told no or we would have to pay more for a more expensive movie....we just didn’t have it in the budget for this month. Was surprised that we weren’t better accommodated as we normally have a better experience with landmark. But the concierge was run by teens so I guess service will be going down :(

I've always been a fan of their recliner seats and using the costco passes online to buy in advance. The new concession renovation is a disaster. Even at a 4pm show it was a mess. By the time you grab your popcorn, waiting in line for your drinks and then in line to pay the popcorn is cold. Likely will just go to Cineplex.

Clean theatre, with most of the theatres containing the comfortable recliner chairs. The seats in the IMAX theatres aren't the fully reclining type, which aren't extremely comfortable, but they still beat the old standard theatre chairs. A lot of their theatres allow you to reserve your seats ahead of time, if not all of them, so it's rare that you're stuck looking for a seat when you get there.

I really like the setup of this theatre. It is one of the modern arenas with the large recliner chairs that you book at the time of paying. Makes for a more enjoyable experience that someone is not sitting on top of you with space for your arms and drink. The recliner is electric and goes to many different settings to allow you to be comfortable. The concession stand is self serve for all the items and makes the time waiting for service much less then at the traditional theatre. Always look forward to attending this movie when I'm in the Kanata area. Pricing is expensive like all movie theatres for food but come prepared to spend the money or eat at the many restaurants surrounding before.

Awful experience, I already had a problem with my tickets, but the worst part was the concession stand. It cost 19.75 (including tax) to buy 1 large popcorn, a medium drink, and a small drink. Thinking that the price of the drink was reflective of being able to re-fill the drink after it depleted, I was asked by a theater employee to either pay again for the drink or he would trow it out, WTF? I pay that much for a drink and I can't even have one refill? Is this a theater for people with too much disposable income? Although the theater is clean, its just a waste at the end of the day, I hate this theater and hope I never have to set foot into it again. Would have rather saved my money and gone to a Cineplex. Would give zero stars if I could.

It's a good theater with lots of upgrades. The snack layout is a bit confusing, but once you've been through it once it's not so bad. The scanner doesn't work if your email client presents the barcode in dark mode. So switch to normal theme if you want a quicker check-in experience.

Visiting Landmark Cinema. Busy evening for shows. 7:20 showing of 1917, theatre 12. No popcorn on shelves 10 minutes before show - didn't bother waiting for more to be made, long cash lineups so did not bother with other confectionary items - likely saved myself $15- $20 dollars. During movie, sound leaking from other theatre (likely 11) heard on numerous occasions making it very difficult to hear at times and concentrate on the movie we were there to see.

The recent renovations to concessions was a great idea. They also have a counter to buy alcoholic drinks though, as expected in a theatre, the prices are very high. The only flaw keeping me from giving the theatre five stars, is that switching to these fancy new drink dispensers they added more maintenance that needs to be done, and thus far they aren't keeping up. The actual theater rooms are great. Comfortable leather reclining chairs. Good sound quality. Good picture.

Very good theatre overall! Interesting setup for the food vendors (cafeteria style) but it also has a lot more selection that most Landmark theatres I’m used to. Recliner seats are very comfortable. One down side is that the entrance is on the other side of the building as the parking, and in bad weather, or if you have a wheelchair, it’s a pain to get all the way around to go in. If you go in a little bit their wine/beer booth will be open, I hope it’s got a good selection!

This place has gone under many changes, but this seems to be the best. The self serve idea has made this one of the best places to see a movie. Full recliner theaters and the reduced wait time [Employee said from 2-3 minutes down to 20-30 seconds per order] makes this a really good experience. Prices on newer items such as the large bags of chips and candies are extreme, but items such as drinks and popcorn are good compared to other places. Would love to see a price reduction on some of the bagged chips, candies and sweets.

Our favourite theatre in Ottawa to go for a night out. Kanata Centrum has lots of dining and shopping options before the movie, and the theatre itself is in a great location, easy to bus to with a transit station beside the theatre, and lots of parking surrounding the building although the spaces can fill up quickly depending on the night. Their website is easy to navigate to purchase tickets in advance and it’s quick to get your ticket scanned and walk in. Typical theatre food once inside, and the theatre seats are comfy and a lot of the seats have an arm rest that can go up if you’d like to snuggle with your movie date. The size of the theatre rooms can range from huge 3D Imax size for the blockbusters to small cozy theatres for the less popular movies. The staff here has always been friendly and polite as well.

I'm very disappointed with the service at this theater. We watched lion king at 11 at theater 21 and I was so distracted by the screen that did not fill out when the movie started. There was a clear divider on both sides of the screen that I couldn't stop looking at. When I reported the issue to the attendant she advised me that she had advised the manager and he has said that this was normal. I'm a huge movie buff and I go to the movies all the time. I have never seen this happen ever. Ruined the movie and whole experience. Will not go be going to landmark again.

Great cinema and good idea for the concessions. I would recommend fixing the popcorn situation though, since people often take a bag until they realize they want a different size or don't want it and then go put it back under the heaters which is pretty unsanitary. Doesn't seem like there is much enforcement against this.

The recent changes at Landmark Kanata have had a negative effect on the cinema experience at this location, starting with your entry into the lobby. While it's been given a more open appearance, upon entry there was a long line for 2 ticket checkers. Although we purchased online, we had to find out where the line was (which wrapped around the corner of the lobby as it was so long) - they should have the ability to put more than two people on for checking tickets. The concession stand was a negative - previously you could pre-order food in the app, but no longer - it's all self-serve for everything, which you bring up to the cash. There is no clear singeage of deals, offers, etc., creating confusion for all of us who are experiencing these changes for the first time. It also means spilled popcorn all over the floor as people try to juggle food, drinks, and candies and spilling them everywhere. It actually seemed to result in a longer line, as people move back and forth to figure out what they need, and then still have to wait in a long line to pay. It was a very long and frustrating experience, and my mood was affected by all the other upset people grumbling alongside me. Finally, after all the renovations and new seats, why would you leave the IMAX 3D theatre with the original uncomfortable seats? As a tall guy, who had a tall guy sitting in front of me, whenever he would put his hands behind his head he would brush my knees... talk about distracting experiences. I really hope they reverse some of the changes for the concession stand, and add on additional support at the entrance.

I've been going to this location since 2004, back when it was an AMC, and have always thoroughly enjoyed my movie-going experience. The recent renovations/upgrades to the concession area are a welcome addition and I really like that you can choose your own drink mixture. The staff are always welcoming and provide great service, the theatres and washrooms are consistently clean and they have the best popcorn around!

Decent cinema, but they have smaller screens and seating areas compared to the more modern day theatres, also the sound is not as booming or powerful. Since the take over by Landmark (it's not new, I know), the cinema has gotten a lot better. Seat upgrades, self serve multiple soda flavour machines, I haven't been served any burnt popcorn, and their lines concess6 stand lines move very quickly. Cleanliness has also improved - theater seats are cleaner and floors not sticky. Staff just seem friendlier - from the ticket sales, to ticket takers and concession sales. All around good experience.

Overall a great experience! The layout, screens and concessions were amazing and I can see why this cinema is much better than any other Cineplex cinema in Ottawa. My only complaint (and the reason for losing one star) is theaters should be cleaned after every movie. As we went to go watch Dune in IMAX, it was evident that they didn't clean the auditorium after the previous showing...I found skittles in my cup holder.

Options! This place has so many options to choose from when it comes to how you purchase a ticket to go out to a movie: - Ticket booth - Ticket kiosks - Online (website) - Atom app - Costco movie ticket bundles As far as movie choices go they offer standard, 3D and IMAX versions of the big budget movies, so pick and choose which one is for you. Concessions are always a bit expensive in a theater but the lines always move fast and the staff have always been courteous to me. Overall I can't say I have had a bad experience once at Landmark!

So comfortable with the reclining chairs..only lost a star because of their new food system, you grab ur popcorn etc yourself before going to the cash..they have to see your order to charge you, you cant just say I want this and that. Very confusing and inconvienient as most people who were there at the same time were going to pay and were turned around and told to get their food first so the line up was a mess...plus people with big orders had to carry them to the cash first! Two people in line spilled their popcorn and had to leave the line to get more.

Seats are amazing but the sound is not as loud and surround as I'd like. The line up if paying cash is slow as well. Most of the booths have no attendants even on weekends when it's busy. I guess go with debit so that you can get your own ticket but then you'd have to line up and wait a while for the popcorn etc. The movie experience itself is good. It was also really hard to find parking. I'm guessing it's easier on weekdays. Simply go really early, like 30-40 minutes before your movie so that you are seated on time.

I went shortly after the reopening and was very satisfied with the safety measures they are taking. Everything has been thought through in regard to sanitisation. They also showed screenings of older movies for dirt cheap. I saw the extended edition of Lord of the Rings the Two Towers with my dad for a grand total of $5.98 (they had a deal on Tuesdays) The only slight complaint is the food prices but even they aren't too bad considering ticket prices. Great place to watch a movie.

We went to a late show on Monday March 9th 2020 and had a great time. The manager was there and was very friendly and made us feel welcome. All of the staff were very nice and polite. The food area was very clean and organized. The theater was also very clean and it has very comfy lounge chairs with excellent quality picture viewing. I will return!!

This theatre made me enjoy going to the movies for the first time in years. Tickets are reasonably priced and the place is super clean and well laid out. The seats are the comfiest theatre seats ever and I don't want to go to a theatre that has tiny non-reclining seats ever again. So easy to buy tickets at the machines. The new renovations are great and I love the self-serve aspect of the concessions area. Not sure why there's so many complaints about it! Tons of variety for snacks and the drink machines are really fun. Of course the food and drink are overpriced, but it's a movie theatre, so that's not a big surprise. Definitely worth the drive to Kanata, as it's the best new movie theatre in the Ottawa area.

Bought the tickets online over 24 hours in advance. Super easy ticket scan at the entrance. Theatre was very clean. Volume was perfect. Seats were comfy. We go a few times a year and always enjoy going to this cinema.

This location has ruined the theatre experience. People are treaded like gerbils in a maze, to buy your extremely over price undersized food products. Then you up graded the seats ...great job. But you blew it putting two rows under the screen, to make an extra buck. When you buy the tickets, and the staff tell you "there's no bad seats" Unless your a kid under 4 feet tall, they are completely mis leading. Good luck getting you money back after 6 mins of the film, due to being mislead about your seats. P.s good job eliminating a pile of students jobs.

Great theater that has been recently renovated. Very modern and clean. Grab your own food is a great idea to keep snack lines fast. All screens are updated with large full reclining leather seats. Results in very very roomy seating with quieter theaters as they can't seat as many people as before. Very limited number of commercials before movie is much appreciated.

Nice recliners but disappointed with the increase in self service options, especially for the soda stations. With 100 types of soda to choose from, truly a nasty bottleneck for the masses. Not something one should expect for $6.50 per soda. The machine malfunctioned and I couldn't access the diet drinks that I require for my diet. I experienced the same thing with my last visit. Washrooms were not clean. If I was running a theatre, seems logical to clean the washrooms for the 7pm showings on a Saturday night. No free refills? Much to be desired kanata location.

The food service is disorganized with long lines. They put out popped popcorn in a cupboard area to grab. So it is not fresh. I prefer the Cineplex Ottawa for food with a very large round centre to buy food, therefore, shorter lines. The theatres here at Kanata are just ok.

This is what a theatre should be. Reclining seats are standard and you can pre-book seats online. Clean modern facilities, even sell wine and beer. Pre-show is not cluttered with ads mostly just previews and because your seat is booked there is no need to arrive too early. Prices are reasonable especially if you purchase a 10-pack. Lots of other deals offered as well. Many restaurants nearby for a night out.

My First time going to a movie in almost a decade! I was surprised when I arrived and was told I can pick my seat ahead of time. Awesome I thought. Until you're forces to move to a different cinema and the seats aren't all the same. Plus everything was delayed by 25 minutes. One more reason to never come back to a movie theater.

This theatre rocks. The renovations were spectacular. The new vending area is cool, and I'm sure leads to more impulse buying but the selection is incredible. Of course normal movie theatre prices, but that is to be expected. They also now serve beer and wine which is a nice addition. New concession setup is a disaster! Okay, so I'm okay with change. Really, I am. But the way they have set up the concession stand really, really does not work. The need to walk through a 7-11 type layout, gathering your popcorn, drinks, candies, only to stand in line, hands full, to pay for them is backwards and inconvenient. And because you pick up your popcorn before you get to the counter where the butter is, you don't have an option for 'butter half way down'. It feels like Landmark's change was more about simplifying operations, not about improving customer experience. And these days it's all about customer experience. The IMAX theatre was comfortable. Bathrooms were dirty.

things I liked about going to the Kanata location quick line to get tickets or to use gift cards seating is great , seats might be too big for smaller children but they love it picture quality and sound is very good , excellent things I did not like concessions having to search for trays, staff did not know what to do with the voucher when asked, I had a voucher , did not know what it was good for, was first told it was my movie ticket, then told it was for free popcorn, then told free drink and pop corn trying to get 3 small children thru the various lines and then to the check out area. had them pushed by other patrons and walked on. food spilled on them. if I wanted cafeteria type service I would not be spending 40 dollars for kids admission plus another 17 dollars for myself. realize it is suppose to be cost saving but certainly adds to a whole new level of difficulty to do a family outing . I figure it costs about 125 dollars for me to drive to Kanata, price of tickets , price of lunch and treats, I expect service for my money spent in the cinema not self service .

Great experience! Popcorn serving station was perfect with so many drink options and enough spaces for everyone. Theatre was clean but didnt have the new recliner seats yet which was kind of unfortunate considering theyre installed almost everywhere now. But overall good theatre good service and good facility

Typical movie theater, recent renovation to the entrance. For physical accessibility they have ground floor wheelchair seating area, this is very close to the front of each theater. In a few theaters they also have upstairs (elevator access) seating so you are in the back row. As well in the upstairs area there are very large accessible family (private) washrooms. For my family this is a premium feature. I believe if you all at the desk they also have a descriptive video setup for visually impaired.

Just not quite at the same level as Cineplex yet. The ease of finding a movie, theatre, or reserving ahead with Cineplex is something Landmark needs to apply. Most of the theatres I have been to, including this one, were very appealing as far as set up and decoration in common areas.

I like it more when it has big lift leg movie chairs and more snacks options. My friend and I enjoyed the place a lot, sometimes the parking lot is very busy especially on Tuesday the half price day. Another thing is I hope they catch up more with their service, like refill up more spoons or straws for ice creams and drinks timely. My ice cream was half melted when they finally found me a spoon.

Recent construction has made it somewhat frustrating but Movie selection always ensures everyone can find something to watch. The Upgraded seating variety and Film types makes it the best location in the Ottawa area to catch a movie. Sidebar - many many great restaurant options within walking distance.

Let me start off by saying that I've never had an experience so bad I felt compelled to write a review, but after the day I've had, I feel the need to do so. It started by me having to run after a bus, which resulted in me falling, blowing out my knee, and ruining my brand new boots. I didn't care, I wanted to see Venom that badly, so I waited for another bus. The bus trip is 1.5 hours from the South to Kanata. I finally get to the theater, pay for my ticket, buy a drink, and grab my seat. The ads start playing, and the it starts skipping. My crappy day is about to get worse. The movie starts, it skips, and skips some more. They stop the movie, give us a coupon for popcorn, attempt to fix it and none of this works. We're then given an option of being redirected to another theater or taking movie vouchers. At this point I'm fuming, I have work soon, and I have to leave immediately without the voucher. All in all, I paid $20 to see 3 minutes of Venom, ruined my boots, and all I have to show for it is a coupon for a medium popcorn. Don't get me wrong the reclining seats are great, which attracted me to this location in the first place, but I don't think I'll be using that coupon for popcorn because I doubt I'll ever come back here.

I used to love this theatre. Now after the renovations it’s just like all the cineplex garbage. Popcorn isn’t fresh anymore, no free refills and lacking customer service now. Corporate trying to make more money by reducing employee hours and recycling old popcorn. Very disappointed with the changes.

this place has just been renovated. . they now have a self serve snack and popcorn area (which is awesome!) there is lots of room to move around and it allows you to get what you want quickly. the ability to reserve your seat is also fantastic. the big lean back seats are terrific and make for a comfortable viewing of your selected movie. overall a great experience! it is a bit expensive but you can always buy your tickets at Costco and for a reasonable price you can get your movie and snacks. I live this location as it is always clean!

What's happened to this place? The concession space is royally screwed up. Not sure why they thought plunking a self-serve was a good idea. It's messy, both physically and in execution. The reclining chairs are an unnecessary gimmick, but the kids like it. Very difficult to get comfortable in if you don't want to recline. Miss the "old days" when going to a movie was a chill thing to do.

My favorite theater in Ottawa. Huge selection of movies and showtimes, good deals on Tuesday and Wednesday. Just wish they hadn't gotten rid of the atom food ordering options. The new "market place" style food court is odd, but once you are used to it, it's ok- didn't seem like it needed to be changed though.

Landmark has the *best* recliner seats in town... They are wider and recline more than those at Cineplex. The mom and baby shows (Tuesday afternoons) are excellent—they offer a good selection of current adult-oriented movies in a baby-friendly theatre (house lights on, lower volume, change station). Plus, the rows are roomy enough that you can park a small stroller in them, or a baby in a bucket seat.

Like the new reclining seats but people should keep their shoes on. ????????☠ When did it become acceptable to take your shoes off and bring a blanket to the movies? You are not at home! Between inconsiderate movie goers and the outrageous cost of snacks going to the movies has lost a lot of its appeal. The self serve concession stand with the popcorn in glass cases is horrible. These so called upgrades are not improving the experience.

The new set up for concessions is terrible. Pick a bag of popcorn that is sitting behind a glass door for who-knows-how-long, then get your drink or candy, THEN stand in the lineup with your arms full until you get to a cash to pay. One good thing is that they now have a butter system that works great and butters the popcorn throughout the bag. Sort of like a straw with holes all the way down and it is inserted into center of popcorn bag.

Fun spot. I love the way you pick up your popcorn then go pay for it. Rather than having some teen running around filling orders while the line builds, let the people get their orders together and then simply pay. The theater seating with lazy boys and the room for people to pass even when you are reclined is really nice. It is like going business class where all the other theaters in the area are economy. Reserved seating is great. Don't have to worry about where you are sitting or if you will be spilt apart or sending someone ahead to save seats while you line up for popcorn at other theaters. Little things but it is so much more relaxing. And the quality of the show, the audio and video, is excellent too.

Clean and expansive with a nice concession. Lots of movies to choose from and very comfortable seating. Unfortunately some of the aisle seats put your head level with the running lights on the stairs and the stairs themselves are hollow. This can be very distracting throughout the movie, especially if there is foot traffic on your aisle.

Honestly my favorite movie theater. They have the most comfortable seats of any theater I tried. Their seating is better than Lansdown, Carlin, and southkeys. All of the theatres have now been converted over to recliner chairs except Imax. These seats are awesome, and you don't feel crowded even with strangers beside you. The only downside is that there are less seats and more people attracted by the recliners, so more movies are selling out. Get there early or buy tickets online before going.

Online purchases are very easy gain admission. The snack bar is self service and efficient. The new recliner chairs are super comfortable and enhance the viewing experience. There are fewer seats as a result of the recliners but if you purchase in advance this shouldn't be an issue.

New Reno is horrible self serve layout does not work. Went 20 mins early ended up walking out and getting a refund for our tickets. Had to wait in three different lines. The new Reno's ruined the movie going experience. I will not be returning.

Do not ike the new format for drinks and popcorn. People can reach in and grab their own, spreading germs and clothing lint over other food. Popcorn was cold and you cannot add butter half way. Movie and theater were fine, and this time washrooms and lobby were cleaner than usual.

Cinema is nice. However, selling all sorts of crunchy snaks in noisy bags is a real turn off. What is the point in going to the cinema to "enjoy" a movie when all you can hear is your neighbors hog their way through the bags of food they brought in. Popcorn is already noisy, potato chips are WAY worse!

I wish all movie theaters were like this!!! Every chair is a leather recliner, some are even full lazy boy style. They have constant and well thought out promotions throughout the week, and always clean. The prices are cheaper too. If I had my choice, I'd take this over Cineplex.

Great theater - roomy, lots of screens, plus with the Atom app, you can pre-purchase your "tickets", reserve your seats and purchase your snacks. The location is easy to get to. The only thing to improve would be if the parking were closer. Oh - and there are lots of good choices for restaurants nearby if you want to eat, drink or both either before or after the movie

Best theater in Ottawa hands down. Prices are fair and unlike Cineplex at landsdowne you don't pay extra for the nice seats. The recliner seating is standard and easily the most comfortable seating I've experienced in a movie theater. I never go to the theaters as I hate the seats but this theater makes me want to go to the movies.

Terrible. The pick your own drinks and popcorn and snack style grocery store is awful. Have to carry 3 drinks in hand plus a popcorn. Through the cash line. No drink trays. 4 cashes open for 400 people at 7:00 Shows. 24 theatres, 4 cashes. Holy F. Go somewhere else. Wait 30 mins for food. Parking lot full. Imax is 18.00 ticket and DOESN'T have reclining seats and the sound and screen are no different than any other theatre. No leg room, no way to walk by to get to seats. And by the way... We got there early. If i could give a negative star i would. Where is AMC. BRING BACK AMC. At least bad boys for life was entertaining. Place is a joke. might be fine at non peak times like a Monday night or Wednesday afternoon. I dare any one to go at a busy night like Friday Saturday night and find a reason for any thing better than a 1 star review at the IMAX theatre.

Apparently about two weeks ago this theatre implemented assigned seating for all performances. This turned into a fiasco when my visiting parents, my girlfriend, and I tried to go to see a show this weekend. My parents of course went to buy their own tickets and being of the older generation preferred buying their tickets at the counter whereas my girlfriend and I proceeded to the automated kiosks. At this point it becomes impossible to actually buy 4 seats next to each other because we have no idea where anyone else is sitting. Since I was standing beside my girlfriend (at different kiosks) we could at least try to coordinate with each other, or so I thought until we hit the seating rules. Apparently you are not allowed to leave only one seat between you and the next occupied seat. OK, except when you are trying to buy individual seats next to each other in parallel (as one would have to leave an empty seat for the other). Basically the system forces you into a sequential purchase slowly filling out the seats without gaps (not a problem on slow days, but a potential nightmare on busy nights). Eventually we just gave up and I bought both our tickets as a pair. My parents tickets ended up being the other side of the theatre several rows away and the only way to fix this is to visit customer service. The whole system is broken on so many levels and makes joining up with friends at the theatre a logistical nightmare. Anyway, I think this is probably the last time I'll bother going to this theatre which is a shame as it is otherwise a decent theatre and by far the most convenient location for us.

Great location and seats. You get free parking for 3 hours with the prlurchase of a ticket. That being said my movie always 2 hours and 20 minutes. Add in prevues and getting in and out I ended up paying for additional time.

My family and I went and it was our first time with the reclining seats and it was great !!! Someone had our seats but it all worked out ????. Popcorn and pop was good and tasty !!! Bathrooms were nice and clean ????. The main floors could of been vacuumed but it could of been a busy day. We will be back to watch another movie. Theatre is nice. Staff was nice as well. However the concessions are bizzar. The frustration of walking through the self serve stations and then standing in line hands full -at busy times for a good 5-10mins - seems silly. Also $7.49 for a container of pringles... seriously that's about a 700% mark up from a grocery store. I usually go to landmark Orleans which has a much better set up. One line for tickets and concessions very smart and quick. Probably only go to landmark Kanata when I have no other choice for the movie I want to see.

I walked in and they had a large variety of movies showing at the same time. Maybe too many movies. I felt intimidated and weak. After soiling myself I exited the theater and proceeded to sit cross legged in the middle of a busy intersection and cry loudly. A police officer kindly brought me home and carried my limp and sobbing body up the porch of my house. I thanked him and tried to hug him but I ended up just wrapping my arms around him as he walked awkwardly to his car. I laid there on the sidewalk until I was hungry so I went inside and watched TV. I was thoroughly satisfied with all aspects of the Landmark cinema. Plan to go again soon. Thank you. 10/10

Presently being renovated. But comfortable recliner chairs and plenty of movie choices. Ticketing still seems to flow fairly fluidly even the entrance area is being renovated. Plenty of free parking. Easy to get to with multiple restaurants nearby.

The seats in the non IMAX theaters are awesome! Make sure when you book the icons show recliners. There's so much room! Unfortunately, the newly renovated vending area sucks and they no longer have the order ahead service. Now instead of standing in a long line waiting to order,, I stand in a long line while balancing food.

I wish there were more of these theaters in Ottawa because they are way better than Cineplex in my opinion. The popcorn is always consistently good and some of the theater rooms are massive compared to a Cineplex AVX room. Only downside is they don't have a points system like Scene.

Have you been to a movie, noticed that the people next to you or behind you talks too much, so you moved to a couple chairs down the row? You can not do it here. It seems that they have added per-seat control of electricity, only the sold seats recline. I guess there are people watch two movies with one ticket, but it really make my time of 'Ready or Not' hell, half of the time I was thinking about 'move or not'. Next time I'll drive 15 more minutes to go to another cinema, just to have the option to move away from some chatty folks and also have reclining seat.

This place went from the best popcorn I've ever had when it was Empire to the worst as Landmark. There was next to no butter flavour and just pure salt taste; and that was on more than a couple visits. Popcorn is a quintessential part of the cinema experience, it's an afterthought here. At least the new seats are great.

Very nice for a suburban chain movie theatre. The reclining seats and competitive Tuesday deals are great, and I also like that they do show some foreign films with subtitles. My only criticism is that sometimes these foreign films and other special screenings are just for one day, but that is still more than I expected.

New policy ruins what was previously a grest experience: they no longer stop strangers from booking the seat right next to you because their website is so poorly written. i am not going to book my seat in the middle then show up and have someone sitting right beside me, nor would i accept their customer service people moving me to one of the undesirable corner seats due to their inability to program a gap seat between the different customers. We were going to movies weekly there, but have now switched to cineplex as they can program a website to add a gap seat between customers automatically that can't be booked. why is that impossible for landmark? Imagine the mess at popular movies moving people around manually? How do you decide who gets to keep the seat they booked in advance and who has to move to the corner? going to be arguements! No thanks, this new rule has ruined landmark!

Have converted most theatres to the new recliner style. Prices are in line with other theatres for tickets, I find their snacks to be priced a little less than their competition . They’ve got free refills on popcorn and soft drinks (at a Coke Freestyle machine).

With the renovations going on for so long the concession store located where there is no appropriate ventilation the oil of the popcorn burnt intoxicates the enviroment and it is overwhelming. I know it is temporary but it is a very bad solution that has last for too long... the theaters are not very clean unfortunately people don't clean after them selves. But it is the only cinema around us.

Really great service at the service counter. Leg room in every theatre! You can be reclined and have people pass in front of you without issue. The BEST place to go see a movie! They don’t nickel and dime you and you can reserve seats for any movie at no extra cost. Use the Atom app! UPDATE: Landmark just completed their new renovations and I can’t say I’m all that impressed. There’s now a huge open area, just after you purchase your tickets, to purchase movie snacks, hot dogs, drinks, and popcorn but it’s frustrating. It’s designed like a cafeteria where you pick up your popcorn at one station (it likely isn’t fresh), then you go to another station if you want a hot dog and yet another one if you want candy (mini aisles of snacks to choose from). Finally, you carry everything and stand in a line to pay. Could be a long wait or it could be short - depends on how many staff they have manning the cashes. It now takes LONGER than it used to and it’s more inconvenient (who thought a customer should be standing around holding all their items in a lineup - these aren’t groceries and those stores at least have carts!). You also cannot order food using the Atom app anymore and pick it up at the counter. Disappointing turn.
