It's so-so. It could certainly use a reno as overall it's very tired and dated looking, inside and out. The concessions is just a nightmare. Staff have no idea what they're doing. Honestly, one of the worst run cineplex locations I've been to.

No staff for the box office and poor signage. You had to buy tickets from the concession stand which slowed eveything down. Popcorn was the dregs of a run. Half the bag was full of pieces the size of a grain of rice. After the wait for tickets, as we entered the theatre area we were rold there may not be seats as they'd sold many tickets. If there weren't any, we were to come out to exchange them. Really?

A community size theatre. Building feels older however offers all the newest movies, stadium seating that Cineplex is famous for, and alternative movie times to the larger theatres in East Gwillimbury (Newmarket), Markham VIP, and Richmond Hill.

One thing they need to do is add more ticket service people especially when it's at a busy time. I don't mind waiting but when you see one person behind the counter and 3-5 people doing nothing with a line up to the door it gets annoying and frustrating

Theater was very clean and except for this time the popcorn line was fast. They have the machines as one option for you to buy your own ticket. Normally goes really fast and if you need help there is always someone around to help you with your purchase. Tuesday is the day that they give you discounts but the theater was pretty empty. Not sure if they should think about some good promotion to incentive people to go more often. Would be a good option for the during this winter...maybe a promo that if you bring a friends you pay half price... Something like that would be nice. Good luck!????

Had a nice time at the Theatre. There were technical problems with the equipment running the movie and it was bothersome to say the least. They eventually got the problem fixed. First time I've ever gone through something like that. One thing that is worth mentioning was we were the only ones in the theatre. 2 people for the whole movie. Have fun!

Four of us went to the theatre Friday night to watch Beauty and the Beast. The earliest show was 6:30 PM. We knew it would be popular so we went to buy tickets in advance at 5 PM on our way to dinner. The place was completely locked up with a sign saying they were open Friday at noon. So we went for dinner and hurried back at 5:45 PM to get tickets and it was still locked up. There were several people trying to get in as well. Finally a stout man with a suit and blue tooth ear buds came to the door and rudely told all of us the doors don't open until 6 PM. Because it was cold and rainy, we elected to wait in our car. The worst part was a lady with two special needs children (one with mobility ussues) were also told to wait outside. Apparently one of them needed a washroom so he hesitantly opened the door for them. No sooner had they finished and he sent them back outside in the cold. The one with mobility issues had to try to lean on the building wall to stand while they waited 10 minutes for the doors.to open. Shame on you Cineplex! When we were finally admitted, we were herded like cattle, past the place where you purchase tickets to the long line waiting to purchase food! Apparently, this is where we now have to buy our tickets. So inefficient! We don't want any food, we simply want tickets to see the movie. And to wait until 30 minutes before the movie starts to unlock the doors? Really? We won't be going to this cinema again! Boooooo!

Ultra AVX theatre had only one entrance and exit! This theatre does not offer self serve softdrink dispensers. Popcorn isn't pre buttered like other theatres. Also no favouring available unless you purchase them separately

So far trying to order online has been so frustrating. To sign up they want access to every single bit of information in my account including all all my contacts. They don't have enough space in the info bar to even use your debit and it wont process in initial visa/debt format. If you don't care about privacy and only use credit I'm sure they love you. Raised it to 4 Stars since It worked fine later in the week. Maybe a hack of some sort had affected the website.

My Kids Review The B's

They 50 % capacity and today at 3:55 pm my kids and I went to see Spiderman at this location. NO FOOD AND FACE MASK MANDATORY FOR THE ENTIRE MOVIE. They are no selling food items unless you leaving with it. Today at this showing it was pack no social distancing with families. When I ask an employee who was inside probably making sure everyone has there facemask on and not eating and drinking. She said it's not mandatory to sit away from each other because we are wearing facemask. Really in the dark how could you see they have their facemask on. Not only that people brought in snacks. In the midst of the quietness you can hear the crunching of a pack. So how is this helping the currently situation if people are buying tickets and they are sitting close together. I was just disappointed that they are not allow customers to sit away from other families. SAD....

My night all started when I looked across the theater to see a pair of beautiful brownish blue eyes staring back at me. He waved me over and asked if I payed for my ticket yet. I got lost in his eyes. Fully erect I didn't know what to do. I panicked. I try to hide it but it was to hard.....Pun intended. I broke down to the ground crying filled with emotions of happiness and pure embarrassment. I was later escorted out my my friend and we never came back again.

Your basic Cineplex, lots of theaters, big screens, big sound. A small arcade, party room, and lot's of over priced items at the concession stand. This is not a complaint, just an observation, Cineplex has " Mc Donalded" their theater's, you go to one, you have been to them all. Having said that, this location has one theatre with a feature I have not seen before, D-Box seats. Very comfortable seats with both armrests, and the seats tilt, turn, and vibrate, to the movie. With having so many Scene points available due to COVID, we decided to try these seats out. Was it interesting? Yes. Was it a cool experience? Yes. Would I spend $22.00 cash on one to watch a movie? Absolutely not, it really did not add to the movie at all. The location itself was clean, including the bathroom. The staff was friendly and I will be going back to this location. My only complaint is, the prices at the concession stand are ridiculous, it has gotten to the point, we no longer buy any snacks. When, 1 popcorn, a drink, and small bag of candy (a combo) is just as expensive as the price of 2 movie tickets, I say, nope...

We had an issue with the auxilliary2 lighting not being turned off when the movie started. Was resolved after a complaint was filed online. Our tickets were reimbursed. Food and drink pricesxare a bit higher than I expected.

The food and beverages are awfully expensive!!!! The quality of the food is just not what one would expect considering the extremely high prices, put it this way my wife and I ordered burger and poutine in which the cheese curds never and I mean never melted!!! The gravy was lukewarm even though we were told that it was a brand new pot and the burger patties were undercooked!! The movie was great though!! Go see 'The Force Awakens' great movie!!!!

Local Cineplex with the usual selection of movies and features. Small arcade and limited selection of food items compared to some of the larger Cineplex locations. The theatres are good though... they are the standard large screen, big sound, stadium seating configuration.

Went to see a 4:40 show today. Service was good as there wasn't really anyone there. Theatre was very clean. Only issue was they had these flood lights on in the theatre. I thought they would turn off after the previews but they remained on for the start of the movie. I ran out to get a staff member and they were gracious enough to appologize and turn off the lights right away. This just meant I missed the intro to the movie.

Have been here probably a dozen times. If you have ever been to a cineplex, know this one is no different. The theaters are nice and the lobby is spacious. There is even a small arcade. It is essentially a mini SilverCity Cineplex. Would recommend and will come back.

We were there for two back to back movies and the cleaning employees seemed a little weirded out that we were 45 minutes early to a film, but they were friendly and didn't mind us waiting in the hall while they cleaned the theatre

Love this movie theatre! It doesn't always have the same selection as the larger movie places but trades that off with a much more pleasant atmosphere. It is much more conducive to a couples night out without the chaos of the larger crowds associated with the bigger movie centres. This is my wife's and my first choice everytime!

This theatre is consistently way too loud. It's like management decided that damaging patrons hearing makes them enjoy movies more. It doesn't. Make the trip to newmarket to enjoy movies at a reasonable volume.

Cineplex Odeon Vaughan is located closer to me but I always make the trip out here to visit the Cineplex Odeon Aurora. Mainly because it’s never overcrowded. Last time we came here to see Underwater we were actually surprised to see how clean the theatre was (#9). The floor was clean, the seats were clean, the popcorn tasted amazing. So overall, we had a great experience!

First time back in a theater since this mess began. I was impressed, booking your seats blocks of two seats on other side of you for social distancing. It felt something akin to normalcy. I was happy to see my boys experience a movie on the big screen, it was my youngest's first time in a theater and he loved it.

My family visited the cinema theater today, showtime was 3.30 pm. We came in advance, and had to watch the advertising for 20 minutes. I think is OK, but when the movie had to be begin at 3.30, the advertising was continued for 20 minutes more - up to 3.50 pm. It led to feeling of "melting of our brains". I have never faced with such unpleasant relation of the theater's management to their clients in other cinemas. As how I feel, clients pay for movies but not for much advertising. I would not recommend people to visit that cinema where there is not respect to clients.

Had my sons birthday here and it great. My only negatives were: the popcorn didn't taste fresh and the party rooms are only setup to watch movies instead of offering a music option while guests are eating. Staff was top notch and very accommodating.

Went to see The Shape of Water. This facility is clean and airy and fully automated so make sure you can process. We had passed that didn't work. Usual rip for popcorn, $8 for a small.????

This is a great place to work, my boyfriend's brother works there and he gets free movie tickets every week and apparently the pay is not bad. As for the cinema itself, the seats can use some improvement and they really shouldnt charge for those flavor packets considering the fact that the popcorn itself is already so overpriced.

I do like this location better than Newmarket cuz atleast the seats have some give to them. Altho some of the seats are dirty like Newmarket. Time for an upgrade. This is the location where Tanner records the pre show but there is no Timeplay at this location which seems wierd.

Went the other night to see a movie . Have not been there in a while. Lineup to get tickets was huge as they only had 4 terminals. They use to have at least 6 or 7 and a couple of people behind the counter to help. I along with 3 other families left -- obviously they want all tickets bought on line as the line up did not move.

Just watched Stan Lee's "Avengers Infinity War in 3D which showed beautifully on the screen with all effects. These cinemas do not need to entice us with fancier seats (not leather) or better food as the selection is good; however, improving on courtesy of all staff and basic aspects of customer flow always could benefit. Very close to residential, with a lot of commercial retailers around it. Decent size of theatre. Only complaint is prices of food, and how they are absolutely through the roof. One small bag of popcorn is $7.00 on top of scene discount. One of my favourite theatres.

Five of us watched Spiderman No Way Home with the DBox seats here. Movie was pretty good, they threw everything plus the kitchen sink into this latest installment of the franchise. DBox was good. My second time, but first time for the kids, so they enjoyed it. Tickets a little pricey, but good for a special treat once in a while. I am not sure how they achieve physical distancing in the theatre. The seat right next to my son was occupied, which is kind of disappointing. I thought given the seat pre-selection, they could have blocked off a seat in between groups. The DBox seats are separated by a small gap, may be 8 inches or so, but definitely not sufficient for physical distancing. At least everyone was wearing their masks inside the theatre, as far as I could tell.

Employees need more training. The employee that took our snack order made an error and was totally confused. Our popcorn was burnt. They serve their coffee from thermoses which is fine but they ran out so the server added water to my cup instead of making more. I had to say I didn't want a watered down coffee and ask if he could please make a fresh pot.

Volume is LOUD, though it seems other theatres aren't much better (Empress walk North York is almost as bad), I guess everyone voted to crank the volume on all theatres in the last year or so? Don't go to this theater. They have HUGE problems broadcasting the difference between 3D and standard (non 3D) movies. Their own website shows the actual times and types of films, the generic google version doesn't give any accuracy at all. Go ahead and look it up, compare the movies between the two and you'll see what I mean. You could argue that they are only responsible for their own website, but, they are a business and a corporation and I think it's not much to ask to have ONE consistent listing. I expect better. You should expect better too. Somewhere this is one persons single job, and he/she/they can't even do that.

One of the worst cinema I ever been to. Staff is as slow as other Cineplex so can't complain on that but the worst thing is their IMAX theater room. No air condition, no vent circulation, no time play and the whole room is stink! Not recommended I rather go to the one at Richmond hill or up at new market.
