Family owned and ran for over 30 years. Great prices, good food, and great staff. Employees are friendly. They take debit and have a full arcade, and go kart tracks both reasonable prices. Worthwhile experience I promise!

Beware of potholes. Classic theatre, glad we still have a functioning drive in, but really need to start spending money on repairs and updates. Me and my friends bottom out our cars everytime we come here.

It was pretty decent. However their Go-karts broke down several times on the track and several of us (and others) didn't even get to finish the race, they weren't reimbursed. Neither were we. We sputtered to the finish line. Arcade was good, way too many people in it. But it was still fun! Overall it was decent. At least we got the nostalgia of a drive in movie!

Throwback to the good old days of drive- in theaters. This is always a great time with the family, showing double- and sometimes triple-features. There's a full snack bat, plus an arcade and go carts. Get here early for the breast spots. Back in with your truck and cuddle up under some blankets, or watch from the comfort of the front seats. Reasonably priced entertainment.

I took my nine year old son on a road trip from Seattle just to experience this drive in. After our stint on the go-karts, he was ecstatic. They have a good snack shop, with really good fresh made pizzas. It was a great time. The staff there are nice, too.

What a wonderful experience. Really well run family owned business. It was absolutely crazy busy and they pull it all off seamlessly! Such a treasure in a beautiful setting. Snack bar is great with excellent prices. You can truly take your family to the movies for a great deal! Radios available to rent for $2 and your license as collateral. Arcade and gocarts are great too! Bundle up and take the family to make memories!

Love this place. Cost me $15 to get the whole family in and then they've got great prices on awesome theatre food too! You can get an XL pizza for $15. Pretzel is $3 not $8 like other theatres.

This is the best drive-in theater that I have ever been to. Ever. They have a fantastic arcade with a really good selection of well maintained games. Go-kart racing, a snack bar that actually serves good food at a reasonable price, and of course a giant movie screen. We have a good time every time we come here.

Awesome!! Annual Girl Scout troop adventure. Most years, it rains, but they don't care. It's so much fun for them to pitch a big tent with the front flap open and watch a movie from the comfort of their sleeping bags. Tips: adult chaperones sleep in their own tent (no brainer - bring earplugs) AND bring a canopy-type thing and a tarp for the floor of the canopy. DRIVE-IN'S ROCK!!

This locally owned and opperated drive-in is the Best ever, fun family atmosphere, great food, (personally i love their pizza.) Friendly staff. Lots to do in the large arcade, and to top it off they have a go- cart track. Everything is clean. We go often with the whole family. Myself, my Kids, the grandkids, my sis and her grandkids. We always have a great time. I highly recommend you check it out for yourself. I know after you do you'll go again and again.

I know this can be a 5-stars place, but I have to give it 3 stars due to incorrect information on their website and on the message they play when you call the phone number. Today was the second time we have made the trip (1.5 hour round trip with traffic) to visit this location after checking the site and calling the phone number to confirm they would be open. They need to really make sure that they communicate to customers if they are open or not, as 3 other families drove up in the short time we were there. I'm sure they left with disappointed kids just like we had to.

Fun place to watch a movie. Really nice and easy lay out. No delay in audio and the screen was very clear. Lots of room and other things to do before the movie. Arcade and Go karts for reasonable price. Plenty of food options and it was nice to be able to rent a radio to tune into the movie. Highly recommend this place!

Drive 1.5 hours to come here as much as we can. Enough said. But I will say more anyways... Family fun that makes for a night you will all remember as opposed to JUST another night at the movies you will soon forget. Great staff, great atmosphere, lots of fun snacks (a few less fattening ones would be nice but its not a party if you don't have regrets the next day). Just can't say enough good things about this place.

I was so excited to find the Blue Fox Drive - In. We drove an hour and a half just so I could give my kids the drive in experience and we all loved it so much! The pizza and popcorn was great. Go-carting before the movie was a blast! The movie experience was really fun as we snuggled in the back of our car together. Well worth the drive and plan to do it again!!!

We love going here and with currently not being able to go to the movie theater its the only option for movies. I really like that they keep their Facebook updated with the movies and take input from their customers. I have normally shown up about an hour and a half before the movies started and had no issues. But I'm guessing due to COVID that is not advisable anymore. We waited in line for about 45mins to get in, a bunch of cars behind us were turned away and we waited in line for over an hour and a half... the entire first movie and introduction if the 2nd movie. Luckily the kids enjoyed themselves and the food quality did not suffer from them being so busy and they didn't run out of food or popcorn. I highly recommend showing up promptly when they open to get prime parking and no crowded food lines and maybe bring some games or something to keep the kids occupied until the movie starts. That's what we'll be doing next time we go. Also, they have bathrooms with stalls and soap and paper towels and air dryers.

I've been here a couple times, coming from Lewis county it's about 2.5 hr drive, this is such a great place for a family night or a date night..the prices are great and the food is juat as good. Over night stays are welcome as the last movie usually gets out around 3-4am..fun fun fun

Went for the jungle cruise movie, but spent time by go Karting, eating food and trying to win tickets in the arcade. I love how they have Go-Karts and an arcade at a drive-in. The Go-Karts stop once the movie starts which is understandable, it was a lot of fun and can't wait to go again.

Can't say enough about how much we love the drive in in oak harbor. We go almost every other weekend in the summer. Love the go carts the arcade and decent food. Friendly staff and owner operator. Cheap prices to get in and always a good time. It's worth the drive and they will let you stay out there too if too tired to drive.

A family friendly retro-themed drive-in theater with a deceptively large amount of parking, each row for different vehicle types to maximize viewing experience. The picture appears dim when first viewing, but gradually becomes brighter and clearer as the projector heats and night continues to fall. Would recommend.

It's a great place to go with your family!!! You really need to get there early because it gets packed fast and you might end up waiting in the snack line for a couple of hours ???? it does depend on the movies sometimes but not lately. We went to see the croods 2 the line up just to get in was long, that was the longest I've waited in line for food but we still had a great time. They are making improvements too now they have a little outside bar behind the arcade. We always rent a little radio for the kids because they like to sit in front of the car to watch even in the cold but that's teenagers for you ????

Smaller than I thought it would be but charming. They hold events for the holidays and have a bonfire on cold nights. The food is very good! The fries I got were huge but a little old. Just don’t be on a diet there. The movies are great. Good selection and bargain. Everyone is so cheerful. An Oak Harbor treasure.

A great place to get away from the norm. This place is a bit of a zoo with lots of little kids running around before the movie starts. I think the arcade takes away from the place a bit as well as the go-karts but i get the idea behind having them there. Popcorn is VERY salty and almost un-eatable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are clean and the sound and visual quality of the movies is great. A must visit for anyone in town..at least once.

Amazingggggg. It was so fun. The movies were great. Renting a radio was only $2 if you are worried about your car battery. Bring cash! (Its cheaper for the ticket). Theres tons of fried food. I didn't try the go karts or arcade but they looked fun (maybe better for smaller kids/families?)

Movies were good had a good time. But the food was horrible, my popcorn was so salty we were not able to eat is. So we were waiting on a pizza, my pizza standard is pretty low, I eat little ceasers often. So with that said, I don't think I've ever had a horrible pepperoni pizza. But their pizza is disgusting, my wife and kids did not like it and we were all feeling sick not long after eating some. Next time would definitely bring my own food. Maybe it was just last night, I see all the other reviews are good, I definitely seen people complain about their food as well. But with all that said, I wouldn't eat from them again

This is an amazing place! From the movies to the arcade to the go karts and now an outdoor tavern! Love, love, love this place! Prices are more than fair. 2 and sometimes 3 movies for 7 dollars. It might even be less than that. I think it depends on age. Kids are cheaper. Good food with more typical theater pricing but not typical theater food. Family owned and operated. Nice family, too. Easy location to get in and out of. Always clean- except the bathrooms. The foot traffic takes a toll but they do a lot to stay on top of it. The floors are pretty muddy this time of year though. Lines can be long for food and go karts. If you have not been, go!

Whenever I am in town, the Blue Fox Drive-In is a must. Staff is friendly and arcade seemed clean. Our only complaints would be that over half the bathroom stalls in the women's bathroom were out of toilet paper, and that the candy served with the kid's popcorn combo was expired by almost a year. I look forward to my yearly trip to Oak Harbor and to the Blue Fox Drive-In!

If you hate movie theaters but want to see movies as they come out, chances are you’ll like the Drive-In. It’s generally cheaper, you can stay in the privacy and comfort of your own car, and you can bring your own snacks (though they have a great selection of concessions: popcorn, hotdogs, candy, hot pretzels, slushies, ice cream, etc.) They also have a nice arcade and go-karts (my absolute favorite thing about the place) so you have something to do if you get there early. I definitely recommend Blue Fox to anyone.

Came here with some friends, had a blast in the arcade. Bought 3 cards for 50$ a piece and we had enough points to play for 4 hours before the movies started and left with a substantial amount unused. (At least 500+ points left on my card). The go cart racing available hear is amazing, it costs next to nothing on your arcade card. The track is a great size to have fun without so much worry over crashing or bumping into one another. The radios given for the movies are surprisingly excellent quality and the parking arrangement is perfect for great viewing no matter where you are. For a place as cost friendly as this, I would definitely recommend anyone in the area or otherwise to visit. I know I'll be going back soon.

I honestly adore this place the staff is great and willing to help with any issues you may have with the arcade or just general questions. I’ve been to many drive ins (the few that are still around) and even the limited movie selection at this one isn’t a downside for this drive in. If it rains it can be an issue with puddles collecting all over the place but it’s a beautiful place and really worth the visit, this is now my 5th or 6th time up here and it’s a 2.5 hr drive one way for me so if that doesn’t convince you I don’t know what will. It’s a great place and definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been here.

The kids and I love Blue Fox! We live almost 2 hours away from it but it's worth the drive. The cost is very affordable, especially to see 2 new movie releases. They play golden oldies over the speakers and it adds to the nostalgia of the place. My kids love to go in the arcade before the movies start and the go carts are fun. They have good food and there's always a weekly special that can't be beat. Make sure you arrive well before the movies start to get your primo spot (we usually get there about 6:30 and the movies start around 9)...But the wait flies by. Blue Fox Drive In is a summer must!...Even if we do get home at 2 am.

I have been patronizing the Blue Fox drive-in for over a decade, seven of which have been with my child. It's very expensive but we have a great time when we go. Crowded during the summer but they're open year round so we prefer to go in the winter, (movies start and end earlier).

WOW!! What a gem, we by chance saw the place and went that night. Extremely inexpensive..15 bucks for two adults and 8 year old for Grinch and nutcracker, and good food not just popcorn and candy we got two cheeseburgers and a Philly steak..and of course popcorn and candy..the entire night was under 50 bucks..There is a big arcade with newer modern games to kill time before movie we enjoyed it all.. thanks Blue Fox!! Can't wait to come back.

Very surprised at how nice the place is. I was stationed at NAS Whidbey Is. For 5 years and never bothered to go cause from afar it looked old and run down. Couldn't be more wrong... Nice clean bathrooms, modern concessions, video games. Decent prices and newly released movies. I highly recommend!

The screen is in pretty good shape and the audio transmission seems perfect but the driveway and parking area feel like they need some work. Overall a pleasant movie experience and the tickets are dirt cheap.

For three decades my family has been coming here! This is the best family and date spot on the island. Blue Fox Drive-In is one of the last two remaining drive-ins in Washington (or maybe the country). Shows are always a double feature, and the price is the same as admission for a single show at a cinema! There are speedy go-carts, and a modern arcade with prizes! The concessions are my favorite part. There are so many options for food, beverages, and snacks! The prices are unbeatable, $3.00 for a fresh cheeseburger! This place is a must go for everyone, and very affordable. I hope that they stay around for future generations.

I have been coming to this Drive-In ever since I was in elementary school. This place has grown and blossomed quite a bit. For 1. The bathrooms have been remodeled and are a lot more clean. As well as private with locks on all of the stall doors and a nice sink with soap to wash your hands in. I have personally tried their pizza, meatball sub, chicken strips, big hot dog/with chili and cheese, corn dogs and a variety of specials that are all more than filling, as well as appetizing. They have plenty of candy and frozen treats, as well as the rare and always popular, Chocolate covered banana. They have speakers with amazing sound that can be rented for only $2. And the show also sends you intoba fit of child like nostalgia with the classic Looney Tunes episodes they show before movies... Now don't forget, they also have go karts at $6 per 5 min ride or $15 for 3 five min rides... Overall, great staff, friendly atmosphere, awesome food, lots of fun games, and go karts.... Went to the Garth Brooks concert at the Blue FoxDrive-In Theatre in Oak Harbor, WA on 6-27-20. Their snack bar was great and the concert was also great. All 3 of us in the car enjoyed it very much. Easy to get out at the end too.

$15 total to see 2 new movies for my family of 4 is a steal!!!! We just saw How to Train a Dragon 2 and Maleficent. We cuddled and didn't worry about talking during the movie. We had a blast doing the go-cats as we waited for the sun to set. Worth the drive!

Lots of fun, good atmosphere. Fun games and go karts to occupy your time before the movie starts, so get there early. Food selection was pretty good for a drive-in theater as well, and reasonably priced.

This place has been around since before I was born and is still one of the coolest attractions on the island. The snack bar food is all really greasy though I dont see how they would be able to fix that considering it's like a fast food grill run by a lot of teenagers (very respectful hardworking individuals these teens). Usually you need to get in early which just means you'll have time to hit the Arcade! There is really only a couple of games that arent just money pits for tickets, but it's still super fun (you shouldnt go to the arcade for the prizes, you should go for the fun). They have GoKarts too, but I havent been on them since I was a kid so I wònt review them though I can see that the track is fairly small and the cost is a little high. Still, this is the place to be after dark on the island

LOVE IT! Family of 5 can cost under $50 for 2 movies. Good quality movies. New movies keep it either more adult or more family friendly each night. Check thier website for the set each day. The arcade is alot of fun. Well set up and no need to carry around tickets for prizes, with thier card system. The food lobby is awesome with a variety of dinners, snacks, drinks, and desserts.

Fun place to go with Kids. Great price for TWO movies! Opens at 4, but movie doesn't start till sundown. Expect to stay pretty late. There is an Arcade and go-karts to help pass the time. Now, for my complaint :) Check rules before paying for gocart to make sure you agree. I was told I couldn't ride with my 9 yr old driver.... Me. The mom! 1st time to ever drive! I spoke to the manager afterward and he said I was given wrong information. Glad she had no accident. Funny the kid who wouldn't let me on with her got mad when my daughter didn't slow down enough when she was finished. So..... Just make sure everyone is on the same page! Also, check to see what movie is being played first. Dumbo and Shazam were playing. I figured the PG show(Dumbo) would be first, then the PG-13..... I'm a silly mom..... I guess I expected too much ???? We went for Dumbo, but left before it started because it was already past 10.... Shazam was cute, but not a show my daughter and I were interested in watching.

We went to the 4th of July fireworks show for 2021 and it was fantastic!! Best seats were on the right side of the screen towards the back! Great music, great atmosphere, lots of things available to do arcade, go carts, snack bar, beer garden. They also sell hand printed shirts and sweatshirt for all your printing needs. Seriously fun!! If you go in winter bring cozy blankets. Make sure if you have a hatch back open to bring twine or bungies so you arent blocking others views. Get there early as the food lines get long quick. Facilities were clean. They played old fashioned cartoons before hand and the national anthem. It was like stepping back in time. Screen was excellent and the sound through the radio was crystal clear. Entry prices are outstanding. We drove an hour to get there and we will be frequent visitors from now on. Worth every mile. I always love going to blue fox drive in, some of my favorite childhood memories are here, its always fun to ride the go karts, and play in the arcade while you wait for the sun to set and the movie to start, the food in at the concession stands are fantastic. There are two stands now one at the front of the theater and one in the back. There's also now a beer garden which my mom said was pretty cool when she checked it out. I highly recommend this place

This is Whidbey Island best kept secret. How often do you see a drive-in anymore? It is the best low-cost family activity you can do. They don't charge per car just per person. Adult admission is super cheap and it can sometimes get you two to three movies. Their fries are amazing. Freshly cut from potatoes and fried. You have to eat them if you're going to go to the blue fox. Their arcade room has a ton of games. And go karts there pretty fun too. Make sure you check their website to see what's playing each week.

But don't go in the summer when its really sunny unless you aren't gonna watch the second film cause the first one will start really late and won't end till midnight and then the second probably won't end till 2 am even if the schedule says it starts earlier. Also the carts aren't very kid freindly as they crash easily and are hard to control. Other than the sechedule and kids getting rekt in the cars i'll give it a "10/10" -IGN

What a fun way to go see a movie! We were visiting town and thought this would be a fun thing to do. We got there a little after 4pm when the box office open and got a really good parking spot to watch the movies. The movie came on around 9:15pm so by the time the first one was over we left because it was around 12am. Since we were there early we did go carts to pass the time away and they were fun. I would recommend coming here to watch a movie! Great prices too!

Great family place. One of the few really great drive-in's left in this country. Feels like the 50's & 60's again. All the best current movies, giant screen. It's worth your drive to get here! We live local, so we like to arrive early to get our favorite spot, then play on the lawn with the dogs & kids a while before ordering our food & popcorn for the evening. The FM radio sound is great--depending on the quality of your own car stereo, of course! We've been coming regularly for 22 years, since moving to the area, & plan on (hopefully) another 30.

This is the only way my husband and i view movies anymore! We have a 1 year old, and like taking her with us, so for the past 6 months this has been the only way. And its great! Only complaint is its pretty far from my house (rodeo drive in is closer) and they only have 1 screen so it can get pretty packed. But so happy they show the brand new movies so parents have an option besides babysitters!

This is a great, old school meets new school drive in theater. They typically have double features, of current movies. The ticket prices are very reasonable, although they do have a $1 markup for paying with a card, so cash is preferred. They have a punch card, and after 10 tickets, you get one free. Their projection system is great, assuming that rain or mist doesn't interfere. You listen to the movies' audio over your car's radio. They have a pretty nice little arcade. The food in the concession stand/cafe is very good, although it's only fast food grade, as one would expect.

OK, a drive in is unique and this one has giant food (heaping burgers, curly fries, and monstrous drinks... they looked like at least 64 Oz). There's also an arcade and go-karts where you get multiple laps for $6 for an adult and child. The night we went it was 3 movies for $15 per car. The cons are the crowds and wait times. Be selective of your nights and it could be fun. Not healthy but fun.

The movie is pretty cheap if you want to be within the center of the screen you have to come early. If you have kids expect to waste a lot of money the go karts are fun to go with family. The arcade games are okay for kids to have fun . The system they have for buying food is ridiculous expect to wait about 15 min or more if your just going for a soda the lines get really big as the movie time starts they have a line you have to follow and you must wait and pay at the end of it

Great prices, always fun - bring cash (quicker and cheaper for admission). Indoor arcade, go carts in spring and summer, movies almost year-round. Been going here since 1990 and, even through all of the changes, the only "bad time" to be had at the Blue Fox is when other patrons misbehave. So, tie down your hatches (they have tie downs in the concession stand), learn how to turn off your DRLs, and let's all go to the movies!

NO WHERE ELSE will you get to see not only one but two movies for a family (2 adults and 2 kids) for the price of 1 adult ticket for one movie at a regular theater. Yes these standard theaters offer some cool features like cushy seating or 3D but for a family it is cost prohibitive, and that is just getting in. Not to mention the food. At the Blue Fox you get in at a super good price, the food is pretty decent and affordable. Plus they have go carts and an arcade. But the thing the kids LOVE is the adventure of it all, and quite frankly my wife and I do as well. Going to the Blue Fox never disappoints and the family adventure and memories are priceless! It is worth the drive out!!! Oh and before I forget, it is a drive-in and you are able to park facing the screen or back to the screen with your hatch open, the kids favorite way, we also use camp chairs. Be prepared for the weather. We just went 03-30-19 and it was warm when we got there, 17:29 but it did get really chilly later after sundown. So blankets, coats, cold weather stuff. Also save yourself the hassle and either dress your kids in pjs or, like we, bring them with and change them before the movie starts.

And if you connect on facebook you'll see the special and have a weekly chance to win free tickets. And there is also an arcade so if you do come 3 hours early you can do that or the go-karts. Blue Fox is great! We've been here twice in the last year for drive in concerts and had a good experience both times. Kids loved the go carts, (so did we. . .) food options are fairly priced and quite delicious. Arcade games are a little redundant, in that many are the "bulldozer" style coin push games, but it was a good way to kill time waiting for the shows to start.

This place is great. It has the old feel and experience of a drive-in movie theater while providing present day quality. You can rent a radio for $2 so that you don't need to rely on your car battery. It is always at least a double feature, sometimes a triple feature but always the same cheap ticket price. Concessions is much cheaper than a regular theater, too.

While I love the idea of a drive in, I also dislike having to deal with some of its short comings; Late hours due to sunset times, jerks who drive giant trucks and park in front of little cars. Really my biggest issue is that the projector doesn't get bright enough and leaves the dark scenes almost un-watchable. Otherwise the experience is up to you. Which can be nice.

I really enjoyed the experience. The popcorn was good but no free refills even if you buy the largest bucket. No free refills on soda either. My husband did not like the burger here but decided to get the hot dog and he really enjoyed it. What I didn't really like was when we tried to go into the tavern area with my 5 month old in a stroller, we were told he's not allowed. That was a bummer but saved us a bunch of money we would have spent on food and beer. Drive ins are fun even when there were people who didn't understand how to turn their lights off when the engine is on; employees there helped them out.

The only big negative for us was that people don't follow the rule to lower their SUV hatch to level with the top of their SUV. This made it to where we could only see about 70% of the movie screen. We arrived 1.5 hours before the movies started and the place was already packed. Overall, a great value and the people running it are top notch.

I just can not get enough. This place is a real treasure. It is one of three Drive-ins in the US. Friday nights can be very busy. The food is good, but expensive. The ticket price is very inexpensive (currently $6.50/person). I prefer Blue Fox to the theatre in town.

In case you need it the station is 88.7. Been here twice now and man is it great now that they have gotten rid of most drive in theaters it's hard to find one, Especially one so nice. Concession stand food is very reasonable prices and best filling we have gotten the pizza and the curly fries which are just great. The workers here are also very friendly. Nice and cheap date or great for the whole family! Just be ready for a late night usually don't get out till 2 ish if you stay for two movies. Will deffinatly come back here.

Such a fun way to make memories. We went on a night that had a double feature and their Christmas festival. Our little ones loved the experience and it brought back great memories (you just don't see drive-in movies any more). The festival was really cute as well. They had farm animals, Santa, free gifts for the kids. Also, the snack bar is a much better deal than you could ever get a traditional movie theater. We really enjoyed our time!

Veteran tip: if you buy points for your arcade card instead of buying the $7 go-kart tickets you'll save about a dollar or so per go-kart ride, as you can use the points to get on the go-karts as well as the arcade

The cars were not spaced out, was extremely over crowded, not everyone was wearing masks in enclosed areas & in the crowded lines (excluding staff - all of them were), very little social distancing in the lines for the snack shack & go carts for the pandemic!

As one of a dwindling number of theaters, the Blue Fox Drive-in is a wonderful experience offering great movies, sometimes as many as 3 in a row if you have the time, great food, an updated arcade room, and a fun and exciting Go-kart track! My favorite theater. Love the old time themes at the beginning of the movies. Love the variety of food. Enjoy playing in the well kept arcade area and being able to keep an account of our ticket score in a system is awesome. Movie combinations this year are great. I get to take my children with out having to cover thier view to filter what they should see. The screen is nice quality. I love they have a battery charging system for those who don't know how to keep the car battery charged. And you can rent a radio if you need one for sitting out side your vehicals. I can't wait to try this place out when it gets warmer and take my truck instead of our crossover. So much to say and I haven't even tried out the go-carts yet. Four adults and one 8 yr old boy stopped to ride the go carts at 4pm, June 8th. I asked if we could move our car closer so two elderly people, having difficulty walking so far on uneven ground could watch the boy in the go cart...a young man said only if you're staying for the movie. I explained about the elderly people in the car, and we would only be there for a half hour at the most. He said only if you're staying for the movie. We need the space when people are coming to the movie. It was 4 o'clock,.how many people line up for an outdoor movie at 4? It was ridiculous and sad that young man had no compassion for the elderly. ☹

Great bundle movies and food prices! They have an arcade place and go-karts to occupy your time while waiting for the movie/s to start. They also have a restroom (not just the portable one so that's really good!) Now if they could just serve/include bucket of chickens or chicken nuggets, even buffalo wings or flavoured popcorn or flavoured fries on their menu, that would be awesome!

If you miss the old Drive-In's or have never been. Got to go to this one. So much fun and fond memories. The admission prices are crazy cheap. The food there is also inexpensive and awesome. The pizza is good and the whole potatoes fries are amazing. Your kids will love it. Get there early get a great parking spot and enjoy the go carts and arcade while you wait till it gets dark. Some of my best childhood memories are of my family going to the old Bellingham Samish Twin drive-in back in they day. I have made similar memories with my kids going to the Blue Fox for several years now and hopefully several more to come

Our family always has a blast here even if the movie is a dud! We love the arcade; it's a lot of fun. The Fox Fries are monstrous; get them with the chili and cheese! First timer here!! The entry fee is 5$ per person. I would recommend coming in a good hour early to get a good parking view. I was in the 3rd row. & the food is NOT expensive as you would expect to be similar to other movie theaters. I bought the bucket of pop corn for 7$ and it lasted me through BOTH movies. The people who work there are very nice. & Oh the line tends to get a bit long 20mn prior the movie starting for food. you have the option to leave after the first movie they have a 10 mm in between but majority of people tend to stay for both movies. Ideal for a date night. Or family night. They do sell big sweaters in case you are cold. Was very good!!! Definitely will be going back.

Good news... the old traditional American drive in movie isn't dead. Everything about this place amounts to a good family day into night or a fun date night no matter what your age. The bathrooms are clean, food is tasty and reasonably priced, arcade was loaded with fun things to do and you definitely need to get in the go-karts. Everyone seems to be in a good mood and eager to make friends with other patrons. Make sure to bring extra blankets and warm sweatshirts. You can also rent a speaker, and save your car battery, for $2.

Way cheaper than cinemas and every night is a double feature. The food choices are way better and the atmosphere is electric, almost like a fair. We have been going here for years and then this became our almost exclusive movie theater once we had kids. Having a private viewing cabin makes the experience much easier with kids and infants. Sometimes when the playbill accommodates we watch the first feature as a family and the second feature after the kids are asleep.

The establishment is great. No complaints. However the people that come here are little to be desired. The security needs to be looked over a little more thouroughly. There was people smoking pot right next to us. I'm not trying to be a party poopers, but this is a family establishment. AND YOU HAD CHILDREN WITH YOU!! I love this place and we come here a few times a month, but this can't fly. Legal or not.

This theater is a bit out of the way for most, but there aren't many drive-ins left. We made the hour drive up, to arrive at 7:30 on a Saturday. It's a popular place, and looked like we wouldn't be able to find a spot, but once inside there were plenty of options. They don't have their spots arranged on hills (so you're pointed upwards at the screen), but we found a spot that had a little hill. The screen is smaller than other drive-ins I've been to. The sound quality was good. They play a LOT of stuff before the movie (trailers, reminders about rules, concession ads, even a cartoon!). I didn't eat the food, but it was very popular. They do a brick of curly fries that is easily 2x the size of my head. Overall, worth the money and the drive.

Omgosh. Just so wonderful and refreshing. Very friendly people, great sound, crystal clear picture. It is dog friendly which was great cause I brought my 4 yes 4 small dogs. I saw others as well on leashes. I didn't get much food but the concession stand was fast and efficient albeit strange. And the men's bathroom is oddly located. All in all had a very good time.

Wow the 4th of july at the blue fox drive in was amazing!! Thankyou for the show!!! Must have been lots of hard work. The new hoodies are great!! Saw people staying safe and the working keeping things VERY CLEAN! Thanks for a great time and a safe play to enjoy our self's. We brought our baseball and our football other people did as well! Everyone had masks on and was 6 feet apart or more. Great time with my best friend :) in my home town!

I heard about this place from a friend, and was excited to try it myself. It's been a really long time since I've been to a drive in, and with Covid going on, we've missed going to the movies. So tonight I grabbed my 3 kids and headed over. First of all, the cost to get in is really affordable. If you pay in cash, it's $5 per person, and little kids are free. I can't remember the cutoff, and there may also be an intermediate cost for "children". But even at $5 per person it's a good deal. If you pay with a card, it's 50 cents more per person. They ask that you don't bring in outside food, but their snack bar is also very affordable for theater prices. We got a 16" pepperoni pizza for about $16, and A HUGE pile of chili cheese fries for something like $8. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The movies are played over a local radio station, and if you don't have a way to listen, you can rent a radio for $3. We were able to use a cell phone and a Bluetooth speaker. There is an arcade on the premises that we didn't get to try. The boys went over between movies, but it was already closed down. It looked like there were a number of machines though. There is also a go kart track that was closed for the season. All in all, we had a really fun time and will absolutely go back. It isn't anything fancy, and it's off the beaten path, but definitely worth the trek for us.

The drive out was beautiful. For less than the cost of a regular movie we got 2 movies and got the comfort of our own car as well. The snack bar is not disappointing. Definitely add this to your bucket list whether it's with friends, family, or whatever. You'll love the experience.

Love this place. Family Owned and operated. Affordable ticket price, affordable weekly food specials. Only downside is the lines especially on the weekends in the Summer. I reccomend to get there early, an hour or more on the weekends, and get your food early, or wait until intermission inbetween movies.

My family has been coming to blue fox for a few years now and usually have a good time. The price for a double feature is great. It is very difficult to see the double features though since in the summer movies don't start until around 930pm. It is much easier to catch both movies in the fall/winter months. It can be irritating at times when other cars are disruptive with headlights and such.

Labeled as a "family-friendly" venue... Unfortunately, what was an otherwise beautiful evening was tainted by all of the smokers ruining the fresh, open air experience. Pervasive second-hand smoke is not my idea of "family-friendly." This isn't the 1950s, after all. When asked, mgmt simply shrugs off the issue saying, "smoking is allowed." At a minimum, you'd think an area would be designated for smokers... like, perhaps, across the Canadian border.

I love blue fox so much. Its one of the only drive-in theaters still around and the movies are great, the radio station is perfect so there's no delay, and if you need one, you can rent a radio from them for super cheap. Their food and popcorn is also great, they have a nice selection of drinks and also an outdoor bar! They also have other entertainment like a whole arcade, go-karts, and more! Would absolutley recommend Blue Fox Drive-In Theatre. The absolute best in the NorthWest.

My senior class had an all night party at the drive in and it was a absolutely amazing. The arcade was fun, movie was entertaining, and the go-karts were the highlight. The thing that makes this post 2 stars were the go-kart employees (specifically 3 young men). They were publicly making homophobic jokes and offensive slurs about mental disabilities. These remarks were shared with customers and changed the whole tone of the evening.

Love love love this place. The kids behind the snackbar work so hard and get the food out quickly.food prices aren't as high as movie theaters and the movie tickets are so cheap. Come early for go karts or arcade .and bring lots of comfy pillows and blankets to cozy up and watch the double feature. Sometimes there's even a triple feature going on. Prepare to get there an hour or so before the show to make sure you have a spot.rent the radio for 3$ or bring a portable and you don't have to worry about starting the car after. And please PLEASE turn your lights off during the show .

This place is great. My whole family loves it. The food is good we have been coming for years. They have added another snack shack at the front as well a little bar area that serves bottle and tap beer and other drinks. No spirits yet they said. Always packed here so we have to leave early to get a good spot. I think they need more restrooms for the amount of people that go there. Gave 4 stars for that and bc the screen is a bit dark if those things were fixed it would be pretty close to perfect.

Took the ferry just to go to the Blue Fox to see Shang-Chi but the projector partially failed. The movie was too dim to see which character was talking. The staff didn't delay the movie to fix the projector or offer money back. Past visits have been great, but this pretty much ruined our weekend.

If after all the fun you're too tired to drive home, feel free to spend the night. They allow camping and leave the restrooms open. They would rather have you crash there than crash on the way home!

We are fans of drive-in and since we've been regular visitors to Skyline in Shelton and Rodeo in Belfair, we've looked forward to visiting the most famous drive-in in Western Washington. We weren't disappointed. We liked the fact that they have posts installed to mark spots and get as many vehicles in as possible. Get here early because there's so much to do....go karts and an arcade. The go karts run after dark and it was kinda cool to see the neon lights running around the track. Menu at the snack bar wasn't as diverse as Rodeo (except for bottled drink options) but food was good. Support small family owned business!
