Normally not a busy theater, which is a good thing because there's rarely long lineups. Has ample parking space which is great. Staff does a great job of making sure the cinemas are clean after a movie ends.

Great area, lots if parking, many screens with all the latest releases...even some Bollywood titles if that's your thing. As with all Cineplex theatres the food is horrendously overpriced. Also, the screens seem to be relatively dim. I've heard stories that management will turn down the brightness to conserve the life of the expensive bulbs in the projector's. But I don't really know.

Never had a bad experience at this theater and the one time I did have a sub-par viewing experience the manager made sure we left happy. Clean theaters and decent arcade, overpriced concessions as always but can't complain still

The IMAX experience was amazing. I would recommend to purchase seat tickets further from the screen to fully enjoy. People sitting in the front rows it might get their eyes strained.

The night manager is amazing. Helps you with a lot of you issues on the spot no matter the size. The day manager will have you call Cineplex and wait on hold for 4 hours to possibly have them tell you that you should've gotten help from the manager. Shout outs the night manager! As soon as I get his name I will be mentioning him!

I like this location alot and I I to take my 4 yr old to watch boss baby sje wasn't able to sit thru the whole thing but half way was good enough she tried the scene points paid for it so it wasn't a loss and still am experience. The staff was very friendly!

This is just unacceptable. CINEPLEX HAS GOT TO FIX THIS. WORST seats. I don’t mean the comfort but the most basic thing which is cleanliness. I mean, most of the seats were dirty. They were so dirty that I have no words to express. There was no light in the theatre but I used my phones led light to check the seats and most of them were just so dirty. That’s probably why shut down the lights since the beginning. Not only the seats but the arms rests were just so dirty. Worst experience. I’m sorry but this is not a quality consumer expects.

I have went here on numerous occasions. This cinema is the closest place for me to catch new films when they come out that i want to see. It's very big, has more than enough cinema rooms for big blockbuster movies and they show Indian films from time to time. I love the UltraAVX screening of popular Marvel movies when they show come out. Best comfortable seats around with optimal performance from the surround sound speakers.

Cineplex theatre located inside the mall. Outside it is called famous players but it is still Cineplex in case anyone is confused. I do not recommend buying the nachos with only cheese sauce; must try combining it with the salsa it’s great especially when the nachos get cold and hard. I wish they had more food options. Everything else is great and the customer service is very good, everyone is friendly and it is accessible.

This theater is great for a simple night out without all the hustle of having to go downtown. Lots of parking and easy to get to. They've updated their arcade which is great. Plus there's a dollarama right across from them, great for getting some snacks before your show lol ????

The UltraAVX theater is ok. Not as good as iMax theater which has little better seating, brighter and slightly bigger screen. The complex is busy, many drivers have no regard for those leaving or going into the establishment. Be careful in the parking lot. The concession is always over crowded, the servers do their best, but it is messy and the quality of food compared to the other complex theaters is the same. The ushers need training and more support too. A couple of times there is a yelling match between a patron and an usher at the ticket check.

Good theater location. I like it. Not very updated though. They are never up to date with the new movie cups and they dont have those touch screen coca cola machines like some other theatres. But a good theatre if it's close to you.

Parking lot is small and packed on weekends. Movies are way overpriced nowadays so once in a blue moon is fine. Dished out almost $40 for 3D movie for myself and an 11 yr old. Food is a joke too, paid $51 but to be fair we bought the extra tops for the Avengers End Game cups. So roughly $30 on a large popcorn, large drink, and m&m's combo with 2 waters. Server was helpful and went out of his way to find extra tops for the cups for us. Theatre was dirty and they had a problem with people taking others chairs although seating is assigned.

Seems good within stones throw from my location. The movie was scheduled to be played at 6.45 pm was played 15 minute late. The movie I saw did not have any advertisement in the middle of the movie that means no break in the movie. The movie hall is not very big, though a good one. Has parking facility. Has many kiosk machine at the entrance of the theater.

It was a fun experience to be back in the theatre. Very few people were there for the earlier show so we almost had the place all to ourselves. Everything was quite clean but not all food services, like the ice cream dots machines, were back up and running just yet, however the essentials were there...popcorn, pop and candies. Great time to visit a theatre!

Typical place to watch the latest movies. The service is great and the place is clean, along with the washrooms which is a plus. The lines are ok they do take a few mins to get through. The theaters are clean when you get to your seats. The only thing that sucks is the long commercials before the movie, everyone can agree, but we do like to play the time play, its interactive and fun.

This location almost always has a great movie selection for everyone in the family. Prices are over priced for food but it is worth the experience, depending on the movie. Movie screens and seating space is a decent. For people that do not drive it is a little bit of a walk to get to from a bus stop. Especially when the weather is cold and gloomy out. Worst when it is raining or snowing that you’d need to tread through. A bit of a workout when snow conditions are against you. For people that drive it is a good and popular location. Plenty of parking space, especially at night when they other store in the vicinity are closing up. Conveniently located west of this building is a buffet. East of this building there are plenty of other restaurants. So just take your pick.

Great for entertainment and to fresh your mind. Great staff, went there to watch a movie with friends and the movie stopped in between due to a thunderstrom and the staff calmed the audience and made sure the movie was rinning after five minutes and while leaving they gave all a courtesy ticket for the inconvenience.

Good experience in the IMAX theater here. The place is clean, roomy and the reclining seats very comfortable with large cup holders. Food is not cheap, but then again the place was pretty empty given remaining covid restrictions. Conveniently located and lots of free parking.

Watched the Demon Slayer here with a friend last week and we had a really great time after not being able to go to the cinemas due to Covid-19. The staffs were nice and it's a good thing that there's social distancing and the place was really clean and spacious. Would love to watch another movie here again????.

My fave cinema....for 15 years or so.Though I've lost newly bought items that were never returned....I can not fault them. Great service as I could ask the ticket guys to let in any friend/family that would come later ...giving them the tickets in advance. Full description or introductions, they always do a great job.

Generally had a nice experience, but there was no one at the counter for me to buy my tickets. The ticket booths were uncooperative, so it would have been nice if someone was there. As we walked to the arcade my boyfriend wanted to play in the arcade, but again absolutely no one is there. We enjoyed our date regardless but i think we will be choosing a different theatre next time..

I am REALLY not happy with the fact that Cineplex has decided to replace people to buy your ticket from with automated machines. I foresee this as less jobs that a teenager could get to learn responsibility and work ethic skills now that this job has been replaced by a machine. The human interaction was a nice part of the whole movie experience.

Some movies are really packed and you have to sit in the first rows but overall it's a nice experience and easy to bring CHEAPER outside food in. I wouldn't recommend buying snacks or drinks here as ya know, it's a movie theater. There's a dollar store near it for snacks.

They do a terrible job in keeping the washrooms clean at this location. Also, the frozen yogurt is weighed down with water as they charge by weight. I got an average sized cup portion with no toppings and they charged me $19 dollars. Not cool!

Cineplex have wide collection of movies, Bollywood, Hollywood and many more language cinema. Variable show timings make it even more accessible. Spacious theatre and we are definitely going to be frequent visitors. Just the Popcorns and beverage is bit expensive as expected.

Not much to say about this place... It's a movie theatre. UltraAVX theatre is awesome, huge screen and sound! Don't buy a combo here.... It's insanely expensive!! $28 for one large popcorn, MEDIUM drink, and a bag of chocolate!! Bring snacks from home!

Nice cinema, simple enough to get your ticket as there are self-service machines. Good food, I just find that the nachos finish quicker than other nachos I've bought at other cinemas. Decent amount of snacks at the concession and games in the arcade. Fun games to play in the theatres while waiting against other persons who are watching the same movie as you, you just need to download the app which is either Timeplay or Timezone, I can't remember.

Decent theatre but its showing its age and its not well maintained. It's clean but seats need maintenance more often than not, the arcade is an eye-sore and there are never enough staff. We all know the consessions are a rip-offbut for the prices they charge, the could at least make the food edible. They are still charging premium prices for a run of the mill experience. And they wonder why attendance is declining.

Had a blast watching movies here! Great seating, good air conditioning, friendly staff and overall fun atmosphere at this location! Only qualms I had here however was that late at night they lock the entrance doors from the outside... So if you go for a smoke or need fresh air after a while and try to come back, you will be out of luck and need to wait for someone to come by to open the doors for you. It's an issue of you need the washroom, so be prepared in advanced! Highly recommend any workers who see this review possibly think of putting up signs of these unwritten protocols of locking the doors. Some people were frustrated with this when it happened while I was there. Other than that, good location to watch movies!

Had fun watching aquaman on Imax, the theater is small and it could get crowded sometimes. Also one thing I noticed in Imax is that the screen would flicker and vibrate as if the projector is being shaken. Other than that it was great.

This used to be a great theatre, but I feel like it gets worse and worse as time goes on. The bathrooms are almost always filthy, and the seats in the standard theatres are absolutely without merit. Could do with a LOT of cosmetic and functionality upgrades to facilities.

I watched Thor Ragnarok and Avengers Infinity Wars in IMAX 3D .The experience was great.This cinema has a lot of space and seats are comfy with more legroom.This cinemas is better than Scotiabank Theatre and Yonge Dundas. One can pay with Scene Card here. I had pulled poutine burger from Outakes and it tasted really good. It is located in Eglinton Town Centre(Eglinton St) so there are lot of places to shop and eat at within 3-4 mins walk. It has lots of parking spaces as well and connection by TTC buses 68 (Warden) and 34(Eglinton) Overall,I recommend this for IMAX 3D while Yonge Eglinton and CF Shops at don mills for VIP(full recliner seats)

Beauthifull place as always they are. I love the feature of buying online and taking your eticket right at the check in directly to have it scanned and walla, off you go into the theatre to watch your flick. This feature is awesome if you are a loner as well. No interaction required and you can sit inside within seconds with your comfort blanket. The points system has changed as well for better or worst but get one. Don’t spend money without any loyalty card a company provides. Things or points always add up. Just don’t fester over them and let it compile like an investment ????????.

I have been twice to this cineplex, both times for horror movies and I just regret going there! There are always these dumb people who have loud conversations during the movie, have their phones out, and start clapping randomly. Grow up people! If you want to be a nuisance, please stay at home and watch it. Worst experience ever! Not sure what cineplex staff is going to do about that..

Service was great from the entrance to the snack bar... When we w went to our seats.. OMG so outdated... Unbelievable they have old chairs that you have to try to rock yourself back, if you want to hold yourself back, you will have to push and hold your feet from the front seat .. and if someone is seating in front of you, not way you can do that, which was my case last night. Theater needs a redo ASAP... They are not charging less for old style seating.

It was good overall. It's a nice theatre. However it was a slower night on a Sunday and staff were talking unprofessionally around me when I was getting concessions. That was disappointing. You should never use that language when customers are around. Despite this it's a nice theatre overall.

Filthy .. not the cinema staffing but clients. when movie over aisles full of food and popcorn we had to stand it. ???????? would be great if Cineplex in the midst of their many adverts said ... there are bags for rubbish at the door please take rubbish. ... 3. This place is our cinema of choice for parking. And quick line ups cannot be beaten.

This is my go to spot to watch movies since its the closest. Its a good theatre but sometimes there arent enough workers. Even when it is not busy, i had to wait alnost 10 mins for someone to serve me. You have to book your seats and the only thing about it is you can book your seats right next to someone. I get that you need to be fully vaccinated to go in but i still feel you should not be able to do that, atleast until the pandemic is over.

Our vaccine certs were not examined. In the theatre, there were many without masks during the movie. A couple were coughing and blowing noses and were obviously not well. We booked our seats then discovered that anyone can book a seat right next to you. Not pleased.

Treated well service was good, enjoy the movie. However the men's washroom on the 8 to 16 side was unattended, and very strong odor of urine. You could see Footprints from where patrons had stood at the urinal and walked away, indicating that they were leaving a trail of urine in their steps.

I watched Avengers Infinity War recently...it has good amount of food options, finding parking is easy, wheel chair accessible entrances, it's neat and clean. But normally on weekends or stat holidays there is a lot of rush...and queues to get the tickets can get lot longer, arrive ahead of time to avoid missing the movie. Online bookings is also advisable since there are ticket vending machines to pick up online. Please like my review if you find it helpful.

Protocols in place with no issues to report. I try to go to the movies during quiter times. Space clean, greater when entering ensures that we all our vaccination pass and proper ID. Cineplex team have their act together and I am glad to be back to see movies on the big screen. Not sure how the process will be when it get cold and busy.

In all my years going to the movie theatre had I never imagined that a group of kids WHOM BY THE WAY WERE SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT BUT HE STEPPED AWAY FOR A MOMENT TO GRAB SOMETHING WHILE THE ADS WERE SHOWING ON THE SCREEN, would be kicked out. The manager is a complete nightmare. Instead of waiting for the adult to come back and sit beside the kids again before the movie began, the manager used his power hungry authority to not even do that. Instead of waiting for the adult to come back and ensure that he would be staying with the kids through the entire movie, he kicked them out. Instead of thinking “hmmm maybe I can get someone to check on this group to ensure that indeed the adult stays with the kids for this movie”, he kicks them out while the ads are rolling. What is the point in adult supervision IF THE KIDS GOT KICKED OUT OF THE MOVIE BEFORE IT EVEN STARTED AND BEFORE THE ADULT WAS SPOKEN TO? the movie was Halloween and the kids had been talking about it for weeks. Was it a discrimination issue? Why Not allow the kids and the adult stay to watch the movie? Yes the money was refunded but unfortunately for that manager, his lack of people skills and intelligence won’t give those kids back their, what was supposed to be, fun Halloween night. Perhaps the conclusion of their terrible experience was maybe the manager just wanted to enjoy Halloween and not work. If that’s the case, he’s got the wrong job and should probably not work in customer service because he lacks the correct skills all around. I’ll make sure that when I go back to that theatre that I don’t have to get up to use the washroom and leave my kids because they might just get kicked out. Or I’ll just ask him to babysit my kids while I use the facilities.

My husband and I were looking forward to watching a movie after working a 12hr shift and the first thing we noticed was how filthy the theatre was. There were beer bottles and popcorn everywhere. The first chair I sat down in had butter on the armrests. First time at this location.... worst one I’ve been to.

Been to this theater many times, simple setting makes it feel nice because you go through the center, and then left or right depending on where your movie is. That's it. As for food, as usual Cineplex food is overpriced so I wouldn't recommend. And their timeplay gets worse every year so welp.

It's a fairly large Cineplex movie theater located in Central Scarborough just off Eglinton and Warden. The parking lot is fairly large as it's part of an outlet plaza but finding parking during busy periods can be tough. Arrive early enough to get a spot. There's the standard concession stand and an arcade. There is an external security officer who stands by the front but doesn't impede the process. All in all a great movie theater. Clean, spacious and lots of showings.

16 screens...lots of automated pay machines to by tickets so you dont have to wait in line...also one automated machine to scan your e-tickets as well...n also there is a guy who is there to help you out...the IMAX experience is just awesome...

It's not bad for a Cineplex. Usually pretty clean, the staff are mostly nice and the food is at least warm. Quality of the projection is very hit and miss. The fake IMAX is usually decent, but 3D projection is often too dim. Lots of parking.

I used to come here more often but I've stopped. Frankly... it is the customers who are the problem. Almost every darn movie I would see if filled with complete fools who won't shut their loud mouths. It ruined far too many movies. It seems to be the area more than anything, the people around there just don't care or respect other people. Age doesn't matter either, teenagers, adults, there appears to be no pattern. My only hope was to see movies after the first week but even that system started breaking down. My husband got into a screaming match with these two dunce 30+ year old women behind us who would not just up after multiple polite requests and warnings. And I'm not talking whispers, I don't even care if a person whispers quietly, I'm talking FULL VOLUME TALKING. They were such horrible people I wouldn't have minded watching them resist arrest after having the cops called on them. After that we were done. The only time I've come back is with month old movies in hopefully empty theatres. At least the parking is plentiful...

I love that the bathrooms are next to the theatres, it gets a little annoying when you have to keep your ticket on you at all times. My boyfriend bought tickets for us an a few friends to get the IMAX seats together, how would we have used the bathroom? This movie theater is genius.

This man just be my opinion but when it comes to movie theaters the only thing that matters is if it's clean and the customer service if both of those things are good then there's no issue with the movie theater the movies themselves have nothing to do with the movie theater and the movie theaters can't use the movies so really even if the movies there suck if the movie theater itself is good give it a good review that's just my opinion

It is an enjoyable place to watch movies with kids and family. Recently we started visiting for all animation movie releases as kids like them watching on the big screen compared to the 50-inch at Home. Cineplex membership is an addon with one free and two membership-priced tickets.

Love taking the kids to the theatre. Tons of parking lots of seats available. The pizza and burger stand is often unmanned. We waited twice there and no one showed up. Staff was just slacking somewhere as the pizza was spinning at the counter

Given the size of the parking lot, parking is never an issue. Lots of great restaurants in the same complex (East Side Mario's, The Moose & Barrel, Tatami Sushi, Imperial Buffet), thus a dinner & movie night is one stop. Always a great selection of movie, good layout and games to occupy yourself before your movie starts.

It was -20 outside and heating broke down during WW1 documentary, They Will Not Grow Old. Since it was a one day screening... Audience all toughed it out, and management gave us all 2 complementary tickets. Good job everyone ????????!

Pretty nice cineplex with a good selection of places to eat surrounding it. However the massive parking lot is obnoxious to journey through especially if you don't have a vehicle. Also the theatre plays more obscure titles as well as the blockbusters which is nice because if you don't want to travel downtown it's good to have options.

This is my preferred theatre, honestly, and I live much closer to downtown than the east side. I've just never had any real problems here, and the staff has always done their best to help out if you need it. As with most theatres, I'd avoid popular times because you're going to have a hard time finding a good seat if you aren't early. Very spacious and clean in the off-times though.

Went here during the covid-19 pandemic to see a movie, but all the doors were locked for some reason. So I found an open window and climbed on in, made myself a mean bag of popcorn and headed to the theater. I waited for hours, but no movie ever started playing so I left. 3 stars because the popcorn was pretty, pretty good.

Lots of parking which is great. The new automated ticket purchasing systems are so disappointing and not intuitive to use. I see a lot of frustrated people, many seniors trying their best. The times I have tried to use them, it's left me angry by the time I have finished my purchase. Not the way I want to start my trip to the movies with my kids.

Only saw a handful of people (including staff) in the lobby/front entrance when I arrived 2 purchase my ticket 4 the movie I had chosen 2 watch. No lineup ar the ticket counter or kiosks, so I had my ticket in a snap. Only (2) people ahead of me at the concession stand, & only (2) other people in the theater I was in. Fairly clean everywhere, including the washrooms.

Spacious movie theater with latest releases. Has staff and self-serve machines to buy tickets. Lots of food options and arcades to kill time before or after movie. Lots of parking. Wheelchair parking available. Can't recall seeing wheelchair entrance but most likely available.

Went to see the James Bond movie.... the seats are old, no seat/back support, the springs are shot- noisy creaking and dirty - saw this when the lights came on. No wonder there were only about 10 people there!!! Cineplex - get your act together, clean-up, sanitize, and move into the 21st century.

The things I tolerate for love of cinema: Never thought I'd say this, but my experience in Bangladeshi cinema halls, movie and food wise, was far better than my first experience in a movie theatre here. Oh, at 1/10th of the price I have paid here. Hall was not very clean. The smell was nauseating which became bearable after they turned the AC on 30-40 minutes into the movie. To make my experience more awesome, two girls beside me giggled the entire time the Avengers endgame played.

Big movie theater. Went to see avengers on a Sunday. No lineup. All. Kiosks however. The popcorn was fresh and they have the butter dispenser at no extra charge unlike the older theaters. Movie was good. Room clean and seats comfortable. Tons of parking available.

It's a busy theatre so I suggest buying tickets in advance. No more live people selling tickets and if you have coupons you can't use the kiosk so you need to line up at the Concession stand. I also noticed some of the eating areas near the concession hadn't been clened in a while. They do show some more artsy movies than Scarborough Town Centre Cineplex. Good theatre, good movie selection but they need to up their customer service game.

First time at this location, was a fantastic time. We brought our 3 year old toddler for his first movie theater experience and it was one to remember. We came and seen the grinch, which was great, we stopped at the food stand and with our movie coupons purchase from Costco we got a large popcorn, and 2 medium drinks along with a kids combo included in our entry. The movie captivated him the entire time and after the movie we went to the arcade. We then enjoy some of the games there, and had a few goes at the claw game for a paw patrol stuffy, with no luck there we were about to head out and one of the gaming staff came over and opened it up for a stuffy of his choice, it was a really thoughtful gesture for this toddlers first time experience. He now has that Marshall stuffy on his bed every night from his movie theater experience, such a nice memory! Thank you for the fantastic experience, we will definitely be back!

It has that feeling of small town theatre. No lines to buy tickets or popcorn, even when only one person was behind the counter. We went on a weekday and finding parking was easy. I like that they offer the gourmet popcorn option. The theatre for our movie was small but seats were comfortable.

Great movie theater location! Lots of restaurants around the theater! Inside, the lobby is very grand and has an arcade. The theaters are great too with lots of space for you. Unfortunately, this theater does not have popcorn or drink refills. But, The Scotiabank Theater on Dundas has refills only for drinks

It is my first time back to the cinema theatres since 2019. It was an amazing and pleasant experience. It was funny that my last movie watching in theatres was Marvel Avengers Endgame, and that my first movie since the pandemic was Marvels' Shang Chi. Lifenis good and awesome. The staff at Cineplex Odeon Eglinton we're charming and very helpful. Prices were the same as before the pandemic. I love movies. Thank you from the bottom or my heart.

This theater couldn't care less about the theatre calibration. One out of every two visits; their projector bulb is failing or the left surround speaker is incredibly loud while the center channel is very quiet. I would routinely call these problems out to the manager, the usher or any employee who would listen, then I would watch them completely ignore my complaint and go ahead and fill the theater with more paying customers. I'm just looking for a projectionist that cares. If the film makers knew what these guys were doing to their movies, maybe then something would be done?

Never liked what they did with the Golden Mile Plaza from years and years ago. It was an open plaza then. Really since they enclosed the plaza never had an interest to visit again. What is inside appears hidden now.

It's a very nice movie theatre (not too outdated like some theatres can be) - a medium to large size and the staff are friendly! One time I went for a movie and the theatre was extremely full - a staff member offered for us to exchange our ticket to come back for a different time.

Went on Monday night of family Day weekend. What an awfully experience. Super crowded, and a ton of them little kids. People wouldn't stop talking during the movie, and not just one or two people, but MANY. Worst of all, they hadn't even pretended to clean the theatre. It wasn't just that the floors were a bit sticky, but there were entitled drinks in the holders, and half empty popcorn containers on the floor. I won't be back there anytime soon.

A place where you can feel Indian culture although on foreign soil. One of the rare cinemas which screens Indian movies within Toronto. Huge parking available as well. Time hortons, pizza pizza and many other food chains nearby....

I finally decided to see Black Panther after most of the hype is dying down. Read the reviews and watched the trailers. This cinema is very large and has several large theatres. Ticket purchases are done through self-service machines or on-line in advance so don’t expect any attendant to aid you if you’re not used to following prompts on a screen. You can sense annoyed people behind you if you mess up! There is a large sitting area to consume food while waiting for your movie to begin or to pick up family members after a flick. Concession food prices are higher than if you went to an actual food place. Heck, just enjoy the time out!

It’s a nice clean place to go see a movie and the seats are comfy. The reason it got 3 stars though because for whatever reason they did not let us into the movie until 5 minutes before it started. A lot of us were just standing in line waiting and no one would update us as to why it was taking so long.

Decent theatre. Unbelievably expensive for concessions. Why does a large popcorn, medium drink and bag of candy have to cost over $22??? Thankfully there's a dollar store across the way and you can get a bottle of soda and the same bag of candy for less than $5. Get a small or medium popcorn at the the theatre.

Usually shows all the new movies. Clean, friendly staff. If don't want to use machines to buy tickets, can buy tickets at snack concession . Been a couple of times there not too long ago where there was a delay in showing the movie. One time was because put on wrong movie(20 min longer) and other time haven't cleaned the theatre (7min longer) and no real apology which is why lowered the star rating from 5 to 3.

Large Cinema that is clean and has an arcade and a poptopia and a good concession stand that usually has a good selection of current films. They usually also have foreign language films. Very rarely is it too busy here either. So you can usually get a good seat.

Tried the 3D DBox for the first time today and didn't have a smooth online booking experience. Although the cast member didn't have the right knowledge base to resolve the issue (go get the manager and bring them to the theatre), the manager on duty listened to our issue and promised to relay our issue to the booking team, while providing free passes to experience another movie on them

Tried their IMAX but was disappointed. Compared to other IMAX experiences, I did not enjoy the crowded experience especially during covid times. Found it to be not as clean either but that's because the people need to be considerate of the staff and not create such a mess. Either way, if I have to go to the cinema I would rather go for a standard viewing at this place than for their IMAX as I found the picture quality to be darker too. Food is same as everywhere. Overpriced. Can't be helped if you have to have popcorn while watching your movie.

After a year and a half of COVID 19 restrictions we finally went back to the movies and decided to see a show at Cineplex Eglinton Town Centre. They talked about their safety measures including ensuring adequate (2 metres) distancing between seats, but when we saw our film, a guy was sitting right behind us. We didn’t really think about it until after the show but this was definitely not social distancing. We never saw any theatre staff checking to see that this was being observed. Pretty disappointing. I think we’ll stay away from the movies for awhile.

A great Cineplex! I've been going here pretty often for about five years. It's always very clean, never too busy, and has a lot of theaters and show times. I really liked when they showed old movies and anime etc. as "events" I hope they bring that back post-pandemic.

Watched the latest Star Wars episode in IMAX. I love the fact that this Cineplex location. Has improvised to IMAX. The seating, sound system as well as the overall atmosphere has improved, not as much as the changing times

This Cineplex Odeon is the best location to watch movies. Well in my thought, except for the fact that you can not have infinite drinks. There are many movie types to watch from. (3D, 2D, IMAX, 4D etc.) The place is small so its easy to navigate and not get lost. The restrooms are good. Drinks are a problem. Please add free refills. Awesome place.

Lovely cinema. Had a problem with my gift cards when buying tickets on the new ticket machines on a very busy day and the manager fixed everything for me right away. Even had our movie sold out later on and he got us reserved seats at another time with no hassle. Customer service here is excellent and food and movie experience was great!

Fair size theater, a lot of screens, and it's a pretty decent location. Never really had any issues, lots of parking, and tons of food / drink options on the outside of the theater. Food inside the theater has always been decent, however when it comes to anything such as pizza, burgers, and chicken. It can take a while, they are disorganized during peek time, and don't engage the customers coming from the main counters. On the plus side I have had an experience when we had to leave the theater before the movie ended, asked the manager if we could get a refund so we could return later on to watch it again. The manager was great with explaining the company policy, informing us that it isn't possible, but he understood the situation, gave us passes and we returned the next day to re-watch the movie.

I went to see black panther in 3D and it was an awesome experience. the whole theater was packed you won't believe how big it is until you go inside and see for yourself. One thing that really bothered me is the light that was still on even when the movie start 10 min in the they still on until this one old guy was like Hi do you want watch my drink so i can get these lights off I'm like yea sure as soon as he gets up the lights went off ???? good times lol

We went to a mid-weekday show, so it wasn't busy at all. The auditorium was filthy, and the seats had no padding left. The sound crackled throughout the entire movie (commercials played perfectly, of course) and one of the dimmed lights flickered for over an hour, both causing a severe distraction. I left the auditorium three times to alert staff to the issue and nothing changed. When I followed-up after the movie, no employee had a recollection of my concerns. The cost of a general admission ticket is far too steep for these conditions to be acceptable. I will not be returning.

Went with some friends here to watch a movie and it was a good time. The arcade section is small it keeps you busy. There's a outtakes area its decent and there are more machines to pay with your card than cash register to pay for tickets.

The cineplex itself is good but the location is not the best. I can't say I was a fan of the snacks either. Unless you have a car or live really close by, I wouldn't recommend going to this location due to its poor accessibility.

Lightly attended afternoon screening, so everything went quickly even though they still don’t seem to have scanning for QR codes yet—they just look at the date on the phone and match your name to ID. Third time recently going here (because free parking) and the crowds still seem much lighter than back in the old days, even though full capacity is allowed again. So, the lobby is easy to walk through these days.

Easy parking and convenient location. Staff at theatres will always do the whole non fresh popcorn thing but this one tends to give fresh more often than not which is nice. Staff in general tend to be good at this location. It can get busy on Tuesdays as is the case with most theatres but the setup of the lobby can make it a little troublesome. Recently they switched to pretty much all self serve which (while I tend to use it anyways) is annoying if you're asking about amount of tickets sold but it's the future so I guess there's no stopping it.

Cineplex cinema's are amazing places to watch the latest movies. The screens are superb and huge. The seats are comfortable and large. UK cinema's have alot of catching up to do. The snack court is full of options. Also there is a small arcade room for a quick classic game. If you are in Toronto or anywhere in Canada I do recommend to try out a Cineplex cinema.

It's a movie theatre, so I'm not going to complain about food prices. That's a long lost battle, my friends. Overall, it seems the projector bulbs were quite worn and dim. I also wasn't a big fan of how people can buy their tickets now. All of the tills are machines and only one rep is walking around to help if people don't know how to use the machines. This oftentimes held up the line.

Odeon is a very popular movie chain. This multiplex chain exists in many metropolitan areas-and it's part of the Cineplex Series in Canada. As a CEO- and a consultant in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion- Karishma has been reading about the dangers of many places that have no real borders. The local Canadian banking association shares about those details of places without borders such as Iran, Turkey, Punjab, China-and the issues with the employment of the workforce. While growing up she rememebers seeing this picture of a visible minority, ethnic minority from a slummy area in Iran-and charachters who'd be raised with food insecurity, as well as no real map to go out. They would really sing in Iran’s holy slummy area - and be yelled at by old weird men. She remembers watching this 80s movie Noorie. She has no idea why she watched this movie and cried in bed. She really felt sorry for that slummy labor. Noorie - from Iran Karishma wonders why there’s no education in Iran, China, Pakistan, Punjab, Turkey. Most folks from these places work in business. Why are these places so dangerous. There was a young disabled girl - [no idea why] ended up going during day hours | work hours went out-and was forced to not move and was surrounded by few old men. She had no idea why she needed to watch the movie from sad part of Punjab on Mute. She had no idea why she was watching this movie on Mute with few people, in a theatre that was all in the dark. She would see this. Feel really sorry for the state of women. The story was of a man romancing a young girl ( a girl without any roots) and had moved to a new location. Then she gets attacked by the sharks ( old men) who told her to be a certain way. It meant that the girl won’t qualify for the job as she was romancing a man while wearing a veil. This was the era when there was purdah system for women from dangerous places. They would end up marrying the first dad's friend they met-and then would permanently stay with them-to retailiate to all the violence from old men. So they needed to stay in haunted houses and befriend their dad’s friends. She would be part of a cultural performance in her house setting. She'd never get out of homes. That lady can apply. She can apply. She would not be ineligible in the entrepreneurial market. This political movie was saying that women who wear purdah must be treated special. This woman of Color would have to enter into an open broadcasters solicitation to get bids as she was special. Her story was special. She was unique. She would only go out on roads-to report birth, crime, deaths. She could lead a life of duplicity. She'd wear a veil in outside at hospital, school-and be modern in inside. This charachter was created to get political advantage. It's stange that Karishma remembers watching this slummy movie in Odeon-to understand multiculturalism. The next day news headlines reported many road accidents around that area. It almost felt like that a historic moment that Karishma was at Odeon watching a survivor. Applause!!! At least two decades later-there are similar movies that celebrate veil culture. There is a Netflix show that celebrates veil culture from Middle East. Most Canadian French songs get translated into Arabic. The sheer principles of equality is to recognize the presence of people from all backgrounds - and Karishma definitely feels the organizations must share better stories around not only recognizing this population, but also helping move the needle on how they view traffic. Most these women are Uber drivers or election reporters for against governments.

The cinema has almost 15 screens but the crowd is always well-managed. There is never too much wait at any counter. Always clean and well-maintained. Good service overall. The parking lot is big enough too.

I love this theater because it's 7 minutes away from my home. It has 16 screens in it and most of them are large. There's a ton of free parking out front. The concession stands now offer a slice of pizza or a hot dog or a hamburger or poutine or fries Etc. But you should be having buttered popcorn and a Coke. That's how you enjoy a movie.

One of my favorite Cineplex cinemas in the city, spacious, clean, generally not as crowded as downtown. Sort of an awkward area to get to if you don't drive, but worth the extra effort. Only downside is the wait times for tickets and concession are always long even when it's not that busy.

A wonderful movie. Tickets were reasonably priced and not too hard to obtain . However. I t has been my experience that people cannot keep their popcorn bags, candy bags and beverage bottles quiet. The only thing that you hear is the above over the movie sound track. I ask you . Why bother to go? Please note. This theatre is handicapped accessible and is easy to get to by public transport and parking is not a issue . Tickets can be purchased online via the Cineplex website or at the theatre itself via the box office or ticket terminals. Advance ticket purchases can also be arranged.

Just went to see blade runner yesterday in 3D in theatre 10. Unfortunately the picture wasn't initially showing at all and then when it was fixed after a few people went to complain, there was still quite a large flaw across the bottom of the screen - light areas that prevented you from seeing clearly especially for a dark movie like blade runner. Hopefully, they get better at quality control of their theatres. Have gone in the past and had no problems.

VERY disappointed in the response I got when I had complained about some people in the back row talking and on their cell phones during the movie. ( knives out ) When I approached an employee, they said they would take care of it.. nothing was done. It wasn't until other people around us yelled at the kids in the back row they stopped. To the management of this theater, terrible job on training your staff on customer service. Even the guy that took our tickets looked like he wanted to run off, not a single smile or happy expression from any staff during our visit. What a waste of scene points. Thanks for a terrible experience.

It was a Tuesday night, so it was pretty busy. However the refreshment stand was well staffed and I got my order quickly. Had to dock a couple of points though because the server wasn't very engaged...she didn't ask if i wanted my receipt, which i did, she didn't ask if i had a scene card. I did. And she did not say enjoy the show.

This theatre is a great location if you want something a bit more low key. Even on opening nights you will find there are often seats compared to the more popular locations. Every time I've been there the staff is friendly and the place is fairly clean by movie theatre standards.

Not much to say. Not bad but great. Like that the process is fast and simple to get tickets and get to your theatre. Also like the new self serve kiosks. However, it would be nice to have an attendant around to help those who are not technologically inclined.

Good screens, audio (depending on the theater of course), employees and overall... goodness. Especially loved when I watched Avengers: Endgame in IMAX opening weekend, it may have been one of those "fake" imax theaters, smaller screen and stuff, but still an enjoyable time.

I have no issues with the theatre in general, but the service for getting food is HORRENDOUS. This happened over a month ago, however I never had the time to write my review and doing so now only b/c someone brought up going to this theatre and I am now remembering what horrible customer service I had. When I went, I went to order a poutine. After TWENTY minutes of waiting for my food... I asked if there are any issues. The person told me that they actually dont have any fries left, and if I wanted to wait until they got more in the back ? or something of that sort. First of all, had I not even asked about my order they would have never said anything. It is eveident that they totally forgot that I placed it there. The person who told me they were going to go check for more fries went to the back of the store and never came back (as if he was embarrassed about forgetting my order) I then had to go to the cashier (very nice gentleman, light skin with tattoos) who was willing to help me out, but I told them at this p oint I just wanted a refund. When the manager came, she never asked what the problem was never acknowleged me or anything just put in some code in the machine so i was able to get refunded. Absoloutely horrendous!!!!!! Not only was i left HUNGRY, but in waiting for almost half hour for this all to take place I ended up missing the first ten mins of my movie. Never again. The people working where you get pizza/wings/poutines are all highschool kids who CLEARLY do not care about the customers.

I like the fact that this theatre is almost near my workplace and home as well. I like the convenience that there is a lot of regular stores around the area and even some plazas around the neighbourhood and everything, but the choice of staff members in this cinema makes it hard to like this place and to even want to come back at all. The event happened on May 28 at 4:35 pm, the event starts with two girls (a dark skin girl with curly long dark hair and a chubby white girl with tied up dark hair, both of them with less than 5.2 height). The two girls were talking to each other at the cash register WHILE HELPING CUSTOMERS, and at the same time talking about their everyday life and playing with their cellphones after helping the customers out. By the time it was my turn to purchase the ticket, the two girls got so ofended with my presence that they started to acted very rude and in the most arrogant possible. I'm not sure about the choice the management of this place makes about their employees, but you can tell how much the people who run this cinema give a damn about everything in general. Also, staff members should start pay attention inside the theatre, the movie I watched (Aladdin) multiple people were taking pictures with flash on and video recording the film, the worst part is that the same people were taking pictures and video recording the film throughout the WHOLE ENTIRE FILM.

Mixed feelings about this theatre.. it's been a hit or miss but when I watched Avengers there 2 weeks ago, we watched it in 3D and in d-box, and the volume was VERY low. No bass, no thrill. I felt like I was watching TV at home without my sound bar on. I'm sure others noticed, but I didn't bother getting up to say anything as I was afraid that they would just stop the movie.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Only downfall they need to have a more communicative staff member to guide the ticket line. i waited behind 10 customers and 4 ticket machines were open. I told them the machines were open and they finally moved up to use them. A cineplex worker was standing right there on their phone...........

Went to see Avengers: Infinity War this weekend and had a blast. The staff were friendly (when I dropped my glove without noticing one attendant ran up - with maybe a bit TOO much enthusiasm - to return it, thanks!) and overall the theater is still in great shape despite now being on the older side. If I had anything to complain about was that the floor by my seat was a bit sticky, but that's just part of the movie going experience.

I went to see the James Bond movie on October 9, 2021 at 630pm. Was highly disappointed because they were two patrons continually coughing through the movie. The over patron was also continually sneezing and blowing their nose. I was concerned if they had covid and why they were allowed to be inside the theater. Also, about 4 different People were on their cell phones at different times through the movie. Their bright screens were such a distraction. Cineplex Eglinton... I'm never visiting you guys again!!! Waste of my $23

Went to see Teen Titans Go to the Movies. Its been out a while now so thought it would be an empty theatre. Wrong. Got front row seats. The theatre complex itself is quite big and very clean. The theatre we were in is quite small. Seats maybe 150 people..just an estimate. Was a great environment. The only fault here was the snack bar. Was upsold butter only to find it free at the condiments counter. No assistance to combo suggestions and only having 1 person serving with long line ups...poor service. The attendant was slow too. All in all movie was great. Too bad they dont do something about the concession pricing or better knowledge to their servers.

Theaters are always clean and always enough cashiers at concessions - never have to wait very long, if at all. Popcorn is prepped well and games are stocked and mostly working. One of the best things about this location is that there is free, ample parking space. Huge plus - this is our go-to.

The building has potential but the current General Manager runs the building in to the ground. As a result of his blatant negligence the staff are demoralized and the experience here is poor. Sadly... the company stopped caring about the guest or employee experience many many years ago and will prioritize money and profits over everything from safety to morale.

Great theatre. It never feels overly crowded. The screens are large and the offer reserved seating for AVX and D-Box theatres. Price are ridiculous, but so are all movie theatres so it's hard to fault them there. Customer service has always been top notch.

Counter needs better customer communication skills. The counter person just stood for good five minutes like a statue not say his booth is closed and not acknowledge me. The supervisor act if it's my fault for standing with replied loud voice the next lane is open. Good business skills for a Tuesday night supposed to be your busy night! Other than that clean theater as always.

Basic theater. Not many options other than VIP in the area. Staff are OK. had a few complaints about people talking through movies, staff checked on the people once, obviously they stopped talking as soon as they walked in, then staff left, they continued talking, talked to her manager and got free passes, staff member even lied about checking up on us multiple times.. another time years ago we had a rat charge toward us along the top of the seats, we ran... again, we talked to the manager quietly and got passes.. but.. seriously.

Service was great and so was the movie, but the food was way overpriced. I paid $10 for a small popcorn which wasn't really worth it, it was very buttery and oily but this is the first time its happens so it is okay. I also paid $7 for a small chocolate pack which was very unfair but other then the prices, i had an amazing time. I will be coming back :)

Great theatres! Very clean. At least 8-10 shows at any given time! Refreshments available. All viewers very well behaved. Busy on half-price Tuesdays and best seats fill up 45 mins before show. Other days, you have choice of seat. Love to come here for hindi movies. Large parking lot. Shops nearby. Highly Recommended..

Let us get the negatives out of the way first. The food is too damn expensive and honestly kind of naff. And the lobby is cold and there are no seats. On the other side the theatre has a nice small arcade to pass time while you wait for others or the movie. The theatre has all the latest movies which is obviously good

The concierge is always very busy. Go early to get your tickets and snacks or food as the lines are always extremely long! The actual theater showing the movie was quite empty with roughly 15 ppl or less, so you could have picked literally any seat to sit in even though you had an assigned seat.

Two stars for the two workers they have at the concession stand. Two stars for the 10 min wait just too order pop corn, oh yeah and the popcorn they have sitting under heat lamps. But they grab the bag a pretend to put fresh popcorn into the bag. Not to mention I had to go and tell them to turn off the lights that they failed to turn off at the beginning of the film. It's a shame this place used to be good.

Everything is good, except the seats. One-piece seats are good but not when they are this crouching and smooshed down together. Especially for those with hip issues, these seats can be troublesome; and if you're a big man, Lord, have mercy unto your smooshed down nuts as well! Ever heard of recliner seats? Not talking about those sofa seats but regular seats where the back and sitting portions are two separate pieces but does push back and slide forward, only when you adjust thus. We have those in PVR and most other cinemas in India, what y'all call a third world country. Come on, Canada, be first world, in every realm, eh?!

Friendly staff, pretty clean. A bit older cinema, seats not upgraded. The staff member checking vaccines just looked at my qr code and id but didn't scan it. I don't think i would come back to this location without them stepping up covid protocols. QR scanner is a free app and they already have infrared scanners to scan tickets so this just seems like laziness by management.

We went for an late morning show. Not many people which was great. Tickets for movie bought with popcorn. Theatres were clean and social distancing protocol was in place. We enjoyed the movie and it was great to be once again at the movies.

Went to see ShengChi and the legend of the five rings today at @CineplexOdeon Eglinton. The movie was fantastic, but we are very upset about the new Covid-19 protocol changes. No longer do they provide 6 ft distance all around you. They only block the seat on either side of you. Not the row ahead or behind. So you are not 6 feet apart. This is apparently a new policy this weekend. We went to complain to the manager of the theater, she was lovely and really understood our safety concerns. She let us know this was a new change and she has had many complaints and she promised to bring our concerns up the chain. As an avid movie goer, this was my first time back in a theater since covid. My son and husband went previously and felt very safe with the way the seats around them were fully blocked off, but my husband even said he was highly uncomfortable now with this new approach and will not be going back anytime soon if this is the way they are going to operate the seating for Covid-19. We'll have to revert to streaming the films we want to see at home again, which is what we have been doing during the Pandemic. It is not the same because the Eglinton Cinema is fantastic otherwise. We have been going there for years. Our family watches lots of movies and two family members work in the industry so it a family obsession. Sadly...we didn't feel safe. You need to be mindful of this new policy if you plan on going back to the movie theater any time soon.

I almost thought there was no water fountain. Do not be mistaken.. ask the staff, there is one water fountain at the least ;) Theatre halls are huge, sitting too close to one side will hinder audio quality for you. Place is crowded and washrooms are a bit dirty. Seats are good and lean back. Very comfy in my opinion. I don't pay attention to food. It's overpriced as always.

I’ve been to two other theatres during the summer, this one does not follow covid protocol. Yesterday I watched a movie around 8 pm and despite how we booked off 7 seats in our row- there was a guy sitting only 1 seat away beside me. ALSO there were full rows in front and behind us whereas other theatres distanced at least 2 seats infront AND behind you. This theatre Seriously needs to be inspected

I typically have a normal experience at this location where the staff aren't overly friendly but don't necessarily disregard your existence. Last night we went to buy popcorn before our show time and Solange was an absolute pleasure to cash out with. She was super energetic despite being there at 11pm on a week night and really accommodating when we requested for extra flavours to top off our popcorn with (we love our ketchup!). I don't know where you found her but I would definitely try looking for more people like her to ensure each customer goes to their show feeling great.

Good movie theatre with lots of auditoriums. It's always packed and sometimes a bit rowdy, but it's the one I go to more often. Reserved seating is a nice extra feature. They also have good customer service. The couple of times that I've had a complaint I was given free passes to make up for the problem. There is also an arcade if you're interested in that, as well as a party room.

I visited this place couple of time in this month and observed people are sitting close to each other and they are not following the physical distance and staff members are not taking any step to make it happen and nobody cares at all. The sitting arrangement should be made by keeping in mind about physical distancing.

It's the perfect place for a movie theatre. The Cineplex is located in the center of the plaza, surrounded by resteraunts, loads of parking space and comes with a round about drop off for easy drop off/pick up of movie goers. Theatre is kept clean, movies are up to date, and also has a lot of options for kids birthday parties including arcade and party rooms. I have chosen this theatre to watch all my movies at(given I'm in the area) seeing how it is the closest, cleanest and biggest theatre around me.

Love this place! Big and spacious! Never a lineup to buy tickets when I go. Wish they still had the half-price Tuesday tickets. More tills need to be opened when there is a lineup for food. This process takes the longest especially when the customers cannot decide which combos they want. The pizza is really tasty!
