I typically go to this theater for the movies I wish to see. The upgrade they did about a year ago is nice. Like any theater prices for snacks are ridiculous, but that's the way it is. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The seats are comfortable.

I love the new seats! I'm very happy with the remodel and even the reserved seating. it makes for a fun and tailored experience and you get the seats that you want, rather than getting the seats that are just left over, so to speak. Now going back to those seats; they recline and the arm rest in the middle can be lifted up if you want to hold hands with that someone special. I like that there are fewer seats in each theater. I have yet to buy anything from the concession stand so I cannot speak to if the prices have changed since the remodel.

My new favorite theater! AMC has everything I look out for in a Cinema. Comfy recliner chairs and soft pretzel bites- plus, you get your money's worth in drinks. Got a regular cup and couldn't even finish it by the time the movie was over! I'll definitely be back, this time with friends and family.

Gotta love the recliners at AMC to see a movie. Don't love their prices unless you catch the 1st show of the day but that's most places. Doing tickets online allows you to pick your seat but get or borrow someone's stubs number to save the fees

After my first visit, I refuse to watch movies anywhere else. The seating is incredible and, due to the pricing, the patrons don't seem to act disruptively during movies. Obviously the food is insanely overpriced but that's every movie theatre. Overall, a fantastic experience every time I go.

The most comfortable local theatre for watching movies. They have huge reclining leather seats in groups of two; the middle arm rest can be retractes to turn two adjacent seats in to a defacto love seat. Perfect for date night!

Wow, this theater is a little pricey, but the seats area AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE and there is actually room to move around in the aisles. It's like watching a movie in your own viewing room (with about 80 other people around you, but still). It's so nice that it's worth the little bit extra to go there.

Luckily, a lady working there was able to fix it. Overall, great expiereince. When Spiderman No Way Home comes out, my family is definitely going to AMC.

I have tried to get a refund so I can re-order for the following day reservation in a private theater. It is not working! I can not get a hold of anyone anywhere in any way. Emails won’t go through, calls are a dead end, leading to a circular website option, that will not allow the refund. I spoke to Joe from Corporate and he basically was no help. Said no one else has ever had a problem, making me feel like I was doing something wrong. I screen shot the message on the refund page. It says I don’t have an account, but I have confirmation emails with the confirmation number 426809029. I get that it’s COVID19 and people work at home, but having things too techie isn’t the way, especially with these glitches. Sorry I’m just frustrated. Been trying on and off all day to get this worked out. This is my time, and it shouldn’t be spent trying to work through a system that seems to be so flawed. I’m fairly tech savvy and trust me I’ve tried all the options here. Lisa

The seating was very comfortable. Was someone with a bad back and problems with my leg it was nice to be able to put my leg up it was easy for me to walk afterwards. But the customer service in the place was not up to par. They were very rude. I have not been to the movies in quite some time the renovations was a shock to me and the sticker price was a bigger shock. It was to be expected because a change of times but the young men and women working there should have been a little bit nicer to people that have not been there in a while or older they expect you to jump up to technology that is not in your era. The place was very clean the seats were very comfortable but my customer service rating I would say very unkind and unnecessary and very rude.

Their popcorn has come a lonnnnnggggg way. I was in the mood for some delicious popcorn, and the University movie theater was closed, so me and my son grabbed some from the AMC on Maple, and I was shocked at how good it was..., lol

My favorite theater -- clean, spacious, and offers power reclining seats (!). Reserved seating means there is no jostling to find seating, and the online ticket option lets you bypass the ticket queue and go straight in. They have a good variety of show times and offer standard high-definition showings as well as 3-D screenings, which is great if you, like me, have family members who either can't see 3-D or suffer migraines from them.

The staff here are amazing. I broke my back during a snowboarding accident and shake a lot which then gives me anxiety trying to do normal things in life infront of people. I went to the consession stand and asked, very scared and shaky, if someone could help me get a drink and help take that and popcorn to my seat. The 2 guys I spoke with said no problem. One ran my card for me because I couldn't put it in the slot and the other gentleman filled my soda for me and brought my popcorn and soda to my seat with me. Thank you guys a lot for making my movie experience better. Means more than you know. You made a really embarrassing and anxious time in my life feel like I was fine and not judged.

Love the fact that you pick your seat when ordering tickets - allows for you to get there shortly before showing and have a great seat. The seats are big, reclining and comfy. Just be careful you don't fall asleep because seats are so comfy.

Solid theater has everything you could want, and not too busy. The seats with armrests that extend up for couples are a great idea but lack any padding, causing it to be uncomfortable at times

Who doesn't love the movies? They have the nice recliners here. We could hear the next movie over during ours. Also the screen wasn't adjusted when the movie started. I'm only knocking off one star as I've been here many times and these have never been issues before.

This location was the place to be about 8 years ago. Well it still is, but it no longer is the newly renovated theater. It's still clean, seats recline, organized and the customer service is great. What I would like to see here, that the AMC downtown Buffalo has is this. The recliners with the serving table, and a bar. Is that being petty? Probably..but I will still come here.

I went to this place with my friend to watch the Joker and I really liked the experience. My room was nice and clean and the seats were reclinable. The video and audio were high quality and the ticket only cost me $12. i would say that if you plan to go to the cinema it would be worth to take a look at this one

They had nice chairs and standard high quality everything. They need to improve on one thing. Sound proofing. I was in theater 5 and could hear the booms and low bass from the next door theater. It didn't totally ruin the experience but needs fixed. It was noticable because I was watching a quiet movie New Mutants. Otherwise it was fine.

The seats are excellent. They have the are rest that goes up to give you more room. The seats recline back and you get to pick your own seats. The down fall is there is not a large movie selection at this theater, and the movies do not stay up for very long. The do serve a large variety of food options. Unfortunately very few if any vegan options.

I love this theatre I always go there when I wanna see a movie. The lines are sorta weird because they have a line for normal people then another line for members and sometimes the members one is longer so I don't know which line to use. I saw a star is born last week and bought cheese for my popcorn but the cheese tasted sorta weird. Don't maybe it was old or something. I don't really care tho the seats are comfy so 5 stars and all.

Their chairs are comfy but their popcorn is gross now and the manager was kinda rude when I asked if people who use wheelchairs and can't sit in their chairs get discounts.

The new look and feel they have given the theater have really made it an experience, even when you are leaned back, people don't get in your way in front of you. Although walking through the aisles when people are lying down can be annoying if they don't move their feet to let you by. The seats are really comfortable, with movable armrests on pairs of chairs to hold someone comfortably. Just be careful not to fall asleep. :P

This AMC theater is my usual go to, however this time my experience wasn't so great. The reclining function for both of the seats I purchased was not working, luckily there were two unsold seats next to us so we hopped over to them. Aside from the seat issue the theater was totally trashed, i saw the 12pm viewing of Avengers End Game, and it looked as if it was a busy Friday evening at thier busiest time. I was not expecting the experience I had.

My favorite theaters these days are AMC. Quality theater with good benefits and deals for members. A+ There is an app that allows you to order to your seat and reservations to buy ahead of time. There is a full bar and they do great bartending. Could not be any happier with this business ☺️

Clean establishment, friendly and helpful staff. The only thing that's difficult for shorter people like myself is that if someone DOESN'T recline their seat I may have trouble seeing the whole screen. It's not the theater's fault but it may deter others from returning.

I love the recliner seats, self serve butter for popcorn, and fancy drink machines. Sneaking in snacks isn't worth it when they offer such great stuff. I actually think it's worth the extra money to buy snacks there.

My favorite theater to experience movies! Comfy reclining seats and pick your seat before you arrive are top reasons why I choose this theater. Good variety at the concession stand including a beverage station where you can mix your favorite non alcoholic beverages. My daughter likes to add vanilla flavoring to her root beer.

Having a theater nearby your house is always a blessing, on top of that they do have significant amount of screens so there are always good movies running. Seating is also good, well maintained AMC. I do enjoy their snacks as well.

It's a great movie theater but you have to buy tickets before going or you'll end up in the seats right in front of the screen. Ther chairs recline which is awesome! Oh, and they don't answer their phone. We had a question about gift certificates we got and couldn't get a hold if anyone to figure out how to use them there and had to go to the Regal.

Love this movie theater and its reclinable seats! Great to go for a date since you can lay down and be pretty close to the other person. Image and sound quality is the same as any other cinemas out there so the only plus plus plus this one has is the seats.

Just watched the 6:30 Cinderella. Which we showed up for at 6:25. Granted, we purchased tickets at 11:30 online and picked our seats then. We need not worry about having a seat or whether we'd have to split the group up. Speaking of seats, these are amazingly comfortable recliners with plenty of room. And they're paired! So, if you like, you can lift the arm rest between 2 (the online seating chart makes it pretty clear where the pairs are located) so you can get up close and personal. Its a great, affordable, and comfortable theatre you'll feel like your watching in the comfort of your own living room. And remember, holding hands is optional... But you wont be able to resist.

I love this theater. Very comfortable, you can recline your seat, relax and enjoy, but they really need to clean the carpets in the hallways or something because it smells horrible. Other than that, it's my go-to movie theater. I love it.

Seats not as comfortable as regal i would say. You need to choose your seats wisely and in advance so that you don't end up seeing someone's head for a whole movie. Their AMC stubs app is horrible. But they are the only ones with movie subscription service, so can't complain much.

Absolutely by far my favorite movie theater. It's so comfortable and as a person with a few herniated disks that is worth everything. They're also really spacious seats and make for good movie cuddling. My only issue is that if you're seeing a quieter movie and the movie adjacent to you is not you're going to get some sound from that movie reverberating through the walls.

This is a really nice theater. The reclining seats are quite comfortable. My two biggest problems here are the cost of tickets and the reserved seating. Yeah, it's nice to pick and guarantee your seats, but not everyone wants to get their tickets beforehand, and if you're with multiple people, you may not be able to all sit together. They do have one of those fancy drink dispensers that lets you pick out of a LOT of different flavors.

I love the reclining seats. Seats are built as pairs with individual recliner controls. The ability to raise the armrest in the middle allows couples and parents with kids to snuggle. Especially during the scary parts of movies.

the staff is helpful and friendly. A bit more expensive than other theaters in the area. Theater is clean. Stadium like seating is poorly setup. Each row is separated by a single step in height, which is not enough, especially if you have younger kings. They will have a problem seeing over the seat in front of them and will have a real problem if an adult is sitting in that seat. Other theaters have about 3 steps between rows, so the row in front our you is never an issue.

It's... A movie theater. They've got recliner couch things. Like 2 person mechanized bench recliners. They're not the best, not the worst. Concessions are a disaster but that's everywhere always. It was clean, the movie played on time, Tuesday has a solid discount on tickets. I'll keep going. Good stuff.

The popcorn is good, the free stuff is fun from the stubs list or something. Although, last time I was there, they forgot to dim the lights for the movie and they did it 20 minutes in. The staff isn't the best in all honesty.

I've been going to the AMC for years and have always enjoyed the theater. It is an updated theater so it has the nice recliner seats. There is limited seating which you need to select so be sure there are still seats before going.

Had not gone to the movies in over a year because of the pandemic. It was great returning. The theatre was clean and the quality of movie was nice. The only negative was that I had bought my tickets online to avoid waiting in line but I still had to. I was hoping to just walk through.

Upon entering, they force customers to take off their own masks and don poor quality paper masks. Bizarre. They refuse cash payment, unless you insist, at which point they make you buy a gift card with cash, then pay again from the gift card. Weird. One employee was nice and apologetic about the strange policies, but the manager intruded and was just rude. I run a film series in a good, independent cinema, and this is no way to attract customers back to theaters. If not for fear of dissappointing our children, whom we had promised the show, we would have left. The manager went out of his way to make it clear he did not care about his customers. Ok, this young family will not be going back.

Very clean, warm, and welcoming theater with large & comfy recliners. The prices are also reasonable with convenient ticket kiosks, a counter for one-to-one service, or the option to reserve a set online. This theater also has portable captioning devices, which are a little awkward to position, but are readily available and easy to use.

Favor date night destination. Just watch the dates on your tickets especially if you’re ordering in advance. We had a slight mixup but staff corrected it promptly and no harm no foul.. and get the Carmel corn!!!

Comfy reclining chairs and every 2 has an armrest you can lift up so nice for laying back and snuggling/cuddling your girl/guy on a date while you watch the movie. Its like you're at home on a couch with a massive screen. Also they have good food options. Their mac and cheese, mac bites, and chicken fingers are as good as most diners/american restaurants. They're rewards program really saves and constantly gives you rewards. Their A list program allows you to get 1 ticket to up to 3 movies a week. However if you see 2 a month you break even and every movie you see after 2 movies is free. Definitely best theater in terms of seats, concessions, and rewards/subscription programs. Much better than Regal which I will never go to again. Its hard to go there after going to AMC. People never take the seats in front row unless completely sold out so my fiance and I can always get the same front 2 middle seats even when show is 90% sold out. When you recline back and have no one in front of you its like having your own personal giant movie screen we lay back snuggle and enjoy the movie. ;-)

This theatre's is great. They have amazing reclining seats which if you arrive late can be very annoying for those in the seats and those tying to get to there seat. They have the coke machine that you make your own flavor and it is very clean. They did marvelous job updating.

They accept movie tickets from atom. the seats are reasonably clean and very comfortable, with the option to lean back all the room. There is lots of legroom. The only complaint is that you can sometimes hear sounds from the opposite theatre when your film gets to a quiet point.

Prior to COVID, the experience was always 5 stars. The 3 stars is due to cleanliness. The floors and bathroom (ladies) were atrocious. I believe it is strictly due to the staffing shortage, which will hopefully abate before the year 2100. I blame NYS much more than AMC, due to the ever increasing Communist attitude towards businesses!

Good movie selections. Sign up for a AMC card to get the Tuesday special for movies and popcorn. Reclining seats. Handicap area seating. Pop machine with you choice of beverages to fill your cup. Butter machine so you get to choose how much you want to put on your popcorn.

Who the hell decided cardboard for straws was a smart idea!!??? I’ll be bringing in my own straws next time . And there needs to be an age limit! No kid younger than 3 aloud in ! Though that’s on the parents but a lot of parents aren’t very smart ! 1 or 2 year old in a 2 and a half hour movie crying and yelling the last half !

The reclining chairs are wonderful for viewing movies. It is always clean and organized. If you are part of the Stubs Premium club, you can have free upgrades on popcorn and other goods at concessions. There is also an exclusive line for Stubs members. If you have a Stubs card, you can also avoid booking fees online.

So I went to see the movie Jungle Cruise with my family of 5. We spent almost $100 on snacks one being pretzel bites. I was served them half warm half cold like refrigerator cold. I go back to the counter and kindly ask if they can be reheated. A sweet girl says sure let me ask. A man was in charge of the ovens told her no he had too many orders. She brings them back to relay the message embarrassed says she's sorry. My response was so im supposed to eat them cold? She goes I can give you a refund? I did not choose that option because my kids will still eat them but it's the principle that bothers me. I'm a paying customer too I don't care how many orders you have...pretzel bites are to be served WARM. HOW RUDE! Im from Grand island and we drive all the way here as it's our favorite theater so I guess we will take our money elsewhere as this could have been handled a few different ways but this boy didn't seems to lack customer service skills.

Just paid 90 bucks to take my kids here and this guy over to the left of us keeps switching seats and talking on his phone and texting people. Went out to get my free refill of popcorn and the guy very rudely says they are closed. Men's room also had pee all over the floor.

This place was a dump before the remodel a couple years back. Now it's become absolutely the best place to watch a movie in WNY! The recliners are huge and comfortable, with great sight lines wherever you sit. The place fills up quickly for the latest movies, but it's easy to reserve seats days in advance - no need to show up half an hour early to get a good seat. Concession prices are high, but you can get some discounts/rewards with a Stubs Premiere card. Popcorn is tasty, and you can butter it yourself. Coke Freestyle machine is a plus. Even though the Regal is upgrading their theaters with recliners, the ones at the AMC are bigger and better. My theater of choice, even though it's 15 minutes farther away than the Regal.

Terrible over booked tickets the con mycession food was dreadful, popcorn was stale no salt or butter even though I asked as well as the person went towards the machine it looked like they did something yet I ate about two handfuls, I got pretzel bites with cinnamon for my 13 year old omg chewy and I have no idea where the cinnamon was. I'd honestly never go there again. If it wasn't for him wanting to see venom on the weekend it came out. I would have waited until there were seats available at the galleria Mall!

Great place to visit. Creating a stubs account (which is free and takes no more than 5 minutes online) lets you watch movies for $5 on Tuesdays! The recliner chairs are comfortable and makes for an overall enjoyable experience.

The tickets are pricey but it is a nice place. The seats are really nice. Clean environment. Bathrooms are clean. Though seems like there are not enough urinals. Food is pricey too, you think I wouldn't have to pay a million dollars for some pop that cost them 50 cents.
