So glad we were able to be at the Capital tonight for the long overdue show of Alan Doyle and band. The Capital didn’t disappoint, she was in fine form and the sound was amazing.

Great acoustics, uncomfortable seats with little legroom. The restoration of the theatre decided to take it back to original with the original sized seating plan. Yuck. Lobby is too small for the size of the crowd at a sold out show so plan on being jostled and bumped around. Pack a lunch if you want a drink from the bar... it takes forever.

One of the greatest theatres around, the staff is friendly and very helpful, you are seated with curiosity, comfortable seating and good views of the stage from every seat, a must when you're in Moncton or nearby check website for upcoming events and enjoy a show or 2 maybe more, with places to eat within walking distance :-)

We went to the Capital Theater to see Glass Tiger. Venue is beautiful. The sound quality was great. We where seates in the lower section just 4 rows back from the stage. Awesome Seats aee comfortable. Will do it again.

Beautiful looking theatre, amenities are starting to be upgraded. Would be nice to see some local beers there rather than just Molson products. Seats are old and super close together so my 6'1 frame was pretty cramped by the end of the show. We watched the Nikki Payne gala...and everything hurts from laughing so hard

Capitol Theatre is a wonderful venue, I come here as often as I can. The theatre is beautiful (older style, very elaborate), they host a wide variety of shows, and prices are reasonable.

This is a nice theater. Also clean and wide. But, if I am sitting at the second floor (balcony) it is kinda hard to see the screen. Also the sound is really loud and nice, but the bass was too much. It kinda hurts my ear.

Went here for a New Brunswick Symphony Orchestra performance and really enjoyed the venue. Most such concerts I've attended at much bigger venues in Toronto, Vancouver, London, Vienna, etc. I found the smaller venue of the Capitol really helped improve the sound quality. They also did a nice job renovating the foyer and were displaying some pretty nice artwork.

It felt good to get out in this time of pandemic and containment even if you have to follow strict hygiene rules. The Capitol staff should have been tougher on the few onlookers who didn't follow the rules. (Original) Participation au spectacle de Noël des Gars de Nord. Ce spectacle était en temps de pandémie avec des évidemment des règles à suivre. Un excellent spectacle. Ça faisait du bien de sortir en ce temps de pandémie et de confinement même s'il faut suivre des règles d'hygiène strictes. Le personnel du Capitol aurait dû être plus sévère pour les quelques spectateurs qui ne suivait pas les règles.

A great place to catch a show. Seating is a little on the stiff side, and the upstairs seating can feel a little steep and overwhelming to navigate; however, the sound and visuals makes up for this and more. Everything from indie shows to big name artists can be found here. After the recent renovation, it is exceptionally clean and modernized with a high level of class.

One of the most amazing venues in the entire city for live music and live performance of any variety. I can't say enough about it. Getting to sit in such an aesthetically and acoustically beautiful room was a pleasure. My only complaint, if I ever would have one, is that I wish they would use the room on off-nights to perhaps promote some more local New Brunswick/Moncton-based talent.

The Capitol theatre is such a classy place to see any type of show. I find that even if I am only moderately interested in an artist I always love their performance at the Capitol. The volunteers are nice and helpful. I was at a show lately and they had closed the bar so people could keep their masks on at all times. It made me feel much more safe.

The Capitol is a fantastic place to see live entertainment of any kind. Whether it is a play, live comedy or a live music act you will not be disappointed with the venue. Excellent views form everywhere and close enough from all seats in the house to really appreciate the show you are watching. We were there to see The Musical Box - a Genesis cover band - who were spectacular! This is a perfect example of the type of quality entertainment the Capitol Theatre brings on a regular basis. Highly recommend checking out their lineup and take the time to visit.

We went to see Jason Cyrus. It was a last minute decision. We were in Moncton for our annual mom aand daughters weekend. When we drive by seeing the lights flashing. Decided to go back to see if tickets were still available. We we way up almost to the top. Seats are very close together and there was two big men in front of me. When they sat in there seats there seats pushed back digging into my leg. But other than that the theatre staff was amazing and theatre was beautiful. Next time i would make sure i had closer seats. But thats our fault..

Brand new renovation in the entrance and public areas. Very nice looking, clean and modern. The theater room is on par with the best looking show rooms in Eastern Canada. Built in the tradition of grand theaters, great sound and great views from pretty much anywhere you sit down. Balcony is steep but close to the stage.

A very nice place with lots of character! Recently modified, sports a lovely bar/snack area, main seating, balcony space and little alcoves. Wide passages in between seats making it accessible to a walker or a wheelchair.
