They need to re-calibrate the projector! Clean facilities and descent selection of movies. The issue is the screen is so dim that it's hard to see even bright scenes. I've gone twice now in the last two months and both times I left disappointed, not in the movie but the projection itself.

DO NOT GET PRIORITY SEATING. I mean aside from the usual gripe of food prices, this is a very good and clean theater. Unfortunately, every Cineplex or Galaxy is different, and with the new seating coming to cinemas far and while this particular cinema falls short as the "priority seating" is quite uncomfortable. The pleather material is fine and the shape of the seating is fine, but the reclining action is spring loaded and these springs are wound so tight is hard to recline them, even for a big guy like me. Even if you manage to get the seat to where you want it does stay as the spring rockets you forward and not to mention lack of leg room when the seat are reclined, you hit the person behind you in the knees. These particular theaters were not built with these new reclining seat in mind and they really shouldn't have been added. Other than that the cinema sure to make you have a good time.

This theater has definitely been going downhill the last couple years. They never bring in the good scary movies, they will leave the same movies in for over a month. Seem to always be short staffed and the equipment have been messing up more frequently. Not impressed at all.

First off the voicemail is horrendously fast I cannot understand one word that guy is saying. Also i’m sure this isn’t Moose Jaw galaxy’s fault but every theatre needs to lower their prices if they want people to keep coming because it’s a joke how expensive it is. I'm from Alberta and we come to Moose Jaw 4 times a year. I won't waste my money in Alberta but we go to this theatre every time and it's worth the cost for seating. Food, typical over priced

Prime seating is really the only way to go. Even then, it's easy to get your seat kicked. It's a typical movie theatre experience.

This is a great movie theatre to come to. The theatres are normal sized compared to other galaxy cinemas in other cities that I've been to. The staff has always been great to deal with at concession purchasing tickets and food. It seems like they tend the keep the theatres pretty clean even with such short times in between showings. The bathrooms have always been fairly clean as well. We love to play the claw game here too whenever we have a couple extra loonies in our pockets

Generally friendly and helpful staff. Cleanliness depends on how busy they are, which is not uncommon for all cinema’s. The cinema is cold, so I would suggest you take a light sweater or “bunny hug” if you get cold easily. The concessions are pricy but this is not unique to this location. Never had old popcorn but I have also not been to the first show of the day though, so I couldn’t say if they re-use popcorn left over from the night before. Watch out for ice at the front door in the winter.

Galaxy Cinemas Moose Jaw has six cinemas that are comfortable and convince with good images and sounds. Some chairs are broken and marked with yellow tape. When I came to the cinema, the screens indicating the movies and their schedules didn't work at all. Staff was very helpful to guide me and present the films and schedules patiently.

Honestly use to go to movies on a regular basis, but there has been not visible upkeep or maintenance done to the place in years, prices have gone up, portions reduced and no refills on drinks/popcorn anymore (cheapest items cost wise and most expensive to buy). Sound periodically crackles, and when theatre is packed barely turn on the A/C so it gets uncomfortable in the theatres.

I still enjoy going to the movies here and remember when it opened. Prime seats rows are nice addition but it would be nice if they updated ie) full selection prime or VIP seating like some of the other theaters. I dont mind standing in line for some shows but I really like the convenience of showing up 5 mins to show time and know where I'm going to sit but prime usually sells out fast for big name movies.

Service always seem to be very slow. I'm not sure of it's just the area or a sign of the times. It took us 40min to get our movie tickets and snacks, this theatre always seems to be understaffed. Do your self a favour and preorder your tickets online and skip the popcorn line. Otherwise the facility is clean, the staff are friendly and the movies are good.

Price is ok but the seats are very hard for me to sit in for long as I'm disabled and in chronic pain and they make it worse. But there is a good concession stand and some games. Do not trust the machine to get tickets though, it's been tampered with several times. Good selection of movies most times and ample parking.

It's Moose Jaw's only theater. It's actually not too bad. We don't get any rocking or reclining seats here and the concessions are pretty basic...and of course not cheap. The covid-19 rules are being informed and we never felt threatened at all. They block off seats all around you. He screens and sound are very good.

Horribly managed and run. We went there to see Frozen 2, we played games and before buying tickets the power went out. No big deal it happens. So we sat there in the dark waiting. The manager never made any announcements he instead just looked at us. People walked in the door during the blackout and none of them got any announcement of what was happening so we continued to sit. The manager finally spoke and told us we had to evacuate the theatre. We left and drive off and the 2 minutes later the power came back on so we went back. The computers would not reboot...we waited there for 45 minutes and still the computers would not turn on and once again no communication from anyone so once again us and 15 other people sat there confused. What a disaster!!!!!

"Premium" seating is NOT worth the extra cost and the regular seats (mostly broken in some way or another) still haven't been upgraded to reclining (like the amazing ones at Cineplex in the Southland Mall - Regina).

The power went out last night as my wife and I were in a movie. We weren't told right away about the issue, but I think it had to do with just being one manager working who was getting everyone free passes to come back. The manager seemed to genuinely feel bad about the situation, and tried to deal with it the best way he could. The staff at this place are very friendly, courteous, and helpful. Despite all that went wrong, we will be back again.

Galaxy cinema in moose jaw is a great place to go with friends and family. Always have new release movies. The one thing I dont like about it is you have to get your movie tickets at the concession. Unfortunately most theaters that I know are going that way. It's a way for them to cut costs by hiring less staff. When you do that it eliminates customer service. Unfortunately theaters are not the only ones goj v in that direction

It's a nice theater,only complaint is along with showing the government required Vax card or QR this place wants your driver's license info? There's nothing in the sask Vax ID mandate authorizing businesses to collect this information. Won't return here untie there's a policy change.

Unfortunately, we missed the first 15 minutes of our movie because they were short staffed (we waited in line for 45 minutes). I feel that as we pay quite a high price to go see a movie in the theatre, at the very least they should schedule an appropriate amount of staff (it was a matinee on a stat holiday, definitely requiring more than one counter person plus one manager). Not impressed.

The computer systems at the front would not take our scene points for the movie so we had to go to the counter for staff to help. They said the machines never work. If it is known then they should be fixed as I imagine on a busy day that can overwhelm staff. The seats are decent but not new and roomy like other theaters from the same company. The staff were helpful and polite and the theater was quiet so we really enjoyed the movie. The theater was clean and looked to be taken care of. We will return.

Looked online a couple times and it showed that Rocketman was playing at 9:00, but when we got to the theatre they said it only played the earlier shows. Why were kids shows playing at the late times and this one wasn't? Doesn't make much sense to me..

My first time going to a movie since COVID 19. The staff was very friendly and all of the surfaces appeared very clean. I kept my mask on for my own peace of mind but their protocols were easy to follow and seemed adequate. I'm going again very soon!

Movies and seats are great .. When i went to purchase tokens at counter they said use the token machine ( which was out of order due to covid until recently) it only takes cash... And then there was no ATM... So i used the tokens we had... All the video machine ate the tokens... Air hockey was only one that worked.. But my son is 6 and cant really reach. So I was out 10 bucks and my kid was very disappointed and sad... So i said i would buy him a treat.. I paid 6 dollars for very stale sour patch kids... Boooooo
