Amazing experience, holy smokes this place is pretty amazing ngl. The thing that sucks are the lines but I mean that's guaranteed when ya go to a place like this. Also another good thing is you no longer have to wear your masks at the park. All in all I had great time....even if the food and drinks cost an arm and a leg

I took my daughter and her friends yesterday to Darien Lake to celebrate her birthday. We were very disappointed that many of the larger rides and park eateries were closed. There were no shows/performances in the park that we have previously enjoyed. It was a very disappointing experience from prior visits. We paid full price for tickets for less than a full experience. I would have appreciated having information available on the website on what rides and amenities would not be available so we could have made an informed decision.

I love going to six flags. My sister came up from S.C. to visit last week. We wanted to ride the superman. We waited in line for 2 hours to ride. We were next in line when they said the ride was closed due to mechanical issues. It was closed for the rest of the day. Very disappointed. An adventure park should make sure the best ride in the park is working properly.

do not waste your time with the park or fright fest! just went back yesterday for the first time in a few years. park is so understaffed the landscaping looks like trash, the bathrooms are nasty, almost everything in the park is closed. maybe running 30% of the rides. not worth it at all go to your local carnival instead there will be more to do! DO NOT BRING your kids! every single kid oriented ride is closed, they will have nothing to do. also tried to attend fright fest staff was so short there were only 2-4 employees/scare monsters in each house the kids didn't even jump once as the houses were extremely low quality and not scary whatsoever to anyone.do not waste your money. I would have given the park 5* a few years ago. now I will never return.

This was our 4th year going to FrightFest and it was a huge disappointment. Other than the roller coasters, which my kids don't ride, there was a total of 3 rides open in the park (and a few kiddie ones.) On a holiday weekend. When the park is crowded, this makes the lines very long. My tweens got to ride 4 rides in the 6 hours we were there. The "zombie horde" released at 6 pm consisted of 6 actors. Even ice cream took 40 minutes. We don't mind expensive outings when we actually receive something for our money, but to pay $150 for a family of 4 to ride 4 rides is outrageous. I understand that Darien Lake and everywhere is suffering a labor shortage, which is not the company's fault. What is their fault is not taking steps to make it right, such as making customers aware of the situation up front and discounting tickets. Shame on you Darien Lake. We definitely won't be back next year.

A good park with some good rides. Tickets are OK priced but food inside is overpriced. Suggest to carry some food from home or outside. The water rides and the pool are good. The overly presence of lifeguard is good but can be annoying at times. If there are more than 7 folks from a family, I would recommend to stay overnight and visit the park. The RV camp grounds can be rented for a night which gives access to the park for 2 days and covers the entry ticket costs.

I went to Darien Lake Amphitheater for the first visit there. Dead and Company were playing there. It was a decent place for a concert. I thought the venue was very tolerant of the circus in town and that is a good thing. Easy in and easy out. I recommend.

Almost all rides were open but we were there from 2pm to 7pm and only got to do 4 rides because lines are over an hour wait due to their new fast pass nonsense. People can buy fast passes and skip the line and so everyone else has to wait. The fast passes take up huge amounts of turns on the line. I purchased a season pass so I have paid money to be there also and I'm not paying more for a fast pass. I simply won't buy a season pass ever again. Not impressed with this

The Christmas light show is one of the coolest things they have besides fright fest ! Highly recommend taking everyone and check it out.! We love the updates the six flag darien lake have put into place. A few kinks to work out but still a great family place.

The park was not too crowded during the week when we went. We did have to wait in line to go through security for about 45 mins, so plan for that. Unfortunately, easily around 25% of the rides were not running. The weather was mostly sunny ???? and 82 degrees, so weather was not the issue. This was disappointing for the children who were very much looking forward to some of their favorite rides. After speaking with a few ride attendants, the general consensus was that there weren't enough staff hired (or applications) in order to fully operate all of the rides, so they rotate which of the rides won't be running from day to day. The water area was packed and all were having fun. All in all, it was a great time and we would still go back given the current conditions. We hope that as the season goes on, that more staff will be hired to open all rides.

Got season passes because my girlfriend and I really enjoy roller coasters. First trip was depressing. At least 1 hour waits per ride. No masks or social distancing if vaccinated, so that was nice. However, they have a policy of one party per car, meaning that a lone rider takes up 4 seats. Only 4 thrill rides open the first trip, this trip only 3. It is busy but if they opened up all of their thrill rides, lines would be much better. I know it has been years since they have done two trains per thrill ride, but they should really bring it back. Cedar Point runs up to 4 per ride to keep it going quickly. I assume that these policies are in place because of state regulations and a lack of staffing, but offer more pay per hour and get staffing to open more rides, or drop the price to 10 dollars a ticket. Not worth the trip for the current price. I waited to write this review one month because I thought maybe some regulations would be relaxed and staffing issues fixed, but clearly not so it goes up. Will update in July if its any better.

The place is great. Clean fun and lots of awesome staffs. The lines do get pretty long but every ride is worth the wait. I especially love the water rides. The only I wish is that they’d have better food choice. But other than that it’s a wonderful experience for the whole family. Oh and before I forget you’re kids gotta be of certain hight to go on a few of the rides.
