As you can read, it reaches an feddbacks average is good, and it is founded on a very large number of opinions, so we may say that the valuation is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to write feddbacks when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Movie Theater belongs to the category of Movie theater.
Great location to watch a movie. As usual consessions are over priced
Always a nice theatre. AVX is awesome. Well kept
The biggest issue is that they don't have reserved seating for every showing. AVX is good but they really favor 3D which is not a good experience.
Good Theatre, but the food is rediculously priced, as to be expected I suppose.
very clean, my son loves the xescape there. The only issue is sometimes some of their arcardes are broken but they keep running them.
Great theater!!! Reclining seats????????
They follow all the health and safety protocols. Place is clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Seats are comfortable.
Not a great movie going experience. Better seats at other venues, premium seats that are supposed to enhance the experience did the opposite and distracted cause they just randomly moved. Didn't get any concession, so unable to say how the soft drinks and popcorn were. Movie was great though, even with the distraction. If you are also concerned with covid and mask wearing, once people were seated, all the masks went off for the entirety of the movie.
It's a horrible place to go the screen is blurry the is disgusting but still extremely expensive( 2 med drinks $18)
80% of the time everything is great. 20% I find myself trying to watch a movie with blown speakers in the theater. Loud is great, but only if you know what you're limits are.
Very bad seat's and cost way to much...But the movie was great...
Love going to the movies! And this is a great place to see your Fab movies
It's 24 min since the start time of the movie and it's still doing ads and previews...seriously?? See pic of ad now 26 min after start time.
Always great. There was popcorn on my seat from the previous movie that I had to brush off, and during a previous time my fiance was able to leave the theatre for something we had forgotten and was not asked to show his ticket again when he returned. Despite those, it's always a good experience going.
Will probably always be my favorite theater. Very clean and everyone is very respectful.
Neat and clean area, perfect for family time.
Not bad similar with Scotia bank theater by polo park a little bit far from me but it's a different setting so not bad
Nice to have the theater in the mall, the staff is friendly, but the seats could be better
old clunky dirty and under staffed. much prefer Landmark. only went here for Avengers
Always fun to play time play before the movie ????
Thrilling and adventurous place. Definitely a huge reccomend.
Seats were good, so was movie, Venom! Popcorn not so good. Landmark Cinema Popcorn surpasses.
haven't seen a movie for years. not sure why it says I visited the place.
Great to be back in theaters again! We got carded at the door for our vaccine QR codes. Facilities were very clean and staff super friendly.
Good movie theater, big premises, decent food, big parking lot. Not crowded at all.
A good theater to be sure, but my gripe would be the over reliance on automation at the kiosks, and the value from the concessions. Otherwise the staff were attentive and friendly, parking wasn't horrible considering it was peak holiday season when we went. The theaters themselves were clean, chairs were comfortable.
My favourite place to come for movies! Convenient kiosks for purchasing tickets and snacks, clean theatres, and wonderful staff.
No social distancing in the theatre at all. They are seating people right next to eachother.
Nice & accessible place. Lots of parking space, nearby St. Vital Mall & Walmart.
Only UltraAVX theatre in Winnipeg. The regular screens are a decent size as well. Don't mind going to this location. If you are a Costco Member, don't forget to buy your Movie passes from them first to save a couple bucks.
Overpriced,no refills like some other theaters and everyone likes to play on their phones during the movies not a great place to see a movie.Cashiers might wanna smile while they serve you looks like your bugging them by asking questions.
Too bad they're closed for over a year now. Can't wait to go back.
Better than the polo park location, cleaner and just more parking in general. Staff are friendly and seats in the theatre are clean and comfy. Would recommend this location if you can pick.
You have to watch a movie in the VIP theatre totally recommend it!
45 minutes of pre-show previews. Good God, there has to be a limit to this BS. And they all have the 100 decibel "Braaam", Distortion booms, stutter downers etc. At least tell us what time the actual movie will start, so we can skip this misery.
We get to watch movies again. Staff were great.
Ended up with a Dbox seat in a movie that didn't require it when I bought my tickets online, seats should be marked as Dbox when selecting on the site, Dbox seats do not recline & are actually kind of uncomfortable. FYI for anyone purchasing online before the movie.
We have always enjoyed this theatre, offers the newest releases and seats are always clean. Love using the AVX theatres, this allows you to book your seats ahead of time so no line up. The sound quality is great and for the right movie D-box is worth the money.
One of the biggest movie spots in Winnipeg. Overpriced popcorn and drinks.
Great to go see Atmos films there. The AVX theatre is the only reason I go. Though they need to replace the AVX seats, as they are very worn.
Awesome place to watch movies! The auditoriums, and seats are bit dated already but still enjoyable!
Great experience but missed the big comfy chairs from other theatres.
The only theater with a "proper" arcade style area. Lots of fun. Though I find the food concession is always busy and sometimes quite slow.
Great Silver City location. Wicked huge arcade. IMAX is nice an big, not as good as the POLO Park Silvery City... but cleaner, less bed bugs.
Their canteen closes before the last movies are finished
They have good quality and movies there
Excellent service and pleasant staff during a very difficult time. Was nice to be back after 2yrs. There was very few people in the actual theatre so we didn't get to see how they would have social distanced.
Not as good as polo park's but still a great place
Seats could get updated. Otherwise good sound and screen.
Don't go very often, but had a nice evening out to see a great movie. Arm rests on my seat and one others were broken, hoping they're aware and are in the process of fixing.
Always a solid experience. Although it would be great if the had more people working the registers during the busy times, all hands on. Otherwise the experience I have coming there nearly every week is always nice and consistent.
Back to the Movies! Yay! We needed photo ID and our immunization code to enter theatre that was good. Forgot how expensive movies can be. We watched Malignant in Theatre 4. I found the theatre decent but needed a good cleaning. Seats were dirty. Could of used a wiping and a sweep..lol. They spaced ppl out so we were 6 ft apart...nice!. Enjoyed the movie, was nice to be back. Staff were very friendly. 3/5
This is a good place, nice staff and awesome service
Slowly going downhill. Seats are no longer the best. Movie selection is still good! Customer service is seriously lacking
Good. You choose your seat(s) at the prompt when purchasing your tickets or at the concession stand.
Always has helpful, friendly staff. Could be cleaned more thoroughly and frequently at busy times, but clean overall.
Great place for movies on this side of the city
My favourite place to come for movies! Convenient kiosks for purchasing tickets and snacks, clean theatres, and wonderful staff.
It's a wonderful place to go for family outing
Tuesday evening, very empty. Skeleton crew working. Service was good; I asked the ticket taker how to use my scene card and join the pre-movie quiz and was answered. I don't know if it's just me, but the movie always seems out of focus when I go here.
Besides the fact that the theater is always messy it's great fun to go anyways
Good screens, astronomical prices. And they keep going up, even recently the prices went up. They are also all in on the 3d craze, to the point that it's impossible to see a movie in 2d after work. It's borderline discrimination against those of us that can't see 3d. It's a wonder they stay in business at all. Except for the biggest of movie releases, it's pretty quiet. 2017 November - Prices went up again, scene discount removed, timeplay rewards reduced, food prices went up, viewership is way down. Weirdly Grant Park is a better theatre now. Better prices, better seats, better drinks.
The theatre seats are very dirty on the frames. Quite Gross.
Much cleaner now
One of the best places to watch movies in the city
I like it there the only thing is that it would be good to have is be able to buy salads and vegetables with not just pop corn and chocolate. Just for ppl that like to eat healthy or are on a diet. Just an idea
Great cinema especially their ultraavx with really comfortable seats.
Went for an Xbox party and it was amazing!! A huge thank you to both the manager and our staff member assisting us!!! My kids had a great time and will be back for sure!!!
Not bad but disappointing about taking away Ticketmaster people
Went tonight with my friend, his partner, and my nephew to watch Bad Boys for Life. The movie was good, the only thing that kept thos from being a 5 star evening was half the games in Xscape were out of order Please send a maintenance crew and correct the issues
This is my favorite movie theatre in the city. There are some great options including AVX and D-Box theatres, as well as the traditional 2-D and 3-D screens. This theatre also shows some special events like live theatre shows and their Family Saturday movies and Most Wanted Monday films. The food selections are top notch and this location includes an "X-Scape" gaming arcade, which is tons of fun. For anyone looking for a night out, I highly recommend this movie theatre!
Nice theatres but food is quite overpriced.
Don't go very often, but had a nice evening out to see a great movie. Arm rests on my seat and one others were broken, hoping they're aware and are in the process of fixing.
If you have a gift card or want to 'cash in' scene points, go directly to the concession and deal with a human. The automated terminal won't do what you need. Oceans 8 was fun.
when people ask me about silver city st vital I have mixed emotions about the place. sometimes the pizza is dryer than a desert and sometime its like a damn grease swamp, but ya the place is great
Shows latest and good movies. The customer service is wonderful too.
Comfortable seats. Little to loud for me but probably ok for the younger people. Lol
Good Seats and good sound quality
Every time I go here the theaters are clean staff are helpful and friendly
It's good theater. Clean and maintained, at least whenever I visit. I visit at least twice a month. There is a lot of parking. The popcorn is always fresh, it could be because I go for shows in the morning or early afternoon. The staff is young but not all of them know to smile or greet but it never bothered me.
I love coming to the theaters here and I always have a good time at the movies. This cineplex and silver city in Polo park are the only ones I go to for movies. I live the hanging models they have from the ceiling but it sucks rhat there's only two left, there used to be more...
Good theatre to watch your favourite movie. No IMAX.
St. Vtial Cinemas is a great place to enjoy a movie in winnipeg with their Ultra AVX theatre. Had a fun time in the arcade and go there for all the new movies.
Went to see Wonder Woman and thoroughly enjoyed it. I've never had a bad experience at this theater. I always enjoy going there and look forward to my next visit.
The movie was wonderful, snacks went down without error, the bedbugs and bites found shortly after enjoying a film in theatre 02.. not so great. With the amount of bites found I can only assume that this cinema will either be condemned or perhaps it'll just crawl away all together. Pizza was 5/5.
Nice theatre, and I was surprised to learn they sell alcohol now.
Dirty. Staff seemed annoyed to work. Locked in after7 o'clock movie. Mall access denied, which is dumb. The mall should have security. Unless they wanna escort me to my car... Had to walk outside in the cold.
Theater is good i went to black panther 3D , the only disappointed thing is we got used 3D glasses which were unclear. I don't know exactly so we really get the used one or new :( . But movie viewing is good we can along with friends, family and couples for sure.
Love going to this place for movies, place is always clean and the food is good as well. The time play games they have before the movie starts are a fun thing to do while you wait and the rewards can be good to. Been going here since I was a kid and I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience there.
Comfortable seats anfd friendly service.
This is my main theater and for a good reason. The popcorn is always good and they have alot of seats whenever a new movie comes out.
Nice and small cinema. The surrounding environment is just nice, not too cold and not too hot. Staffs are nice. Toilet is clean.
Well for startes...no bed bug scares here lol
Very nice theatre, my number one choice when comes to watching a movie. Dbox seats available. They, however don't have many varieties of popcorn(no caramel etc.).
pizza was a bit dry but still good place and good screen and good sound
Good theatre, though avoid the front section. It's way too close and shouldn't be an option the view is so bad.
It's a good theatre and the best part is that it's right beside my house and there is also a mall connected with it.
Very dirty theatre. Not impressed since everything is expensive when you go here. This picture was taken before our movie. Very poor maintenance! Looks like someone took a poo on every seat. We missed all the pre show game because nothing was on the screen.
Great seats, they're super comfortable with arms that fold up to allow you to be more comfortable with your girlfriend, etc. The screens are great, sound is excellent and the concessions are about the same as everywhere else. They also accept scene points which is awesome.
A bit pricy but the movies look amazing!
I'm not a big fan of movie theater. The seats were not really comfortable and 3D glasses were a little bit greasy. (Butterpopcorn greasy) Otherwise the screen and sounds system was great!
This place is slowly going down hill. The theater chairs we were sitting in squeaked so badly that you did not dare recline on them. All soap dispensers were empty and toilet paper and paper towels were all over the place. It will be hard to convince the wife to return with me.
I appreciate the fact that they provide the 3D glasses and also provides the option to recycle them after use. This is a very environmentally sustainable policy. The availability of children-friendly gaming activities and food. Great customer service representatives
The theatre in my home town isn't nearly as big as this place, spacious seats, Huge screen! Cool arcade etc
Experience was good. Kids had fun. It's a bit expensive for a family of 6. We skipped food and drink for ourselves and let the kids get the kids pack each so it wasn't as expensive.
It's a great place to take my kids
The Matrix was good.
Most of the the games are out of order, staff at the counter so rude poor service will never go back.
Alita was the biggest, brightest.... In a dark dank crowd... Seats are strange... But the room... It does what you wood expect... Keeps u distracted just long enough to not complain about the seats.
Large theatre and friendly staff. Food selection is adequate and the arcade games are a nice touch.
This is a good place to see a movie. the facility isn't quite as nice as the cinemas in Grand Park with the recliners but we can't have those in every theater since it cuts down on the number of seats that you can have.
My only beef... The washrooms need to be better cleaned.
Bought tickets online with a gift certificate. Found the process very easy. Ticket was emailed to me. Didn't realize you had to go to the kaisio to get your actual ticket. Once I found out that step everything else went smoothly. Theatre was clean and comfortable. We had a very good experience overall.
Its a great experience working with whom is not that special smart people are crazy than me whos bobo
Good location but cinema hall had strong urine smell and not a lot of interesting snacking options. Again the smell...it could've been better sanitized or maybe no one should be pissing in the hall
Online ticketing does not clearly inform you that they require full vaccination for attendance. This is a clear and unacceptable fault in customer service.
As long as you have your vaccine passport it is all good
Fun games new ones from the last time I came here
Very busy location (maybe because of the mall and arcades)
Personally my favourite theatre in Winnipeg. AVX makes for a fun time especially the DBox seats. Really friendly staff & over all a nice environment
Had the time of my life... Loved the New Addams Family Movie!!!
Awesome. It's a good place to watch a 3d movie good food and great movie
They need a customer service agent to help with issues instead of having to wait in line at concession to ask a question. Also it's annoying that they leave the lights on during trailers now.
Sound and video were great but don't waste money on the D-Box seats. They were quite useless and distracting.
Went to stvitalmall, went to Meadowood big Guys. For chicken wings and a movietranslyvania vacation three.Amd of course video games!!!
Love the AVX theatre. Popcorn is a little dry. I'd rather go to Grant Park.
Sound and picture is always good and the theatre isn't too cold. I think the restrooms always look a little messy but other then that a typical big box theatre.
Fun place to take the kids but pricey popcorn.
A very nice theater with several movie options available.
Ant man & the wasp was great! Great popcorn great dbox seats, great times.
Several seats are broken in the premier therater.. Assigned seating..
Got a screener to suicide squad but the line up for it was not managed at all. The line cut across the middle of the theater, but it could have been a wpg thing.
USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-A) is hanging from the ceiling. Being a Star Trek fan, it was a great pleasure to see it.
Don't worry too much about Qr and Id match, you know what i mean ????, atleast for the night show????
Decided to go to see the new Mamma Mia movie at this theater and the facility is quite nice... Had some chicken fingers before the show and they were actually pretty good ... the barbecue sauce that was served with them was actually very tasty which was something I didn't expect from fast food. Unfortunately the movie kind of sucked but that's not the theaters fault!
Never Watched a movie here... (especally AVX) But the XSCAPE Area is AMAZING!
Buy your seats ahead of time or at a kiosk. Large snack area. Vidéo games and table games available.
Great place and awesome theatres but bathrooms are nasty. Arrive early for newer releases as service is slow. Have arrived to find people sitting in my assigned seating quite often.
Would have given a 5 star rating if someone would bother to chk if people have vaccine cards!!!
A great Cinema Theatre ! Ford versus Ferrari was excellent
Great AVX theatre here. Lots of food selection.
Pretty much my go-to theatre due to it’s location and abundance of showtimes.
Great theater could use an Imax here though
Nice experience but Popcorn and drink are expensive.
I like Silver City for many reasons: nice staff, real butter on the popcorn, good visuals/audio but I have realized lately that they seem to have a low budget for maintenance and repairs. (Perhaps low revenue during covid lockdowns?) I thought the toilets and sinks were clean in the women's washroom, but the washroom countertops were derelict (highly water damaged and the arborite was chipping away ALOT); The men's washroom had only one soap container and it was broken off the wall. Insdie the theatre, one arm on the seats was coming off... and I thought the chairs were quite worn and quite stained. The staff are clearly doing their best; but it's time for some upgrades... maybe executives can think about providing the usual/historical comfortable experience this year?
Very friendly and helpful staff Great seating, but understaffed for the amount of people it serves. Get there early to give yourself enough time for treats,at least a 1/2hr to 45 min. I recommend getting tickets online to avoid seat disappointment ,seats fill up very quickly especially for new releases. Bathrooms are too few for the amount of people it serves
Great place to go see movie obiously I find it's a little too spacious a lot of empty space but the theater in general does the job but I can say it can use improvement
The popcorn was meh, it tasted like burnt plastic. Drinks and movie quality is good.
Comfortable seats, good viewing angles, basically what you would expect at a Ciniplex these days. The food is still excessively priced for concession food, but there is a small fast food place that wasn't terribly priced. Overall, the experience was the standard ciniplex movie.
Foods expensive but movies tickets are reasonable as movie tickets get. Seats are okay and generally tidy.
Well worth it
Very good experience, although we were in the AVX and I nearly had sensory overload. So, If you're prone to sensory overload, don't go to AVX
Very good theatre. The concessions stand is one of the fastest in Winnipeg and this is easily the cleanest theatre in Winnipeg save for the one Kenaston.
Very dirty theatre. Great sound though!
Went to see Jurassic Park Fallen Kingdom. Staff super friendly!
Great theater, friendly staff. Ok food, and overpriced snacks
Cleaning is better but deep cleaning is still needed in those cup holders. Staff were friendly and i can still use my scene points. First time back and ill come again
Decent location, very professional staff. Been going to this location for years and dont have a huge issue with it. The areas are always clean, they have an entrance into the mall and there are access for food if you need a quick bite. Only issues come with other people watching movies, as it doesnt happen often but it does happen, where someone is being a bit inappropriate and not respecting others who are watching that the lack of staff presence inside theaters has been notice. I have seen staff do their rounds many times before but there have been incidents where I barely see anyone then it's usually someone telling the other person to shut it.
These people run a good theatre the staff is nice and caring. But the popcorn butter could be better ????
Theater was fine, but the popcorn was terrible. Have the bag was half popped. I would expect more for $9.
Theaters are going a little downhill. Ours smelled like old rotten water. The screen was black for all the fun pre movie games. There was garbage, popcorn, and liquids all over the theater floor. Was a little off putting.
Have good distancing policy and quick form filling app for Covid procedures.
Fun place, they have more stuffs now. They should put a sign where it says the tickets don't come out of the machines anymore. At least they can put a label or sign on the machines itself. Confusing!
I had high expectations for how the lobby looked, dirty movie theaters, very dirty rooms, pretty dirty bathrooms, poor quality for the price.
The best theatre on the east side of the city. Go to McGillivray VIP if you want the best experience. This theater is fine for the "Take your family to a movie"
Always a good time. They have done well with COVID protocols.
The facility is in need of a remodel. The carpet is looking worn and the seats could be a little roomier. Handrails are needed badly in the auditoriums. The picture and sound quality are great, though.
Decent cinema with great customer service and social distancing practices, all around a great experience before and throughout covid
One of my favorite theatres to go to. Always clean and staff is helpful. Wish the seats were bigger or at least have armrests that go up like at the Polo Park theatre.
The theatre is ok but they don't have the super comfy seats like the other theatres do.
The theatre was fully booked and we had reserved seats. Got to our seats and noticed the seat was dirty. There were no other seats available in the theatre and the movie was going to start in 15 minutes. We approached a staff named Guillaume and he cleaned our seat very quickly and efficiently before the movie started. Was so impressed and pleased with this! Thanks Guillaume!
Free 3d movie took 1500 points website says 1250???
it's the go to place for south st vital people cause it so accessible but tbh it's a little grimy, seats are uncomfortable unless you pay like 20 for the dbox seats, and food is a little overpriced. a lot of that is just the nature of theatres unfortunately
As of May 8th 2019, theater #1 has poor contrast and the picture is not up to par with an AVX theater experience. Avoid that theater, not worth the money. Dark scenes in the movie will be hard to make out what's going on.
Has comfortable seating, good popcorn although a little too expensive! Good for a night out! Staff is friendly!
Curtis staff. Clean theater's. Good deals on snacks.
Paid for the highest end seats at $22 each, and didn't find them particularly comfortable. Cost gave you a good central seat and a chair that moved on it's own during the movie in an attempt to provide that 4-d effect. Just gave me a sore neck and still not comfortable enough.
Less than half of the self-serve ticket machines were working. Projector in the theatre was very dim, it was impossible to see what was happening on the bottom 25% of the screen. Would not recommend.
Spiderman
Overpriced food, but the theatres themselves are nice.
Always enjoy coming here to watch movies. The AVX theatre is great.
There was something about the popcorn that day... I can't really explain it.
Your average big hollywood type movie theatre, typically only plays the biggest films.
Good movie theater not to packed
oinly 3 movies wanted To WATCH click! by adam sandman
Place is looking pretty run down... Half the toilets were out of order. GRANT PARK FOR THE SEATS BABY!
Clean, good food selection, first run films
I went through the app to purchase tickets, it showed that all the regular tickets were sold out. I had to buy the D-box tickets for a lot more, went to watch the movie and noticed that 90% of the theatre was empty. The app is misleading, trying to sell expensive tickets while regular seats are still available
Wish it was cleaner and half the machines to buy tickets never work.
seats could be a bit more comfortable and snack a little less pricy
Always a good, clean and well maintained environment. Staff are pretty good at their jobs and friendly. Great place to take the family or a date night.
Great cinema with many theaters. Food is VERY costly. They've recently done away with buying tickets from a human. Fully kiosks now. Very well taken care of and clean.
Theater was dirty, popcorn all over the floors. Seats are cramped too and cloth so they felt gross/dirty Used to be good here but there are better options now.
The overall experience was good, this time I was at the dbox seats and it was a unique experience of watching a movie, other things being the usual it's a good go to place for movies.
Saw "Us" it was a great movie! Building was very clean as well. Very friendly staff
I really like this theater. Only negative i would give is the fact that the seats don't recline like polo park silver city
They now charge for popcorn flavour dust, which isn't a good thing.
Movie was great but $36 for a combo is just crazy!
I watched the movie "Playing With Fire" there and it was one of the best movie experiences ever!!!
Not too bad, has an ok arcade.
didn't have assigned seating, and there was a squeaky ventilation fan at the back of the theatre, we were watching "a quiet place" so the noise was very distracting. movie was awesome though!
It's a decent theatre I go because it closer but it's a second choice to landmark cinemas. You get a bigger screen hear but that's doesn't matter much to me.
I'm currently sitting in auditorium 8 to see Logan, but alas, the theater has no sound! I mean, what kind of amateur is running the tech in this joint? Jeez, I came here to watch Logan, not a movie from the 1920s. Can we get this crap running already? 1/10 would not tap again.
I was kicked out for no reason.
Been going here since I was 5, always great experience!
Busy over priced stay home watch a movie save a $100!
It's a pretty nice place, as movie theaters go.
Nice place, movie availability is quite good.
Disorganized staff
Was surprised to find out that the theatre is now licenced! Enjoyed some Pinot Grigio with my movie ????
Very stale food, they forgot to turn the lights off and then after the movie forgot to turn the lights on... most likely not going back
Its great to be back at the movies again!
Went to the arcade at the theater, half the machines were out of service, lost money on other that weren't posted. At least they were nice and we got our money back for the broken games.
Honestly my favourite theater. It is not as packed as Polo, it has the best arcade, you can reserve your seats, and the armrests in the AVX theater fold up into a loveseat. I prefer the AVX for picture and sound over IMAX. Staff are friendly, and there are enough kiosks to keep a nice flow to traffic.
The kids enjoyed the arcade before seeing the movie. Lots of fun. It's a little expensive for what you get but that's kind of expected.
The best Cinema’s to watch unforgettable movies!
Tickets are expensive. Chairs are uncomfortable and its always too cold.
Best popcorn ever tested very crunchy and not too spicy
It's close and practical not as good as other theaters in some places tho
Went for the first day opening of Avengers End game. Liked we didn't have to wait in line for rush seating. Tickets were purchased online. The seats could be upgraded. After 3 hours my butt was a little numb. Otherwise great theatre.
Ever since I waited in line for The Phantom Menace I've had soft spot for this multiplex
One of the best Cineplex in the city.
Smell of feet and sticky floors from drinks, popcorn on the floor, a loud fan noise disturbing the whole movie, a blinking light on the left side
Not bad but the seats suck, so un- comfy... they need Landmark cinema seats like at Grant park theater
Saw dark Phoenix in the ultra seats, they recline a little to much but other then that I had no problems.
Great and quaint movie theatre. On Tuesdays it is half price! On the downside it does not feature all movies.
Seats are not too comfortable. Screen and sound is good
I miss all the displays they had hanging from the ceiling, that aside this is probably my favourite theatre in Winnipeg.
Always friendly staff and great seats!! Love going to movies here!!
First, the kid working the food kiosk poisons my by adding allergens I informed him of and then tells me "Yeah I forgot then picked out what I could." Then, they couldn't be bothered to focus the projector, so the movie was slightly out of focus. This place is being mandatory by children who just don't care. Not going back.
Big movie theatre with lots of screens, best movie experience in southern winnipeg
It's good other then the seats... Upgrade them like polo park did come on
Sadly some days are good and some are bad, I have waited over 15 minutes in a concession line and it doesn't move, while other times it goes at a nice speed.
Good theatre to bring family. Great selection of screenings with slightly lowered volumes to bring younger patrons. Arcade is also a blast!
this is one of my fave theatres in the city, not only is it close to my house but it's attached to the mall unlike (polo) But the reason I'm giving two stars is because their costumer service is awful. Let me explain.... I have an access card that I've been granted through Easter seals, they help clients with low income who are in homes that are staffed 24 hours. The card lets me have one ticket free. When it came for me to pay, the employee asked me "so who's the disabled one" I was in shock that someone would even say that. I may not look disabled, but I sure know I don't have to explain what's physically or even mentally wrong with me when I use this card. I felt very frustrated that I can't even go see a movie without people judging me. So that's why I rated it two stars...
It's always a good place to watch movies, plus D-Box for any action movie is sooo worth the extra money
Good times, good seating. Clean and friendly services
One of if not the best place to catch a movie in winnipeg. Bonus points for an awesome arcade
Nice theater visually and pretty comfortable too.
They sell liquor now. Which ya'know is really, really rad!
Great theater....unless you get a broken chair.
Really good thanks for giving Aiden a job that boy is my number 1
Good
Lots of options. The avx theatre needs new seats
Great place to spend some SCENE points and watch a movie. Theatre itself is much better than most Winnipeg locations.
Screen have curtains on it which is distracting.
I find this cinema quite good. I like the options for reserved seating. The pricing on the food like any cinema is very high so I choose not to buy anything. The theatres are generally pretty clean considering the mess people make. Overall pretty good.
Always a good time here with the kids. Fairly clean
Chairs in theatre I was in could have been a bit more comfortable. Covid precautions in place. Clean no issues
There was nothing exceptional about my visit, and nothing bad about it either, the theatre was clean
always a great place to watch a movie
It is a very big place, there is a lot of parking, it's clean and the go to place for my family.
Most humans replaced by kiosks of which the vast majority were broken. Relies on a barely functional app that can't be reliably used with no good cell signal in the lobby. At least the movie was good.
Avengers endgame was great. Also buisness was fast and i got in there before the movie started and enjoyed the previews.
Hard working staff, great facilities and perfect location.
SilverCity is a great place to take a date, take your children, go with your friends or go solo. UltraAVX is the game changer.
Everything is fine, but seats are a little uncomfortable, I guess that comes with the price, eh.
Bathrooms could use some updating. Enjoyed the movie with the kids.
Excellent best movie theater in Winnipeg has everything you'd ever want from a theater if your going to see a movie this is the place
SilverCity is a good place to go and watch movies on the big screen. Its a perfect first date or a great place to hang out with your friends or family
once we got through the hour of ads before the movie the experience wasn't too bad
I like it not to dirty good quality screen but the snacks their kinda over priced for just some popcorn where you can anywhere and the food just horrible but the cinema experience was thrilling
Great place to check out movies. Friendly staff.
Great place for a movie, excellent service and good for a family time off. The seating system is organised and cleaned after every show. Tickets are averagely priced ranging upto 3D Dbox experience.
Nice place to bring your Wife after a good dinner for a night out.
I love the St. Vital location I find it miles ahead of the Scotiabank location near Polo. I come here very often, and have experienced 0 issues thus far. The seating is wonderful, the popcorn is great, staff are friendly, the screenings are issue free.
It was good... but I wish the dbox I paid for worked
What can I say, they show movies here. They have overpriced concession stands just like every other major movie theater and overpriced movie tickets, also just like every other major movie theater. But if you want to legally watch new releases, you will pay their prices, or wait for the movies to show up on Netflix, but by then everything will be spoiled online and you will know everything will before you get to watch it. So spend some (*lots of) money, and go see it on the theater, then you can be the one to spoil it for everyone else first!
My two biggest complaints are that when I pay the extra money for Dbox I often see people jump in them after the movie starts. So they get the same seat as me without paying and I selected that seat because no one was beside me. Secondly, and worst of all is the Ads are just out of control. I paid money to see the movie and last time I went, no exaggeration, 20 minutes of ads and trailers before the movie started. I would rather them just post when the movie will actually start so I can come then. Don't trap me there to watch ads when I already paid 20 dollars for the movie.
They have an arcade and a waiting area. There are a couple of ways to get tickets, but the kiosks are not always reliable.
Felt grubby and the seats were creaky but all in all great place would definitely go again
Great place to to watch a movie, tho the snacks are a little overpriced in my opinion
fun staff, especially Benjamin he was very nice.
Regular Seats not too much comfortable, still good
$20 for 1 drink and popcorn... Sugar and maize... The cheapest commodities in agriculture... It offends even the hardest of us.
Only 3 stars..why? Because its too expensive to go to a movie. Not to mention the sheer robbing of customers at the snack shop! I usually only walk through, when going into the mall..and with my anxiety, I find the amount of noise eminating from the game machines is horrific!
We really love that cinemas, but only thing is pricing for the food, it's too expensive. The bottle of juice with the regular price $2 cost $5 in Silvercity. And the same expenses for everything. But tickets prices is still good.
Always enjoy coming here for a movie. They have all their Covid-19 stuff in place, so come and enjoy a night out.
Hard to spot in the picture but the serving area was riddled with fruit flies/nats. This is a clear sign that the food is not being stored properly and the area is not kept clean. Disgusting. We of course mentioned it to the employee serving us and he literally said nothing. Just continued to pour the butter as if we didn't say anything at all!
Why must movies be so pricey. Dislike everything getting bigger and better. Despite that, always good, clean, comfy seating. Friendly staff.
Cinema was dirty. Behind all the seats is old dirty food and dust. Does not look like they sanitized any seats as we were the only ones at this movie and was full before we got in to the movie with no staff entry before us. Lights stay on at least 5 minutes into the movie, so you can't enjoy the previews or the start of the movie, "the full experience ". Staff were friendly but were not knowledgeable of the cineclub discount, took 15 minutes to get the free movie. Food was overpriced, but fresh and decent.
Movies are getting soo expensive. Guaranteed $100 for a night out with the family. 2 adults, 2 kids, small popcorn and drinks. But had a great evening, and the movie was fantastic.
Good place to watch new movies and enjoy time with family & friends
Was an interesting experience! Had a change table, diapers and wipes ????
Very unhappy about tonight, drove 45 minutes from home to celebrate my girlfriends birthday, we get to the theatre, we pay for our tickets and now that we’ve driven all the way out here too see the movie “Hustler”. After we get into the theatre we are told they are having “technical difficulties” and are told to go get a refund and to wait around as it may work again shortly (they are not sure yet). We get our refund then we wait around too see if they can fix there “technical difficulties” 5 minutes later they tell us we can go pay for another ticket if we would like to watch the movie although if the movie cuts out and stops working there will be no refund. Thanks, for wasting our evening, being impolite (spoken too rudely) at the same time & wasting $30 of gas so I can go right back home. This is the first 1/5 star review I’ve given through google reviews, and I am a long time customer to silver city cineplex, to conclude its unfortunate and I wish things were handled different on there end.
The box office was closed and not easy to check in with a movie voucher. Tried using the automated ticket system.. and clearly wasnt working. No sigh .. had to flag down an employee who told me I had to stand in at concession. The decor is dated and so are the seats
Got everything you'd want at the cinemas, nothing to dislike here
I don't do theaters that often...but when I wanna see a new movie I inevitably come here. Great arcade, right attached to a great mall, and a good selection of food products (minus the one star for crazy prices there) it really is my personal favorite theater in the city.
I remember when st Vitel was a great theater and it isn’t any more. No staff any wear to be found most ticket machines not working with 30 min line. Old broken seats. Time play can’t log in, old popcorn taste flat pop. You can’t do much worse cineplex time to renovate your theater and your attitude towards customers
Always a great place to see the latest movies.
Seats are not ment for larger individuals , but the theatre is very clean and their popcorn is not burnt , they have a game room which is fun to pass time
Movie started 20 minutes late. Sound levels were ridiculously high especially possibly at harmful levels for prolonged exposure.
Seats are worn, squeaky and just not as comfortable as landmark or the vip theatre. It was also filthy. Won't be spending my hard earned money here anymore.
I always enjoy going to the movies, and it's great if you can remember to go on Tuesdays :-) Tbat said the refreshments could be of a greater quality and the prices should be lower. I'm sure that they would sell more, not sure if they would make more $$$ ... but I know I'd be happier as a consumer.
Seats kinda suck, but better than scotiabank theatre by polo.
I've been here plenty of times, it's about what you would expect from a movie theater. Staff is all friendly, however there have been a few times where my theater has had no audio until the movie which is odd, and a few times where the lights remained on well into the movie. Otherwise a good experience. Clean ish restrooms.
Good theatre in st. Vital center, the Dbox movie experience is awesome, enjoyed the movie.....
Nice theater, clean, but the food is way to expensive
Nice place for a movie a little pricey for popcorn but what movie place isint.
Best theatre in Winnipeg, it has great seating they have the perfect volume and great service.
I hate Cineplex because I don't know when ta-da is coming up?
As far as a theatre goes it hits all the marks I can think of
Love going to the SilverCity St. Vital! The chairs are super comfy, they always have a good variety of movies playing, and the theatres are always clean! One of our favorite theatres to visit in Winnipeg! :)
This is a really nice cinema. They have the UltraAVX too. Seats are comfortable and the place is usually neat. The food court is good too.
Good arcade for wasting time before the movie. Good selection of movies
Nice to have the theater in the mall, the staff is friendly, but the seats could be better
Seems that every premiere of a new movie if I go see it a couple days after it started or was released they always seem to either have problems with lights or sound
Took my family to the movies yesterday. Early dismissal day from school to kick off Xmas holidays, so understaffed. Not One Single Human working any where near the vacinity of a ticket sales counter. Yes you have machines to sell tickets, but many people clearly needed assistance, no one to be found. A minimum of 20minutes of commercials is UNACCEPTABLE! this is after the start time of the movie so not including all the commercials during trivia before the movie. There's barely even trailers cause its 20-30 minutes of advertising. If you could tell me bringing in adcertising helped reduced costs back to customer okay, but movie and concession prices are still astronomical so I dont get it. My poor kids started asking if an actual movie was even coming it got so bad.
Long lines no staff to help. Ticket machines working one out of 5. Bathrooms a mess. TimePlay doesn’t work, please cineplex let someone buy you out that cares about customer experiences Like landmark theater does.
Great place. There is a arcade game corner nearby with lots of old school and new arcade and simulation games cabinet. Staffs are great seats and environment are clean. Fun place!
Nice and clean place to see a movie, family friendly too
Always love the sound quality.. Comfy seats ...
Make sure you bring lots of money to lay video games ... friggin' expensive !
Usually a good place to go. I find the carpet to be ugly and dated. Lines not too bad thanks to the self serve terminals. Theater screens are very good quality and audio was beautiful. The service itself in seeing the movies is good, but atmosphere needs work.
Staff are friendly and seats in the theatre are clean and comfy. Would recommend this location if you can pick.
I like this place because it's usually not very crowded. Normal screen is sub par as the sound and seats aren't great. Dolby Atmos experience was quite good.
Seats are comfortable and spaced reasonably so your not stuck sitting on your neighbor's lap. Great popcorn too.
Great to be back in the seats!
Always nice to go there to watch a movie
Great time watching the new spiderman, friendly staff and clean theater.
treat their employees badly, don't know what they're doing. lie about last minute schedule changes. let longtime employees get away with anything and everything. exposed their staff to covid. never going here.
Movies are great...service at consessions not so good.
Service was slow. At the beginning only one person working. Handling food and cashing out money. Means no washing of hands. 2nd employee comes from break. Only to be chewing whatever he's eating on the floor. Did not wash hands when started. Was not wearing gloves when, preparing food. Ordered food and drink hot dog ,sandwich, routine and drink. Common sense would say this person needs a tray. Instead they expect a customer to carry them out by themself. Male employee stAtes that he can carry all that food without a tray oh and hand the ticket at the same time. I called him a moron for suggesting I do that. He stAtes I have to ask for a tray next time. Manager agrees also. Your in the business to exceed guest expectations. Not get the more upset. I spent over $30 for myself. They showed no problems losing a good customer. I'm going to the land mark theatre in Grant. At least their friendlier there. Your staff needs a lot of work!
Good place for a date
Love this cinema, clean and nice staff
Pretty good experience, but concession prices are pretty high and they make you pay extra for butter on popcorn.
Nice theater, nothing fancy. I liked that the movie wasn't packed.
I know it's summer holidays but when you go to see a movie in the afternoon and stand in line to get something to eat..it's sad and bad customer service for a guy in a maroon coloured shirt ,(management) to be talking to a staff and showing photos on his phone while people are waiting to be to have their order taken! Not once did he or the other staff acknowledge me..so not wasting my $ there anymore!
Five stars because I finally showed up on time. Haven't pulled that miracle off in years.
Big screens, a lots of auditorium, great sound system. Food is expensive
I saw instant family. Good movie. I am a foster parent and a lot of it is very true. Kids come with their life belongings in a garbage bag
Excellent facilities, great location, prices, & great staff.
The place needs some updating for sure. It's starting to show its age. I thought the stairs needed some repairs and carpet needs some cleaning. The seats need to be wider and reclining. Just wasn't super comfortable. Hopefully some changes for the better happen soon
Improved screening process made this visit much easier to attend the movie.
Good movie expensive snacks better off to bring your own in
Typical theater, always good.
Nice theatre. Digital is fine but sometimes you just want to deal with a person. Nobody is ever at the ticket booth.
Seats could be more comfy orherwise good experience
Extremely busy. Went and saw Bohemian Rhapsody and it was a 10/10 would see it again. However it would have been nice to get the layered buttur I had paid for.
Always love a big theater!
Going to the movies during Covid-19.. understandably there were limited numbers of people allowed in the facility with proper cleanliness measures being taken. Assigned seating for all guests and is regularly monitored by members of staff. Overall positive experience.
Sadly this place has gone downhill drastically over the years. The screens are bigger and the sound is louder then ever, but the service and cleanliness has drastically declined. We were there to see a late show and the concessions only has 3 tills open and the line up was very long. No managers in sight at all. I have been to this location a few times over the last few weeks and in the men's room there has been 1 urinal that has been broken, yep still broken. The bathroom was disgusting with piss all over the floor and the counters filthy. The floors and carpets in the lobby were not much better. Sadly I used to think this theater was really good. Too bad it has gone downhill so badly. I much prefer going to The other theaters now and only go here when it is a matter of convenience.
Get movie passes from Costco to save money on overpriced popcorn.
The seating is outdated, they finally have assigned seating so you don't have to show up super early. But a lot of times the movies don't start on time which is super frustrating for late shows and the theatres are not cleaned very well.
It's usually a hassle to go here. The concession lines always take forever. The seats are well worn in and barely comfortable.
Had scene points for a free ticket. Here is how it went: The 4 yellow self serve terminals either had out of order signs or were not working. The hallway to the theaters is in the process of replacing the carpet, or it was simply removed. There was no sound during previews and someone had to go tell the staff before the movie. They also had to turn the lights down manually once the movie started. Movie and snacks were fine. Staff were friendly/polite. Washrooms (both genders) had out of order signs on hand dryers, or they were not working. I used to frequent this theater all the time, but it seems to be letting itself go. I would strongly suggest visiting the Grant Park theater until this location fixes itself.
The seating of patrons was well thought out. Good social distancing. The safety of movie goers was definitely a priority.
Really great service. Everyone was following protocol, it was smooth and fast getting in. Just make sure you have your immunization QR code ready to show :)
Lots of room and always a good time.
My boyfriend and I brought our 3 children. Together we paid $150 for seats, drinks, and popcorn. Absolutely rediculous!!! Also, our seats were occupied and we had to get an usher to get them to move causing much frustration for everyone in the area. There was almost no leg room making it hard not to kick the seat in front and to try and take the children to the bathroom. My son's seat was constantly being kicked for this same reason. It wasn't an enjoyable experience for what it cost. Movies should be a more family friendly experience.
Good facility the seats at Polo Park are more comfortable.
Has a wide selection of movies, novel atmosphere and a high tech arcade system if you are into that sort of thing.
I wish I could give this place no stars. the theaters stink, the chairs are uncomfortable and to small, there's no room and everything is overpriced.
Pretty dece broski No crowds, decent food, didn't appreciate that guy who kept asking me if I've listened to Tyler the Creator's Igor.
Great experience, good movie selection
Friendly service, the lines move fairly quickly. They don't have the fancy drink machines some of the tjeatres have, and the chairs aren't the most comfortable
Tried to book a childrens party. Oh. My. God. Could NOT have been more difficult. Nobody knows anything in advance, and all options had "extra" fees attached to them. Also WAY too loud, which is what I didnt have the option of paying extra for... bleh. Popcorn and drinks was 20bux?!?! Next time we'll just wait to dwnld it at home...
Went to see Dear Evan Hansen less than a week after it came out and expected it to be packed, but me and my family ended getting an entire theater to ourselves.
Theatres are relatively well kept. Of course prices are absurd but that is the nature of this business.
Great movie but seats were uncomfortable
Have some staff on paid 50 bucks for my kid and I to see end game opening night great as I had my tickets but 30 minutes In line for popcorn and a pop food cost 3 dollars my cost 25 dollars
Was nice and clean , saw a great movie
Seemed to be very short staffed and for the second time in a month could not use my Scene points to pay for the movie as the system was down
Theatre was an absolute mess when we entered, and the cleaning crew came in 25 mins before the movie was going to start yelling at us to get out, the lady sitting next to us was talking on the phone while her child had an accident in the chair. Second worse experience at this theatre so far.
Great place I love it there perfect place for movies
One of the nicer theaters in the city, d box, 3d, imax.
Comfortable seating but the snack food is expensive.
Always fun to take my boy, he loves the little arcade!
The staff here is uneducated and rude. They know nothing about anything. They don’t know how to handle pre-purchased tickets, they don’t know movie times or even the complete list of items available. When you are frustrated by all this they then don’t understand why you’re getting mad. The people working here are destined to stay behind the concession stands of life. No pride anymore. Seriously pathetic customer service.
People tend to attribute the decline of the movie theater to Netflix and on-demand services... But let's take a look at what's playing now at the local theater: At Cineplex St.Vital, we've got 3 or 4 popular Blockbusters running currently -- Pacific Rim Uprising, Tomb Raider, Black Panther, and Wrinkle in Time (not saying they're all "good") -- several showtimes in crappy yet overpriced 3D, but only ONE standard non-3D showing in the afternoon, before most people even get home from work. And what do they do with all their standard screens during the busy evening hours, you may ask? Play multiple showings of Peter Rabbit, Paul Apostle of Christ, and Midnight Sun. Freaking. Peter. Rabbit. Movie theaters don't need Netflix to gradually bleed away their customers. They do it all by themselves.
Loads of entertainment for all ages. Great snack options.
One of my favorite places to go for action and adventure movies.!
Great place to enjoy a movie
I wish avengers end game never reach to an end. Such an wonderful experience watching movies in silver st.vital cinema.
Fantastic screens. Comfortable seats.
It has become so run down over the last 15 years. We drive the extra 20 mins to Kenaston for a better experience. It was really snowy and roads were bad so we decided to check this place out again. So disappointed. It was like a ghost town even on discount Tuesday.
It was so nice to be able to go out and see a movie
Great movie, went with my daughter
Theatres are good but the popcorn is too damn expensive
I always like to go to the movies but man....kinda pricey
The arcade is a lot of fun for kids and adults. Theatres are very spacious. Seating is comfy. Good price for value.
The threater needs a renovation. The seats are old, uncomfortable, creeked every time I moved. It was smelly and unclean. Unfortunately it was not a good experience. It's worth paying more for the comfort at Landmark threater. Sorry.
Seats don't go back. And today staff or ?? Didn't turn off lights till movie already started and didnt turn them on when movie was over . Staff with each other end of hall
Came to see the movie Yesterday. the staff were very helpful
Excellent theater but wish they would have an IMAX theater
Great theater and arcade
This theatre and it’s staff are not equipped to handle persons with disabilities, specifically hearing loss. We have given them more than one shot, but each time the closed captioning is either not functioning at all, or all their captioning machines are dead. All they can offer is free passes for our next visit. That doesn’t help when you never plan to visit again.
Movies are quite often very loud but otherwise great place
Great service always clean and great staff well that is when we are looking hehe
Great cinema. Good service and the audio and video is????
One of the best cinemas in Winnipeg plus st. Vital mall offers a great range of restaurants, outlets and stores. Good place to hang out at and 10x better as compared to northgate cinema
One of my favorite theatres in the city. Lots of parking, easy to access. Entrace is a little out dated, but theatres are always beautiful and clean. Nice seats, good picture, almost too loud speakers, and great AC. Staff are quick, but always a line at concessions.
Always a great experience, facilities and such always nice and clean or as best as possible always have people working to keep things running smoothly and cleanly
The theatres are good, washrooms are usually messy and low on TP.
Fairly organized layout, not overly crowded, great bathrooms,
If you like the movies or the mall then this is the place to go it also as a arcade
Excellent sound, picture and really comfortable seats it's as if I'm sitting at home in my living room
Not a fan of the theatre, but love the amusement games and stuff..
I am a good old st. Vital boy and still enjoy coming here.
They made us go around, walk outside in the cold cause they wouldn’t let people through the arcade to get through the cinemas
Seats are not comfy and squished together. Popcorn is ok, drinks got smaller for same price
Been going to movies here since it opened. Generally very nice but the cloth seats have been there since the beginning and they get uncomfortable after 30 minutes. The lobby has gone through changes but the theaters are over due. Even AVX screen worm out already.
Love the kiosks. They were all working and the line went fast.
Great theatre. Always enjoy movies there.
They never stop me from bringing in my own drink. Thanks guys.
We went at 10am to see Ralph breaks the internet. There is nobody in the theater with us we were the only ones there. Which was awesome. The movie was awesome. The movie theater was clean. The staff that served us are popcorn and scanned our tickets were very awesome. I love that SilverCity I'll be definitely taking my family back again to see a another movie.
Would live here if I could. Great all around
The theater wasn't numbered. When we got into the theater it had obviously not been cleaned at all since who knows when. For over 5 minutes before the movie started there was no sound or anything playing on the screen. The bathroom had 2 out of 3 hand dryers not working, 3 stalls were out of order. The kick plates around the stalls were broken. Half the games in the arcade were out of order. I'm really glad we had free tickets for the movie because it was a waste of money today.
Good theater but starting to get a bit dated.
Pleasant experience.
What can you really say about a movie theatre? They have a food area (that's incredibley expensive) and they show movies. They one thing I'd have to say about St Vital Silver City is that I think it's time for the seats to be replaced! At least in theater #7 15 mins into the movie my tailbone was killing me. Great movie but absolutely uncomfortable the entire flick.
Urine odor is very strong on the carpets.
Friendly staff, clean theatres, a movie, snacks and POPCORN!!!! What's not to Love!
wonderful helpful staff.. great food.. very comfy seats.. reasonable prices.. excellent experience.. tons of parking..
Good place to see a movie. Good bus access.
Not enough ppl working lots of ppl just standing
They are not checking ID when you show your immunization card. This is not a great way to welcome back guests safely. Very disappointed and will not go back until they start caring about their guests and employees.
This place is great comfortable and clean, it's the people that spoil it for you when they start talking through your movie... That you paid for.
Theatre was nice and clean. The hot dog and nachos were delicious.
Love the scene program. Theatres are so-so. Large but not as well kept as the competitor. Food prices are atrocious. And because there are so many trailers and commercials you are guaranteed cold stale popcorn before you are 10 minutes into the movie if even that long. Reclining chairs at cineplex if get broken interfere with people behind and take forever to be fixed. Number if theatres at each multiplex and variety of what us showing is good. Wish more theatres had reservable seats.
Been coming here since it was built. The arcade is a great way to pass time
Clean , Friendly, Good Service
Was in auditorium 10 and the seats still had garbage in them and a cup, so they don't clean inbewteen movies so be careful and watch at your own risk
Love the movie going experience but they total screwed their loyalty program up. You used to be able to get 100 points per movie with timeplay now your lucky to even get 5. And on top of that the time play doesn't work half the time. Other than that this isnt a bad theatre. The arcade is pretty good
We love this theater. It is our go to for date night, its always clean, always busy but employess are always kind. HOWEVER, we are HIGHLY DISSAPOINTED that in reopening during the pandemic to fully vaxxed individuals they are NOT adequately checking vaccine QR codes. They merely look at your code without scanning it to see if it is actually yours. This is causw for huge concern and a health risk.
The seating is comfortable but the price for a small popcorn is really expensive over $6
Nice and clean theatre. Staff is great and very helpful
Unreal the air conditioning broken but failed to inform people watching the purge when asked what's going on with the air condition they said a tech was working on it disgusting to say the least they should have offered everyone a free drink spend a lot money to go to the movies for a terrible experience boo management
This was a greast experience visiting Silver City at St. Vital Center. The safety protocols were followed to a Tee. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.
it's a great time watching a movie or 3D movie, and is a blast for the boys playing on the games!
Kids had a blast! Can't believe how pricy the snacks are though!
Tis ok , it is a theatre what else can I say
Pretty standard cinema, didn't like the cheddar poptopia popcorn, tasted a bit stale.
Great cinema with good seating and nice environment
First movie in over 2 years. 5 other folks in theater. Missed movies immensely and thrilled to be back.
D Box chair where uncomfortable otherwise very nice
It's a very nice and clean cinema, I did like the way they schedule the movies for every movie theater, no waiting for go in or to buy the pop corn but I have to say that we bought the tickets online maybe that's why we save time making line to buy the tickets, however it was something that I noticed that is happening everytime we visit these cinemas:they need to improve the collection of garbage because the containers are not enough and those are overfilled always.
It doesn't seem correct to leave a review. I went and enjoyed a movie made by somebody else. When I go to a restaurant, I leave a review on the product they created, not the chairs or tables. All movie theaters are essentially the same. The best I can say is, it was equal to any other theater I've been to in Winnipeg.
I love the Stars and Strollers movies. It's such a great way to get out with a baby, especially in the dead of winter.
Good, but not as good as grant park cinema
Love this place for movie nites. Always get seats and good eats !!
Movies are always great. Nice seats smaller lineups at concessions
This theater always has the best quality movies and there service is very friendly and I highly recommend you try this theater
Just like every other theatre complex... nice, but way too expensivem
I give it 4 out of 5 stars I wish they would revamp This theatre and make it more comfortable for its customers other then that it's good especially during this time were in
Large arcade, clean theatres. Not as much food selection as other silver cities but over all a fun experience.
Love this Silver City in St. Vital Mall, I had a good time watching Mission Impossible☺
Like this mall best of all in WInnipeg. Interesting stores and Two TIm Hortons
Popcorn prices are stupid but all around experiance was good
Lots of theatres. AVX theatre is great for big blockbuster movies. Xscape arcade area is fun for before or after the show.
Great movie theaters to take your family and friends. Connects to St. Vital Mall for shopping after. Fun place to be.
Movie was good and theatre was clean but the ticketing and popcorn lineup sucks. 7pm on a Wednesday night. They have self-serve ticketing machines and if customers dont like them, they buy tickets at concessions which makes service much slower. One Staff also bumping into customers in line-up to restock nearly full shelves alongside the queues right before 7pm start for most shows. Not good planning or service efficiencies. Ill choose another location for next movie night.
The arcade was the bomb.. I felt like a kid again
I wish they could serve the popcorn and drinks faster so the lines would be shorter, but *sigh* maybe I don't need it. Theatre is lovely and clean and the staff are helpful.
Would rate 5 stars if the seats were more comfortable..but cinema was clean and staff were nice and helpful
Nice and clean cinema. Staff was nice here. Quick service and not over crowded
So many great memories here. I went on my first date with Wives 1 through 5 and Wives 8 and 9 at this theatre (my first dates with Wives 6 and 7 were at the Polo Park cinema). Wives 1, 3, 8, and 9 loved the popcorn, and while the snacks didn't really impress Wives 2, 4, and 5, all of them really enjoyed the comfort of the seats. Now, I'm about to embark on my first date with the woman who will become Wife 10, and I hope she enjoys the experience as much as the former wives.
Not great, went to the movie early to play timeplay and had a message about an update that was ready to be installed covering the screen most of the time, luckily it didn't stay there for the movie, just during most of timeplay
