As of day the business gets a rating of 4.1 over 5 and this rating has been calculated on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is quite high, and it's based on a very large number of opinions, so we can be quite sure that the assessment is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to write reviews when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Movie Theater belongs to the category of Shopping mall.
Long time since I've been there, lots of really neat stores and a terrific, spacious layout for the mall! A great shopping experience!
We had a great shopping experience there. Managed to get all the last minute purchases done without any lasting damage!!
I have been there several x over there to go to other places in that mall I liked that mall it's a very nice mall.
Larger variety of shops and recently expanded at the east end of the mall. A good collection of electronics, bath and body, shoe and book stores
The renovations to the mall are looking good. Food court is small compared to the other malls. Overall it has what I needed and easy to get there.
The mall here is great they keeping up with the times. Had chance to talk day cleaner how does great job, if get chance see him and not to busy aske. Him to sing he has great voice hell blow away. All and all this is the best mall i have been long time . sign Ken Waechter.
Ok mall. Not much for stores any more. Kinda dead inside. Not crowded much.
KP is a versatile mall...not too big but has all the stores you need in a pinch. From Shoppers to Cdn Tire to Dollarama to food court options. Convenient on Regent. Easy to get in and out and parking close to a door is the norm. It's not the biggest or fanciest mall but it does what I need.
Great service while picking up gift cards during code red. Thank you for making it easy
Nice mall different mix of shops but if your looking for something a little different as well as some of the usual.
Echoing some of the other reviews. Service has gotten really poor since the pandemic. Acessibility is almost nonexistent now, COVID "security guards" harassing customers, poor sanitization, and the list goes on.
We went to a movie. Parking was free and well marked area. Even though it was -40C we still made a time of it. Dated facility but still functional and well attended movie. Cost is same as any other theater. Clean and well kept. Good for kids of all ages. We had a great time.
I'm glad that the Save On Foods is already open for good
Cant wait for the new movie theater that they r making in the old Sears building otherwise then that most of the mall could really use an update but it's a nice place
KP is a nice place with shops of different brands and place where kids can play. It almost have everything from food stalls, cineplex, shopping stores all under one single roof. This place also have SHAW open wi-fi and one of the few places where one can find a physical store of SHAW customer service. Very nice place to shop, hangout and having fun.
Pretty good little mall with almost every shop you'll need to visit. Closes a little early on the weekends, but the theater stays open until 12, and that's that.
The mall has really improved with the conversion of the old Target space into more, varied retail space. The rest of the mall is looking a little tired and is due for a renovation.
Nothing special about this place. It's the same as every other mall
This mall is great! Has all the stores in it and easy to access them. Mall can get crowded at peak times.
Awesome place..nice stores..great deals at Marshall, H&M, shoppers
I love this place! Great variety of stores ???? Underrated :)
Good size mall with a wide variety of stores
It's not as big as some of the other malls, but it still has a good selection of stores and a reasonable sized food court
Nice place to hangout and shopping
This Mall should bring more business in ,to make a profit. Which will bring more people. The mall has gone stale. Look at the mall in Winnipeg which more people coming and going .
Shocking how this place seems to get better even though it lost an anchor store.. if you bring a toddler make sure you have loonies or stay away from the theater/food court area because of the loonie rides
Everything you need and would expect in a mall. Very accessible to the bus system. Adequate parking. Great place to meet friends and a decent amount of food options. A good amount of clothing stored and electronic outlets. Canada Post, Shoppers and Shaw are also here to do errands. Security here is very noticable so that is a plus. I gave it 5 stars due it being in a very convenient area on Regent. It's easy to take the bus or drive here and finish errands around Kildonan Crossing. There's also a decent but not huge movie theater. If you bus or live in E.K./Elmwood/Transcona you'll probably come here often.
I’ve been going to this mall my whole life. When I was a kid I’d spend my time in the video arcade, when I was a teenager I’d spend my time prowling for chicas in the food court. Now I go there for the odd item, or for Christmas shopping but KP still stands up as being an easy place to walk around and shop. Nothing really to upscale here, so if you’re going, don’t go because you’re looking for something really nice. Go because you’re just doing normal shopping and want someplace smaller and less chaotic than polo park or St. Vital
Nice place to shop around with family and friends. Lots of store and if getting bored catch a movie with friends in theatre. In Food court you will find some mean people.
Very clean tidy and full of many different brand shops. A family place to visit for sure
The place had gone through a major transformation. It felt great being there! Modern, Plenty of couches which I love when the gf takes her time shopping! Children playground and electric driven animal ride kids can roam around the mall. Looking forward on our next visit :)
Like this mall better then the others, good variety of stores
Awesome mall! Sweet C Bakery is a particular favourite retailer of mine, as well as Sunrise Records. The array of publications printed by local tourism authorities that are available for pickup and reading at the Guest Services desk are offered at no charge and are top-notch, world class publications that are also useful for learning and staying in the know regarding local businesses and events. No complaints whatsoever!
Good mall and it has improved over the years
Interesting shops and pretty clean too.
Nice mall. Just wish the food court had more variety.
Great mall, been going there for ages. Staff are friendly too. New expansion is making the mall better.
Lots of great retail stores/outletts , but can easily loose your way around if you dont frequently visit, most stores have good sales on weekends
Spacious mall, great COVID protocol and very accessible. I like how they have almost all the mobile operators (Major 3 are there).
I don't go to this mall that often but I might more in the future. I still remember it as it was in the past. It has a lot of different stores now. The last time we went they had a big event on Sunday with dogs. It was fun seeing them all in the mall
Love all the new stores coming into this mall!! It's so close by to our new office and we love getting a little bit of shopping done on our lunch hours!!
Love the stores. Unfortunately, this mall has decided to only let some customers dine inside, in accordance with illegal mandates. Saw a mother and her children sitting outside in the cold eating their food from the food court the other day. Very sad that this is how they treat people.
Take your kids! They have animal shaped electronic scooters you can rent and drive your kids around the mall on. My daughter loved it.
Nice mall nice people working there. Keep it up!
A mall that has been rejuvenated in the last number of years and will a movie theater complex almost complete.
Many stores closed, not still clean and convenient.
Needs an update on the indoor playground, carpet dirty and they allow children more than 7 years old to play very unsafe for the younglings
Your typical mall full of women's clothing. It has a hallmark store, a few overprices barbers, and a decent, albeit small theatre. If your local, it's a good place, if your looking for the "mall experience", your better off at St Vital for medium sized mall, or Polo Park for large mall.
Moderately sized mall with good selection of stores. Small food court with somewhat limited selection. Nice interior, especially with the all the upgrades and renovations
Only stopped in for a TV remote. MTS store is now private and only carries phones. Very rude sales person. More luck at the Jets store where we were told about an upcoming sale, so went back the next day to purchase a gift.
Very nice mall. Small but clean. Lots of different shops. Lacking a decent anchor store. But nice none the less.
Social distancing protocols in place. Hand sanitizer at each entrance and store. Arrows directing one way walking traffic throughout the mall. Limited amount of ppl allowed in each store at a time. Found what I was looking for and the staff were very helpful.
Good variety of stores, for the most part a one stop shop depending on what your looking for ????
Not very business nice quiet place.to shop if it has what you're looking for.
It's always been a good mall to me....a lot of teenage memories here ????. I really LOVE the new additions they've added which includes an awesome new alternative to the old HMV, Urban Planet and Urban Kids!! Would have given it a 5 but that movie theater is lack luster.
Good selection of stores, good COVID protocol, and it has a JETS store.
Lots of parking, normal traffic and lots of shop to go to.
Great place to shop and do businesse
This mall actually is really good compare to 2 years ago. Lots of upgrades and more stores to shop at. Deffinatly recommend this mall over st vital.
Good mall. Polo Park is of course much better with far more options, but it doesn't have a Booster Juice! I go to KP mall to get my haircut at Modern Man and they always do a great job.
She try's to charge you more for your items and deos not give you a receipt.
This mall has gotten alot better over the years. Doesn't reflect the general transcona area at all, which is great. Hopefully the entire mall gets revamped to look like the new wing that homesense/marshalls is in and at the same time move the food court out of that utterly ridiculous area or make it bigger.
I work here and I like the malls trafic, its very decent customers here.
Kildonan place could really improve their service during covid. The staff does not cater to people with disabilities and have no common sense. It was never my favourite please to go before the pandemic but now I’d give it less than one star if i could.
It has the best Chinese fast food in the mall, fabulously service and food!
Huge step up since they renovated it, not a ton of stores inside but it's got something for everyone and the food court is pretty large.
This mall has got a little better with some interior improvements and the addition of some solid anchor tenants. The 'food court' definitely needs improvement though.
Clean, clearly marked for social distancing, staff in the stores we visited were friendly. Overall a good experience.
It's a nice mall to shop at they have truly an incredible customer service help desk for finding stores. The staff at the help are able to describe exactly why store you're looking for like the back of their hand.
A decent place to shop just like any other mall across Canada. Four stars as it has a decent selection or should I say limited choices of stores/brands compared to other malls. still a good place to shop.
Used to have baby boomers standing in people's way and chatting about how kids are too into their phones or whatever, as boomers do, but they've since opened a booth where parents can give their children go-carts disguised as stuffed animals to zoom around the mall in. With the fear that the children might not stop these 65 year-olds wearing The Who shirts are basically diving for cover and scrambling from children summoning their inner MadMax and you owe it to yourself to see it before someone gets DeathRace 2000'd and they shut it all down.
A little bit of a smaller mall, but I found some great shoes at soft moc so was perfect.
Will be nice to walk around without feeling like security is always watching you. the only reason I gave the one star is because of the h&m
Place was closed. The ONLY open entrance was on the other side (near Dollarama). For those without vehicles it is quite a trek for my appointment with Explore Mobile
Went to Bell/MTS what a rip off They lease you a cell phone, i bought damage protection and when I wanted to get my cell repaired they said it would cost 350.00$ they called it a deductible Holy frack shysters !!!! Frack you Bell Lost my business for life and everyone who reads this hopefully they know how dishonest y'all are.
This shopping mall smaller than other stores in Winnipeg. But we have stores near by for all ages. Nice place to stay and hang out.
The mall isn't a massive one. It is probably one of the smallest in the city. That said it has good stores, a week kept did court, and family friendly washrooms. Christmas and other holiday seasons are well decorated here too.
One of Winnipeg's- nay, Manitoba's greatest malls. Everything is clean and well maintained, as well as nicely decorated with the right touches. There are several convenient stores inside, providing clothes, electronics, and many more products. Overall great place.
I enjoyed checking out KP mall, my friend and I went to sketchers! I found out they sell the cutest shirts and mini backpacks. The shirts are a mix of sketchers brand and dog/cat shirts. Of course I went for the dog one that says "Bark off" and a cat one that says "you're the cats meow". Couldn't pass them up, and they're priced for 6.99 a shirt! So affordable.
Kildonan Place is great! Out of all the shopping malls in Winnipeg, this one evolved very well in the past 10 years. The mall who has lost just about every anchor tenant turned everything around bringing in stores such as Bath & Body Works, The Jets Store, Shoppers, Save on Foods and soon to be new movie theaters. Things have really turned around from a mall everyone thought nothing much of to a place to go
It has most of the shops of the bigger shopping centres. The aisles are a little cluttered; especially during the holiday season. Prices are competitive and, in some instances, somewhat better.
Can not wait until the movie theater is finished! Been waiting forever for an updated theater :D love the recent Reno!
Went here briefly for one store as it's the other end of the city for me. It's very clean and is rather nice inside.
One of the three main malls in Winnipeg, you'll find exactly what you'd expect in a mall this big. Clothes, food, accessories, anything really. Even if by chance you don't find what you're looking for, there are plenty of stores outside the actual mall, so everything is within close proximity. Clean place, good parking.
Best place it has everything malls, grocery stores , wholesales, superstore, restaurants Very spacious easy access by 75 and 47 bus routes . Best in winnipeg love to visit everytime
Not as bad as you think
Its getting kinda big boxie. It's a mall. It has lots of stores. One of those is a Kernels, cuz it's a mall...
Good selection on stores.
It's a good mall place to go for many different choices of clothing, jewellery, etc. One of the better malls in the city.
A great selection of stores and restaurants. Parking is mediocre, can get quite busy. Good customer service though and very helpful.
It's an ok shopping mall. Not stupid crazy busy. One can get a majority of their non- edible essentials.
I love lens crafters
Not the best Mall ever but got everything from A to Z. Some stores leak on quantity of products but others got all of it. Movie theater is the worst at this location (in terms of sound system). Food court has lots to choose from.
Do not go to Aura in Kildonan place, this person was pulling my granddaughter hair and she was yelling at her also. When we complaint, all they said was, it must of been a communication thing, that's was not it. She is just a rude person.
This is my favourite mall in all of Winnipeg. It has everything you need, and it’s expanding with a grocery store and brand new movie theatre.
theres was a group of 10 or 12 kids. male, between the ages of 13 to 16 being obnoxious and roaming around the mall recording everything they were doing. not the ideal place to go anyday of the week.
WHAT A TRASHY LITTLE MALL. i cant bring my famliy here or my kids will think its ok to run around screaming at the top of their lungs in the middle of the mall, I understand some people cant afford to take care of their kids better and some parents cant read the sign that says no screaming but maybe someone supervising them from the mall could say something? I read the review about having a place to take your kids so I thought we would check it out but this is just a bad example to good parents, polo park is a bit further but so clean and quiet its relaxing to shop there and the prices are the same for the same shops without the stress. dont try to have a day off shopping here you will leave with a migraine if you go near the new expansion
I love to shop here
Its KP there is not much to say, those that know it will understand. Those that dont well its its fairly clean, it is not in disrepair. The theater is lacking and some off the stores seem redundant but for the most part its ok. I just wish there was an Arcade.
Your typical shopping mall. You can find just about anything you need, but not nearly as much available as malls downtown. However if you're in the area it's the best choice for this side of the city.
Become much better over the years. Quiet and clean. Food court is the same as it was 20 years ago. I dunno maybe it's not that bad just not the number 1 or 2 top malls in the city. Store selection is more of the main stays and smaller. No real specialized stores like elsewhere.
Never crowded. Nice place to window shop and walk around when the weather isn't very nice. Great selection in the food court.
It's just a clean quiet mall. Been going to it since I was just a kid with my momma and friends. Now my daughter is taking her daughter.
Great place to shop
I love Kildonan Place especially since it’s close to home. It’s small but has everything I need. My most frequented shops are Marshalls / HomeSense and Dollarama. I especially love the side where Marshalls is because it’s always bright and clean. Food court options could be better but it has a good variety. Lots of parking spaces available too.
Great place, stores are easy to find and accessible, love there movie theater
Just love strolling inside 5his mall with Santa ???? at the centre Court ???? at this time of the year!
A shopping mall on Boxing Week. Pretty much says it all. At least it wasn't too busy and you could actually get around to the different stores without any problem.
The stores have recently been re-vamped with a large department leaving, and you will find a few stores here that other shopping centres don't have despite their size. The mall isn't overly large, but the selection of store options is enough for everyone in the household, including teens and kids.
It's a good little mall, pretty much has everything Polo and St Vital has just on a slightly smaller scale.
Decent mall. Most stores are geared toward women and younger people. I guess that's the same everywhere since males like me have something in mind when we shop and tend not to browse as much.
Kildonan place is great but we are in a middle of a pandemic! Too many people in the malls, not wearing mask and social distancing
Great little mall with movie theatre and loads of great shops like Marshals, H&M, shoppers drug mart and a few more. Not as good as polo park or the outlet mall, but very handy location with most of what you could want/need. Also located very conveniently close to many big box stores like Canadian tire, Walmart, superstore, michaels, winners etc. Quite a busy area for this reason. The mall has a good food court, and an indoor play structure for little people.
The mall looks great! Looks like they're adding a Save on Foods as well.
If you need a specific item very quickly, this is the perfect place to find it. If you're looking for a fun place to hang out on a Friday night, you may be slightly disappointed. Kildonan Place contains all of the stores and kiosks that you would expect, but otherwise there is nothing particularly special about it.
Haven't been here for a while but it certainly looks much nicer than I remember. Very clean with nice shops. I believe that it will be even better when all renovations at the old Sears location will be completed.
It's a great shopping centre I like it hopefully they add more stuff to it though
Average mall, nothing too exciting. Have a good food court.
Nice mall in this part of the city. Plenty of restaurants around and easy shopping option in and around the mall. Great guest service and great management ????????. Always good to visit this mall.
I've been there several times before. KP is a nice place for your shopping needs.
Large retail shopping center. Too many different types of companies to list all. I personally visited Shaw Cable Systems and can tell you it's a very small shop. It was crowded with not enough people working. I didn't walk the whole mall however the part that I did see had most things you would find in a large shopping center.
I would rate this facility zero. I am a 53 year old man and on the afternoon of February 25th at approximately I was sitting on a bench waiting for my wife to finish an appointment. i was tired so put my head on my arm. To my shock some young punk kicked me and told me I couldn't sleep on the bench!! Really? I gues I won't be shopping in Trashcona anymore.
They have a terrific selection of stores, but getting out of the parking lot is a nightmare. I try to avoid this mall unless I have no other choice.
Has gotten much better with the addition of H&M and Winners/Homesense. Has a movie theatre, quite a few stores, a dollarama and ample parking.
Nice to see their opening new stores. This is definitely a mall worth going to now!
Pretty decent small/mid size mall with good selection of stores and an old style flat theater. Small food court though. Seemed like it might be getting renno's
The mall is getting better. I like the new addition to the mall, it's modern and clean. The new Marshalls/ Homesense and H&M stores are opened this week, which is a big plus.
Beautiful mall, always clean and a growing selection of various stores! Love it! Only downside is the food court is small in comparison to other malls
Lots of stores to shop through, very fun to hangout at with friends. Overall a nice mall
New additions coming. It's a regional mall with decent stores... What can I say I don't like malls and only go if I have to.
Pretty basic mall. I like it because it's usually pretty quiet.
The amount of clothing stores specifically for women's underwear is frightening. I wish there was more for a male such as myself. Eg; Costco. Still an interesting atmosphere. Will probably come back.
All shops were open but very few people Lots of sales.
Kildonan Place has my favourite local mall since it opened. I filled my belly there, bought a few cell phones there and bought most of my books there to name a few. It never disappoints.
I haven't been to Kildonan Place for a long time and was pleasantly surprised upon coming into the mall at how it had changed since I was there last... Mainly I shopped at Winners and HomeSense and found some nice Treasures in there unfortunately I did not have time to venture deeply into the mall but what I saw was very nice and I will return
The mall is cleaning up but most of the shops are boutique clothes now
I went for toner at the Printer Refillers Kiosk. I highly recommend them. Service is above and beyond and very competitive.
My favorite mall in Winnipeg. There are some great stores. It's always clean and just a great place to shop.
First time there in twenty years. Very busy but well maintained. Lots of good stores but found the store I was looking for quickly, with the well placed, helpful map.
Great place to go shopping, has a wide variety of stores and has some newly renovated areas with more on the way!
Olive Garden has always been one of my favourite places to go and this one did not disappoint. The prices seem to have risen quite a bit so there is not an opportunity to go all that often but the food was good, service was good and the overall experience was good.
It has pretty much everything I need and is a bit quieter then the other large malls in Winnipeg.
The mall is making significant strides with new retailers! A much improved shopping experience.
Was still fairly busy, especially for the kiosk stores, even though we're in code Red still. But otherwise it was okay.
I used to work here back when I was a teenager. It was a decent mall back then. Going back now, I'm glad to see it has changed for the better. Adding new stores that we didn't have out in this area before! Makes things easier for me, as I don't have to drive out to Polo park anymore.
Good place to roam around. It’s a big shopping centre.
Love how KP is expanding and there’s new stores
The service there was mediocre. I went to the kiosk booth in Kildonan Place. I told her I had card so she informed me I must spend more then 20$. I had to by an eyeshadow, which she was helpful picking out but made me feel slightly rushed. It was my first time getting my browns threaded. She was fast but did not do the cleanest job. I went home and had to tweeze out hairs still and clean up my brows. All in all, would no recommend.
We wouldn't normally go to this mall but we heard there's a swords store here and we always wanted one for the wall, not much else here but we found an awesome ninja sord I never thought I'd own at the cutting edge store!
Nice shops to buy a variety of products.
Nice casual stroll through the mall!
Enjoyed the shops we visited there today! Great sales at MAURICES! Bath and Body Works was a zoo!
Good for shopping although they could add more shoe shopping places.
Always a great place to visit all you need is a few steps away !! With State& Main and Ben& Florentinos near by. CAA Travel + Insurance is also at a convenient location when necessary ????????????
Review is for Stuffy Riders kiosk, not KP (but that KP allows this place to operate, maybe KP should be held accountable?). They were slow. Ours broke down in the middle of the mall and the cashier had the audacity to tell us we'd been out longer than we were supposed to and she would charge us... I had to carry the thing back! It was bloody expensive. I'm also concerned about my privacy; they take a photo of your driver's license and claim it isn't retained. Will never ride these things again.
Nice food court. Lots of unique shops amoungst bigger ones. If one store doesn't have something, they refer you to a competitor store in the mall. Very well managed COVID protection measures across all of the merchants. I felt more safe here than in the big variety stores across the street.
Love the way KP is always changing and growing. A new store or small vendor with something new to please everyone, can't wait for the food court / theater revamp it's going to be incredible will never have to leave my end of the city !! Also hot pretzels yes please ???? if only you were pet friendly ...
Decent place to go not too crowded
Fabulous mall getting better all the time
Kildonan Place Mall is still in the process of reinventing itself after the loss of anchor tenants Sears and Target in recent years. I was surprised how busy they were this past Sunday. Have done a good job of filling the Target space but still have a large void on the west end where Sears was.
Pretty decent mall for the area, good stores stay and there's always one switching out, food court has good variety
Kid and family friendly. Has play area for young kids and family bathroom with microwave and mini toilets. Also offers stroller rental.
Enviting crowd, clean, everyone kept the 6ft distance and everyone had a mask. So we felt safe.
I love the new wing in this mall. Having Marshall's/homesense is the best! I really dislike the design of the new washroom, if there is any water in the sink from washing hands the hand dryer built in will blow the water all over- not very hygienic. The only thing this mall is missing in my books is a Sephora.
Mall is open but not all that busy. They still have Covid protocols and mandatory masks in place. Good time to come and shop. Lenscrafters is in the mall and fixed my glasses for me after I sat on them! No charge.
The KP Mall is on a major bus stop its wheelchair accessible its clean and definitely has great store options from food stores to hair products and clothing everything you will need, they also have lots of places to eat as well! Come out and check it out for your selves I promise you won't be disappointed!
Place is dated but not that bad. Actually way better inside with limited capacity. Under normal circumstances the place is super irritating.
Went in for something quick, lot of new stores there. They are doing great. Lot of progret
A nice variety of stores to suit your needs. In the past couple of years many new stores have opened. save on foods grocery store is right next door. You can find everything you need here
Clean and quiet. But the security there make you feel uncomfortable under any circumstances. It gets worse by race.
KP Mall is our go-to mall, largely because of where we live. They have most of the stores that you need in a mall and even some pleasant surprises. It's well lit and spacious in most parts. Although the food court seems a bit small for a mall of it's size. Multiple entrances for parking usually means searching for a spot is not a huge chore.
Love the local mall! Been hoping for an upgrade on the theatre for a few years now, but it's still a great spot for movies after a shopping/running errands.
More relaxed than other Malls.
One of the better malls. Not insanely busy, nor have i been asked if i have a smoke. , On that not, ya know what really grinds my gears??? How people whomvst have a habit of smoking yet never have smokes.
I went to the theatre here and it is by far the worst one in the city. Including northgate and towne 8. This place is bound to shut down if they don't do something. I've been to premieres with a handful of othwr people in the crowd how are they even making enough money to cover their bills? Simple upgrades to the chairs and improving the screens would be a good start. The screens at famous players is sooo tiny. Its closest to home but we and many others always just drive out to polo park if we go to the theatre.
Clean and modern. The clothing stores don't really have a great cost to quality ratio. The food court has a good selection.
I have been here several times. It’s a good mall but small. So you can fine basic things here but not all stores like outlet or polo park have. It’s very crowded all the times I have been there. They also have small unique stores from local …
KP is pretty dead these days. I don't think I'd travel far to shop here. Parking is great, though and it's an easy Can Tire to hit up on the way north or east out of town.
Best mall in the city before Christmas as they do the Santa & animal pictures... Otherwise a decent mall with average stores (only thing it has on other malls is the Shaw cable location)
The renovations added to the old Target is great. The new stores are geared to the younger generation. The changes have have rejuvenated the entire mall.
A lot more stores to choose from now with the expansion with H&M, Sketchers, Home Sense and Marshall's. RBC atm near guest services. Guest services employees are polite and helpful. Mall security is a bit of a joke though. One public washroom that's usually pretty clean. Small food court but lots of seating. Food court restaurants consist of: Arby's, New York Fries, Taco Time, Koya Japan, Sizzling Wok, Subway, A&W, Booster Juice, Kernels and Tim Hortons.
It's a decent place lots of shops Lots going on lots of people as well really clean well-managed every time I've been there never seen anything bad from the businesses or the people
Mall in general is clean, feel for the most part safe, looking forward to new sections being completed.
The kids can visit santa again, not sure if you have to reserve a time. My daughter hasnt gone yet.
Not many options at this mall
this is closest mall to my apartment and I like it a lot.
Huge variety of extravagant indulgence. This establishment exceeds expectations and is truly a place to behold. It would take 10 years to experience half of what this mall has to offer.
Lots of good shops. Easy parking, clean and well laid out mall. I was very dissappointed with Tip Top Tailors, where I was outnumbered, 4 to 1 by staff who studiously ignored me. After a few minutes, I left, having had no attempt by the 3 ladies in the store, and the male who scurried past me to hide in the back room, to offer any service. Perhaps that is why I was the only potential customer in the store. The lone fellow on duty at Le Chateau who was quite busy was excellent at serving all of us.
The incompetant renacops they call security banned me for a year because someone i dont know whipped out their vape by me and started blowing clouds in the food court how are u supposed to keep regular customers when u ban people for retarded reasons
Large variety of stores, not over-occupied, making it a comfortable shopping experience.
Your typical mall, nothing to fancy Could use more variety
Pretty good mall, has gone through a few identity crisis' but decent stores for sure! The new wing is very very nice!
Was at Mastermind Toys. The staff is awsome, so friendly and helpful. They are adhering to social distancing, sanitizing and wearing masks. If your looking for a cool gift, stop by!!
Quick walk through. Most stores closed due to restrictions. Found what i needed but couldn't buy. But, i know where to go to get when it reopens.
I did not go in any stores I was only window shopping.
Kp mall it's self is fairly spacious now, not as clean as it should be. Theatre used to smell of urine for years but now it's gotten so much better with more care. While shopping at Urban planet, not a single worker said hi or anything our entire experience and there was about five other customers (not busy). As I was about to purchase items, I'm told to get more for a great deal, items I picked were clearly in the same rack I had chosen other items from and with same items of different sizes and colours. They tried to get me to pay full price on those sale items that should be free.. not a good experience. Kp is become ingrained more and more diverse with more space available which is nice!
Great little mall with lots of new stores coming in making it a very functional shopping experience. Looking forward to the completion of the extension. Loved seeing a new West African food option in the food court!
Its a decent place to go for shopping. Best in the area, that's for sure.
Definitely improved with all the new shops. Wish the theatre would get an update soon!
New save on foods store unfortunately had some undesirable people around the vehicles sniffing hairspray. Really need parking lot patrols
The mall is great. You can find practically anything your looking for. They should really put some stores in where the Sears was though.
Very safe shopping mall with a decent food court. Nice place to come with kids, has a play area within mall.
Nice and clean environment. The food court is the best.
With the new renovation, Kildonan Place has really grown in size and in variety of what it offers! The food court isn't as impressive as Polo park's, but the new Winners offers a "one stop shop" for household decor, kitcheware and clothing items (often with a heavy discount).
What a mall! It's got everything: stores, bathrooms, A&W, a Pokemon go gym! What more could you need. Clean, comfortable, lots of places for spouses to sit while they wait for their partners to shop. 5/5 stars, would visit again.
Love the Mall. It’s composed, clean & quiet structure makes it an amazing place to take family & friends for a visit. It follows the covid regulations and each branded store inside is neat & tidy. Go on! Visit the mall.
It's a busy mall, not a lot of great shops but ok. Too many cell phone places though.
Have been coming to this mall for nearly 2 decades, there is always something to do. Just wish they would expand it and bring in some new stuff. St. Vital and Polo really put KP to shame.
Great place! Amazing shopping and wellness experience awaits...
1st mall i been to in Winnipeg. Not bad but could use more selection in the food court
I like it ... because home-sense and Mashel nearby so it is convenient
I keep parking at the wrong end and then walking the whole length of the mall... they do think of everything including my excercise... some day i will figure the layout properly... but for now... i walk alot in that mall...
Way too many people walking around without masks or social distancing though....the individual stores i went in though have great social distancing signs and measures they are following.
Good size mall, clean and renovations done. Need a bit more store selections.
A lot of different stores inside and around. Clean and tidy place.
One of the better malls in the city selection-wise, and the general clientele and atmosphere combine to produce a warm feel that you might be hard pressed to find elsewhere. Lotta mall walkers lol
I went with a friend as she was looking for a outfit for a wedding.
Great regional mall, perfect for quick shopping visits. All of the essentials are covered with this mall, plus... you can avoid the frenzy of other "larger" Winnipeg shopping centres.
Looks really good inside...but no Arby's anymore
Compliments to the chef once again, thanks once again for a wonderful meal, I placed another order through skipthedishes, I ordered the fettuccine carbonara with bacon an pam cheese, ceaser salad an a order of brushetta and yet another FREE order of garlic bread knots from the chef, he also gave me a free pop with my meal.. The chef also took the time to write a personal note, telling me sorry for not having the flavor of pellegrino sparkling water that I wanted, an included a free order of pop also. The food is simply amazing, by far the best Italian restaurant in winnipeg hands down. Don't pay attention to the bad reviews, the prices an portions are very reasonable, for great Italian food. Next time I'm going to bring my family to dine in, again, compliments to the chef Mike!!!
This place is pretty good now as the last time I went here it is so small and few stores. The food court is small only.
The coffee shop inside has great frozen hot chocolate !!
Been going to KP since it opened many .any years ago. Getting bored of the same old same old. I hope once new theatre section opens in old Sears area that it revitalizes the mall a bit
If you go to kildonan place park on the north side. The parking is usually less hectic. I hate the parking on the south side. Tight, busy, crazy. I haven't been in the mall for awhile. Very bright. Wide aisles. Very nice open concept. If the public needs to use a washroom they are certainly not convenient. Way down at the end of a long hallway. A very good selection of shops. Very busy food court. I prefer kildonan place over St vital because it is not as busy
A smaller mall but updated and clean. The food court has a good variety and there is a movie theater here. I was surprised to see a Ben Moss Jewellers here as I had thought they went out of business. I guess I can come here and get my rings cleaned. It's not as big as St. Vital or Polo Park but it is good for the area.
i go to the food court for lonch
Good variety of stores for those with varying incomes. Diverse food court. One of the rare malls with coin operated lockers. But if you want to catch a movie and you think it will go past mall hours, make sure you take your things out of the lockers because once the mall closes security closes the theater off from the rest of the mall. If you take a bus, you'll have to walk outside to the other side of the mall where the bus loop is. There needs to be more washroom areas. Sears has washrooms that are below par and usually freezing in winter. The washrooms in the mall sometimes get closed for cleaning and you have to line up to use the family washroom.
It's clean and renovated, just not many popular stores.
Overall a good quick stop mall! Not alot of variety for retail (clothing) but if in a hurry or passing through the peg, there's always sales and affordable stuff for anyone.
A little mall, but no to bad
Racial profiling while having lunch with my boyfriend. WE WERE LITERALLY THE ONLY ONES ASKED TO SHOW ID, it’s apparently “ protocol “ never ever going there again.
With the current covid rules we aren't really "shopping" just running in and out to pick up What you need.
Making great improvements in getting rid of unprofitable stores that no longer have any interest from consumers. Renovation of the old Target area is promising.
Great shops in the mall and some unique ones you can't find anywhere else
2nd best mall in winnipeg. Single floor layout small food court. Polo is the best (portage place kind of blows aside from a couple exclusive stores) st vital shopping center is 3rd best.
Love KP. everything u want without being too big to comfortably navigate. And yes, they now have a pretzel maker. Jackpot
A good selection of stores. Easy to get to by Transit bus. They are expanding. Soon They will have one of the newest Cineplex theatres.
Great mall, not bad of a place not to big or small just right and it's nice and flat no ramps, escalators, elevators walk, run or wheel your self to a good store :)
Very clean and organized at this mall. Would definitely come back.
Good mall. The variety of stores is good. I liked the set of stores they had from a few years ago a bit better but it's always been a nice mall to go too. You can feel safe and secure here if you are a single woman. Small man. Youth. Or elder. The food court is great. It's like a very big mini mall. Even has a pretty good movie theater.
Nice mall. Not as big as polo park but has a decent selection of stores. Food court is tiny. Parking is ample. Newly renovated bathrooms have hand driers in the tap, which is pretty cool.
Huge improvements have been made to this mall since my last visit! Much brighter, cleaner and a higher quality line-up of shops.
Very clean, but incredibly high traffic on weekends/holidays. Public washrooms kept well stocked and cleaned often. Some kiosks can be pushy. Seating in dining area is difficult to find around lunch/dinner on busy days.
Kildonan Place is an alright mall. Once the new Cineplex is up and running I'm sure it will be busy again.
Taking steps up!! Fantastic store choices and something for all ages and all kinds of people. Definitely has improved from even 5 yrs ago
This mall has over 50 stores in it. Lovely place to shop, but pls don’t put your money on it if you need groceries.
Went to toys r us in kildonan place and scored big time! Wooohooo! Bought it for 112.96 online and picked it up in the store for 127.96
I like the new renovations, but its lacking a lot of stores. Sears just closed down, leaving a whole part of the mall empty. The food court is really strange, but has one of the only Arby's in the city, so its worth it if you like Arby's. The mall's layout is very organized and is easy to get your way around. Lots of people loiter in the mall, making it almost impossible to find a seat in the food court, or to find an open bench to rest on.
Decent mall good collection of retail stores for me I found the food court to be lacking. Also was not overly busy for a weekend DO not eat at the qdoba in the lot we got food poisoning!
Not the prettiest (or cleanest) mall by any means, but it has some good stores. Love that they put a Bath and Body Works in here finally. Food court doesn't have that much of a variety. Bathrooms aren't cleaned enough. Avoid the Dollarama, you can never get down the aisles because stacks of boxes are constantly blocking your way.
A smaller mall, but always very clean. I don't find it as busy as Polo Park or St.Vital, but it's still a nice place to visit if you're in the area.
Not a bad mall. Has most of the amenities. Traffic around here is awful on the weekends. Lots of parking available.
Really nice, roomy and well laid out mall. Always clean, and the info desk people are always helpful.
A great place to window shop and hangout with friends on a budget. Plenty of food at the food court to try and if you want to have a more deliberate dining experience there's State and Main. The theatres are there for the movie-goer and there's a barber shop, salon(s), and an automated spa for those looking to looking for relaxation and conversation. The perfect spot for a rendezvous with friends if you take the bus too aside from Polo Park and St. Vital. Kildonan Place has whatever you need if you look carefully with a bit if creativity.
Variety of stores. From food to bedding to books and even catching a movie. Great place to shop. Even has a play area for the little ones to run around and blow off steam as well as ride machines.
Good shopping, good parking, accessible facilities and food options. Prices aren't outrageous. Play area for little ones and a theatre (that could use some TLC). Not spectacular but convenient for one stop shopping.
Great mall with lots of stores and places go eat. Always getting new stores
This is a medium size mall, plenty to choose from, however phone stores seem to take up more and more room. There is something for everyone.
Good stores, easy to locate
Was ok they never have what ur looking for though
I really like there new area of KP! The additions and work they’ve put in the mall really make it a nice place to be. The play area is a nice bonus for weary children and adults who need a rest! If you need a bathroom in kp, I would definitely recommend the new area as it seems to be cleaned more often and/or kept cleaner by patrons.
Local mall and I like it. Can't wait for the new stores to open in old Target space. The new Marshall home sense h and m.are the big ones opening this week.may 18. Had sneak peak today and looks very nice. They had a big opening with some cute prizes. Will go when all are open
Since the updates and added stores as well as a bathroom near the area for little kids to play I have been coming more often. It Has a decent selection of stores and is not so far a drive from home. I’d like to see the movie theatre updated as well. They charge the same amount as polo and st vital but the environment is nowhere near as nice and comfortable.
Its dying, most of the stores I wont go in because of there new covid policies. They get what they deserve
Had a brand new note 20 Ultra 5G cellular phone in the mall they went above and beyond give a great deal fix the screen and works brand new
I'm looking forward to what's in store for the redevelopment of the Sears location. A new brewery, maybe a grocery store, another curling venue or perhaps some vertical, high-density condos would help transform Transcona. As for the mall today, it remains a relevant, regional shopping destination with a great mix of local and national retailers.
Raiq and Nick were easy to work with and they helped me with all of my concerns. It took a while to get everything resolved but they did everything they could to find a solution for me. I am very happy with their service
Prices are starting to go up and I don't understand what any of the staff is saying as they do not speak any English
Pearle vision great staff helped through the whole process of purchasing glasses..From how they looked to how they felt while wearing them
The shopping mall has really turned around the last few years. Good stores and lots of parking
It's not to busy right now and I just wanted to go to the new wig store. The staff was helpful and helped me find a topper the covered up my problem hair loss.
Not the best mall in Winnipeg, But if you are on the north east side of the city pretty much the only mall within a decent range.
The new stores in the mall are Marshalls H&M and the renos really improves the experience. Now they need to do the same on the other end since Sears has gone out of business.
They have changed a lot in this mall. Newer stores, I like it better than St Vital center.
Variety of stuff and places of fun.
Soooo full man is state and main ever a good restaurant and ran so well. The management and the staff do such a good job.
It's great! Been going there for 25 years. Everything you need in one small mall
We came here for State and Main restaurant and it was delicious not too crowded the waitress took good care of us me and my husband got the pretzel bites with beer cheese sauce as an appetizer
I called for a quote twice and never did hear back from them. They apologized and made an excuse for not responding the first time. I ended up booking my getaway with the Flight Center.
I love this mall! So many options St Vital doesnt have! Like Spencers! Always stocked with iteams I can't find at St.vital and never as packed as Polo Park on NON holiday day's! They have a nail salon that doesn't last long BUT you know it's clean. I got nicked by the grinding tool and never went back lol. Overall I go here over Polo if it's not cold.
Nice guest service and I visited cellular store staff was great
Few nice stores, stopped in the food court to eat but was not pleasant at all, the whole time we were eating a whole group of unattended little kids were on these very antique looking failed theme rides screaming for mommy, staff was there trying to help them find their parents but it went on from the time we got in line to order until we finished eating. Being physically disabled it's not that easy to just left and find somewhere else to eat when you have to make arrangements to get to the mall, not coming back anytime soon atleast not to eat while shopping if there is a drop off area for abandoned children next to the table
Okay this is my neighborhood mall and I have been here probably a thousand times. There hasn't been much change in the 10 years I've been coming here, many of the stores in here are decent and finding a sale is easy. Can't give this place more than 3 stars however, since they're selection is pretty boring. Almost all the shops sell the same things. Almost all the kiosks are for cell phones. Almost all the restaurants (save a few) are garbage places I would never eat at or would only order from because I am starving. The sears is truly dismal and the lineups in there take way too long. The Timmie's is quite a long line up too. Why do you guys even have Sirens? It never changes its overpriced (yet cheap quality) selection. On one occasion I went into the Source and was accosted, sworn at, intimidated and threatened by one of the sales associates in there, which by itself ruined the experience for me and the reason I could never rate a full 5 stars. The things I love most about KP are things most people would probably ignore or not think of. The play area is great for younger kids and my son loves it there. We play here quite often and it is regularly the focal point of our visit. In addition to this I absolutely love the bathroom area. The convenient lockers and TV (often set to cartoons) is a small joy. In the bathroom there is a microwave which is wonderful because I was able to use it on numerous occasions to warm up a bottle or a bit of food for my baby. I also like the comfy seating here which makes waiting pleasureable. All in all KP is a great mall, good customer service and maintenance staff, I plan to continue shopping here but I really wish they'd get some new clothing stores. The ones I go to there seem to sell pretty poor quality clothing and so I've really stopped buying much from here. Otherwise this place would deserve 4 stars.
Great service no lineups selection for products I wanted was good
Not a mall person so for me it's ok
This mall has really improved over the past few years. I have appreciated them filling the empty stores (hard to do in this era) and adding some fun store options. I love shopping at H&M and urban kids. The dollarama is great to have right in the mall. Makes it kind of a one stop shop in winter when I don't want to go out in the cold multiple times. I usually find what I'm looking for when I go to KP. Great mall
Bathrooms are dirty, place needs a good cleaning
Too big mall with confusions. There should be more sign boards or directions to guide public. Some shops are good. Overall not too good, not too bad. Just your average shopping mall.
Bought my clothes from H &M at kildonan place, the mall is not too big but my daughter loves their play ground.
One of my favorite malls in the city and more so with the additional expansion plus the many stores and restaurants in the area. Everything very centralized.
Avoid peak times and you shouldn't have to wait to get into stores.
I have been going to this mall for a long time I usually find what I'm looking for weather it's a Christmas gift or something else
It has the main stores needed without the over crowded of bigger malls.
The shopping experience has been improved since the renovations started. I think I'm going to shop here more often ????
This mall used to be a 3 star... but I've up'ed it to 4 as I appreciate the improvements & am looking forward to the new theatre. Still some work to go to getting the mall where it should be to support the East side of the city, but I'm liking the direction they're heading.
Not a family place. Gangs and mobs of teens always fighting and no police or security of anykind . The first things we see walking in the door is teens screeming at each other playing loud music in the doorway and the same thing by the family bathrooms also got asked for spare change by 2 separate people the same nite inside the mall annd the same things in the way out at the different door with a different gang of kids. Worse that downtown mall
Our children were playing in the children's area in the hallway and a large man wearing a mask starting preaching to God and touching everyone's children, why isn't there security watching this area all the time? Don this mall care about childr3n safty? He was arrested afterawhile but they should have been their watching all the time
Lacking in almost all ways. It's kind of weird. Like if you've ever visited a small town that hasn't had much economic development in the last 30 years, and they have one major shopping hub and it's an indoor strip mall... that is what it is EXACTLY like. Sorry, but it's true.
The only place I can find what I'm looking for in shoes, movies, clothes and get eye brows done. I feel sexy and awesome. I leave with a big smile. It's awesome.
I love browsing this Mall along with others. It's the place I go for healthy smoothies, movies, take out food, and it is very convenient.
It's a decent mall with an average amount of shops. There is nothing wrong with it but simply not the best place to go shopping.
We was leary enough to let our kids run around in a play center that only cleand once a day but nobody works their when something happens to help. Isnt it illigal to have childcare with no staff super vision?
Fair. Nothing too noteworthy, it's a mall. Very popular and busy.
One of the better shopping mall within the city, great location, excellent services provided by this facility. Great selection of stores within the facility, clean & well kept. Friendly area for all ages, well established amenities within.
Mall was empty due to covid I'm sure, eating in the food court is limited and a few restaurants are no longer there.
Went to skechers and got walking shoes! They r great!!!
Now that there is a marshalls/homesense and H&M and Urban planet the mall has improved for shopping. I still that it has too many cellphone stores. I believe 6.
Though Sears is gone, there are still many popular stores located here. It is easy to park relatively close to any one of its several entrances.
Always able to find some nice things for the wife and kids here.
They made good effective use of the space target once occupied. The mall is ok, not much of a compelling reason to come here if it is out of your way.
The mall has potential, but still lacks the appeal of St. Vital or Polo Park. The addition of more recognizable branded stores should assist with this.
Classic Mall. I like KP it's small but feels open and manages crowds very well.
Called the mts store to see if they had 3 of the same phone in stock to upgrade out family plan the girl could not hear me sounded like people were screaming being attacked she tell me it's the mall daycare infront of thier store, she tell me to go to polo park is nice quiet and clean
KP mall is a great mall. Recently renovated but still pretty nostalgic with alot of shops that you wouldn't see in any other malls nowadays. It's like stepping back in time to the 90s. They even have a tiny theater in the mall. Nice addition of Marshall's homesense to the mall.
It's a smaller mall but close to my area. It has recently expanded to include H&M, Home Sense, and Urban Planet which is nice. It is also in the vicinity of many other stores surrounding it such as Walmart, Canadian Tire, Costco, and many others
I love the smaller feel of this mall, I get quite anxious at bigger malls but kp definitely tops them all for me. Though this mall doesn't have as many stores as others I think that makes the shopping experience much better, you have much more time to go through and look at products because there aren't so many places you have to rush through! The food court could be a little bigger with some better health options since they dont carry very many vegan cuisines but despite that I love the mall and all its little stores and lovely coffe shops!
Clean nicely set up, good variety of stores
The mall is quite small in size, actually really small. They don't really have a huge variety of brands to shop from or anything. It's just pretty basic. It's not the kind of mall you go to on Sunday and spend half of your day there, its more of like a weekday casual evening visit mall.
Amazing place, great choice of shops, and I got an amazing hair cut there!
Nice big mall in Transcona. Shocked to see the old Sears building being demolished. Wonder what will go there in its place. Lots of stores in the mall to choose from. Ample free parking closet to two major roads (Regent and Lagomediere) as well as Club Regent Casino.
I like kp mall I have been going there since I was a kid living in east kildonan. Great place to get everything you need. The only thing I would appreciate more is since I'm older now I'd love a place to plug in my electric car.
Needs a different variety of stores, more updated stores, but other than that it's a very nice mall.
The Mall, unlike others does not have many empty shops. But it also has basically nothing interesting for Men.
Less crowded and fun to hang out there...best H& M store there..
They've been doing a good job of updating this mall. It looks fresh and clean. There are newer stores. Lots of parking. And, the kids' play area is a hit with my 3-year old daughter.
It is very nice. washrooms are clean and my kids loved it. And it has lots of stores to chose from
Always pleasant taking a little stroll through the mall... Great food and staff throughout!
A great variety of stores and all practice safe covid rules.
Building more stores... KP mall is decent. You might miss other stores comoared to Polo but you can usually find what you need at KP
I went for the EB Games and Antlers. Antlers has the best catnip mix anywhere.
Big line ups today..tried to hold us up.Told security we had haircuts then he let us in.
Small screens in the theatres
Mall is clean. Lines are not too bad was at Bath and body love that store
Never had a really bad negative experience here. Only thing that would be nice is the kids play area, would be bigger. Also do they clean the toys in the kids play area? Nice they have cameras watching the kids zone and there is hand sanitizer close by that never seems to be empty, good job to the mall for keeping it full!
We always have a good meal here. There was a bit of a mistake today. Don't order the sliders. They were very nice about it. I would always recommend State and Main!
Clean. Good selection of stores. Easy to get in and out of.
I took my 2 children to go see Santa on Christmas Eve. We got there just after 2pm, the website said they closed at 3pm. So we got all ready, cabbed it down out of little money we had and when we got there to stand in line, there was a lady in glasses and long hair that said we couldn't get in line! It wasnt even 2:30pm yet, I basically begged her because my kids were really excited and happy to see santa but she just shrugged us off and said "Sorry". If your going to have a dead line for line ups then give everyone a warning to prevent such disappointment in parents and their children! Its Christmas eve.. how could we afford to make it to garden city from Kildonan Place mall with a little bit of money.. Merry Christmas to whoever that girl was. To the Santa Clause team. MERRY CHRISTMAS !!! :(
Family friendly. Has indoor play area for tots, an walking space for when it's too cold (or wet) outside. They have the best Koya in the city.
Always a great place to shop or have a coffee while little one plays in the kids area , And love the ride on machines worth it more then the dollar rides
Good variety of stores.
They've really improved the look of the mall and the new stores definitely increase my desire to shop there!
The new protocol as of today is supposed to be one member per household unless you are a child that is unable to stay home by thereself or a person that is disabled? I see some of the security letting customers in especially the ones that are holding hands and warning them to pretend that you don't know each other. I also see so many people of young generation holding hands and talking to each other. I am thinking wow, I see why our cases aren't going down. I just went to shaw for my personal business and went back to the same doors I entered and talked to the same security guard that allowed them in.I said to the security guard so your the allowing those people in and warning them but all those young generation are holding hands and chitchating standing there, also said to him is that the way this pandemic will ever stop? I don't think so!! Kildonan Place you need to speak to your security guard company and get them on the right page for the safety of your customers and before you get fined and or shut down for not following the restriction rules!!
Stores limited shoppers, lots of sales and the wait to get inside the mall wasn't that long at all!
Your most basic of shopping centers, structure is aging, but definitely has some anchor stores to bring people in. Unfortunately Transcona and the surrounding area doesn't get much love due to lower population density and poor traffic infrastructure. Instead of being a destination for shopping, it mainly draws local consumers. A bit of investment and increased renovation could make it compete with some of the other malls in Winnipeg and pull shoppers to this area.
I have been here and seen it all but two restaurants gat me coming back everytime, The Afv restaurant seeks African food and it’s awesome . Still can’t get over the meat pie I ate. And my favorite Chinese food was so delicious ????????????I love the chicken and it’s been long I ate Chinese rice so it’s really great. There is a movie theatre and it’s a great place to chill
Clean and spacious, with a wide variety of stores. Not huge, but large for a neighborhood shopping centre.
I live close to this mall and visit often. I can't understand the person who posted about the noise of screaming kids. I have never experienced this no matter time of day I have shopped here. Some people are just professional whiners.
Run, don't walk to AFV kitchen in KP. Our first time trying West African food. The flavors were amazing and the roasted chicken just fell off the bone and the plantains were meaty, slightly sweet and a nice contrast to the spicey heat.
Lots of stuff for the house reno and more. Good return policy
Always have what you need. Just wish the food court was a bit bigger and a better selection... The new section of the mall is nice
Can't wait to see it once the expansion is finished. Great place to shop but limited with regards to store selections.
Recently renovated, although the new section has nothing asthetically in common with the old. Great selection of stores, but the old section does need a facelift. Nice little play area for the children to run off some steam.
Last time I was there, months ago,it has been upgraded with new stores. Seemed bigger.
Variety of brands to shop from and always has good deals!
Went to look for crypto bank machine Noone in the whole mall knew where not even info booth. Was leaving mall had to use washroom And there it was. Really bad location please move it
Small cozy mall. I like that it isn't always too crowded like bigger malls. And it has most major stores. Marshall's, h&m, american eagle, even a shoppers drug mart.
Love going to KP as it's so laid back. Not over crowded which is what I enjoy the most about this mall. The mall has enough stores to give you a variety of options.
Smaller mall. It's most often quiet and clean. The food court is way too small but having a booster juice 50ft away slightly make up for it.
Haven't been to this Mall in years . It has improved somewhat. Good selection of stores .
It's great, a nice location, it has variety for a cozy mall, however, it''d be better if they have more shops that are local businesses.
Average mall ,nothing special ..more people just walking around window shop ,yet they have a health food store several hair dressers ,a decent cinima with comfortable seat ..the air is fresh ,you can rent animal figures for the kids to.ride on ..a general fast food court .. lots of parking etv
Amazing mall to visit. It has a nice food court, lots of varieties of places and shops to look at and an amazing overall rating.
It's got a real good selection of Snow Baby figurines at the Carlton Cards, and they have a Gizmos Galaxy that is not to bad for some Anime stuff.
many homelss and bums begging for change as portage place, a playground that is a contageous to the kids in it and the ears of everyone trying to shop around it and a popular hang out for hoodlums around the entranceways (not the front of course) waiting to see who has something worth stealing since there are no security in noisy end of the mall and the change machine eat my money after paying ourages atm fee to get money for it
Went looking for a cell phone case. Of all the cell phone places in there not one had the case I was looking for. Gizmo's was the only one that had it but wrong color. Not the malls fault but frustrating non the less.
Lots of stores lots of sales
This mall follows covid regulations properly, is clean and has a relaxed environment
There was the store I wanted to go to easy access, sketchers and went in. There were hundreds, picked a pair and left. The lady behind the counter, at first I thought she was very rude but then as mothers,we don't know what may have happened earlier, so I give her a pass.
Its your average mall, well it used to be. Now malls are bigger but have the same stores with the same type of product. But I did like taking the kids theres to play in the play area, sadthing is they took it out. And with this covid going on its become more empty.
New stores, easy to access various areas, decent parking (except at Christmas), nice theater, Help Desk staff were courteous and very helpful.
Kildinan Place has evolved a lot since the renovated and welcomes in more stores. Great not to have to drive across town to find decent shopping!
Was not too busy. It was a little hard pushing my great granddaughter in her stroller around the tables in the food court.
Just the right size. Plus if youre lucky you may hear one of the janitorial staff singing old classical songs. He's really good
My first visit to KP mall since the renovations. Definitely an improvement to the atmosphere. However the concept of the mall is a dying breed. The selection of stores is good, but the experience doesn't bring you to the mall, the stores that you are already going to the mall for and that is all.
Love this mall. Not too big but everything you need and the food court is great. Love it that you can have a good pedicure and right across is Valhalla Spa which I highly recommend. I find adequate parking and as a senior it's the only place for my limited energy.
Not much selection of stores.
It's not the biggest but seems to have everything needed. Not overly busy either.
Went to Shaw cause I wasn't having any luck scheduling an appointment on the phone or live chat , the in person way worked much better , didn't have to wait too long . I also went and got a hair cut at Regis , the hair stylist was very gd and very pleasant
Some new stores, food court, theatre, looking good, lots of parking.
Malls like this should not be opened right now. The stores are crasy with rules about masks and touching things but out side the store in the hallway none of that matters groups of people huddled together chdren climbing allover play rides spreading germs no body cleaning anything or distancing. We had to walk through aboutb20 teenagers crowded in the doorway had to ask them to move just to get in but then all the stores act as if my kids can not be anywhere near each other in thier store. How can it be safe for crouds of teens to fill the doorways and squeeze many of them to one couch in the hallway but my children can stand side by side in the phone store when we come together? It looks like nobody knows what they are doing. They need to have one set of rules when you go to this mall and not change in evry part of the building
My first time shopping there exciting to see all the shops Got my mom's phoned fixed at the klinic courteous and friendly I shall be going back soon ????
Hardly any shops open. Heard a guard say some don't open until 11am. Nothing special. That's all they have in Transcona.
Love going here to shop nice atmosphere don't get hounded by people trying to sell stuff
Out of all the Winnipeg malls this is the more modern looking one
Nice small mall. Too bad so many stores are closed
Great place for families to shop and spend time, I wish the food court wasnt so far from the kids play area, we would love to be able to get a cup of coffee while our kids play but its too far to leave them and we can't tell how long the line will be until we get to that end of the mall. Otherwise this mall is a 10! (Parents may also spend more money at the food court while there kids play if we were staring at it all day lol)
Very good experience, I got new phones and did a lot of Christmas shopping, one of the best malls I would say.
The mall is great or window shopping, seating in the food court is great can always find somewhere to sit. Great vibe and very clean.
When going to see a movie with my friend we found half the machines dont work there but it is an overall good place to find something youve been looking for due to all the stores
Nice place to shop. Great selection of stores. Newly renovated section tops any mall in the city.
Felt like i was going to a bar getting ided by a security gaurd at the food court. Wish i was 18 again. :P
Loved it here. Picked out a nice pair of shoes at Foot Locker
Get a Starbucks and you'll get 5 stars. Would like to see the rest of the mall all fancy like the new wing, but I know that's expensive and takes time. I hope you get something great where sears used to be. Food court is decent and usually has plenty of available tables, good variety of stores and it doesn't have the insane parking issues other malls do. Although I've never been here on Black Friday or Boxing day.
Nice lovely main floor only one love it.
Functioning at 90% rate. Visit there today for your shopping ???? needs.
We are in the pet store that is not allowed to have animals in the mall right next to a kids zoo so loud we had to leave to bad they opened a location in the mall we will not be back
Most staff and shoppers were masked..social distancing wasn't an issue..awesome experience!!????????????
They have made vast improvements with this mall and continue to do so. Marshall's was one of the best additions. Although it is small in comparison to st vital and polo park, they have quite a variety of stores to shop at. The theater definitely not as good as the other malls though.
Great bought shoes.. had lunch, it's nice to get out and just browse Kildonan place has everything.
It was a decent mall to shop a good few shops and easy to get around.
This mall was great until they removed the play structure for toddlers so parents can bring their kids.
After walking the mall polo park for a few years every morning since we retired. Some new friends told us this mall offered the same thing but earlier. They didnt tell us instead a pleasant walk to conversate with other people our age this was only for younger people who walk around listen to music because the halls are filled with screams from thier abandoned children left in a playpen in the middle of the mall while they walk around not wanting to care for them. We will never be returning to this mall it should be illegal to set up an place for parents to abandon thier kids with not employees to watch them . I could not imagine leave our children in a care facility with nobody watching them, this is probably why there are so many hooldem children, no one caring for them its not the daycares problem its not the parents everyone just walks away leaving them screaming
Quick and easy by appointment only to the cellphone store .. security seemed stand offish though .
Great store variety. Not very busy if you go in the morning.
The most "average" mall in Winnipeg. Food selection in the food court is much better than Garden City Mall, as well as store selection. Parking is rarely a problem except during the holidays.
If someone was scamming people out of my house, I would be responsible for what was going on. Kildonan Place is not the slightest bit concerned about customers getting ripped off completely by vendors in their mall, as long as they get their rent from them. I'd never recommend anyone going to that mall and I regret ever going there. No integrity, they may pay you lip service but don't expect customer service.
Enjoy doing shopping trips to KP. Never used to go until I found out they have mobile carts for people with disabilities. I wouldn't think of going to any mall that doesn't provide this service. Thank You Kildonan Place shops.
KP Mall can be a real shopping experience at this smaller mall. Good selection of stores and Pay Less grocery store is attached if you want to pick groceries up before heading ????. ???? home!
Nothing really exciting here anymore....just take the kids here to check out "showcase" & Dollarama
It's so considerate that your mall allows indoor smoking at the children's play area and no mall employees anywhere to be found, I guess employing someone to watch over an area deticated to families and children is to much to ask for our health and safety nice to know you care.
This mall sounds like a unsupervised daycare of badly behaved kids abandoned by welfare shopping parents, CFS should look into how anyone can run a day care with no supervision or staff what so ever. We asked the information desk if the daycare ever gets cleaned but it seems nobody wants to go anywhere neer it not even the parents
Bell MTS was helpful. My friend got a phone she wanted. Enjoyed the new stores. Love the modern look. Will be back soon.
I’ve always come to this mall, and have liked it there. But my mom recently broke her leg and due to the coronavirus, they do not have electronic scooters to use. I find it sort of pathetic, because we’ve been to many other stores that allow people to use these scooters. It’s not difficult for an employee to take 2 minutes to sanitize a scooter, but it is difficult to crutch around a mall for an hour, and this doesn’t just apply to my mom. This is very inconvenient to many others who may need to use these.
A great place to shop. You can get almost everything from clothing, food accessories, grocery, phone sim card connections, shoes, Winter jackets and other winter clothes at a very reasonable price. I suggest to visit this place during boxing week which just changes the whole experience. Everything is even more at a discounted rate. They have stores like mountain warehouse, call it spring, dollarama, shopper's drug mart, etc all in store. Also wallmart is 6 mins walk from the mall.
My local mall. Easy to navigate send has loads of parking. With the ongoing expansion, one can only hope for even better
I don't do malls much these days as mobility is an issue. I was in search of boots and there are several stores to check out. Happy to see they have scooters available at customer service, if needed. Also, plenty of places to sit, and that helped with this visit.
Busy. I went stopped at Customer Service, Call it Spring, Boathouse, Urban Planet and Dollarama. Everyone at these stores was very friendly and helpful.
Good stores and peeps
Been coming here for years. Many great cheges and additions. Always a fun time. Awesome stores.
Decent mall with a random but good selection of stores
Good place to shop decent speed for most stores usually average (4-15min) depending on line and staff on hand
Not a mall to do business with easily. We have been trying to open a Christmas kiosk before covid-19 and again this year. But it location is everything and the location we wanted last time by a main entrance was supposedly occupied and again this year. Last time we asked about that spot and was told it was occupied through the Christmas season the only things that were there in that entire entrance way we wanted were garbage cans, plants change machines Etc. But they claimed those were spoken for by annual tenants. Again this year, I assume this is a scheme to charge more by making it look like those spots are high in demand but the stores around them told us there have never been kiosks there at Christmas ever. I can see why there are reviews complaining that there are no new fresh stores in this mall they don't seem to want them here, great hot sauce store in the Outlet Collection and stvital soon if your looking .
This mall hasn't really changed at all since I frequented it daily 30 years ago... Even the food court is the same.... Seriously needs a major overhaul. Not worth visiting. I would rather drive to St. Vital mall or Polo park hands down. The movie theater has one upgraded theater room and 4 tiny old school ones. Tear it down and rebuild!!!
KP mall is becoming a nicer place with the addition of what everyone says are going to be big box movie theatres. This is a very clean and modern mall and big enough so you can plan shopping for a whole afternoon. Many small stores with clothing, books, music, games, outdoor stuff, cellphones all brands, food court, Marshalls, Shoppers Drugmart, Timmys, big pretzel place, Dollarama, restaurants, Autopac, Spencers, shoes, and toy animal rides for kids. Access from front and back (Reenders) and Walmart and Superstore across Regent and Canadian Tire on the East side.
Just ok, Marshall and Home Sense were great additions but still lacking exciting new stores
This mall is much better than st.vital. it has more room to walk and fewer wings making it easier to find your way around without getting lost. The only bad part is the food court. There are not nearly enough restaurants to choose from and I dont really care for the selection they have.
Visited the sketchers store and Marshall's. Got great sales at both places. They had a wide variety of products to choose from. Was happy with my visit and purchase.
A very straight forward mall... go in to where you wanna go... get what you need and chill... lots of restaurants around the neighborhood ... lots to do...
The mall maybe small but they have good deals and the staff ate very accomodating. My son forgot his bag and the staff kept it and was returned to us.
