REVIEWS OF SilverCity London Cinemas IN London

Andrew Miller

I loved the chairs and how much space there was in theatre 3. It's still in the Cineplex family so it had way too many ads before the movie so I can't give it a five star.

Brad Mills

I like the IMAX screen, but they ruined the Scene program. Haven't been going as much. Used to be that 1000 points would get you in an IMAX 3D movie, now it's 2000 points. They are slowly ruining the Cineplex experience. No refills on pop and popcorn anymore, Scene point value halved, soon cheap Tuesday will be a thing of the past, and after that they will get rid of the complimentary showers.

Alexander Lock

very nice place. a couple years ago, they made some major changes in order to compete with netflix and pirating and i think it's paid off. the seats are huge, and there are wayyy less seats in the theater now. they recline, and are comfortable. I've never and will continue not to purchase concessions in the silver city, when for the same price a quick trip to bulk barn across the street will yield so much more candy/snacks etc. the floor is ... well good thing it's dark. permanently sticky and occasionally crunchy. is it too loud? possibly. The staff is friendly.

James Erskine

Always a fun time when we go to see a flick. The customer service is very good, and the popcorn is to die for.. but seriously though, what movie theater popcorn isn't? The washrooms have been clean each time I've used them. The movie showing rooms have been cleaned very well each time.. no stickiness lol. The reclining seats are a much welcomed upgrade. The sound quality and picture quality are unmatched. I will always continue to go to this theater in London. +1

Laurie Amaral

My favorite theater is Wellington 8. The seats are wider & more comfortable. Personally I find the 4D & 3D a waste of $. I don't see much difference & it bothers my eyes. Sneak a drink or $1 store goodies in your backpack or purse because prices are astronomical. The only good time to go is a Tuesday price wise.

logan allison

The IMAX is really good for marvel movies

Logan P

It's sad that London does not have a true IMAX experience as the one here is a LieMAX (much smaller screen than classic IMAX theatres). There's not enough seating here if you want to go and have some food before the movie either, which is also unfortunate, but the arcade has some cool games and its an otherwise decent place.

Jacob Matthews

Theatres are clean. Many have been upgraded to the new faux leather reclining chairs. Size of non-imax screens still varies from great to inappropriately small, so it's worth asking about if you're seeing a low-traffic film. The food is decent for theatre food, and as expensive as any.

Amanda Fletcher

Had a great movie night at this theatre. Very comfy seats, and big screens. Always a great place to go out with family and friends.

John Fingal

IMAX Is just a little more larger than a regular screen, guess they lowered the specs of high quality. Movie was great, experience was lacking.

Mitch

Great movie theater. Gets very busy during peak hours. Ordering tickets ahead of time is highly recommended.

Frankie Ramos

Great place to go watch a movie.

Ronaldo Seven

For my whole entire life, this is my only movie theatre I have gone to which is Silver City Cineplex at CF Masonville Place. I know the popcorns, hotdogs, nachos, pizza and drinks are expensive, but if anyone has a Costco membership. You can buy the Cineplex General Admissions that includes two exclusive tickets and food for $30.00, and they do have one for children’s. I go to CF Masonville Place 3 to 5 times a week, and even though I live in the east end of London, Ontario which is a 15 minute drive to get to CF Masonville Place. It is most likely you must have a debit card to purchase your tickets from the machine. I cannot wait for the upcoming Marvel’s Venom Movie and the Transformers’ Bumblebee Movie as there is four more months left of this 2018 year. I cannot wait for new movies in 2019, and I am definitely buying food and drinks while coming to see a movie at my Silver City Cineplex in CF Masonville Place. I highly recommend this Silver City Cineplex in London, Ontario besides the other location at Westmount.

Justin

Years ago I went to a Cineplex and saw Shrek 3. The movie was horrid and I have never been to a theater since....until now. After returning to this realm, and viewing Danny DeVitos directorial debut 'Star Wars' I can firmly say I am glad to be back!

Angie Rooyakkers

Love going here. I still don't like that you need to book your seats. But I love the big comfy lounge chairs

Tayler Phillips

I don't go to the theater often but reclining chairs were an awesome surprise! I get my tickets through Costco and pay for the upgrades from there to make the experience even better!

Dylan JC

Great seats and leg room. In most cities you'd have to pay for VIP seating to get such cushioning and leg room

Brent 77

great place to enjoy a movie. no better way to relax after a long afternoon at the mall then relaxing in their extra comfy recliners. its sometimes hard to keep your eyes open! friendly staff. excellent atmosphere. wide selection of movie snacks and full on meals! love coming here always in for a great experience.

Gabryel Rose

The prices for tickets and concessions are substantially higher than other theatres in the city. However, my fiancee's ring fell when he was throwing out the garbage this evening and we were very impressed with the manager on duty, and two employees - Carlos and another gentleman. They sifted through the garabage and eventually found the ring. Above all else, we will remember how kind the staff were.

Matt Hewerdine

great theater. but the food is too pricey

Patrick Kania

Went to see Mary Poppins super comfy reclining chairs less people at the night time shows so it was perfect. polite staff let me know when the theatre room was clean and ready to sit in.

Arius MacLeod Paschakis

Went to the imax theater to see Captain Marvel. Movie was great, however the seats in imax are smaller now than the normal theaters. Would rather the normal theater since its much more spacious.

Akhil Yohannan

This was my first time at a movie theatre in Canada and I should let you all know that, it’s worth spending your money. From the staffs till the seat and movie quality are just amazing. IMAX is the best. Loved it ????

A Y

Seats aren't good for reclining in. Had like 5 break down in my theatre. Also awful for taller people. Staff and food were good though, movie was good too.

Mac User

well, the place is alright mostly busy and crowded and for new release movies even though website says that all their chairs are recliners some theatres ( the big ones that fits a lot of people ) are still with the old style not so comfy chairs. overall I had a good experience

Tom Honsinger

I like being able to see free movies with my scene points, but other than that it's not worth paying for tickets here. The seats are much more comfortable at imagine cinema downtown or landmark and they both offer free refills on popcorn.

Sammi Alberta

Never a better time then now to go. There's no strangers close by breathing on your popcorn. Nobody trying to get a little feely feely, finally I can book ahead.. sit with just my friends and there's nobody there to talk over the movies on me !!

Patrick Duriez

A good theatre. Seats are comfortable, and seat reservation means you can arrive without risk of sitting in a terrible location.

David Ospina

Clean place. Polite staff. the new recliner chairs are amazing. i always have a good experience here except the food is way over priced, and when its a opening weekend good god go early if you want to sit with a group. KOALAGANG

Roy Nichols

Clean and follow covid protocol. It was nice to see a movie again!:)

Amer Khuzam

Well taken care of with the Covid craziness

Alex Crawford

Prices are insultingly high, $30 for two people to see a movie? Come on. And although food and beverages are always expensive in a theater, they're REALLY pushing it here. Be sure to see only "R" rated movies here, otherwise the screaming and poorly behaved children in the theater will ruin your overpriced movie experience.

Jason Bates

I like to goto the movies and get snacks.

Jennifer Olise

The drinks and snakes are really overpriced, the seats are super comfy, and the workers are really nice, never had a problem with them. What do you want it's the movie theaters.

Warren Shrigley

Our Go-To place for movies, especially in IMAX. Have always found the staff super nice and the theatre is very clean. Snacks are expensive but what else is new when you go to the movies...

Chris Frank

Great job with covid protocols

Sam Van Bremen

New seats are great!

Chris Reid

We always have a great time seeing a movie here, and seats are reserved that makes things easy. As with any movie theatre the concession fees are crazy, but the staff is great and the snacks are delicious!

Amal Xavier

I really love Silvercity cinemas. It's like the only theatre I've visited in London. My most recent visit was when i went to watch Shang Chi and the legend of the ten rings with my roomies. All of us had a great experience with the quality of the picture, the sound and the overall experience. The seats were so comfortable even the general ones and i personally saw the movie in D-Box which was another great experience in itself. I'd recommend Silvercity cinemas to everyone that wants to experience films in theaters.

Jamie Beebe

Excellent customer service. I was waiting for my daughter to come out of Dune (didn't realize it was a 3 hour movie) with my 1 year old and the attendant let us just wander around inside while we waited. Another attendant outside was super polite and friendly. The place was clean and exciting. Everything you expect from a movie theater.

Jessica Rodrigues

Friendly staff, clean cinemas, good variety of snacks and very comfortable reclining chairs. 1 star off for the lack of allergy friendly options.

ZAC SMASH!

Not busy at all. Great staff. Very helpful. ID and VACCINE PROOF is mandatory at the front lobby upon entering. It's easy going though. Ticket sales are offered all over the place - ticket booth, registers, and at concession registers! Place is spotless and seating is spaced out. They have accommodated everybody with everything. One negative though is that concessions and machin pricing is extra expensive. Like outrageously expensive. 550 ml bottle of coke is just shy of 6 dollars at the machine. Guess cuz of covid they had to put the cost onto us for loss of business? Ticket prices seem to be their normal cost from wut I paid. 20 bucks for imax 1 person. Is that normal? I can't remember lol still was a great experience for my first time back.

Sukwoo Choi

There are Nice staffs and it is a very clean theatre. The seat was very comfortable. The room temperature has been appropriate to watch the movie.

Daniel “Double D to the K” Koziara

I like to come here and puff some magic dragon before I watch a movie in IMAX, staff is super nice and offer free refills, place is always clean, besides the occasional annoying teenager this theatre is top notch.

Levon Cross

Last experience was poor. We had left halfway into the movie due to a noisy group actively reclining their seats up and down (motor noises) and staff not addressing it. Movie goers asked them to quiet down, asked management to address disturbance, but no warnings were given out. Not until a refund was requested did it seem to elevate the issue which was frustrating.

Mr Singh

Theater is amazing and seats are very comfortable especially now that there are recliners in every show. But please, what about the cleanliness?? Omg just look at the pictures, its disgusting. Make me not want to sit there. Please take time to clean cup holders cause it's not good!!!

Amy Tepper

From the beginning we couldn't enjoy the movie, the volume was deafening. Two other people left 20 minutes into as well. Definitely will not be going back to the theatres after this.

Ojan Khosravifar

Very clean movie theatre with nice seats and high quality video. Very affordable on Tuesdays.

Vivek Alby

I like the place as it has access to everything. The place is nice too.

Allan-Lei Dunque

I love the recliners! It makes movie watching more relaxed. Staff are courteous too! Also, thank you for your commitment to freedom by showing Unplanned. It's nice to be informed.

Talon Vanslack

I forget my Umbrella here one time, and after reaching out to there corporately run Cineplex Facebook page the next day, they told me that this location actually had it there and I was able to pick it up

Higgs Bonbon

Comfortable seating, good staffing, overpriced concessions, but I paid for my ticket and most of my popc6with Scene points. Go see Sonic the Hedgehog, even if just for Jim Carrey.

Sami Albayoumi

Terrible cast members. The cast threatened to call the cops on me for no reason. Harrased me Infront of a cast. Covid-19 QR was clear and my ticket was checked. Never expecting anything from this theater.

Chiemela Iwegbulem

Wonderful cinema. The recline chairs even give you a more comfy feeling. You will definitely enjoy your movie experience. Just make sure to get your movie tickets in time, especially if it is a blockbuster movie. So you do not miss out on the back seats.

Dolcy Dhingra

Their service is really good, their recliner leather chairs are amazing, their staff is trying their best to make sure everyone is following covid protocols.

Marilyn Gauvin

glad to be finally back to watch movies in this theatre! extremely clean and well organized-I felt safe here. Really enjoyed the clean, comfortable recliners. Reserve online.

Vanessa Brown

Boy, has this place gone downhill. Went out to see Mission Impossible and thought we'd splurge on what we remembered as London's posh movie theater. Are they planning on closing it down? Stale popcorn, raggedy displays, gone are the coffee and nice food they used to have. No one to sell you tickets if you can't use the debit machines. Oh, and the best part: no free refills on large size items. Won't ever go back. Feels like it's only being abandoned.

Foxspot ___________

Extremely comfortable seats and since all of the theatre rooms are smaller there is less crowd noise, making every seat a good seat.

David K

Honestly I was shocked how amazing the seats were and only paying $12.50 for a movie ticket. The seats were amazing, the theatre was clean and there was an arcade near the concession stand. Great theatre :)

Daniela Cerullo

My favorite place in London, Ontario. The movie theaters are comfortable and clean, seats are reclinable in almost all rooms and movies are always up-to-date. Scene points are a plus. They are the reason why silvercity is my favorite place in London. Free really feels good. I love it.

Chad Crow

fun to be at the movies again. thank you

Sami Albayoumi

Terrible cast members. The cast threatened to call the cops on me for no reason. Harrased me Infront of a cast. Covid-19 QR was clear and my ticket was checked. Never expecting anything from this theater.

Kyle James (kylepianoman91)

Pros: The ability to earn and redeem Scene points is a major positive for SilverCity and other Cineplex theaters. This theater is also a convenient place because of being attached to Masonville mall, meaning there are food options and other things to do before/after the movie. Cons: Despite having added reclining seats, they still do not compare to those added at Landmark and Imagine cinemas, which feature larger and more comfortable seats that recline fully. Cineplex also has insanely expensive food costs for popcorn that truthfully isn't as good as it used to be.

Shawn Forbes

I took my nephew to see Toy Story 4 recently and loved the fact that there were reclining seats. I think it is a great way to spend the evening. I would enjoy it more often if it wasn't so expensive.

Sean Murphy (Scipio Africanus)

Watched Spiderman Far From Home tonight in IMAX..... The screen was ripped!!!! There is no way the management didn't notice this. Just bad oversight, that's all I need to say. I'm sure this review will not be read by the people who need to read it and so it goes!

Katie Caterpillar

Perhaps I am biased from having worked there for three years, but if you want a great theater experience, this is the place to go. The recent remodel gives it a much more mature feel, and the addition of an AVX theater and all-around reserved seating puts Silvercity up at the top of the roster. I have beef with some of the quality of the food, but all in all, this is a great place to spend an evening with the family!!

Mabsan Lemos Ferreira

Very good movie theaters complex!

Jyothi Victor

It was an awesome experience. The seats were so comfy... Pushback and all. Food available outside, limited and a tad bit expensive. The atmosphere inside was great.

Derek Butt

Tried out their newest box seats that vibrate and move with the film! Big recliners with more space and for Star Wars it was a blast!

Lorrie Ebel

In my recent visit to SilverCity London Ontario. When I went in to go sit down the place was a mess I was sticking to the floor there was popcorn on my seats I just felt like I was in a pigsty the movie was great but I did not like the cleanliness at all very bad should be ashamed of yourselves!

John Zanin

Great spot to see movies. Comfortable seats. Lots of food options. Licensed if you want to have a beer too. Tickets are expensive, but that's the way things are I guess.

Ryan Marttala

This theatre is good for a night out, but their wireless captioning units for the hearing-impaired (that fit in your seat's drink holder) are unreliable, consistently displaying only ~80% of the spoken dialogue. Placing two units side by side shows how they often miss different parts of the dialogue, and sitting in different areas of the theatre doesn't seem to help.

Jeff Green

Would have been better if my seat worked

Jaquar

This is a magnificent theater, filled with everything you need from popcorn, candy and food concessions to ice cream and a VIP theater and kids birthday party and event rooms. There's even an arcade with virtual games up front. Lots of parking, its attached to Masonville Mall so you can also do some shopping!

Ann Williams aka: Jammers4Jesus

Just finished watching a the movie at Silver City London and I was not at all impressed. The bathrooms were disgusting, there was popcorn squish on the floor all over the place, and there was a sticky mess where I was sitting sticking to the bottom of my shoes. I had to also swipe away left over popcorn which was on my seat and in my cup holder bwfore I could sit. I will not return to Silver City in London. I did however go to Cineplex Westmount last night and enjoyed it very much. It was very clean and comfortable. I will be returning there.

Adam Lumley

Meh. Sound system is good. Had to buy tickets at the concession stand since the self serve kiosk wouldn't take our coupon from the last time we went and the projector was down. Concession prices are outrageous. Seats barely recline. Our seats were already taken. Landmark, aside from the sound system, provides a far superior experience.

Chad Hayward

Very comfortable reclining seats with tons of room. I'm not a small man by any means 6ft 5in 300lbs & I had loads of space, stretch out on the lazy boy style chairs just like in your living room. Very clean, well laid out place & decent staff! But with such great comfort comes at a cost! Saturday afternoon matinee show with 1 large popcorn, medium fountain drink, small bag of skittles, 1 child & 1 adult ticket was $41.00 taxs included...Definitely not something that would break the bank, but reasonably priced for the city I guess. Will definitely be going back.

Terri-Anne Norwood-Shaw

This place used to be the best theatre in town. Everyone knew that. I had one helluva time trying to use their poorly designed website to book tickets. Then I arrive to a messy theatre with a broken door. After walking in I immediately notice there aren’t any people (NOT 1) working the ticket counter. They literally picked up the ticket machines and put them where the staff would stand. None of the machines were working properly and I could hear frustration from people using the machines around me. I was LATE for a movie I showed up EARLY for because it took such effort to print my tickets (I purchased ahead of time for the convenience). There was not one person there to assist should the machines fail - which all of them were! The place was a mess. It went from 100 to 0! When I mentioned it to the staff working the overpriced food stand she had an “oh well” attitude. How embarrassing for this company.

Cheryl bois

Nice and clean not too loud just right

Bailey Regier

As a resident of the country north of London, this theatre is my go-to and has been for my entire life. It has a huge amount of screens and always has everything showing that I want to see, usually with a variety of times to see it. I haven't been disappointed by this cinema in all the years that I've been coming here. It's big enough to have everything you want, without being overly large or glitzy. This theatre is always clean and well maintained. They recently updated the cinemas to have huge reclining seats - they’re actually the nicest I’ve ever seen at a Cineplex. My fiancée is from Brampton and was agape at how huge the seats were and how comfortable the seats were. There's also a couple of IMAX theatres, but I've never seen a film in them. No complaints at all - I’d be willing to put money on this being the best cineplex in Canada.

John Ianni

Great service from all the staff. A little disappointing that there are no longer box office attendants; only self service kiosks. I was able to buy my ticket at the consession stand, and it wasn't very busy, so there was very little wait. However, on busy days, I would have waited much longer.

Ron Roberts

Disappointed that their passport reader can’t read passports very well (seemed to be an old iPod Touch). Fiancés came up “not government issue” when it is, and it couldn’t even read mine. Thank goodness for the Cloud. But Ghostbusters was AWESOME!!

Marc Webb

Theater experience was fine but the bathrooms were truly lacking. One of the faucets didn't even work and all of the water was freezing cold. Not exactly the most sanitary thing to be washing with cold water after going to the bathroom. Floors were covered in water and mess in the bathroom as well

Brittany Bishop

Sadly I feel there could be more done to keep this little treasure going great in such a busy town. The bathrooms have been an on going issue so far and I have gone 3 different times. The last time I went with 2 children and the bathroom had no tissue or soap. This is amazing theater and has amazing seating I just wish they could keep up the bathrooms and general clean up of the whole area.

Nick Thibodeau

It's a nice theatre. It's too bad they nickel and dime you for everything. You used to get flavour packs for free and now they charge you. I wouldn't be surprised if they started to charge for small stuff like straws and napkins given how much they like to charge. It also sucks watching 30 mins of ads before every movie.

Zen CaptureAll

This movie theater is awesome. Nobody notices if you sneak in soda pop and chocolate bars in your pockets. ????They WIL notice the watermelon under your shirt though. And confiscate it. ???? It's a tough move to pull off. Maybe next time Silvercity... Maybe next time...

MacongaHarri

This is my favorite silvercity. The reclining chairs are very comfortable. And from what I can gather they have been installed in most or all the London silvercity theatres. Remember to book well in advance though, this theatre sells out almost every opening weekend show.

Scott J Goldstein

Concession staff are hit or miss so don’t be bashful - ask to top up the popcorn or drink if needed. Good theatre with comfortable seats. Very popular so purchase early.

Najia Shoukat

This is a really clean and nice facility. It was our first time there. It’s just to the side of Masonville Mall, sort of a part of it too. Clean washrooms, quick service, clean seats, our were reclining seats. The butter pop corns were tasty, worth that extra $1. They have a kids sized popcorn and drink combo too. Some Arcade rides in the front before you enter the screens. A lovely activity specially in winters to do with family.

Storm Bero

Was so nice to get back to the movies again. Great experience with their new protocol.

Sarah Zimmerman

I used to go here all the time because I work close and it was one of the best Theater in London. Now I will drive out of my way to Landmark where there are better seats, a smaller crowd, fresh popcorn (not pre bagged, sitting in a warmer popcorn) and better prices. Silvercity is too expensive and concession prices are insane! The only time I go to Cineplex anymore is when I get a giftcard.

maymuna nasir

I like the cinema, usually clean

Abe Miller

Love the reclining seats and the ability to book specific seats. Incredibly disappointed with price of concession for popcorn. Especially having to pay $1 more for butter on my popcorn. Butter apparently is not standard on popcorn. Popcorn... Butter... shame on you.

Tim Mertens

Good theater, lots of happy memories. The popcorn is tasty but it tends to leave me and certain friends of mine with upset stomachs. Don't go too heavy on the butter!! Also don't get the Nachos, my girlfriend just had some earlier tonight and she regrets all of it, bad bad nachos all around. But still good movie theater, plenty of viewing options (regular, 3D, IMAX, etc.) for most major movies. It's a bit expensive but everything is nowadays. This is probably my go-to movie theater, highly recommend.

Jenni Ferocious

Cool leather reclining chairs! Don't really need to say more then that. Oh, the only thing that would be good to change is that maybe the arm rest between chairs could go up...we were watching a horror and I couldn't snuggle up to the fiance close enough to save me lol

Gibin Joseph

Went to watch the bond movie yesterday in ultra avx. Giving 2 stars since they are cheap not to turn on speakers. Sounded like speakers were normal tv speakers. No woofers, sorround sound. Should have watched from home. Soundbars have better sound quality. Not giving one star as seats were reclining.

Chris Debenham

Best theatre in the area! About 15 minutes of previews before each show (actual movie starts 15 minutes after scheduled showtime). Concessions are pretty good as well (Cineplex popcorn butter is the best!). Power recline seats but not heated like some newer theaters.

LYNX LYNX

Classic favourite theatre. I came here very frequently pre-pandemic and I am a huge scene point collector too. They have the best poutine and buttered popcorn in Ontario IMO. No one else even comes close! That’s not to mention their beautiful arcade area when you’re about to walk into the ticket stand. I love this theatre and have some of the best memories of my life here! Can’t wait to see you again...

Jan Österlund

SilverCity London and Cineplex are dying a slow and agonizing death and the movie going experience is pretty much doomed. Not only do the pandemic caused safety measures make things worse but you can obviously see the extent of Cineplexes desperation. How loud can they turn the speakers!? I noticed this actually first time couple of years ago as Ultra AVX was first introduced that the sound levels were noticeably higher than before. But it has gradually just got worse. Today we went to see Tenet and the volume was just cranked up so loud that it was pounding just exerbating the movies also otherwise all over the place story. It made the experience nightmarish and I almost feel for the first time that I won't return to the movie theaters, just watch movies at home when they come out on Netflix or iTunes. I recommend this also to everyone else. Is Cineplexes strategy to screw up the volume this loud because people can't do it at home in fear of their neighbors, and they are expecting people to go to the movies to see the movie with FULL loud audio?! If this is the strategy Cineplex has shot themselves in the foot because no way it is good for you to listen to audio this loud. Besides when there was no audio or silence in the movie you could hear a electric buzz from some speaker. This does not give Cineplex a professional look at all ... audio amatures! Don't go, stay home and rent a movie instead! I am so sad this seems like the end of the movie going tradition!

Derek Carroll

Some of the theaters feel neglected. The bathrooms have been atrocious as of late. It's usually really hot in the theatres in the dead of summer and it would be appreciated if the AC was turned on. Hit or miss on when you can enter the theaters. I get a kick out of it, when the pre show tells you to come early, but you haven't been allowed in to the theatre cause they're still cleaning it and time play has already been up twice.

Trevor Cuming

Great place to watch movies, they renovated the seating so you have your own personal loungers with a ton of space. Can be a little too comfortable, almost fell asleep a few times. Also attached to the mall so can hit the stores after/ beforehand.

Brian Murphy

Very busy theatre needs some work. Reorient the circular service counter to provide more service and reduce line ups. No napkins or straws at side counter and popcorn all over the place.

Elvira French

Easy to buy tickets on line.no lines, must be a covid thing. Was able to buy food at the concession. Thankful i had money on my card cause i was unaware they were not taking cash.

Shaaliyah Ali

Watched Spider-Man NWH at this location, clean cinema and wasn't very packed which is great amidst this pandemic.

Danielle Walker

The reclining seats are fantastic, all the theatres have them now. Always packed, prices have sky rocketed, and no matter what, every movie I see, the floor is always sticky!

Phillip Bregman

No concessions, no food or drink offered, or even allowed in, will not be visiting again till they think smarter (bleeding money)

Stop Bugginme

This is a very nice theatre. The staff was very courteous and polite. It is a huge building with over 10 theatres. The chairs tilt back and are very comfortable. Though i found that the concession prices are very high.

Dave Schram

This theatre is unreal and really makes going out to a movie a special event. All of their theatres are now leather recliners I believe and can choose your seat online - which is the best feature ever. Opened again during Covid... they limited the seats so two seats in between and then offset so no one behind or in front of you. Get out and see a show... or there won't be theatres in the future.

Georgina Annand

Went to go see a Movie but had no seat left. Went to have something to eat and walked around. To find out that theytoo has all there Christmas stuff up! ???? like every other place they could not wait til after Rememberance Day. Disappointing!! Other then that l do like massionville

Steve Paduch

Finally... Go out and enjoy! Bond film is phenomenal!!!

Shauna Patkus

Really nice place but horrible experience. Paid for three seats to see "The Lion King" but because they're "assigned" we only used one seat because I couldn't justify leaving my two very young children half way across the theater in different sections (one alone in row D, the other alone in row F while I was supposedly to sit elsewhere aswell). Teens beside me on their phones constantly throughout the movie... Terrible experience. Don't think I'll be back. Aside for that, comfortable seats that recline and clean.

Andrew Hogg

It's safe to come back!

James Reid

I saw Black Panther with a friend, the chairs were comfortable and the movie was great. The mobile ticket pickup was out of paper, but I went to the front and they got me my tickets right away!

Ravinder Kandola

Love the reclining seats, reserved seating, and the ample leg room, so punk can kick back of your seat throughout the movie.

Derek Forrest

Guest experience was amazing! I had to buy the only 2 seats together (which my wife and I weren't thrilled about) but the young lady who sold the tickets had advised me if the seats arnt what we wanted she will happily refund us. So we get to our seats and they wouldn't recline at all so it was uncomfortable for us to watch the movie so I went to ask the lady who sold us the ticket and she was more then willing to help fix our chairs without me even asking her to. I will gladly come back because they did more then expected to make my night perfect

Kemetic Ka

My first time in london, ive never been to a movie theater like this one . Lots of space between the rows. All the seats have foot rest and are comfy .

kwangsei kim

They blind by money. They sell 2 medium popcorn & pops $40, and they sell seats on which anybody can't watch movies because it is too close to see a screen.

Brittni Fournier

Love this place so much more now that they have family movie Saturdays with 2.99 movies for the fam!!!! Seen space jam in the theator last weekend.

arun krishnan

Their 'no food allowed' policy combined with them not selling anything was the only disappointment I had when I tried the place. Movies without popcorn is a big no-no.

G Cursed

The seating is fantastic. Sound system is amazing. Screen size is great. Snacks are great. The hotdog sales guy doesn't have a girlfriend. I highly recommend watching movies at this theatre. They even sell beer here, which seems weird to me but if you aren't driving after your movie, why not have a drink? I should get someone to be a DD for me so that I can get drunk and watch a movie, maybe I will even start a fight? I bet hotdog guy will have my back.

Weird Ally

Overpriced compared to Imagine and the seats SUCK! Especially the ones where you have to constantly PUSH to recline. So uncomfortable! Some of the "recliner" seats are OK, but no comparison at all to imagine cinemas or a real recliner. Bathrooms always smell like pee, are messy, and running out of toilet paper. To top it off, this theatre is one of the few who decided it would be appropriate to play an anti-choice, anti-abortion, propaganda flick. Give your head a shake, Slivercity. We won't EVER be back! It's too bad for Slivercity, because my husband is a support worker and brings clients in multiple times a week! Imagine cinemas is way better, the seats are so comfy! Plus, you don't have to support anti-female propaganda! Don't waste your money or time on this TRASH CAN!

Kevin Haratian

We were here recently for the movie Sing 2. Almost every measures for Covid ti.e has been considered. No food or beverages.

Tish

Overpriced as usual but relatively enjoyable nevertheless. It is what it is. Just your typical movie theater. Would be more enjoyable if the food and drinks didn't cost so much but that's not that big of an issue. Would recommend the upgraded seats that recline.

Karinna De Jong

Super friendly staff and very easy to get into ????

chris swain

I'm still not ready to expose myself to the unknown safetyness of such a closed in environment with unknown strangers who may or may not abide by the rules in place. I will say though as I inquired about the new Spiderman movie I could see they had full social distancing guidelines and masking in place. At the time it was allowed full capacity and I wasn't as I said above , ready for that. In the past as my Father and I came here roughly 42 Tuesdays out of a possible 52 and we always found these cinemas awesome and run very well with smart polite staff. Can't wait for all THIS to be over to re-attend !!!

Peter Matt Rempel

Silver City London Cinemas at Richmond street was decent. The staff were friendly and there were no issues with my online ticket, ordering snacks, or with the movie and projector. The one thing I would say was that, as all movie theatres, the prices for popcorn were outrageous.

Linda van der Worp

Fabulous theater. Great comfy seats, like laying on the couch at home if you so choose to. They have fabulous movies and fun treats to be had. YUM!!! This is a great nite out folks. Quit smoking and use the money to get out and have an adventure on the weekend!! "YOU DESERVE FUN" don't ya!! ????????????????????????

Bidgiebear

Great staff, good movies. The prices for food and drink are a bit much but that's the symptom of all modern theater going. The fact that the theaters are all on one side, divided by a hallway, also makes it less frustrating to get to your movie compared to other locations where the theaters are on opposite sides of the lobby area.

Dave Comfort

I just watched Dune, while the movie is fantastic the volume level was overwhelmingly painful for many parts. There were times when dialogue couldn't be understood because it was too extreme. By the time the movie ended I wound up with a fairly bad headache. I don't know if someone that works there sits in to test sound levels when a movie comes out but maybe someone should.

Nicole Brown

This was my first time at this cinema and it was great! I REALLY enjoyed the recliner seats and being able to pick where you’re going to sit ahead of time so that it eliminates the guess work of finding out where to sit when you get in to the theatre

Velsina Productions

Amazing service at the conssession, the theaters are always clean and the chairs are the most comfortable I've used. I have stopped going to the movies in the past years due to the cost and usually not having the best experience. That was until I decided to go and see The Last Jedi at this location. I had such a great experience there that I've gone back atlest once a month to see new films and will continue to to keep coming back.

Geetansh Gandhi

Amazing movie experience every time i've been there. All of staff is really supporting

C Bautista

My boyfriend and I went to see The James Bond movie it was great experience to be around with people again. Facilities were great except it wasn’t too cool inside. It was a 3hour film and we were sweating so much. Hopefully SilverCity will reconsider to full on their AC

Rebel Mazda

Theatre was clean, spacious & it was Free Popcorn day! We were in the AVX and the recliners were nice. They don't go all the way back and there is a bar that prevents patrons from falling over but it also blocks the view of the screen.

S E

This is a nice theatre. It has reclining seats, good popcorn, clean theatres, and friendly staff. There are plenty of options for buying tickets and lots of kiosks to grab food. The tickets and concessions can be a bit pricy, but it's still a nice night out. There are also lots of places to eat or shop nearby

Spencer Macdonald

over all not pleased with my time at this theater and I would not recommend it. If you want to see a movie I would recommenced going to the Odeon or rainbow cinemas (explained below) I've given this theater multiple chances but each time it has disappointed me. First of all I want to say that EVERY time I've been to this theater it has been dirty and un-cleaned, If you go you can expect to be stepping on spilled pop and having to clean garbage out from around your seat. the bathrooms are some of the worst I've seen in a long time, terrible in almost every way possible. small, poorly laid out and disgustingly dirty. Nearly everything they sell is overpriced, the tickets are generally more expensive than my usual theater. the popcorn, drinks, and other snacks are expensive and you still get less. feels like a big scam and is not satisfactory at all. The only redeeming factor of this theater is the Picture/audio. but because you can get the same experience at the Odeon I'd recommend going there instead. I would also recommend rainbow cinemas, it may not have the best picture/audio but its more than adequate and cost's much less.

P H I L I P

The layout of the theaters is functional and the recliner seats are super comfortable, with enough room to walk to and from your seat without disturbing those in your row.

mary

I've been here a lot recently, and it is pretty clean, and welcoming. Tickets are usually cheap, but the concessions are pretty pricey! Overall a very fun place!

Stephanie B

Concession staff is pleasant and it's great to be back at the movies

Saimah S

Sad they are closed. They did so well with keeping ppl at a distance and safe. hopefully they are allowed to reopen soon.

Deckard Cain

I've been to this theater many times, and would have to say that it's probably my favorite. As theaters go, I'm used to a really poorly lit area with a popcorn covered floor and people wandering, yelling and being disruptive. Not at this location. It's clean, clearly lit and the staff is quite nice. Most importantly, over the few times that I've been here I've never had a bad experience because of another guest of an inconsiderate employee.

Emma Catherine

The last two times ive gone (twice in a span of a month and a half) there has been technical issues. First movie, about 20 mins into the movie, apparently the stair lights broke and it was a hazard so the theatre lights were on for the entire movie... (we went to manager and she told us why they were on, no one in the theatre was just out right told even the everyone was visibly displeased.) The second movie and most recent one, up until like the last preview there was no sound... and I don't know about you but I like watching the previews).

alliyah yumnu

love the decor and staff is almost always great the only thing (similar to most theaters) is the concession stands prices are SKY ROCKET! i hardly ever purchase snacks and just eat before the prices are 100% inappropriate other than that things run great.

Kayleigh Lavender

I love that all the seats are recliners now and it’s easier to book and pick a seat than the first come, first serve that it used to be. The only issue I have now is the lack of illumination when the lights go down. Many times I’ve had to leave my seat to take my child to the washroom and the stairs are no longer lit up on the edges and the rows are not easily identifiable in the dark. It’s very difficult to see when you’re coming in from the bright hallway into a darkened theatre. People start using the flashlight on their phone, which also distracts those watching the movie.

Brian MacAskill

Handling pandemic well -- very safe experience.

Julia Haneca

Attention to detail has really declined. Dirty for being a large theatre. The bathrooms are usually nasty as well and often out of toilet paper.

Ben Durham

Great seats. Great screens. Always clean. Seems well managed as I've never had any problems at all while here. The washrooms are generally well taken care of as well which is nice to see! I say because generally right after movies the, the garbage can begin to overflow but soon after they're cleaned up (as soon as employees are given the chance to).

Josh Hunter

Overall the atmosphere is nice here with many options to take into the theater for snacks, the before movie games are nice for smart phone users and the recliner theater is a great experience. The only 3 things that don't make this 5 stars for me is 1. The price of movie snacks just for me it came to 22 bucks ( lrg popcorn, med drink, and snack) 2. The projector lense at times during the movie could be seen on the screen (sitting in the back row). 3. During the movie at time you could hear the radio conversation of the person running the projector (again sitting in the back row). Overall though still a great place to watch a movie before or after shopping.

Alaura

One of the popular movie theatres in London, SilverCity has a lot of show before the show in the sense that it's an elaborate entrance. It offers games (tokens) while kids wait and a couple of good options as well. Recommend

Jordan Phillips

Great atmosphere, quick service especially if you buy online. The seating is fantastic as well, recliners are the best way to watch movies honestly.

Braeden fraser

Good movies playing now. Usually decent seating. In one of the theatre rooms there were railings that obscured your vision if you reclined your seat.

Jim Johnston

Saw addams family 2, not bad. Theater chair was comfy, lots of leg room. Great sound.

Anees Ahmad

Bad.very bad experience.zero star.very bad customer service.i booked tickets they give my seats to another's with out inform me.it so awful....

Tay Mary

Recliners are some how oddly uncomfortable. I've had some fairly crappy experiences in your theatre over the past few months. I understand this isn't the theatres issue.. but every single time, without fail there is people who do not put their phones away.. and they do not stop talking during the movie. Super frustrating.

Michael Lee

Generally a well-regarded movie theater. The front entrance is massive, and once you go in, everything is just so available to you whether you need tickets, concessions, or even some quick food to go. Sometimes, the floors can get messy, but understandable considering the influx of people that comes in-and-out every day. The staff are alright to deal with. There're few arcade machine available for your pleasure if you prefer to play around with them. Movie theater itself is large, it's got good pre-show videos, and got good seating arrangements. Sound is submerges your into the movie so well, and the temperature inside the theaters are well-regulated. Price can get super expensive, so I recommend either bringing your own popcorn & drinks, or going somewhere else such as Rainbow (not as good), or Landmark (very nice viewing experience).

Jonathan Kim

Had a great experience here, very good following of covid protocol

Braedan Lee

After purchasing tickets a month in advanced to get good seats near the top of the theatre, the manager came in and told us we had to switch theatres because the projector was broken. We walked to the new theatre and there wasn't enough seats for everyone. The only option he gave us was the very front row which is not where we had purchased our original seats. We ended us leaving extremely angry before the movie started. Waste of time and money.

Alex's MaliBlue Road Tripping Adventures

Another comfortable evening at the theater. Never thought I'd say this however popcorn is no longer an affordable part of the movie going experience, that'll be the last of it for me. $9.25 for a medium "with butter" :o the seating is great for the movie experience however ,eat before you go

Jay Brodie

I like what they have done with the place. The larger lounge chairs are a certain upgrade for sure. Move prices are somewhat nor.mal but it is hard to get past $35 for popcorn and drink for 2 adults and a child.

Jon Newman

There is a parking lot out front of the theatre that is always jam packed with cars so it can take a bit of luck or a lot of patience to get a spot close so be prepared to walk. The theatre opened up so time ago and it is starting to show. The interior design is terrible the colours are fading and the carpets are from the 90's. The seats in the theatre do not recline, are too close together, squeak when you move them, offer hardly any leg room, and wont stay in one position. You are either all the way back or sitting straight up. The theatre doesn't remind people to turn off their phones at any point, which they should be doing, as I heard someone yell at someone else inbthe theatre to put their phone away. This theatre needs an overhaul of just about everything to keep up with the standards of other theatres in the city. Will not be going here again if I can avoid it.

Michael Hale

Decent theatre. Nice seats. Movie is movie. Fun 90% of time.

Kyle Broderick

Popcorn is what Cineplex is known for but the popcorn was prebaged which it didn't taste fresh. Other then that I enjoyed my movie going experience!

Iftekhar Aurin

Best place to watch movies in London Ontario. 3D and ultra AVX have recliner seats, very comfy.but regular 2D has non recliner regular seats and are congested.wont recommend. food and drink price is sky high! my 2 cents would be bring your own food or go to cinmeas with full belly. u will find most of the newly released movies, so its a good choice.

milomaz1

Chairs are comfortable and staff is nice, but being as all movie theaters are expensive it doesn't feel like you actually get the quality of an experience that you pay for. It is intended one of the better movie theaters but they're all rip offs.

globalimportune1

Most of the time they have pretty good movies. I am there 2 or three times a month.

Randy Thomas

Nice environment. Good sound, picture could be a bit better(probably screen or projector lenses). Lines can get long for concessions if they don't open extra registers. Seats are comfortable, recline electrically and don't feel overly massive like some places.

Jessica Parent

Clean theatre, friendly staff, decent variety of showtimes. They are now licensed to sell alcohol, but be prepared to pay an arm and a leg.

Michelle Lynn

The prices for popcorn is so expensive and its always jam packed. The seats are comfortable but the bathrooms were not clean . for the amount of people in an out of there in would expect the washrooms to be up kept to a higher standard.I do like that the have little food places so you can eat before the movies if you want.

Sharjeel Mirza

Awesome! Staff is professional and place itself is always clean and spotless.

Jordan Smith

Whole the screen is a great size and the sound was enjoyable, the seating is abysmal. They still have old stadium seating, that is uncomfortable and probably understuffed. If I am paying 7$ more for an Imax experience, I would expect I should be comfortable to sit through the film, not have to readjust my position every 15 minutes. Staff were wonderful on entering and when ordering food, though I would appreciate if every request for butter used the "better method" they advertise before the movie.

Robert Hughes

The same as Cineplex here concession stand gouging 2 large Coke's and 2 small popcorn= $36.34. where is the gouging laws here?

Marcin Tandecki

It's been around for a long time and it's still decent. Granted, going to the movies isn't what it used to be, but this place is still good if you want to go see a movie.

DeShawn.

Nice experience!!!!..... staff is pretty good nice & polite!!!. Bathroom's are surprisingly clean. That's always nice especially during this covid pandemic... over all nice experience I'd recommend for anyone wanting a night out.

Sarah Rosen

Got a chance to visit this theatre while in the area and watch a movie in complete "lazy-boy" comfort with the wide, fully reclining leather seats. Felt like watching a movie in the comfort of your living room, but on the big screen!

Mahmoud K

The theatre is large, clean, and usually staffed accordingly. Going away from ticket counters is a natural progression. The machines near the remaining ticket booth are very poorly placed. I had to excuse myself in front of people in line for the ticket booth to get to a machine. Seems crowded and unless I missed something, literally else would have been a better choice. Prices are ridiculous and it's an insult you can't refill your $15 dollar tub of popcorn. It's easily $60 for two people to go to the movies with snacks. I do however like the family favorites and gives me an opportunity to watch movies I may have missed with my kids. I would like them available more often.

Ajeet Singh Dhariwal

Perfect place no hassle quick entry… amazing seats. Picture quality and sound system is next level… though they give no interval I think for Indian movies or for all.. overall nice experience….

Alex Maxwell

Great customer service. I went to go see a movie with a friend. He lost his ticket. And when we went to go buy a new one, we only slightly mentioned we lost one and wasn't expecting anything and the cashier lady said that she could actually help with that and she called her manager and he gave us a new ticket for free.

Victoria Potter

Had such fun going to the movies again! Ciniplex is doing a wonderful job to make the movie experience the same while maintaining Covid-19 protocols. Something to note, if you are sitting at the very top back row. There are bars that go across and cut the bottom of the screen off. Which depending on the movie can infringe on the viewing experience.

Julie Leeds

Love being ae to snuggle while enjoying a movie.

Miranda Si

The Dolby experience is worth the couple extra bucks for true movie lovers! Fresh concessions and friendly staff! Free parking! And the restaurants nearby makes it easy to make an evening of your outing.

Clint C

First time back in 18 months. Nice that they segregate the seating. Felt very comfortable and well socially distanced from others.

Movies, Rides, and More

One of the best movie theaters in London, Ontario. Very clean hallways and auditoriums. Very clear screens and projectors. Friendly staff and they treat customers with respect. Well done, Cineplex.

Rebecca Foster Dowswell

They never have any good movies playing on a Saturday. Its always dumb music options. They are losing so much business.

Pranav Sreekanth

Great seats, even for the normal seats there is a recliner. Sounds is good. Ample parking space. Friendly staff. Requires proof of vaccination just like all the other theaters.

Gerb Ding

Saw detective pikachu here and honestly he told me to give the theatre an extra star so I did. I respect him a lot and he taught me about family and also being a rat. Its a relatively small cineplex and it doesn’t have the greatest sound system

Samantha Victoria

Always super chill, easy to get in and out, comfortable, friendly :)

Matt Smith

This is not a reflection on the movie, the move was great, the theatre is barely a polished turd. Spent 2.5 hours in an Imax 3D showing crammed into a seat smaller than a London Transit bus seat with the ergonomics of busted rocking chair. Reclining seats are great if you can recline them to a static position , and Im sure the people behind me loved my head in their snacks. But that's ok i spent the movie with my knees cranked at akward angles due to a lack of leg room, heaven forbid someone need to leave a row during a screening, its like a sardine trying to slide out of a tin can. The concession stands were a mess and what you pass off as a nacho is something I could probably find under my kids bed. No doubt theatres are failing, I'd rather experience my basement than this facility again, at least I can eat a palatable snack down there.

Al Hammoud

Good atmosphere. One time theatre #1 failed to play a movie on time and I reported it to the manager. They did not play the movie because it would have run too late so instead everyone inside got a free movie voucher.

Cauta Pacea (Caută Pacea)

I would say this facility is just ok. The staff are polite and welcoming, but some of the upholstery is looking dingy and dated. I have no doubt that the cinema is clean, that isn't the issue, its just that Cineplex needs to spend a bit of money refurbishing their investment. Otherwise, the complaints are fairly typical, they sometimes turn up the volume too much during the movies, you need a lift truck to get your small pop back to your seat, etc. The washrooms are kept clean, and the movies are kept up to date.

Akash B Narayan

Nice screens and easily accessible location. Good seating as well as more options to view. But the popcorns are too expensive ;) Best place to hangout and for films.

Austin Livison

Everything is good except the seats in the first row. You could break your neck????

Jared F

What once was the top end state of the art has started to slide back a bit it feels. The seating is kind of odd now and reclines right into people's feet especially in the IMAX. The seats seem so low to the ground now and just not comfortable as they maybe once seemed. It just doesn't feel as spacious as some newer seating I've enjoyed. Service and movie quality was still top notch, it can be pricy but the Scene card programs balance that for me.

Ann McInnis - Tonge

Parking lot was clean and there was room to park. It is a busy mall, so that is sometimes a problem. The entrance is amazing. We were running late for the show we wanted to see, and we were surprised to find the ticket sales were all automated. (It has been quite awhile since we were at this theatre) We did see a sign for the conceirge to help us acquire the tickets we needed and we were off to find the theater. I asked the ticket taker where the theatre was, and was ignored. We set off to find it on our own. The chairs were amazing, so comfy and they reclined! Since we were running late we did not have time to try the snacks.

Othman Mhd

We can say is nice

Jen Carr

Very comfy and good service. Had a great time!

George Harris

I bought tickets on line so the entering of the theatre was quick and easy. The seats were very nice and comfortable and had a very big screen, almost too big for the size of the room. Overall the experience was very good.

Borb Borb

Overpriced as usual but relatively enjoyable nevertheless. It is what it is. Just your typical movie theater. Would be more enjoyable if the food and drinks didn't cost so much but that's not that big of an issue. Would recommend the upgraded seats that recline.

Kyle Mckay

Always a great selection of movies. Awesome soft leather seats that recline. Tons of staff. Great places to eat nearby.

Mike duDomaine (Mdweldor)

We went to Halloween kills, theater was clean, covid protocol in place.Movie not to bad, audio seems improved and comfortable seating. All in all a good night out

Maybe this will help 8 Ozwell St Ozwald 8

Love this place but the renovations to the parking lot have really really dropped the ball on wheelchair accessibilty from really good to really really really bad. In this case the improvments prolly lost them business and cost a fortune !!!! Inside is still awesome tho. I will still probably find a different theater its that dangerous for wheelchairs

Tracie P

My husband and I came here to see Glass, figured we would try here since we hadn’t been to Silver City in a while: Things I liked: •being able to book online and save a seat •friendly staff Things I don’t like: •Bathrooms need a massive upgrade (always messy, taps not working, toilet paper holder busted, no paper towel) •The bar over the screen when you recline your seat (can’t fully recline cause of that issue) •The price of the popcorn (and I get no refills on a large drink and popcorn? — first I’ve heard of that) •Although great to buy tickets online, navigation of the website is horrible. •Have to worry about stairs if needed to leave during movie for bathroom or consession (I can see this being a major issue for elderly people or ones with kids). All things considered, I won’t be back anytime soon — I much prefer Landmark Cinemas. Better concession prices (and can get refills on larges), better seats, better navigation of website to book, no bar in my way when fully reclined, no stairs to worry about, and the staff is just as nice. If these issues were to be addressed I’d have no problem on going back to Silver City (it is closer than Landmark from where I live). Right now though it’s worth the extra time and travel to go to Landmark for me because of the several issues I have.

Madalena

Little disappointed with Cineplex. Our movie start time was 9:30 and the movie didn't start playing till 9:55. There were WAY to many ad's before the movie. They showed some twice which was not needed. ALSO: I had some sitting right next to me in the theater and that was their correct seat. Not sure this is okay with COVID. I have to stay 6 feet away from them while walking down the hallway and in the bathroom. But to sit for a 2 hour movie it's okay right next to someone. There should be at least one seat in-between. There were kids sitting at the front of the theater texting and taking snapchat with flash throughout the whole movie. LASTLY, the reclines are a nice option but if you recline all the way back the safety bar in front of the sear covers the bottom of the screen. So you have to choose do I want to recline or do I want to see the screen. Overall first experience back since COVID and I'm not impressed. Other than that the Ghostbusters movie was great

tony monti

Werid not having popcorn at the movie.

Peter

Love going to this theatre. Staff are helpful and always friendly when I’m ordering food or buying tickets for a movie. I love that they added the recliner chairs to most of the theatres! Really changes the experience for watching movies. Wish they had some more of the international movies/anime movies that other Cineplex have though. Anyways, always a good time coming here!

Liam Wilson

The building in general is great, and in my experience the staff are pretty good. The snacks are highly priced, which is to be expected though. The theatre can get really busy and you might struggle to get seats for certain movies if you don't buy them online in advance.

T-Shine Product Reviews

Comfy seats, food is pricey, service is good, lobby could use an update, it's been the same since I can remember.

Will T

Movie was good, but the chairs feel small. Landmark has a better movie going experience in my opinion.

Arul Pillai

Pretty good facility it is. 1. Proper food services 2. Hygienic seating arrangement 3. Pretty decent rates 4. Games for kids Should try this one tho

Jannette Binder

Comfy reclining seats. Even the absolute front row seating wasn't bad, though I prefer sitting a few rows back. Volume in commercials too loud at times but great level for the movie.

adrian maden

Top notch. Well worth the cost of admission. Staff were professional and courteous. The place was clean and spotless. The only glitch was the show was running a bit late and they asked if we wanted to watch the trailers or go right to the movie. We vociferously said we want the movie! Avengers: INFINITY Wars was great! Seats were comfortable. Highly recommended.

S Shah

Okay place, staff doesn't seem interested in their work.

Taylor

Nice movie theater. Reserved seating and comfortable recliner seating is very nice. I would recommend arriving rather early for your show if you want snacks, as everytime I've gone it's been a very long wait in line for snacks. Other than that it's a very nice theater. It's always clean and the staff is always very friendly.

Bob Privett

This place was awesome. The seats all reclined and there was still room for people to walk by my seat in the fully reclined position to get to their seats. Popcorn and drinks were hugely expensive.

Sam

Some guy took our seats but we just found other seats so I guess there wasn't even a problem.

Aidan Peters

This is a great theatre. The reclining seats are very comfortable. The screens are large and the audio system is superb. The staff is very friendly and professional. They are always willing to go the extra mile and give a movie recommendation or have a small chat about the movie you're seeing. The bathrooms and whole theatre are generally very well maintained. It does get quite busy especially on the discount Tuesdays and Friday or Saturday nights. Overall a great place to go with the friends, family, or date.

Josh Goudy

Those d box seats are worth it especially if you are going to see black panther. If you get motion sickness and take a long time to drink a carbonated drink then don't get d box seats because they shake a lot and flaten your drink the snacks are so expensive there so mabye try to bring your own, ssssshhhhh

Hovsep Tavitian

Staff are amazing, feels safe all protocols being followed. Great place to be in.

Brian Lobaskie

Great experience. Easy entrance, even with passports. Staff friendly. Protocols followed. Felt safe. Clean environment. Nice to be back at a movie.

Danny Apacik

Rude staff, overpriced everything, people in our assigned seats, dirty washrooms. I normally go to image theater but me and my partner decided to try London's "high end" theater. Definitely never going back.

Sonya Richmond

Clean location, great cozy chairs, and awesome sound in the theatres. Only catch is that if you have a problem getting your ticket there is literally no one at the cashier desk and the other staff just tell you to talk to the cashier - who is not there - but if you get tickets off the machine ok then it is all good.

Deon Patel

To whom this may concern: We had a very bad experience at the London SilverCity Cineplex. This happened at the 10:15pm show for the movie 'Yesterday' on 30 of June 2019. It all started when we entered the theater and found out that our seats were already claimed by someone else. Upon approach the woman in our seat was rude and claimed that we were in the wrong. So to avoid further confrontation and since my friend’s leg was hurt we decided to sit somewhere else. We were then asked to move yet again because the seats weren’t ours which was understandable. I then approached the woman who was still sitting in our seat and she seemed to be very rude and abusive again. We then went to the management staff so that they could move her from our seats but as soon as the associate approached she was abusive to him too. Due to that he left. she then started calling me names, calling me dumb and swearing and then finally threw popcorn on my face. Post that she started being very abusive and finally headed out of the theater to complain about the situation. Me and my friend watched the entire movie in the wrong seats but to add to the misery the movie was then paused right in the middle and the lights were switched on . the manager announced loudly there was a seating issue . all the people in the rows around us started looking at us which made us feel really embarrassed. the whole movie ran threw and nothing was done to compensate us in any form. Once the movie was done we left the theater and we were just given free tickets as compensation. I do feel that much more could have been done and that this situation could have been handled better. We were not in the wrong and did not deserve to be spoken to in that manner. We didn’t receive an apology from the lady that was in the wrong from the very beginning. Once again I would just like to end by saying this would be one of the worst experience I've had in a movie theater. looking foward i would personally never return and would not recommend this london silver city Cineplex ever again

Barbara Bage

We were early, so no line-ups. The recliners are very comfy!

Patti Allan

Terrible evening at Silver City. It's always been good in the past. Debit machines were down so had to use their ATM and got charged for that, the theater was dirty and the women's washroom was very dirty as well. No toilet paper in the washroom... My son's Nachos were stale too. Something is very wrong there.

Allan Gibbons

Finally updated all their seats. Pricing for movies isnt unreasonable, but food is rediculous. For most people wages are around 14 or so an hour. One large popcorn, one large drink. And a 50gram candy is $23. Thats nearly two hours of work for .. mediorce popcorn. Which costs $1 for butter. Rainbow and others aren't that expensive and have free butter. Silver city should really work to compete with other theatres. Especially since cutting all the wages of ticket staff (everything is now automated).

Took the kids to watch Dora for the 8PM.. arrived early for the TimePlay which is not happening.. for some reason did not start movie till 8:05 with commercials.. beginning of the movie noticed the curtain is covering the screen.. mention it to the manager.. what did he said?” Don’t worry bout it’ll automatically goes up when the movie start” yeah right.. got stuck watching it with curtain covering the screen for the whole movie.. worst experience ever.. other than that.. the movie is funny..

Nicky B

I found it smelly and when we went many of the seats don’t work - they either don’t recline at all or only partly - movies are played to loud - almost ear piercing (same as when I went 5 years ago) If I can avoid going to this theatre in the future I will

Sierra Crosby

They upgraded some of their seats and while they are more comfortable they are no where near the comfort and quality of the other theatres in the city. Pricey, long lines but convenient that it’s attached to the mall.

Victor B

Great theatre, only thing that would make it 5 star would be if you could buy mini M&M's outside of a kids combo. (psst. Theatre running people, adults like them too--this is a secret... But they're the BEST M&M's! Shh. Don't let anyone know...)

Nathanael Winker

Great theater! Didn't like the movie we picked but loved the experience!

Melissa McFalls

Went to see the pre screening of A Star is Born tonight at 7pm in the AVX theatre, and the fact that Cineplex would actually allow tickets to be sold for the very front row (AA) is appalling. There’s no way to actually watch the movie, you are staring at the ceiling rolling your eyes back to see the screen. We did get refunded no problem, but to sell those as tickets is not right.

Travis South

Friendly staff, good service. Went to watch the new Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City and had a fantastic time

Miss Babycakes

My son and I go to the movies once a month, the staff here are ALWAYS so RUDE. They look like they’re absolutely miserable and have zero customer service skills. Not a single smile, no “hi how are you today”... as soon as you approach or even walk near the food counter they’re glaring you down waiting for you to make your order and are almost annoyed when you take a couple minutes to figure it out before even going up to the counter!!! There are many people who want jobs , please hire the ones willing to leave a good impression on your customers PLEASE! So tired of being annoyed every time I go there.

Devon VMB

I went to this cinema for the first time last night with my partner... We both agree that we will never be returning. Starting with the snacks... popcorn was stale and chewy almost as if it was from the previous day... the candy was under stocked so if you wanted anything other then twizzlers you were out of luck as that's all they could sell.. snack prices cost more then landmark and there is less selection and smaller portions... then we proceed into the theater where I figured we would have comfy seats but we both have sore backs by the time we leave. I dont n ow if the seats are just worn out or poor quality but they were not comfy one bit let alone the railing in front of us block the bottom of the screen unless we sat straight up. We only went to this theater as they were stil playing fast 9 and I'm glad I got to see the movie but we will no longer be seen in this movie theater I will continue to go to landmark where it is much better food and seating

L Osborne

Could we get a sign at the exit/entrance on the wall next to the seats, to check your seat for your belongings before you leave. Otherwise, great seats.

Dawn Palmby

The screen is great the chairs not so much... I have chronic pain issues and had a hell of a time sitting through 3 hours of Avengers: End Game.

Rita Quinlan

Staff friendly and courteous. The theatre was crammed, had to sit at front, turned out to be a not bad spot. 1Popcorn and 1 soft drink cost $15.75. Ridiculous.

Cindy Gregory

Nice big theater, seats are comfy, audio can be a little loud for my liking. Wish prices for munchies were a bit cheaper but I recommend this theater. Lots of choices for movies to pick from.

Matthew Murray

They are trying real hard, but they are making cutbacks on staff, air conditioning, and oh yeah, no refills on large fountain soda. It's not the cheapest thing in the world, but if your gonna cut back the air conditioning at least leave the cool refreshments coming non-stop. Or vice versa make it too cold to leave the cozy warm recliner to get the soda... By the way, I'm sure the staff likes big screen entertainment as well.. get some more people! Word of mouth advertising is not a dead art form. One of two real people engaged be in conversion about my chosen flick. I wish I had his name... I would recommend him for a raise in pay And a promotion...

Hailey Giles

I am not one to complain easily, this is the first time I've ever written a google review but I am compelled to because of how infuriated I am at the experience I had at this theatre. I went to see Tenet this evening with my partner. The movie opens with a very action-packed scene it was WAY too loud. My partner went out after a few minutes of me holding my ears to tell an employee who then walked into the theatre with him and said "WOW, you're right, that is loud. I'll tell my manager." The rest of the movie was excruciating. Any scenes with gun shots or explosions I spent covering my ears. Afterward we went to tell the manager, Joe, of our complaint and listened for a few seconds before cutting us off to say that he turned down the volume. He then added, "It is just a loud movie though." I then proceeded to tell him that I worked at a movie theatre for 6 years, have seen hundreds of "loud" action movies in a theatre setting and never in my life have I ever had an experience that uncomfortable in a theatre. As a student of audiology that manager is lucky there were no children in that theatre because it could have been damaging. Multiple customers were saying the same thing that we said on their way out and this manager did not seem to care. Incredibly disappointed and will not be returning to this theatre. I am only giving this review 2 stars because the other employees were wonderful and at least pretended to be concerned. The manager did not show us that same courtesy. I prefer the management at Landmark Cinemas much more.

Juan Carlos Gutiérrez

They left the lights on for about 7 minutes after the movie had started. All in all a very clean theatre, seats could be a little more comfortable by adding more feet space.

Erma Schadenberg

Plenty of parking. Smooth ticket sales. Friendly concession staff. Comfortable seating. What more can you ask of a movie theater?

september g

Went to our first show in almost a year and one of our first public settings since COVID-19. I have never felt safer! Not only does the staff ensure protocols are in place but they ensure you feel secure in their execution of those protocols. Thank you for tonight ???? stay safe!

Adam Chapman

Always clean and enjoyable. If you're going to go, do the iMac theatre, it's fantastic.

CHRIS

Went to go see "IT" Chapter 2....spent $27.00 for 2-med drinks & 2 nachos.......????. Then $26.00 for tickets! REDICULESS PRICING....then the group of 4 I went with got to our seats...they weren't even cleaned..cups wrappers...dirty food trays and garbage everywhere on & around seats...what a joke.

zephyr1237

Saturday December 18th we went to silvercity to see spiderman no way home. Just before the movie started we realized we had bought tickets for the wrong theatre and thought that our movie night was ruined. One of your managers named Karissa stepped up and saved our night by getting us a later show. She made sure to do everything she could to take care of us. Karissa, you're amazing. Silvercity earned some new life long customers thanks to her. We sincerely hope she's appreciated at your theatre! Thanks again for everything Karissa

Vinnie Narace (Vinnie)

Pretty good place, been going there for years now. Nothing I can say other than it's your typical movie theater. Although the seats are pretty nice and they really comfortable and recline.

Fatima G

Team members spend too much time trying to upsell food combos at the concession stand. Tonight was busy and spent over 20 minutes in line waiting to get food and the line was maybe 6 people ahead of me. It shouldn't take over 3 minutes per order to serve popcorn, drinks and candy especially when the popcorn is already prepped in bags. Perhaps when the place is packed the concession workers should be trained to speed it along and get customer's orders through fast rather than asking every one unnecessary questions. This is obviously how they were trained, but maybe they should be told to hustle when it gets busy to speed the lines along. Management: train the workers properly to speed up the process during times of high volume. Upselling has its place but not during rush periods.

Marzipan Pig

I love this cinema! It shows many special events, like concerts, sports, ballets, plays, special movies (e.g. Studio Ghibli) and more, like the Doctor Who Christmas Special. Many events are broadcast live from New York, London, Russia, etc. They also have Saturday morning "Family Favourites" for $2.99, and they're so often good that they're ideal for adults, like "A Monster Calls." Be warned: They sell almost nothing gluten-free, especially now that they no longer sell ice cream products. They sell no juice, which is disappointing. They have coffee. If you have Celiac Diasease, you may need to smuggle in your own snack. You can use a Scene card to get points, and buy your tickets beforehand using the "mobile pickup" option--and there is a special machine there which will print your ticket.

Megan Dobovich

Very disappointed today as I see this place is going downhill. Very few staff resulting in long lineups. Not one person manning the ticket purchase booth (it's Saturday people!). Theatre reeked of urine/ dirty wet carpet...to the point we had to relocate near the front of the theatre. Crazy expensive food that tasted stale and when trying to pay---the machine kept breaking down ("oh , our machines are really bad"). Aren't you even going to TRY and compete with Landmark?! It's 10 times the theatre this one is...

Mike Serifov

A great place to go for a movie. Good service and a clean environment make it worth going to. For some reason many of the seats feel dated. That being said I would never oppose going here for a movie.

Andrea Sweeney

Was awesome, great service, friendly, informative, and clean.

Bon Bon Rodwell

We went to see Mission impossible tonight This cinema was awful. Walked over to the movie theatre. The outside of the theatre was completely disgusting. Dirty dirty dirty. We walked in the rugs were stained ! Went to buy a ticket. All computers kiosk no Publix relations. So sad ! Lack of customer service. Went over to get a smoothie and a Starbucks coffee. Only two girls working with a line up of 20 people or more. Absolutely disgraceful. I felt sorry for the poor girls. Then after paying 40.00 to watch this movie. We sat in the theatre with no air conditioning sticking to those leather comfy chairs. I don’t get it! Then to boot. I use the women’s washroom and there’s no toilet paper!! If you want to keep your doors open. It’s time to step up. I won’t be going back. We were so disappointed!

Erin Stibler

Great seats, so comfy those recliners~Smacks cost mire than the tickets on Tuesday which costs less than any other night! "Book Club" was awesome~

Jack Poirier

My husband and I went to see Dunkirk yesterday. It was offered only in the IMAX theater. We could not understand what the actors were saying, the audio was terrible. When we left the showing, I asked another person who was sitting in front of us, if they could hear the dialogue, thinking it may have been just us but she said that she could not make out what the actors were saying either. I would have preferred to watch this movie in a regular theater, it was very disappointing and not worth the additional cost. Marlene Poirier

Lindsay Hogan

It was freezing in our theatre, my kids were in their winter gear. I asked the manger to crank the heat. He said he would but it never got any warmer at all. The bathrooms were out of toilet paper and the pop corn was not fresh. I’ve been to this theatre many times but I’d never go back after that experience.

Sydney Viaene

I went to see Halloween the other day and It was a great experience. The seats recline, so that was a bonus. The only thing I don't like is the popcorn prices.

Austin Ohl

Old 80s appearance, some like it, some don’t

Maria Medeiros

Awesome relaxing theatre always enjoy my visit Bad boys three was awesome first great movie I seen that i didn't fall asleep too and didn't feel long I fell asleep through the gentlemen movie way to long and dragged on abit Other wise silver city is a great theatre to go too ..

Ryan

While this is my theater of choice, I've had issues with technical aspects of the presentation. I've watched films in specific auditoriums (I forget which ones exactly) that had blown out speakers so the audio was only coming from everywhere but the left speaker, the lights weren't timed to dim at proper times so they would be on for part of the film and the projection has been out of focus at the bottom of the screen. Some films had a blurring when they panned left or right (could be a refresh rate or something with the format they were give for their digital projection). I believe they fixed the issues with the sound and I was sent two passes for the light dimming issue from Cineplex. Overall, I do prefer this theater to others because it's closer and has larger screens. I never use VIP so the lack of VIP doesn't bother me one bit. I love their new lay-z-boy style seats with adjustable footrests and I've had some pretty awesome times here with my friends. I just wish people (mainly students) wouldn't talk through entire films and look at their phones so much but there's only so much you can do about arrogant & rude people these days.

Karim El-Sherif

Even though this location is very close to me, I would prefer to spend the extra time and gas to go to the westmount Cineplex. Silver City is often jam packed with students that keep on talking during movies and laugh loudly and obnoxiously. however, it is nice to go here during the day (first showing) as there would be no one else. Pokestop here.

holly pytel

I really enjoyed the movie that I went to see, the reclining leather seat was comfortable for those long movies and there was enough leg room to get through the aisle. The facility was clean and staff were helpful.

Louise N McCutcheon

Silver city is exciting, attraction is great. I love the seats , reclining is better. Relaxing . Smiles are free. Get points for Sean daily on carrot app.

Jenn Northup

An okay place to go see a movie. The reclining chairs are a nicer touch with more foot room. Bathroom can be cleaner. For the first movie showing of the day the washrooms looked messy and did not smell clean at all.

S P

First time going to the IMAX theatre. The screen was massive and the seating was specious. The cost of the ticket was mildly expensive. The seats reclined but not necessarily where you wanted it to be. I was able to reserve the seating at the time of ticket purchase. All in all a god experience.

Tyrone

It was ok. The movie I watched was great, the experience in this theatre not so much. Service was good. Didn't get food. Seats don't reline as much as other theatres and my neck started hurting after about an hour. Also, if you're a bit short you might have the problem with the rail in the way of your view so get a seat that's a little father down. Dbox seats aren't worth it by the way. At best, they feel like a subwoofer under your seat.

Dharmesh Thakkar

Really good place to watch a movies for cheaper. And you can use your scene card to watch a movies for free. Amazing sound system. What's so amazing is that you can play a one kind of q&a quiz nd can win surprises. Nd it's good place for food as well. In short, everything is amazing over there just go there with out any kind of hesitation.

A J

Typical overpriced Cineplex theatre. Recliners are not comfortable for tall people. The bars cover the screen on the recliners and stair lights are distracting the whole time. Go imax if going here. Clean and friendly staff

Raphael An

Honestly you can't go wrong setting up a theatre, you just have to have the facility clean and turn on a movie. But they managed to piss me off by charging $7 for a large sprite and watering it down so much it tastes like carbonated water.

Albert Perrin

The service is good and helpful. The recliner seats are great. My only complaint is that the volume is way above the pain level in my case. I have been tempted to bring my mini electronic instrument and measure the sound volume in decibels. There is no doubt in my experience that the volume level is harmful.

Melissa Arias Bonilla

Kids loved it. Friendly and clean

Brandon (Brandon)

Covid kind of makes the movies better as there were like six people in the theater and we were all spread out.

Raymond Turner

The screens and sound systems are great. The seating however is kinda uncomfortable. I'd rather go to the VIP Cinema at Westmount Mall and have a beer while i watch the movie too.

Donna Westman

Was a quick easy in and out..but cost $14.00 for med popcorn and sm drink..way too much for a 5 cent amount of popcorn..oh and if you want a 10 cent amount of butter?? Add $1.00

Hadley Bryce

Excellent movie theatre, been going there all my life! Only rated it 3 stars due to some recent changes. Although safe, the bar in front of the seats should be lowered because my vision was blocked while trying to watch. I’m also very disappointed that slushies are no longer available; that was my tradition every time I went! Bathrooms also need better maintenance, and id suggest getting paper, eco-friendly straws! Lastly, I’m mostly disappointed that there are only self-serve kiosks at the box office. Human contact is important and the chance to purchase a ticket from a worker at the desk should still an option! Overall, however, the staff are friendly, and the selection of food/movies are good!

Mark and Lisa McIntosh

The women's bathrooms in both locations were disgusting. Toilet paper all over the floor looked like it hadn't been wiped down in a while. We went in before the movie and after so you know no one was taking care of them.

Brent Boles

Came here looking for jewellery. Very disappointed to find surprisingly little silver at silvercity. Not even any silver wear. Oh well. The movies are great ????

Hilda Calcutt

Great place to watch movies. Getting in desperate need of a renovation. Washrooms are in rough shape. Toilet paper holders broken. Good location but needs a fix up.

Jessica O'Brien

Love the new seats. They really make it more comfortable and enjoying . But the bathrooms where just horrid , very unsanitary and unstocked.

Dave Hersh

As with all Silver City locations....it is an awesome place to see a movie. Only 3 stars because they did not have many kiosks to buy tickets and there was no one to help when I encountered a glitch....the popcorn combo I was ordering at the kiosk rang in as 2....when I tried to remove one....it kept adding one....until I was up to 4 combos for over 70 dollars. I eventually had to just cancel and do the transaction again which was frustrating as we were late already. If you are not going to keep your ordering computers in pristine condition....then at least have a staff member there to assist like other Silver City locations do.

Deb Searson

I really like the recliners and hand railings in this place. I have had both knees replaced and could get to my seat with no problem. This is a big thing for me.

Mark Featherstone

Great seats and small crowd! $9.00 for popcorn seems a little high.

Bob Hatfield

Came for last movie of evening at silvercity the cashiers had everything locked difficulty explaining the combo I wanted then she overcharged me I had to correct her and not overly friendly or polite just felt rushed like they were in a hurry to get out of work. Don't understand why anything locked til at least last movie of the night has begun

ljansen84

They’ve upgraded all the seating but they should do the same with the bathrooms. There has been poop smeared on the back of a stall door for years (mentioned several Times to management) in the women’s washroom and most of the sinks don’t work half the time (barely a trickle). Also, enough of the replaying movies for months on end. Bring in some new movies. I’ve actually had to start going to Toronto to see smaller independent movies which are being nominated for awards because silver city management feels people are still showing up in droves to watch a star is born after 3 months?

Recognizing exceptional customer service professionals is undoubtedly important and necessary. I visited the 1680 Richmond Street (Masonville Mall) theatre August 22nd, which was my first in theatre movie experience since about the first week of March 2020. I truly was not sure I would go. However, it seemed like this was the final showings of the F9 film anywhere in my area so I had no choice as I am fully dedicated to the Fast & Furious Franchise. My entire experience went smoothly, from the creation of my online account to the seating process in theatre. I was greeted in a warm and friendly manner by the front screener and the individual scanning tickets before entering the specific showing. All of the staff members were courteous and efficient. However, it was Brad, Venus, and Meghan that night that were the superstars for me. They made sure that I felt welcomed and provided me with spectacular customer service. They answered any question that I asked, was patient with my ordering process, & provided my with quality food and products (including my poutine and F9 cup ????). I must add that I thoroughhhlyyyyy enjoyed the DBox full recliner seating. I was just happy to be going to watch my F9 film and ended up having my satisfaction levels for my experience blown through the roof by the team. I was further blown away by the Customer Service Desk team and management along with Farrah that assisted me today. I commend the entire team at 1680 Richmond London theatre for being absolutely positively phenomenal.

Sharon Aldridge

Amazing theatre. Reclining seats are so comfy. Snack bars have lots of variety of foods and snacks. Games to entertain young and not so young. Theatre is clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend Silver City

Brynn P

Always clean, quick service. The only problem would be the long commercials in front of the movies, but that's a given anywhere in this day. Always enjoy coming here.

Eric Martin

Great place. I've been going here for a while now and have never had a bad experience. If you want to see a movie, this is the place to be.

Natalie Larose

As far as I'm concerned this location doesnt deserve even 1 star. Management are pompous and power hungry. Staff all need an update in customer service training. Landmark is a wayyyyyy better theatre. If you are considering a birthday party for your child at this location I would strongly suggest going elsewhere. I wouldnt spend another dime at this place. Landmark is definitely a way better experience overall.

Jeff Henderson

Typical movie theatre. It is clean and the quality of the theatre was good. Only complaint about my recent visit was the seats. They are extremely uncomfortable. I much prefer the seats at other local cinemas

Pedro Castro

Going back after almost 2 years and very disappointed, first we do a 4 pp line at the Outtakes they charge us for 4 hot dogs and after few minutes they come back and say that is not enough hot dogs because they forget to take them out of the freezer????.then we move over and do the line on the popcorn and candy store and they don't have hotdogs because they get them from Outtakes. We go into Aud 5 Row E seat 1 and to bad, seat don't work, and after 5 minutes at the show heat start to rise, we sweat for 2 hours, at the end we go out and talk to manager Ryan and he say that they have to set the ac manually because is broken and he forgot about it. Such a big franchise on movies and giving this customer service. I wonder what the health department have to say about this with the pandemic and not air flow.

Brian M Ausman

Good theater, but concession price's are ridiculous. $9.00 for small buttered popcorn. Won't buy drinks bring my personal water in.

Blair Parker

Went to see the new James Bond great movie for action and great experience at silver city

Joe M

One of my favourite movieplexs in London because more of than average screens are big with stadium seating. There are a few screens that are smaller than I'd hope but still good. Can be very busy on Tuesdays and weekends so I use my app to speed by to mobile pickup station. Food is slightly expensive but it's a movie theatre. Recent admission price increases make Tuesday pricing less appealing.

Earl Huggonson

Finally after 2years back into the movies. Great experience.Very clean bright.Covid check at the door, didn't take long at all. Recliners are great.

Brenda Gough

Greeter makes sure everyone knows to keep their masks on at all times, workers seen coming out of a theater with spray bottles, having just cleaned

lakshay dhawan

Great cinemas in terms of cleanliness, staff and quality. Lots of parking available. If you want to enjoy a full audience theatre with ultra wide screen, choose IMAX. However, the seats are not recliner so might feel a little discomfort. D-Box is great for 3D experience. Thank you for entertaining us SilverCity!

Mark Plows

Went to see Dune. Parts of the movie were so dark you couldn't see a lot of the details. The movie kept going in and out of focus. A really disappointing experience. Didn't have any of these problems the first time I saw the movie at a different theater.

Cam McCallum

Great screens and lots of different options! The food lines always move quickly. The chairs seem like they're getting a bit dated though

Cheryl Reid

This is the second time in IMAX when it either didn't work from the very start or movie didn't go into 3D like it was supposed to. Movie was stopped and started from the beginning again. Is it the maintenance and upkeep that's the problem? Also, every time I have gone, no papertowels in the women't washroom and blow dryers couldn't dry your hands if they tried. Come on people, time to redo the facilities. It hasn't changed that much since it opened, except for IMAX when it is working and more food at horribly expensive prices.

Kenneth Chisholm

The Cineplex chain is as mainstream as a movie theatre gets in Canada with accoutrements I don't think are necessary. However, the Scene loyalty program is the best in the nation with the TimeDisplay pre-show games being a stroke of genius. With that feature, you get to not only to gain points, but to play along with the promotional point that actually feels like a fair exchange with the business. In short, although Imagine and Hyland Cijnema are my priority venues for movies in London, this loyalty program is temptation to come more often.

Guylaine Lapointe

Went to the movies for the first time since the start of the pandemic. The place was very clean and I felt very safe everywhere I went: the lobby, the concession, the bathroom and the theatre. Good job Cineplex!
